Abstract: يهدف البحث الحالي الى تقويم كتب القراءة العربية للمرحلة الابتدائية في ضوء معايير جودة الكتاب المدرسي، وللتحقق من هدف البحث , تم اعتماد الاجراءات الاتية : اختار الباحث المنهج الوصفي لملاءمته واجراءات البحث الحالي وتحقيق اهدافه. شمل مجتمع البحث الحالي مدار | This research aims at evaluating the Arabic Reading Books for the Primary Study in the Light of the Textbook Quality Criteria, and for achieving the objective of the research; the following processes have been adopted : The researcher has chosen the descriptive approach for its suitability for the processes of the current research, and the achievement of its objectives.The sample of the current research includes the primary schools, (male and female) teachers of Arabic Language - who teach the last three primary stages for the academic year 2015 - 2016 in the General Directorate for Education in the province of Wassit - whose number is 2561 (male and female) teachers.The researcher has chosen the questioning sample which includes [60] male and female teachers, [20] teachers for each of the three stages.The sample of the research consists of (600) male and female teachers who represent nearly a rate of (24%) of the whole research society of teachers after excluding the members of the questioning sample, distributed into (200) teachers teaching Arabic Language at the fourth, fifth, and sixth primary stages.The researcher depends on the following when constructing the research : ? Directing an open questionnaire for the members of the questioning sample for collecting a number of items.? Investigating the members' answers in the questioning sample as items (indicators) after excluding some of the similar or repeated ones.On that respect, the researcher has concluded the items of the questionnaire in its initiative form, and it includes seven domains as well as (133) items.After checking the reliability and validity, it becomes consisting of (116) items distributed into seven domains/ The objectives domain has five criteria of 21 indicators, The objectives domain has four criteria of 21 indicators, The activity domain has four criteria of 20 indicators/ The evaluation domain includes three criteria and 11 indicators, The preparation and synthesis domain includes two criteria of seven indicators, and The language of the book, and its production domain includes two criteria with twenty two indicators, and finally, The photos and arts domain includes two criteria of 11 indicators.Moreover, the researcher has stated five alternatives for each indicator for the responding person to choose only one alternative; the alternatives are : The first one is (with a very high degree), the second one is (with a high degree), the third one is (with an intermediate degree), the fourth one is (with a low degree), and the fifth one is (with a very low degree).It is worth mentioning that the researcher has used suitable statistical ways throughout the processes of the research, and data treatment for that he has achieved; they are : Pearson correlation cofficient, Fisher formula, and the percentage weight.The researcher has achieved different and various conclusions, from which he has drawn the following points : 1. The Arabic Reading book for the fourth primary class has been the best one among the three books - the questioning sample of the research - for achieving the accepted level of quality criteria.2. The Arabic Language book of the fifth primary class has not been of an accepted and satisfactory level of having the quality criteria; it has achieved the middle level.3. The Arabic Language book of the sixth primary class has not been of quality criteria except in one of the seven domains.In addition, the researcher has stated the following recommendations : 1. Taking into consideration the scientific and technological development when conducting the Arabic Language Textbooks for the three primary levels.2. Improving the Arabic Language textbooks for the three primary stages and developing them in the light of the achievement of this study along with including the quality criteria.3. Achieving balance between the theoretical and practical aspects of the Arabic Language textbooks for the three primary stages.4. Including topics - that make the students aware of their rights and duties - in the Arabic Language textbooks.Consequently, the researcher has suggested adopting the following studies : 1. An evaluating study for the Arabic Language textbooks for the first three primary stages in the light of the quality criteria.2. An evaluating study for the provisions and Reading Books in the intermediate stage

Preparation Teacher's Guide of Computer intermediate school book according to learning styles.In order to verify the first research, we prepared the following questions : - - - What learning styles that should be available in content of books Computer for intermediate school? - What learning styles are included in the content of books Computer for intermediate school?Research community identified (all computer books for middle phase represented first middle grade and second middle grade book) were selected (Questions and activities of two book Computer for middle phase) as sample for research and research methodology descriptive and analytical approach were relayed. The application of research represented in two phases : The first stage represented to prepare analysis list of computer book content for the first and second medium grades according to analysis in a form to format(4 - MAT) for McCarthy four styles (imaginative, analytical, logical, dynamic) The total list pointers (53) indicator and then verify ,its validity and reliability where reliability coefficient ranged was (0.94) adopted the percentage of iterations as means of statistical research. while The second phase consisted prepare a Teacher's Guide Questions and activities for the book Computer intermediate stage in a form to format (4 - MAT) for McCarthy to learning styles into account the balance of the four styles in each chapter of two Computer books for middle school classes were defined general and specific objectives of the guide as well as identifying behavioral objectives for content Article three areas (knowledge, skills, emotional) for each chapter of the directory have been verified of its goodness.The results of analysis : - ? Disparity in the distribution of the four styles according to the model of format (4MAT) for McCarthy in the content of Computer book for intermediate school. The order of the four styles of two books was (logical, analytical, dynamic, imaginary) as descending order.? the general percentage to provide every style of learning styles in two computer books for middle first grade was (58.96%, 23.11%, 12.74%, 5.19%) of the styles (logical, analytical, dynamic, imaginative) respectively. ? The general percentage to provide every style of learning styles in the Computer book for middle second grade average was (60.70%, 17.41%, 15.92%, 5.97%) of the styles (logical, analytical, dynamic, imaginative), respectively The occurrences of the four styles in the book first grade average more than duplicates in the second grade.? Sovereignty logical style at all chapters of two computer book for the first and second medium grades, and receiving the first ranked in both books.? Scarcity of availability of some styles, for example, compared to other imaginative style in the second middle book of the average won the last three chapters ranked in the proportions (zero%, 1.94%, 7.32%) as well as dynamic style was ranked in the last couple of in the two chapters of the first grade average book The proportions (zero%, 1.67).The researcher recommendations : - - Need to develop content Computer books for middle school, according to McCarthy learning styles. - Provide a Teacher's Guide of Book Computer intermediate school

Building an educational program on the gradual entrance of sustainable development.2. Know the effectiveness of the tutorial material in the collection of sociology and development of lateral thinking among students fourth grade literature. To achieve the target Find researcher two approaches : the descriptive approach in the construction of educational and experimental approach to identify the effectiveness of the program in the tutorial in the collection of material sociology lateral thinking among students fourth grade literary development adopted.This research was limited to students in the fourth grade literary high schools and prep day for girls in Baghdad's Karkh Directorate of Education / third for the academic year 2015 - 2016. Researcher determined experimentally adopted a partial seizure (the control group) experimental group a posttest. The sample of research (84) female students from the fourth grade in junior high moral victory for girls, by distributors (42) students in the experimental group and 42 students in the control group. The parity between students of the two sets of conducting research in the variables (chronological age measured in months, the educational attainment of the parents, intelligence, lateral thinking, academic achievement in the previous year (2014 - 2015). He studied the researcher herself students two sets of research during the duration of the experiment, which lasted full academic year, and has prepared tools to measure the dependent variables, first was the achievement test which consisted of two questions : The first objective of the multiple choice be (30) paragraph test to measure levels (knowledge, understanding , application) and second pans consists of (20) items to measure the levels (analysis, installation, evaluation) of Bloom's Taxonomy. The second tool was the side test which consisted of (20) paragraph scale Applied the tools at the end of the experiment after it has been verified - khasaisma psychometric, and after analyzing the data using Altaia test for two independent samples (T - test) results showed the following : 1. There is a statistically significant difference between the average level students in the two sets of research achievement test, for the experimental group.2. There is a statistically significant difference between the average level students two sets of research in the development of lateral thinking, for the experimental group. In light of the search results researcher it recommended a number of conclusions and recommendations and proposals.

Abstract: يهدف البحث الحالي الى معرفة (اثر انموذجي كوسكروف والسقالات التعليمية في اكتساب مفاهيم علم النفس التربوي والتفكير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلبة كلية التربية) ولتحقيق هدفي البحث وضعت الباحثة الفرضيتين الصفريتين الاتيتين.1 - لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة احصائية عند مستوى | This study aims at investigating (the impact of kowskrof and the education scoffolds models in acquiring the concepts of educational psychology and beyond - knowledge thinking for the students of college of education), and for achieving the two objectives of the research, the researcher has stated the following two zero hypotheses : 1 - There is no difference of a statistical indication between the average of scores of the students in the first empirical group who have studied according to kowskrowf model, and the average of scores of the students in the second empirical group who have studied the same subject but using the educational scoffolds, and the average of scores of the students in the controlling group who have studied by using the traditional approach for the same topic in acquiring the scientific concepts. 2 - There is no difference of a statistical indication between the average of scores of the students in the first empirical group who have studied according to Kowskrowf model, and the average of scores of the students in the second empirical group who have studied the same subject but using the education scoffolds, and the average of scores of the students in the controlling group who have studied by using the traditional approach for the same topic concerning beyond - knowledge thinking. Chapter two includes a theoretical frame of the construction theory, Kowskrowf model, the educational scoffolds model, and beyond - knowledge thinking, while chapter tree includes previous studies and a balance among them. The researcher has relyed on the emoerical design of the partial controlling and the dimensional test as a design for the research. The researcher has intentionally chosen a sample of the second morning class student from Department of Education and psychological sciences at college of Edncation / Al - Mustansiryah University and College of Education/ Ibn Rushd for Humanities at University of Baghdad in the academic year (2015 - 2016) to be a field study for applying the current experiment. The sanple consists of (105) student [male & female] which inclindes empirical and controlling group. Applying the randon drawing way, the researcher has chosen section (B) to represent the first empirical group which has (35) students, and they have studied Educational psychology following the steps of kowskrowf model. While section (A) resemldes the second empirical group which has (35) students who have studied the same subject but following the steps of Educational scoffolds model. Because there is nothird section in the Department of Edncational & psychological sciences/ college of edncation/ Al - Mustansiryah University the researcher intends to choose the third section from the Depontment of Educational & psychological sciences/ Morining studies/ college of Education for Humanities as section (C)to resemble the controlling group which inclndes (35) students (male and female) who have studies the same topic by using the traditional approach. The two groups have equivalent concerning certain wariables : (age, intelligence, beyond - knowledgc thinking, acquiring cencepts). Then she [the researeher] has decided the scientific topic intended to be taught for the second stage students during a whole academic year which consists of (10 - 12) chapters for the Educational psychology for the academic year (215 - 2016). In the light of the content of syllabus, the researcher has designed (189) behavioral objectives covering the three domains (Definition, Distnction, and Application). The reseatcher has made use of the behavioral objectives in designing and writing the lesson plans for each group. Moreover, the researcher has designed of (90) items of objective guestions of the kind multiple choice with four uariables.The psychermetric characteristics of the test have been chected [It is resembled by the face validity, and content validity and its distinction affectbility and complexity and the affectability of the wrony alternatives. On the other have, the researcher has studied the three groups of the study herself, and the experinnent started on Monday (3rd of November, 2014) and it ended on Wednesday (5th May, 2015) which has been applied for the three group of the study, and for treating the data statistically, the researcher has used anova analysis and sheffe test for dimensional comparisous. The study has shown the following results : 1 - The excellence of the students in the first experimented group - who have been taught the Educational Psychiligy by using kowskrowf model - on the students of the second experimental group who have been taught the same subict but by using the educational scoffolds model in acqniring the concepts and beyond - knowledge thinking.2 - The excellence of the students in the first experimental group - who have studied Educational psychology by using kowskrowf model as well as the second experimental group students who have studied the same subject adopting the educational scofolds model - on the students of the controlling group who have studied the same subject by using the traditional approach in acquiring the concepts and beyoud - knowledge thinking.In the light of the results, the researcher has stated the following conclusins and recommendations : The conclusions : 1 - The reliability of the modern teaching models that are derived from the constructing theory and problemsolving strategy in the educational process has a great influence on raising the achievement level and enhancing the thinking skills.2 - Teaching with the use of kowskrowf and Edncational ecofolds models has agneater effect than the traditional approach concerning as for as raising the students' achievement level is concerned.3 - The excellence of the two models is not only limited to the raising of the achievement level in Educational psychology, but also it has contributed in enhanciy beyond - knoulledge thinking skills when compared with the traditional approach.4 - The implementation of the two models steps has motivated the studrnts and inctrased cooperation among them, and participation when compared to the traditional approach.Recommenlations : 1 - The reliability of the teaching model which apply the constructive theory - like kowskrowf & educational scoffolds models in teaching Edsucational psychology and the other subjects as well for what have been found out throght out this study and its great effect on the achienement level and begond - knowledge thinking.2 - Refraining from the traditional ways in teaching Educational psychology and making use of kowskrowf and Educational secoffolds models for they contribute in raising the student's achierement level and beyoud - knowledge thinking.?Suggestions : 1 - Accomplishing a similar study for knowing the impact of kowsrowf and the Edncational scoffolds models in enhancing other kinds of thinking like : the scientific thinking, critical thinking, and the creative thinking.2 - Accomplishing a comparative study between kowskrowf model, Educational scoffolds model and the other teaching models to know the best.3 - Accomplishing a similar study to know the impact of kowskrowf model and Education scoffolds model in acquiring and the achievement of other subjects and the study stages for checking their affectaility.

Abstract: Environmental studies have gained great interest after a great deal of warning by international organizations. The ecological system is a matrix of integrated interactions within a specific environment.To know the properties of each element in this system is very important to keep the balance of.the ecological system and to rationally deal with these elements to avoid any deterioration.,~ Changing the essence of these elements quantitatively and qualitatively leads to a disturbance of relations between the elements of the system which is called the ecological imbalance.Man has played an important role in making ecological problems which lead to the destruction of the environment that decreases the reproducibility of the earth.The population explosion 1s one main factor behind the environmental deterioration so rapidly.Also, the negative aspects of the industrial revolution and the absence of the environmental planning are good factors. Man was able to manipulate nature for his benefit without paying attention to the severe consequences of this maltreatment. In this case education plays a crucial role to correct human behavior and provide him with the necessary skills. Environmental awareness could be a good course in and out of school. Aims of the studyThe study aims at the following : 1. Constructing an environmental awareness scale in the students of the departments of geography in Iraq.2. Applying this scale on the targeted students.3. Whether or not there are statistically significant difference concerning the scale.4. Whether or not there are significant differences according to the 1 sex factor.5. Whether or not there are significant differences according the subjects achievement.6. Whether or not there are significant differences according to the environment variable. 7. Whether or not there are significant differences according to the college variable.Limitations of the study : The study is limited to the follovving : 1. Department of Geography - colleges of Arts and Education - Universities of Baghdad, Al - Mustansiriya, Basrah, Mosul and Kufa.2. Curriculum related to the environment. sample of : A. Departments of Geography staff in point number 1.B. Fourth year students.C. Post graduate students.4. Academic year 2003 - 2004.Procedure1. The Sample The sample of the study is represented by the fourth - year students, postgraduate students and some professors of the departments of geography - colleges of Education and Arts in five Iraqi universities. This includes 500 students, 24 postgraduatestudents and /4/ staff members. 2. Tools The researcher has adopted two tools : Questionnaire and interview.3. Validity and Reliabilitv The researcher has adopted the techniques of validity and reliability. As far as reliability, the researcher adopted the split group and test, re - test techniques.4. The final Administration After checking validity and reliability, the final administration was conducted on the main sample of the study which includes : 377 fourth - year students, 24 post - graduate students and 85 staff of the dept. of geography to measure their environmental awareness.A link should be found between science and cause.5. Continuation of environmental information supply should be achieved.6. Films and slides on the problems of the environment should te supplied to achieve a link between theory and practice. 7. The principles of environmental education should be set up from primary classes upwards.The researcher has suggested a similar study on high schobl students and a comparative study between this one and similar studies in some other countries. The scale also can be given to higjh school teachers to measure their environmental avvareness

Abstract: The research titled "The Strategy of Evaluation the performance of administrational Leaderships of Technical Institutes foundation" , as it includes the community of research the leaders of the foundations (Deans, Acting Deans, Head of Scientific Departments at Technical Institutes and Colleges as their number totaled ( 11, 20, 113, respectively). It is distributed on 180 leaders of Institutes and 36 leaders of Technical Colleges.For the sake of achieving the objectives of the research, it is accredited eight hypothesis discussed in the text of the literature. The scale of study is prepared upon the information of the open questionnaire in delight of the experience and readings of the another in this field which institutes four main tasks (scientific, Education, Administration and - behavior) and subject the scale for test (4) through submitting it before specialist for the sake of arbitrary.The research submitted a group of recommendation represented by strategical thinking methodology prepare special model to evaluate the performance of leaderships and anticipate these leaderships in specialized courses, correlate the findings of evaluation with the concept of reward and punish accredited the publicity of results of evaluation and create special unit perform the another presented some suggestions including making similar studies by Iraqi Universities by appending other variables in similar studies. Also, building open consoling program and pursual for the next years to identify the range of variation in performance.

Abstract: The human thinking remams as one of the scientific exciting subjects, the excitement aspect exists in its inclusion and its, appearance in one integral unit, changeable curing the passing ages. So, the education has a basic aim that is the growing of mind in creasing creativity. The human creativity is to bring the genuine of thoughts which there is no one precedes the individual, and these thoughts must have the full serious ness, and the ability offlexibility and solving problems. So, from this aspect, the human interest in creativity came. Whether in advanced states as result to problem of these societies, or to move them to a cultural level, high in regard to the previous level for each nation, through adoption of creation of all humanity. Power and create its invention power so many of the educators, the specialists call to the care to inventors, the responsible, the 1aspects, and confinnation to the necessity of finding a sufficient references for helping on education and growing of invention to them for they are the nucleus of advancement and rising of home and humanity.The need has became calling to the interest in curricula and developing then, aiming at improvement of thought production during programs, subjects, and devices of education which cause to excitement and : readiness of invention power to reach to a best level of gift. It is necessary to explore these power and improve them through an objective device in order to put the action and answers and knowing the extent of the effect of psychological bases to curricula on such a type of thinking during the building of a device to such psychological bases and their ' j power extinct on creation of this thinking a side from other change that have a clear effect on the intentional thinking.This study is considered as the first, scientific field study, we try to expose the power of thinking of invention and the relation with psychological bases of curricula, whether in Iraq or Arab homeland in respect to the researcher understanding, so, i intended the following research : 1. Building a standard to expose on creatively thinking and its, measure.2. Building a standard to expose on the psychological bases and their measures.3. Finding a relation between the creatively thinking and the psychological bases.4. Knowing on the differences between the in creatively thinking and the sex variant type and the parents learning. As for to achieve the aims of research, the researcher tried to follow i the scientific way building the two devices : the creatively thinkingcriterion, she collected the paragraphs of criterion from the literatures and previous studies which has a relation with creatively thinking, then the number of paragraphs is defined to ( 19) paragraphs with in secondary tests, then the paragraphs are submitted to the committee of experts, and I after modification and jointing, two paragraph is omitted. I Them the criterion is applied to a sample of students of (500) students (male & female) to submit the criterion paragraphs to a statistical analysis, that specific data were prepared for answer. After that, according to the truth in outside quality and to the truth of building and counting the distinctive forces and the internal coordination, as a result of this style, l have excluded (4) paragraphs whether the paragraphs can not enjoyed with a distinctive force or the relation of them is weak in respect to the whole degree then the number of paragraphs, of the creatively thinking standard became (13) paragraph.The second criterion which I have collected its paragraphs during an exploring design open to the secondary school students a side from, the collection of paragraphs of literary studies and the previous one. The researcher have get (40) paragraphs. Putting to them a triple estimated scale (accord to, seldom, accord not to). Then the paragraphs are exposed to a committee of arbitrators who took to amend some paragraphs and remaining on all paragraphs. After that, the criterion was applied to a group of students for the purpose of statistical analysis and counting of the distinctive force in power fainting on distinction or internal coordination. Three paragraphs have been excluded, which participated in power weakences on distinction or internal coo rdination. So, the criterionhas been formed from (37) paragraph. Which are full of demonstrative truth and the truth of building. And for counting the fixation of two criterions, I have depended on the way of test repetition, resulting the two devices became ready to apply.After that, the measure of power on creatively thinking and pyschological bases of curricula by the way of applying two devices on group of ( 400) students (male and female), by using the statistical analysis, the researcher has the following results : 1. There are differences of statistical reference between the average of sample in power criterion on creatively thinking and the thesis average. 2. There are differences of statistical reference between the sample average m the psyschological bases standard of curricula of preparatory stage in respect to their students.There are not differences of statistical reference between creativelythinking and sex.4. There are difference of statistical reference between the creatively thinking and the branch students.5. There are differences of statistical reference between the power on creatively thinking and the parents learning. 6. The necessity to take care of the creators.The most advices that the research wrote : 1. The necessity to take care of the creators and to follow them became the states of our world directed towards the growing of creative education.2. Take care of the curricula, the educational programs and the review of the traditional courses, which depend on, learn by heart and speaking.3. Advising the educators and teachers to give a freedom of thinking to students in education stages and universities. The important suggestions : 1. Researcher used statistical methods (Cronbach's alpha equation, and the weighted average, the weight percentile, and Chi square test).The major results of the research are as follows : 1. noon standard (allow the program curriculum and expertise and field applied to the interaction and communication and deal with a variety of lecturers, teachers, students and pupils) first prize in central weighted (2.39) and weight percentage (79.69%).2. He received the standard (the program has a calendar system and exams can collect data for studying them with respect to the degree of scientific qualification to practice the profession and their performance after graduation, including helping to feedback from the calendar and testing programs) on the second place of central casting (2.29%) and weight percentage (76.33%).3. Standard won (recognizing students prepare for the main concepts and research tools teacher education program, and the foundations of educational specialization and professional skills) rank third in central weighted (2.12) and weight percentage (70.62%).4. won standard (featuring faculty members with a high level of qualifications and the best professional practices in scientific research and community service, teaching program works in a systematic way to regularly evaluate their performance and facilitate continuous professional growth opportunities.) Fourth place in central weighted (2.11) percentage and weight ( 70.36%).5. He received standard (owning a program of leadership and authority and the budget, personnel and facilities, resources, and information technology to achieve the desired objectives) rank fifth in central weighted (2.06) and weight percentage (6.68%).6. The standard (the program through the principle of partnership with the Ecole Pratique planning and implementation of field goods and clinical practices (through practical education) to students educated) has got the center - weighted (1.75) and weight percentage (58.33%). In light of the results of the research, the researcher concluded a number of conclusions, including : 1. that the preparation of special education teachers in the College of Basic Education as a whole is an investigator is required in the application of the adoption of the preparation of special education teachers from the global academic accreditation bodies programs standards for the level of the program.2. achieved a fourth criterion to the level required in the application of the adoption of the preparation of special education teachers appreciated good program standards, because it is within a degree of the investigation level with the weighted average (2.35) and weight percentile (77.79%) adopted by the researcher to determine the level of application of the criteria.3. noon standard principle of partnership with the Ecole Pratique planning and implementation of field goods and clinical practices (through practical education) to students educated, it is the weakest among the criteria.4. There are no statistically significant difference at level ( 0.05) between the mean scores of the first experimental group, which is taught according to the self questioning; the second experimental group, which is taught according to think pair - share strategy and those of the control group, which is taught conventionally in European History subject achievement.2. There are no statistically significant difference at level ( 0.05) between the mean scores of the first experimental group, which is taught according to the self questioning; the second experimental group, which is taught according to think pair - share strategy and those of the control group, which is taught conventionally in testing problem solving ability. The two Experimental Groups and Control Group Posttest Partial Design has been used. The sample of the study has been intentionally chosen and it consists of 122 male and female third year students at the Department of History/College of Education./University of Al - Qadisiya. Participants have been distributed into three groups. The first experimental group includes 41male and female students, which is taught according to the self questioning. the second experimental group include 40 male and female students, which is taught according to think pair - share strategy, whereas the control group consist of 40 male and female students, which is taught according to the conventional method. Equalization has been made by the researcher himself among the three groups with respect to the variables (age, intelligence, previous achievement, problem solving test).After that, the researcher determined the instruments of the study which are : the scientific material, forming the behavioural aims in the light of Bloom’s six levels. Preparing daily lesson plans,20 plans for each group. Furthermore, two instruments have been constructed : the first is an achievement test includes a multiple - choice test which consists of 40 items, and a subjective test which consists of 10 items. Such test has been ensured with regard to its (face and content validity), item discrimination, item difficulty and its reliability. The second instrument is the problem solving test which consists of 30 items distributed according to six abilities (sensation of problem, determination of problem, getting data from its better sources, proposing hypotheses, hypotheses validity test ,decision - making).The test has also been ensured concerning its (face and construct validity), item discrimination and reliability. The researcher himself taught the three groups. The experiment started at the beginning of the first term of 2015 - 2016 and lasted for 14 weeks, two lectures a week for each group. At the end of the experiment, the three groups were submitted to achievement test that has been applied on Wednesday, 13th of Jan.2016 Then, the problem solving test has been applied on Thursday, 14th of Jan. 2016.Data have been analyzed by using SPSS. The results show the following : 1. The performance of the first experimental group is better than that of the control group in the achievement test of the European History subject.2. The performance of second experimental group is better than that of the control group in the achievement test of the European History subject.3. The performance of second experimental group is better than that of the first experimental group in the achievement test of the European History subject.4. The performance of first experimental group is better than that of the control group in the problem solving test. 5. The performance of second experimental group is better than that of the control group in the problem solving test.6. The performance of second experimental group is better than that of the first experimental group in the problem solving test. In the light of the results obtained, the researcher has come up with the following conclusions : the self questioning and think pair - share strategies on third - year history students' Achievement of European History in College of Education is effective, the self questioning and think pair - share strategies on the problem solving ability is effective as well. In the light of the findings of the present study, are made to enrich the process of teaching writing : it is necessary to encourage instructors to adopt the self questioning and think pair - share strategies in teaching Modern European History subject, it is necessary to train university instructors on using modern methods in teaching, especially those methods that have been proved to be effective in instructional process; syllabus designers are recommended to be acquainted with theses and dissertations and apply their contents on curriculum for the sake of getting generations that are able to create ,invent and discover, and solve problems that society encounters and find suitable solutions for them. Building on the present study, further studies are suggested to be conducted : a similar study can be conducted on other stages (primary, intermediate, preparatory), a study can be carried out to investigate the impact self - questioning and think pair - share strategies on other variables such as (motivation, tendency, attitude, critical thinking, historical thinking, and creative thinking).

The researcher depended on the descriptive approach in terms of actions for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the study. Society may be the current study of The academic teachers of colleges of education for the Humanities and Pure sciences at Basra University, and The academic teachers of Humanities and Sciences Pure at the University of Dhi Qar, and the College of Education at the University of Misan, totaling (700) teachers, and the research sample core composed of (442) teachers distribued among colleges of education at the University of Basra and Dhi Qar.And formed search tool built by the same researcher (139) indicator - a paragraph - distributed among the six elements (fields) Approach : (objectives, educational content, methods and manners of teaching, teaching aids, educational activities, educational calendar).The study tool was applied after extracted from it all virtual honesty and sincerity of construction, stability in a way re - testing, which amounted to (0.86) and the method of variation analysis Cronbach Alpha, which amounted to (0.88).Hare used the following to extract Results : packets Statistical for Social Sciences (SPSS), circles calculations, standard deviations, percentages, the weighted average, the Pearson correlation coefficient , chi square , the equation of one - way analysis of variance, and the equation of Alpha Cronbach and test Altaia for one sample and two equal independent samples and tow equal independent samples.The study concluded in the light of its goals the following results : 1. The general rule for members of a sample study on the availability of comprehensive quality standards in the curriculum of the colleges of education and all its components were negative judgment.2. The general provision for members of the study sample was positive about the availability of comprehensive quality standards on a racist (teaching - methods and teaching aids) as independent elements, though coexist in a limited way, and negatively towards elements (educational goals - educatioal Content Altahlmy - educational activities - educational calendar).3. Identify the strengths and weaknesses in the level of availability of comprehensive quality standards in every element of the curriculum elements.4. statistically significant differences do not exist in the general provision for teachers on the availability of the overall quality in the curriculum due to the variable of academic specialization standards.5. statistically significant differences do not exist in the general provision for teachers on the availability of the overall quality in the curriculum due to the variable of academic department standards.This researcher has concluded a number of conclusions, including : The curriculum of the colleges of education is not a good level of effectiveness, because of the weakness of the availability of comprehensive quality standards in most of its elements. There are no differences of statistical significance at the level (0.05) between the average score of the outcome of students who study according to the (negotiation strategy) and the average score of the outcome of students who study according to the regular method in the achievement posttest prepared for this purpose.2. There are no differences of statistical significance at the level (0.05) between the average score of the outcome of students who study according to the (cognitive apprenticeship strategy) and the average score of the outcome of students who study according to the regular method in the achievement posttest prepared for this purpose. 3. There are no differences of statistical significance at the level (0.05) between the average score of the outcome of students who study according to the (negotiation strategy) and the average score of the outcome of students who study according to (cognitive apprenticeship strategy) in the achievement posttest prepared for this purpose.4. There are no differences of statistical significance at the level (0.05) between the average score of curiosity of students who study according to the (negotiation strategy) and the average score of curiosity of students who study according to the regular method in the scale prepared for this purpose.5. There are no differences of statistical significance at the level (0.05) between the average score of curiosity of students who study according to the (cognitive apprenticeship strategy) and the average score of curiosity of students who study according to the regular method in the scale prepared for this purpose.6. There are no differences of statistical significance at the level (0.05) between the average score of curiosity of students who study according to the (negotiation strategy) and the average score of curiosity of students who study according to (cognitive apprenticeship strategy) in the scale prepared for this purpose. The researcher followed the experimental approach and selected an experimental design with a partial control (two experimental groups and on control group), with the posttest and the curiosity scale. The researcher also chose the research sample randomly from (Al - Rafidain school), which is one of the official day schools in Babil province, to become the field to execute the current research experiment. The final research sample involved (94) students after eliminating the failed students for the academic year 2015 - 2016, at (32) for the first experimental group which studied according to the cognitive apprenticeship strategy and the second experimental group which studied according to the negotiation strategy, while the third control group which studied according to the regular method involved (30) students. The researcher equalized among his three groups with the variables (the previous outcome, IQ test, the previous knowledge, age calculated by months, parents qualifications, curiosity) and there were no differences of statistical significance among the groups after identifying the scientific subject of included in the experiment period and represented in the (content of the subject of Islamic Arabic history for the second intermediate grade for the academic year 2015 - 2016). Afterwards, the behavioral purposes were identified and formulated in accordance with the three levels of Bloom classification in the cognitive aspect (Knowledge - Understanding - Application) and were presented later to the experts and referees; the final number was (223) behavioral purposes. The researcher also prepared teaching plans for the topics included in the experiment, submitted some of them to the experts and referees and edited them according to their remarks.The researcher studied the three research groups and at the end of experiment which lasted one academic year, he prepared an achievement test containing (40) items and presented it to the experts to give their opinions and show its alleged validity. This test was applied over an exploratory sample composed of (150) from Al - Nujoom high school and applied over the basic sample after dealing with its data statistically, extracting the coefficient of items difficulty, its ability to differentiate and the affectivity of its alternatives and extracting its reliability coefficient. The researcher also prepared a curiosity scale depending on literature and consisted of (30) items divided over (6) domains. This scale was submitted to a group of experts, applied over an exploratory sample of (150) students and eventually applied over the basic research sample after dealing with its data statistically, and verifying its construction reliability, items connection and their relation with each domain, the overall score of the scale, scale reliability and the strength of differentiating the items. After processing the data statistically by using the proper statistical means such as (one - way analysis of variance, Scheffe'e test to know the direction of differences among the research groups), the results showed that students of both of the groups which studied according to the (negotiation strategy) and (cognitive apprenticeship strategy) have surpassed the students group which studied according to the regular method in terms of the variables of curiosity and the outcome of Islamic Arabic history subject for the second intermediate stage.In the light of the results reached by the researcher, it appeared that using negotiation and cognitive apprenticeship strategies in teaching history subject to the second intermediate students have contributed in increasing their outcome and their curiosity.The researcher have recommended several recommendation (the necessity of training the teachers of social studies on using the negotiation and cognitive apprenticeship strategies, encourage them to use constructive theory strategy and pay attention to the inner motives of the students such as curiosity). The researcher also recommended conducting other researches similar to the current one on different academic stages and other subjects to verify the validity of the negotiation and cognitive apprenticeship strategies and other variables besides the outcome and curiosity.

Abstract: The present research aims at identifying the impact of Appleton Model and Systemic Approach on acquiring grammatical concepts and developing systemic thinking among fourth preparatory scientific class students. In order to verify this aim, the researcher has formulated the following two main null hypotheses : 1. First null hypothesis : There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05), among the average scores of the first experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of the second experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Systemic Approach and the average scores of the control group who are studying grammar by the classical method, in the post - teaching test of acquiring grammatical concepts. 2. Second null hypothesis : There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05), among the average scores of the first experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of the second experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Systemic Approach and the average scores of the control group who are studying grammar by the classical method, in the post - teaching test of systemic thinking. To achieve the aim of the research, the researcher adopted the experimental design of partial - control, (two experimental groups and one control group). The researcher randomly selected three sections of the fourth preparatory class in Alfayhaa Preparatory School in the Directorate of Education of Babil. The sample was composed of (101) students, (34) students represented the first experimental group, (33) students represented the second experimental group and (34) students represented the control group. The researcher has extracted the correlation coefficient among the three groups according to the following variables : (students' age by months, students' mid - year grades in Arabic language, Raven's intelligence test, parents' education, and students' scores in the pre - teaching test of systemic thinking). The researcher taught the three research samples seven topics of the Arabic grammar textbook of the fourth preparatory class in the second semester. These topics are : (imperative verb, attribution of the incomplete verb to the pronouns, di - transitive verbs, functions of the infinitive, Inchoative and predicate, Kana Wa Akhawatuha and Inna Wa Akhawatuha). The experiment lasted for the whole period of the second semester 2015 - 2016. The research prepared two tools; the first of which is (Acquiring grammatical concepts test), it is composed of 21 items. The other tool is (Systemic Thinking test), it is composed of 28 items. The items of two tests were objective ones of the multiple choice of four alternatives. Both face and content validity of the tests were verified. Items difficulty coefficient, Item discrimination, and the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives have been extracted. The stability of the two tests items was obtained by the split - half procedure and the extracted correction of the stability coefficient was obtained by Spearman - Brown formula. The value extracted stability coefficient of the first test was (0.767) and (0.82) for the second test. The researcher used the following statistical tools (Single discrimination coefficient, chi square, Pearson correlation coefficient, items difficulty, ease and discrimination coefficients, Scheffé's method, T - Test for dependent samples. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 16 was used. After processing the data statistically, the researcher concluded the following result : 1. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the first experimental group who studied grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of students of the second experimental group who studied grammar according to systemic approach, and the average scores of students of the control group who studied grammar according to the classical method, in the post - teaching test of acquiring grammatical concepts.2. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the first experimental group who studied grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of students of the control group who studied grammar according to the classical method, in the post - teaching test of acquiring grammatical concepts, for the first experimental group in favor of the control group. 3. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the second experimental group who studied grammar according to Systemic Approach and the average scores of students of the control group who studied grammar according to the classical method, in the post - teaching test of acquiring grammatical concepts, for the second experimental group in favor of the control group. 4. There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05), among the average scores of the first experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of the second experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Systemic Approach in the post - teaching test of acquiring grammatical concepts.5. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the first experimental group who studied grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of students of the second experimental group who studied grammar according to systemic approach, and the average scores of students of the control group who studied grammar according to the classical method, in the post - teaching test of systemic thinking for the second experimental group in favor of the other two groups.6. There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05), among the average scores of the control group who studied grammar according to the classical method in both pre - teaching and post - teaching tests of systemic thinking. 7. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the first experimental group who studied grammar according to Appleton Model in both pre - teaching and post - teaching tests of systemic thinking for the post - teaching test. 8. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the second experimental group who studied grammar according to systemic approach in both pre - teaching and post - teaching tests of systemic thinking for the post - teaching test. In the light of these results, the researcher has come up with a number of conclusions : 1. Adopting Appleton Model and Systemic Approach in teaching has contributed in increasing the students' interaction with the scientific material which resulted in increasing their acquisition of the grammatical concepts in comparison with the classical method. 2. Teaching according to Appleton Model and Systemic Approach positively impacted the students taking over the responsibility of their learning which resulted in increasing their acquisition of the grammatical concepts and systemic thinking. 3. The procedures of teaching according to Appleton Model and Systemic Approach are in full agreement with what is emphasized in modern education by making the student the axel of the learning - teaching process.4. Appleton Model and Systemic Approach are applicable in teaching Arabic language grammar in secondary and preparatory for they are convenient to the students' level and available school facilities. The researcher recommended the following : 1. Adopting Appleton Model and Systemic Approach in teaching Arabic language grammar in the fourth preparatory scientific class.2. Organizing workshops and symposiums for Arabic language teachers to increase their awareness of the new theories of teaching to enable them employ some of the strategies and teaching techniques of these theories to achieve the educational objectives of teaching Arabic language.3. Paying attention to the arrangement of the grammar textbooks depending on accurate planning and logical sequencing of grammatical concepts. The researcher suggested the following studies to complete the present one : 1. Conducting a similar study to the present one in different study stages (primary, intermediate, university).2. Conducting a similar study to the present one in other branches of Arabic language (literature, composition, dictation, eloquence and criticism). 3. Conducting studies that involve strategies and teaching techniques that contribute in acquiring grammatical concepts and systemic thinking like : (problem - based learning strategy, V - shape teaching strategy, Zahoric Constructive Model, Novak's Humanistic Constructivist Model)

Identifying and comparing the concepts of human rights included in the history book for the sixth preparatory class/literary branch in Iraq and its counterparts in some Arab countries. Identifying the common concepts of democracy in the history book for the sixth preparatory class/literary branch in Iraq and its counterparts in some Arab countries.Identifying the common concepts of human rights in the history book for the sixth preparatory class/literary branch in Iraq and its counterparts in some Arab countries. The researcher followed the descriptive approach in the current study, and then chose the method of content analysis, because it is appropriate to achieve the objective of the study. The study population consisted of the history book for the sixth preparatory class/literary branch in Iraq and its counterparts in some Arab countries, and the students of the sixth preparatory class/literary branch in Iraq. The study sample included the whole content of the four history books which has (745) pages and ( 542) students.The researcher prepared a list of the concepts of democracy and human rights and presented it to the experts to evaluate its validity. As for the stability of the tool of analysis, it was extracted in two ways; the first was the re - analysis by the researcher himself over a period of time, and the second way was by two external analysts hired by the researcher. Co - efficiency was very high which met the purpose of the study. The statistical tools used in the study included repetitions, percentages, and Holsti Formula. The researcher also built a test to see how much the Iraqi students acquire the common concepts in the four books. The reliability of this test was measured by the Split - Half Method which was (0.872) after being corrected by Gittman formula. In its final form, the test consisted of(48) MCQ items whose face and content validity and internal consistency and discriminatory power and the efficiency of the wrong alternatives were measured by the Split - Half Method which was (0.922) after being corrected by Gittman formula by using the SPSS software. The number of the concepts of democracy and human rights being analyzed in the four books is (3001) concepts (785) of which were concepts of democracy and (2216) were concepts of human rights. The Egyptian book has the greatest number of these concepts; it included (1077) concepts which make (35.888%). The Emirati book came in the second place, it included (830) concepts which make (27.6575%). The Iraqi book came in the third place, it included (769) concepts which make (25.624%). The Jordanian book came in the last place, it included (325) concepts which make (10.829%). The number of the mutual concepts of democracy and human rights in the four history books is (16), (6) of which were concepts of democracy and (10) were concepts of human rights. Analysis of the results have shown that the number of ideas and their distribution is (2862) in the four books. The history book for the third secondary class/literary branch in Egypt came in the first place; it included (1032) ideas which make (36.058%). The history book for the twelfth class in the UAE came in the second place, it included (818) ideas which make (28.581%). While the history book for the sixth preparatory class literary branch in Iraq came in the third place; it included (718) ideas which make (25.087 %). The history book at the secondary stage literary section of the two levels III and IV in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan came in the last place; it included (294) ideas which make ( 10.272 % ).After the researcher has applied the test of the acquisition of the mutual concepts of democracy and human rights on the (542) students. He corrected their responses to the items of the test. He, then, processed the results statistically. Results have shown that the calculated T - Value is (3.042) which is higher than the tabulated T - Value which is (1.960) at (541) degree of freedom and (0.05) level of significance, which indicates the existence of statistically significant differences between the SMA and medium - premise and in favor of the largest value (premise average) which means members of the sample acquisition of the concepts of democracy and human rights is weak.In the light of the results, the researcher recommends a number of recommendations : 1. Instructing designers and authors of the four history books to work on promoting the strengths of dealing with and displaying the quality and quantity of the concepts of democracy and human rights and finding solutions for the weaknesses of dealing with the concepts that were not found in the books.2. Diversifying the sources of the concepts of democracy and human rights for the students besides the textbook. The teacher is a role model and school libraries, and means of audio - visual media, the global network of information internet provide effective support to these gains.3. The authors of history books should add a question or more to the questions that follow the chapters or topics that address one of the concepts of democracy and human rights which urges the student to think, wonder, inquire and investigate.As a completion for this study the researcher suggests to conduct researches and studies including : - 1. A comparative study of the history book for sixth - grade literary equivalents in other Arab countries (Gulf or Maghreb or African) in the concepts of democracy and human rights contained therein.2. A balanced study between the history books for the preparatory stage in Iraq and the history books in the counterpart stage in the Islamic countries.3. Conduct a study to measure the awareness of teachers of history in the preparatory stage of the concepts of democracy and human rights are included in the history books.4. Conduct a study on the effectiveness of a suggested educational program for the acquisition of the concepts of democracy and human rights which are included in a history book for sixth - grade literary in Iraq.

The researcher has selected randomly section (A) to represent the experimental group and section (B) to represent control group where experimental group has studied the scientific concepts by using the strategy of creative drama and control group studied scientific concepts by using traditional method. The equivalence has been used between the two groups including the following variables (age time by months , intelligence , previous knowledge , parent education).To conduct the experiment , the researcher has specify (20) concepts within three units ( first , second , third) out of the textbook of sciences for fifth grade primary school.The behavioral objectives have been drawn up by three levels of scientific concepts according to processes of its acquisition (concept definition , concept discrimination , concept application). These objectives has come to (60) , the items have come to (60 ) ones , the researcher has made sure of the validity and reliability , measure of coefficient of difficulty of items by using special formulae for each.The researcher also has found the coefficient of test validity by using partial fragmentation and by using Pearson correlation coefficient and it has been corrected by Spareman and Brown. After completing the experiment the scientific concept acquisition test has been used on both groups and the data have been processed statistically by using (T - Test) for two independent samples. The results show that the experimental group has excelled on control group.In the light of the above result , the researcher has come to relevant conclusion , recommendations and suggestions for further reading.
