There are no statistically significant differences among the degrees rank of the first experimental group (precognition methods) in pre and posttests on personal maturity scale at the level of significance (0.05(.2. There are no statistically significant differences among the degrees rank of the second experimental group (interaction Integrative - Interactive method) in pre and posttests on personal maturity scale at the level of significance (0.05(.3. There are no statistically significant differences among degrees rank of control group in the pre and post tests on personal maturity scale at the level of significance (0.05(.4. There is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of the three groups (the first experimental group),( the second experimental group) and (the control group) in the posttest on personal maturity at the level of significance (0.05(. In order to test the hypotheses, the researcher used the experimental design (two experimental groups and one control group of pre - posttest design). The research population included students at preparatory stage of (25) schools were distributed to The Directorate - General for Education in Diyala. The total number of students (8095), (30) were selected from secondary stage who received less marks from the hypothetical mean in personal maturity scale and distributed on three control groups, and two experimental in amount of 10 students in each group. An equivalence has been done among the three groups in some of the variables, namely, (the degrees of personal maturity scale, ego flexibility, psychological and social compatibility, sequence congenital, live with their parents or of one of them). Then , the researcher tried as possible to adjust some extraneous variables (non - experimental), which were deemed to affect the safety of the experiment which (the maturity, the time of the experiment, the place of the experiment, the sample identification, the person who carried out the experiment.... etc.). The first experimental group received a guidance programme according to the precognitive method, while, the second experimental group received a guidance programme according to the interaction integrative - interactive method, whereas the control didn't receive any guidance programme. The researcher has designed : 1. Personal maturity scale, as the initial form included (36) items distributed to the six areas (‏The sense of self - extension, the intimate relationships with others, self - acceptance, self - awareness of reality, self - objectivity, unified philosophy of life). After the scale has been exposed to the jury members and the statistical analysis for items were verifying, the scale validity has been achieved through the face validity. Also, the reliability has been achieved by test - retest which received (0.88), while the alpha coefficient for internal consistency received (0.81), so the final number of scale items was (27) items. 2. The researcher prepared a guidance programme for the precognition and interaction integrative - interactive. The programme consists of 14 guidance sessions in the amount of twice session per week for each method. According to data research processing, the researcher used statistical methods to achieve it, namely; (T - test for two independent samples, Factor analysis affirmative, Alpha - Cronbach formula, Pearson correlation coefficient, Chi - Square test, Kruskal - Wallis test. The current study results showed the effectiveness of the two cognitive guidance methods; precognition and interaction integrative - interactive in developing personal maturity among students at secondary stage. The researcher reached to a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.

The reason behind the researcher's interest in this type of thinking is the current situation in the Arab homeland in general and Iraq in particular, where difficulties and sudden changes are storming these countries. They are associated with low living income, continuous wars and changes in the aspects of life. These social circumstances contributed greatly in making violent cracks in the structure and harmony of the family. This resulted in deconstructing the unity of the family which impacted the accumulation of painful experiences that the individual passed by during the phases of his life, which hinders his mental growth that affects his professional life where he finds it difficult to; make right judgments, find solutions for the problems he faces, excel in the use of his capabilities and talents. It also leads to lose social and psychological harmony and accommodation, which reflects its impact on the quality of life. The quality of life is a dynamic concept because values and self - evaluations might change from time to time in response for the changes in the different fields of life. Achieving the quality of life absolutely is something not at hand in the life and nature of humans. The quality of life is something relative. Nowadays, it is, for all countries, a national goal and an aim that is targeted by economic, political, social and educational systems of the world. The quality of life, in Iraq and the Arab Homeland, has been highly affected by wars and terrorist acts which left many martyrs and widowed many women and orphaned many children. Absence of security, stability, reconstruction, health welfare and the widespread of unemployment and pollution in Iraq have negatively impacted the personality of Iraqi people. Out of all this, the problem of the research has come into existence. It can be confined by the following question : what is the relationship between complex thinking and the quality of life in educational counselors?Importance of the research : Thinking is the source of knowledge and knowledge is the source of modifying human behavior. That's what makes human behavior different from that of animals which never changes or develops. As much as human knowledge grows bigger his attitude towards things changes and ways of benefitting from this knowledge change as well. Complex thinking can be considered as individual's most appropriate behavior as he invests it to develop his mental skills. Solving the problems that he faces requires him to acquire the skills of complex thinking that enable him to untie contrast, find harmony and reveal vagueness. The scientific way of thinking leads to solve the problem appropriately. That's why many researches, studies and specialized programs tackled the topic of thinking in all its types : critical thinking, creative thinking and super cognitive thinking. These types of thinking have been the subject of investigation in teachers, students, university professors and official employees in comparison with educational counselors. Nedrom (2003) believes that educational counselors play a vital role in supporting students, helping them to identify clear academic goals, putting educational plans, helping students to mix and cope with the educational environment, finding professional preferences. Goals of the research : This study aims at : 1. Measuring the degree of complex thinking in the research sample.2. Measuring the degree of the quality of life in the research sample.3. Knowing if there are statistically significant differences between complex thinking and quality of life in the research sample. This study is confined to a limited sample of educational counselors from both sexes (males and females) in primary and secondary schools in (Basrah, Di - Qar, Missan and Almuthana) in the academic year 2015 - 2016. The final research sample have been selected randomly, it included (278) male and female counselors from (Basrah, Di - Qar, Missan and Almuthana).In order to achieve the goals of the current study, the researcher has built a scale to measure complex thinking following Grown (1999), where psychometric properties have been identified through finding both sides of validity, i.e. face and content of the scale. The discriminatory power has also been extracted by applying the scale on a sample of (250) male and female counselors for discrimination purposes. The reliability of the scale has been calculated by means of using the test - retest procedure, it was (0.92), while it was (0.84) by using Cronbach's Alpha method for complex thinking scale. The researcher adopted the world health organization's scale of (1998) for quality of life. The data have been statistically analyzed by means of using SPSS Data Analysis Software. The study has arrived at the following results : 1. There are statistically significant differences in both (complex thinking and quality of life) for the sample of the study in comparison with the hypothetical means of these two variables.2. There is a statistically significant relationship in the individuals of the sample of the study in general between (complex thinking and quality of life).In the light of the results of the current study, the researcher recommends the following : *. Paying attention to the programs and activities that actively contribute in developing the degree of complex thinking and quality of their lives. and its in educational counselors.

The problem of the study can be summarized in the following question : "Is there sympathy in private and public school teachers towards their pupils?The aims of this study are limited to the following points : 1. Constructing a sympathy measurement for teachers in public and private schools towards their pupils. 2. Measuring the level of sympathy among the public and private school teachers. 3. Recognizing the differences of sympathy levels in those teachers according to the variant of class and type of education (public or private). 4. Identifying the differences in sympathy levels among those teachers according to the variant of gender (males or females). 5. Knowing the relationship between the sympathy level among the those teachers and the variant of educational background. 6. Recognizing the relationship between the sympathy level among those teachers according to the variant of age.7. Knowing the relationship between the sympathy level among those teachers according to the period of service in education. 8. Recognizing the relationship of sympathy level among them according to their marital status. 9. Identifying the differences in the sympathy levels in those teachers according to the variant of social condition (married, single, widower, divorced). 10. Identifying the differences in the sympathy levels among those teachers according to the variant of gender (males or females) and the type of classes (private or public). The sample of this study consists of 502 teachers selected randomly from 369 schools (private and public) in Basra. Concerning the theoretical framework of this research, the researcher exhibited a number of theories that explain sympathy, then the researcher exposed some studies written on this topic. The model adopted is made by Hoffman (1982) which sees sympathy as something related to the awareness of others' feelings, thoughts, his intentions, aims and self - evaluation. To accomplish the goals of this study, it is necessary to use a means of measuring sympathy. The researcher has constructed this measurement tool according to the scientific ways of making measurements. She gathered the points of measurements and showed them to a number of experts working in the field of psychological counseling and psychology. After getting acceptance for 45 items in, the researcher made this scale. After that, she get the discriminant validity for these items by getting the T - test. All these tests were perfect except for 10 items, and by getting SPSS through using two extreme groups, it is shown that all the items are consistent except 13 items. Thus, 31 items were obtained and thus the criterion was formed in its final state. In order to be sure about the reliability, it is measured by a number of ways such as half - split by suing the correlation factor between half - split reliability reaching (0.86) and correction by using Brown - Spearman's equation and measured via Cronbach's equation and the value of stability was (0.92). By using SPSS, the researcher has reached at the following results : 1. There are differences with statistical evidence between the sympathetic staff of teachers in both types of schools. 2. There are no statistical differences between the teachers towards their pupils in both types of schools. 3. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and gender. 4. There is a statistical relationship between sympathy and age of those teachers.5. There a statistical relation between sympathy and the period of service in teaching. 6. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and marital status. 7. There is a statistical relation between sympathy and the academic status towards the negativity. 8. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and the variant of social condition (married, single, widower, divorced).9. There are no evidential differences between sympathy and the social variant (private or public school). The researcher recommends the following : 1. Employing sympathy among male and female pupils via holding discussing sessions explaining the scope of their influence and their role in treating with the pupils and growing their sympathy. 2. Building schools for those who need special needs to make their teachers able to be sympathetic with them in correspondence with their individual needs. 3. Building new schools and visiting a number of classes within a single school to limit the number of pupils within the class to enable suitable sympathy.

Abstract: تعد مرحلة المراهقة في جميع المجتمعات من اكثر المراحل تاثرا بالازمات والضغوط النفسية, كونها مرحلة الوعي والنضج ومرحلة التفاعل مع متطلبات العصر ومستجدات الحياة, ومن ضمن هذه المرحلة فئة طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية والتي تقع على عاتقهم مستقبلا قيادة معظم مفاصل ال | In all societies, adolescence is considered as a life stage mostly affected by troubles and psychological pressures since it is conceived as the stage of self - awareness and maturity as well as a stage of cooperation and concordance with the requirements and prerequisites of life. Students of preparatory schools are included in this stage for they are required to have the lead of the society and its different domains. Those students may face a lot of psychological troubles that will affect their lifestyle negatively especially at the level of communication and interaction. There are two realizations of egocentrism. First, some of them believe that they are the center of others' attentions. Second, others make stories about themselves reflecting their belief in unrealistic thoughts without discussing their truth values, these, in turn, affect their personalities causing some troubles. During adolescence, there appears a positive side which is the shaping of self identity, and negatively how personal roles become unstable or scattered. During this stage of life, some ask about their being and what s/he will be. Accordingly, the individual will face an inner conflict of identifying the self. Those who have this symptom are suffering from self - unawareness in that the individual feels lost, dependent, ignorant. Thus, psychologists find it necessary to investigate about this matter. Thus, the main objective of this study is to investigate the egocentrism and the trouble of students' identity of preparatory school. It also tries to recognize the relative differences between males and females as far as this matter is concerned. It also focuses on the educational field differences, whether pure sciences or human sciences. Further, the study aims at identifying the correlative relation between egocentrism and student' personality crisis.To attain the objectives of the study, an equal and random number of students in preparatory schools is selected from the center of Basra (400 male and female students) of both fields of study. AThe researcher chose two instruments of analysis. The first one is to measure egocentrism and its psycho - metric features are attested (explicit honesty and structural one), and stability of the test is done via testing and retesting. Thus, the correlative factor reaches (0.82) following Cronbach's Alpha. The stability value gets (0.78). The second tool of analysis is the measurement of personality or identity crisis, its psycho - metric features are attested and its measurement stability is done via testing and retesting. The correlative factor gets (0.81) following Cronbach's Alpha, and the stability value gets (0.80) using the appropriate statistical means to achieve the purpose of this study. The main results of this study are : 1) The specimen did show the phenomenon of egocentrism and this can be attributed to this phenomenon is temporary occurring at a particular stage of life such as during adolescence, and during the passage of time, egocentrism abates via the teenagers' cooperation and interactions.2) There is an extreme positive and correlative relation between egocentrism and identity crisis. The researcher has recommended that cooperation and interaction should be encouraged especially between the teenagers and their parents and also their teachers. The researcher has also suggested that students at the intermediate level, who are suffering from egocentrism and how their parents treat them, should be investigated.

The muchness of psychological pressures, crises that struck the man and the dullness of the environment that surrounds him have the greatest impact on man to live a life that is free of meaning and values. The problem of the study is summarized in the answer to the following question : Is there any relationship between internet addiction and existential frustration in adults? The study gains its importance from the variables of internet addiction and existential frustration, the target sample of adults which makes a large population of the society. The importance also comes from finding the relationship between the two variables; where internet addiction might not be a separate disorder but a result of the individual's suffering of frustration. The study aims at knowing the following : 1. The level of internet addiction in a sample of adults. 2. The level of existential frustration in a sample of adults.3. The differences in the level of internet addiction in adults according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age)4. The differences in the level of existential frustration in adults according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age)5. The relationship between internet addiction and existential frustration in a sample of adults.The sample of the study included adults who are officially employed in the governmental institutes of education, higher education, health as well as those who are unemployed but officially registered in the social welfare institutes in Almuthana governorate in the year (2016). The number of the research sample is (400) adults who were chosen in a stratified random way. In order to achieve the goals of the research, the researcher built two scales to measure internet addiction and existential frustration whose items were chosen by reviewing literature and previous studies. The procedure of building the items was done practically, starting with assigning the fields, conducting reliability and validity and analysis of the items. After collecting the data and having it statistically analyzed by means of using SPSS Data Analysis Software, the researcher reached at the following results : 1. The research sample does not suffer from internet addiction.2. The research sample suffers from existential frustration.3. The unemployed use the internet more than the employed.4. Adults between 21 - 39 use the internet more than others.5. The unemployed between 21 - 39 use the internet more than others.6. There are no statistically significant differences between males and females in using the internet.7. There are no statistically significant differences in existential frustration according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age).8. There exists a weak correlation between internet addiction and existential frustration. In the light of these results, the researcher has come up with the following recommendations : 1. The ministries of the government should hold seminars and workshops for their employees to warn them of the dangers of internet addiction. There should be coordination with the ministry of higher education to provide specialized lecturers in psychological health and psychological therapy. 2. Eradicating unemployment by finding suitable job opportunities for youths to secure them from its dangers, such as frustration. The researcher suggested the following two future studies and researches : 1. Conducting a study about the pressures of life and its relation with internet addiction.2. Conducting a study about future thoughts and its relation with existential frustration.

The instrument included six fields : 1. Cleanliness.2. Overemphasizing3. Order and tidiness.4. Counting and repetition.5. Superstition.6. Compulsory Sequence.Those fields produced (100) items.The items were logically analyzed by group of experts a ~specialists in psychiatry, psychology, and educational counselling..The items are then statistically analyzed so as to investiga ~ their validity, reliability and ability to differentiate between t opposite groups. As a result of the analysis, some invalid items we e put a way. So the number of ite1ns were reduced to (60). Fi erepeated items are then added to reveal the accuracy and seriousne $ of the respondents. This made the final version of the suggeste instrument to be composed of (65) items. Three alternatives wer 1 used to measure responses it each item (it happens to me : often iseldom, never).To check the validity of the instrument, the researcbe 1 depended on : 1. Face validity : by introducing the items for evaluation by experts in psychiatry and psychology.2. Validity of construct : through some indicators in the measure like differential ability (the ability of the item t distinguish between two opposite groups), and the intema ·structure ( by finding the relation of the item score to the tota : I score of the measure and the relation of the item score to th : axis score).3. Factor validity.4. Corresponding validity : by calculating the correlation coefficient of the present instrument and the measure o , Psychothenia and the measure of Obsession Compulsion which were 0.85, and 0.89 respectively.Consistency (reliability) of the instrument was calculate as follows : 1. Method of split in half by using Pearson Correlation : coefficient corrected by Spearman Brown. It was 0.93.2. Method of Test - Retest ,it was 0.85. Now, the instrument became ready for application and valid t measure compulsive behavior among adolescents. So it was applie on sample of 300 male and female students. And by statistically· analyzing the responses, the researcher arrived at the followin results : 1. Mean of scores of the sample (61.86) was higher than the hypothetical n1ean of the measure (60). But this difference was not significant on the level of significance of (0.05) and the degree of freedom of 299.2. Results of the differential analysis of the sex variable revealed significant differences between males and females and positively on the side of fe111ales on the total measure and on the five axes.3. There are significant differences in con1pulsion in the variable of econ0111ic level (high, n1iddle, and low) and positively on the side of the low level 4. There are significant differences concerning co111pulsion in the variable of the student's order among his brothers and sisters (only, first, iniddle, last) and positively on side of only and first.Among the recommendations of the study are thefQJlowi : 1g1. Employing the suggested instrument for the initial identification of con1pulsivc behavior in schools, psychological counselling centers, and psychiatry clinics.2. Employing the suggested instrument in career counselling because individuals with compulsive personality are fit for certain occupations.The researcher suggested further research to 1. Investigate the relation of con1pulsive behavior to other variables like place of residency (rural or urban), age, and the way of upbringing by parents. 2. Constructing similar instruments for other psychologicaldisorders to construct an inventory with different scales similar t Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory.

B - There are differences of statistical indication among the ranks of the control group's marks concerning the pre and post exam.C - There are differences of statistical indication among the ranks of the experimental and control groups' marks concerning the pre and post test.In order to examine the research hypothesis, the researcher uses the experimental two - group design ( experimental group and control group for the pre and post test) to apply for the male old - age research community resident in Governmental Homes at Basra and Baghdad Provinces which number is (131) as per 15/02/2014. The research sample chosen consists of (100 old - age individuals) while the experiment sample consisting of (20 old - age individuals) who ranked marks higher than the hypothetical medium of the scale. Those last are distributed fairly into two groups (experimental group & control group). Equivalence between the two groups is made at some of variables such as (respondent grades on the existential anxiety scale, chronological age, length of residence period). The experimental group exposes to a counseling program in accordance with the opposite intent approach, while the control group does not receive any counseling program.For achieving the aim of the current research and testing its hypotheses, the following steps are made by the researcher : 1 - The construction of the existential anxiety scale of 42 items at five areas (Existential vacuum, the meaning of life, the meaning of death, the meaning of suffering, loss of social attribution). To verify the psychometric standards of the scale, it is important to verify the reliability of scale in terms of virtual reliability and the reliability of construction. As for stability measures, the researcher relies upon the re - test method as the reliability coefficient appears to be (0,83).2 - The construction of a counseling program on accordance with the opposite - intent approach, as the total program sessions are (14) counseling session presented as three sessions per week.In terms of the statistical procedures, a number of measures are employed including : ((Pearson correlation coefficient, two - independent - sample t - test, one - sample t - test, Mann Whitney test, and Wilcoxon test).Results of the current research show the following : 1 - There are differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to the experimental group in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale.2 - There are no differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to the control group in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale. 3 - There are differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to both experimental and control groups in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale.In light of research results, a number of recommendations and suggestions emerges.Recommendations : 1 - Benefit of social researchers working in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs from the program developed to reduce existential anxiety in this age group.2 - Benefit of the existential anxiety measurement means prepared by the researcher during the current research in order for using it for detecting existential anxiety at other age groups by educational counselors.3 - The continuous concern of old - age individuals by family and society for the huge experiences of this age group at various fields, which can be benefited of to the social service.Suggestions : 1 - Conducting a survey study to identify the level of existential anxiety of old - age individuals at the Governmental Old - age Homes of Iraq.2 - Conducting a survey study to identify the impact of opposite - intent approach on other variables like psychological alienation, affinity, and compassion. 3 - Conducting a study to reduce existential anxiety of old - age individuals resident at Governmental Homes by means of another approaches like self - sublimation or thinking - shift, and comparing their results with the results of current research

The current research targets the following : 1 - Measuring the assistance behavior with its three dimensions (Favor, donation, Interference at urgency) at university students.2 - Measuring the assistance behavior with its three dimensions (Favor, donation, Interference at urgency) depending on the variable of gender (males, females) at university students.3 - Measuring the assistance behavior with its three dimensions (Favor, donation, Interference at urgency) depending on the variable of the specialty of study at university students.4 - Identifying the impact of the counseling program in accordance with the Interactive Confrontational Approach on the development of the assisting behavior with its three dimensions (Favor, donation, Interference at urgency) at university students.Concerning the limitation of the study (scope), the study was limited to university students in each of ((The College of Education for Pure Science, College of Arts, The College of Law, and the College of Engineering)).Also, in order to set the theoretical frame of the research, the researcher discusses the most important theories addressing the premises and basic concepts of personality and its different aspects, including Bern's Interactive Analysis Theory in reference to its most important premises. This theory is taken as the theoretical framework of the research, which has benefited from the guidance and therapeutic applications provided by it. Moreover, discussed are number of researches and studies that addressed important aspects of personality.In order to reach the goals and results of the research, the following actions are taken : 1 - The amendment of the scale of the Assistance Behavior of (Jaff 1992). The final form of the scale includes 41 points after having been statistically treated in order to extract the factors of honesty, discriminatory strength, and consistency, so the scale becomes ready for application. 2 - The scale is applied on a sample consisting of 400 male and female students from the colleges of Law, Engineering, Arts, and Pure Sciences Education who are selected arbitrarily. After analyzing their answers, 15 students are chosen at the same arbitrary way to form the group appeared to have a decline in assistance behavior, which is set as the experimental sample of the study on which the counseling program to be applied. In the same random way, a sample of 15 male and female students are chosen to form the control sample that is to prove the effectiveness of the counseling program.3 - Preparing and construction of the counseling program : The researcher draws the map of the counseling program to develop the assisting behavior at university students, benefiting from the outcome of Bern's Interactive Analysis Theory in terms of diagnostic and therapeutic steps in this field. The program includes (the identification of needs, the choice of priorities, determining the general and procedural goals, determining the number of sessions, choosing the topics of sessions, and the presentation of topics in each session). Then the researcher has submitted the program to a group of professors, specialists, and experts who pointed some notes that were taken by.4 - The program is applied by the researcher along (20) sessions through which the researcher applied the Assisting Behavior Scale on the experimental sample as well as conducting the statistical processes.The results are shown as follows : 1 - The research findings show the impact of the counseling program used as there are clear differences of statistical significance between the average degrees of each of the experimental and control groups after the application of the program; which is the evidence that the counseling program does have a role in developing the assisting behavior in university students.2 - The research findings show the existence of differences with statistical significance between the average degrees of the male and female samples, as it is clear that the male sample are more assisting than females.In light of the results of the research and to achieve benefit out of them, a group of recommendations and suggestions are formulated as shown in Chapter 4

For the purpose of verification of research procedures and outcomes researcher used the following statistical methods (Pearson correlation coefficient and the equation Altair and Nacho test and Mann - Whitney test and Caucasians and samples t - test for two independent samples).The results showed the following : 1. No statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) ranks among the scores of the control group in the pretest and posttest on a scale of self - efficacy. 2. There were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) ranks among the scores of the experimental group in the pretest and posttest self - efficacy on a scale after application of the counseling program. 3. There were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) arranged between grades experimental and control groups on a scale of self - efficacy after applying Indicative Programmer. In light of the results of research findings the researcher to a number of recommendations and suggestions of the most important.Recommendations 1. on the parameters apply what they have learned from the techniques and methods of guidance with pupils and that what these technicians of a positive impact in achieving the mental health of students and achieve compatibility and thus raise the scientific level of the students (such as modeling - and role playing and relaxation - and persuasion logical) because they are more effective in the educational process.2. make the subject practical training and development of competencies within the Platform for the preparation of teachers and teacher training. Proposals 1. to conduct a study similar to the current study in order to develop teachers with special needs and commensurate with the type of disability suffered by these students. 2. conduct a pilot study similar to the current study to identify the impact of the Indicative Programmer in the development of self - efficacy of teachers ordinary students.

Also, this category represents the youth stage which is one of the most accurate stages in life, the longest stage, and the most influential one. That's why it is necessary to focus great attention and a special care for the university youth as they are the crucial factor in the university in particular, and in the society in general.2 - Highlighting the importance of freedom and intellectual creativity as the nation feels the need to revival and flexibility far from stability, cognitive isolation, and intellectual stagnation. Intellectual freedom and getting away from rigid thinking helps to create a conscious generation of university youth.3 - The study of personality is the primary source of knowledge of human behavior because the subject matter of personality is not limited to examining what we are but what we ought to be.4 - Enriching the personality theory and the patterns theory in particular with cognitive relationships.5 - Also, the importance of this study comes from the linking between two variables (the intellectual stagnation and the five personality patterns, which are Neuroticism, extraversion, openness, vitality of conscience, and acceptability).To the knowledge of the researcher that no Iraqi or Arabic study has focused the linking of these two variables.Limitation of the Research : The current research is limited to students in the University of Basra / College of Education for Humanitarian Sciences and The College of Education for Pure Science, both sexes (male and female) for the academic year (2013 - 2014).To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted the analytical descriptive approach and applied the following tools in the study : 1) The scale the intellectual stagnation from the preparation of the researcher.2) The scale of the five patterns of personality prepared by the researcher, Abdul Karim Ghali in 2012.The researcher also used the statistical packages (SPSS) to manage and process data.Among the most significant outcomes of the study are the following : 1) High intellectual stagnation is evident among university students.2) Males and females are characterized with a level of intellectual stagnation.3) The students of scientific disciplines have a larger tendency to the feelings of intellectual stagnation compared with those in humanitarian disciplines.4) The highest average is for the acceptability factor, and the least is neuroticism. In the second place comes the openness factor, followed by the vitality of conscience, and ranked fourth is the extraversion factor.5) There is no evident correlation between intellectual stagnation and the five patterns of personality.Recommendations : In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the following : 1) To promote self - confidence and create a state of free talks within the educational situation in the university in line with the spirit of the era and the concepts of democracy.2) The establishment of symposia at the university and to provide free scientific and cultural atmosphere represented in open scientific discussions and consolidate the culture of talks, tolerance, and acceptance of other opinion, not to discarded or contempt it because of differences.3) To encourage the various media for the communication among the various community groups and the containment of their contradictions toward citizenship and the spread the spirit of open - mindedness and knowledge.4) The university should pay attention to students through seminars and wall bulletins to overthrow the pent - ups among the university students and to get rid of frustrations caused by academic failure to reach a state of balanced and psychologically stable personality.Proposals : 1) To conduct experimental study addressing the effectiveness of guidance programs in modifying and developing positive thinking, which is reflected on the intellectual stagnation.2) To conduct a miscellaneous study indicating the relationship between intellectual stagnation and other variables, such as methods of socialization, parental social treatment, and social personal responsibility

Thus, it can be determined the problem of the present study upon replying the following questions : 1) what is the level of anxiety examination of female students?2) does the style of dealing with self - have effect in acquiring skills of managing anxiety examination of female students?3) does the style of knowledge rehabilitation have effect on acquiring anxiety management during examination of female students?This study excites the student at preparatory stage by group skills assist them to overcome the anxiety during examination as the development of skills and acquiring it but the student effects in promoting his ability to manage his emotions and to control his self in all aspects of the life in addition to that the student will be responsible for himself at all times.The objectives of the study : - First : measuring skills of managing anxiety examination of female students/Second : identifying the effect of counselling program according to the style of dealing with self to develop skills of managing and controlling anxiety examination of female students of preparatory stage though electing the following hypothesis.1) No important statistical differences in the skills of managing and controlling examination among ranks of degrees of first experimental and control group in the posterior test at mark level of 0.05.Third : identifying the effects of consulting program according to the style of knowledge rehabilitation to develop skills of managing anxiety examination of the female students of preparatory school through testing the following tests. 1) No important statistical differences in skills of managing and controlling anxiety examination between ranks of degrees of second experimental and control groups in posterior test at mark level of 0.052) No important statistical differences in skills of managing and controlling anxiety examination between ranks of degrees of first and second empiric group in the posterior test at mark level of 0.05 3) No important statistical differences in skills of managing and controlling anxiety examination between ranks of degrees of first control and second empiric group in the posterior test at mark level of 0.05.Theoretical part of the present study includes theories and technical applied modes so that the researcher adopts theories of real consulting (Glacier) through applying stylist of dealing with self and knowledge consulting theory through applying knowledge reconstruction. The scope of the present study : - Community of the present study is consisted of : 1)measurement sample : it is totaled (?) female students at preparatory schools of Basrah Governorate Directorate of Education. 2) Experimental Sample : it is consisted of (45) female students were distributed on three groups each group of 15 female students for first empiric group and 15 female students for second empiric group and 15 female students for control empiric group. Tools of study : The literatures of firmer studies, the searcher adopts measurements of skills developing of managing the anxiety examination (Atallah, 2010) as this measurement consisted of 40 items in the primary form distributed by four fields : Muscle relaxation and controlling with physical symptoms - controlling negative thoughts or ideas - replacing it with positive thoughts or ideas - managing time. It is concluded group of psychometric characteristics for the items of measurements through producing it to group of experts and arbitrators in the education and psychology and after getting approval of 80% of the experts, the measurement became able to be applied so that the final form becomes consisting of forty items and that some items were applicable and later extracting the truth of measurement through using extinguishing force and correlation coefficient of items with total degree of the measurement and coefficient of items correlation with the field. The researches verify the truth of stability parameters y two ways (Re - test and Cronbach coefficient).Two consulting programs were built according to the style the dealing with self and knowledge rehabilitation as it is applied at Adul Majeed Al Majidi preparatory school for girls for the period from FEBV.16,2014 to April 24,2014 using chisquare - T test for two independent patterns - person correlation Coefficient) - Mann - Whitney - U test - Kruskal - Wallis - Ttest for a pattern) as a statical means to be applied in the present research. Abstract: Mariage stability and continuity depend on understanding, adaptation, and adjustment between spouses. When a relationship is successful, it becomes a source of satisfaction for individuals; which make them feel belonging to the other part and give power to face hardships. When failed, it leads to unhappiness than could be imagined. Marital relationship goes without distress and obstacles. As a long - term relationship, marriage faces problems which may cause spouses feel frustrated with marital life. Thus, family disconnection constitutes great danger for spouses and offspring. So, spouses are confused because of problems about their disability to settle disputes as a result of deficits in personality such as neurotic perfectionism. Perfectionist spouses put high goals and expectations of self and others, and feel failure and distress when facing a difficulty in achieving them. So, it is negatively reflected on their marriage in addition to difficulties in emotional expression and inability to express emotions to partner, and causing marital distress. Thus, current study aimed at : - Identifying marital distress for a sample of spouses. - Identifying differences in marital distress according to sex, academic achievment, and duration of marriage variables. - alexithymia of the sample of spouses. - Identifying differences in alexithymia according to sex, academic achievement, and duration of marriage variables. - Neurotic perfectionism of the sample of spouses. - Identifying differences in neurotic perfectionism according to sex, academic achievement, and duration of marriage variables. - Identifying the relationship between marital distress, alexithymia, and neurotic perfectionism of the sample. - Identifying contribution of both neurotic perfectionism and alexithymia (independent variables) in marital distres (dependent variable).Research was applied on a sample of professors and employees in Basra university. They all were spouses of both sexes (males and females) during the academic year 2014 - 2015. As for theoretical framework, it was dealt with through the following three basic topics : 1 - Marital distress : concept, factors and interpreting theories. 2 - Alexithymia : concept, prevalence, distinctive features, and theories. 3 - Neurotic perfectionism : concept, types, dimensions; old and new trends of interpretation. Relational descriptive methodology was used to identify marital distress and relationship to neurotic perfectionism and alexithymia. For procedures, study was performed on applied (n= 410 respondents) and control sample (n= 400 respondents0 of spouses (teaching staff and employees). The sample was selected randomly from faculties and centres of the university. To achieve aims of the current research, a marital distress scale was prepared and applied on the sample. The scale consisted of (72) items distributed on six firlds (i.e. lack of communication, dissatisfaction, negative escalation, problem solving, lack of intimacy and love; and increased disagreements). In addition, neurotic perfectionism scale was built and applied. The scale consisted of (38) items distributed on three fields (i.e. self - oriented perfectionism, other - oriented perfectionism, and social perfectionism. Furthermore, Alexithymia scale was adapted. The scale consisted of (20) items distributed on three fields including difficulty of feelings description, difficulty of feelings identification, and thinking oriented outwards. The three scales (i.e. marital distress, neurotic perfectionism, and alexithymia) considered physical validity and structure validity indicators. In addition, stablity of the three scales were verified through re - test and Alfa internal consistency coefficient. To verify procedures and findings, the following statistical tools were used : Chi - square test, t - test for single sample, t - test for relationship significance coeefficient, three - way variance analysis, Scheffe test for multiple comparisons, Percentile weight, standardized error equation, Pearson relational co - efficient, multiple relational coefficient, and multiple liner slope. Current study findings were as follow : 1 - Research sample had higher than hypothetical average score of marital distress.2 - There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to sex variable (in favor of females), and marriage duration (in favore of marriages more than 15 years). 3 - There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to academic achievement variable.4 - There is an interaction between sex and duration of marriage variables as effective in marital distress. 5 - There is no interaction between (sex and academic achievement), (duration of marriage and academic achievement), and (sex, academic achievement, and duration of marriage) as effective in marital distress.Moreover, it was found that : 1 - Research sample had higher level than hypothetical average score of neurotic perfectionism.2 - There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to sex variable (in favor of females), and academic achievement (in favore of institutes).3 - There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to duration of marriage variable.4 - There is no interaction between (sex and academic achievement), (sex and duration of marriag), (duration of marriage and academic achievement), and (sex, academic achievement and duration of marriage) as effective in neurotic perfectionism.Additionally, it was found that : 1 - Research sample had higher than hypothetical average score of alexithymia.2 - There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to sex variable (in favor of males).3 - There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to academic achievement variable and duration of marriage.4 - There is no interaction between (sex and academic achievement), (sex and duration of marriage), (duration of marriage and academic achievement) and (sex, academic achievement, and duration of marriage) as effective in alexithymia.Furthermore, it was found a significant positive relationship between marital distress and neurotic perfectionism; and significant positive relationship between marital distress and alexithymia. It was concluded that both neurotic perfectionism and alexithymia have statistically significant contributions to marital distress. However, neurotic perfectionism variable was the highest contribution, followed by alexithymia in predicting marital distress. The researcher interpreted and discussed findings in accordance with the adopted theory with each variable (i.e. marital distress, alexithymia and neurotic perfecrtionism). Findings were discussed along with findings of literature. Thus, the researcher concluded the contribution of the two independent variables (alexithymia and neurotic perfectionism) in marital distress of teaching staff and employees spouses encourages other researchers to study psychological and personal problems in following cases and experiments. In addition, research concluded several recommendations including the interest in marital coumselling during all stages of marriage through family counselling centres, mass media and family care centres to provide them with information about marriage and relationship improvement. The level of personal intelligence is more medium comparing withhypothesized mean of personal intelligence scale.B. Individuality represents the individual awareness of his abilities, possibilities and aptitudes in addition to self - confidence, distinctiveness, independency and self - control. Where the person knows his job requirements and its success conditions. The female educational counselor individuality represents her distinctiveness in achievement and is obvious in the context of her personal interaction with other female counselors. The present research aims at measuring individuality, moral reasoning and social responsibility of female educational counselors and knowing how ethical reasoning , social responsibility, years of service and academic specialization contribute in individuality. To achieve these aims the researcher has prepared individuality scale depending on Gilligan theory which determine it with four behavioral components : self - conscious increasing, understanding others without following them, pure and good memory and the considerably constant experience. (36) items have been formulated by using reported statements where each item has five ranked alternatives for answering : (always, frequently, sometimes, seldom and never) given them when correcting (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) ,respectively for items formulated towards individuality and the correcting is reversed for items formulated away from individuality. The researcher has ascertained from the discriminatory power of the items and the coefficient of their validity by applying the scale on (400) female counselors chosen randomly categorical. As a result the final form of the scale consist of (33) items for measuring individuality. The researcher has ascertained from the validity of the scale by using face validity through exposing it along with a questionnaire on (12) in psychological sciences and psychometric and also by the indicators of constructing validity through factorial validity and the relation between the item grade with the total grade, also the relation of the item grade with the behavioral component that it belongs to and by the internal relations array among the grades of components. The reliability of the scale has been ascertained by using Alpha - Cronbach formula where it is (0.72) when applying the scale on (50) female counselors. As for the concept of moral reasoning , the researcher has prepared a scaledepending on Gilligan theory which determine it with three behavioral components : expressing emotions, taking care of others feelings and transparency. (30) itemshave been formulated by using the style of verbal situation, for each situation there are threeanswers : the first (selfishness), the second (standards) and the third represents (moral thinking) when correcting they are given grades (1, 2, 3) respectively. The researcher has ascertained from the discriminatory power of the scale items and the coefficient of their validity by applying the scale on (400) female counselors. As a result the final form of the scale consists of (25) items for measuring the ethical thinking. The researcher has ascertained from the validity of the scale by using face validity through exposing it along with a questionnaire on (12) in psychological sciences and psychometric and also by the indicators of constructing validity through factorial validity and the relation between the item grade with the total grade, also the relation of the item grade with the behavioral component that it belongs to and by the internal relations array among the grades of components. The reliability of the scale has been ascertained by using Alpha - Cronbach formula where it is (0.74) when applying the scale on (50) female counselors. As far as the concept of social responsibility is concerned, the researcher has preparedthe social responsibility scale depending on Gilligan theory which determine it with five behavioral components : moral silence, moral emotions, deeply thinking with moral problems, ethical and cognitive association and anti - violence and harmony. (45) items have been formulated by using reported statements where each item has five ranked alternatives for answering : (always, frequently, sometimes, seldom and never) given them when correcting (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) respectively for items formulated towards social responsibility and the correcting is reversed for items formulated against social responsibility. The researcher has ascertained from the discriminatory power of the items and the coefficient of their validity by applying the scale on (400) female counselors chosen randomly categorical. As a result the final form of the scale consist of (39) items for measuring social responsibility. The researcher has ascertained from the validity of the scale by using face validity through exposing it along with a questionnaire on (12) in psychological sciences and psychometric and also by the indicators of constructing validity through factorial validity and the relation between the item grade with the total grade, also the relation of the item grade with the behavioral component that it belongs to and by the internal relations array among the grades of components. The reliability of the scale has been ascertained by using Alpha - Cronbach formula where it is (0.79) when applying the scale on (50) female counselors. After ascertaining from the psychometric properties of the research scale and their items, they are applied on the major sample of the research which consists of (300) female counselors randomly categorical chosen according to the variables of academic specialization and years of service. The data of the present research have been analysed by using the statistical package of social sciences (SPSS) and the results show the following : 1 - Female counselors are characterized by individuality, moral reasoning and social responsibility.2 - Both of social responsibility and the academic specialization contribute in predicting of individuality whereas moral reasoning and years of service do not contribute in predicting individuality. Accordingly, the researcher has recommended a number of recommendations such as the necessity of enhancing the care of female counselors with their individuality because it considers from the important positive aspects of their personalities. The researcher has suggested to conduct future studies like conducting the same variables on male counselors and then comparing its results with the results of the present research.

The psychological counselor plays an important role in the achievement of the general educational goals by refining their personalities and helping them achieve and integrate their psychological, social, and mental growth.That is why the profession of counseling is regarded as one of the complicated jobs as it deals with human nature and with a wide slice of society e.g students.The current research aims at finding out : 1 - Reactive care of educational counselors according to gender, service duration, and specialization.2 - Ego flexibility of educational counselors according to gender, service duration, and specialization.3 - Empathy of educational counselors according to gender, service duration, and specialization.4 - The contribution of ego flexibility, empathy, gender, service duration, and specialization in reactive care. The study is limited to male and female counselors in the primary, intermediate, and preparatory schools of Baghdad governorate (Al - Karkh and Al - Rasafa), morning studies during the academic year 2015 - 2016.To achieve the aims of the current study, two scales are constructed by the researcher. The first is reactive care scale which consists of 40 items and the second is the ego flexibility scale which consists of 54 items. The validity and reliability of both scales are checked. With respect to empathy, the scale of Davis, 1983 is adopted which consists of 27 items. The validity and reliability of this scale are also checked.The three scales of the study are conducted on a sample of 400 male and female counselors who are randomly chosen. The data achieve is statistically manipulated by the methods of Pearson correlation, Chronpach coefficient, multiple regration analysis.In the light of the study aims, the results reveal the following : 1 - Educational counselors have an above - average level of reactive care as computed t - value is found to be higher than the tabulated one at 0.05 level of significance.2 - Educational counselors have an average level of the trait of ego flexibility as computed t - value is found to be higher than the tabulated value at 0.05 level of significance.3 - As compared to female counselors who have an average level of empathy, male counselors are found to lack empathy.4 - Ego flexibility variable contribute in the reactive care by a degree of 0.065. While the variable of empathy gender, service duration, and specialization are found to have no contribution in reactive care.In the light of the results achieved, a set of conclusions and recommendations, and suggestions are put forward

The sample is chosen by using the bladdernut random method. It consists of (300) male and female employee, (167) male and (133) female. The instruments of the research are represented by constructing two scales. The first consists of (30) items for measuring jealousy depending on the theory of social comparison for (Bers and Rodin). As for the scale of martial distress, it consists of (38) items for measuring martial distress depending on the behavioural theory for (Gottman).. finally, the data have been treated statistically by using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The research results show that the phenomena of jealousy and distress exists significantly in the research population. And the jealousy variable leads to martial distress. there are a number of jealousy predictors : (anxiety from separation and excessive sensitivity) which predict differently for each component of the five components of the martial distress, namely, negative exchange, emotional attunement, withdrawal and carelessness, weakness in support and bad treatment. The research society consisted of "258711" of both genders students from "Baghdad", Al - Mustansiriya, Al - Nahrain, Technology and the Iraqi University" and for scientific and humane colleges, grades one and four / morning studies, the research sample was chosen by random division into castes method, the statistical analysis sample were totaled to "320" both genders students, and the researcher built special scale for each variable and in accordance to the research sample and goals, where the psychological identity scale consisted of "32" items, the family coherence scale consisted of "30" items, and the emotional experience scale consisted of "24" item, and she extracted the appearent candor for the scales by showing them to group of arbitrators in education and psychology, also the indicators of building candor were examined, and a sample of "40" both genders students were depended on to extract the scales stability by "Test t re test, and fakronbach methods), no item of the three scales was fall when the statistically analysed, then scales in their final forms were applied on a sample of "280" both genders students, so the recent research sample was totaled to "600" both genders students and it is the final applied sample. Among the statistical means which were used in the study "Q2 test, T - test for single sample, person connection factor, bilateral differences analysis". The results of curreuts study were : 1 - Both (malel - females) university students and in both scientific and humane specialties have clear psychological identity.2 - Dissertation sample individuals from both genders and in both scientific and humane specialty have good family coherence in general.3 - Both genders of university students and in both scientific and humane specialty did not have emotional experience.4 - The connectional relations between the psychological identity and family coherence, between the psychological identity and emotional experience, and between family coherence and emotional experiences were directly connected relations and positive statistically. For the purpose of identification the psychological heplessness among Preparatory Stage students, the researcher built a scale based on the theory of Heplessness by (Seligman). The sample of the study consisted of 400 students from the fifth preparatory class (scientific/literary). The scale in its final form consists of (35) items. It has been exposed to a group of expert professors who retained only (32) items distributed on three fields : - Motivational helplessness - Cognitive helplessness - Emotional Helplessness After fulfilling the validity of the scale, the researcher ascertained its reliability by using test and re - test method. The constancy coefficient reached (0.85) and by using Cronbach Alpha’s method which is (0.87). In order to build the consulting program with its two styles, the scale was applied on a sample that consists of (100) students for the purpose of knowing the students who suffer from psychological heplessness and those who need the consulting program. All the items of the trait has been introduced and the number of sessions consulting program (13) counseling sessions. The program has been built and exposed to a number of expert professors. The experiment sample consists of (45) students who scored high on the scale. They were randomly distributed on three groups : (15) students per group : two experimental groups with a one control group. The equalization has been conducted for the three groups. The following statistical means are used : 1 - Pearson Correlation Coefficient to find out the reliability by using the test and re - test method.2 - Cronbach Alpha’s method to find out reliability in the method of internal consistency.3 - Croscal/Wales Test to know the significant differences among the groups.4 - T - Test for two independent samples to find out the discriminatory power of the scale items.5 - Man - Whitney Test for two independent samples for the three groups to test the significance of differences among the ranks of three groups. After the application of the program on the two experimental groups, the scale was applied three groups (post - test) showing the following results : 1) The thoughts stopping style has an effect in reducing psychological heplessness for the preparatory stage students. 2) The cognitive restructuring style has an effect in reducing psychological heplessness for the preparatory stage students. However, the sample stability was (50) teachers, a researcher apply the measure on a sample of (100) teachers in which (20) teacher had chosen for whom got less marks in the scale of self - control and distributed randomly in to two groups equally each one of them got (10) teachers.The researcher adopted the scale of self - controlling by (AL - Huchaimi, 2010), and the scale was showing at the group of experts in the measurement, evaluation and psychological counseling. And the measurement his honesty and high stability. The researcher used the style of counseling for reality to the scientist (William Clasr) with the experimental group, so the number of counseling sessions became (12) ones, and the time of each session got (45 minutes) in three times per week, while the controlling group was not exposed to any indicative style.The researcher had checked the veracity of the counseling program by submitting it to a group of specialists in the fields of psychological counseling and guidance programs.He used appropriate statistical methods in the current research, including : AL - Taia test for two independent samples - Pearson correlation plant - Alpha Chrome Bach - Mann - Whitney medium - sized samples - Chi square.The results of current research has proved that there are significant differences among the ranks of the experimental group and controling group in far - test, and in favor of the counseling program the researcher has got a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.

(31) items have been formulated by using reported statements where there are five ranked alternatives for answering in front of each item (always, often, sometimes, rarely, never). When correcting, they are given (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) respectively for items formulated towards measuring time organizing, however, this correcting is reversed for items formulated in reverse to time organization. The researcher has ascertained from the discriminatory power of the items and their validity coefficients by applying the scale on (300) male and female counselors chosen by using simple random style. The researcher has ascertained the validity of her scale by using two indicators, namely, face validity through exposing the scale items in a form of questionnaire on (12) experts in psychological counseling and psychometrics. As a result, three items have been excluded and the final form of the scale consists of (28) for measuring vigilant personality. And also by using constructing validity through the relation of the item grade to the total grade and the relation of the grade item with the behavioral component. The researcher has also ascertained from the reliability of the scale by using two methods : re - test where the reliability coefficient is (0.70) and by using Alpha - Cronbach formula, it is (0.76) when applying the scale items on (50) male and female counselors. As for the concept of psychological stability, the researcher has prepared a scale depending on Eysenck theory which is determined by six fields : (emotional stability, psychological agreement, social agreement, psychological security, optimistic and rationale). The items have been formulated by using reported statements where there are five ranked alternatives for answering in front of each item (always, often, sometimes, rarely, never). When correcting, they are given (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) respectively for items formulated towards measuring job satisfaction, however, this correcting is reversed for items formulated in reverse to job satisfaction. The researcher has ascertained from the discriminatory power of the items and their validity coefficients by applying the scale on (300) male and female counselors chosen randomly categorically. The researcher has ascertained form the validity of her scale by using two indicators, namely, face validity through exposing the scale items in a form of questionnaire on (12) experts in psychological counseling and psychometrics. As a result, the scale consists of (46) for measuring psychological stability after excluding (7) items depending on the experts opinions. And by using constructing validity through the relation of the item grade to the total grade and the relation of the grade item with the behavioral component. The researcher has also ascertained from the reliability of the scale by using two methods : re - test where the reliability coefficient is (0.77) and by using Alpha - Cronbach formula, it is (0.81) when applying the scale items on (50) male and female counselors. After ascertaining the psychiatric properties of the research scales and their items and determining the variable of the job year service by five years according to the points of view of the experts. The two scales are applied on the basic sample of the research (300) counselors chosen randomly categorically. The data have been treated statically by using the statistical package (SPSS), the results show the following : 1 - The male and female counselors are characterized by having vigilant personality.2 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the social gender in vigilant personality.3 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the years of service in vigilant personality.4 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the social gender and the years of service in vigilant personality.5 - The male and female counselors are characterized by having psychological stability. 6 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the social gender in psychological stability.7 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the years of service in psychological stability.8 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the social gender and the years of service in psychological stability.9 - There is a correlational positive relationship between vigilant personality and psychological stability. The above results imply that there is a correlational positive relationship between vigilant personality and psychological stability. In the light of the results, the researcher has put forward a number of recommendations and suggestions

Validity of items has been tested by submitting the scale for a jury members group of specialists in sciences of education and psychology, after that making a statistical analysis for these items in two ways; ( the two extremist groups, relation between each item and the total score of scale, item with the scope, and one scope with other scopes), validity of the scale has been achieved through face and content validity. 2.Constructing a counseling program to develop theexistentail attendance for (francal) and (Planning, programming and budgeting ) model, sessions of the program reached to (12) counseling sessions of (45) minutes, two sessions per - week. The (SPSS) statistical briefcase has been used by the researcher for the treatment and analysis of data statistically.The results pointed to the following findings : 1.There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the experimental group and the control group in the post - test. 2.There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance among the mean scores of experimental group samples in both the pre and posttests3.There are no statistical significant differences on(0.05)level of significance between the mean scores of mals experimental group samples and females of the same geoup in the pre - test. Abstract: The rise and development of any society can be measured through the cognitive successes that may individuals get of these societies, and these societies can also be vanished through the cognitive failures that may happen, because knowledge is the reason of each development and arise and this knowledge may fail in some societies and if so, this will cause many problems to these peoples and societies, a lot of evidences points to that most of the learners do not complain of learning being hard and of some difficulties in it as much as they complaining of difficulties in remembering and learning these information, a modern point of view asserted that information do not disappear from the memory but sometimes we fail in re - remembering or recognizing them and this because we did not symbolized or saving them accurately which leads to failure in remembering such information, or the events that may take place during the cognitive treatment and reducing the degree of interest and attention of the individual during the treatment. And the procedures of cognitive controlling assist the person to control the important cognitive processes such as attention, perception, memory and using information through the awareness of these processes that require ability or dependent behavior and cognitive flexibility.Recent study aims at knowing the effectiveness of a counseling program depends on cognitive controlling in reducing cognitive failure for the students of College of Basic Education, and this can be through deriving the following hypotheses : 1. There are no statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of experimental group samples and the mean of those of the control group in the pre - test to measure cognitive failures.2. There are no statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance among the mean scores of experimental group samples in both the pre and posttest to measure cognitive failures.3. There are no statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of male experimental group samples and females of the same group in the pre - test to measure cognitive failures.For the purpose of measuring the following variable represented by cognitive failure, the researcher himself prepared a scale constructed according to the definition of Broadbent for the cognitive failures who defines it as “Individual failure in dealing with information he had or face, whether remembering or recognizing experience related to this information or the process of using it in accomplishing a task.” The scale consisted of (43) items formulated literally, the researcher checked out the psychometric features of the scale through procedures of validity and reliability.To achieve the aim of the study and its hypotheses, the researcher followed the experimental design that comes with the nature and variables of the study. The sample of the study is (24) male and female students from both the department of Sciences and Psychological Counseling in College of Basic Education whom their scores were too high in cognitive failures, they distributed randomly into two groups (experimental group and control one), (12)male and female students for each group. The researcher depending upon using the two groups design of pre and post tests, equivalence of variables has been done through(students’ scores in cognitive failures, father and mother education, arrangement of the birth in the family, age for each student).The counseling program depending upon cognitive control has been used with the experimental group only, there were two sessions per a week of (45) minutes, the total number of sessions was (12) counseling sessions and this requires using (SPSS) as an analytic statistical program for social sciences. The researcher use the following statistical tools in treating data : (percentage, t - test of two independent samples, Pearson Coefficient, mean, standard division, Chi - square (x) Good fitness test, Kolmogorov - Smirnov test, Mann - Whitney test, wilcoxon test, and the equation of the size of the impact of the nonparametric tests).The results pointed to the following findings : 1.There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of experimental group samples and the mean of those of the control group in a pre - test to measure cognitive failures, for the benefit of experimental group.2. There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance among the mean scores of experimental group samples in both the pre and posttest to measure cognitive failures, for the benefite of posttest.3. There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of male experimental group samples and females of the same group in the pre - test to measure cognitive failures, for the benefit of female students.And the effectiveness of the counseling program depending on cognitive control in reducing cognitive failures appeared for the students of College of Basic Education highly.The researcher presented a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions in the light of the findings of recent study.

AL - Azergawi scale ( 2007 ) has been adopted for the intellectual Intoleration. This scale has been exposed to ajury members of experts in psychology and Psychological counseling for ensuring the face validity. The reliability of the scale has been calculated by using test - retest. Cognitive counseling program has been constructed according to ( ELLIS ) theory. The number of counseling sessions were ( 16 ) and the face validity has computed by exposing the Program to ajury members of experts in the psychological counseling. The researcher concluded l hab : 1 - There is no statistically significant differences at the level of ( 0,05 ) between the rank orders of the control group in the pre - test. 2 - There is no astatistically significant differences at the level of ( 0,05 ) of the experimental group before and after the application of the program. 3 - There is no statistically significant differences at the level of ( 0,05 ) between the rank orders of experimental group and the control group in the post - test and for the sake of the experimental group. The current research has strived to realizing the liaison correlations among skills of self - affirmation, the emotional Stability and the moral principles for the educational advisers in Baghdad governorate at the general directorate of educational in KARKH and RUSAFA, and of both general( male - female) and the research sample consisted of (300 ) of educational he/ she advisers chosen from the six general directorate of Education, and the results have revealed that the educational advisers of the current research sample enjoyed skills of self - affirmation, emotional equilibrium and in the moral values, the results have displayed also, that the period of service have been contrasted in the three variables, one for the short period and second for short period service, and third for the long period of service for each service separately. The results have proved that there is positive liaison correlation among the three variables of the research, skills of, self - affirmation, emotional equilibrium and the moral principles, and the current research has come up with anumber of recommendations and suggestions.

To achieve those goals , the researcher has built a measure of ( lifestyles ) and a measure of ( taking responsibility ) based on Adler 's theory. The application of these two measures was on a sample of ( 300 ) students at Al - Mustansiriya University Studies in the morning study. The sample is chosen by using the stratified random equally on both majors (Scientific and , Humanitarian ). After making ascertaining of the discriminatory power of the two scales items, their validity has been ascertained by using face validity and construction validity. After that the reliability has been ascertained by using the test re - test method ( external consistency ) and the method of Alpha Cronbach ( internal consistency ). To find the search results , the researcher has used the appropriate statistical means, including Pearson correlation coefficient and t - test samples for one sample and binary variance analysis. After analyzing the data statistically, the researcher has reached to a number of results, they are as the follows : 1. The most common style among university students is the social style. It is the only positive style of the styles that have been studied , ( control style , the taking style , the style of avoidance , social style ).2. There are no significant differences in ( the style of taking , social style) on in accordance with the type variable (male , female) , while the results show the existence of significant differences in the ( control method ) the differences are in favor of males , and significant differences in the ( differences style avoidance ) in favor of females. While statistically significant differences do not appear in lifestyles according to the variable of area of study (scientific, humanitarian).3. The results show that university students have the characteristic of taking responsibility.4. The results do not show statistically significant differences in taking responsibility according to the variables of gender (male , female) and specialization study ( scientific , humanitarian ) and the interaction between them.5. The results show an inverse relationship among the (control style, taking style, and avoidance style) and take responsibility. While the results show a positive relationship between the (social style ) and take responsibility.In the light of the achieved results, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations including : • The guidance centers in universities and seminars have to encourage the social style. Finally, the researcher has put a number of suggestions : • Making a comparative study of lifestyles among young people and the elderly people.

So targeted Current search to identify the emotional deprivation and psychological security and avoidant attachment and factors it among university students, and see significant differences in each factor of them according to gender, specialization and class, and to identify any of the predictors of emotional deprivation and psychological security can predict every predictor of predictors attachment avoidant. In order to achieve the aims of the research were designed scales Find three, a scale of emotional deprivation and a scale of psychological security and the scale of avoidant attachment depending on the theory Bowlby, it consisted of emotional deprivation scale of (34) items distributed on four components, and consisted of psychological security scale of (25) items distributed on three components,and consisted avoidant attachment scale of (28) items distributed on three components, and used the method of report statements in the drafting items of the three scales, put in front of each item (5) scalable alternatives to answer is (always, frequently, sometimes, seldom, never) be given to them when correction degrees (5, 4, 3, 2, 1), respectively, formulated with the items of measurement concept, it reflects the correction of items formulated unlike measurement concept. Applied three scales on the sample amounting to (400) students from Al - Mustansiriya University students were selected style class random, were verified from the distinction power of the items of the three scales using the extremist groups style and correlation of the degree of each item to the total degree of the scale, the validity were examined of three scales through face validity and constructing validity by the examine construction of infrastructure for each scale, which showed the presence of four factors emotional deprivation is empathy and family relations and emotional maturity and psychological adjustment , and the presence of three Factors psychological security is Emotional Support and social relations and Stress and threaten situation, and the presence of three factors to avoidant attachment is the fear of closeness and self - reliance and suspicion and lack of trust with others, and examined researcher of the reliability of the three scales by two method re - test and analysis of variance using the equation alpha Cronbach of the scale as a whole and for each factor of factors scale, and reliability coefficients were all good. The data were analyzed using the Statistical package of Social Sciences(SPSS) and the results showed : - 1. The university students do not suffer from emotional deprivation, and they have a sense of psychological security, and have no avoidant attachment.2. There are differences statistically significant in three of emotional deprivation factors according to the variable of academic specialization.3. There are differences statistically significant in the first factor of psychological security according to variable gender and bilateral interaction (gender× specialization), and in the third factor according to the variables of gender, specialization and class.4. There are differences statistically significant in the first factor of the avoidant attachment accordance with the bilateral interaction (gender×class), and in the second factor according to variable class, and in the third factor according to variable gender.5. There is a gathering of three predictors are emotional maturity and empathy and Stress and threaten situation interpreted (27.3%) of the fear of Closeness of the avoidant attachment.6. There is a gathering of three predictors are social relationships, empathy and emotional maturity interpreted (28.8%) of the self - reliance of the avoidant attachment.7. There is a gathering of four predictors are emotional maturity and family relations, social relations and psychological adjustment interpreted (16.9%) of the suspicion and lack of trust with others to avoidant attachment. The importance of authentic happiness comes from it’s being a positive influence on people's lives, and achieving it is the desired goal sought by every one of us. The process of detecting authentic happiness in students in the university depends on the nature of their basic psychological needs and their personal factors or traits. This research targeted the identification of the basic psychological needs and the big five personality factors and authentic happiness among university students, and to identify the extent of the contribution of every need of basic psychological needs and every trait of the big five personality factors in the prediction of each of the components of authentic happiness.In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher built the two scales of basic psychological needs depending on Deci and Ryan's theory, and the big five personality factors depending on Costa and Macri’s theory. The researcher also adopted the scale of Seligman and Peterson for authentic happiness which is translated to Arabic by (Muammriah 2012). The scale of basic psychological needs consisted of (24) items, distributed on three aspects. The scale of the big five personality trait consisted of five of (44) items distributed on five aspects. The scale of authentic happiness consisted of (48) items distributed on six aspects. The three scales were applied on a sample amount of (400) students from the University of Thi - Qar, Chosen according to Stratified random sampling. A verification was done to the discriminatory power of the items of the scales of basic psychological needs and the big five personality factors, and the correlation degree of each item with the overall degree for the two scales. Also the validity of the two scales were verified through the validity of content and structure, as well as conducting validity and reliability of the Saljman and Patterson’s scale. The researcher and check the stability of the three scales factors using the test and retest and alpha Cronbach's equation.The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences SPSS and the results showed : ­ That college students have satisfied the basic psychological needs and have the attributes of big five personality factors and feel authentic happiness.­ The existence of a positive indicative correlation between the psychological needs function and of the big five personality factors and authentic happiness.­ There's a gathering of four predictors : the competence need, factors of neuroticism, extraversion, and openness to experience interpreted (21%) of the first component (wisdom and knowledge) for authentic happiness.­ There’s a gathering of five predictors : the competence need and the need relatedness, and factors of neuroticism, tolerance, and the Conscientiousness, interpreted (24.5%) of the second component (courage) to authentic happiness.­ There's a gathering of four predictors : the competence need and the need relatedness, and Agreeableness and openness to experience interpreted (15%) of the third component (love and humanity) for authentic happiness.­ There's a gathering of four predictors : the competence need, factors of neuroticism, openness to experience, and Agreeableness interpreted (14.5%) from the fourth component (justice) for authentic happiness.­ There is a gathering of six predictors : the competence need, and the need relatedness, and factors of neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, and the Conscientiousness interpreted (14%) of the fifth component (moderation) for authentic happiness.­ A gathering of five predictors : the competence need, factors neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, Agreeableness, interpreted (19.8%) of the sixth component (transcendence and spirituality) for authentic happiness, and in light of the results of the research the researcher provided some recommendations and proposals

The researcher has ascertained from the discriminatory power of the items and their validity coefficients by applying the scale on (400) male and female students chosen by using categorically random style from engineering, sciences, arts and education colleges of the university of Al - mustansiriah. The researcher has ascertained the validity of the scale by using two indicators, namely, face validity through exposing the scale items in a form of questionnaire on (25) experts in psychological counseling, mental health and psychometrics. And also by using constructing validity through the relation of the item grade to the total grade of the style. The reliability of the scale has been ascertained by using, re - test method, where the reliability coefficients of the attachment styles (secure, anxious, avoidant and fearful) are (0, 75. 0, 77, 0, 73, 0, 78) respectively and Alpha - Cronbach where the reliability coefficients of the attachment styles (secure, anxious, avoidant and fearful) are (0, 73. 0, 74, 0, 71, 0, 76) respectively when applying the scale on a sample of (50) students, however, the final form of the scale consists of (32). The researcher has constructed a scale for measuring emotional subjective loneliness according to Weiss theory. The scale consists of (23) items which are formulated by using reported statements, where there are five ranked alternatives for answering in front of each item (always applicable, often, sometimes, rarely, never applicable). When correcting, they are given (5, 4, 3, 2, 1), respectively for items formulated towards measuring emotional subjective loneliness, however, this correcting is reversed for items formulated in reverse to emotional subjective loneliness. However, the data have been analyzed by using the statistical package (SPSS). In the light of the objectives of the research, the researcher has arrived at the following results : - 1 - University students have the attachment styles (avoidant, secure, anxious and fearful) respectively.2 - There are differences in the attachment style (secure) according to gender for the benefit of males.3 - There are no statistically significant differences in the attachment style (anxious) among university students.4 - There is an effect in the attachment style (avoidant) according to gender for the benefit of females.5 - There are no statistically significant differences in the attachment style (fearful) among university students.6 - University students do not undergo emotional subjective loneliness.7 - There are differences in emotional subjective loneliness according to specialization for the benefit of scientific.8 - There is a correlational relationship between the attachment styles (anxious, fearful, avoidant and secure) respectively and emotional subjective loneliness. 1 - Identify the effect of cognitive behavioral heuristic in defeatist behavior modification among the university students through the verification of the following hypotheses - There are not statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between average degrees of members of the experimental group in the pre and post tests on a scale defeatist behavior after application cognitive behavioral counseling program. - There are no statistically significant differences at the level of 0,05 between the average scores of the control group in the pre and post tests on a scale of defeatist behavior after the application of cognitive - behavioral program on the members of the experimental group. - There are no significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between average levels of degrees of individuals in the experimental group and the control group in posttest on the defeatist behaviour scale after applying cognitive - behavioral counseling program - There are no significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between average levels of degrees of individuals in the experimental group and the control group in posttest on the defeatist behaviour scale In the delayed testing attributed to the experimental ,control group , variable2 - To identify the size of the impact that the independent variable (cognitive behavioral counseling program) in the dependent variable (defeatist behavior) among university studentsHere is the need to use the indicative program on guidance techniques in accordance with the Behavioral Counseling theory for Milikinbom to modify defeatist behavior where the problem of research appear by asking the following : does cognitive behavioral counseling impact on defeatist behavior modification in students of university students.In order to test the hypotheses of research the researcher used experimental design (design of the experimental group and the control group) as research sample consisted of 30 students from the college of basic education/ Mustansiriyah university who got higher scores on virtual average of defeatist behaviour scale Which was built in the light of the literature and previous studies and open questionnaire addressed to the students of the College of Basic Education and after the researcher achieved the sincerity and persistence and distributed randomly into two groups.The researcher has used cognitive - behavioral counseling program with the experimental group and the control group was not subjected to an indicative program The researcher based on a specimen planning, programming and budget in buildingIndicative Program according to the theory of cognitive behavioral counseling (Mikinbhum) and the program of (12) sessions and session length (45) minutes with two sessions each week were verified the veracity of the indicative program after presentation to a group of experts in psychological counseling and educational guidance.It was used of the following statistical methods (t - test for two independent samples ,Pearson correlation coefficient , Percentage, equation of Alpha Cronbach sprains kurtosis, Kia - square and Mann Whitney test of medium samples , test and Caucasians, the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, equivalent size of the impact of the nonparametric tests.The researcher found a set of results, including; - The presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of members of the experimental group in the pre and post tests on a defeatist behavior scale after the application guidance ,indicative knowledge for the benefit of post - test. - The lack of statistically significant differences between the average scores order, members of the control group in the pre and post tests on a defeatist behavior scale after the application of cognitive - behavioral on the members of the experimental group. - The presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of members of the experimental group and the average grade scores of the control group in posttest on a defeatist behavior scale after the application of cognitive behavioral counseling program and in favor of the experimental group. - The presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of members of the experimental group and the average grade scores of the control group in posttest on a defeatist behavior scale attributed to the group variable (experimental, control) after the application of cognitive behavioral counseling program for the experimental group.The ratio of the volume effect of cognitive behavioral counseling when Mikinbhum to modify defeatist behavior among university students high hitting (13.97).The research has come to the current set of recommendations and proposals. Recommendations 1 - Educational advisors benefited Counseling centers in universities from developed scale in the current research to diagnose the defeatist behavior of university students.2 - Educational advisors benefited Counseling centers in universities from current indicative program to modify the defeatist behavior in university students.3 - Paying attention of educational Establishments such as colleges with indicative programs and taking their guidance and applied to reduce and modify a lot of behavioral disorders such as defeatist behavior which affects students. 4 - Need to hold scientific seminars in guidance centers in colleges particularly to discuss behavioral disorders such as defeatist behavior, which controls the students and explain the reasons for its inception and ways to get rid of it and curedProposals An update of the current research, and must conduct the following studies; 1 - effectiveness of heuristic program by other indicative methods to modify the defeatist behavior and other variables among university students. 2 - Study of the relationship between defeatist behavior and other variables such as guilt or psychological alienation. 3 - To conduct a study on the behavior modification defeatism among other age groups.
