Identifying the design characteristics for small residential spaces.? Finding properties for practical purposes theory of small spaces in the Iraqi residential environment.The research was identified by three boundaries : Reduction objective ,"The Properties Designing For Small Spaces in Iraqi Residential Environment" and the spatial limit : residential spaces with minimum area of 100 m² in the city of Baghdad Rusafa. The temporal limit, residential spaces constructed between 2003 and 2012. The researcher has identified the terms related to the subject matter, namely : characteristics, design and space, the environment and housing.The second chapter (theoretical framework) has included the study of three sections : Section I (space and residential space,) Section II (factors in determining the form of housing,) Section III (housing and the affecting environmental elements). The theoretical framework has produced a set of indicators, which helped the researcher to build axes form analysis.The third chapter has covered the search procedures, which included the research community consisting of the design characteristics of the small spaces in the Iraqi residential environment constructed between 2003 and 2011, with minimum area of 100 m² in the city of Rusafa section of Baghdad. The researcher has chosen the models intentionally following the descriptive approach to analyze the models. On the other hand, the analysis tool was a form axes analysis after it has been presented to the professors of experience and competency.The fourth chapter included quantitative results of samples and discussions : ? Achieved proportionality and harmony in the length and width dimensions of living space to grant visual and flexibility of the dynamic pathways and agreed with the manner of the formal organization of the furniture units.? In order to achieve this objective , the researcher formulates the following objectives : - 1. Revealing the range of the employment of new technology in developing artistry educational concepts for the intermediate students.2. Designing teaching plans in the artistry education subject according to the new educational technology to teach the students artistry concepts.3. Measuring the efficiency of teaching plans through its implementation upon empirical sample from first year intermediate students.4. The employment of computer programs ( power point ) by using artistry education subject for intermediate study. In order to achieve those objectives , the researcher chose the society of his research from the first year intermediate students of intermediate stage belonging to the General Directorate for Rasafa ( 2 ) education by choosing ( 20 ) students subjected to empirical measures. Accordingly designing of teaching plan is made for limited artistry concepts with in artistry education fields. Then it was made a design of knowledge collection test , and another to measure by the form of evaluation of the skill performance. The results are displayed to a group of specialists experts in teaching methods , measurements and evaluation. In order to display the results , the researcher adopted a set of statistical means such as ( welcoksin ,t - test , Cuedor Richardson 20 , difficulty process equation and distinction , and Holisty equation.The main results that the researcher reaches are : - 1. The superiority of the empirical group who used artistry education teaching plans ( artistry concepts ) came because of organization in learning information ,educational expertise and sequence of required artistry skills and reach it to the students by clarity of educational objectives and behavior with knowledge performance and organized skills which facilitate gaining artistry concepts and implement them in their artistic expression through drawing.2. Education process is mental an skill process which is responded by the student for their effective contributions through getting artistry concepts and employ them in comply with educational situations specially that related artistry expression in drawing board which needs training on understanding those concepts and their distinction. Information could be measured through knowledge collection test and skill test according to the skill performance evaluation. According to those conclusions , the researcher recommended a group of recommendations which the most important are the following : - 1. Using prepared teaching plans in this research about the direction of use the skills of the colors with in artistry education teaching which are fixed for the secondary stage due to its effectiveness for developing visual and sensual concepts for the students and improve the artistic skill. 2. So it depicted the sensible and made it embodied physical to lay an imagery and answers in renewable methods, thus it creates a new reality with more accuracy and adjustment via the cinematic picture due to what it owns of elasticity and great capacities on embodying the reality and the imagined together which make it of credibility and rhetoric in expression influencing the receiver. The metaphoric construction in the cinematic picture works at the formation between the visible expression elements that exist in this picture like the shape and the generated meaning. It is not possible to solve the intermingle of the metaphoric structure without addressing the vertical constructs and getting away from the linear or the horizontal reading, which means that metaphor relies basically on the intellectual construction and the aware imagery of the receiver to solve the reticulation of the metaphoric structure. The metaphoric structure refers to outside the limits of action or incidence itself, yet it has an intellectual dimension inside the pictorial frame that is a pillar for understanding the basic action. The metaphoric construction became a artistic need that works at more than one level inside the structure of the cinematic film, hence our study was within this axis under the title (The Metaphoric Construction ofthe Expression Elements in the Cinematic Picture). Thus, the study here is interested in addressing the metaphor and how it operates with the expression elements in a way that leads to enriching the optical and intellectual content in the scene structure and what the content of expressing intension achieves, expands and deepens the pictorial meaning and increases the receiver's attraction to interact with it. This is what the thesis contained through its chapters divided by the researcher into four chapters. The first chapter came as a methodological framework for the research comprising of the research problem and its necessity where the problem was defined by the following question : what are the ways according to which the metaphoric construction of the expression elements is made in the cinematic picture? Chapter two included the research theoretical framework and the most important previous studies which are connected with this research. This chapter included three sections, the first one was (The Concept of Metaphor) addressing the analysis of metaphor structure in language, its concept for the linguistic philosophers and modernist, its concept according to the modern theory in addition to the conceptual and cultural asymptotics and its concept in the cinema. The second section entitled (The Patterns of Cinematic Metaphor) was a definition of the metaphoric patterns which are shown in the cinematic picture. It was a must first to try to understand the properties and conception of the picture and its role in producing the meaning, also the context role in defining the meaning of metaphor and which the citations say that they attract the receivers' attention as a metaphor. In the third section entitled (The Operating Mechanisms of the metaphor in the System of Expression Elements), the researcher addressed the metaphor structure and its relation with the picture, thedirector and the receiver, the montage role, the phonetic structure and its different elements, the camera, the formation and the colors in constructing the metaphor in the cinematic picture. The research should extract indicators by which he is guided to analyze his samples, thus his indicators submitted to the evaluation of an elite of experts encompassed the analyses contained in the research. Some of the indicators were as the following : It was a must to be guided by the previous studies addressing the research topic, in that the researcher did not find academic studies join this research in address, but some limited uses of metaphor were found within their researches and the ones concerned our current research were discussed. As to chapter three, it was the chapter that contained the research procedures including the research method which was the descriptive method and the research sample.The fourth chapter included the extraction of the final result stemmed from the analysis which came to answer the aims posed by the researcher. On the whole, art turned to be a world of experimentation including both the raw material and technicality through matching to the extent that new concepts came into being : the artist departed the restrictions of specialization and moved into the free multiple and comprehensive plastic art. Since the early 1950's, the Iraqi artists have been creatively. aware of the world - wide tendency of experimentation. This study is an attempt to shed some light on the technical matching in contemporary Iraqi sculpture. It is concerned with the expressive and aesthetic values that stem from the technical matching. Chapter Four includes the analysis of the samples and display of results. The following are of the results : 1. Matching has been proved through of the application of more than one technique in each piece of work. 2. Matching has enabled the artist to go beyond the limit of the material. 3. Matching has paved the way for the artist to make all possible use of the sense and structure plastic and expressive potentials to achieve a variety of relative values such as the plastic, expressive, and aesthetic ones. 4. Chapter Five is concerned with the Conclusions, Recommendations and Suggestions. The following are five conclusions. a. A large number of contemporary Iraqi artists have applied technical matching to their sculpture masterpieces. b. Sculpture has developed a lot through using newly factory products and rubbish. c. Sculpture has turned to be given new dimensions and concepts by contemporary Iraqi artists within the realm of postmodern plastic arts. d. It has been found out that there are new aesthetic dimensions of sculpture work arrived at by the plastic artist through matching. Abstract: The Arabic calligraphy art is considered one of the great and distinct products in the Islamic art history, which cover wide areas in the Islamic architecture, including the walls of the holy Husseini shrine, until they gained Islam's indication and became resembling its symbol according to its function in the font of the holy Quranic texts, where this characteristic formed a strong incentive to seek its development. The emergence of the calligraphic formations is one of the products of this continual endeavor, and an advanced stage at the level of technical and expressive development as well as one of the natural products generated by the font development and the increase of their functioning methods through what they registered at the level of formal characteristics and the systems of their formational levels. Yet, the absence of the analytical critical aspect of these works led to the weakness of aesthetic visions to them, in that these products were not confined to only calligraphic accommodations, but they reflected a constructiveness of calligraphic and decorative varieties according to various showing techniques. Because this topic was not studied in a form that clarifies the aspects of weakness and defect or strength and quality in calligraphic formations, and this can be achieved by the extent of their convergence and divergence from their artistic and rule properties as well as their executive techniques which focus totally within the topic (Evaluating the Calligraphic Formations on the Holy Husseini Shrine); therefore, the researcher sought in the first chapter of his study to pose the problem in the following questions : • What is the artistic evaluation criterion of the calligraphic formations on the walls of the holy Husseini shrine? • What is the artistic evaluation of the calligraphic formations on the walls of the holy Husseini shrine which is built on the base of this criterion? In order to arrive at the desired results, the research aims at identifying the calligraphic formations on the walls of the holy Husseini shrine through the study of artistic and rule properties of the calligraphic formations on the walls of the holy Husseini shrine and the systems of their formation levels and executive techniques. The researcher defined its research population for its current position (1433AG/2012AD). The axes of the theoretical framework in the second chapter based on topics like (the origin of wall calligraphic formations, the artistic and rule properties of the calligraphic formations on the walls of the holy Husseini shrine and the executive techniques of the calligraphic formations on the walls of the holy Husseini shrine). As to the third chapter, it was dedicated to display the research procedures which population included the calligraphic formations mounted (40) examples from which the researcher selected his purposeful samples mounted (10) examples, which formed a percentage of (25%) out of the total population. He followed the descriptive method making use of the instrument represented by an analysis form constructed on several axes on which validation was supervised by a group of experts in this domain, as well as it included the sample analysis. While the fourth chapter comprised of a display of (results, conclusions, recommendations and proposals). Through analyzing the selected samples, a group of results emerged as the following : Through analyzing the selected samples, a collection of results were shown as follows : 1 - Some letters in all samples were written in a way that contradicts the structure of the real letters and some of which were effaced in addition to the clear abuse of their positions and bases in a way irrelevant to the Arabic calligraphy whatsoever. 2 - The reduplicating line decreases the clarity and readability at the vision level in terms of the place of calligraphic formations on the wall, which manifest its specialty where its letters' size is more accurate that the letters' size of the evident or normal Thuluth font when written with the same pen, as in example (1). 3 - Among the aesthetic characteristics of Naskh and Thuluth fonts, the location of the construing and decorative movements add a sobriety and beauty on the calligraphic line and fulfill a functional and aesthetic harmony with the letters and words which is obvious in example (2). 4 - The calligrapher did not consider the interval ratios among the lines and sentence paragraphs in the sample examples, and the non - proportion in size among them, for they form the most important fundamental pivots in the constructional map of the calligraphic formation, which was not previously laid as well as the absence of the technical experience required for achievement which formed a constructive malfunction for these examples. As to the most important conclusions, they were represented by the following : 1 - The location of the construing and decorative movements adds to the calligraphic line a sobriety and beauty and fulfils a functional and aesthetic harmony with the letters and words, yet the nonuse of construing and decorative movements in fulfilling their goals which were found for them made the interaction with the calligraphic achievement weak and unable to motivate the receiver's aesthetic taste. 2 - The non - writing of the calligrapher's signature and the date of achievement in all samples form a phenomenon of plundering the artistic rights and effacing the artistic phenomenon which should be supported and documented because it accounts for the presence of calligraphic art and its future. 3 - The construing and decorative movements were written in a way uncommitted to the standard norms and rules put for them; therefore, their forms came cadaverous and they were unsuitable to be used in the formations of the clear Thuluth font. In continuance with the results and conclusions, the recommendations and proposals came followed by a list of references, figures and appendices, and then the researcher ended the research with its English abstract.

Strange classic pluralism and symbolic form in the formulation for the purpose of organizing the relation ship between form and meaning are indicative and highlight the symbolic meaning and privacy and achieve the humanitarian need of wildlife. After that, the research procedures that the third chapter contains following the descriptive method (method of analyzing the content) in order to arrive to the results, the tool of the research will be presented as an application form to identify the issues that the researcher build with the help of experts then the chapter contains the process of selecting intentional samples for reasons explained before by the researcher which is estimated by (15) samples of different posters also the research take into consideration the truth and constancy of the research tool. Chapter four includes a description and analyzing the (15) samples of the research according to the issues studied.Chapter five presents and discusses the results such as : 1 - The personal effect of the designer appears in all the samples through adding personal touches on the posters in spite of using a group of styles in his design. 2 - Using different techniques of procedures external edges of the forms that make it fit to the main space and give the poster connection to the visual whole and the headlines which leads to give aesthetic significant touches to all the samples numbers (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14).3 - Chromatically using comes on two sections : section one is related to the style used in the poster and according to its executive and intellective establisher. The second section is related to implementation pressures controlled by the typical idea that is considered as the personal style of the designer and this using affected the poster with aesthetic values and this result appears in all the research samples (100%).Researcher concluded that a number of conclusion after the show results and the discussion that took place by including the factors.Factors have the times and traditions schools arts and global limitation on Poland from the years of war in the maturing and development of ideas put forward and made functional and aesthetic dimensions of stylistic diversity. In the same time, (png) format style used only in the samples number 5 and 3 as shown in table 25 and table 13. Which showed the extent of non - designer benefit from the use of its high lossless compression density and unsuitable for printing on - screen display because of the small size of files. While, the using style images (bmp) in the sample (5) as illustrated in table 25 which is one of the formulas that are not dealt with in the online search engines due to the great size of this file that causes a big problem in uploaded on the internet.3. Hypertext technology expands advertising spaces of the titles and highlights the active role in promoting the hegemonic formalities. For these titles that highlight changes color and light or formal functions on the existence of hyperlinks contribute to follow ideas and topics within the site pages of the advertising or outside, as appears in the samples (2,3,4,5,6,7,10) illustrated in tables (10,16,22,28,34,40,58), while employing of this technique would highlights negative sign of many displayed titles in all samples functionality and aesthetic.4. Hypermedia techniques have not been activating a lot of banner ads displayed in all samples. While, hired some of them to act as a hyperlinks and navigate through pages and sites inside and outside the site appeared in the samples(3,4,5,7,10) illustrated in the tables (16, 22, 28, 40, 58) developed the capabilities of functional images and their uses and consumer data and additional information specific to the product and highlight the importance of marketing, in addition to its importance and aesthetic role.5. Dominated display buttons type in the samples(5,6,10) in tables (60,36,30) which contained private static images to the product advertising. Characterized announcements from large buttons that appeared in the sample(2,6,9) in the table(12,36,54) adding flash movement and gleams on all design elements that appeared in pictures or text or trademarks contribute actively to attract the attention and interest of the consumer and its follow - up, despite their small size and linked directly with the advertiser.6. Digital technology contributed innovator in the style of our new design supports to view the products advertising in a way ads flash that appear in the form of strips advertising or display footage. Animations product advertising in flashes alternating using the programs of java or format programs flash swf offered in all samples except the sample number (3 ) that appeared in one ad contributed employ this technology to support aspects graphically and topography in this announcement and the events attract optical and indistinguishable to the rest of the ads, while not appear employ this technology in the sample number(5,10) in the table(29,59) lost these samples importance of electronic and interactive qualities, especially that the presence of these new technologies is no longer an obstacle in the display advertising components and downloading speed on the network.

The third inquiry includes the effective influences in the transformation of the contemporary English Sculpture form. It is subsided into four axes : the first is about the liberation of the artists and art from the domination of the authority which focuses on the artists' freedom of expressionaway from the domination of authority of the society like the royal and church. The second focuses on the effect of WWII on the conception and ideas for the sculptors, while the third is concerned with the influences of the modern contemporary European and American sculpture on the form of English sculpture. The inquiry concentrates on the most important European and American sculptors investors of the new artistic schools on the British sculpture. The last inquiry has concentrated on the effect of economy and technological progress and the consumption culture in the British society on the form of English sculpture.The third chapter includes the procedure of study which is the research community and sample and what are the reasons for choosing the sample that attained 21 sculpture models as well as the justification for selecting the research community in addition to the procedure of the study which is the descriptive analytical followed in the analysis of the works. Perhaps the most prominent were the training program at the College of Fine Arts, so is the Department of Art Education, one of the scientific departments, which aims to rehabilitate the student in accordance with the standards required and to be in a capacity and efficiency in the teaching of this article after their move to the other phase.The Department of Artistic Education curriculum - represented by the (school theater, child theater , play techniques and handicrafts ) which often rely on visual methods and be meaningful, whether directly or indirectly to the recipient. Accordingly and from here there was a real need to give the students of the department of art education, skills and cognitive performance and expertise needed in masks theater and uses industry through designed training program for this purpose that makes the students able to produce a theatricalmask commensurate with the nature of the personal and the requirements posed on stage as well as how to use it.Since the mask theater is a stable and visible way does not mean anything without the actor owns (the student) skill properly handled in educational situations or scenes offer, so the objectives of the current research are to achieve the following points : - ? Construction of a training program to give students of department of artistic education skills and the methods and way to use play - making masks.? Measure the effectiveness of the program in both dimensions ; knowledge and skills. The society of the current research is the students of department of artistic education / College of Fine Arts / University of Wasit / with a total number of (114) students, who have been selected randomly from the third stage students who were (23) students, whom the represented the amount of (20%) of the original research society. The training program which that applied was prepared according to the sample or a form of task analysis for (Charles Regelyot) on one experimental group, as used with a minimum of settings experimental design to measure the effectiveness of the training program in masks theater industry and how it is used, and to achieve this , two instruments have been designed : ? Achievement of collecting ( cognitive ) test to measure the acquisition of the targeted group of the foundations of knowledge in the industry and the use of theatrical masks.? Achievement collecting test (skills) to measure the extent of which the targeted group acquired artistic skills in the industry and the use of masks during the four evaluation tools (Note) have been designed by the researcher for thispurpose. Both instruments of the research along with the related evaluated instrument have been subjected to the terms of honesty , alignment and stability for the purpose of making them codified tools have appropriate psychometric characteristics and that can be adopted later in similar or complementary experimental research for the current search later. The researcher used a number of statistical methods to show the search results which represented by the most important equation of (Wilcoxon ) to investigate the results of the two collecting tests grades knowledge ( cognitive ) and skills, the equations of difficulty coefficient , discrimination paragraphs achievement test of collecting knowledge, objectivity, and the coefficient of correlation (Point Baiserial) to calculate the correlation between the degree of paragraph and the total degree of testing to verify the veracity of the substantive paragraphs in cognitive collecting test and the coefficient of correlation (Pearson) to calculate the correlation between the degree of paragraph and total score for the test to check the veracity of the paragraphs relating to the first question in the achievement test of knowledge, and to calculate the achievement test cognitive constancy as the researcher used equation of (alpha - Cronbach).The equation (Pearson correlation coefficient) is used to find the stability of skill performance evaluation in industry and the use of masks theatrical tools. The most important results reached by the current research are : 1. Efficiency of the experimental group in the post - test on their answers to the paragraphs of the achievement test of knowledge in the industry and the use of play masks, their grades in the pre - test, which confirms the effectiveness of the training program, among other things of cognitive foundations related to the skills of industry and the use of masks play an organizational contexts, as well as the nature of the educational activities and events designed to accommodate the content of the prepared training program.As well as sequenced relay procedural according to the model of education adopted in the (task analysis), which helped to sequence and coherence of the cognitive aspects with teaching aids, therefore ;understanding and improvement in the better collection of knowledge.2. The efficiency of the experimental group (which is trained according to the stages of the prepared training program in accordance with the sample analyzing the tasks about their responses to paragraphs achievement test the collecting skill in the industry and the use of play masks with respect to the four artistic skills) in the post - test, Based on the results ,the researcher recommended the following : 1. Benefit from the training program and the adoption of pre - development centers in the Ministry of Higher Education& Scientific research through the establishment of training and qualifying courses for the students of Department of Artistic Education. 2. Work on the preparing of supplies and materials for teaching artistic skills to rule the school theater in particular, and theatrical techniques in general, and in particular industry and the use of theatrical masks, being involved in the process of preparing students in the Department of Art Education for the teachingprofession for the next stage. 3. Holding a special annual festival art of mask theater with the participation of students, which is to provide models of theatrical masks, which deals with materials , raw materials and the different topics and formats that go into the theater. 4. Preparing specialized technical staff in the field of industry and the use of play masks takes into consideration to implement what suits their designs for masks according to modern methods, so as to ensure the development of artistic skills and its continuity, and finally lead to manufacture masks compatible with the outfit with physical actor configurations and without creating trouble or damage for the actor who used these masks.The researcher suggested conducting the following tworesearches : - 1. Training program to let the national team of actors to get skillfulness in the art of stage mask industry and use it in the shows of child theatre.2. - Artistic and dramatic employment of theatrical mask in school - theatre shows.At the end of the research , the researcher presented a list of Arabic and English references
