The researcher used two tools to the Measure of self - awareness of (Gragoli 2011) included of (25)items divided into two sides the special self - persuasion and the social persuasion side.It has been extracted the Psychometric properties of the two tools of the Virtual Reliability, the honesty of building ,the distinguished power to the items and the Relationship paragraph chiefly college degree of the scale and the relationship of the degree of Para degree field and extracted stability test and re - test in a manner bringing the first measure of stability coefficient(0.76)and the Second measure stability coefficient(0.75).The statistical means ,the researcher used the program for Statistical psychological and social science(spss)in dealing the data. The research results : - 1 - University students have self - awareness.2 - University students have social persuasion3 - There are no differences in self - awareness among university students according to Sex, specialization and stage4 - There are no differences in the social persuasion among university students according to gender, specialization and stage5 - There is a significant positive relationship between the variable researches.According to the Results of the current research crystallized some of the recommendations and Propositions

When you meet all the needs of the person feels that he can achieve its objectives and aspires to making it feel happy and extroversion and then stimulated to accept life actively, perseverance and desire to take into account the likelihood of success , but if it fails the individual to satisfy his needs, he feels frustration and pessimism and that he can not to achieve its objectives and making it feel despair and loss of hope and accept life coolly and frequency and is expected failure and was skeptical of success, leading to the loss of satisfaction with his life, which is an important mental health indicator rejoiced rights and happiness and sense of quality of life are all function indicators on the quality of life and mental health the decline of optimism and happiness they are pushing the individual to pessimism. The current research aimed to identify : 1. creative motivation among university students.2. The significance of differences in the creative motivation among university students , depending on the variables : sex (Males - Females ) , a course of study (Scientific - Humanitarian) , classrooms (Second - Fourth).3. The quality of life of university students. 4. The significance of differences in the quality of life of college students depending on the variables : sex (Males - Females), a course of study (Scientific - Humanitarian ) , classrooms (Second - Fourth).5. correlation between motivation, creativity and quality of life among university students.6. significance of differences in the correlation between the creative motivation and the quality of life of college students depending on the variables : sex (Males - Females) , and a course of study (Scientific - Humanitarian ) and classrooms (Second - Fourth).The research identifies the students of the University of Qadisiyah scientific and humanitarian males and females and ranks second and fourth to study the morning of specialization , for the academic year (2015 - 2016).To achieve the objectives of the research researcher depends on the following : 1. At the creative motivation among university students scale, and consisted of the scale was finalized after the completion of the terms of validity and reliability and the ability to distinguish from (36) items distributed among three areas (Motivation , Grandma , Efficiency).2. adopt a quality of life measure of university students prepared ( AL - Gemayel , 2008) , and consisted of the scale was finalized (42) were distributed to paragraph (3) areas of life within the family , within the university life, life in the general environment.In order to achieve objectives of the research , the researcher apply the scales on a sample of (400) students, and then analyzed the data using statistical bagful of Social Sciences (Spss).The results were as follows : 1. that college students are characterized by creative motivation high.2. Creative Motivation is not affected by sex (Males - Females) and a course of study (Scientific - Humanitarian) and classrooms (Second - Fourth).3. that college students have a sense of above - average quality of life.4. There is no difference among university students a sense of the relative quality of life that they were males or females. 5. that college students of humanitarian specialization are relatively more students a sense of scientific specialization quality of life.6. does not have university students that were in the second row or rows fourth relatively sense of the quality of life.7. There is a positive correlation between the creative motivation and quality of life relationship.8. There is no difference among university students if they are male or female or second rows or fourth rows in the creative motivation and their sense of the relative quality of life. While there is a difference in the correlation between the creative motivation andquality of life that they were students of scientific specialization at the university for their peers in the human specialization. In light of the findings of the research , the researcher offers a number of recommendations and proposals.

I4 - It is important to srudy the leaden;hip behaviour of secondary schools head masters and mistress since administration.5 - School administration is put in a position fronting behavioural challenges that requir efficient and s.kil.ful administrative leaders.The.Problem of the Study : IIt is necessary to know and diagnose the differennces in the educational leaders1p and leadership behaviour in their administrative work one can arrive at and limit 1'te scieatific interpretations of the successful of this educaitional institute (school).No to say that the leaderhipl has style clear effect on education our generations and prepartijig them for the future.Aims of the stuely The aims of the present study is to answer the following questions : t' I.what is leadership behavion level that is praetisead by secondary schools head mast according to leudership behaviour test prepared for this purpose 2 - Are there any statistically significant differences between the headmasters and head mastresses in general •3 - Are there any statistically significant differences in the leadership behaviour betwee~ the head masters arid head mistresses in the different respects of the test (responsibilil : y , discipline personality , skill , and administration beliefs ) ?4 - What is the leadership behaviour level of the buildity sample (teachers supervisors , head mesters and mistresses , teaching staff ) on the test iin general. 5 - Are there any statistically significant differency in the leadership behaviour among th~ members of the building sample on the test in general ? 6 - Are there any statistically significant differences in the leadership behaviour between I the members of the building sample , on one side , and the members of the applicatior sample , on the other side , on the test in general ?Limits of the Study : The present study is limited to a sample including number of secondary schools i Basrah city, the academic year of 1998 - 1999. Procedur8y of the study : Firstly : Samples of the study : After limiting the original society of the present research which included (280) seclondary schools, the reseacher chose a randoun class sample of ((75)) head masters an mistresses. The percentage of this random sample constitutes 40% of the original soci Secondly : Means of the study : The researcher uused the leadership behaviour scale of secondary schools hea4 masters and mistresses which he constructed to achhieve his research objectives.Thirdly : Now to test the validity and reliability of the scale : ' ** Validity : The reseacher used three ways to ensure the validity of his scale ; content vaJ lidity , face validity and distingushilg? ** Reliability : Many statistical means were used to investigate the reliability of the scale.Scale stability coefficient was extracted by spli - half ocucording to spareman - Brown formula , it approximates (0,97). According to getman formula , it approximates ((0,98)) and ((0,98)) according to rolson formula. Scale consistency coefficient approac ((0,89)).Fourthly : AppUcatian qf the smfe : After presenting the : items of the scale to the jury and after doing some proced s and the required modifications, the items primarily applied to a random sample of (4 ) healh : nasters to be sure ofv the clarity of the instructions and the interprelation and e meaning of the items. The researcher also applied the scale to another random sample itseached (75) head mascers and mistresses. The reason behind that was to find out the v+.lidity and consistency by statistical means. After proving the above mentioned matterS , the fundamental application of the sc+ ' took place on original sample of (75) head masters and mistresses to measure the leadef - ' ship behaviour level and to know the implication of the differences among the head m~ - ters and mistresses in order to set the comparison.F!fUtly : Statistical Means : The researcher used the following means : 1 - Pcrcentages 2 - Analysis of variance 3 - The coefficient deviation. 4 - Spereman - Browit, Person , Jennan , Rolon , coder Richardson coefficient correlation to find the consist : u cy of the instrument. 5 - The T - test.71te ReS!dts : The results of the present study are summarized as the following : 1 - The secondary school's hedd masters and mistresses have very high leadership behav4 our which proves their efficiency in leading and controlling their schools. ! 2 - There are no differences of statistical significance between the head masters and mis tresses in the general application of the scale except in respect of ((resposibility and skill). Within these two respects , the scale shows significant statistical differences for the sak of the head mistresses.

Abstract: Modern society faces so many domestic problems that drive the youth to think twice on their priorities including marriage and the way of choosing a life partner. Choosing a partner is a very complicated process that needs experience and a skill that could not be available with the youth.One of the crucial decisions that a man make is choosing a partner. It represents the first corner stone in building the expected happiness and prosperity in case this decision is well - made according to reasonable criteria that meet the future ambitions of the person. If the choice is not appropriate for one reason or another it will lead to problems that could threaten the person’s future psychological security.The most differential person is more independent in making up his mind is not affected by others and this reflects his awareness to his personality. According to (Witkins,0191) people with low levels of differentiation are easily subjected to other people’s opinions because they do not rely heavily on their judgments. They respond in a fluctuating way and they cannot make a clear cut line between their ideas and other people’s ideas.The aim of this study is to arrive at a decisive understanding to the psychological differentiation in fourth - year students at the university level. The study also tries to arrive at significant differences according to gender variables, major of study (scientific or humanitarian), and knowing the best criteria for choosing a partner.A random sample of 311 students of both majors is chosen for the present study. Two procedural tools have been used. The first is Al - RamaHI (5103) psychological differentiation scale. The psychometric properties have been verified in addition to validity. Reliability is done by test re - test technique and it is found 18.5. and by Alpha Corenbach it found 1..0. The second tool is spouse choice scale which is constructed by the researcher. The psychometric properties have been verified like face and content validity. Reliability is done by test re - test technique and it is found 18.3 and by Alpha Corenbach it found 1. 90.The main results of the study : 0 - The psychological variable is the most outstanding one in the answers of the sample. It represents choice number one in fourth - year students at the university level.5 - There is a significant difference between psychological differentiation an the choice of a spouse.The researcher arrives at some conclusions as the sample of the study have a psychological differentiation that contributes to the their independence in decision making in addition they have a clear vision in choosing their partners.The main recommendations : Symposiums and lectures should be held to encourage students to achieve independence in taking decisions inclosing choosing a spouse.It is suggested that a study should be conducted on choosing a partner with some psychological factors.

Abstract: Hindrances of cognitive flexibility are represented by the difficulty to use the appropriate strategies to face the different situations that the individual faces, and that learners' tendencies to understand study materials tightly by imposing one knowledge - based system is by all means inappropriate, and the treatment of limited number of the dimensions of the phenomenon is a problem by itself. University students face many hindrances and pressure of different types which play an important role in building their personality sides. The research problem is set by the following questions : Do university students have cognitive flexibility? What is the commonest personality type among them? Is there any relationship between cognitive flexibility and theirpersonality type?Cognitive flexibility, as a mental performance feature, helps the individual to change and multiply ways of mental dealing with matters according to their nature. The ability to change the cognitive strategies that are used in the treatment of the new and unexpected circumstances and situations of the students is an important dimension of the human personality dimensions which cares about gaining new styles of human behavior and get rid of old and static ones. Moreover, the study of personality types and understanding its dimensions and identifying the commonest personality type among students made educationalists and psychologists interact with them seriously and actively. The importance of this research stems from the importance of university students as they are the basic pillar of development, progress and production; they are the builders of the present and future.1. Face validity of the scale has been achieved after being shown to a jury of experts and specialists in the field of education and psychology and psychological measurement.Differential validity of the scale has been calculated through the application of the scale on a sample of (400) students. The stability of the scale has been verified by retest procedure, it was (0.84), and by Alpha Cronbach's method, it was (0.81). The researcher used personality typology scale according to Enneagram (centre of emotions) proposed by (Riso & Hudson, 1995) which was translated into Arabic by (Alyasseri, 2004), which was applied to the Iraqi environment.Personality typology scale (centre of emotions) is composed of three personality types (the helper, the performer, and the individualized). The validity of the scale has been determined by a jury of experts and specialists. The differential validity of the scale has been calculated through applying it to a sample of (400) students. The stability of the scale has been calculated by retest procedure, it was (0.83 the helper type), (0.82 the performer type), and (0.82 the individualized type).The research reached at the following results : 1. Goal number one result has shown that university students have cognitive flexibility.2. Goal number two result has shown that there are no statistically significant differences between the individuals of the research sample according to the gender variable (males - females).3. Goal number three result has shown that there are no statistically significant differences between the individuals of the research sample according to the study specification variable (scientific - human).4. Goal number four result has shown that the highest mean is that of the (helper) type, the (performer) type came in the second place; the individualized type's mean is the lowest.5. Goal number five result has shown that; there are statistically significant differences for the helper type of human study specification. There are statistically significant differences in the performer type between human and scientific study specifications.6. Goal number six result has shown that there are no statistically significant differences in the helper type according to the gender variable. However; there are statistically significant differences in the performer type according to the gender variable for males at the expense of females. There are statistically significant differences in the individualized type according to the gender variable for females at the expense of males.7. Goal number seven result has shown that there is a positive correlative relation (0.981) between cognitive flexibility and the helper personality type, there is a positive correlative relation (0.980) between cognitive flexibility and the performer personality type, there is a positive correlative relation (0.974) between cognitive flexibility and the individualized personality type.In the light of the results, the researcher proposed a number of suggestions and recommendations.

These changes come to be as a natural result for the scientific, technological and industrial development in our world nowadays, which simplified life from one side and complicated it from another side. Consequently, conflicts and problems filled the societies because of the change in life style. New needs come into existence which required varied means of fulfillment and various ways of dealing with such needs in order to achieve the intended goal of convergence to accommodate with the requirements of the changeable environment. Researchers have dealt with the role of attachment in adolescents who are in need for psychological care. They found that the model of attachment in these adolescents to their parents is related to negligence and abuse especially in the case of unsafe attachment in adolescence. That's why abuse experiences, regardless of their being parental or non - parental, make a universal problem, beyond the borders of our society or any other society but rather many human societies suffer from. For this reason, it was the core many researches. The problem of abuse experiences in childhood is one of the problems that impact the development of the individual. The problem of the research can be summarized in the following question : Is there any relationship between models of attachment and abuse experiences in the childhood of students who receive individual guidance in intermediate schools? What kind of relation it is? To answer this question, the researcher adopted three main objectives : 1. Knowing the models of attachment among students who receive individual guidance in intermediate schools according to the variable of gender (male - female).2. Identifying abuse experiences in childhood among students who receive individual guidance in intermediate schools according to the variable of gender (male - female).3. Identifying the kind and direction of the relationship between the variable of the models of attachment and the variable of abuse experiences according to the variable of gender (male - female).To achieve these objectives the researcher designed two scales; one for the models of attachment and the other for abuse experiences in childhood among students who receive individual guidance in intermediate schools. In order to verify their psychometric characteristics of validity and reliability, the researcher calculated both face and content validity. In addition, he calculated the reliability of the scale for models of attachment by the test retest method and the Cronbach's Alpha to measure the internal harmony of the scale. As for the scale of abuse experiences the researcher used the test retest method and the Cronbach's Alpha to measure the reliability of the scale. After verifying the psychometric characteristics of the two scales, they were applied on the research sample which is students, who receive individual guidance in intermediate schools in Di Qar governorate, the research results have shown that : 1. The targeted research sample is not a normal sample; it suffered from problems and difficulties as it tended to adopt confused and avoiding models of attachment and an obvious decrease in adopting safe attachment model.2. A high percentage of the males of the research sample have suffered from physical abuse experiences in childhood, whereas females were more prone to speech abuse. 3. There is a positive correlative relationship between the variable of the models of attachment and the variable of abuse experiences.4. Correlation between safe attachment model and abuse experiences in childhood, in general, was negative. Whereas it was positive between confused and avoiding models of attachment and abuse experiences in childhood.In the light of the results of the study the researcher has come up with some suggestions and recommendations

All these bad conditions have negatively affected the Iraqis’ morals and their ways of thinking. At the level of thinking, some figures suffer from bluntness in that one can notice them thinking in a traditional way. Thus, they become victims of rumors and superstitions. They have often been inclined to believe these kinds of biased circulations. These social rumors and superstitions may be communicated by a numbers od means such as the relatives and social media resulting in making these figures suffer from impressibility. At the moral level, capitalism, expediency and the materialistic tendencies in general have control over the humanistic and moral aspects of life, besides, the expansion of suggestibility and the deterioration of the religious and national impulses and motivations. These have resulted in weakening and destructing the moral ideology which embraces social, moral and practical values for the members of the society specially the officials who have been suffering from weakening or absence of the moral integrity. Accordingly, the aim of the study is to recognize suggestibility and integrity among the officials and to identify the individual differences in relation to tendencies to the number of years in service (lesser than five years or more between suggestibility and moral integrity. To attain the objectives of this study, an equal and random number of officials (4oo males and females) who have lesser than five years in service and more than five years.Two instruments are used in this study. The first one is manipulated to measure impressibility. The researcher has constructed a measurement for suggestibility and its psychological - metric characteristics have been attested such as the explicit honesty and the constructive one. The researcher has noticed a measurement stability via testing and retesting when the correlative factor reaches (0. 87), following cornbach’s Alpha, when the stability value reaches (0.81). appropriate statistical means are used to achieve the aims of this work and the procedures followed. The second instrument is used to measure the moral integrity when its psycho - metric feature are attested ( explicit and structural honest). The measurement stability is tested by the retesting procedure where the correlative factor reaches (0.89) following Cronbach’s Alpha where the stability value gets (0.82). The main results of this work can be summarized as in the following two points : 1) The specimen of this research enjoys a low level of suggestibility and this what enables subjects to criticize, analyze and have self - independence. They also show a considerable level of moral integrity, and of course, there are some individual diversifications from this level which is highly rejected by others officials in that they do represent the majority. 2) There is an inversely correlative relation between suggestibility and moral integrity. The researcher has recommended that the officials should be encourage to think critically and enjoying the moral integrity by holding seminars and symposiums aiming at praising and educating them. The researcher has also suggested some important things such as investigating the type of relation between the political and social levels that are liable to permissibility and moral integrity.

The study was limited to secondary stage students ( 6th grade ) for both genders ( male - female ) in Basrah Governorate for the academic year 2014 - 2015.In the first chapter , the researcher introduces a theoretical and procedural definition of the research variables. In the second chapter , demonstrates a theoretical framework related to the research variables , the vocational selection , theories of vocational selection , the concept of personality styles , the theories dealt with personality styles , vocational environments , previous studies which are reasonably in connection with the subject matter of research along side with a discussion of such studies. Research procedures are specified as follows : Study respondents The community research is represented by the male and female students of the 6th grade - secondary schools in Basrah. Total number is 19202 students of the morning study for the academic year 2014 - 2015. The study respondents are 290 male and female students as - - - - - - sample selected simply and randomly with a percentage no less than 2% of the original community while the sample of the final application is 480 male and female students with a percentage no less than 3% of the original community.Research tools : the research is composed of three tools : The tool of the vocational selection , the researcher built the items of the vocational selection and they were composed of 76 items in their preliminary formulation , divided into six fields : self , social , family , economical , valorem and environmental and personal field and in order to recognize the apparent truth of the tool , the researcher presented the scale before a group of experts and specialized members in the field of psychological counseling in order to evaluate the items whether or not they are fit to measure what they are after along side with suggesting proper modifications in the formulation of items. Consequently , the items approved by 80 % of experts ' approval or more were accepted while the rest which scored les vote were omitted , that is , 29 items were omitted and they were divided into six fields. The Remaining 47 items scored more than 80 % of experts ' approval. In order to know the distinctive truth of the tool , the researcher applied it to a sample of 235 male and female students selected randomly. students ' marks were arranged through a descending order began with the highest mark to the lowest mark in the vocational selection. The tow radical groups were specified with the full mark scoring 27 % out of the sample 's respondents. They were 64 in each group. T. test was applied for two independent groups for the purpose of identifying the denotation of the difference between the two radical groups in terms of each single item of the scale on the basis of that the calculated T force represents the distinctive force of items. It is reported that 6 items were not distinct at the level of 0,05 because the T calculated values were less than the T tabular value which was equal to 1,96 with a liberty degree of 126. Accordingly , they were excluded out of the scale while the 41 remaining items were distinct at the level of 0.05. Furthermore , the researcher conducted a group of statistical procedures to determine the truth of the interior correlations. It was reported that all correlations treatments were distinct except item No. 30 didn’t score the required correlation mark which is 0,11 or higher. Ultimately ,the tool in its final manifestation was composed of 40 items divided into six fields. Personality styles The researcher conducted the scale of personality styles in accordance with Holland Codes of personality styles after being translated from English to Arabic and its compliance with Iraqi environment. Holland's codes is composed of 80 items which he distributes into the six sub items where the personality styles are evaluated as follows Realistic (13) items , investigative (12) items , social (16) items , conventional (13) , enterprising (12 ) items and artistic (14 ). In order to express the apparent truth of the tool , it was presented in its preliminary manifestation before the experts and specialists in the psychological Counseling Dep. in order to evaluate the validity of its items. In the light of arbitrators ' judgments , 23 were omitted divided into six styles. Thus , the items of the personality styles tool is composed of 57 items divided into 6 fields. In order to recognize the distinctive truth of the tool , it was applied to a random sample of 290 male and female students selected randomly and simply. The researcher arranged the individuals ' marks in a descending order starting from the total highest in the personality styles up to the lowest one. then , the two radical groups were specified of 27 % out of the sample respondents which they were 78 respondents in each group. The T. test was applied to two independent groups for the purpose of the denotation of the difference between the two groups v , between the marks of each items of the scale. It was reported that there 2 items were not distinct at the level of 0,05 because the T calculated values were less than from the T tabular value (1,96 ) with liberty degree of 154 which was resulted in excluding them out of the scale. while the remaining 55 items were distinct at a denotation level 0,05. Thus , the tool was composed of 55.Vocational environments After reviewing the literature of the vocational orientation , Holland ' s theory and its constituents and the related previous studies , the researcher listed 166 careers divided into 6 vocational environments meeting opposite the aforementioned personality styles. Consequently , Holland ' s code of vocational environments is composed of realistic environment 38 careers , investigative environment (30 ) careers , social environment (23 ) , conventional environment (15 ) careers and the artistic environment (34 ) careers. To investigate the apparent truth of the tool , the researcher presented the scale of the vocational environments before 20 experts , specialized in the field of psychological counseling in order to evaluate the items whether or not they are fit to measure what they are after. Consequently , experts ' remarks led to some modifications in the scale items. They also approved the integration of both tools together as well as determining the environment which is opposite and peculiar for each style of personality. furthermore , they agreed to select 20 - 15 careers out of those which are widely common and acceptable in Iraq that 52 items were omitted and with applying such procedure , the tool was composed of 114 careers divided into 6 sub scales. The researcher inspected the distinctive force of tools by the use of the two radical groups at the ultimate mark through the application of the scale items over the same statistical sample of the scale of personality styles which are 290 male and female students selected randomly. The researcher arranged the individual's marks in a descending order began with the total highest mark to the lowest mark in the vocational environments. Then , the tow radical groups were specified with the full mark scoring 27 % out of the sample 's respondents. They were 78 in each group. T. test was applied for two independent groups for the purpose of identifying the denotation of the difference between the two radical groups in terms of each single item of the scale. It is reported that 14 items were not distinct at the level of 0,05 because the T calculated values were less than the T tabular values (1,96 ) with liberity degree of 154 which resulted in to be excluded out of the scale while the 100 remaining items were distinct at the level of 0,05. Thus , the tool of the vocational environments was composed of 100 items divided into six environments. tools stability In order to figure out the stability of the vocational selection scale of secondary school students , the researcher used the Retest Method and after applying the scale once again on the same sample which was 50 male and female students , Pearson ' s correlation coefficients were stated between the two applications which was 0,79. In terms of personality styles scale , the researcher figured out a stability for each style of the 6 personality styles. After reapplying the scale once again on the same sample , Pearson ' s correlation coefficients were stated between the two applications for each of the 6 sub scales to know the nature of the relation of the marks of both application , the first and the second. it appeared that correlation coefficients ranged from 0,84 - 0,75. In terms of scale of vocational environments , it was reported that the correlation coefficients ranged between from 0,98 - 0,71.The application of tools The researcher applied his tools on a sample of 480 male and female students who were selected randomly with percentage no less than 3 % of the original community. The time assigned for answering the questions was (30 - 40) minutes with average of 35 minutes. The final application required the period from 14/3/2015 up to 30/3/2015.In the fourth stage , the researcher introduced a demonstration for the results whom he culminated by the present research alongside with discussing such results in accordance with consequence of its objectives. Conclusions were as follows : 1. The presence of a statistical denotation in the vocational selection of secondary school students in general. 2. The presence of a statistical denotation in the vocational selection of secondary school students in accordance with specialization ( scientific - literary ). 3. The presence of a statistical denotation in the vocational selection of secondary school students in accordance with gender variable (male - female).4. The presence of a statistical denotation in the personality styles of secondary school students in general. 5. The presence of a statistical denotation in the personality styles of secondary school students in accordance with gender variable ( male and female ) in the realistic and investigative style while no such denotation is absent in the personality styles of secondary school students in accordance with gender variable ( male and female ) in the social , conventional , artistic and enterprising style.6. The presence of a statistical denotation in the vocational environments of secondary school students in general. 7. The presence of a statistical denotation in the vocational environments of secondary school students in accordance with gender variable ( male opposite female ) in the realistic and vocational investigative environments along side with the absence of such denotation in the vocational environments in accordance with ( male opposite female ) in the social , vocational conventional , vocational enterprising and vocational artistic environments. 8. there is no correlative relation between the vocational selection on one hand and personality styles and prevailing vocational environments of secondary school students on the other. 9. The presence of a correlative relation between personality styles on one hand and the prevailing vocational environments of secondary school students on the other.10. The presence of a correlative relation between styles of sub personality of the tool with the opposite vocational environments of secondary school students as follows : - The presence of a correlative relation between the realistic personality style and the vocational realistic environment. - The presence of a correlative relation between the investigative personality style and the vocational investigative environment. - The presence of a correlative relation between the conventional personality style and the vocational conventional environment. - The presence of a correlative relation between the enterprising personality style and the vocational enterprising environment. - The presence of a correlative relation between the artistic personality style and the vocational artistic environment. 11. The absence of a correlative relation and statistical denotation between the vocational selection as variable on one hand and the personality styles as well as vocational environment as second variable to the members of study correspondents in general.Recommendations : In the light of research results , the researcher suggested some recommendations , we hereby mention some of them : 1. Appling the code of the vocational selection by cancellers to develop the counseling process. Proposals : 2.conducting a study concerning the vocational selection of the secondary school students and its relation with other variables such the self concept.

The research tools are : First : a tool of measuring Perceived Academic Self - Efficiency Second : a tool of measuring some personality traits Third : a tool of measuring transformational leadership The college sample is selected from Baghdad university colleges, the' second and fourth classes, male and female, scientific and humane specialties, using the stratified random method. After that, student 1 sample is selected , using the stratified random method, and the I number of male amounts to 300 students, the number of female i amounts to 300 students, 300 scientific specialty, and 300 humane specialty.The researcher prepared three measurements : 1 - Measurement of Perceived Academic Self - Efficiency. It consists of 68 paragraphs, and limited by 8 domains : cognitive domain, social domain, behavioral domain, emotional domain, self - confidence domain, domain of trusting others, ethical domain, domain ofinsistence and perseverance. 2 - Measurement of some personality traits. It consists of 74 paragraphs, and limited by 4 factors : motivation for achievement, mental adequacy, subjectivity, control.3 - Measurement of transformational leadership. It consists of 20 paragraphs, and limited by four dimensions : ideal influence, inspirational motivation, mental stimulation, individual consideration.The reliability of Perceived Academic Self - Efficiency measurement is checked by apparent reliability and indications of constructional reliability. The validity of the measurement is checked by alpha coefficient of internal consistency which is (0,89). is checked by apparent reliability, indications of constructional reliability. There is a statistically significant difference at 0.05 level betj<.ve the marks of males and females, for the favor of females. There is no statistically significant difference at 0.05 level among the students' marks according to the variable (specialty, class).5. There is no statistically significant reaction between (type, pecialty, class) in its effect on transformational leadership. ourth : regarding the fourth objective I to uncover the correlationalelation between the dependent variable (Perceived Academic Selffficiency) and the two independent variables (personality traits and ransformational leadership).he results show the following : 1. The relation between (Perceived Academic Self - Efficiency) and some personality traits and transformational leadership) is a relation fa positive function.. Some personality traits and transformational leadership have a articipation of statistical significance in prediction of Perceived cademic Self - Efficiency. The variable of some personality traits has a higher contribution, followed by the transformational leadership variable in the prediction of Perceived Academic Self - Efficiency.Depending on the research's results and conclusions, the researcher subrnitted so1ne recommendations and suggestions. Abstract: The concept of Social Belonging is one of the most important central concepts of belonging in general. It determined the nature of the individual relationships with groups in all periods of time and everywhere. The importance lies in the social level because it is the excel theme of the groups without which the group loses its firmness specially the latter is group's individuals closeness, which depends on the scope of achievement of the groups to the needs of their individual since that the group did that then it can effect his thoughts and behavior. Every group has standards and values that its individuals must acquire by being one of the group and he can acquire also when belong to certain group cultural inheritance that enable him to interactive positively with his neighbors.Study Objectives : The study is aiming at the following : 1 - Verify the level of the social belonging among the students of the university.2 - Verifying methods of Social Belonging at university students as per variables (sex - specialization - stage) 3 - Designing instructional program for development of Social Belonging among students of the university.Limits of the Study : The study is restricted with a sample of community from College of education I Basra University for Academic Year 2008 - 2009.Procedures of the Study : Verifying the recent objectives of the study to use the measure (Al - Tamimy 1996) for the Social Belonging after verifying the procedures recognition validity and internal coordination and firmness for the measure when measurement is at its final format consisted of 65 paragraphs distributed among (5) aspects.The measurement is applied on the sample that consisted off 450 students (male & female) to verify the level of the feeling with Social Belonging among the students of Collage Education when the medium among the sample is (693,664) and standard deviation (9,334). When the sign was tested for the differential versus assumption medium, the statistics sign for the medium and this means that sample persons had low level somehow of the Social Belonging than that of maintaining the personal relationships with thee others, with emotional assistance and social evaluation and interesting and social comparison.As sequence to the results in the second objective, instructional program was designed according to sample steps (Dousary) for the instructional programs, after determining the needs of the individuals of the sample. The instructional sessions demonstrated according to theoretical strategies (Social Exchange) b are (simulationreincarnation - communication - realizing the role and acting for it - inspiration - social facility - social realization).Thus, throughout the results of the study, researcher recommended : 1 - Get benefit from instructional programs which are designed in this study at instructional centers and units in the university.2 - Training instructors of the stages in the university within developmental courses on using the instructional program to represent the educational context for them with students.3 - Conducting scientific synopses to shed the light on aspects of Social Belonging level reduction among students in the university and verifying reasons of it and developmental methods in feeling with the Social Belonging.4 - Bringing up students' festivals in the field of literature, sport to encourage the citizenship and the community.5 - Making students travels to the universities to enhance the unity among students.6 - Making students publications , advertisement and expressing the national products of students

It also gives the man his identity be\!ause it identifies the way he can treat his problems. the right style of life may approach. man to perfection and live congruously with society. where as the wrong style which results from selfishness and domination may cause the man to behave against the society.The behavior of man may be changed during his life as a result ·of direct requirement of the situation and the long range goals underlying the style life. the style of life remains relatively constant unless he is satisfied with the changes by psychological therapy which involves techniques aim to recognize and direct his goals and modify his beliefs.* The Problem : The following question identifies the problem of the research : - It is possible to modify the socially useless style of life by using counseling programme depending on a variety of techniques in psychological treatment which is draw from idlerian therapy.* Objectives Of The Study : The main aim of the research is to improve the socially useless styles of life of the university students.There are also secondary aims : I.Constructing measurement to the style of life of the university students.2.Establishing counseling programme to improve the socially useless styles life.3.Recognizing the impact of counseling programme on the improvement of socially useless styles of life. The research is confined to the university students of basrah.of the year (1999 - 2000). The research includes male and female academic students distributed on all the educational stages and all the scientific and humanistic specialization in order to construct a tool and declare the styles of life among university students. It also includes a sample of academic female students from the first stage of the year (2000) to accomplish the test of the research. * The Theoretical Framework : The theoretical framework allows this stuoy to state all the theories that explain the styles of life with regard to their negative and positive structure and the ways of treating or improving the inconvenient style. Emphasis is given to Idler's theory : ! : "'ti Idler's therapy because it is a general and variant therapy it takes a shGr\ - time, it is also regarded as a principal therapy on which many knowledge and social strategy depend in order to improve the inconvenient style.* Procedures : A : Tools Of The Study : In order to construct a tool to measure the style of life for the university students ,(73) behavioral situations have been designed in it prior way of choosing from a variety of three choices. The responsive has to choose the alternative that he finds suitable. Themeasurement consists of four secondary measure : the socially useful style contains (self control , activity and effectiveness , social cooperative), the selfish· style ,avoidance style ,and obsession style ,About ( 400) statements have been distributed on an arbitrarynatural sample from the university students (mal and female) which is analyzed statically in order to verify the validity of the tool by using (content validity , structure validity). Also the constant is found by the retest way and anova with regard to the first way , theconstant coefficient is : ( 0/o67, %, 73, 0/o80, %89, 0/o90, 0/o86 ) for the life way styles(self control ,activity and effectiveness, socially cooperative ,selfish, , and avoidance ) respectively then some situations were eliminated because they could be distinguished. so the ultimate measurement contains (60) situation which is distributed on a sample of (2023) students (male and female) to explore the current style of life among the university students.* Bl The Counseling Programme : The counseling programme is constructed on the current model which is based on planning pragmatic ,budget. the programme is designed on the base of Idlerian therapy which contains individual programme through which (180) individual meetings have been hold , about(6) meetings to each and it began on November ,20,1999 - January ,27,2000. the strategy of (playing the role ,the empty chair ,explaining and studying and treating the dream) has been used in the meetings.Each meeting took about 30 - 60 Minutes.The counseling programme also includes a collective programme through which (22) collective meetings have been hold •The strategies used there are (correcting principle, playing the role, lecture ,encouragement ,imagination ,and self control). The meetings began on February 19 - jun,11,2000. Each meetings have taken about half an hour to an hour.* Experimental Design : The before - after test design has been used and it has a control group. The sample of the research has been classified in to six experimental groups and different conditions have been subjected to each group for treatment.The first three groups received the same counseling (individual and collective) but the kinds of activity and implication of activity sours were different depending on the style of life which it follows.As for the other three groups (control) they did not receive any direction. Each of the six groups they consisted of ten female students which were equating in all variables. * The Results : The current study has concluded the following : 1. The result of the study have shown the spread of the life way style (socially useless) among the university students the common is the avoiding style of life,then the selfish style ,finally the obsession style.2. The counseling programme which has been used in this study is proved.·to be effective including the activities and different strategies which is used in improving the socially useless style oflife as the following : A. The getting Style : There are differences distinguished statistically among the marks of the experimental group in the before - after ,style on the basis of getting style of life measurement •• In the after test ,differences distinguished statistically have beenfound among the marks of the experimental and control groups on the measurement.B. The domination style of life : • differences distinguished statistically have been found among the marks of the experimental group in both before - after tests on the measurement of obsession style of life • • There are differences distinguished statistically among the marksof the control group in the after test on the measurement obsession style of life. C. Avoiding style of life : • Differences distinguished statistically have been found among the marks of the experimental group in both after;before tests on the measurement of avoiding style of life.• There are differences statistically distinguished among the marks of the experimental and control groups in the after test on the measurement of avoiding style of life •* In the light of the result of the study it recommends the following : 1. In interest should be given to create social feeling and spread the moral consciousness by using the academic lectures.2. Effective and serious interest should be put on the direction in university andsupply the counseling center with counseling programmes which aim style improve the style of life or the socially useless style

Identifying a statistical difference between anxiety and any of its fourdimensions in relations to(sex, class grade, study major)(scientific of literary).Designing a remedial program for a selected sample of Secondary school students to reduce the le\·el of existential anxiety. - Applying the program and identifying its results.To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher has constructed two Existential anxiety which consists of 80 items distributed among for dimensions. They are : ( death anxiety , freedom , existential isolation , meaninglessness. The validity and reliability of the scale were approved and it was applied to 400 female and male Secondary school students.2 - The counseling Program : The researcher has constructed a remedial program in accordance with the (five points). It includes : a) Analysis b) Planning c) applicationd) program evolution. e) decision making.different techniques of Psychotherapy have been adopted. The program takes (88) days, (24) group sessions and (38) individual sessions, two session a week. Each session is (90) minute.The researcher has used different statistical tools like qi square , Anova, t - test, mean , sd standard error and Person formula. The results show a high desgree of existential anxiety in Secondary school students. It is higher in female students and develop gradually in relation to the stage of study from the fourth grade to the sixth grade. The results show no significant difference in relation to the study major whether sci en ti fie or I iterary.The results show also that the program has a positive effect in reducing the degree of existential anxiety. Accordingly some recommendations and suggestions are forwarded.

The study adds a qualitative and qualitative addition to the previous studies I this field.5 - Show the future importance of such studies for researchers I the field of counseling and children with cancer.6 - Draw the attention of health establishments to use psychological counseling programmes with the patients and their families tomaintain their psychological health. The tools of the research includes the construction of a Stresses scale hich is valid and reliable. A pre test and a post test are used to identify he sample of the study in both groups. The study includes the onstruction of a family counseling programme with some group essions. It includes some selective techniques like giving instructions, iscussion, positive reinforcement, phaticcomm dramatization, union, roblem solving practice, rephrasing and self esteem practice. The rogramme lasts for one month and 24 days with 15 group sessions; two essions per week. Each session takes 45 minutes except for session one hich takes 60 minutes. The procedures of the study are determined to ee its effectiveness in achieving its aims. The postponed test is applied fter 21 days after the end of the programme to ensure the continuation of he effect of the programme. Statistics used includes Man Whitney test, ilcox test, Chi square, Pearson formula, T - test for two independent amples, Alpha - Kronbach formula and median.Statistical interpretation shoes positive changers concerning parents ith pressures during the period between the pre - test and the post - test ith significant difference in favour of those who participate in the rogramme. The experimental group are better than the control group ho have not participated in the programme. The postponed test shows he continuation of the effect of the programme. The researcher arrives at ome conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.Mandatory counseling, which is used in this research, represents one f the most effective tools in dealing with family pressures. The esearcher makes use of different techniques in counseling. It is agreed pon that there is no comprehensive theory that can interpret and analyze he individual's behaviour and motives and can deal with all his living d cultural needs.Accordingly, the research aims at investigating the Stresses found in he sample of the study according to a scale which is constructed for this urpose. Moreover, a counseling and a psychological programme 1s onstructed to see its effect concerning its purpose.The researcher adopts the experimental approach and the experimental esign for the experimental group and the control group with pre and post ests. A sample with cancer infected children is chosen. They suffer from tresses and they are all registered in the oncology department in Basrah rom 2003 to 2007. All of them are regular patients from the southern rovinces in 2008 at the department and are willing to participate in the ounseling programme. They are randomly classified into two groups : xperimental and control with l 0 individuals of parents in each.

Psychological field.c. Field of treatment manner used with the child.d. Sociology Field.e. Evaluation Field.f. Health Field2. Identify the types of counseling requirement types which arc in need to the presence of the educational counseling at the primary school as per the level of requirements for it in general and for each field of the I questionnaire separately. Identify the need of school primary for the educational counselor fro the teachers' points of view. The Scope of ResearchThis present research is determined by : 1. Primary Schools in Baghdad Governorates within Al - Rusafa and Al - Karkh Sectors.2. Girls schools only for the academic year 2003 - 2004. Methods : This questionnaire is applied on 500 female teachers from the primary schools in Baghdad governorate upon a pattern of 44. the final questionnaire is applied on a pattern of 500 female teachers from Baghdad and its suburbs after analyzing the answers of the teacher as per its repetition answers. It is got 78 phrase distributed on six fields (scholastic, profession, psychology, treatment manner used with the child, the social, environmental and health fields.)Statistical Means : It is arranged the fields of questionnaire using the probability means equation to explain the severity of this problem as it is used the percentage weights of the repetitions of the three alternatives as it is arranged the items on the field decently as per the means of the severity and the weight to verify the stability of the tools as well as arranging the items at the questionnaire in general as per the means of severity and percentage weights to confirm the stability of the tool notably it is used Person Coefficient.Results It is shown from analyzing the answers of the female teachers that the difficulties for which they expressed in the open and closed questionnaire are very much in its number as it is attached in the severity and the views of the female teachers are in vicinity of the vieV\'S of the teachers, headmasters , and Associate Headmasters in determining the most difficulties and repetitions which are divided into the fileds : (scholastic, profession, psychology, treatment manner used with the child, the social, environmental andhealth fields.) which is discussed in the last part of the thesis. Number of problems and the increase of its severity confirm clearly the real need for the counseling at the primary schools which may be increditable at the primary, intermediate and secondary schools. This case confirms that percentage showed that the consent of this need is 87°/o. Also, the severity is high in the problem of anxiety feeling in their scholastic life related with facing the problem of professionally , psychology and scholastic modification as well as the increased severity in respect of the problem of Knowledge and discovering like as it needs the more of reviews and studying objectives concerning considering the individual differences in comprehending the scholastic subjects and their academic qualifications. Extending the difficulties and problems assists inproviding a good aspect for the educational counselor to perform his duties at the primary school providing his counseling service such as pursuing the concerns of thethose who are delayed in their study , the top and superiors , and specialties who have many absence days , the orphans in addition to provide the attention to the social, artistic activities and cooperation between the counselor, the teaching staff and the administration.There arc some services in the field of psychological counseling summarized by caring and individual pursuing for the emergency cases in which the student needs the assistance of the counselor regarding to interviewing the sons of criminals, orphans and those who missed their parents or one of them and identify the ways of their modification and scholastic situations.

Knowing such needs requires availability of objective scales for measuring these needs.The study aims at constructing a scale for measuring the essential needs of the pupils at the intern1ediate stage. To my know ledge such a scale is not available upto now to measure essential needs. Hopefully this study includes the pupils at intermediate stage ( males and females ). It covers those who live Basrah city - centre for the a cademic year 2003 - 2004.The educational scale of the study has been designed upon Like1i's method since a number of alternatives can be supplied and the pupils can choose the option that seem fit or right.When the process C<?ucerned has been evaluated for the first (92) items have been formed to represent essential needs for the pupils who may respon according to 1 ( dueto ) Likert' s n1ethod "Vhich depends on three alternatives ( choices ). These itemshave been shown to· son1e professionals in psychology and educational counseling. Ten items have been eliminated due to the advice of such professionals. The scale finally has been formed including ( 82 ) items. Each respondent ( sbubject) was required to choose the alternative that he believs to be right. (420) papers (copies) of the question aire have been distributed to the subjects. Only ( 20 ) papers have been excluded for being in complete. So the number of the papers was ( 400) : All these papers have been statistically 2.naly sed. After aualysing all items and finding their significance , validity of the scale used has been proved through face validity and s tatistical one while LI reliability of the scale has been calculated by retesting another ri experimental group of pupils after certain peviod ofti1ne (about W 15 days ) between the two tests.The results of the study have shown that the - educational scale used vvas quite valid and reliable in measuring the essential needs of the pupils at intermediate stage. Thus, such a scale can be applied by the researchers and professionals to compare andmeasure essential needs of the pupils at Intermediate schools.

The researcher has found that it is important to deal with the up mentioned issue for its active role on education process in order to get well - learners who will be able to practice the Critical Thinking with Cognitive - Reflective Style, getting away from impulsivity and hurry. The aims of this research are to know of the following : - 1. The level of Critical Thinking of students in the preparatory stage. 2. The level of Cognitive Style (Reflective - Impulsive) of the students. 3. The significance of differences in Critical Thinking Test according to the two variables (specialization and gender). 4. The significance of the differences in Cognitive Style (Reflective - Impulsive) Test according to the two variables (specialization and gender). 5. The relationship between the Critical Thinking and Cognitive Style (Reflective - Impulsive) Tests of the students in the preparatory stage. 6. The relationship between the Critical Thinking and Cognitive Style (Reflective - Impulsive) Tests according to two variables (specialization and gender). In order to achieve these aims, this research has been applied on a randomly collected sample of (1000) male and female students, from the fifth grade from the both sides (the left and right) of Mosul city in (2005 - 2006). In addition to using Critical Thinking Test, prepared by (Al - Abayachee, 2002), Cognitive Style (Reflective - Impulsive) Test, prepared by (Al - Ayaash, 2003), has been used. The researcher has achieved the objectivity of the test through out finding the two factors (Validity and Reliability). It has been depended on face - validity method through out offering it on a committee of experts of educational and psychological sciences. Whereas reliability has been achieved by the re - testing method. The following statistic means have been used to make sure of the findings, such as : (T - test, Z - test, percentage and person correlation coefficient). Then, the findings have become as following : - 1. Students of the preparatory stage have a high middle - level of Critical Thinking. 2. Students of the preparatory stage have a good - level of Cognitive Style (Reflective - Impulsive). 3. There are no differences between specialization and gender concerning Critical Thinking Test. 4. There is no difference between specialization and gender concerning Cognitive - Style (Reflective - Impulsive).5. There is a positive correlation relationship between Critical Thinking Test and Cognitive Style (Reflective - Impulsive) Test. 6. There is no correlation relationship between Critical Thinking and Cognitive Style (Reflective - Impulsive) Tests according to specialization and gender factors. Under the light of these findings the researcher has reached to several recommendations and suggestions, the most important of which are the following : - 1. The equivalence is occurred in the variables of the research as the psychological analysis manner (Counseling program) represents the independent variable and the neurosis symptoms represent the following variables.The Counseling Progn1111 It is prepared the counseling program to be in corr,pliance with the nature of the present research and its hypothesis and objectives. It is designed as per important steps identify possibilities, and means and objectives. The program is designed upon the psychological analysis, also it is used a group of techniques such (Muscle relaxation, imagination, playing roles, analyzing the dreams). The program consists of ten massive sessions in addition to numerous sessions.Results of tile Research The results indicate that the level of neurosis symptoms of the members of the pattern is more than the level of neurosis symptoms of the community from which it is drawn.The results of analyzing the variation showed that there is no important difference as per the variable of academic results (fail, Success).The results indicated that there are important differences as per the variable of birth sequence as the most neurosis symptoms are appeared at the metnbers of pattern of unique and first rank without any important difference between them with an itnportant d;lTercnt statistically with the members of the pattern of mediun1 and last rank. The results of analyzing the variation showed that there are statistically important difference as per the economical level as the most symptoms of the neurosis are appeared at the members of the pattern of weak and medium income without any difference between them while there are important differences between the good economically level and the two levels (medium and lowest) on the other hand.Also, the results of the variation analysis showed that there are important differences as per the social situation as the most neurosis symptoms appear at the persons lives with mothi; : r or father without any important difference between them ·with astatistical important difference for those liver with two paterners.There is no important statistical important difference in the posterior and prior test for the control group which ni~ver got counseling program.There are important difference in the prior and posterior on the scale of neurosis symptoms for the experimental group. There are statistical important differences in the poster~or test on the scale of neurosis symptoms between the experimental and control groups for the interest of experimental group.

This study is considered the base for any care program.4 - .And the program set in this Stu(ly can he applied by the educational Counselors.The Aim of the Study The Aim of the Study is to construct a Counseling program for the young pupils in the sixth grade The Limits of the Study The study is limited to : 1 - the young pupils in the sixth grade for the year (200g. 200 9 - '.2 - Basrah province center.The Stages of the Study The Sample of the study consist of (150) pupils in Basrah province Center The Analysis : 1 - The Analysis presented an open question to a san1ple of (20) pupils about their 1u·oblc1ns2 - By analyzing the pupils answers the researcher Obtained a group of items representing their problcn1s and by adding another items from the previous stages , the total items became (45 iten1s ) distributed on (6Fields) : the educational ,psychological , family ,economic and health fields.3 - In order to check the tool it was presented to a group of judges to approve its validity , and the items which had (80%) approval and 11101·e fron1. the ex11erts have been Kept and the other ite111s were neidected , and thefinal approved items were (40 ite111s) which is the final Analysis ,and a three choice balance (yes, No, I don't know) was added.4 - the analysis was repeated for - a san1ple of (20pupils)after (15 days) fro1n the first application to make sure the tool is stable and the stability factor was(%0. 79).5 - the final application after the previous procedures was applied On the final Study sa1nple of ( 90 pupils) the Explaining tools the researcher used ·the percentage ratio to calculate the experts approvals to the validity of the analysis items and the appropriate average to obtain the degree and arrangement and ( present' s Connection factor) to calculate the stability factor.The results of the study : The results include : 1 - After distributing the answers from the sample the average was calculated and the items which had an average medium of (1.. 11 ) up, were isobtted and the counseling program was constructed in order to ease the problems, and take actions towards the severeproblem - s,, and suggest solutions to achieve those goals. And the problems included the order of educational, psychological, family, economic, and health fields. Recommendations1 - Appointing An Educational Counselor for each primary school especially the youngsters schools.2 - Acquiring experienced teachers in the education or who have passed elderly or special courses.3 - Spreading information about opening 1nore schools according to their special environments.4 - Providing the Technical workshops and the necessary equipment for the occupational training. 5 - Providing transportation means for the pupils who arc far away from school.

The same uestionaire was handed out to three senior psyciatrics in Basrah.e items were modified then according to the in complete A triodic scale was determined according to always, sometimes and rarely : 3, 2, 1 respectively. Then the reliability tes~ was used.Results The study has arrived at the fact that counsellors possess a cceptarole psychological health. Recommendations The study has arrived at son1e recommendations : I - Conduct the same study in other provinces.2 - Conducting other studies that take into consideration the sex factor and experience.Suggestions I - Holding conferences to counsellors.2 - Holding cultural and qualification workshaps.3 - Making use of the following scale in appointing counsellors.4 - Asserting the importance of the psychological health of the educational counsellors.

The important difference in the consciousness activity (response) level between two genders (males & female) for the benefit of female.3. There is no important statistical difference in the level of consciousness activity (response) ,between two genders (males & females) in respect of (proficiency, arranging, strangling for performance) as female were more weakness and sensitive toperform the duty than males as it is shown that.4. There is no )mportant statistical correlation between fhc consciQusncss activity (response) level and the acadep1ic qualification of the parents.5. There is important statistical difference between the level of consciousness activity (response) and the social - psychological compliance variable.In delight of the result of this research, it is suggested and recommended with some recommendation and suggestions including stimulate the Educational Organizations and Establishments to direct and learn the family with the importance of activate the consciousness at the child. The research suggested deepening the research by studying each factor of personality factors in addition to perform similar studies on other patterns dealing with different variables.

Abstract: The problem of the present study is to investigate the extent of children's mental health as ares ult of facing wars and embargo.It is important to know the levels of children's mental health and the reasons behind behavior disturbance in relations to painful experiences at homes and schools. The results of the I present study will helpful to parents and teachers.The purpose of the study is to know the level of school children's mental at the city centre ofBasrah. To get the results of the study, the researcher constructed two instruments the children mental Health and the painful Experience at Home and School. IThose instruments were introdced to a sample of (600) sixth gade studenf s (310) boys and (290) girls.The statistical results showed that the sample had amedum level of Mental health inspite of the disastrous war and em barge Girls showed a higher level of mental health from boys and had! less bainful experiences tha them. Thes results are due to the Iprotective way girls are raised in our society. Debending on the results of the study it has been recommended that.Parents should spend much time with their children to know the type of problems they are facing. They should change the·ways of punishment they force on their children.Anther point, teachers should pe more helpful to their student and less punitire in order to held them maintain ahigher, level of mental health.

And the importance of high school students and their academic achievement.The purpose of this study can be described as attempt to recognize the level of learning and thinking strategies for the study sample as well as their mentally processing for academic information, and the relationship between these variable for the general sample and sub sample according to the sex (males, females) and academic specific (humanities, scienti fie) sixth secondary school This study limited with a sample of a secondary school population, males and females form basrah's provinces high school during theacademic year 2002 - 2003 and their numbered was ( 40 l) bodies. The idioms of this study (strategy, learning strategies, mentally information processing, and secondary school) had been defined by the researcher and more than one identify for each idiom.In order to get the result of this study the procedures was adjusted two tools, to measures the two variables study, and measure the relationship between them, these tools had been have a good validity and reliability dependable on it for application on study sample. The results found that the responding have average level of two main study variables and astistitcial significant relationship between the study variables as well as sub study variables in sex and academic specific.The suggestion and the commendation of this study was to trained our students how to prepare their academic performance according to advanced skills and study strategies and reinforcement who used these skills, as well as learned them how to process the information inside the mentally system with a deapth level. The researcher suggested to apply more studies takes designing educational programs learned students through it who to deal and process academic information, experiences with a deapth level as well as who to study with advanced cases.

Recognize the level of self - assertion of high school students (assertive, aggressive, and with drawn by).2. Finding the differences in the level of self - assertion according to the students sex class, and residence variables. 3. Designing a counseling program for a selected group of the sample in order to apply the program that could help them attain self - assertion.The scope The present study is limited to a sample of a secondary school population. Males and females from Basrah Provinces high school.During the academic year of 2002. The Theoretical Frame Work The concept of self - assertion was introduces by Salter in () after the finding Of Bavlove's research an behavior modification. He asserted that the child learns different kinds of behavior spontaneously by conditioning in his environment. If the child's behavior is not approved by his mother commands, he will atop expressing his feeling and emotions and withdraw into himself.Salter distinguished between two types of Personalities : The humanistic and the inhibited one. Salter used hypnosis and some other strategies to help withdrawn people become more assertive. Counseling programs are helpful processes to help group and individual to improve their self - assertion, and therefore, it was used in this study. Procedures In order to get the results of this study, the following procedures was done.1. Designing an instrument to diagnose the samples level of selfassertion. 2. Maintaining the instruments validity and reliability.3. Applying the instrument and using the results for comparison according to sex, area of especiality and living location variables.4. Designing a program to elevate the students level of self - assertion of the experiment, the effect of the program was determined by comparing the pretest postest results for each group. The (experimental) and the (control). Then, comparing the experimental postest results with the control group. The Results1. It has been found that the responding have an average level of selfassertion.2. Comparison between sexes showed that girls have lower selfassertion that boys, and there were more differences related to area of especiality ,or the location of residents in self - assertion.3. Students who have low self - assertion or high aggression had participated in a three months program.4. The differences between the pretest postest showed effects of the program on the sample in the experimental group who possessed higher level of self - assertion at the end of the experiment.Suggestion and Recommendations It has been suggested that further studies on self - assertion must be done on different samples, age groups, and economic status.The researcher recommends that the program of self - assertion must be used in high school and different institutes.

Accordingly, the goal of the present research is to identify the relation between the vocational self and vocational stability.The research aims at the following : 1 - Introducing study respondents ' vocational self2 - Introducing the vocational self according gender (male, female)3 - Introducing study respondents ' vocational stability4 - Introducing the relation between the vocational self according and vocational stability at study respondents.Current research is determined by educational counselors for the year 2014 - 2015 in Basra.The researcher theoretically definition pro caudally variables search in first chapterThe second chapter has provided the theoretical framework for the theories of which deals vacation self and vocational.Stability and former studies relating to the topic …The building research tools , the researcher has built a scale of vocational self from literature and component of super roger theory.The paragraphs scale it amounted (55) initially paragraph.The search use face validity for the paragraphs scale and aims of jury and experts.The percentage of expectance is ( 80 % ) of each paragraph then I cancelled (12) paragraph because the percentage of these paragraph are not good.I use discriminate validity , reliability and I test and canceled (3) paragraph.I do the test with (200) counselor reliability of vocation self The searcher.I do it by test and re test and value is ( 0,78 ).The vocational scale the taken from ( EDANY study 2011 ) and they do new face.Validity and new reliability.After recognize face validity and discriminate of ( 2 tools ) I do the two tools with (200 ) counselor in Basra schools To achieve these goals, the researcher applied that vocational self standard which has been established by depending on the literatures of vocationalguidance and Rogers - Super theory as well as a vocational self standard which has been adopted via the study of (Al Edani , 2011 ) which was applied in a scientific study to obtain DOCTORATE from Al Mustanseriah University on a study respondents composed of 200 educators. they were selected randomly and plainly from 4 directorates of Basrah - general education departments.After treating such data statistically by using the second option for one study respondents and for tow another study respondents and Bairson ' s connection factor as well as Spareman - Brown s ' equation , the research has concluded the following results : 1 - Presence of a statistical indication in behalf of study respondents on the basis of the vocational self standard2 - The presence of differences having statistical indication according to gender ( male , female )3 - The presence of a statistical indication in behalf of study respondents on the basis of vocational satiability standard.4 - The presence of differences having a statistical indication according to gender ( male , female ) on the basis of vocational satiability standard.5 - The presence of a positive and denotative connective relationship between vocational self and vocational satiability for the study respondents members in general.In the light of the results of this research , the researcher has summed up many recommendations and suggestions related to those results. They are as follows : Recommendations : - - Adopting the results of the study to grant the promotive incentives and every possible measures which elevate the educator ' s work and status. - Increasing the vocational growth opportunities for educators and establishing an incentive system peculiar to them in such a way that it boosts their vocational stability. - involving educators in on - going developmental programs covering the way to percept the importance of career and didactic work. - addressing the ministry in terms of supporting the educator ' work at all aspects which subsidize the work of educator which is reflected on his vocational stability.Suggestions : - - Conducting a study covering vocational self and its relation with character modes - Conducting a study covering vocational self and its relation with the educator ' performance. - Conducting a study includes a didactic program in developing the educators ' vocational self

Abstract: The present research is investigating the identity status of the first , year students at the university level.There are four types of identity status (Achiever, Moratorium, ' 4 I Foreclosed, and Diffused). It also attempts to identify the differences in students identity according to sex variable and area of especialty.Another goal is to find the relationship between the achiever (growing Identity) and a number of social variables relating to family environment.In order to achieve these goals, the researcher constructed two ' scales : the first is "Identity status of college students" depending on I Marcia's theory (Ego Identity status) (1964). The second instrument is I "The Family Interaction" which depends on Ausuble's Satilization theoey (1954).The instrument's validity and reliability was established, then they were applied to a sample of (475) Freshmen students. The statistic used in analyzing the results were chi - sequare, t - test, I I person's correlation coefficient, analysis of variance, the standard error,as well as Cronbac's formula.The result of the study showed that freshmen students are characterized with foreclosed Identity who were highly depended on family members older than them. The results also showed that there are no significant differences at the (0.05) level between the sexes in identity formation but there were no significant differences in Identity formation according to area of especialty except in the Moratorium type. Another finding there were significant positive relationship between strong family relationships and Identity Achieving.The correlation between other family factors such as the number of family members, educational background of parents, order of birth, type · of residence and mother's accupation and the Achiever Identity were not 11 significant at the (0.05) level.

Data were collected and statistically processed by employing the pear son moment - product correlation coefficient analysis of variance for two independent variables and the t - test for the two • Independent samples so that the following conclusions were drawn : (1) There is a/statistically significant relationship between the ability for decision making and the cognitive style (rigidity - flexlblllty).(2) The flexible are superior of rigid in their ability for decision making. (3) The males are not different form the females in their ability decision making.The following recommendations were reached : 1 - State establishments should be encouraged to administer new courses for their head masters&#39; to provide them with the adequate skills In decision making to their work fleld.e 2 - Alrigidity - flexibility test should be standeridized and then employed inorder to find out the rigid and to take the necessary steps to remedy the situation. A sample of private "bread - winners"(kasaba) and housewives for the age group 30 - 48 years old. The normal samples were Chosen by Using the model of (class observation). 4. A sample of patients diagnosed clinically as being suffering from depression and who were outpatients in the Consulting Clinic and psychiatric wards in Basrah General Hospital for the years (1997 - 1998 - 1999) and for the age groups 18 - 50 years old. This sample was selected according to one type of probabilistic observation (age sample).B. An Experimental Sample which included the following : 1. A sample of female students from the fourth and fifth years in the Institute for Training Women Teachers in the Govern orate of Basrah for the Academic years 1998 - 1999 and for the age group 19 - 23 years old. The sample was selected throughr the use of the simple random - sample method in order to represent the normal pessimist sample of the experiment.2. A normal optimist sample was selected - through the use of the same method - from among the female students in the Institute for Training Women Teachers and from the staff members of the central Public Library, housewives and private "breadwinners"(Kasaba) to be an external Control group. 3. A clinical sample of patients suffering from depression (males and females) of the age group 18 - 30 years old was selected through deliberate observation.expoti11to1ttalJ 'Dosi91t Two experimental types of design were used in the experiment. The were : A. four experimental groups with one internal Control Group and one external control group for the normal sample.B. Four experimental groups with two internal control groups and one external control group for the clinical sample.App1Jieatio1t ol tao 6xpoti11to1tt Before starting the experiment, the researcher attempted to control the mediating variables, which might have a direct effect on the dependent variable in the experiment. The groups were made identical in their exposure to the nonexperimental variables. An identity comparison was made and no difference among the groups was detected. This means that the groups were drawn from the same communit The researcher then exposed the experimental groups anp the control groups to the pretest. The results indicated a hi~ degree of pessimism where as the members of the external control group demonstrated a high level of optimism. The experimental groups were divided according to the selected methods of the study. Some were treated by the u~ of "imagination - through - music ' technique and the other groups were treated by the use ofthe'e1npty - chair' technique.The Therapy was carried out in the following way : 1. The selected methods of the study were applied t~ the normal pessi1nist sample according to the variable of the type of Therapy (individual - group). 2. The same methods were applied to the clinical sample according to the variable of sex (malesfemales).The experiment took 12 weeks for the normal pessimist ·sample and 21 weeks for the clinical sample. The tow techniques showed that they had great effectiveness in the Therapy of pessimism for the normal pessimist sample. The differences between the experimental groups and the internal control group were statistically significant. By comparing thefindings of the optimist normal in the external control group with the findings of the experimental groups, the differences were statistically significant. This mean~ that the pessimist normal did not reach the level of the optimist normal in the external control group although their level of pessimism was reduced. By comparing the findings of the experimental groups in the light of the variable of type of Therapy (individual - group) there were no differences worth - mentioning. This indicates the effectiveness of both techniques regardless of the type of Therapy employed. 2. The results of the 1nembers of the experiment groups for the clinical sample demon striated the same level of change. Through comparing the findings of the experimental groups with those of the control groups, the differences were statistically significant. Thisproves the effectiveness of both techniques in reducing the level of pessimism in the pessimist patient in the experimental groups. When comparing the findings of the same groups with those of the external control group, the differences were also statisticallysignificant. This means that the pessimist patients did not reach the level of the natural optimism of the normal although they could get over their pessimist reality.eo11ceusio11 Finally, we can summarize the whole thing by saying that this study achieved its objectives and has reached a general conclusion, viz."The two techniques of •imagination - through - music and the' empty chair 'have great effectiveness in the Therapy of pessimism of the nonnal and patients irrespective of the type of Therapy (individual - group or sex (male - female)" The researcher has also arrived at a number · of recommendations and suggestions derive from the findings of the study.

Among the members of this sample only 89 pupils repeated each other year at both the first and second years of their intennediate classes.2 - Tool Data Collection : A. The lrage standardized Raven's progressive Matrice which are developed by Dr.Fakhri AJ. Dabagh , Dr. Mahir Takah and Dr.V. komarlu arc used to find out the mentally preeminent individuals.B. The Questionnaire : The present research worker has prepared questionnaire to pinpoint th\problems faced by the subjects of the study. •The researcher has followed these steps : I - Distributing a pilot questionnire which consists of one open - ende question among twenty pupils to know their problems.2 - number of items were arrived at by analysing the subjects answers to ·the one openemded questions of the questionnaire to there items another ' number of test items were arived at after reviewin some previous studies.The total mumbr of the test items was 85 these items covered six fields educational , psychological , domestic , economic , social and health masters.3 - This tool of data collection was given to a jury to validate the items Each item which got 85 was included in the test were excluded the selectedtest ,items were 65 ones to there items other two were added. The fmal number these items read 67. Before each test item a four point scale.hence the unltiple choice answers suggest that each item is applicble to (a) great extent (6) some extenl (c) little extent , inawlicable. 4 - To prove the validity of queshonnaire items • the queshonnaire was later distributd among (16)subjects. through aretest which was conducted a forry later. The validity factor proved to be (0.88).Final Conduction : The tool was applied again it was distributed among 52 male subjects.' Statistical procedure : The research worker made was the percentage of jury agreement the corrected meens and pearsons Co - efficient factor was made use of there tofmd out the validity of the questionnare. The results that are arrived at are the following : .1 - The corected median was applied to the response. Then the items w~re re - arranged descendingly. The items which got the corrected means 21or more were dropped out. A set of Suggestions were made to make tlhe problems easier later and on the , procedural aims were selected according to the seriousness of those problems.Conclusions : The research worker has come up with to the conclusion lhat the subjects have been suffering from problems from all the six areas or fields. These problems at different degrees of diffir,?lty thus the fields can be re - arranged descendingly as follows : and problems 1 - The school field.2 - The psychological field.3 - The Domestic field. ·4 - The economic field.5 - The social field.6 - The health matters.Recommendations : 1 - An educational counsellor should be available as a member of the staff of every intermediate school in Iraq.If it is difficult to apoint such an official , one of the teachers should receive training in counseling to play the role of a counselor.2 - Awareness of the importance of.counselling should be encuoraged and spread throogh all types of media of commuintcution.3 - Spreading knowledge via parent - teachers meetings through successful treatment fashions with mentally preeminent pupils and not allowing.anxiety to have place their souls to achieve their parents ambitions.Suggestion : 1 - There is a crying need for conductins simalar thesis with female mentally underachievers.2 - Theres is a need for Conducting acomparative study that covers maale and female mentally preeminent from other educational stages primary j prepatory and university. 13 - Making study that aims at building a comprehensive educationa counseling programme to cover the res of the mentally preeminenunder adievers.4 - Since the present research is limited to the center Basrah Govemorate , : it is proposed that further studies shoyld cover the other parts the Govemorate of Basrah and other provinces.

Abstract: Childhood is considered as an important and crucial stage in forming the personality and in fonnulating its characteristics.Studies show that several of those who are suffering of psychological disorders were exposed to shocks or problems during their childhood ; which left deep influence in their personalities.Fears constitute the cornerstone of many psychological disorders like anxiety , phobia , obsession and compulsion Besides, fear is closely related to anger, jealousy and lie.What adds to the importance of the study is that children are in an age where disorder can be easily changed or modified to build a stable personality.. To do this , it is necessary to devise an objective mechanism which enables us to investigate children fears.Aims of the study : The present study ai1ns at : 1. Devising an inventory to survey fears of pupils in the primary stage.2. Measuring fears of pupils in the primary stage. 3. Investigating the fears of pupils in the primary stage according to the variables of : • Sex ( male or female )• The pupil's order among his brothers and sisters (first, middle or last).• Living with the ( father , mother or both ). The research covers only pupils of the primary stage in the daily schools in the city of Basrah during the school year 1999 - 2000.Approach of the Study : The population of the research consists of 67749 pupiis distributed over 542 schools. The number of pupils in the pilot sample is 250. The main sample consists of 800 pupils ( 400 males and 400 females). The pupils were chosen randomly.The researcher utilized a questionnaire to collect data. the first version of the questionnaire includes 95 items distributed over seven axes. These axes are : School fears , animals fears , fears of nature , health fears , family fears , war fears , miscellaneous fears. The questionnaire was then given to specialists and experts of education and psychology so as to judge its reliability. Those items which were agreed upon by less than 80% were taken out and the items left were 82.To ensure the validity of the questionnaire procedures, overt validity and construction validity were followed. After completing these procedures , those items which did not sho\v statistic significance were taken out. Thus the total number of the valid items became only 58. Concerning the consistency of the questionnaire, it was checked by repeating the test. To find out the consistency coefficient , Pearson correlation coefficient was used and it equal 0.83.After administering the questionnaire and collecting the da , data analysis was done by using the percentage , Fischer equation T. test and the differential analysis.Results of the study : The researcher arrived at the following results : 1. The procedures carried out in chapter 3 helped in devising an inventory of the fears of children in the primary stage. 2. Concerning the second aim of the study , it was revealed that the mean of scores of the sample of the study ( 74.32) wa higher than the hypothetical mean ( 58). When the two mean were tested by T. test , it was revealed that it was statisticall significant with a degree of freedom of 799 and significanc level of 0.05. Thirty - two fearful situations were identified fo the pupils of the primary stage.3. Concerning the fourth aim of the study, it was revealed that there are statistically - significant differences in the variable o sex and positively on the side of females in all axes i.e. fears o females were higher than those of males except in the fourth andsixth axes ( health fears and war fears ) where no statistically - significant differences between males and females appear.Results also showed statistically - significant differences in the variable of the order of the child among his brothers and sisters. These differences were between the first and last orders on one side and the middle on the other side. No differences were revealied between the first and last orders.

Abstract: يعاني طالب الجامعة في بعض الاحيان من عجز في تحقيق التوازن بين دوافعه الملحة وضغوط الحياة والتي بدورها تؤثر على صحته النفسية. فطالب الجامعة يمر بمرحلة الشباب ومايتخلل هذه المرحلة من مشكلات وصراعات ناجمة عن سوء توافق دراسي ومن جملة هذه المشكلات الرسوب الدر | A university student sometimes suffers from a deficit in achieving the balance between the pressing motives and,Lite stresses which in turn, affect his mental. Therefore, a university student, undergoing the problems and conflicts which permeate this stage, often suffers from poor academic adjastment. Among these problems is the problem of repeated academic failure. When the student repeats the academic year, he/she is seen as marginalized. This marginalization undercuts the feasibility of the student's efforts and the benefits of supportive measures whether made by family, social group, or educational staff. This cyclical marginalization further reinforces the student's negative perceptions and ideas about himself/herself. Then the student's response to future opportunities and challenges is colored by his/her feelings of being marginalized and, thus, the student does not achieve his or her true potential, the desired results. Thus, this entire process is one of learned helplessness on a declamatory, cognitive, and behavioral level. And this problem is related to another problem which is the Epistemology beliefs among university students which is represented by the system of implicit assumptions which students carry about the nature of knowledge and its acquisition. The study problem is manifested in the answers to the following questions : • Do university students suffer from learned helplessness?• Do the variables of gender, stage, or specialization affect learned helplessness among university students?• What is the level of Epistemology beliefs among the university students?• Do the variables of gender, stage and the specialization have an effect on the Epistemology beliefs among the university students?• Is there a relationship between learned helplessness and cognitive beliefs among the university?The research aims at the following : 1. Measuring the level of learned helplessness among university students.2. Identifying any significant differences of learned helplessness among university students according to the variables( 1) gender; (2) specialization;( c) academic status (success versus failure).3. Measuring the level of the Epistemology beliefs among university students4. Identifying the differences of Epistemology beliefs among university students according to the variables : (a) gender; b : specialization; ( c) academic status (success v. failure).5. Recognizing the relationship between Epistemology beliefs and learned helplessness among university students? To achieve the goals of the research, a scale to measure learned helplessness has been prepared depending on Seligman's theory. The scale consists of 49 items to measure learned helplessness. Additionally, Skomer's scale of Epistemology beliefs was also modified to suite the study sample (university students). The psychometric properties of the scale were extracted by adopting a method of comparing terminals and the reliability of internal consistency, and the stability of the scales was extracted by Cronbach's alpha formula. This scale is applied to a sample of university students (repeaters - and successful) numbering 723 male and female students for the academic year 2015/2016 by using of the variance triple analysis and Pearson correlation coefficient.The most significant results are : 1. Failed (marginalized) students have a level of learned helplessness. 2. There is difference between the Epistemology beliefs of the successful students and the failed (marginalized) students.3. There is a negative correlation relationship between learned helplessness and Epistemology beliefs (learning speed) of the successful students.4. There is a positive correlation relationship between the learned helplessness and Epistemology beliefs. In light of these results, the researcher made some recommendations and proposals : 1. Through programs of the center of teaching methods, the lecturers are enlightened by the most effective ways to deal with the students to raise their motivation to attain and achieve success; especially, focus on students whose academic status is low.2. Holding training courses for the teachers through the programs of teaching methods at university to develop their Learning strategies and how they can develop the Epistemology beliefs of the students
