Benefit from the goals that have been built in the current research, educational units, they are placed in the book for future editions, service for the student, teacher and reseacher.2. Develop achieved the goals that carries the vertebrae isachieved through a simple content of the book.3. Work on the revision of the content of the book in achieving the goals which have earned the low rates, and did not carry any unrealized paragraph.4. There are goals not find her name and was named variety, it is important to take care of and developed, and put it under the slogan, appear in the goals, so that the teacher of their achievement.5. In order to be integrated educational goals should be added other goals with the objectives referred to in the content.6. Abstract: يرمي البحث الى : 1ــ تقويم اداء مطبقي طلبة قسم التاريخ في ضوء مهاراتهم التدريسية 2ــ التعرف على العلاقة بين مستوى اداء مطبقي طلبة قسم التاريخ في ضوء مهاراتهم التدريسية واتجاهاتهم نحو التخصص. ولتحقيق الهدف الثاني وضعت الباحثة الفرضية الصفرية الاتية : ـ هنا | implementers evaluate the performance of the Department of History in the light of the teaching skills. 2 - to identify the relationship between the level of performance of the Department of History implementers in the light of the teaching skills and their attitudes towards specialization. To achieve the second goal and put the researcher null hypothesis the following : there is a relationship statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05) between the level of performance of the Department of History implementers in the light of the teaching skills and Atjahahm towards specialization. The current research is limited to implementers Department of History of the Faculty of Basic Education, Mustansiriya University, for the academic year 2013 2014, either sample Current search has included (50) is applied and implemented, the rate of (20) is applied and (30) in place and they make up the amount of the proportion (42%) from the research community, and purposely selected. Current search tool either are as follows : First, note card included (56) teaching skill distributed (7) areas, confirmed by previous studies and literature related to the subject of research and see the number of lists that confirmed by specialists in the field of teaching skills, and after confirmation of the sincerity of the tool are viewing on a group of Experts and stability by agreement between the researcher and observant person through re - testing (Rertst - test) then applied to the sample. Second, the trend measure toward specialization within (42) paragraph, confirmed after seeing the number of lists that confirmed by specialists in the field of measuring trends towards specialization has been chosen on a scale (Zaki 1974) after making some changes that would fit with the objectives of the research and after confirming Believe viewing on a tool experts and stability through retail midterm and internal consistency for the same sample honesty. Used researcher number of statistical methods for the analysis of search such as Pearson correlation coefficient to extract the stability of the form, and the coefficient of the weighted average results, and weight percentile, while the second goal applied researcher test samples t on the sample search to see the relationship between the level of performance applied to the light of the teaching skills and their direction towards specialization.After completion of the search results are displayed and interpreted, the researcher concluded the following : 1 - The interest in the theoretical side more than the practical side in professional preparation programs, Department of History at the College of Basic Education, which prepares students Almtbakan to some extent for the teaching profession and in the acquisition of teaching skills.2 - The overall level of performance implementers Department of History at the College of Basic Education was without the middle.3 - It turns out that the researcher Almtbaka performance in the field of motivation and arousal Calendar were relatively weak compared to other areas included in the note card.4 - There are trends among students of the Department of History of specialization towards a positive level which reflects the desire of the students of the Department of History of specialization. In light of the current search results researcher recommends the following : 1 - The need for innovation and development in tea preparation programs, and in line with the global scientific and educational developments that confirm the trend towards the use of teaching skills in building programs and setting calendar graduates in the light.2 - processing the ranks of private educational means and technologies capable of delivering information to students with the ability to easily handled and teacher training them.3 - Adoption of the list of teaching skills that have been identified in current research and benefit from the calendar implementers history departments in the colleges of basic education.4 - provide implementers history departments in the list of basic skills that have been identified in this study with a view to benefit from them in the evaluation of their performance self - education colleges. In the light of the conclusions and findings of the current study and its complement, the researcher has proposed the following studies : 1 - conducting a similar study of the current study on the level of basic education colleges give a more comprehensive conception of reality Almtbakan skills teaching performance (comparative study).2 - Conduct a study to evaluate the performance of implementers history departments in basic education and colleges of education in light of global trends.3 - carry out a study about the relationship between the practice of the Department of History implementers some variables that can have an impact on the performance of those skills, such as race and job satisfaction and motivation.4 - building program for the development of the Department of History implementers performance in light of the teaching skills.5 - conduct a similar study on the trend towards specialization and its relationship with the academic and social consensus in Undergraduate.6 - conduct a similar study on attitudes towards specialization and its relationship to the level of ambition among students at this stage

Abstract: This research aimed ar identifying the effectiveness of differentiated instruction in developing of historical thinking skills of literary fifth - grade secondary students, researcher suggest the following three null hypotheses : 1 - There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students in the post and pre - test of historical thinking skills.2 - There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the control group students in the post and pre - test of historical thinking skills.3 - There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students and the average score in the control group students test of historical thinking skills.The researcher used experimental design of the two groups (experimental and control) : pre - test and post - test, according to this design , the researcher chose randomly Al Diwaniyah secondary school for Boys among the secondary schools of the Directorate of Education ofDiwaniyah for the academic year (2015 - 2016), which contained two groups of literary fifth grade and includes 66 students, and randomly selected (A) to represent the experimental group included 32 students studied with the differentiated instruction, and (B) to represent the control group included 34 students studied in the usual way.Equivalence of the two groups in the number of variables, (age in months, educational level of the parents, intelligence, achievement, last achievement in history, historical thinking skills) The researcher ties to control the extraneous variables that might influence the search results, and determined the subjects (chptures 1 - 4) in the academic book of the history of America and Europe to modern and contemporary of literary fifth grade , 4th ed. (.2011), (116) behaviorally aims were put and prepared (24) teaching plan for the experimental group and (24) for the control group, the research tool is a test of historical thinking skills of (40) items of multiple choice with four alternatives, It has been verified its validity by submitting it to a group of arbitrators specialists and constructional validity as the difficulty coefficient and the coefficient of discrimination and the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives for all items of the test, the reliability checked using Cronbach's alpha coefficient as (0.90). The experiment was performed in the first course of the academic year (2015 - 2016 AD) for the period (2/11/2015) until (7.01.2016), The researcher taught the sample himself , the results were analyzed statistically, the results showed superiority the experimental group students who have studied by differentiated instruction the control group students who have studied in the usual way in the test of historical thinking skills.In light of the research results the researcher recommended some of the recommendations, including the use of differentiated instruction in the teaching of the history of literary fifth grade, and the need to the attention of teachers' to their students historical thinking skills through the use of differentiated, and a complement to his research suggested that some of the proposals, including a similar study on the history of intermediate schools, and conducting studies of differentiated instruction reveal the effectiveness of in other variables (such as, deductive thinking , self confidence).

There isno difference statistically significant at the level of (05, 0) between the average of grades of the experimental group students who have studied using the strategy (Listen - Read - discuss) and average of grades of the control group students who have studied by using the traditional method in assimilation. 2. There is no difference statistically significant at the level of (05, 0) between the average of grades of the experimental group students who have studied using the strategy (Listen - Read - discuss) and average of grades of the control group students who have studied by using the traditional method in the retention. In the procedures of the research , the Researcher has depended on experimental design of partial control which is (the design of the experimental group and the control group of post - test) the Researcher has chosen 2nd - stage intermediate students studying in Al - Markaziyah intermediate school / the Directorate of Education inMaysan for the academic year (2015 - 2016) as a sample for his research to make his experience therein. The sample consists of 54 students, chosen randomly, by (32) for the experimental group who has studied in accordance with the strategy (Listen - Read - discuss ), and (22) for the control group students who has studied in accordance with the traditional method equivalence has been conducted between the two groups of research in variables : grades of the subject " History" in the previous year, marks of intelligence test , grades of former knowledge test, education for the father and mother, chronological age measured in months After specifying the subject ( educational material), which included two chapters (I and II) from of the Book of the Arab - Islamic history, the researcher has formulated behavioral objectives, reaching 150 goals, then he has prepared teaching plans in order to achieve what objectives have been formulated , where it is mounted (20) teaching plan for each group , the researcher he has studied the research's two groups throughout the duration of the experiment, which began on 3/11/2015 and ended on 10/1/2016 Researcher has prepared achievement test consisting of (40) objective items of the multi - test on the two groups of the research dated (10/1/2016), then he re - apply the same test after passing (21) days , dated 6.1.2016 ); for measuring the assimilation. After the end of the experiment and carrying out test of assimilation andtest of collection , the researcher has collected data and has analyzed statistically using T - test for two independent samples and results indicated as follows 1. There is statistic difference t at the level of (05, 0) between the average of marks of the experimental group students who have studied by using the strategy (Listen - Read - discuss) and average of marks of the control group students who have studied by using the traditional method , for the benefit of the experimental group in assimilation. 2. There is statistical difference at the level of (05, 0) between the average of marks of the experimental group students who have studied using the strategy (Listen - Read - discuss) and average of marks of the control group students who have studied by using the traditional method for the benefit of experience group in the preceding. The researcher has concluded the most important conclusions : 1. The strategy (Listen - Read - discuss) is of positive impact on assimilating the History for 2nd - stage intermediate students; it is more efficient than the traditional one and maintain 2. The strategy (Listen - Read - discuss) has proven its action and interaction to information for longer time in the mind of the student3. The strategy (Listen - Read - discuss) offers enjoyment to the students during the course of the lesson, which makes them appetite for that. The researcher has recommended a number of recommendations : 1. Clarifying the importance of the use of strategies where the student will be the essential element in the process of learning and also for the teachers via establishing courses by the ministry of education. 2. Included the community of current research students first grade average in middle school day for girls of the General Directorate for Education Babil province for the academic year (2015 - 2016), in a manner of random clouds researcher chose her research community medium - promoter for girls sample of the current research, the same way chose Division (e) to represent the experimental group of the number of her students (33 students), and the Division (f) to represent the control of a number of her students group (32 students), and after excluding students Alraspat statistically in each division became the final number of the sample (61 students). The researcher extracted (48) distributed on the levels of concept (definition, discrimination, application) included chapters identified in the experiment (Chapter V, Chapter VI) from the book of the history of ancient civilizations (i 6) 2015 - 2016, and researcher prepared plans for teaching subjects specific chapters by ( 16) plans for the experimental group according to the strategy (Au) and (16) plans for the control group according to the conventional method, and data processing statistically the researcher used the following statistical methods : Altaia test for two independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient, Spearman Brown formula, chi square, difficult equation coefficient substantive paragraphs, equation of the forces of discrimination substantive paragraphs, the erroneous equation of effective alternatives, the volume effect. After analyzing the results to the researcher found the following : outweigh the students in the experimental group that studied the material history of ancient civilizations using (strategy Au) on the female control group studied the article itself (the traditional way) to test the acquisition of historical concepts and keep them.In light of the findings the researcher recommended several recommendations• the establishment of Directorates General Education courses for teachers of history on how to use Au strategy and implementation of this strategy in the courses that are prepared for teachers and teachers.• the need to use the teachers of history teaching strategies in the education and teaching of historical concepts in order to acquire, especially educational Au strategy that has proven its effectiveness through the current research.Scholar, suggested a number of proposals• conduct a similar study scholarships to other stages (primary, secondary) in history and other materials.• A similar study for the current search to see the effect of Au strategy on other variables like thinking and other skills in history

So for the purpose of achieving this aim , the researcher formulates the following null hypotheses : 1 - There are no statistically significant differences at level (0.5) between the mean scores of the experimental group which is taught history by cluster strategy and the mean scores of the control group which is taught history by using the traditional way in reflective thinking pre - test and post - test.2 - There are no statistically significant differences at level (0.5) between the mean scores of pretest and posttest to female - students of experimental group who taught history by using the cluster strategy.3 - There are no statistically significant differences at level (0.5) between the mean scores of pretest and posttest to female - students of control group who taught history by using the traditional way of teaching.To achieve the aims of study and verifying its hypotheses, the researcher selected an quasi experimental design. Randomly sample is chosen from the students of fourth stage at Babylon preparatory school. The sample consisted 66 student in the amount of 33 students in each group. Section A is randomly chosen to represent the experimental group which is taught by using cluster strategy , while section B represented control group which is taught by using the traditional way of teaching. An equivalence has been done between the two groups in the number of variables including (Chronological age ( monthly counting ) , academic level of the father, academic level of the mother, Intelligence quotient, pre - test of reflective thinking).History syllabus is stated , representing by the first seven chapters of history textbook (the Arabic and Islamic civilization) which is admitted by Ministry of Iraqi Education for the academic year (2013 - 2014) for students at literary fourth stage. The researchers wrote 156 behavioral goal for the first seven chapters and prepared lesson plans for teaching the two groups of the study and displayed models on a group of specialists to ensure its validity.The researcher constructed reflective thinking which consisted of five skills, viz ; ( meditation, observation, identifying logical fallacies, giving convincing explanations, reaching to conclusions, developing proposed solutions), the number of items is 30 items in amount of 6 items for each skill. The test validity, reliability, coefficient of difficulty and power discrimination have been achieved after applying the test on pilot study which is 100 students of literary fourth grade at Tadmur High school for female. The researcher started the experiment at the beginning of semester one on Tuesday 16/10/2013. At the end of the experiment , reflective thinking pre - test is applied on two groups Tuesday 1/ 9/ 2014, then students' answers are corrected and statistically processed by using T - Test for two independent samples and T - Test for two related (Dependent) samples. The researcher resulted the following; 1 - here are statistically significant differences at level (0.5) between the mean scores of the experimental group which is taught history by cluster strategy and the mean scores of the control group which is taught history by using the traditional way in reflective thinking in favor of experimental group.2 - There are statistically significant differences at level (0.5) between the mean scores of pretest and posttest to female - students of experimental group who taught history by using the cluster strategy in reflective thinking pre - test and post - test in favor of posttest.3 - There are no statistically significant differences at level (0.5) between the mean scores of pretest and posttest to female - students of control group in favor of posttest. In the light of the current results, the researcher concluded the effectiveness of cluster strategy in acquiring reflective thinking skills compared with the traditional way. Accordingly, the researcher recommended the need to use the cluster strategy that proved its effectiveness in the teaching of history and do not stick with the traditional way. Complementing the aspects of current study, the researcher suggested a similar study with other dependent variables such as achievement and the development of creative thinking and systemic.

The researcher constructed innovative thinking test after reviewing the literature and previous studies , as a research tool, it consists of 20 items distributed on the 5 situations for each skill of innovative thinking, namely, (intellectual fluency, spontaneity and flexibility, and originality).The test validity has been achieved by exposing the instrument on jury members , while reliability has been verified through applying the test on pilot study. The researchers wrote 156 behavioral goal for the first five chapters and prepared plans for teaching the two groups of the study and display models on a group of specialists in the field of teaching methods, measurement and evaluation, educational psychology, and history.The researcher taught the two groups by himself through the period of experiment which lasted an entire semester. They were taught in the conventional methods after 34 students were eliminated.The two groups of the study were matched din the variables of (age, intelligence, parent education, previous knowledge, skills of historical thinking).In order to measure the students achievement (control and experimental) for the second semester for the year 2013/2014 in the subject history of Europe 19th century, which the student taught himself, the researcher adopted a test made up of 50 items the type of multiple choice and ten items the type of short answer choice.The second tool is the test of historical skills for measuring the historical thinking for the two groups of study. The test was made up of 40 test items distributed into four questions as follow : - First question is made up of ten items the multiple choice type. - Second question made up of six items essay answer type. - Third questions is made up of two items (A) and (B) and the sum of its items is four. The answer is for each item. - Question four is made up of 20 items the type of complete the missing in short answers.The two tests were tested in terms of validity and constancy, difficulty coefficient, the easiness of, distinction and the truth of its items, and all the psychometric features.The researcher used SPSS program as well as T - test and Pearson correlation coefficient, and the difficulty and easiness coefficient, Cronbach’s alpha equation, Spearman - Brown Equation, Point Pi Serial. - Dcorrelation coefficient in processing the results statistically. The results were following : 1 - There are no statistical significant differences at the level of 0.05 in average score of the students of the experimental group who study the suggested program by the use of meta - cognitive Strategies and the average score of students of the control group who study in the conventional method in achievement test after posttest for the study the experimental group.2 - There are no statistical significant differences at the level of 0.05 in average score of the students of the experimental group who study the suggested program by the use of meta - cognitive Strategies and the average score of students of the control group who study in the conventional method in achievement test in historical posttest for the experimental group.3 - There are no statistical significant differences at the level of 0.05 in average score of the students of the experimental group who study the suggested program by the use of meta - cognitive Strategies and the average score of students of the control group who study in the conventional method in achievement test after tests (pretest - posttest) for historical thinking skills for.The most important conclusions which the researcher has come up to are : the pedagogical program according to the meta - cognitive strategies has raised the level for the students of history department in the second grade \ College of basic education. Also it led to the development of historical thinking in a better than the other methods of teaching. In addition to that, the study comes up with a number of suggestions and recommendations. The study recommends.1 - Applying the educational program according to the meta - cognitive strategies in teaching the subject history of Europe 19th century the second year students in the Department of History College of Basic. - EEducation for its role in promoting the students’ achievement and historical thinking.2 - Training history teachers in general of the meta - cognitive strategies and how to make use of the material through making graining workshop.3 - Working on finding educational programs for teaching the student for the increase their response for learning, which are modern methods in teaching.The most important suggestions of the study are the following : 1 - Make other studies about the effectiveness of the program (the meta - cognitive strategies) in the achievement of students and their motivation for learning.2 - Make other studies for other stages and subjects.3 - Study the effectiveness of the program according to the meta - cognitive strategies in teaching history on the patterns of thinking like critical thinking and innovative thinking.

In order to achieve the aim of the study, the researcher put the two zero hypotheses : 1 - There is differences at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental students who were taught history according to the generative teaching model and the control students who were taught history according to the traditional methods in the acquisition of historical concepts.2 - There is differences at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental students who were taught history according to the generative teaching model and the control students who were taught history according to the traditional methods in the tendency towards history. The researcher used the experimental partial design with the posttest that depend on the experimental group who were taught history according to the generative teaching model and the control group who were taught history according to the traditional methods. The researcher has chosen That Alsawari Secondary School for girl to be her sample school. The sample consisted of (69) students, (34) in the experimental group and (35) in the control group and has matched the two in terms of (age, parent?s education, intelligence, previous year scores, tendency towards the subject). The she tried to adjust number of variables. The experiment started on Sunday 27/10/2013 and ended on Thursday 12/12/2013, the researcher has taught the two groups herself and the material included the first three chapters in the book Modern and Contemporary History of Europe for fifth grade (literary branch). After she formulated and has (93) objectives. Then, she prepared the required teaching plans. The researcher adopted to objectives for the acquisition of historical concepts made up of (60) items the type of multiple choice, and the second to measure the tendency towards the subject of history of (50) items. In each five items alternatives (strongly agree, agree, Do not agree, do not Agree Strongly). She came up to the following findings : 1 - The excel of the experimental group who taught history according to the generative teaching model over the control students who were taught history according to the traditional methods in the acquisition of historical concepts.2 - The excel of the experimental group who taught history according to the generative teaching model over the control students who were taught history according to the traditional methods in the tendency towards history. In the light of the findings, the researcher comes up to a number of conclusions about the use of teaching in the generative model, and recommends and suggests a number of pint to be considered by the teachers of history and the concerned in curricula and the methods of socialites.

The researcher constructed the behavioral objectives which amounted to 160 objectives to the three sectionsof the book.The researcher then designed a multimedia programming for the students of the experimental group, which amounted to 16 programs that covered the aspects of the teaching materials.Then the research conducted the teaching plans for the two groups.The number of the teaching plans was matched with the number of the multimedia programs.The researcher conducted 16 plans for each group of the study. A model plan test was submitted to a group of arbitrators to judge it scientifically and pedagogically.The researcherdesigned the two study tools.They were represented by the cognitive motivation scale which was adopted by Al - Janaby(2015).It consisted of 44 sets of items arranged to scaling responses following the Likert - type scale. The tool of measurement was the achievement test which was designed to measure the influence of using multimedia teaching in the achievement of the individuals in the two groups.The test consisted of 40 objective items of mutable choice form.The items were verified in terms ofvalidity , reliability and other psychometric properties.To analyze the results, data was gathered and processed statistically by using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS). After the analysis, the researcher observed that there are statistically significant differences in the responses of the two groups in favor of the experimental group which studied by using multimedia teaching on the achievement and development of cognitive motivation on that of the control group which studied through the conventional teaching. This result means that the development of the achievement and measurement of cognitive motivation for the experimental group is greater than that of control group. According to the study results , the researcher recommends using multimedia in teaching the history subject for second year intermediate because it enhances the achievement level and development of cognitive motivation in the learners. In addition , the researcher suggests that similar studies could be conducted on other teaching materials and stages.

Abstract: ترمي الدراسة الى معرفة فاعلية التدريس على وفق استراتيجية (PQ4R )في اكتساب المفاهيم التاريخية واستبقائها لدى طلاب الصف الخامس الادبي في مادة التاريخ ولتحقيق ذلك اختار الباحث تصميما تجريبيا ذا ضبط جزئي لمجموعتين احدهما تجريبية والاخرى ضابطة ذات الاختيار | The present thesis aims at analyzing the effectively of (PQ4R) strategy in acquiring and retaining the historical concepts on the high school humanistic fifth grade students in the subject of history.To achieve this, chose researcher determined experimentally The control part of two groups, one experimental and the other officer with a choice posttest, and chose researcher Qsidia sample of fifth graders literary from junior Ibn al - Nafis of the Center for Diwaniyah province for the academic year (2012 - 2013) m sample for examination for the purpose of application of the experiment.The total number of the students chosen was (60). (30) of them adopt the empirical task of studying the (PQ4R) , while the other (30) represent the control group who remain on adopting the conventional method of study. Before conducting the test, the researcher took a number of considerations : (intelligence testing, parental educational background, students` age calculated in months, and the prior mark gained in the subject of history by the students). The researcher had limited the educational materials which were intended to be taught to include (chapters four, five, six, and seven) from MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY EURPOEAN HISTORY book which is designed for teaching secondary school fifth grade students (humanistic field) for the year( 2012 - 2013).Consequently, the researcher formulated the behavioural objectives, in the light of the general objectives set by (Bloom) for the cognitive field with its six levels (knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, structuring, and evaluation) which have been reached to (126) behavioural objectives. Moreover, the researcher prepared teaching outlines which are specifically intended to be taught in the subject of history and he also limits the concepts included in the research material in accordance with the aim of the research. In addition to what have been mentioned, the researcher prepared a test of acquiring the historical concepts (multiple - choices test). This test was finally formed out of (45 questions) and its reliability had been validated by presenting it to a group of jury members who were all majored in Methods of Teaching. Moreover, the difficulties and the strength factors of the test had been pointed out. In addition to these factors, verifying the range of the affectivity of the substantial and the test reliability had been issued in accordance with : the method of the partial division method of (0.77) and the use of the intermediate initiation factor of Beirson which was reached up to (0.66) and it had been corrected by using : Sieberman - Brown`s equation which raised up to (0.81), Quador Richardson`s which reached to (0.77) that is considered as a new stability factor.The researcher had examined the two groups of the research by himself. The experiment had been started on Sun. 10/03/2013 to 12/05/2013. At the end of the experiment, he applied the test of acquiring and retaining the historical concepts on the two groups( Control and Sample groups) on Wed. 24/04/2013 , and then, he re - tested the students once again on them in 12/05/2013 to ensure the effectively of the concepts on the sample group. The researcher undertook processing the test statistically. The results showed the success of the control group which has adopted the task of PQ4R strategy over the sample group which remained on the conventional method in testing the acquisition and the retention of the concepts.In the light of the research results, the researcher recommend to use PQ4R strategy in teaching the history of THE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY HISTORY subject duet to its significance in acquiring the students to the historical concepts. The researcher reached to the following recommendations : 1 - Adopting the (PQ4R) in teaching THE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY HISTORY subject duet to its various advantages, such as growing the accuracy and thinking to the students, organizing teaching materials, and growing the learners` cognitive aspects in sense it helps in retaining and memorizing what is read, consequently, it helps the learners with learning and retaining the historical concepts.2 - Training the teachers of history on using (PQ4R) strategy while teaching through conducting courses, educational seminars, and projecting a guide to illustrate the principles upon which this strategy should be used.In light of the results of the current study and its complement researcher suggests : 1 - conducting similar research on other phases of study and both sexes to see the effectiveness of the strategy PQ4R)) to acquire historical concepts.2 - Conduct a study to demonstrate the effect of using PQ4R)) with teaching strategies (such as concept maps, constructivist learning model, self - questioning strategy, other strategies Reading Comprehension, etc

To measure the achievement research’s sample students ,the researcher conducted post test contain 40MSQ items which was valid and reliable and was re - applied after 21 days to verify retention. To measure the differences between the two groups ,researcher used the T - test as statistical tool ,it was revealed that the experimental group exceeded the control group in achievement and retention.In light of the results reached ,conclusions , recommendation and suggestions were given
