And showed the search results there are statistically significant to the level of first - among university students and in favor of the sample mean, and also there are differences between males and females the level of first - in favor of females, and also indicated the results and there is statistically significant to the level of motivation workmanship among university students, and in favor of the sample mean, and also no statistically significant differences between the males and females in the motivation and the interest of the female, and the results showed also on the enjoyment of university students external tuning center where the test samples t for sample one and there is a statistically significant difference between the theoretical average and arithmetic average of the sample, the difference for the benefit of the arithmetic average, and there is a correlation positive statistically significant between proactive and relationship (motivation workmanship and the center of the outer - set) and is a negative correlation between proactive and internal control center as well as to the motivation of workmanship, and the results showed an equal proportion of the contribution Tzhmha both the motivation and the workmanship center settings.Researcher some possible recommendations for destinations that can be learned and recommended that the current results of the research are : 1 - study of factors affecting the first - such as student oriented decision - making, and provide leadership and motivation, and responsibility.2 - provide the appropriate atmosphere to ensure the stability Gamahokhash with respect to students, as this is one of the important factors in ensuring that they have the motivation workmanship.3 - broaden the base of participation in the decision - making process at the university so that the participation of educational institutions and research centers, businessmen and those concernedAs well as the proposed establishment of some studies including : 1 - proactive motivation and its relationship with the workmanship and the locus of control to the junior high school students.2 - First - time management and its relationship with the university students.3 - Carry out a similar study of the current study, but at the level of the central region in Iraq.

Abstract: The rise and development of any society can be measured through the cognitive successes that may individuals get of these societies, and these societies can also be vanished through the cognitive failures that may happen, because knowledge is the reason of each development and arise and this knowledge may fail in some societies and if so, this will cause many problems to these peoples and societies, a lot of evidences points to that most of the learners do not complain of learning being hard and of some difficulties in it as much as they complaining of difficulties in remembering and learning these information, a modern point of view asserted that information do not disappear from the memory but sometimes we fail in re - remembering or recognizing them and this because we did not symbolized or saving them accurately which leads to failure in remembering such information, or the events that may take place during the cognitive treatment and reducing the degree of interest and attention of the individual during the treatment. And the procedures of cognitive controlling assist the person to control the important cognitive processes such as attention, perception, memory and using information through the awareness of these processes that require ability or dependent behavior and cognitive flexibility.Recent study aims at knowing the effectiveness of a counseling program depends on cognitive controlling in reducing cognitive failure for the students of College of Basic Education, and this can be through deriving the following hypotheses : 1. There are no statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of experimental group samples and the mean of those of the control group in the pre - test to measure cognitive failures.2. There are no statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance among the mean scores of experimental group samples in both the pre and posttest to measure cognitive failures.3. There are no statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of male experimental group samples and females of the same group in the pre - test to measure cognitive failures.For the purpose of measuring the following variable represented by cognitive failure, the researcher himself prepared a scale constructed according to the definition of Broadbent for the cognitive failures who defines it as “Individual failure in dealing with information he had or face, whether remembering or recognizing experience related to this information or the process of using it in accomplishing a task.” The scale consisted of (43) items formulated literally, the researcher checked out the psychometric features of the scale through procedures of validity and reliability.To achieve the aim of the study and its hypotheses, the researcher followed the experimental design that comes with the nature and variables of the study. The sample of the study is (24) male and female students from both the department of Sciences and Psychological Counseling in College of Basic Education whom their scores were too high in cognitive failures, they distributed randomly into two groups (experimental group and control one), (12)male and female students for each group. The researcher depending upon using the two groups design of pre and post tests, equivalence of variables has been done through(students’ scores in cognitive failures, father and mother education, arrangement of the birth in the family, age for each student).The counseling program depending upon cognitive control has been used with the experimental group only, there were two sessions per a week of (45) minutes, the total number of sessions was (12) counseling sessions and this requires using (SPSS) as an analytic statistical program for social sciences. The researcher use the following statistical tools in treating data : (percentage, t - test of two independent samples, Pearson Coefficient, mean, standard division, Chi - square (x) Good fitness test, Kolmogorov - Smirnov test, Mann - Whitney test, wilcoxon test, and the equation of the size of the impact of the nonparametric tests).The results pointed to the following findings : 1.There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of experimental group samples and the mean of those of the control group in a pre - test to measure cognitive failures, for the benefit of experimental group.2. There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance among the mean scores of experimental group samples in both the pre and posttest to measure cognitive failures, for the benefite of posttest.3. There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of male experimental group samples and females of the same group in the pre - test to measure cognitive failures, for the benefit of female students.And the effectiveness of the counseling program depending on cognitive control in reducing cognitive failures appeared for the students of College of Basic Education highly.The researcher presented a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions in the light of the findings of recent study.

Therefore ; the researcher has adopted (( Ellis theory )) for the irrational ideas in her research. This research aims at know : The effect of the cognitive counseling program in reducing Intoleration in thinking for female students of preparatory stage , through the following hypotheses : 1 - There is no statistically significant differences at the level ( 0,05 ) a mongs the ranks order of the scores of the control group in pre and post test. 2 - There is no statistically significant differences at the level ( 0,05 ) a mongs the scores of the experimental group before and after applying the program. 3 - There is no statistically significant differences at the level ( 0,05 ) a mongs the ranks order of the scores of the control and the experimental group in the post - test. The Population of research consisted of ( 2764 ) female students in the Prepartory and secondary schools for the General Directorate of Diyla AL - Khalis district. The sample of the research has chosen randomly asit consisted of ( 399 ) female students from AL - Iraqia preparatory school for girls and from the fourth and fifth classes ( Literary and Scientific ). AL - Azergawi scale ( 2007 ) has been adopted for the intellectual Intoleration. This scale has been exposed to ajury members of experts in psychology and Psychological counseling for ensuring the face validity. The reliability of the scale has been calculated by using test - retest. Cognitive counseling program has been constructed according to ( ELLIS ) theory. The number of counseling sessions were ( 16 ) and the face validity has computed by exposing the Program to ajury members of experts in the psychological counseling. The researcher concluded l hab : 1 - There is no statistically significant differences at the level of ( 0,05 ) between the rank orders of the control group in the pre - test. 2 - There is no astatistically significant differences at the level of ( 0,05 ) of the experimental group before and after the application of the program. 3 - There is no statistically significant differences at the level of ( 0,05 ) between the rank orders of experimental group and the control group in the post - test and for the sake of the experimental group. To achieve these aims the researcher translated Wales and Daves 1994 thought Control strategy Scale and it Was submitted to a group of professionals and experts Who Confirmed the scale's validity. Then it Was applied on a sample of (400) students (males and females) to obtain The Scale's psychometric Characteristics. Items discriminations face validity , translation validity , factorial validity Construct validity and reliability are computed. Reliability by Cronbach's Alpha method Was ( distraction 0.38 / social control 0.43/ anxiety o.71/ punishment 0.55/ re - appraisal 0.46). so the scale is ready to be applied, with (30) items and a hypothetical mean of (75) the reaches also adopted mindfulness Scale langer's 1992, with (20) items and a hypothetical mean of (40) witch Was submitted to a group of and experts for validity confirmation. Then the scale Was applied on the some sample to obtain its psychometric Characteristics. Items discrimination Difference significance , face validity , translation validity , construct validity and (reliability) are computed. By the use of split - half method reliability was (0.38) before correcting , (0.55) after correcting with Spearman Brown equation and (0.56) by the using of Cronboach's - Alpha method. thus , the scale was ready to be applied.The results of the current study show that the sample students have both thought - control strategies and mindfulness and that the mostly used strategies are (re - appraisal social control and distraction) respectively. It is also shown that there is significant differences in the use of some thought - control strategies according to gender in favor of. Females in (worry / social control and re - appraisal) strategies , But no significant difference is shown for (distraction and punishment) strategies , Finally it has been shown that there is a strong relation (0.99) Between the two variables (thought - control strategies and mindfulness) and that mindfulness can predict thought control strategies used by student which proves the above - mentioned hypothesis to be true. Based on these result the researcher presented a set of recommendations and suggestions for future research's.

The current research has strived to realizing the liaison correlations among skills of self - affirmation, the emotional Stability and the moral principles for the educational advisers in Baghdad governorate at the general directorate of educational in KARKH and RUSAFA, and of both general( male - female) and the research sample consisted of (300 ) of educational he/ she advisers chosen from the six general directorate of Education, and the results have revealed that the educational advisers of the current research sample enjoyed skills of self - affirmation, emotional equilibrium and in the moral values, the results have displayed also, that the period of service have been contrasted in the three variables, one for the short period and second for short period service, and third for the long period of service for each service separately. The results have proved that there is positive liaison correlation among the three variables of the research, skills of, self - affirmation, emotional equilibrium and the moral principles, and the current research has come up with anumber of recommendations and suggestions.

Abstract: حظي تاجيل الاشباع (Delay of Gratification) على انتباه قليل في مجال التعلم الاكاديمي، على الرغم من ارتباطه بمجموعة من المحددات الدافعية التي تشير الى الميول الدافعية لدى المتعلمين في المواقف الاكاديمية التي تمكنهم من تبني استجابات محددة تجاه بدائل الاشباع | Delay of gratification acquired little attention in academic learning field although it is related with several of motivate limits that indicates to motivate trends of the learners in academic attitudes which make them able to adopt certain towards immediate gratification substitution and delay substitution. This concept is considered one of the psychological and knowledge necessities that help the students to achieve and promote and achieve academic objectives. It is related to other variables such as personality traits and tendencies of achievement objectives.The present study aims at knowing the postponing of academic gratification and personality traits and the tendencies of the achievement objectives for the students of Baghdad University as well as knowing the range of contribution of each of personality traits tendencies of achievement objectives in delay of gratification of the students of Baghdad University. The researcher adopted the scale of postponing of academic gratification which is prepared by (Bembenutty and Karabenick 1998a) which she translated from English to Arabic.It includes (10) items distributed equally on two components (social academic gratification and nonsocial academic gratification) with four substitutions for the answers in addition using Cattell’s test for the sixteen factors (p.16) to measure personality traits. Four of the personality traits were used based on a summary picture adopted by the researcher (Al - Rubaye) which were distributed as the following enthusiasm against tranquility (13) items, boldness and dare against fear (12) items, self - trust against hope losing (13) items and experimentation against reserving (10) items. In addition building of a scale of the tendencies of the achievement objectives according to the quadruple model by (Pintrich & Schunk 1996) to measure the tendencies of the achievement objectives of the targeted group. The scale contains (50) in five scales distributed on four fields. The researcher made sure of the standard characteristics of the research tools by apply the scale on sample of (320) male and female students chosen by random class. Final application sample amounted to (500) students as (226) male students and (274) female students from Baghdad University who were chosen randomly. After applying the research tools and analyzing data the researcher concluded the following results : 1 - University students are characterized by instant gratification in performing their studying tasks. 2 - University students are characterized by traits of (boldness, self - confidence, experimentation and tranquility).3 - University students enjoy high capability of performing tasks by all the objective tendencies. 4 - There is a relation between postponing of academic gratification and personality traits for University students.5 - There is a relation between postponing of academic gratification and the tendencies of the achievement objectives for University students.6 - There is a relation between personality traits and the tendencies of the achievement objectives for University students.7 - The relation between the variables of this research are interactive among themselves and their influence is variable and exchangeable According to these results the researcher introduced the following conclusions : 1 - University students are characterized by instant gratification in performing their studying tasks.2 - University students are characterized by traits of (boldness, self - confidence, experimentation and tranquility).3 - University students enjoy high capability of performing tasks by all the objective tendencies. Also the researcher introduces several recommendations, the most important are : 1 - Encourage teaching staff in the university to make programs of training and educational instructions in studying rooms to invoke and train the students on delay of gratification and practice self - control.Also the importance of teaching the students how to develop their awareness of the future objectives to test positive and negative results that are related to their objectives.2 - Teaching staff members have to enroll the students in learning activities that increase their desire in academic delay of gratification and train the students how to overcome the distractions during studying their lessons, as well as how to face attractive instant substitutions to support their academic delay of gratification which lead to raise their studying performance.Also the researcher introduces some suggestions, the most important are : 1 - Studying the relation between academic delay of gratification and its motive elements and expose the best motive elements in predicting of academic delay of gratification.2 - Experimental study to research the relation between student preference to academic delay of gratification and their real behavior.

The sample is selected from (8) humanity and scientific colleges , distributed as (216) male and female students at the humanity colleges in the amount of (92) male and (124) female , and (184) male and female students at the scientific colleges in the amount of (52) male and (132) female. The total student male were (144) , and total student from female were (256) Three instrument have been employed : 1. Thinking styles Positive and Negative scale consisting of (36) items , by (18) items for type constructed by the researcher herself.2. Emotional memory scale consisting of (45) items constructed by the researcher herself.3. Freibarger personality traits scale (1970) which has been translated into Arabic language by Alawi on the Egyptian environment. The Arabic version of this scale consists of (56) items distributed on (8) triats. The psychometric features of the three instruments have been achieved including face validity , construct validity , discriminating power , as well as reliability coefficient has been computed by using test - retest and Alpha - cronbach methods. The following statistical methods have been used : ( Chi Square , one sample t - test, two independent samples t - test , two interrelated samples t - test , Pearson correlation coefficient, Alpha cronbach , Two way Analysis of variance with interaction , Multi - regression analysis , point - biserial correlation , and Fai correlation).After analysing data statistically , results show the following : 1. University students have a positive thinking type. 2. University students have a good emotional memory. 3. Depression trait is dominating in university students , and have a low level of personality traits (neurosis , aggressive , irritable , social , calm , controlled and regulated). 4. No statistically significant differences between males and females in thinking type positive and negative , Humanity specialization students are superior to scientific ones in positive thinking type , No interaction has been found between gender and specialization in thinking type positive and negative. 5. No statistically significant differences between males and females in the emotional memory , Humanity specialization students are superior to scientific ones in emotional memory , No interaction has been found between gender and specialization in emotional memory. 6. No statistically significant differences have been found in personality traits (neurosis , aggressive , social , controlled) , There are statistically significant differences in the following personality traits (depressed , irritable , calm , regulated) in favor of females , No effect for academic specialization on the personality traits (neurosis , aggressive , depressed , irritable , social , controlled , regulated) , There is a statistically significant difference in the academic specialization in calmness trait in favor of the scientific specialization. There is no interaction between gender and Specialization variables in personality traits. 7. The contribution of negative correlation statistical significant between positive thinking types and personality traits (aggressive , depressed , irritable) , There is a positive correlation of statistical significant between positive thinking type and personality traits (social , calm , controlled , regulated). - The contribution of positive correlation statistical significant between negative thinking type and personality traits (aggressive , depressed , irritable) , and the contribution of negative correlation statistical significant between negative thinking type and personality traits (social , calm , controlled , regulated). - The contribution of negative correlation statistical significant between the emotional memory and personality traits (neurosis , depressed) , There is a statistically significant positive correlation between emotional memory and calmness. - There is a contribution of the positive thinking type in the following personality traits (depressed , social , calm , controlled , regulated) , and there is no a contribution of the positive thinking type in the personality traits (neurosis , aggressive , irritable). - There is a contribution of the negative thinking type in the personality traits (aggressive , depressed , irritable , social , calm , controlled , regulated) , and there is no a contribution of the positive thinking type in personality traits (neurosis). - There is a contribution of the emotional memory in the traits of (neurosis) , and no a contribution in the other personality traits. Finally , suitable recommendations and suggestions for farther studies have been put forward.

The application of these two measures was on a sample of ( 300 ) students at Al - Mustansiriya University Studies in the morning study. The sample is chosen by using the stratified random equally on both majors (Scientific and , Humanitarian ). After making ascertaining of the discriminatory power of the two scales items, their validity has been ascertained by using face validity and construction validity. After that the reliability has been ascertained by using the test re - test method ( external consistency ) and the method of Alpha Cronbach ( internal consistency ). To find the search results , the researcher has used the appropriate statistical means, including Pearson correlation coefficient and t - test samples for one sample and binary variance analysis. After analyzing the data statistically, the researcher has reached to a number of results, they are as the follows : 1. The most common style among university students is the social style. It is the only positive style of the styles that have been studied , ( control style , the taking style , the style of avoidance , social style ).2. There are no significant differences in ( the style of taking , social style) on in accordance with the type variable (male , female) , while the results show the existence of significant differences in the ( control method ) the differences are in favor of males , and significant differences in the ( differences style avoidance ) in favor of females. While statistically significant differences do not appear in lifestyles according to the variable of area of study (scientific, humanitarian).3. The results show that university students have the characteristic of taking responsibility.4. The results do not show statistically significant differences in taking responsibility according to the variables of gender (male , female) and specialization study ( scientific , humanitarian ) and the interaction between them.5. The results show an inverse relationship among the (control style, taking style, and avoidance style) and take responsibility. While the results show a positive relationship between the (social style ) and take responsibility.In the light of the achieved results, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations including : • The guidance centers in universities and seminars have to encourage the social style. Abstract: The study aims to identify the relationship between visual selective attention and ( reflection / impulsivity ) cognitive style at University of Baghdad students ? the significant difference of these variables according to ( gender , major , class ) ? and to find out the extent of contribution of the cognitive style ( reflection / impulsivity ) in visual selective attention at University of Baghdad students.To achieve the aims of the study , two instruments have been used. The first one is the visual selective attention test which has been constructed by the researcher. While the second instrument is the Familiar Figures Matching test to measure ( reflection / impulsivity ) cognitive style.The two tests have been applied on a sample of ( 400 ) male and female students which has been selected through a random stratified method from University of Baghdad students in the academic year ( 2014 ــ 2015 ).After the application of the tests , the collected data has been analyzed statistically by the use of the following statistical means : chi ـ square , tـ test of one sample , three ways analysis of variance , pearson correlation coefficient , and multiple regression formula.The main findings of the study are : 1 - University of Baghdad students yield a good level in visual selective attention.2 - The number of reflective students is found to be ( 107 ) , of impulsive students is ( 81 ) , while the number of neutral students is ( 212 ).3 - There are statistical significant differences in visual selective attention in favour of the scientific major , while it is found that there are no statistical differences in this variable according to gender and class.4 - There are statistical significant differences in the cognitive style ( reflection / impulsivity ) according to the variables of major and class but there are no statistical significant differences in this cognitive style according to gender variable.5 - There is a statistical significant negative ( inverse ) correlational relationship between visual selective attention and the variable of error as regard to the reflective students and for the whole sample.6 - There is a statistical significant positive correlational relationship between visual selective attention and the variable of time for the whole sample.7 - For the reflective students , the variable of error contributes significantly in the difference of visual selective attention level which contributes in its effect more than the other variables.Relying on the above findings , the researcher has presented a set of recommendations and suggestions.

So targeted Current search to identify the emotional deprivation and psychological security and avoidant attachment and factors it among university students, and see significant differences in each factor of them according to gender, specialization and class, and to identify any of the predictors of emotional deprivation and psychological security can predict every predictor of predictors attachment avoidant. In order to achieve the aims of the research were designed scales Find three, a scale of emotional deprivation and a scale of psychological security and the scale of avoidant attachment depending on the theory Bowlby, it consisted of emotional deprivation scale of (34) items distributed on four components, and consisted of psychological security scale of (25) items distributed on three components,and consisted avoidant attachment scale of (28) items distributed on three components, and used the method of report statements in the drafting items of the three scales, put in front of each item (5) scalable alternatives to answer is (always, frequently, sometimes, seldom, never) be given to them when correction degrees (5, 4, 3, 2, 1), respectively, formulated with the items of measurement concept, it reflects the correction of items formulated unlike measurement concept. Applied three scales on the sample amounting to (400) students from Al - Mustansiriya University students were selected style class random, were verified from the distinction power of the items of the three scales using the extremist groups style and correlation of the degree of each item to the total degree of the scale, the validity were examined of three scales through face validity and constructing validity by the examine construction of infrastructure for each scale, which showed the presence of four factors emotional deprivation is empathy and family relations and emotional maturity and psychological adjustment , and the presence of three Factors psychological security is Emotional Support and social relations and Stress and threaten situation, and the presence of three factors to avoidant attachment is the fear of closeness and self - reliance and suspicion and lack of trust with others, and examined researcher of the reliability of the three scales by two method re - test and analysis of variance using the equation alpha Cronbach of the scale as a whole and for each factor of factors scale, and reliability coefficients were all good. The data were analyzed using the Statistical package of Social Sciences(SPSS) and the results showed : - 1. The university students do not suffer from emotional deprivation, and they have a sense of psychological security, and have no avoidant attachment.2. There are differences statistically significant in three of emotional deprivation factors according to the variable of academic specialization.3. There are differences statistically significant in the first factor of psychological security according to variable gender and bilateral interaction (gender× specialization), and in the third factor according to the variables of gender, specialization and class.4. There are differences statistically significant in the first factor of the avoidant attachment accordance with the bilateral interaction (gender×class), and in the second factor according to variable class, and in the third factor according to variable gender.5. There is a gathering of three predictors are emotional maturity and empathy and Stress and threaten situation interpreted (27.3%) of the fear of Closeness of the avoidant attachment.6. There is a gathering of three predictors are social relationships, empathy and emotional maturity interpreted (28.8%) of the self - reliance of the avoidant attachment.7. There is a gathering of four predictors are emotional maturity and family relations, social relations and psychological adjustment interpreted (16.9%) of the suspicion and lack of trust with others to avoidant attachment. Learning is strongly related to Memory, for, if we have nothing from our old experiences, we never learn anything.If man had been able to remember what he learnt, or, had there been any possibility for preserving facts, concepts and skills, tests would have been very easy and our information would have been extensive, but all these are contrary to reality. The deficit of working memory affects the operations of organist ion, storage, restoring, defining and re - learning. Operating memory represents a system that work for encoding supplying and transmitting information to the long - term memory, therefore any weakness or disturbance in any one of the working memory operation (encoding, storage and restoring) would expectedly lead to many difficulties in many academic activities. Furthermore, the quantity of information that can be kept in this memory limited to nine units. These units are either letters or short syllable. This is reflected in the individual's ability to deal with events and situations and consequently it affects the nature of the individual's personal relationships and his psychological structures that formed his personality which consists of important dimensions that to gather form his personality. Among these dimension are two that of the (extroversion - introversion).These two represent dipolar continuum that have the highest extroversion in an extreme and the lowest introversion in other extreme and individuals lie in different degrees on this continuum. Memory is a fundamental element in learning process and, especially, in learning the academic skills because we depend largely on our past experience in learning, and through using memory, an individual can interact with information by preserving, storing or restoring it. Memory is one of the most investigated cognitive operations by long studies for a long time. The increasing concern in memory is due to its extreme importance as the pivot that cognitive operations orbit around. The rational and sensory perception, learning and thinking all depend on recalling past images. Memory occupies an important position because it highly affects psychological life. Rational perception depend on recalling past images, also, the personality depend in recalling the past, but for the memory we have personality and rational perception. Researchers have concerned them self with working memory because the latter is the component of memory that has a major role in information processing. Most of the studies that dealt with the two dimensions of personality (extroversion - introversion) refered to the importance of these two dimensions as the most significant constituents. Among these studies are ( Barkat's , 2008) (AL - Isa's , 1969) and (Sharif 's ,1995). Adolescence is one of the critical stages of individual's growth; rather it is the most complicated and the most effective stage in his future life, so the researcher has paid a great attention to this stage through studying the adolescent's problems at the academic, hygienic, emotional, economic, family levels. The present research aimed to defining the following points : 1 - The working memory in extrovert male students of intermediate school. 2 - The working memory in introvert male students of intermediate school.3 - The difference in working memory between extrovert and introvert male students of intermediate school.4 - The difference in working memory between extrovert and introvert female students of intermediate school.The sample of the study was chosen randomly and the study was applied to (400) students of (4) intermediate school : (200) male, (200) female. In order to achieve the aims of the present research, Ezenck's list of personality was adopted. Further. A working memory test was constructed after acquaintance with several prior studies. The data were statistically analyzed and processed by using the statistical package (SPSS) by using (T test) for two independent samples, Cronbach's Alpha, skeness, kurtosis, chi - square, phi coefficient, and Point - Biserial. The research came up with the following finding : 1 - Extrovert male students of intermediate school haven working memory. 2 - Introvert male students have a working memory in less degree than extrovert. 3 - There is difference in working memory between extrovert and introvert male students in favor of the extrovert male students in the intermediate school. 4 - There is difference in working memory between extrovert and introvert female students of intermediate school. According to the finding of the research, the researcher recommends the following : 1 - Teachers have to pay attention to student's personality including all the cognitive and emotional aspects. 2 - There must be suitable training programs in order to prompt the sufficiency of introvert student's working memory and to increase the sufficiency of extrovert student's long - term memory. 3 - Teachers should be trained on how to treat students in accordance with their individual differences which are apparent in the personal characteristics. Certain suggestions were made : 1 - more studies that tackle the relationship between the personal characteristics and the ability to remember should be conducted on new samples and in different academic stages. 2 - A comparative studies should be made between extrovert and introvert students on the long - term memory. 3 - More studies dealing with comparison of working memory according to gender and age should be conducted

The importance of authentic happiness comes from it’s being a positive influence on people's lives, and achieving it is the desired goal sought by every one of us. The process of detecting authentic happiness in students in the university depends on the nature of their basic psychological needs and their personal factors or traits. This research targeted the identification of the basic psychological needs and the big five personality factors and authentic happiness among university students, and to identify the extent of the contribution of every need of basic psychological needs and every trait of the big five personality factors in the prediction of each of the components of authentic happiness.In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher built the two scales of basic psychological needs depending on Deci and Ryan's theory, and the big five personality factors depending on Costa and Macri’s theory. The researcher also adopted the scale of Seligman and Peterson for authentic happiness which is translated to Arabic by (Muammriah 2012). The scale of basic psychological needs consisted of (24) items, distributed on three aspects. The scale of the big five personality trait consisted of five of (44) items distributed on five aspects. The scale of authentic happiness consisted of (48) items distributed on six aspects. The three scales were applied on a sample amount of (400) students from the University of Thi - Qar, Chosen according to Stratified random sampling. A verification was done to the discriminatory power of the items of the scales of basic psychological needs and the big five personality factors, and the correlation degree of each item with the overall degree for the two scales. Also the validity of the two scales were verified through the validity of content and structure, as well as conducting validity and reliability of the Saljman and Patterson’s scale. The researcher and check the stability of the three scales factors using the test and retest and alpha Cronbach's equation.The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences SPSS and the results showed : ­ That college students have satisfied the basic psychological needs and have the attributes of big five personality factors and feel authentic happiness.­ The existence of a positive indicative correlation between the psychological needs function and of the big five personality factors and authentic happiness.­ There's a gathering of four predictors : the competence need, factors of neuroticism, extraversion, and openness to experience interpreted (21%) of the first component (wisdom and knowledge) for authentic happiness.­ There’s a gathering of five predictors : the competence need and the need relatedness, and factors of neuroticism, tolerance, and the Conscientiousness, interpreted (24.5%) of the second component (courage) to authentic happiness.­ There's a gathering of four predictors : the competence need and the need relatedness, and Agreeableness and openness to experience interpreted (15%) of the third component (love and humanity) for authentic happiness.­ There's a gathering of four predictors : the competence need, factors of neuroticism, openness to experience, and Agreeableness interpreted (14.5%) from the fourth component (justice) for authentic happiness.­ There is a gathering of six predictors : the competence need, and the need relatedness, and factors of neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, and the Conscientiousness interpreted (14%) of the fifth component (moderation) for authentic happiness.­ A gathering of five predictors : the competence need, factors neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, Agreeableness, interpreted (19.8%) of the sixth component (transcendence and spirituality) for authentic happiness, and in light of the results of the research the researcher provided some recommendations and proposals

The sample includes the students of both (24 ) colleges of human sciences and (12) colleges of pure sciences. The research sample was consisted of 400 male and female students from colleges of Baghdad University for full time studies. The research sample was selected randomly and consisted of 200 male students and 200 female students from both colleges of pure sciences and colleges of human sciences.Scale of Emotional RegulationThe scale of emotional regulation was adopted in English Language and then was translated by the researcher. Furthermore, the Psychometric features were verified through the translation validity, apparent and constructive reliability and discriminative power. The consistency principle was verified through the test and retest, as the correlation coefficient reaches to (0,80) and the reliability reaches to (0,83) byfollowing Cronbach's alpha statistic tool and therefore the measurement scale was consisted of 54 items.The Negative and Positive Thinking ScaleThis scale was constructed by the researcher through deriving the psychometric features of (Apparent reliability, constructive reliability and discriminative ability ). The consistency coefficient reaches to (0,80) and therefore the measurement scale was consisted of 58 items.The Statistical MeansIn this research , the researcher used the following the statistical means : T test for one sample, T test for two independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient, Sperman Brown's correlation coefficient, Cronbach's alpha correlation coefficient , three - way analysis of variance, Multiple Regression Analysis and test (or chi - square test. The Research Findings Through this research, it is concluded that : - 1 - University students have good level of emotional regulation.2 - University students utilize a strategy of positive reevaluation. They use a strategy of striving for social support. They followed the problem solving strategy. The disclaiming strategy was pursued by students.3 - There are no significant statistical differences in emotional regulation in terms of (sex, field and specialization and the grade).4 - The concluded results show that there are no significant statistical differences in strategies of emotional regulation in terms of (sex, field and specialization and the grade).5 - The outcomes found that university students have a good level in terms of positive thinking.6 - The concluded results show that there are no significant statistical differences in positive and negative thinking in the light of (sex, field and specialization and the grade).7 - Strategies of emotional regulation contribute to the negative and positive thinking.ConclusionsIn the light of the research outcomes, the researcher concluded the following : - Strategies of emotional regulation have an effect in thinking manner, i.e. the individuals who utilize strategies of emotional organization in a good way, they would have a positive thinking.It is concluded that the university should set up a training programs on utilizing strategies of emotional regulation for various groups of community and to all age groups for its significance in achieving the psychological adjustment and mental health. The researcher suggested several similar proposals to be approached and studied in future

These decide the personality characteristics and the ability to direct the thinking towards a specific target, decide the abilities level and the individual life style. Suppression is a strategy of emotional regulation that aims at diminishing or ending behavior of emotional expression both negative and positive. The literature shows that suppression loading the individual with negative effects on the psychological, mental and social aspects. The suppression may give the person feeling of release for short period but the suppression as a habit for emotional regulation destroys the health of the person in the future. Self - regulation is an individual awareness and his/her understanding of the work implementation and the ability to self - assessment regularly. According to Bandura, self - regulation is the individual ability to control his/her behavior. The individual becomes self - regulated when he/she has own thoughts concerning the suitable behavior that decides the right things to do. The present study aims at : 1. Finding out the extent of the university students emotional suppression.2. Comparing the means of the emotional suppression according to the sex and academic specification variables.3. The extent of self - regulation of university students.4. Comparing the means of the self - regulation according to the sex and academic specification variables.5. The relation of emotional suppression and self - regulation of the university students.6. The extent of contribution of the self - regulation fields in the university students' emotional suppression.In order to verify the aims of the study, the researcher constructs a self - regulation scale and adopts (Talib, 2013). The pilot study is implemented on a sample of (400) university students both humanities and scientific specifications to find out the validity and reliability of the scales.The scales are applied on a sample of (400) university students. After analyzing the data statistically, the results show that : 1. The university students have near the medium level of emotional suppression and higher than medium level of self - regulation.2. The emotional suppression concept and self - regulation concept are related in reversal relation, i.e. if the self - regulation increases, the emotional suppression decreases.3. However, the standards by which our behaviors are measured have altered a long time ago, declined and quickly directed towards decadence and moral collapse.But some people who have a pure conscience and a feeling of social responsibility, those who consider moral standards as an index of a work and a rigid principle expressed in their daily life are suffering now from emotional and moral torment. And when they act or work in a way that does not conform to the valuable or moral standards, they undergo from a moral anxiety that affects their dreams, thoughts and fantasies.From this point, the problem of the present research has been developed in order to know whether the students of the secondary stage are suffering from the moral anxiety or not, however, the problem is determined in the following questions : - Is there moral anxiety in the students of the secondary stage? - Is there a correlational relationship between moral anxiety and the ranks of identity? - Do the ranks of identity contribute in moral anxiety?As for the importance of the research, it concentrates in dealing with the secondary stage students who are in the adolescent stage which isregarded as the most critical stage in life because of the physical, mental, emotional and social changes that occur in it and because such changes may cause some problems, let alone, it is considered as a decisive stage in the human growth.It is the stage in which the issue of identity must be confronted and resolved, in order for the adolescent to constitute a self - image that has meaning and value for himself. Although the interest of researchers in investigating anxiety in all its types, but there is a great shortage in investigating moral anxiety, especially in the adolescent stage and its relationship with the ranks of identity, thus, it is necessary to put emphasis on these two aspects and explore them.According to the afore - mentioned, the aims of the present research are determined in knowing the following : 1 - The level of moral anxiety of the secondary stage students (fifth class)?2 - The significance statistical differences of moral anxiety according to gender (male/female) and branch (scientific/ literary).3 - The ranks of identity of secondary stage students (fifth class) who have moral anxiety, and this requires : a - The rank of identity diffusion.b - The rank of identity locking.c - The rank of identity delaying.d - The rank of identity attainment.4 - The differences in identity ranks according to gender (male/female) and branch (scientific/literary).5 - The correlational relationship between the moral anxiety and the identity ranks, which requires : a - The moral anxiety with the rank of identity diffusion.b - The moral anxiety with the rank of identity locking.c - The moral anxiety with the rank of identity delaying.d - The moral anxiety with the rank of identity attaining.6 - The contribution of all ranks of identity in the moral anxiety.In order to achieve the aims of this research, the researcher has prepared a scale for measuring moral anxiety and adopted (Al - Ghamidi 2005) scale of the ranks of identity, where both of them have the psychometric properties such as validity and reliability.As for the sample of the study, it is chosen from the secondary schools that belong to the General Administration of Al - karkh the first by the categorical random method. The construction sample consists of (400) students, where the two scales have been applied on them sequentially. The final application sample consists of (500) students, (250) males and (250) females from the scientific and literary branches.To ascertain the aims of the research, the researcher has treated the data statistically and has arrived at the following : - The first aim : the researcher has used the T - test for on sample in order to know the level of moral anxiety of the secondary stage students, where the counted T - value is (286.36). - The second aim : the researcher has used the bivariate analysis where the result shows that there are statistically significant differences between males and females, however, the counted F - value is (6.444). The results also demonstrate that there are statistically significant differences between the scores of students according to branch (scientific/literary). - The third aim : the researcher has used T - test for one sample in order to know the identity ranks of the sample who have moral anxiety where the results show that the students who have moral anxiety are in the rank of delaying identity where the counted T - value is (40.816). The results also show that they are in the attaining rank of identity, where the counted T - value is (41.896). - The fourth aim : she has used the bivariate analysis in order to know the differences in the ranks of identity according to gender and branch. The results show that there are statistically significant differences among the scores of male and females in the rank of identity diffusion for the benefit of males, where the counted F - value is (14.350). The results also show that there are no statistically significant differences according to branch (scientific/literary) in all the ranks. - The fifth aim : the researcher has used Pearson coefficient correlation in order to know the correlational relationship between moral anxiety and ranks of identity. The results demonstrate that the relationship issignificant and correlational between moral anxiety and the ranks of (delaying and attaining), and there is no correlational relationship between moral anxiety and the ranks of (diffusion and locking). - The sixth aim : the researcher has used multiple regression analysis to know the contribution of each rank of identity in the moral anxiety. The results show that there is a predicted relationship between the ranks of identity and moral anxiety. The first contribution is for the rank of delaying identity followed by the attaining identity, but the result show weakness in the contribution of (diffusion and locking).From the afore - mentioned findings, the researcher has put forward a number of recommendations and suggestion.

And checking of standard properties and the standard of reflective thinking applied and the test of the cognitive potentiality on as ample of fine art students in Baghdad, Mosul and Basra amounted(363) he/she students, chosen randomly, and after gathering data the processing them by using suitable statistical means , and the researcher has reached the following results showed according to the research objectives : First objective : ? Participants have aesthetic production.? Participants of males have aesthetic production? Participants of females have aesthetic production.Second objective : the male of the sample individuals have aesthetic production more than female of the sample individual.Third objective? The second tool : Measure of tow type of personality was prepared by the researcher The researcher investigated the psychometric features (Face Validity, Construct Validity, Discriminative Power), and reliability through using (Test - Retest Method) the correlation coefficients (0, 82), and the final measurement consisted (48) items. The Statistical means were used as the following : Pearson Correlation Coefficient, One simple T - test , Two simple T - test , analysis of Variance with interaction, chi - square test, Alpha Cronbach Coefficient , Point Biseral Correlation Coefficient , Scheffe , Regression Analysis. The research found the following results : 1. University Student have a high level of self - monitoring.2. The majority of students have personality type (A).3. There is no difference in self monitoring according to type and education specialization, while there is difference in interaction. 4. Female students have personality type (A), while the males have (B) and (AB).5. There is positive joining relationship statistically cursor between self - monitory and personality type (B).6. Statistics analyses for the data come up with the following results : 1. The extra protective style is the dominated style because of the higher frequencies it has gained.2. There are statistically significant differences for exclusive personality disorder, Histrionic personality disorder, schizoid personality disorder and Periodic personality disorder. But there are no statistically significant differences for Oppressive personality disorder. 3. The non protective sample show that there are no statistically significant differences for father's death, age and gander variables.4. The non protective sample for exclusive personality disorder, The Oppressive personality disorder, Histrionic personality disorder, Oppressive personality disorder and Periodic personality disorder show that there are no statistically significant differences according to father's death, age and gander variables. But the schizoid personality disorder show that there are statistically significant differences according to father's death, age and gander variables.5. The results of non protective sample show that there are no statistically significant differences for the relation between non extra protective styles the formative personality disorder except the histrionic personality disorder show significant differences. According to the results several recommendations and suggestions have been set forwards

In contrast, when individuals act with less attention; they need to be more determined concerning the varieties and events of the past.As a result, they become unaware of the characteristics that create the individual condition. During the last 2 decades of the 20th century, light has been shed mostly on self - regulated learning as an outcome of the learning process and facilitates it. Students’ motivation must be developed in order for them to be more self - regulated and that can be achieved through developing their self and sense of responsibility by self - determination. The key objective of self - regulation is to help the individual in controlling his behavior when the individual start having thoughts about the right or wrong behavior and to act base on it. Bandura sees that people have the ability to control their behavior and this enable them to practice controlling thought, emotions, motives and actions. The problem of the current study is represented in asking about the nature of the possible correlation between mindfulness and self - regulated learning within specific demographic frame of an important social category represented in university students where no previous researches or theories have agreed on the nature of the relationship between those 2 variables. As far as the researcher concerned, there is no local study has tackled this vital topic within this wide and important class of the society, which is the youth.The objectives of the study : 1 - Measuring mindfulness among the sample of the study. 2 - Measuring mindfulness among the sample of the study according to the variables of gender (male - female) and the academic disciplines (humanities - sciences). 3 - Measuring self - regulated learning among the sample of the study. 4 - Measuring self - regulated learning among the sample of the study according to the variables of gender (male - female) and the academic disciplines (humanities - sciences) and evaluating their statistical significance. 5 - Identify the nature of the correlation between mindfulness and self - regulated learning among the sample of the study. The study sample is consisted of 400 male and female student selected randomly from 8 colleges in University of Baghdad; 4 humanities colleges and 4 sciences colleges. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a measurement tool for mindfulness has been prepared in light of the measurements, literary references and previous studies that addressed this variable. Items validity of the current measurement has been verified by the consultants committee; 1 item excluded, linguistic amendments suggested, and response replacements have been approved. After analyzing the items using the 2 extreme - group method and the relation of the item degree with the total degree of the measurement, all of its 25 items have been approved. As they scored stability factor average of (0, 71) according to the split - half method and (0,82) according to Coefficient Alpha method. For the second variable, self - regulated learning, the researcher used the self - regulated learning measurement which was prepared by Al - Suraifi in 2008 and contains 39 items in its final form. Its reliability was extracted by split - half method with average of (0,85) and Coefficient Alpha method (0,93). Conclusions : .1 - The current study sample have mindfulness 2 - There are no differences in mindfulness among university students in terms of the variable of gender (male - female) and the academic disciplines (humanities - sciences) and the interaction between them. 3 - The current study sample has sense of self - regulated learning.4 - There is a significant statistical difference in self - regulated learning according to the variable of gender (male - female),and no significant statistical difference differences in self - regulated learning according to the academic disciplines (humanities - sciences) or in the interaction between gender and discipline. 5 - There is a positive correlation between mindfulness and self - regulated learning, the highest the self - regulated learning is, the highest the mindfulness among university students. Finally the study set out a number of recommendations and proposals.

Abstract: ان العصر الـذي يعيش فيـه الانسان يتـسم بالتغير السريع والتقدم المذهل في شتـى المجالات (الـتربوية، والسياسيـة، والاقتصاديـة، والمعلوماتية)، ومــع زيادة التقـــدم العلمي واتساع مطالب الحياة زادت حاجة الطلبة للتحكم بافكارهم، وسلوكـــهم، وافعالهم، اذ يـواجـه | The era in which man lives is characterized by rapid change and stunning progress in various educational fields, political, economic and informatics With the increase in scientific progress and breadth of the demands of life increased the need for students to control their thoughts, and their behavior, and their actions, as the students have difficulty in regulating their behavior and control and may result about it some unrest in their value system, the problem of current research proceed from the fact that a university student faces many challenges and live are conditions volatile is concerned and the loss of hope and increase psychological pressure brought by wars and borne out of the occupation and leave the negative effects in the individual values and self - governed, and identified the problem question follows : Is there a correlation between self - control and values system?The importance of research is concentrated in that talking about collectors students, where the university youth an important segment of the society as the backbone that effectively contribute to building a society, in order that the concept of self - control value system and the layout of the important psychological concepts that are closely related to the manifestations of human behavior which is of the basic concepts in the formation of character university student, prompting the need for, and importance of the study of these variables among university students.Based on the foregoing objectives identified current research, including the following : 1 - know of self - control among university students.2 - know of the differences in self - control depending on the variable kind (males - females) and specialization (scientific - humanist).3 - know of value system with university students.4 - know of the differences in the value system depending on the variable kind (males - females) and specialization (scientific - humanist).5 - know the correlation between self - control and value system.6 - contribution value system in self control among university students.In light of these goals, the researcher identified a set of hypotheses seeking to be tested statistically.To achieve the objectives of this study were prepared researcher self - control and value system standards as they meet psychometric characteristics of reliability and validity, either the research sample was selected from the scientific colleges and Humanities of the University of Baghdad, and the way stratified random regular, reaching a sample of tow standards (400) students and the standards applied to them successively, either the final sample application has reached (450) students of (225) male and specialty (scientific - humanist), and (225) female, specialty (scientific - humanist).And to verify the objectives of the study data statistically processed researcher and come to the following : - First goal : researcher used test of one sample was used to learn self - control when university students, reaching T value calculated (21.786) This means that students score higher than the theoretical average degree, which confirms that they have the self - control. - The second goal has been achieved through the use of two - way analysis of variance and the result showed that there were statistically significant differences in the basic variables (kind - specialization) and bilateral interaction between variables. - The third objective : the researcher used the arithmetic mean and standard deviation to know the layout value system, came the order of moral lines as follows : the value of peace, the value of self - esteem, moral value, intellectual value. - Fourth objective has been achieved through the use of two - way analysis of variance, and the result showed that there are differences statistically significant differences in the basic variables (kind - specialization) in favor of females and allocated to the humanitarian, bilateral interaction between the two variables. - The fifth goal : has been achieved through the use of Pearson correlation coefficient, where he found that there is a correlation between self - control and value system. - The sixth goal : researcher coefficient of determination and multiple regression coefficient was used has been found to keep the format moral contribute to the prediction of self - control.Depending on the results of this research, the researcher developed recommendations and proposals

1 - learning methods varied between the respondents as they have used all methods but with varying levels we find that the divergent method is the highest among the duplicates and% of 38%, then the asymptotic method of percentage of 29% and inclusive method of percentage of 75%, and finally the adaptive method of percentage of 56%.2 - There is no difference with statistically significant differences in learning styles depending on the variable type (male, female) and was Kay square value calculated (5.01) at the level of significance (0.05) and the degree of freedom (3) which is smaller than the value of Chi - square tabular adult (7.81).3 - There is no difference with statistically significant differences in learning styles depending on the variable specialization (scientific, literary) as the value of the calculated Chi - The Sample of the Research Consisted of (40) Students from the 4th grade science preparatory Students in the centre of Baghdad, This Sample was distributed into four groups, three groups of which was about (10) students they are called experimental groups, while the fourth group was the (control group) which consisted of (10) student too. This Sample was tested on (Balkease Paraportoty School for girls, (2014 - 2015). The Experimental Design was of a Partial set which is about designing a non - random control group with a pre - and post test. To achieve the goals of this research, the researcher built an assessment to assess students perserveance, which consisted of (40 item), (20) of those assess the mental side, while the other (20) assess the physical side, After extracting its consistency, integrity and discriminatory power for its points by using cay square and the relation of its points with the whole finale grade of the assessment. The reliability of the test was figured out by two ways which are reading the test and the partia distribution, thus, the reliability coefficient was (0.76) by using the first way, while it was (0.79) by using the second way. The researcher also adopted the assessment of achievement goals for the researcher (Sadik Khadim Jerew Al - Shimri) for the year (2011) and this is after extracting its integrity and consistency. Further more the Researcher also adopted the cross shapes for assessing the different mental capacity for (Jan Baskaloony), Which has been translated and prepared by the researchers Isa'ad - Al - Bana and Hamdi Al - Bana for the year (1990). Thus the Tools of the research became ready to prastige as pre and post assessments. Regarding to the Programme, the Researcher has prepared its activities and Procedures Depending on the theoritical framework for teaching thinking for "Debono" It Consisted of 18 training sessions, Before applying the programme, the equavielance between the three experiemental groups and the control group in the changements of (Intelligence, age , Mother's work, pre test) was done. The Achievement of the test took a month and a half starting from the 9th., of Nov. till 23rd of Dec. for 3 classes a week. The Results Showed the Following points : 1. The Students ownd the percervance touch which proves their percervance on facing the problems they go through. 2. Classifying Students according to their different levels mental capacity. Most of the students have an intermediate level of mental capacity, While the rest of the students are classified between having a high mental capacity and a low one. 3. There differences of statistical significance in the training programme for perseverance of different mental capacity students (High - Intermediate - Low) to guide the orientation of achievement goals (pre - test performance) for 4th grade science pre partory students. 4. There are differences of astatistical significance in the training programme for perseverance of different mental capacity (High - Intermediate - Low) to guide the orientation of achievement goals (pre - test performance) for 4th grade science Stusents. 5. The Unvalidity of the effectiveness of the training programme for perservance of different mental capacity (High - Intermediate - Low) in acievement goals (Mastery). 6. Irrational beliefs among university students.2. Expectations of success and failure with university students.3. Relationship between irrational beliefs and expectations of success and failure with university students.4. Difference in the relationship between irrational beliefs and expectations of success and failure among university students according to the gender variable (Males - females).5. Differences in the relationship between irrational beliefs and expectations of success and failure with university students on variable according to specialization (scientific , human).In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher build irrational beliefs scale according to the definition Iron Beck Consisting of (54) items, and adopted a researcher expectations of success and failure for a measure (Fibel & Hale) Consisting of (30) items after translation and adaptation of the research sample. It was extracted the psychometric properties of the two scales is applied to sample consisted of (400) male and female students of university students, was calculated force discriminatory to paragraphs, and the sincerity of internal consistency for them, The researcher used two methods to extract the two reliability coefficient, namely : the method returns, and (equation alpha - Cronbach), and the reliability coefficient, respectively : (0,84), (0,90) to measure irrational beliefs (0,81), (0,89) to measure expectations of success and failure.The two scales are administered to sample consisted of (500) male and female students of university students, after applying both research tools to the sample and data analysis, the researcher has arrived at the following result : - University students have the irrational beliefs. - Percentage of students who expect success outnumber students who expect failure rate. - There is an inverse relationship between irrational beliefs and expectations of success and failure. - No statistically significant differences in the relationship between irrational beliefs and expectations of success and failure on the differences in accordance with the variable sex. - No statistically significant differences in the relationship between irrational beliefs and expectations of success and failure on the differences in accordance with the variable of specialization.Researcher These results were interpreted based on theoreticalframeworks, in the light of the study the researcher has many conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.

Many difficulties and problems are identified during this stage, a Adolescent might consider these difficulties as challenges that would test his 'self' and his 'potentials'. Parents might have a very crucial role in either increasing or eliminating these challenges, facilitating at the same time the Adolescent period for their offsprings, making it easy, smooth, and crisis - free. The main process that a Adolescent stage undergoes is separation process, which is characterised by the desire of the Adolescent to be independent in performance and action. The Adolescent's desire to be independent is quite normal; on the contrary, it is one of the manifestations of teenaging merits as well as one of its biggest problems. The perfect outcome that stems from Adolescent separatism process is unique identity formation preserving at the same time the tendency to identify with others. Hence, the process of developing an identity starts when the crisis of identifying existence mixed with anxiety and worrying about what suits him best of principles, beliefs, goals, roles, and social bonds of value and meaning both on social and personal level. The research aims at : 1. Measuring Adolescents' separatism individuality.2. Identifying Adolescents' separatism individuality in two samples (12 - 15) years old and (16 - 19) years old.3. Measuring identity crisis found in Adolescents. 4. Identifying identity crisis found in Adolescents in two samples the (12 - 15) year old sample and the (16 - 19) year old sample. 5. Finding a connection between separatism individuality and identity crisis in Adolescents.In an attempt to realise the ultimate goal of the research, the research constructed a scale for both variables separatism individuality and identity crisis, measuring their validity and the distinctive features of the items.The reliability factor of the separation individuality scale according to the method of retest is 0.90 and 0.84 according to Alpha Crunbach. The reliability factor of identity crisis scale according to the retest method is 0.97 and 0.80 according to Alpha Crunbach; they were applied afterwards to a sample of (300) fe/male Adolescents who were selected randomly from different schools of Baghdad. After processing the data statically by the statistic pouch SPSS, the researcher has come up with the following findings : 1. The sample does not show any separation individuality case.2. There are no statistic differences between the two samples, the (12 - 15) year - old sample and the (16 - 19) year - old sample.3. The sample shows identity crisis.4. There are no statistic differences between the two samples, the (12 - 15) year - old sample and the (16 - 19) year - old sample.5. There is a statistic connection between the two variables : separation individuality and identity crisis.A number of recommendations and suggestions for further future research are proposed according to these findings

The psychological flow of the study sample according to the independent variables (gender, grade, the school, the creative work, the parents' encouragements.3. The creative personality traits of the study sample.4. The creativity of the study sample according to the independent variables (gender, grade, the school, the creative work, the parents' encouragements).5. The creativity according to the flow dimensions.6. Comparing the distinguished students and the normal students in creativity according to the flow dimensions.In order to verify the study aims the researcher has translated and adopted the flow scale of (Marsh & Chackson, 1996). Furthermore the researcher has constructed two scales one for measuring the creative personality traits and the other for measuring the creative work that the students present for measuring creativity.After assuring the validity and the reliability of the instruments, they have administered to the study sample. the purposive sample of (256) students have been selected from the students of Al - Mutmayzeen secondary schools and their peers from other secondary schools at the secondary schools of 1\2 Al KarKh Education Directorates and 1\2 Al Rusafa Education Directorates. According to the statistical analysis of the data the results show that : 1. The flow dimensions that have got the higher orders are the Autotelic experience and then the clear goals. On the other side the low orders are of merging of action and awareness and distortion of the sense of time2. There are statistically significant differences of the psychological flow dimensions in some of the independent variables (gender, the school type, the parents' encouragement and the creative works). On the other side there are no any significant differences according to the grade variable. 3. The higher order of the creative personality traits are of the following traits : need to success, sense of humor, self - trust. The low order traits are : unusual thoughts, order rejecting, and unadjusted with group.4. There are statistically significant differences according to the independent variables : (gender, grade, and creative work). On the other side there are no any significant differences according to the (school type and parents encouragement).5. Al the flow dimensions have the same order for the individuals and the prevailing dimension is autotelic experience.6. Variation in the flow dimensions order for the distinguished students and other students. The equality in flow dimensions for the students of mid creativity for both distinguished students and other students.According to the results, several suggestions and recommendations are set forwards

The following statistic means were used : ( : (Chi - square test, one sample T - test, Two independent sample T - test, Alpha Cronbach Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, Two way analysis of variance with interaction, & Multiple Regression analysis). The current research found the following results : 1. Over excitabilities types dominance among students is the (emotional, imaginative, sensory, mental, motor), respectively.2. There should be a balance between physical and spiritual needs, as approved by experimental research, and the latter can include the individual's needs for peace and secured life. The Iraqi society has been suffering from black terrorism since 2003, and a group of people has suffered from terroristic attacks making them disabled victims affecting negatively their psychological health and state, and increasing feelings of restlessness, anxiety, hopelessness and negative passions accompany their life. It is because of this, the need for the present study arises. The study is based on the importance of psychological needs and their role in the psychological improvement of disabled people, as they have a positive impact on individual's psychological state like happiness and hope. The study aims at identifying spiritual needs and the role of hope for disabled victims of terroristic acts. It identifies the spiritual needs and hope in relation to the variables of gender, age and disability level. It also identifies the relationship between spiritual needs and hope, and the parameters of spiritual needs like content, peace, and sublimation, and their role in hope prediction. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher has adopted Bosnik's theory of spiritual needs (2010) and Lazaros's theory of hope (1999). The sample of the present study comprises of 269, aged between (18 - 80) years old, divided into males (165) and females (104), and disability average ranging between (60 - 100 %), during 2003 - 2016. The researcher has designed an instrument of spiritual needs and hope, and the data are analyzed through the use of t - test, Pearson correlation coefficient, ANOVA, and linear regression of the SPSS package. Validity and reliability are investigated and approved. Results reveal that : 1. An increase in fulfilling the spiritual needs of the research sample. It is calculated as (45.5) which is higher than the tabulated value amounted to (1.96). 2. The sample of this research is optimistic. The calculated t - test value is read as (16.4) which is higher than the tabulated value amounted to (1.96).3. There are significant statistical differences in favor of spiritual needs in relation to age. The calculated f - value is (4.63) which is higher than the tabulated value amounted to (3.84). Concerning the variable of gender and the disability average, there is no significant statistical difference. Also, no significant difference between hope and the variables of gender, age and average of disability is found. 4. There is a positive relationship between spiritual needs and hope for the study sample. The research has been concluded with a number of recommendations. It is necessary to activate the role of psychological counseling in rehabilitation centers for disabled people to satisfy their spiritual needs. Besides, ministries in charge are responsible for hiring psychological counselors to deal with disabled people to raise their spirits and support them psychologically. The researcher has suggested a similar study but on different samples from the Iraqi society like normal people or people with cancer. Also, a study on the relation between spiritual needs and psychological health, life satisfaction, psychological flexibility, positive thinking, optimism and happiness can be conducted.

All the previously mentioned circumstances make the individual feels disappointment and refuses him\herself. furthermore, the bad expectations of the future, pessimistic thoughts, fear, and instability lead to the curving down the positive thinking and turned towards negative thinking. Accordingly the study problem can be stated as the following question : ( Are there correlation between self - insight and positive - negative thinking of university students?) The importance of the study based on the importance of the sample since the sample is represented by the youth and the university students. The youth ability of self - insight is an important challenge to change the society and turned from negative into positive thoughts. This study aims at : 1. Finding out the self - insight of university students.2. Finding out the differences in self - insight according to the gender and specification factors.3. Finding out the positive - negative thinking of the university students.4. Finding out the differences in positive - negative thinking according to the gender and specification factors.5. The researcher constructs two scales as study tools, one of them is an insight scale of (35)items and the another one is the positive - negative scale of (33) items. The tools are administered after finding out their psychometric characteristics.Several statistical tools are used to finding out the results such as : one sample T - test, analysis of variance, person correlation coefficient, and regression analysis.The results show that : 1. The students have self - insight.2. There are no differences in self - insight according to the gender and specification factors.3. The students have positive - negative thinking.4. There are no differences in positive - negative thinking according to the gender and specification factors.5. There is correlated relationship between the self - insight and positive - negative thinking.6. There is predicted relationship between the positive - negative thinking fields and self - insight represented by the directed thoughts towards the self.According to the results several recommendations and suggestions are put forwards.

The researcher choosed "the structure sample" from the students of Al - Mustansiriya university represented by the colleges of "Breeding/ Guidance dept., Arts/ psychology dept., sciences/ physics dept., and engineering/ road & rasport dept." & which were totaled to " students and they are the same "the applied on sample" for not falling of any of the item in the distinguishing power. They were choosed from the original society of Al - Mustansiriya university students who are totaled to "29.744".The researcher prepared three tools for his dissertation and they are : "power tool, freedom tool, and responsibility tool" and that the researcher followed the scientific steps in Building the psychological scales extracting the availability indications which are : 1. the apparent availability : where it was showed to a group of experts.2. the structure availability : it was done through : A. the item connection to the total score of the scale.B. The scale connection to its fields. And it was clear that all the modulus of connection between the scale & its fields are of statistical indication at level (0 - 05).C. Inner connection matrix.Stability was extracted by two ways which are : 1. re - test : where stability for power was "84%", for freedom was "81%", and for responsibility was "83%".2. Al Phakronpakh : where the stability modulus for power was 85%, for freedom was 83%, & for responsibility was 85%.The researcher seek the aid by the statistical pouch spss in extracting the results. And the results showed the following : 1. the students in Al - Mustansiriya university did not enjoy power according to reality therapy theory where the results showed that the difference has a statistical indication for the benefit of the assumed medium and at level of 0.05 and with a freedom degree of 399 where the sample respond medium was lower than from the assumed medium. Where the calculated "T" value of the scale was 5.234 and it is higher than the table value which was 1.96.2. the existence of power was the same for males & the females where the results showed that the difference has no statistical indication where the calculated "T" value was equal to 0.955 and it's less than the table value which was 1.96 at level of 0.05 and with freedom degree "398".3. the students of Al - Mustansiriya university do not enjoy freedom withen reality therapy theory. Where the results showed that the difference is of statistical indication for the benefit of the assumed medium and at level of "0.05" and with freedom degree of 399 where the sample responses medium was lower than the assumed medium. Where the "T" value of the scale was 16.385 and it is higher than the table value which 1.96.4. the existence of freedom was the same for males and females, where the results showed that the difference is not of significant statistical indication. Where the calculated "T" value equal 0.823 and it is lower than the table value which is 1.96 at level of 0.05 and with a freedom degree of 398.5. the students of Al - Mustansiriya university enjoy responsibility within the average within reality therapy theory where the results showed that the difference has no statistical indication at freedom degree 399 and at level of 0.05 where the average of sample responds was little lower from the assumed average, where the calculated "T" value 0.256 and it is less than the table value "1.96".6. the existence of responsibility was the same for males & females. Where the results showed that the difference has no statistical indication. Where the calculated "T" value equal to 0.132 and it is less than the table value which is 1.96 at level of 0.05 and with a freedom degree "398".7. the existence of positive indicated relation between power, freedom, and responsibility.8. we conclude that power & freedom participate in responsibility.

The researcher aimed to identify the organizational affiliation to the workers in media institutions, and to identify the differences between them according to the institution kind and gender, and to identify the Conflict handling of Styles among workers in media institutions, and to identify the relationship between the Conflict handling of Styles and organizational affiliation with the media. To achieve the goals of research, the researcher adopted the Conflict handling of Styles of scale to deal with the conflict of Roih (2007) and constructive organizational affiliation scale according to pattern of Meyer and Allen (1997) and a number of items in the final is (44) items were distributed among the three organizational affiliation components, the emotional has (16) items, the continuous has (15) items and the standard has (13) items. The application of current research applied on a sample of (382) employees in the media, and current research results : showed - 1. The media people (the research community) are characterized by a high degree of the organizational affiliation, and the females are more organizational affiliation than the males, and it did not show any differences in the organizational affiliation according to the variable of type of institution (government - independent). 2. The style used by the media people in handling with the conflict are (the integration, compatibility then avoidance and finally the styles of harmonization and coercion.3. There is a statistically significant difference in style of handling with the conflict (integration, compatibility, avoidance, and harmonization) among the workers in the governmental and non - governmental institutions and in favor of employees in government institutions, while it did not show any clear difference in style of coercion.4. The Research has shown that there is no statistically significant difference between the media people according variable Gender (Female - Male) in their tendency to use the methods of dealing with conflict (integration, compatibility, avoidance, harmonization) except for coercion style, as there was a statistically significant difference between the media males and females in favor of males.5. The results showed the existence of a strong positive correlation between organizational affiliation and styles of integration and compatibility, also it showed a weak relationship between the styles of avoidance and harmonization and organizational affiliation, and it showed an inverse relationship between organizational affiliation and style of coercion. Based on the outcomes of the research, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations and proposals.

Abstract: يهدف البحث الحالي استعمال انموذج راش للاحتمال اللوغاريتمي لاعداد اختبار الاستدلال التخطيطي لدى طلبة جامعات بغداد. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف, اتبع الباحث الخطوات العلمية في اعداد الاختبار بدءا بترجمة فقرات الاختبار والتعليمات من اللغة الانكليزية الى اللغة العربية، | The Present Study aims at Preparing The Diagrammatic Reasoning TestFor the Students Of Baghdad Universities. To Achieve this aim, Scientific Steps are followed Starting with the Translating the Items and its Instructions from English into Arabic, then re - translated the Arabic version into English, taking into consideration the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the whole ideas included in the test. Several modifications are required by translation experts and which were considered later. Then the Arabic version of the test is exposed on an Arabic Language expert who recommended certain modification in the style of the Arabic translation, and which were all taken into accont. The final Arabic version of the test is exposed on a number of experts in the field of Educational and Psychological Sciences in order to check its suitable characteristics as well as those of the alternatives with respect to form and content. Consequently all the test items are considered logically suitable to achieve the aim of the present study. The test is applied on a pilot sample of (20) male and female students in order to ensure the clarity of the test items and instruction, and to estimate the time required to respond to the test and which is fond out to be (50) minutes. The test Has applied on a stratified random sample of (500) male and female university students from the stage, morning studies in the formal universities in Baghdad. Rasch model for logarithm probability has been employed, which is one of the latent trait models, to analyze the components of the test. To verify the model assumptions, the following steps has been employed : 1. Uni - dimension : To verify this assumption factorial analysis of the test is applied by using the essential components. One meaning full factor of the test is obtained which is interpreted by the lower limits of Guttmann which considers the factor to be statistically significant since its Eigen value equals or up the one, and depending on a ratio of 0.30 - up to the items saturation ratio by the general factor according to Guilford's norm. No item has been deleted from the test by the applied statistical program. In addition to this method, the compellation coefficient method is applied by finding out the relation of the items come to the total score of the test. which shows that all the items have been statistically significant and positive through comaring it with the tabulated value on (498) degree of freedom and (0.05) level of significance.2. Matching the items of the model depending on the (Chi² value) according to the outputs of the program. 3. Because of the range of the compellation coefficient did not exceed ( 0, 426 ) , Amean is ( 0,338 ) , Astandard deviation ( 0, 171 ). So these values indicate to values discrimination to each test items is symmetric.4. Measurement independence which achieves objectivity represented by Rasch's model, for no item is eliminated.5. In order to get rid of fractions and negative signals (i.e. minus), the logget unit is changed in to the percentile WAT unit to find out the items difficulty and the individual's ability estimation. In the light of the statistical analysis above, suitable conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions for further studies are put forward.

Cognitive style (Physiognomic - literal ) at Baghdad university students.2. The differences in statistical significant in cognitive style (Physiognomic - literal) at Baghdad university students according to variable of gender, specialization and studying stage.3. prevailing mood styles at Baghdad university students.4. The differences in statistical significance in prevailing mood styles at Baghdad university students according to variable of gender , specialization and studying stage. 5. The correlation relationship between cognitive style (physiognomic - literal) and prevailing mood styles at Baghdad university students. And identifies current research on the Baghdad university students in scientific and humanitarian faculties of four years and in two phases ( the first - the third ) of the academic year (2014 - 2015). in order to achieve the goals of current research , the researcher performed : . a. Adoption scale ( Al asadi , 2010 ) in cognitive style (Physiognomic - literal) according to klein’s theory , component of (26) paragraph in its primary wording and (18) paragraph in its final wording , after verification of its sincerity and its invariability. b. Building styles mood scale with five methods according to theories of keirsey , Thomas and chase , and these methods are : . ( Extraversion - Introversion ) , ( Sensation - Intuition ) , ( Thinking - Feeling ) , (Giving judgment - Perceptive) and (Obedient - Disturber) , and component of (90) paragraph in its primary wording and ( 75 ) paragraph in its final wording. After verification of its sincerity and its invariability. the researcher and then apply the two scales on a sample of Baghdad university students were chosen way stratified random and component of ( 480) students , and after application of two format research and the use of appropriate statistical methods in the light of research goal were reached to the following results : 1 - Sample of the current research enjoy with cognitive physiognomic style. 2 - Existence of differences with statistical significance with cognitive style (physiognomic - literal) at the students according to variable of gender and in favor of males and according to variable of specialization and in favor of scientific specialization. 3 - Tend scientific and humanitarian departments students to the mood styles (Extraversion , Sensation , Thinking , Giving judgment , Obedient).4 - Existence of differences with statistical significance for the mood styles according to variable of gender and in favor of males and according to variable of studying stage and in favor of the first and according to variable of specialization and in favor of humanitarian specialization. 5 - Existence a relationship positive correlation between cognitive physiognomic style and extraversion style at Baghdad university students. - In through of the results , the researcher propounded a number of recommendation including : - Including educational curriculum variety activities and applications special with mood styles help the students to identify about their distinctive mood styles and raise their awareness by them selves. The researcher presented a number of proposals including : Proceeding studying about the cognitive style (physiognomic - literal) and it’s relationship by entrance of the study at middle school students

Abstract: يسعى البحث الحالي الى مقارنة الخصائص القياسية لاختبار فليب كارتر المتقدم للذكاء لدى طلبة الجامعة على على وفق القياس (معياري ومحكي ) المرجع.ولتحقيق هذا الهدف اتبع الباحث خطوات علمية في اجراءات تحليل اختبار فليب كارتر على على وفق القياس معياري المرجع، فق | The present study aims at comparing the psychometric Properities Of IQ Advanced Test by Philip Carter For University’s Students According to (Norm - Criterion) Referenced Measurement. To achieve this aim , firstly Philip Carter Test has been translated into Arabic language , then translated back into English language, and vice versa and showing the tow original copies to an expert in English language , then , the researcher shows the Arabic version to an Expert in Arabic language to check, Then the translated Philip Carter Test, and showing Educational and Psychological Sciences to assume the translation validity of the test item and the an ability of the appropriate character's tics of these items and their options in respect to their form and content, Accordingly, the test items were considered suitable to achieve the aim of the present study. The Test applied on a sample consisted of(50) students selected randomly from Al - Mustansiriya university and university of Technology and it shown that , this practice was clear and understood and the average of answers was only(50)minutes. The test has been applied on (1000) male and female University students who has been selected by the random multi - stage sampling from Iraqi Universities. In terms of the of psychometric Properities of the test, the validity has been achieved , according to Norm - Referenced measurement , by three indices (Translation validity , and face validity , and construct validity) by finding discrimination power and the correlation between the item score and the total score of the scale. Reliability of the scale has been computed by using analysis of variance method (formula) The Test applied on a sample consisted according to Criterion - Referenced measurement based on Rasch's uni - index model which is me, In order to verify Rasch's model assumptions, the following steps are done : 1 - Uni - dimension : To verify this assumption factorial analysis of the test is applied by using the essential components. One meaning full factor of the test is obtained which is interpreted by the lower limits of Guttmann which considers the factor to be statistically significant since its Eigen value equals or up the one, and depending on a ratio of 0.30 - up to the items saturation ratio by the general factor according to Guilford's norm. No item has been deleted from the test by the applied statistical program. In addition to this method, the compellation coefficient method is applied by finding out the relation of the items come to the total score of the test. 2 - Item fitness is another indication that the items do measure the uni - dimention trait. It is found out by computing the Chi - square value on a level of significance of (0.05) as computed by the ICL program, consequently no item is eliminated.3 - Measurement independence which achieves objectivity represented by Rasch's model, for no item is eliminated. After analyzing data in terms of, the(Norm - Criterion) Referenced Measurement below results have been obtained : 1 - Both two Measurements' have construct validity.2 - There are statistically no significant difference is found in favor of reliability coefficients, depending on both methods of two Measurements' (0.05) level of significance.3 - When comparing the criterion error value between the two Measurement, it has been no significant difference is found the criterion error value.4 - The number of the items for both styles has been equal in its final version. Then the researcher to conclusions and to develop a set of recommendations and proposals.

The Researcher has used three Tools : 1 - The Scale of Methods of the information processing styles that had developed by Entwistle & tait 1994,and it was translated to Arabic language and practiced in the Iraqi Environment.2 - The scale of solving problems which was built by the Researcher and consisted of five fields.3 - The scale of Cognitive Failure which was adopted by the Researcher Le Broadbent 1982 and it was translated to Arabic language.The Researcher has confirmed the Vaildity of the three used tools through the Face Vaildity by displaying the terms of measures on a group of Arbitrators in Educational Psychology Science (20 Arbitrators),and the constructive truthiness by the style of the two extremist groups and the relationship of items with total degree for each style or Bfield. The Reliability of three measures was checked by two methods and Re - test and internal reliability (Al phacronbach ). The following statistical means were used : (t - test sample for two independent samples Person correlation coefficient. Alphacronbach equation ,Analyzing binary variation with interaction - test for one sample, multiple regression).The Results indicates the Following : 1 - The students of the University tend to using the strategic style ,and this style distinguishes disabled students to organize their times to reviewing lessons and their negative trends toward study.2 - Essential variations of solving problems for the benefit of females, because females have a pure minds than males, because males are so busy with other works specially in Adolescence age.This matter never cancel the role of student of processing information because males distinguished with abstract thinking in adolescence age. 3 - There is a Cognitive failure among the University students that they got a high marks on the measure of Cognitive failure due to the tensions that suffer from, because of the prevailing conditions in Country, which lead to make a little number of knowledge mistakes or due to neglecting the information and not paying attention to it. 4 - There are Statistically significant variations between males and females in processing information styles and it is for the benefit of University female students.5 - There are Statistical Significant variation between females and males in Spealization for the benefit of Humanitarian specialization.6 - There are no statistical significant variations of interaction between type and specialization in the measure of Cognitive Failure among the University students.7 - There is a positive relationship between the failures of knowledge and superficial style ,the Cognitive failures didn’t participate in the strategic style. The failures of knowledge have participated in two styles the superficial and the depth.

Fear is the main factor that motivates a person to take the means of escape in order to get rid of it or have some resort to drug abuse, and thus missed the opportunity of opportunities psychological and social compatibility through its interaction with himself and with the environment in which they live. The objectives of the present research to identify the following : 1. Trends of secondary school students about drug abuse. 2. Fears of secondary school students about drug abuse. 3. Psychological and social compatibility among secondary school students about drug abuse. 4. Differences statistically significant trends among secondary school students about substance abuse, depending on the variable sex (male / female). 5. Differences Statistically significant in the concerns of secondary school students according to gender (male / female). 6. Differences Statistically significant in psychological and social compatibility among secondary school students to the variable sex (male / female). 7. The extent of the contribution of the independent variables (fears of secondary school students and their agreement psychological and social) in the total variance of the dependent variable (attitudes towards drug abuse). The research identifies the students of the secondary school for the academic year (2012/2013) on both sides of the secondary school in Baghdad (Karkh and Rusafa), and the sample consisted of (300) male and female students by (183) males and (117) females. Has been applied three metrics are : 1. Scale attitudes towards drug abuse. (Prepared by the researcher). 2. Scale fears of drug abuse. (Prepared by the researcher). 3. Scale of psychological and social compatibility. (Been prepared to suit the current research). Achieved a researcher from the indicators of validity and reliability of the metrics used several statistical methods, including : 1. Samples t - test for two independent samples and one sample. 2. Pearson correlation coefficient. 3. Multiple regression analysis. The results of the research findings : 1. Trends moderate secondary school students about drug abuse. 2. Does not have secondary school students concerns about the misuse of drugs. 3. Found the presence of psychological and social consensus among secondary school students. 4. There are no differences in the trends of secondary school students about drug abuse. 5. There are no differences in the concerns about substance abuse among secondary school students according to gender (male / female). 6. There were no differences in the psychological and social compatibility among secondary school students towards the use of drugs. 7. The contribution of each of the independent variables (concerns secondary school students and their agreement psychological and social) in the total variance of the dependent variable (attitudes towards drug abuse among secondary school students). The results shown by the search progressed researcher a set of recommendations to parents, teachers and those who made the educational process as well as the media in order to sensitize them in an exemplary manner, trying to change students' attitudes toward drug abuse and reduce their fears may help their agreement psychological and social development, and a number of proposals for further research
