Abstract: هدف هذا البحث الىتحليل محتوى كتب العلوم في المرحلة الابتدائية وفقا لابعاد التنمية المستدامة للعام الدراسي (2015 - 2016). ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم بناء قائمة بابعاد التنمية المستدامة الواجب تضمينها في كتب العلوم في المرحلة الابتدائية، بعد الاطلاع على مجموعة م | The aim of this research is to analyze the content of science textbooks at the elementary level, according to the dimensions of sustainable development for the academic year (2015 - 2016). To achieve this goal has been to build a list with dimensions of sustainable development to be included in science textbooks in primary school, after reviewing a number of researches and studies, in order to have a liets of other sustainable development dimension that in cludedsocial, economic and environmental in its first draft which consisted of (63) sub - divided issues divided between the three dimension specialists in curriculum and teaching methods, and thus the menu consisted in its final form (55) sub - issue. Then analyzed the researcher content of science textbooks in the elementary stage in the light of the list that has been built, and included a content analysis of three books by (478) page, and adopted the idea and unit for recording and repetition unit of the census, have been certified for analysis by a random sample of it presented to the arbitrators was carried out and all of them the validity of the analysis, and the use of Holsti equation has been the stability analysis account agreement with analysts outside and with the researcher herself, and the most important findings of the researcher's book Science for grade III primary is the most book addressed to the dimensions of sustainable development, as happened on the percentage (42.04%) of (66 ) again, science book for second grade primary in second place came by (32.48%) of (55) again, while the science book first grade elementary least attention to the dimensions of sustainable development as it happened on the percentage (25.48%) of (40) again. In light of the search results researcher recommended a number of recommendations including : 1. Attention sub - neglected issues and work to be included in science textbooks for the primary stage.2. Building program in accordance with the dimensions of sustainable development for primary school students.The researcher has proposed an update to this study several proposals, including : 1.The need for a teacher's guide includes dimensions of sustainable development, which should seek to reinforce the students.2. Teacher training on the modalities and methods of development dimensions of sustainable development when pupils.

And chose a researcher sample of (500) individual students from colleges of education in Iraq of the total (687) students and students, and included tests (60) paragraph in the article as, f) 30) paragraph in the material exchange, and (30) paragraph in the article Rhetoric , and (30) paragraph in the article dictation, type of multiple - choice, has achieved a researcher from the sincerity test, and persistence, and the power of discrimination to paragraphs and coefficient of difficulty, and effectiveness of alternatives at fault, then it is applied after the presentation to the professors and specialists in the field of methods of teaching Arabic , and Educational Psychology, professors and Arabic Language Department, and after analyzing the data using samples t - test for one sample, and Pearson correlation coefficient, the study yielded the following results : • There is no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the average theoretical achievement test (grammar, and morphological, and rhetoric, and the spell (and the arithmetic average of the research sample. In light of the results reached by the researcher can be concluded as follows : 1 - that the level of students in the Arabic language departments, in the colleges of education were not at the required level in the material (as, drainage, and rhetoric). 2 - failure of the traditional style of presentation materials as, drainage, and Rhetoric in achieving the objectives of the rule. 3 - as a lack of knowledge of teaching, and exchange, and the rhetoric of modern ways of teaching. The researcher recommended a number of recommendations, including : 1 - adoption of tools in the study of the four calendar teaching students the Arabic language sections in the way, and exchange, and rhetoric, and spelling. 2 - reliance in teaching methods that raise students' inclinations and desires, and make them positive elements, and increase the motivation to study art. 3 - open sessions to teach Arabic language departments in colleges of education, to provide them with all the developments in their field of information and developments. In the light of our consideration of teaching skills have three important elements of skills are discernible : Knowledge, Decision - making, and Action,The problem of the study - Not all classroom teaching skills can be checked by a checklist as the method followed by our researchers in Iraq. We have certain pre and post teaching skills that need to be seeked from the teachers and they has to answer questionnaires about them. - The study attempts to describe the real situation in our colleges. This study aims at : 1 - Finding out classroom teaching skills employed by Iraqi EFL university teachers. 2 - Finding out classroom teaching skills employed by Iraqi EFL university teachers according to their specializations.3 - Finding out classroom teaching skills employed by Iraqi EFL university teachers according to their years of experience.The population of the present study includes Iraqi EFL university teachers at the University of Baghdad who are teaching at the departments of English language during the academic year 2014 - 2015 in the Colleges of Education Ibn Rashd for Humane Sciences, Education for Woman, Arts, and languages. Three instruments have been used in the present study : an observation checklist and two questionnaire.The observation checklist is adopted from the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign and consists of seven domains with 54 items in total. The second instrument is a self - evaluation questionnaire adopted from the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign and consists of 22 domains with 89 items in total. The third instrument is a questionnaire constructed by the researcher to measure the situation at the Iraqi colleges at departments of English language. The questionnaire consists of 24 domains with 224 items in total. The validity and reliability of the three instruments have been achieved. The result of the present study reveal the following : 1 - The comparison in the specialization variable in the observation checklist shows that the linguist specialization teachers have been better in items When appropriate, a distinction was made Between Factual material and opinions , Made explicit the relationship between today's and other aspects of the course. ………ect.The literature specialization teachers have been better in Presented a brief overview of the content , Periodically summarized the most important ideas, the ELT specialization teachers have been better in Asked questions to see what the students knew about the lecture topic, ….2 - The comparison in the years of experience variable in the observation checklist shows that the teachers of 1 - 10 years of experience employed When appropriate, a distinction was made Between Factual material and opinions, and Asked probing questions if a student's answer was incomplete or superficial, teachers skills while 11 - 20 years of experience teachers employed Defined new term, concepts and principles teaching skill. In terms of the teachers with more than 20 years of experience, they employed Stated the purpose of the class session teaches skill.3 - In terms of the teachers' self - evaluation questionnaire , which is considered a subjective tool for conducting evaluation, results show that all university teachers in the present sample have evaluated themselves positively by emphasizing that they all use all types of classroom teaching skills mentioned in the questionnaire. When comparing the university teacher's responses on this questionnaire then analyzing the data in relation to the specialization of the teachers, i.e. linguistics, literature, and ELT, no statistically significant difference has been identified, while when analyzing data in relation to the teachers year of experiences, , it has been found that the items , "focuses classroom time on teaching and learning" , and "comments on, and discusses homework in class" have been employed by the teachers who have 1 - 10 years of experience in teaching, whereas item Is aware of all activities in the classroom has been employed by the teachers who have 11 - 20 years of experience. it has been found that items Handles routines tasks promptly, efficiently, and consistently , Focuses classroom time on teaching and learning , and Grades, comments on, and discusses homework in class, have been employed by the teachers who have 1 - 10 years of experience in teaching, whereas item Is aware of all activities in the classroom has been employed by the teachers who have 11 - 20 years of experience.4 - In terms of the university classroom teaching skills questionnaire , the samples of the present study have evaluated the skills employed in teaching by other teachers at university level by answering the items of the aforementioned questionnaire positively. This means that from the samples' point of view, the skills stated in the questionnaire have all been employed by the Iraqi EFL university teachers. When comparing the teachers responses in terms of their specialization, i.e linguistics, literature, and ELT , it has been shown that the linguistics teachers have focused on the skills in items - help students acquire complex physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills by modeling, team teaching where two or more teachers pool their expertise, interests, knowledge of students, and available resources, ….., whereas the literature teachers have focused on the skills in item - How to evaluate the intended learning. The ELT teachers to have focused on the skills in items - teaching styles do not match learning styles, participate in indirect service like collecting food for shelters, cleaning up a vacant lot, raising money, and - use affective domain measurement ( attitudes, feelings, or opinions). while teachers who have 11 - 20 years of experience have focused on the skills in items items teaching styles do not match learning styles, - organizing students into homogenous classes or groups to make between - class or within - class grouping , participate in indirect service like collecting food for shelters, cleaning up a vacant lot, raising money,…. while teachers who have 11 - 20 years of experience have focused on the skills in items team teaching where two or more teachers pool their expertise, interests, knowledge of students, and available resources, - establishing expert and referent social power,, and Teachers plan their classes by starting the year with a bang , teachers who have more than 20 years of experience have focused he skills in items Cultural practice influence how teachers and students communicate , - Teachers should develop an understanding of skills in all facets of the communication process , Teachers establish class rules with student input and plan consequences for breaking the rules, and use oral performance tests.5 - From the researcher's point of view, the observation checklist has been more accurate and objective in checking the skills employed by university teachers in teaching. The two questionnaires have been less objective, especially the teachers self - evaluation one. This is the same problem for the third tool, i.e. the University Classroom Teaching Skills, where the teachers have responded to this tool subjectively also trying to refer to their situation more than taking into consideration evaluating the whole situation in Iraqi universities rather than talking about themselves.In the light of the above results, some conclusions have been drawn and some recommendations and suggestions for further studies have been put forward.

The research aims to identify the current levels of standard Arabic language skills among middle school students. To achieve the aim of the research , researcher chose Al - Saduq intermediate School for Boys and Al - Rusafi intermediate School for Girls and Babylon secondary School for and Al - Turath secondary School for Girls at random from among the intermediate and secondary day schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education in the province of Babylon to be an arena for the application of research. The number of respondents (300) students by 151 students and 149 students in the second grade average.In order to prepare research tools briefed researcher on literature and studies, and provided a questionnaire is open to a number of specialists to determine the standard levels of Arabic language skills, and then the researcher built standard levels of Arabic language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing and presented to a number of experts, and to complement the requirements of research has been chosen the standard for measuring the standard levels of Arabic language skills after being presented by the researcher to a number of specialists in the Arabic language and methods taught to express their views on the validity to measure specific skills, then deliberately researcher to choose texts (oddity Fish, art and life, companionship, and for the nation, honoring one's parents , and write a short essay explaining the status of martyr when God is included with your words what reservation of verses and sayings of the dishonest and sayings glorifying the martyr) to measure the standard of Arabic language skills levels, and selected these texts from outside the decisions of the Arabic language for the school year for the research sample and the decisions of the classroom that preceded it, so do not students affected by the text studied it and they discussed with their teachers so that longer texts a new attitude for them, having presented by the researcher to a number of specialists in the Arabic language and methods taught to express their views on the comprehensiveness of the measurement of specific skills expires, then deliberately researcher to build tests for Arabic language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing to be characterized by honesty, fortitude and strength of discrimination and level of difficulty, and after the application of the tests on the sample basic amount (300) students, in light of the search results list researcher concluded levels of standard Arabic language skills among middle school students as follows : A. Nineteen list included the level of a standard distributed according to the four Arabic language skills as follows : four standard levels to learn to listen, and five standard levels to learn to talk, and four standard levels to learn to read, and six standard levels of learning to write.B. A hundred and sixty - seven list included the indicator of check nineteen standard levels, and distributed indicators according to the four language skills as follows : Thirty - five indication to listen, and thirty - six indicator to talk, and thirty - five indicator for reading, one sixty indicator of writing.The researcher recommended with group of recommendations including : 1. Develop the content of Arabic language books in the intermediate stage in the light of the standard levels, by reference to these levels when content development and to judge the appropriateness of the middle school students.2. Ongoing review of the curriculum, and modified in the light of the standard levels, which are subject to audits and ongoing adjustment.3. Work on the preparation of a manual for teachers of Arabic by the Iraqi Ministry of Education include a definition of standard levels to learn the Arabic language skills in general and standard levels to learn the Arabic language skills at the intermediate level in particular, and how to teach it.4. Reconsider the evaluation methods in Arabic language at the intermediate level and tools so that the evaluation methods and tools are based on the standard of learning levels, and then judgment carefully over the language development of students in the light of these levels.5. hold training courses and workshops for teachers of Arabic language at the intermediate level, to familiarize them with the levels of standard of learning in general, the levels of standard for learning the Arabic language at the intermediate level in particular, and trained on how to use these levels in the development of language skills for students to reach proficiency in the use of language in attitudes different life.6. Use of correct Arabic language - based skills in this research, according to the teaching of this research; the fact that this method is suited to the skills used; because the researcher built a scientific steps to accommodate these skills.Complementing this research suggests the researcher conducting the study of the following : the following : 1. Abstract: يرمي البحث الحالي دراسة فاعلية برنامج محوسب لمادة قواعد اللغة العربية في ضوء معايير التعليم الالكتروني في تحصيل طالبات الصف الخامس العلمي، وانتقال اثر التعلم، وذلك بالتثبت من صحة الفرضيتين الصفريتين الاتيتين : الفرضية الاولى : لا توجد فروق ذوو دلالة احصائ | The present study aims at investigating the effectiveness of a computer - based programme of Arabic Grammar in terms of electronic teaching standards on the achievement of fifth scientific grade females and the transmission of the learning impact. The study tests the following two null hypothesis : 1 - There is no statistically significant difference at (0.05) level of significance between the mean score of subjects of the experimental group, who are taught Arabic grammar by the computer - based programme, and that of the subjects of the control group who are taught the same syllabus by the conventional method.2 - There is no statistically significant difference at (0.05) level of significance between the mean score of subjects of the experimental group, and that of the control one in the test of the learning impact transmission. The study is limited to the fifth scientific grade females in preparatory and secondary morning schools at Baghdad. It is also limited to the topic in the prescribed textbooks of grammar for the academic year (2013 - 2014).The researcher follows the descriptive and the experimental methods because of their suitability to the study sample. The researcher has intendedly chosden. The General Directorate of Alrussafa the second from which Alkhansa secondary school has been selected because of the availability of computer lab. The sample consists of (40) female students distributing on (20) subjects for each group. The researcher has matched between the two groups in terms of the level of academic achievement of the students' fathers and mothers, the test of linguistic performance, the test of mental capacity, the previous year scores, the previous information test and the student's age computed in moths. The researcher has constructed a computer - based programme which includes the topics of the prescribed grammar textbook for fifth scientific grade. The researcher has applied a test of the learning impact transmission through composition writing. The researcher has also constructed an achievement test consisted of (50) items. At the end of the experiment, the study has come up with the following result : the students' higher achievement in the experimental group in comparison to that of the control group which can be caused by the application of the constructed programme.In the light of the above result, the researcher has recommended the following : 1 - Inserting teaching technology in the syllabuses of teachers' preparation. 2 - Forming groups which include educationalists, linguists, and specialists of different Knowledge areas to initiate educational packages which satisfy the needs of Iraqi students and the Arabic culture. A cooperation among different Arab Universities should be sought.3 - Holding teaching courses for teachers of Arabic language to enable them to use teaching technologies.

The researcher has analyzed The content of the curriculum for computer book for grades (I, II) of the intermediate stage and has adopted on the explicit and implicit idea as a unit of recording, and duplicates as a unit for the census.4. It was confirmed the validity of the analysis, by showing sample of analysis The content of the curriculum for computer book for grades (I, II) of the intermediate stage according to logical thinking skills on the arbitrators where they have agreed on the validity of the analysis.5. use of Holsti equation which has been computed the stability analysis by agreement between external analysts and with the researcher itself over time. ?The results showed the use of frequencies and percentages of the following conclusions : 1. Content of Computer books in intermediate stage came for level positive for proportions to include it logical thinking skills when compared with the proportions of Arbitrators.2. The content of the curriculum for computer book for grades (I, II) of the intermediate stage focused on the skills (experimentation, observation, retrieval and identification characteristics).3. In order to verify the objective of this study, the researcher adopted the following : 1 - Building a suggested program which is consisted of four pedagogical each one included general objectives, pedagogical means, and cognitive and meta - cognitive strategies for each topic and the pedagogical content, activities and training. 2 - Building a written post - test made up of (80) items after verifying the reliability and constancy after making the necessary statistical analysis. 3 - Building a scale of studying skills made up of (64) items distributed into the five skills (recalling, note writing, time management, reading, reviewing the different scientific skills, testing). The verifying the reliability and constancy was made. 4 - The researcher adopted Gilford test for distant thinking made up of five activities, and was shown to judges and experts. The researcher used a group of the necessary statistical means like Pearson Correlative Coefficient, Chi - square, difficulty coefficient equation, distinguished equation, wrong alternative, t - test for two independent. The Results : the researcher concluded that : 1 - There are statistical differences in the posttest for the experimental group at the level of (0.05)2 - There are statistical differences in the scale of studying skills for only four skills which are (recalling, note writing, reading and reviewing the different scientific skills, testing) for the experimental at the level of (0.05), while there are none between the skills of time management.3 - There are statistical differences in distant thinking at the level of (0.05).

It has been confirmed its reliability and firmness.The society of the research is of two sides , the society of books and the society of the students ; the society of books represent conclusively with the Book of Geography along with its techniques for the fourth - stage students ( Literary Branch), after the researcher has excluded ( introduction,, index , Chapter's finished questions). While the society of the students include all fourth - stage students ( literary branch) in the governmental schools in Baghdad ( Al - Karkh / Al - Rusafa) , their number amounted ( 32642) after the researcher has excluded a random sample with ratio ( 5%) , their number is ( 379) students on whom test of the nature of the science and its basic operation will be applied. the test has been applied in the second half of the academic year ,starting on 12/4/2016 up to 27/4/2016. For analyzing the data and results , the researcher has relied on the statistic means which are ( repetitions, percentage , T - Test , T - test for the two independent samples. The results appeared as follows : 1. The book of " Geography" for the fourth stage students got repetitions for the natural concepts. The concern has been focused on after the results of the science , where it has been got about 296 repetitions with 47% , while , the morals of the science got the lower repetitions, where its repetitions has got 29 with 5%. 2. The book of " geography" for the fourth secondary stage has got 246 repetitions for the processes of basic science , most of which focused on skills of classification and numbers using ,where it has formed ( 109) SKILLS of 246 skills , with 44% of the scientific content of the book. 3. The students have got average ( considerable ) in the test of the nature of science and its basic processes.4. There are statistic differences in the performance of the students on the test of nature of the science based on the gender variable. and for the benefit of the girls. 5. There are not statistic differences in the performance of the students on the test of basic science processes based on the gender variable. The researcher has placed a set of recommendations : 1. The sample of this study was 68 students for 34 student in each group : - The class A for teaching according to the new way , and class B taught according to the traditional way ; it has been made the equivalence between these groups according to : ( age , IQ , motivation , confidence , and highly rate of thinking ). The researcher has been examine and investigate the range of his aims through the tool of the achievement test, which consists of 40 points , of which 30 was subjective from the type of multiple - choice quarterly alternatives , and 10 points of essay. The researcher has been investigate the validity and reliability coefficient and also the difficulty and discriminatory power as well as on the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives. The researcher has been construct higher grade of thinking test and he confirmed by his sincerity and persistence and the coefficient of difficulty and strength discriminatory. To implement the experiment the researcher has been developed a set of lesson plans for each of the two experimental and control groups , he has been teaching them by himself throughout the duration of the experiment, which began on Monday, 16/11/2016 and ended in 22/ 5/ 2016. After the end of the experiment and the application of the achievement test and the higher - grade thinking test , the researcher has been start collecting the data and then use the statistics process by using t - test for the two independent samples, as it has been to reach the following results : - The experimental group who taught by instructional - learning design being on high level in the achievement in comparison with the control group that they taught by the traditional way. To achieve the goals of the research, the researcher Directorate - General for Education Baghdad Rusafa first chose about my purpose, including chose the junior supporters for Boys, and chose a secondary good for girls random way, as the number of students reached in three research groups (193) male and female students, the rate of (96) students, and (97) Student, and the number of the first experimental group students (64 students), and the second number of the experimental group students (65) students as well, while the number of students in the control group (64) male and female students.Researcher conducted the following steps to complete the research methodology and procedures : 1) Follow the researcher design equal groups of women with partial seizure type test dimensional three groups (two experimental and one control group).2) Rewarded researcher research groups in the following variables : (chronological age, and educational attainment of the parents, and the Arabic language degrees last year, language ability, and intelligence).3) Select the researcher main concepts that should give it a lot of students in the sample, were (17) and a sub - prime concept.4) Coined the researcher (131) behaviorally target according to Bloom's Taxonomy (Bloom) in the cognitive domain and six levels.5) Prepared three atypical researcher plans for three research groups, the first in a form to the barman, and the second, according to a model for Lorsbash, and the third and the conventional method.6) The first researcher studied the experimental group using a specimen barman, and studied the second set using a model for Lorsbash and studied the control group using the traditional method (standard).7) Prepared researcher tools, the first test to measure the acquisition of rhetorical concepts, and the number of paragraphs of the total test (51) paragraph of the type of multiple - choice, for each concept of three paragraphs, the first definition of the concept, and the second discrimination concept, and the third mainstream concept, and make sure researcher of sincerity and the difficulty of transactions and the ease of its paragraphs as well as distinguish them, as well as check its stability. The two groups are equalized in the following variables : age, educational level of parents, and achievement scores in the pre - test , and ministerial examination scores. The two groups have been taught by the researcher himself using the same study material , which is ''literature spot'' and ''Science Topics'' from book 8 Iraq Opportunities. The post test is exposed to a jury of specialists in methodology and linguistics to state their suitability to students' level. The result of the present study reveals that there are statistically significant differences between mean scores of the experimental group, which has been exposed to the new suggested strategy, i.e. mind mapping strategy, and the control one, which has not been exposed to the same suggested strategy of reading comprehension, and in favour of the experimental group. So, the suggested instructional strategy, i.e. mind mapping, is proved to be a beneficial teaching strategy. Based on the above result, main conclusions, recommendations and suggestions for further studies are put forward

And in the light of the dissertation results the following inferences were reached : 1 - The educational leadership in the light of fiddler theory is exist for scientific division heads at the colleges of Baghdad province universities and with good level.2 - Divisions heads in the colleges enjoy accomplishment motivation according to Mcliland theory and with good level.3 - Scientific division heads at colleges enjoy with the organizational citizenship behavior according to Oregon sample. The most important recommendations of the researcher are : 1 - Divisions heads are preferred to revise the different theories of leadership, and especially the stances theories, because they are easier in application and more realistic as the specialists indicate.2 - That divisions heads take care for the humane sides in their leading for their divisions as they are consider the spirit of the work and its care and for its positive role and effect in raising moral spirit of the teachers in the division. 3 - Give importance to accomplishment motivation and direct the different researches to this field, for its importance in raising the educational productivity, improving the performance, and achieving the psychological health. 4 - Empowering the divisions heads for volunteering behaviors and actions which show their willing for helping the teachers and the employees.As for important suggestions : The researcher suggests conducting the following researches and studies : 1 - Making study about the educational leadership in the light of "Redn theory" and its relation to the organizational citizenship in the light of more man and blacky sample. 2 - Conducting study about the accomplishment motivation for high schools headmasters and its relation to the educational quality. 3 - Conducting study about the level of the organizational citizenship for the teachers and its relation to the leadership behavior to their supervisors.

To achieve the purpose of the research , the researcher has depended two procedures : descriptive procedure in building the educative programme and experimental procedure in recognizing the efficiency of the educative programme in gaining geography and knowledgeable motif of fifth literary students. This research has limited on fifth literary students in secondary and preparatory morning schools in the centre of Babylon governorate for academic year 2014 - 2015. The researcher has depended an experimental design with partial control ( experimental group and control group ) with distance test. The sample of the research is ( 61 ) students from fifth literary classes in Al - Thawra Preparatory School for Boys distributing with ( 31 ) students in experimental group and ( 30 ) students in the controlling group. Equivalence has been done between the two research groups in alternatives of ( time age calculated in months , intelligence , previous knowledge in geography , knowledgeable motif , qualification of the former year ) The researcher has taught the two groups of the research by himself through the period of experiment which lasted a full school year.He has prepared two devices to measure the related varieties. The first represented by gaining test which has two questions : The first objective one of multiple choices , it included ( 48 ) test items to measure the level of ( knowledge , understanding , application ) and the second question was ( article , consists of ( 12 ) items to measure the levels of ( analyzing , structure , evaluation ) from Bloom classification. The second device was to measure the knowledgeable motif which included ( 50 ) items distributed in five fields. The two devices have been applied at the end of the experiment after making sure of its psychometric characteristics. After analyzing the data by using T - Test for two independent samples , the results have shown the following : - 1 - There is a deference with statistic indication in marks average of students of both groups in gaining test for experimental group.2 - There is a difference with statistic indication in marks average of both groups students in knowledgeable motif for the experimental group. According to the results of the research , the researcher has recommended many recommendations , some of them are : - 1 - Ministry of education has to adopt the educative programme in teaching geography in fifth literary class for having an efficiency in increasing the level of gaining and knowledgeable motif.2 - Organizing workshops for geography supervisors and the teachers that aim to training them on how to employ educative programmes based on structural method to get benefit in their work.3 - Ministry of education should give a great importance of available necessary requirements to implement such educative programmes represented by study halls furnished with different study requirements. The researcher found that the philosopher (Ibn sina ) has an integrated theory of knowledge , no pre - taught , as well as the importance of the thought of Muslim philosopher in field of education , especially its application in the practical field , helping to enrich the educational process knowledge , because we can take advantage of the contents of this study , for the development of the educational process and upgrade them towards the top of the developed educational sience and knowledges and that needs to revive the Islamic intellectual heritage which is embodied in the character of the philosopher ( Ibn sina ) in the subject field of epistemology. The study was aimed at identifying the epistemobgy at (Ibn sina ) , and highlight the role of educational applications , it does so by taking advantage of those implications , and employment in the field education. The researcher used descriptive historical analytical in this present study through searching the envelops of ( Ibn sina ) and his books , including the ( healing , deliverance , psychology , human , signals and alerts , comments ). The research has included five main chapters , the first cheater has included six demands , namely : - First : The research problem , second : the importance of research , third : the aim of research , fourth : research methodology , fifth : the search limits , sixth : identifying terminology. The second chapter included three sections : the first topic : the biography of ( Ibn sina ) , second topic : included the factors affecting the thought of ( Ibn sina ) and the third section has included the previous studies related to the current research. The third chapter has included three sections , the first part included the historical development of the theory of knowledge , and the second part included basics of epistemology in general for the prevailing philosophies and the third section has included same of the philosophical views of ( Ibn sina ) , namely ,( Allah , the world , Man , Knowledge , Moral ) The fourth chapter included epistemology at ( Ibn sina ) , which included three sections , the first section included self and relation ship with knowledge , the second topic included the basics of epistemology at ( Ibn sina ) and the third section included sources of Knowledge at ( Ibn sina ). Section three : it contains specialized supervisor concept, the importance of his role in educational process , specialized supervisors recruitment criteria and his tasks.Section four : it reviewed previous studies related to the current one.Chapter three : this study was designed based on descriptive analytical research method , and also this chapter clarify : study procedure , study society , study sample , study tools , validity , reliability , statistical significance and analysis. - Study society : represented in (337) specialized supervisors distributed in (6) educational departments in AL - karekh and Al - rasafah at Baghdad city. - Study sample : (220) specialized supervisor mixed between male and female were participated in the study , which represent (59%) from study society. - Study tools : to achieve the aim of the study two scales were designed by the researcher : the first one for assessing performance level (44 item distributed in 4 factors ) , the second one for assessing the educational atmosphere ( 44 item distributed in 4 factors ).Validity : face validity was confirmed for scales by specialized professionals in education philosophy , educational management , assessment and evaluation. construct validity was achieved by item relationship with total degree , by pearson correlation , resulted.138 ,( significance.05 , freedom degree : 218 ).Discriminative power for items : T - Test was applied on two independent samples to discriminate between individuals with high scores with individuals with low scores , after comparing t score for tolls item with t standard it showed that all tolls items are significant , that t score is bigger than t standard 1.96.Reliability : internal consistency was calculated for the performance level scale using cronbach alpha equation , resulted 82% for the first factor , 80% for the second factor , 85% for the third factor , 84% for the fourth one which represent good psychometric characteristics. for second scale (educational atmosphere ) cronbach alpha resulted 84% for the first factor , 82% for the second factor , 87% for the third factor , 85% for the fourth factor.Statistical analysis : - T - test / two independent samples. - T - test / one independent sample. - Pearson correlation. - Mean. - Cronbach alpha equation.Chapter four (study results ) : Results showed no significant differences related to gender , which interpreted in a similarity between males and females in performance level in AL - karakh and AL - rasafah high scholls.1 - Result showed that educational atmosphere is available and common in high schools located in AL - karakh and AL - rasafah from specialized supervisors feedback.2 - Result support no differences between male and female specialized supervisors in assessing educational atmosphere in Baghdad high schools. 3 - Results showed positive relationship that’s also significant between teachers performance level and educational atmosphere.Conclusions : Regarding study results , these points were concluded : 1 - performance levels between high school teachers exist and vary based on specialized supervisors feedback.2 - results based on gender differences in performance level were relative and similar to each other.Recommendations : 1 - Enroll teachers in workshops for improving their performance level; in educational process.2 - Doing surveys with experienced teachers diagnosing and reflecting negative aspects in school educational books.3 - Providing new technology in education that facilitate learning that fit with schools budget.Suggestions : 1 - Continue working on performance level for school managers in Baghdad city and its relationship to educational atmosphere from teacher feedback.2 - Doing a similar study to identify performance level for school deputy managers in primary schools from specialized supervisors feedback

Abstract: يهدف البحث الى بناء برنامج تدريبي لمديري المدارس الثانوية على ادارة التغيير في ضوء مهماتهم، وقد اقتصر على مديري المدارس الثانوية ومديراتها ذوات المرحلتين المتوسطة والاعدادية. وتتطلب تحديد هذه المهمات اولا التي اصبحت بصيغتها النهائية مكونة من (60) مهمة، م | The present study aims at a training program for the principals of secondary schools on change management in the light of their change tasks. The study is confined to the principals of the intermediate and secondary stages. This requires much specification of the task first which has become in their final form of (60) task, distributed on the domains of regulation, study, the management of educational and teaching processes, management of teachers and records and school documents and the human and educational relationship with the students, and the relation with the local community and the parents, the activities, the educational and health consulting, the evaluation and examinations, the equipment and the school buildings and the library as (10, 6, 14, 6, 4, 6, 4, 6) respectively. The researcher verified their apparent validity and the constancy of each task by the re - testing method on a sample made up of (30) male and female principals. After determining the general objectives of the program which aim at training program for the principals of secondary schools in performing their tasks in the light of change management tasks, the researcher determined the sub - objectives of the program which include (16) sub - objectives distributed to (10) domains, (9) of them tackle the tasks and one tackle the change and its requirement’s. The researcher depended on the training the principals with the self - training method, by using the program distribution on the school principals included in the sample of evaluation of (30) principals. They were chosen by the method of random selection from each directorate of the General Education Directorate in Baghdad governorate according to the size in the research community distributed to the Directorate of Baghdad Rusafa the first, Rusafa the second, Rusafa the third , Karakh the first, Karakh the second and Karakh the third in (4, 8, 2, 4, 6, 6) principals respectively as (10) male principals and (20) female principals. After the distribution of the sample members after measuring of the performance of the sample (pretest) by the using of others’ evaluation. It depends on the evaluation of the two teachers in the field of the school management according to the average scores of the assistants’ evaluation and two teacher evaluation for the principals for each task. Before applying the program, the evaluation results of the principals’ performance included in the sample of the study showed that their performance was average and did not come up to the desired level of change management except in the domains of (evaluation and examination). Their performance was poor in comparison with the theoretical average at the level of (0.05). After the passage of a year of training so that the principals’ performance appears on all the tasks that extend to the whole scholastic year, the evaluation was repeated of these tasks. The results of the t - test show the excellence of the principals’ performance after training as follows : 1 - At the level of (0.01) in the domain of regulation, study, the management of educational and teaching processes, the human and educational and the relation with the local community the activities, the educational and health consulting, the evaluation and examinations,.2 - At the level of (0.01) management of schools.3 - At the level of (0.01) in management of teachers and records and school documents and relationship with the students and parents, and the domain of the equipment and the school buildings and the library.In the light of the procedures of the structure of the training program and the result of evaluation the researcher concluded that tasks of the secondary school principals that required by the change management are more variable and diverse than the current management. The self - training program of the principals on these tasks. Thus, the researcher recommends the Ministry of education to the necessity of going in the direction of change management in the secondary schools and the training of the male and female principals on this management by depending on self - training according to the prepared program. The researcher suggests making subsequent studies of this study on the principals of primary stage pupils and a study of the cognitive variables that can contribute successfully to change management and a study of the change management in some variables.

Abstract: This research is aiming at recognizing the impact of the strategy of contrast maps on reading comprehension by fourth grade students - Scientific stream.The researcher randomly has chosen Al - Kendi Preparatory school for boys ,associated to the directorate general of education in Babylon governorate and randomly has chosen class (A) to represent the experimental group ,which is studying the reading subject using the strategy of contrast maps , and he use class (B) as the control group ,which are studying the reading material using the traditional method. The research sample is amounting at 72 student divided in 36 student for each group.The researcher conducted a statistical parity between the students of the research groups in the following variables (Students ages per months , grades of Arabic language in the final exam for the previous academic year 2014 - 2015 and the grades of the pervious information ( Reading Comprehension ) ; parents educational level , Linguistic capability test , mental capability test.The researcher has delineated the study subjects which will be taught during the experiment period ; he drawn up behavioral objectives for those subjects ,which were 108 behavioral object ,; developed teaching plans for those subjects. The researcher himself delivered those subjects to the students of the selected two groups, during the experiment period which lasted for 9 weeks.The researcher has developed teaching plans for subjects that will be taught during the experiment period, he demonstrated plans to elite of specialized experts to decide on the validity and feasibility of the typical plans to the current research.During the experiment period which was lasted for 9 weeks, the researcher himself examined the research groups; the experiment was concluded on 12 - 01 - 2016, by applying of the Reading Comprehension Test. The researcher taught the experimental group the reading subject using the contrast map, which the second group was taught by the traditional method, the researcher used nine standard subjects for the two groups.In order to develop the reading comprehension, the researchers presented a group of subjects and distribute them to elite of experts and specialist to select a proper subject to the fourth grade students - scientific stream, and then the experts agreed on a subject.As to the research tool, the researcher has prepared a post test on reading comprehension involving 28 items. 12 items multi choose question and 16 items written questions. In order to insure the objectivity of correcting the written questions the researcher developed typical answers, which has been presented to the experts. The researcher confirmed the sociometric characteristics of the validity and reliability of test; discriminatory capability, coefficient of items difficulties (multi chooses and written questions) and efficiency of alternative improper objective items.Then the researcher presented the test to elite of experts and specialists, who approved that test, then he applied the test to pilot sample, calculate the time spent by the student to answer the test, the researcher used Pierson coefficient to calculate the reliability of the test, coefficient of items difficulties and discriminatory capability.The researcher himself applied the reading comprehension test on both research groups and corrected the answers. The researcher has used the following statistical means : T test, Chi square (K2), difficulty coefficient formula and discriminatory coefficient formula). After statistically analyzing the result, the researcher has reached the following : - The experimental group overtops the control group on the reading comprehension.After the analysis of the data the researcher has reached the following : - There is statistical significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in regard to the reading comprehension, and for the favor of the experimental group.In the light of this result the researcher has developed the following recommendations : - 1. The necessity to use the strategy of (Contrast maps) in teaching reading subject ,for it has a positive effect in improving student learning of reading subject ,as it is one of the basic skills of the Arabic language.2. Select the reading subjects in a manner developing all types of reading comprehension.3. Update the items of teaching methods in the colleges of education, basic education , preparation of teachers institutions, involve recent teaching techniques as the strategy of the self - schedule (Contract maps )4. Train Arabic language teachers in the preparatory stage on the strategy of teaching reading subject, including (Contrast maps) to develop the students reading comprehension ability ,at this stage.5. Development of teaching curriculums at all teaching stages, consistent with the modern teaching strategies ,such as metacognition strategy.To cover all research aspects ,the researcher has proposed to conduct a study to : - 1. It was parity between the three groups in the variables procedure (the level of intelligence test, and test prior knowledge of history, and testing of deductive reasoning skills, and chronological age measured in months and the rate of the previous academic year 2012 - 2013).It was coined researcher behavioral objectives and plans of teaching in the light of the requirements of the search , and then the acquisition of historical concepts and test deductive thinking to suit the nature of the search test which lasted full academic year of the day on Sunday 13/01/2013 until 08/05/2014 brief summary on Thursday, after statistical treatments was reached following results : 1. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average grades students three research groups, in the acquisition of the historical development of concepts and deductive reasoning skills.2. There is no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores first experimental group students and average students grades Group II trial to test the acquisition of historical concepts.3. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores first experimental group students and the average score in the control group students test the acquisition of historical concepts, and in favor of the first experimental group.4. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores second experimental group students and the average scores in the control group students test the acquisition of historical concepts, and in favor of the second experimental group.5. Intensification of scientific seminars and meetings between supervisors and teachers of history to demonstrate the importance typical of (debt and Zahorik) in the classroom to acquire historical perceptions of first grade average students.5. Teachers of history and directing Madrsadtha to adopt typical of (Duyet and Zahorik) in the development of the skills of deductive thinking among students of the first grade average.The researcher suggested the following proposals : 1. study to determine the impact of a prototypical Duyet and Zahorik in other styles of thinking, such as creative thinking - thinking contemplative - critical thinking - scientific thinking, and other patterns of thought.2. The skill of writing enjoys special status. It is via writing that a person can communicate a variety of messages to a close or distant, known or unknown reader or readers. Most EFL teachers are keen to talk to students about the importance of becoming autonomous writers. But just telling students that autonomy is in some way a good thing will have little effect unless it is part of a wider - semester design and unless teachers find ways of helping students to become more autonomous. This study aims at investigating the effect of autonomous learning programme on EFL college student's performance in writing and finding out the development in the experimental samples' autonomy. To achieve the aims of the study, the following null hypotheses have been posited.1. There is no statistically significant difference between the mean ranks of the experimental group performance and that of the control group in composing component of the post test. 2. There is no statistically significant difference between the mean ranks of the experimental group performance and that of the control group in style component of the post test. 3. There is no statistically significant difference between the mean ranks of experimental group performance and that of the control group in sentence formation component of the post test. 4. There is no statistically significant difference between the mean ranks of the experimental group performance and that of the control group in usage component of the post test. 5. There is no statistically significant difference between the mean ranks of the experimental group performance and that of the control group in mechanics component of the post test. 6. There is no statistically significant difference between the mean ranks of the experimental group performance and that of the control group in overall composition writing of the post test. 7.There is no statistically significant difference in the experimental group subjects' autonomy between the pre and the post administration of questionnaire. Thus, an experiment is designed.Fourty students from the College of Basic Education at University of Missan have randomly been chosen (twenty students as an experimental group which are taught composition writing by the use of autonomous learning programme and twenty students as a control group which are taught composition writing according to conventional ways) during the academic year 2010 - 2011.The validity of the programme , the questionnaire ,the test, and the scoring scheme have been obtained by exposing them to jury members in the fields of EFL and linguistics. The answers of the test have been separately scored by the researcher and two other scorers separately. By using By using Pearson Correlation Coefficient formula the reliability of the questionnaire has been yields (0.82) and the test has been secured by using Alpha Cronbach Formula (0.84), intrascorer reliability (0.923), and interscorer reliability (0.976). Statistical analysis of data achieved through the test indicates that there are statistically significant differences between the experimental group performance and that of the control group in terms of composing, style, sentence formation, usage, mechanics, and the overall composition of the post test and the post questionnaire in favour of the experimental group. It has been concluded that using the autonomous learning programme develops students’ performance in composition writing and gives them opportunity to make choices that encourage them to reflect on their own interests and preferences. It will also make them start to take responsibility and motivation for learning; plan and carry out their independent learning task; monitor and evaluate their learning. In the light of these results, some recommendations and suggestions for further studies are presented.

Abstract: ان طلبة الجامعة العراقيين الذين تلقوا تعلم اللغة الانجليزية لا يزالون غير قادرين على فهم استخدام هذه اللغة فعلا في التواصل لا سيما في الاداء الكلامي والكتابي, وان عدم قدرة الطلبة في الكلام والكتابة او ضعفهم فيهما يعزى الى امور كثيرة ؛ منها ضعف مستوى ا | Iraqi college students who have received several years of English teaching frequently remain deficient in their ability to actually use the language and to understand its use in normal communication especially in their oral and written performance.The students' inability in speaking and writing is attributed to many reasons from which the major ones are their poor level in grammar, which is considered an essential part in performing speaking and writing, if not , all the four language skills, as a result of the poor teaching methods that focus only on memorization of rules (based on teacher - centred approaches than students - centred). Therefore, this study is an attempt to examine the impact of PACE and CRTs models in teaching grammar, as they can be used to facilitate meaningful learning on the EFL college students' oral and written performance. The present study aims at finding out : 1 - The Impact of using PACE model in teaching grammar on the EFL Iraqi university students' oral and written performance.2 - The Impact of using CRTs model in teaching grammar on EFL Iraqi university students' oral and written performance3 - The difference between the impact of PACE and CRTs models in teaching grammar on students' oral and written performance. In this respect, this study hypothesizes six null hypotheses stating that : 1 - There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught grammar according to PACE model and that of the control group which is taught grammar by the conventional way in their performance on the speaking test.2 - There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the second experimental group which is taught grammar according to CRTs model and that of the control group which is taught grammar by the conventional way in their performance on the speaking test.3 - There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the first and second experimental groups in their performance on the speaking test. 4 - There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught grammar according to PACE model and that of the control group which is taught by the conventional way in their performance on the written test.5 - There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the second experimental group which is taught grammar according to CRTs model and the control group which is taught grammar by the conventional way in their performance on the written test.6 - There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the first and second experimental groups in their performance on the written test. To verify the above mentioned hypotheses, a sample of 120 students from the first - year students / Department of English /College of Education/ University of Wassit / morning studies during the academic year 2013 - 2014 has been chosen. This sample has been distributed into three groups : the first experimental of (41 students) using the PACE model , the second experimental of (39 students ) using the CRTs model , and the control group of (40 students) following the conventional way. The three assigned groups have been equalized by certain variables including : Parents' academic level ,The age of the subjects in months , Intelligence , Subjects' Baccalurate scores ,Subjects' pre - test - performance in writing , and Subjects' pre - test - performance in speaking.The pre - test has been administered before the beginning of the experiment for the sake of equalizing the three groups. After conducting the experiment, a post - test has been administered for the three groups in order to find out the impact of PACE and CRTs models on the students' oral and written performance. Subjects' responses to the post tests have been statistically manipulated. The study arrived at the following findings : 1 - The students in the first experimental group who are taught grammar by using PACE model perform better in the speaking and written post - tests in comparison with the students in the control group.2 - The students in the second experimental group who are taught grammar by using CRTs model perform better in the speaking and written post - tests in comparison with the students in the control group.3 - Concerning the first and second experimental groups ,the present study has found out that : A - the students in the first experimental group who are taught grammar by using PACE model perform better, on the speaking post - test, than the students in the second experimental group who are taught grammar by using CRTs model. B - the students in the first experimental group who are taught grammar by using PACE model and the students in the second experimental group who are taught grammar by using CRTs model being on the same level in their performance on the written post - test. On the basis of the findings above, some pedagogical recommendations and suggestions for further research are put forward.

Abstract: يسعى البحث الحالي الى معرفة اثر انموذجي فرق التحصيل الطلابية وتكامل المعلومات المجزاة في تحصيل مادة التاريخ عند طالبات الصف الخامس الادبي. ولتحقيق ذلك اختارت الباحثة تصميما تجريبيا ذا ثلاث مجموعات : مجموعتان تجريبيتان ومجموعة ضابطة، واختبار تحصيلي بعد | The goal of this research is to find the effects of both the studying students group which has various educational levels and the integration of the fragmented information through or during the study of history subjects for the female students of the fifth secondary literary section. To achieve this study or case the researcher has chosen an experimental design or test by studying three groups : two are as mentioned above and the third is just ordinary team. In addition to that, there is a test after the experiment. The researcher chose on purpose female students of the literal section from two different secondary school Al Asil and Wahran both are secondary school for girls, and both are from directorate of education - Al Karkh 2nd district for the academic year 2014 - 2015 to make the experiment.The total number of students were 73 divided as follow : 24 students in the 1st experimental team, 25 students in the 2nd experimental team (integration of the fragmented information and 24 students in the 3rdteam which were taught in classical methods).The researcher was careful before starting her tests on the three groups of students, in choosing statistically equality in some of the variables, which she thinks may have negative effects on the experiment.The variables are final grade of history exam of the last year for every student, age of students calculated in months, parents educational level, and the test of prior knowledge of history.The researcher chose the educational material that should be taught which included the 1st and 2nd chapter from the modern history of Europe and America for the 5th literal secondary class or level. Then she put the behavioral goals depending on the general goals of the material and on the four levels (memory, understanding, practicing, and analysis) according to the Bloom’s taxonomy of learning Domains, which are 72 behavioral goals. The researcher also prepared teaching plans for the material that should be taught and for the final test which was a multiple choice test containing 50 questions. This final test has been presented to a group of experts and specialists in history, psychological science and teaching methods. The presentation to this group of experts was to examine, to verify the virtual honesty, to produce the difficulty factor or coefficient and to find the strength of its paragraphs. In addition to that, we should find its consistency and the same result of the test when the students repeat the same exam several times. The method called partial way (0,77)A correction has been made to the reliability factor by using the Spearman - Brown formula. The value of the factor was (0,87 ) and it is accepted in educational and psychological studies.The researcher has personally completed her studies and tests on all the groups. It took a period of two months to do the experiment starting from 1/12/2014 and this was the first quarter of the academic school year 2014—2015.At the end of the experiment the researcher applied the final test for the history subject. She tested the first two groups on Wednesday 28/01/2015 and on Thursday 29/01/2015 for the classical third group.The researcher used the Scheffe’s method and the contrast unilateral analysis to process the data statistically. The results are the following : 1 - There are differences with statistical indications at the level (0.05) in the average of the students grades of the first group (which they are of various level of knowledge and grades) comparing to the average grades of the third and the classical group of students. The difference is in the benefit of the first group.2 - There are differences with statistical indications at the level (0.05) in the average of the students grades of the second group (which they use the integration method of the fragmented information) comparing to the average grades of the third and the classical group of students. The difference is in the benefit of the second group.3 - There are differences with statistical indications at the level (0.05) in the average of the students grades between the first group (which they are of various level of knowledge and grades) comparing to the average grades of the second group (which they use the integration method of the fragmented information). The difference is in the benefit of the first group.In light of the current search results to the researcher reached the following conclusions : 1. in use is typical (of student achievement teams) and (Integration fragmented) information in the teaching of history a positive impact in increasing the collection of literary V students in the first four levels of Bloom's Taxonomy (remember, understanding, application, analysis).2. The use of typical of (student achievement teams) and (integration of fragmented information) requires time, effort and skill by the researcher more than it is given away when teaching topics article approved the use of traditional methods and styles.the recommendations of researcher based on the results of her case study : 1 - To emphasis on the need to the attention of the ministry of education to use and teach the modern methods including the (method of various level of knowledge and grades in one group) and (the integration method of the fragments information).2 - Offering and preparing developmental courses for the history teacher. The courses should include the modern methods including the (method of various levelof knowledge and grades in one group) and (the integration method of the fragments information).3 - Introducing in the books of history material the modern teaching plans and methods including the (method of various level of knowledge and grades in one group) and (the integration method of the fragments information).4 - Applying the (method of various level of knowledge and grades in one group) and (the integration method of the fragmented information) when teaching other educational material.The researcher also suggests to practice and to apply similar experiments in : 1 - Other situations with different variables and groups other than the various level of education.2 - In different stages and study phases other than the researcher has practiced and experimented.3 - To conduct a study and make comparison between all - girls and all - boys schools insimilar case studies.

And the assistants' points of view have revealed that the deans using information techniques in their administration work with medium degree. 2 - There are no differences statistically significant in the individuals of the sample points of view about using information techniques for the deans of colleges according to the variables of gender and the administration position, besides there is no interaction between the variables of the gender of its two (types) and the administration position of its two different levels from the individuals sample point of view of the chairmen of Depts. And assistants dean concerned the deans' using information techniques in their administration work.3 - The individuals sample from of the research has illustrated chairmen of Depts. And assistants dean that the colleges deans have the ability to take a decision in their administration work.4 - There are no differences of statistical significance from the individuals of the research sample points of view concerned the colleges deans to take decision according to the variables of gender and the administration position, besides, non - existence of interaction between the gender and the administration position variables in these points of view and the administration position in its two different levels from the individuals' of the research sample point of view of the chairmen of Depts. Abstract: The present study aims at identifying the impact of employing the Text Theory on fifth literary class students’ reading comprehension and composition performance.A partial control experimental design has been adopted where a control group plus a post test has been only used. The sample of the study includes 63 male fifth literary class students selected from Al - Athar preparatory school for boys.The sample has been distributed into an experimental group of 31 students , and a control group of 32 ones. The two groups have been equalized in : age calculated in months, parents academic level , and a linguistic ability test.Two tests have been constructed : a reading comprehension text consisting of 40 MCQ items where its validity , reliability , item discrimination power , item difficulty power , and the effectiveness of its incorrect options have all been achieved ;and a composition writing test including several topics selected by a group of experts. Both groups have been taught by the researcher himself. Both the reading comprehension test and the composition writing one have been applied on the sample of the present study at the end of the experiment. The experimental study lasted for a whole academic course. Data of the study has been analyzed statistically by using t - test of two independent samples. Results reveal that : 1. The experimental group students have been superior to the control group ones in reading comprehension.2. The experimental group students have been superior to the control group one in composition writing performance.In the light of the present study results , suitable conclusions, recommendations and suggestions for further studies have been put forward.

In the Basic Science Posttest. The present study was confined to the students of governmental secondary and preparatory schools (Day Classes) for boys in Baghdad governorate\ Rusafa II for the academic year 2014/2015. He depended on the partial adjustment (experimental, control groups) with the posttest. The sample of the study composed of (73) students from the fifth grade \Literary branch : (36) of the experimental group in Al - Jazzera preparatory school and (37) control group from Al - Shaheed Ahmed Al - Husseiny School. The two groups were matched in the variables of (age, IQ, previous information test, basic science processes pretest, previous knowledge in geography, and parent achievement). The researcher prepared two tools for the dependent variable; the first is the achievement test made up of two questions : the first is the multiple choice type - four options - 40 items to measure the minimum levels of Bloom’s Classification (knowledge, comprehension, application). The second measures the maximum levels (analysis, syntnesis, evaluation), composed of 14 questions - essay type - The validity and constancy of the, and the calculation of the psychometric features were all verified. The Basic Sciences processes test made of 40 items the multiple choice type - four options - The validity and constancy of the, and the calculation of the psychometric features were all verified. The two tests were applied at the end of the experiment which lasted for one scholastic year starting from 3/11/2014 to 9/4/2015. The data obtained were processed by the use of the t - test for two independent samples. The following findings were concluded : 1 - The exceling of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program according to Active Leaning Strategies over the students of the control group who study in the same material without the program (traditional method) in acchievement test.2 - The exceling of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program according to Active Leaning Strategies over the students of the control group who study in the same material without the program (traditional method) in Basic Sciences processes test.Upon the above, the researcher comes up to the findings, and put some recommendation such as : 1 - Teachers of geography should take care choosing the teaching strategies that are suitable with the studying themes, and activating the role of the activations to acquire the learners the basic sciences process and to increase their achievement. 2 - The necessity of including the Sciences processes in the books of the geography specially the book of Natural Geography by the geography curricula makers. 3 - Making the teachers familiar with the active learning and its strategies, and training them on this.4 - Making the teachers familiar with the Basic Sciences processes and its strategies, and training them through continuous courses.5 - Calling the Ministry of Education to make use of the pedagogical program prepared by the researcher, and applying it on the students of Fifth Grade\ Literary Branch in Geography. The researcher has intentionally chosen (Dar Al - Hikma Secondary School) in Baghdad Al - Jadeeda, in the province of Baghdad. The sample of the research consists of (100) students : (33) students are in the first experimental group who have studied Composition by using the conformity strategy, and (34) students are in the second experimental group who have studied Composition by using the cube strategy, and (33) students who have studied Composition by using the traditional approach. It is worth mentioning that the researcher has chosen the three sections randomly. The researcher has equalized the three groups depending on the three following alternatives : (age of the students calculated by months, the final scores of Arabic language for the previous year 2013 - 2014, the scores of the Intelligence Test (Raven), the scores of the pretest in conducting composition, testing the self academic motivating measure). The researcher has prepared daily teaching plans for teaching the three groups. Besides, the devices of the research were : Firstly, for measuring composition performance, he has used the sequential tests, and the students' scores of the three groups. Secondly, he has used a test for measuring the range of developing the skills of information evolution for the students (the sample). Moreover, the researcher has prepared it with (75) items distributed on different multiple choice questions, and literary questions with paying attention to the conditions of constructing each type as follows : The first question : it consists of (30) multiple choice items while the second question consists of (20) literary items. The researcher has applied his experiment on the three groups on Tuesday 25th of November/2014, and it has continued to 7th of May/2015. The researcher has used the following statistical devices : (mono variance analysis, Chi - square, equation of complexity factor, equation of complexity differentiation factor, validity of incorrect alternatives, Pearson coefficient of correlation, Krobnach equation - Alpha, Shifeah method). The researcher has achieved various conclusions, from which he has drawn the following points : the excellence of the students who have studied composition depending on the Cube and Conformity strategies on the controlling group who have studied the same subject using the traditional way for composition and developing the skills of information evolution. Consequently, depending on the results, the researcher has recommended the following : Encouraging the (male and female) teachers of Arabic Language to use the modern strategies (Cube and Conformity) in teaching. Therd HYPothesis : Ther are not statistical difference significance in the achievement of dictation atbetween the female Pupils of the experiment at visual imagination and those of the grop that study accordine to the traditional method.Fourth hypothesis : There are not statistical difference significance between the themale and female pupils of the experiment at group only.toacheive the goals of the study ,Al - Haydaria primary school for boys and Rafah primary school for girls were chosen randomly and the study group was mada up of (020) second - year made and female pupils the researcher balanced between the members of the two studY groups statistica twough controlling Variables : age,fathers education and mother aducation.After making data - analysis statisti cally by using (t ,test) ot the two ends for two in dependent specimens ,the findings were : The pupils of the experimental group who studied dictation by using the visual imagination method excelled those pupils at the controlling group that studied the same subject by using the traditional method in the achi tesT The pupils of the experiment at group also excelled those of the controlling group and the female pupils of the experimental group excelled those of controlling group those of controlling group.At the end at end of expirement ,the researcher proposed some recommendation and suggestion that swit the findings of her study.

To achieve the aims of the study, some of aims related to the relation between administrative engineering and functional performance have been worded. The descriptive approach is adopted in describing the variables of this study. A questionnaire is used as the main instrument to collect the data important for this study from the sample and to support the theoretical framework of the study. After surveying the related educational literature and previous studies, two scales are constructed. The first is an administrative engineering scale and the other is intended to measure the functional performance. Having the required data been collected, the (SPSS) program has been used to analyze the collected data. This analysis reveals the following results : 1. Private colleges' deans have an average level of the recognition and awareness of the benefits of the administrative engineering through the skills and techniques of work accomplishment and achieving the intended aims.2. Private colleges' deans have a good level of functional performance through running their colleges issues and being aware of the administrative instructions and principles.According the results achieved, the following conclusions are drawn : 1. There is a strong correlational relationship between the two variables (administrative engineering and functional performance).2. There are no statistically significant differences in the sample responses to the scales of administrative engineering and functional performance according to the study variable (the academic title). Finally, the following recommendations are put forward : 1. The necessity to enroll colleges' deans and individuals, by the Ministry of Higher Education, in the training and qualification courses to promote their functional performance.2. The necessity of private colleges' deans working to spread the culture of change and development of their employees.3. The necessity to spread and promote the concept of administrative engineering in the private colleges for all employees whether academic or administrative.

With more students enrolling in schools, large classes in a country like Iraq tend to be obligatory rather than exceptional.In Iraq, large class enrollments also result in classroom discipline and achievement problems at all levels. Some students talk in class and make it difficult for the majority to hear the teacher and concentrate due to increasing the noise level. Many students might mishear an answer or a point. They pay less attention and are distracted by those who talk in class. They are psychologically inhibited from participation. Therefore, the present study tries to overcome the problem of students' achievement and discipline in large classes by examining two new models namely : 5Es and 4Is instructional models.This study aims at finding out the impact of using 5Es instructional model on students' achievement and classroom discipline, the impact of using 4Is instructional model on students' achievement and classroom discipline, and the difference between the impact of these two instructional models on both students' achievement and classroom discipline.To fulfill the study aims, a nonrandomized control group pre - posttest design has been applied to a sample of (150) 5th secondary students from Al - Shuruk secondary school, Al - Karkh 3rd Directory in Baghdad. The study demands two experimental groups and one control. The equalization of subjects for the three groups has been checked according to their age (in months), level on the pre - test achievement, mother’s level, father’s level, students' intelligence and level on the pre administration of the discipline checklist. To achieve the aims of the study, two sets of lesson plans are designed to employ 5Es and 4Is models. Two data collection instruments are also constructed and used; these are, an observation checklist for classroom discipline and an oral - written achievement test. The experiment lasted three months and the researcher himself has taught the three groups of study. The first four units are chosen from the 5th preparatory textbook (English for Iraq) to be taught in the experiment.Results obtained by the statistical treatment of the data, have shown that : 1. there are statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 1st experimental group which is taught by 5Es model and the control group which is taught conventionally in the achievement test.2. there are statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 1st experimental group which is taught by 5Es model and the control group which is taught conventionally in the classroom discipline checklist.3. there are statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 2nd experimental group which is taught by 4Is Model and the control group which is taught conventionally in the achievement test.4. there are no statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 2nd experimental group which is taught by 4Is model and the control group which is taught conventionally in the classroom discipline checklist.5. there are no statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 1st experimental group which is taught by 5Es model and the 2nd experimental group which is taught by 4Is model in the achievement test.6. there are no statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 1st experimental group which is taught by 5Es model and the 2nd experimental group which is taught by 4Is model in the classroom discipline checklist. In the light of the results achieved, some recommendations have been proposed and suggestions for further studies have been stated.

Abstract: This study aims at finding out : 1 - The effect of workshop technique on Iraqi EFL students' self - esteem.2 - The effect of workshop technique on Iraqi EFL students' performance in language skills. To achieve the aims of the study, the following null hypotheses have been tested : 1 - There is no statistical significant difference between the mean score of students of the experimental group which is taught by workshop technique and that of the control group which is taught by the traditional used technique in the post - administration of self - esteem questionnaire.2 - There is no statistical significant difference between the mean score of students of the experimental group which is taught by workshop technique and that of the control group which is taught by the traditional used technique on their performance in the post - test of English language skills. A Non - Randomized Pre - Post Test Control Group experimental design has been used. The sample of the study consists of 82 students of Iraqi EFL fifth preparatory school - scientific branch (40 students for experimental group)and (42students for the control group) for the academic year 2014 - 2015. The two groups (experimental and control group) have been equalized on the following variables : Age of the students, Students' achievement in English(scores of the first course), Parents' Education ,The pre - test, Level of intelligence and Level of self - esteem. Two instruments have been used in this study. They are a test and a questionnaire. The validity of the instruments has been secured by exposing the instruments to jury members in the field of ELT and linguistics. A number of statistical methods has been used in order to verify the reliability of the tests as well as the questionnaire. After the application of the experiment and the study instruments, the results of this study show that : 1 - There is a statistical significant difference between the two groups in their self - esteem and in favour of the experimental group and; 2 - There is a statistical significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the post - test and in favour of the experimental group.Finally, some conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions for further studies are put forward as follows : 1 - Workshop technique is capable of meeting the learners' potential needs ,autonomy, and healthy personality 2 - The workshop technique represents actual solution for the current educational situation.It saves the effort and time of both teachers and learners.3 - The workshop technique requires highly experienced teachers who are proficient in designing daily plan as well as an appropriate environment in the class for successful workshop.4 - The workshop technique has a prominent function in developing the students' performance of the experimental group. This is obvious from the post - test results which reflect a significant statistical difference in the students' performance, in favour of the experimental group.5 - The workshop technique has an outstanding utility in developing the students' self - esteem of the experimental group. This is obvious from the post - test results of the questionnaire which reflect a significant statistical difference in the students' self - esteem , in favour of the experimental group.6 - The four linguistic skills must be tackled as one and not to be separated into detached skills because they are integrated in our realistic situation and have to be used as real as possible in order to get authentic education.7 - Workshop technique is a good means for reflection which is neglected in the educational syllabus in our country while it must be considered the spirit of optimal learning and teaching if it is paid well attention and enough time by the teachers

The research’s sample size reached to (113) head of department , at the rate (30%) of the total research ,Were selected randomly from each university calculated's where, and to the research objectives promising researcher decision - making capacity measure, analyze paragraphs logically and statistically by experts after applied to a sample of (100) Head of the Department to calculate the discriminatory power and its transactions sincerity and by the stability of the scale in a manner re - test and the method of alpha - Cronbach, also was checked by the virtual sincerity, be the ultimate picture of (30) items, a promising researcher mandate administrative measure in the light of the theory (continuous line), is the ultimate picture of (7) gradients to delegate administrative, were verified measure of constancy in a way re - testing and virtual sincerity, and after the use of appropriate statistical methods : yielded results for the presence of a statistically significant relationship at the level (0.05) between the capacity for decision - making and the level of delegation of administrative, where Deans has the potential to make decisions as they tend to mandate administrative and that what he sees as heads of departments in them, because the decision is a building block essential foundation for the process of delegation and decision - making process of the ongoing administrative work, which interfere with other administrative operations processes, researcher concluded that there is the effect of the relationship and the impact of capacity for decision - making and the level of delegation of administrative, as he does the impact of global specialization and length of service in the capacity for decision - making and delegation of administrative and researcher recommends expanding the base of participation in decision - making in educational institutions process so that the various levels involving the educational system, and the reduction of extreme centralization and encourage employers to the principle of decentralization

Building an educational program according to Landa theory.2. Statement of effectiveness in the collection of geographical material and scientific thinking among students fifth grade literary. In order to achieve my goal Find researcher relied on two approaches, namely : the descriptive approach in building a tutorial, and the experimental method in a statement the program's effectiveness in the collection of geographical material and scientific thinking among students fifth grade literary, and to achieve my goal Find researcher formulated hypotheses Zero following cases : 1. There are no significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average achievement scores for students of the experimental group which is studying the use of natural geographical tutorial material and the average achievement scores for students of the control group, which is studying the same material without the program. 2. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average test scores of scientific thinking of students in the experimental group that is studying the natural geographical material using the tutorial and the average test scores of scientific thinking for the students of the control group, which is studying the same material without the program. The tutorial building according to Landa theory which of six educational classes included each chapter on behavioral objectives for each topic of educational content and strategies to Landa theory as well as the activities and training and educational means and after that confirmed the researcher of sincerity program has been applied to students of fifth grade literary from ( junior high valor for girls) of the Directorate of Education Rusafa first / Baghdad for the academic year 2014 - 2015, and formed the sample of 60 students, the rate of (30) students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group was parity between the two groups prior to starting the experiment in a number of variables are (chronological age of the students measured in months, steps geographical material in the final test of the previous year, the academic achievement of the parents, the IQ test, the former geographical knowledge test, test tribal) scientific thinking. And the researcher to build two tests first achievement after me consists of (50) paragraph test and the second test dimensional scientific thinking and consists of (30) items and after confirmation of the sincerity of the two tests and steadfastness and make the necessary statistical analysis have been apply them to sample and after processing the data statistically using the test samples t for two independent samples (t test).Results appeared as follows : 1. Exceed the students in the experimental group that studied the natural geographical material using the tutorial according to Landa theory on female control group studied the same material without the tutorial (the traditional way) in achievement test.2. Exceed the students in the experimental group that studied the natural geographical material using the tutorial according to Landa theory on female control group studied the same material without the tutorial (the traditional way) in the test of scientific thinking. In light of the search results researcher recommended a number of recommendations including : 1. Call the Ministry of Education to encourage construction of the Organization of educational programs clearly and simple to attract the attention of students educational material which contribute to raising the level of academic achievement and the development of scientific thinking.2. Invite the Ministry of Education to adopt this prepared by the researcher program and apply it to the fifth grade students in the geographic literary material. The researcher suggested some proposals including a study : 1. Conducting a similar study of the current study to demonstrate the impact and by sex.2. Measure the impact of the program which has prepared a researcher at other variables such as the acquisition of concepts, direction, motivation and retention Academy. According to this design, a sample has been chosen - the sample consists of female students of the fifth primary class from Al - Intifatha Primary School for Girls in Baghdad belongs to the First Rissaffa Educational Directorate, for the academic year (2015 - 2016) [First Semester]. The sample consists of (70) female students divided into classes, one of them resembles the experimental group, and the second resembles the controlling one. Each group, in turn, includes (35) female students. Section B has been taught the scientific concepts by using Eshykawa’s strategy, and section (A) has been taught the scientific concepts by using the traditional approach.The two groups have been rewarded by certain variables : age, scientific achievement in (Science) for the fourth primary class, the scores of previous achievement test, the scores of intelligence test, the parent’s achievement. In addition, for adopting the experiment, the researcher has decided (20) basic concepts within the first and second units from the textbook of the fifth primary class. The behavioral objectives have been designed as three levels for processes of acquiring the concepts; they are : definition, distinction, and application. The behavioral objectives are (60) and they have been used in writing the lesson plans for teaching relying on the independent variable.The researcher has prepared a test for acquiring the scientific concepts for it is the ‘tool’ of the research. The items of the test are (60) in the light of processes of acquiring the three concepts : definition, distinction, and application. The validity of the test has been checked, and even its reliability and the power to discriminate, the difficult level of its items, and the effectiveness of its variables have been checked.After ending the research experiment, the test of acquiring the scientific concepts has been applied for the female students of both (experimental and controlling) groups.Moreover, a statistical treatment for the data has been implemented by using the (t - test) for two independent samples. Consequently, the results have shown the excellence of the experimental group - which has been taught the scientific concepts by using Eshykawa’s Strategy - on the controlling group which has been taught the same concepts but by using the traditional approach. In the light of the results of this study, a number of concluding remarks have been got concerning the results and teaching output when using Eshykawa’s Strategy, and there are related recommendations, then, some suggestion shave been set for future researches in this aspect

Poetry also is the genre that draws on creating a full range of archaisms, dialects, as well as originates vivid new metaphors along with modeling and ordering rhythms Teaching poetry should pay considerable attention to the poetic rich and multilayered language with the aim of conveying a message. In the EFL classes, teaching poetry strategies are essential to both teachers and students. For teachers, these strategies are used to maximize their awareness towards poetry. They try to inspire the students’ inner and outer world around them. For the students, these poetry strategies help them to get beyond preconceived notions about poetry. Thus, it is necessary for teachers to include these literary and poetry strategies in EFL teaching to enrich the students’ learning. Literature reading strategies are important components in EFL learning, and they can influence EFL University students' achievement. The present study, therefore, aims at finding out1. the effect of JOIN strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' achievement in poetry.2. the effect of SHOW strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' achievement in poetry.3. the effect of JOIN strategy on Iraqi EFL university students’ literature reading strategies4. the effect of SHOW strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' literature reading strategies To achieve the study aims, the following two null hypotheses have been formulated : 1. There are no statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy in the achievement posttest in poetry 2. There are no statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy in literature reading strategies. The study demands quasi experimental design which is non - randomized control group posttest design. Lesson plans on how to teach according to the two strategies JOIN and SHOW have been designed. A questionnaire on literature reading strategies and an achievement posttest are constructed to collect data. The questionnaire consists of 60 items while the test includes six questions : some are objective and others are subjective. The first question has 16 items and it is multiple - choice, the second question includes 10 True/False items while the third one has 10 matching items. As for the fourth, fifth, and sixth questions, they are (writing composition) production questions. Face and content validity have been ascertained.Reliability coefficients have also been ascertained using two methods : Alpha Cronbach and scorer/intrascorer method. The items have been analyzed statistically, and the difficulty level and the discriminating power for each item have been calculated. The posttest has been applied its results analyzed statistically using Analysis of Variance and Scheffe test for post comparisons. The study sample is 119 male and female students in the third stage/ English Language Dept. /College of Education for Human Sciences/ Ibn Rushd. The study demands two experimental groups and a control one. The three groups have been matched according to the following variables : gender, age (in months) , the students' scores in the pretest, the academic level of the mother, the academic level of the father, and pre - administration of literature reading strategies. The experiment lasted three months during which the researcher herself has taught the three groups poetry in the second semester of the academic year 2014 - 2015.After the statistical treatment of the data, the results show that : 1. There are statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy and their effect on the university students' achievement in poetry in favor of the SHOW strategy.2. There are statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy and their effect on the university students' literature reading strategies in favor of the SHOW strategy. In order to achieve the research 's goal , the researcher has placed two Zero hypotheses : • There are not statistical differences between averages of three groups , the 1st group is the experimental one that studies the geography by the strategy of trainer and 2nd experimental group studies the same subject with mistakes - existing strategy and the control group studies the same subject with the traditional method in acquiring the geographic concepts.. • There are not statistical differences between averages of three groups , the 1st group is the experimental one that studies the geography by the strategy of trainer and 2nd experimental group studies the same subject with mistakes - existing strategy and the control group studies the same subject with the traditional method in acquiring geographic thinking. The researcher has followed an experimental method which is the design of the control group according to random specialization for individuals and pre - and post - tests.The researcher has randomly chosen education directorate of al - Rusafa /2 of among six directorates and by the same method. It has been chosen the Martyr Nadhim intermediate school where it has been randomly chosen three sections of students of among five sections which are ( B,C,D) and by the same method ; the section B represents 1st experimental group , section C represents 2nd experimental group and D represents the control group. The sample amounts 90 students , 30 students in the 1st experimental group who have studied with strategy of trainer , 30 students who have studied with strategy of existing - mistakes and 30 students in the control group who have studied with the traditional method. Equivalence has been carried out amongst the three groups in the variables ( test of intelligence , test of acquiring geographic concepts , former marks of geography subject, time multiplied with months and educations for the parents). It has been verified the internal and external safety for removing the effect of internal variables that could affect the followed - up variables. The educational substance in the geography subject has been specified , it has been analyzed the content of the subject as to specify the concepts the substance includes. It has been amounted 109 geographic concept. The researcher has randomly chosen 20 concepts for building a test of geographic concepts acquisition , taking into consideration the time and the stage for the students. The researcher has prepared the behavior goals that amounted 321 behavioral goal according to the three operations for acquiring the concept ( definition, distinction, application) , it has been prepared 87 studying plan , that every group has ( 29) plan ; besides, it has been prepared a test for acquiring the geographical concepts. The test includes 60 item of multi - test and its psychometric properties. The researcher has confirmed validity and consistence of the test. The researcher has prepared list of geographical thinking skills and then he has exposed them to the experts. Based on their recommendation, the researcher has built a test of geographical thinking acquisition that includes 32 items. The researcher has confirmed validity and consistence of the test and its psychometric aspects. The two tests have been applied after the end of experiment that continued for one studying year as of 11/10/2015 up to 15/3/2016.. After statistically processing by using unitary analysis , it has been indicated the following results : • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between three groups ' grades average in acquiring the geographic concepts and thinking.• There are not statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd experimental group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 1st experimental group. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 2nd experimental group. • There are not statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd experimental group grades averages in geographic thinking test. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 1st experimental group. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 2nd experimental group grades average and control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts thinking. In the light of the results , the researcher has recommended the following : • Directing the geography subject teacher not to use the traditional method , use trainee's strategy and mistake - existing strategy in studying the geographic concepts as having a grand effect on acquiring the geographic concepts and geographical thinking. • Granting the students in the intermediate stage in and outside the school for acquiring the geographical concepts and geographic thinking. The researcher has suggested the following : • Making experimental study that uses other strategies of strategy of learning the activity in acquiring the geographical thinking and concepts. • Measuring the effect of trainer's strategy and mistake - exist strategy in other variables unlike the geographical concepts. • Re - applying strategy of trainee and mistake - exist strategy in other studying stages. • Making a study aiming at knowing the effect of the trainer's strategy and mistake - exist strategy in other variable just like motivation toward geography - trends toward Geography - development multi - intelligences and geographical Concepts Mistake correction

Two null hypotheses have been posed : 1) No statistically significant differences on a level of 0.05 of significance between the mean scores of the experimental group acquisition which is taught by the SWOM strategy, and that of the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy. 2) No statistically significant differences on a level of 0.05 of significance between the mean scores of the experimental group which is taught by the SWOM strategy, and that of the control group which is taught by the traditional strategy in divergent thinking. The present study is limited to 2nd year college students, Department of Educational Psychological Sciences at the University of Wasit, morning studies during the academic year 2013 - 2014. the prescribed textbook is Developmental Psychology for the academic year 2013 - 2014. The sample of the present study consists of 70 males and females distributed on two sections, one is set as an experimental group including 35 students, and the second is a control group including 35 students as well. The experimental group is taught by the SWOM strategy, while the control group is taught by the conventional strategy. Internal and external validity of the experimental design has been proved by identifying the variables affecting the two dependent variables. Behavioral objectives have been formulated totalling as 107 and 26 psychological concepts. Lessons plans have been prepared including 62 for the two groups based on two parts with 14 chapters from their prescribed textbook entitles Developmental Psychology for 2nd year. A pre - post test for divergent thinking has been constructed, as well as psychological concept test of 78 items measuring six levels of Bloom's taxonomy of the cognitive domain has been designed. The test includes MCQ items measuring the following processes of psychological concepts' acquisition : identifying the concepts, recognizing the concept, applying the concept. Validity, item difficulty, item discrimination power, and reliability have all been achieved. The divergent thinking test includes 28 subjective items distributed on 7 domains which are : verbal, expressive, correlational, and thinking fluency; spontaneous flexibility, adaptation, and originality. Validity, item difficulty level, item discrimination power, and reliability have all been proved. Suitable statistical methods have been employed such as two - independent samples, t - test used to equalize the two groups and finding out the statistical differences between the two groups. Results show the superiority of the experimental group which is taught by the SWOM strategy in the acquisition of psychological concepts and the divergent thinking tests in Developmental Psychology. In the light of the above results, the researcher arrived at suitable conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions of further studies.

Abstract: عرض البوستر هو : تقنية ووسيلة بسيطة، من السهل استعمالها، وفهمها واستيعابها. اذ انها وسيلة ممتعة في تدريس مادة المحادثة وهو خليط بين البحث الورقي والعرض الشفوي. فالبوستر هو وسيلة يمكن استعمالها ؛ لايصال الفكرة الاساسية المتعلقة بالبحث او الدرس. ويع | Poster presentation is a simple media, which is easy to be used, understood, and comprehended. It is an interesting media in teaching speaking. It is hybrid between a research paper and an oral presentation. It is visual medium that is used to communicate a key idea related to research. It presents an idea in verbal and graphic ways and a dynamic way to share information in a social context with conference delegates.It combines text, graphs, tables, photos, charts, titles, and brief textual summaries of research information to present work in a way that is visually interesting, accessible, and clarity of content. It allows displaying work to a large group and to talk to and receive feedback from in interest audiences.The study aims at finding out the effect of poster presentation on Iraqi EFL University students' oral performance. It is hypothesized that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group which is taught according to poster presentation technique and that of the control group which is taught according to the currently used technique in their oral performance.The procedures undertaken in the present study include choosing a pre - post control group design; selecting a representative sample which has been divided into two groups experimental and control; constructing an oral post test, and securing its validity, reliability and practicality; applying the classroom students - made poster presentation technique on the experimental group, while the control group has been taught conversation by the currently used technique; administering the post test to both groups at the end of the experimental work; collecting , computing and analyzing data by using suitable statistical tools; and The sample of the present study consists of 101 students from the Department of English Language at the College of Education/ Wasit University during the academic year 2014 - 2015. The sample has been distributed into an experimental group of 48 students and a control group of 53 students. Both groups have been equalized in some variables, namely age, gender, parents’ level of education, and the pre test.A post test has been designed and exposed to a jury of experts for the purpose of ascertaining its face validity, while reliability has been ensured by using Person Correlation Formula. Data has been analyzed by using the two independent samples t - test. Results show that there are statistically significant differences between the two groups in their mean score in favor of the experimental group which has been taught by poster presentation. The students of the experimental group are better than those of the control one in their oral performance. This indicates that teaching conversation by using the poster presentation technique is more effective than teaching by the currently used technique method. Based on the present study results, suitable conclusions, recommendations, and several suggestions for further research have been put forward.
