Abstract: This thesis is entitled " quotation and implementation in Nahjul Balaga" The holy Quran Hadieth , the old Arabic poetry and proverbs are considered as a source for the writers and poets along the time. And "Nahjul Balaga " is one of them. It is considered as the most important example in making use of such sources , because the huge amount of quotations and implementations it contains. The quotations and implementations are used in " Nahjul Balaga " in two different ways ; direct and indirect ways. It is easy to understand the first one but it is difficult to attribute the second one.The way of the quotation and the implementation , Al Emam uses , shows his great ability in memorizing and the good handling of analyzing the texts. The thesis is divided into two parts : The first is entitled as " The quotation in Nahjul Balaga " and the second is " implementation in Nahjul Balaga ". Each one has three chapters The first chapter is allotted to show the kinds of both the quotations and mplementations. The second chapters sheds lights on their functions. The third one deals with the characteristics of each kind. All this is done after an introduction about the linguistic and idiomatic meanings of the quotation and the implementation and the relationship between them and the modern theory of the text. At the end the researchers conclude the important findings andthere is also a bibliography for the books and journals adopted in this study It is a simple attempt to serve our Arabic tradition and to be one of those who tried to do so.At the end I have to thank all those who read , correct , comment and translate the work. Thank you and God bless you

Abstract: Naturally , man loves nature and likes to enjoy it to add to his delight happiness , hope , tranquility , satisfactian and smile. Therefore , beauty is necessary to complete his essential needs without which he can not live happily and to help him bear his being and do things. Beauty arouses optimism and sense of communication and makes our life full and perfect intellectually and socially. Thus , it is a distinguishing sign between developed and underdeveloped societies. Man is also used to abandon all that may disturb felicity of his life. During his search for sources about the different times of the Andulsian era , the researcher found out great interest in those aspects of life that recalled painful sad memories of grief and distress. As examples of such studies , we may notice : Sari Mohammad Al - Samadi "Sadness in the Andulsian Poetry in the Fifth Hijri century " M.A. Thesis , Yarmuk University , Jordan , 1990 ; Baseem Abd Al - Adheem Abd Al - Qadir " Poetry of Captivity and lmprisonment in Andulsia " Ph. D. Dissertation , Ein Shams University ,1994 ; Abd Al - Lateef Mahmood Majeed " war poetry in Andulsia From Conquer to Collapse of the Khilafa " M, A. Thesis , Mustansiriya University , 1987 ; Fawaz Ahmed Muhammad Al - Taei " lmage of the Foreign Enemy in the Andulsian Poetry in the Fifth Hijri Century " M.A. Thesis , Mosul University , 2002 ; Ibraheem Abd Wehayib " Poetry of Calamity in Andulsia From Establishment of Al - Muwahadeen State till Collapse of Bani Al - Ahmar State " M.A. Thesis , lmam Muhammad Bin Sauood lslamic University , 1984. There were also the studies of different types of elegy that also evoked sadness. The researcher had not found a study or a research either directly or indirectly that tackled feelings of joy , delight or happiness or that described the Andulsians as happy , glad and optimistic people living in a peaceful beautiful place that gave them satisfaction and entertainment. As a result , the researcher attempted , in this study , to investigate the reasons behind the smile , happiness , delight and gaiety of the Andulsisns by studying the different aspects of their life that their poets depicted. The aim was to study the features of delight in the Andulsian poetry from the conquer till end of Al - Tawaif (cults) era. This period was selected for study because of the very little disturbance that eccurred during it. The study made use of many sources of language , literatare , history , psychology and religion in addition to biographies and it included an lntroduction , five chapters , conclusions , bibliograghy and abstract in Arabic. ln the introduction , the linguistic and semantic meanings of delight and its synonymes were highlighted. Chapter one describes nature as the purest and most inspirong factor of motivation for poets. The Andulsian poets chanted for nature and , in turn , it presented to them happiness , pleasure , gaiety and ecstasy. That was reflected in the way they brightly coloured their images and meanings with delight and call for entertainment and happiness. Chaptr two showed how the Andulsian poets admired the charming , tender and beautiful Andulsian woman who created smile , enjoyment , hope and radiance and who was the real motivator of delight and happiness that every Andulsian was looking for. Chaptr three reviewed delight in the parties of the Andulsian Artists where we could notice different activities of literature , singing or drinking. Those parties documented the cultural , social and psychological aspects of the Andulsan society and the way the Andulsian people used to entertain themselves. The Andulsian people were relaxed and gentle with the smile always covering their faces with gaiety , humour and happiness. Chapter four studied delight in both religous and secular occassions and celebrations of the Andulsians and shed light on the inherited habits and customes that they adopted to delight them. There were those poets who were keen to establish and deepen these traditions in the Andulsian heritage. Some periods in history were brihgt and full of happiness and tranquility that all people looked for to enjoy and refine the soul. Chapter five identified the prominent artistic characteristics of poetry of delight in Andulsian as far as language , style , imagery and music were concerred. As for language and style , the researcher picked out the words that expressed delight and discussed some linguistic styles the poets used to express delight. As for imagery , the researcher referred to the different models (same of them were new) that the Andulsian poets used to show delight. ln the artistic musical side. the researcher noticed that poetry of delight had music of very high taste which reflected the state of the poet within the very atmospheres that motivated delight , tranquility and psychological relax. Finally , study of delight in Andulsian poetry was determined by the condition of the poet which was an outcome of the events. Thus , it was not out of the motivators of happiness and gaiety to attain hope. Man is a group of feelings of both happiness and sadness and happiness is the origin because it is the closest to the innate psyche of the human.

Abstract: the meaning. The most important form of intransitive structures is describing the sense on resurrection. The third chapter deals with suggestion denotations between transitive and intransitive in community structures and its different meaning. Thus I hope that I am succeeding in presenting a tiny effort to serve the Holy Mighty Quran. If I succeed that is from glory Allah help that he is given to whom he wishes, and if I am not, it is very reliving that I do my all best. Finally I thank Allah for everything and peace upon our prophet Mohammed bin Abd - Allah.Since, it is a wide subject to deal with, this dissertation falls into three main chapters, it is preceded by preface and followed by the main conclusion of the study in the preface the researcher deals with the suggestive denotation from linguistic view points as it is a partial part in the study. And it’s the base of the study subject. The first chapter is divided into three section ,the second chapter is divided into two sections, but the third chapter without any sections. The first chapter consists of three sections the first one study the transitive structure and the different denotations in the Quran expression. Concerning the second section, the researcher yields the denotation from structure perspective (emitting, forwarding and delaying). The research concentrate on the transitivity in Quran. The intransitive of subject and object reflects the coherence in Quran text and the strength of the expressions that coordinated with other elements of the structure. For example there is only subject and there is object. Whereas the third section deals with indirect transitive in the Quran expressions and its denotation inside the Quran text. Quran uses the letters very precisely as it puts a letter in a correct place, there are transitive verb by themselves ones or by a transitive letter sometimes. And there are verb become transitive by a letter within a context and another text. So each verb has it denotations, whereas the second verb reflects intransitive meaning of the Quran meaning. Therefore it is put in two sections : the first one is specified for presenting the denotation meaning of the intransitive structures across Quran expressions, whilst the second one deals with structural meaning of intransitive verbs, as the structures a reflection onThis study is about (The Suggestive Denotation To The transitive And Intransitive In The Quran Expression) ,and there is no secret that the search in holly Quran is very difficult because its deal with texts created by glory Allah, that's every word in strong structure , however every letter in it put in the appropriate place then no other letter can put instead of other one, And that's the secret of its power.Maybe from the reconciliation and good luck to search in the book of glory Allah, and this need to try hard and more followed, then my master Dr. Fakher Al - Yassiry refer to study (The Suggestive Denotation To The Transitive And Intransitive In The Quran Expression), thus there was double feeling in my soul between fear and worry to study the book of glory Allah, because there is difficult come from studied the suggestive denotation in the Quran expression, and that don't interest in the external things ,but search in suggest denotation in simples and marks - more of this - that subject don’t control to stable ,constant rules and no one standard in Quran expression, that maybe transitive come in intransitive form, and the intransitive come in transitive form. The importance of subject is come from it's study what suggest of denotation from simples and marks, so, the subject is study the structure and its picture inside the Quran text ,then its study the building structures and his appropriate with the other structures, then study denotation of all this in clearing the suggestive denotation.

Abstract: In modern academic writing we need to open doors on our legacy henceforth we decided to write on the other in Arabic - Islamic oratory until 132 A.H. since it has sufficient data to be studied. Working with the cultural criticism means overcoming the aesthetic vision that dominated for a long time and dealing with the text as structure related to cultural structuralism affected by the cultural authority. The “other” is a topic which is part of the cultural criticism that reveals the intertextuality in the texts which in tern reveals the consciousness of the sender and receiver. Although there are many studies that deal with Arabic oratory, but the approach we adopt is totally different. We consulted so many history books and Islamic books in order to arrive at the exact meaning of the text and the connotations of the context of situation. Accordingly, the study falls into introduction, three chapters and conclusion. The introduction displays the necessary terminology which the dissertation is based on like : the other, simulation and oratory. We depended on some references and the opinion of some authorities and the way these terms are employed by modern writers. Besides, the Quraanic usage is also adopted. Chapter One deals with the other in the oratory of the prophet (pbuh) and his companions. It consists of four sections. The first tackles the Muslim Other , whereas the second tackles the woman. The thirs deals with the believer for which we chose Abu Bakr Al - Sadeeq where the fourth section is devoted to the other who is consistent with the prophet(pbuh). The second part is devoted to the public other. We recognized that the prophet(pbuh) dealt with the other equally. People have no favorism except in loyalty. He uses very easy expressions and structures. Chapter Two covers the opponent in the oratory of Imam Ali(pbuh). Section one deals with his followers ho refrained from Jihad. Section two deals with the opponent other in the oratory of Imam Hassan (pbuh) and Imam Hussein(pbuh). Section three displays the topic in the thought of Khawarij. Whereas section four deals with the opponent in the oratory of Al - Hajjaj. What is remarkable in this period is oratory has a Hajjaji style due to conflicts and clashes. Chapter Three durveys the levels of the other. It falls into three sections. The first one shows the oratory from superior to inferior. It includes advice and guidance, threat and political, religious and administrative guidance from the Caliph to the public. Section two deals with the match. The first part tackles the political match. Part two tackles the social match. Whereas the third part covers the religious match which is characterized by an easy going style since the addressee is a match. The second section is devoted to oratory from inferior to superior. It is divided into three parts. Part one deals with sympathy and appeal. Part two deals with challenge. Part three deals with counseling and preaching which is characterized by being calm.

وبعد : فالصوت ظاهرة طبيعية،تستلزم وجود جسم في حالة اهتزاز او تذبذب،وهذه | Ancient Arab scholars spent invaluable efforts within the area of Arabic phonology. These efforts prove that such scholars are fully aware of the nature of sounds and the speech organs which were accurately described. Laws and rules for sounds were set up and the relationship between these sounds were shown. These efforts and contributions are easily recognized by Abualaswad Al - Dwali's self - observation and Al - Khalil Bin Ahmed's classification of speech sounds. The latter described speech sounds from an articulatory point of view which had laid the foundation for a school called lexical phonology. In addition Sibawaihi classified Arabic speech sounds in terms of place of articulation. Such a classification gave rise to what is called the grammarians' school of phonology. It is beyond dispute that the subfields of Arabic linguistics are interrelated to one another and to the Glorious Quran. It is very rare to find a given topic which is for instance, purely morphological, i.e. other levels of linguistic analysis are in valued in it. Due to this characteristic, there is a variety of studies as far as the general attitude of works is concerned. The present study sets itself to gather the contributions of these schools of phonology and clarifies the procedures followed by the leading figures of each school. Such schools have been classified in the light of the aims behind studying the phonological material. Accordingly, five schools have been investigated in the present work. In addition, an introductory chapter entitled "schools of phonology and knowledge Heritage by Arabs' is devoted to the perspective of the study and how far it is applied to the schools of phonology by ancient Arab scholars. As for the first chapter, it is concerned with the school of "lexical phonology" and how those "lexicophonolgists dealt with the phonological material. The leading scholar here is Al - Khalil Bin Ahmed Al - Farahidi who was taken as an example by other lexicophonologists. The second chapter is devoted to the treatment of phonological material by Arab grammarians who gave rise to the "grammarians' school of phonology." within this school, the phonological study underwent development which started before Sibawaihi. It is true to say that the latter brought it to maturity. in his famous book " Al - Kitab". The third chapter is named as "The phonology school of Readers". The efforts of a group of scientists have been dealt with. Those scholars gave priority to the phonological study which farmed the basis for their investigations. The fourth chapter concerns itself with the treatment of the phonological material by some Muslim philosopher. They investigated the material from a physical and articulatory standpoint. Although such a school had lasted for a long period of time, it had not attracted a large number of scholars. Concerning chapter five, it has studied the phonological efforts of rhetoricians. These efforts have not been given due attention by previous studies. The study of phonology by those scholars is not a marginal one, rather it is serious and systematic. Al - Kahalil Bin Ahmed Al - Farahidi organized his dictionary (Al - Ain) on the basis of phonology to give the lexical units a phonological arrangements. As to Sibawaihi, he focused on the study of Arabic speech sounds in order to precisely investigate assimilation. He maintains that he described the letters of the dictionary so that one can recognize where assimilation is possible or not. Regarding the rhetoricians, they adopted a totally different approach to study sounds where the theory of articulation of sounds is considered as a rhetorical and critical criterion to judge whether a particular word is standard or not. Scholars of readings are concerned with how sounds are articulated or produced. The dealt with the distinctive features characterizing speech sounds. They also viewed speech sounds from a physical point of view

Abstract: This study shows the effect of the Holy Quran in the development of Arabic language as we believe that the Holy Quran has enriched Arabic language with great creative energies which have not reached before its revelation though it has got to an advanced stage of development. In order to know the amount of Quranic development in the use of the sort of preposition known in Arabic as : Huroof al - ma'ani , (Huroof al - mani ) and specify its size and places, the study has chosen the two - latter and Three - latter prepositions in order to investigate their Quranic uses. In order to know this development , the Quranic uses were compared with another texts of rhetoric which represent the best rhetoric al ones before the revelation of Quran. This texts were quoted from the poetry of " The Suspended Poems ". The study has chose the Diwans of The Seven Suspended Poems according to Al - zozani version. their poets were : Umru'a aL - Qeis (80 b.h) ; Turaf bin AL - Abd (60 b.h) ; AL - Harith bin Hilleza (54 b.h) ; Amr bin Kalthoom (39 b.h) ; Antara bin Shadad (22 b.h) ; Zuhair bin Abi Salma (13 b.h) ; Labeed bin Rabia AL - Amiri (41 a.h).The Study has investigated the use of two - Letter and three - Letter prepositions in their Diwans and balanced the Quranic use with them. That was in three chapters the first chapter entitled "the preposition : its whatness , its place in language and use. This is a theoretical chapter which explained the meaning of the prepositions and its place among the parts of speech in Arabic and the ancient and modern Arab philologist's view point of its nature and function. Also the Speech levels in the use of words and how to change the means of eliciting the meaning according to the different levels speech The chapter has also presented the two theories of "alternation and affirmation" which were used to deal with the multi meaning of the preposition. The chapter ends with the conclusion on that the two theories are not exempt from criticism. In chapter two the study dealt with a new theory which can be applied to deal with problem of multi meanings of prepositions. it was entitled "The Central Connotation and Peripheral Connotation". This theory was applied to two - letter and three - letter prepositions successfully. As for the third chapter entitled " The Effect of Quranic Context in the Meaning of Letters " , it specified and limited with numbers the places of Quranic improvement of meaning of two - letter and three - letter prepositions. This was in two sections. the first was dedicated for revealing the meanings used and improved by the Holy Quran ; the second section was dedicated for the Quranic use of new meanings. It was found that there were five central meanings created by the Quran. There were also fourteen peripheral meanings which were not used before the revelation. This was the most important finding of the research through which the study could prove the theory presented at the outset of chapter three which is " the Quranic context is an essential influence in the improvement of the meanings of preposition ".There are other findings which have been found by the study. foremost of which is the amount of using two - letter prepositions by the Quran (48%) over what was with the Arab poets. the three - letter prepositions (42%) over what was used by the Arab poets. Most of the two - letter prepositions used in Quran were (from - min - من) and so was the case in poetry. The less widely used preposition was (what - ayاي) which indicates the answer. And in the poetry, the less used preposition was (wa وا) which was not used by the Quran. In general the Quran has used the two - letter and tree - letter prepositions widely. These are the most important findings. One can refer to the graphs at the end of the study in order to review the findings

Abstract: The current study addresses the cultural norms in the Iraqi prose poem, as it represents a trial to detect the control and prevalence of such norms in the discourse of the poem. The study also reveals the directions of norms domination in the message of the prose poems, as well as the detection of the revival of old cultural norms in new verses. The current study takes the Iraqi prose poem as field of researching as the latter represents a phenomenon that apply the same conditions of cultural criticism and norm requirements. The prose poem indeed is a puzzling and encrypted production having the potential of cultural mystification around it. The study is made of three chapters, introduction, and a conclusion, followed by a list of references and bibliography, with an abstract and a table of contents. The first chapter is entitled "The Prose Poem and Cultural Norms" which starts with introduction of two sections; the first of which is entitled "Norms (emergence, concept, and interference)", while the second section is entitled "Norms between Breach and Revival". The last section carries two directions; the first of which is "Prose Poem and Breach of Norms", and the second is "Prose Poem and Revival of Norms". This section represents theorization about the norms, their emergence, interference with culture, then their domination, and prevalence in the prose poem examined to detect its breach of cultural norms, with applied texts of that breach, then the way of norms revival thereto, the way of getting norms back into original forms, and the untold in their discourse. The second chapter is entitled "Poem of Centre and Cultural Norms" which is made of an introduction and three sections. The first of which is "Prose Poem and Domination Norm" while the second section is "Prose Poem and the Norm of Abuse" formed of two directions; the first direction is "Abuse of Others/ The Black", and the second direction is "Abuse of Others/ The Woman". Then comes the third section, which is "Prose Poem and the Norm of estrangement". The last chapter includes applied texts concerning the issue of cultural norm and its revival in the discourse of prose poem. This chapter revealed some inherited and normal ideas like (Masculinity / Class) and Death haunted the Iraqi individual. Therefore, the poetic verses come to sustain such ideas and reinforce them with the idea of old norms revival with new aesthetics. The chapter also make clear the modality of the return of center and margin in the poem texts claiming the margins equity, in time other centers are created in conflict with new margins. The third chapter is entitled "Margin Poem and Cultural Norms" also formed of an introduction and two sections; the first of which is "Kurdish Prose Poem, which in turn consists of two directions (The first is Prose Poem and Ego Norm, and the second is Prose Poem and Revenge Norm), while the second section is entitled "Femininity Prose Poem". The second section carries three directions. These directions are "Prose Poem and Subordination Norm", "Prose Poem and Centrism Norm", and "Prose Poem and Violence Norm". This chapter is also an applied one as well, as the researcher employs poetic verses implying the cultural norm, with the potentiality of cultural interpretation, encrypted texts, showing Revolutionary characteristics, implying the norm or appeasement. Thus, the chapter shows the creation of cultural norms and their inheritance in various people classes, whether centered in culture or Marginalized. As shown above, the study revealed the control of cultural norms over our discourses, their effect our vision of life, and communication with others. Later, the poem is seen to have created a new center parallelized to the center of old texts. Therefore, the Iraqi accomplishment of prose poem may have potential reactionary roots and dictatorship, as well as having the possibility of revolutionary origins and progressiveness. Hence appears the effect of cultural norm, which gets deeply rooted as more as it is thought to be retroactive or impairment. That's what is revealed through the course of this study, and tried to be shown in this thesis.

Abstract: Quranic Readings are considered of holy rank as it illustrates how to perform the pronunciation of Quranics wordings which convey the meaning of the divine message in order to deliver it to the people so they will have no plea against Allah after the Messengers. This thesis (Readings of Ahl Albait, The Infallible, Semantics Study) contributes towards the investigation and research process of the reading that represents an extension to the reading of the prophet pbuhap in performance and manner to become effective factors in delivering the divine message successfully. To meet this target, this thesis adopted the following methodInductive method; this will be through inducing the wording that the infallible Ahl Albeit used in their reading. Then working on objectively classifying this wording based on the semantics of the pronunciation that was delivered. This thesis is studied from three aspectsFirstly : the theoretical side. This is will be via the explanation of the infallible’s character and his reading features. In addition, what this thesis has revealed about the unique nature of this reading that segregate it from all other public readings; that is its focus on the illustration side in reading, and in particular, the illustration at the ideological level which represents the essence of religion and the divine message.Secondly : researching derivative and spiritual approaches of the references of the reading, considering the first lexical, reading, as a reference to explain the wording, and the second lexical as a reference to explain jurisprudential rule. All that by leveraging of : the common points and the joint connector which refers to the linguistic lexical. That is in addition to, the effort of the researcher to establish a “Semantics approach” between the reading, as a performance, and the Quran, as the theater of this performance. This thesis revealed the meeting of the pronunciation, lexical, reading and Quran on a common Indication that links them all to the deriving’s origin from that tripartite term.Thirdly : The analytical side. Wordings that Ahl Albait expressed its readings will be analysed and classified into two indicative levels, the morphological level and the grammarian level. This paper will not deal with pronunciation and lexical semantics due to the fact that Ahl Albait reading is not preoccupied with sound resources like “Alemala”, “Alaalal” or substitution or any other audio study resources. The focus of Ahl Albait is directed towards the explanation of the meaning and enlightening the receiver with guidance that Quran has come with. Their reading has not bothered with pronunciation performance but made pronunciation as mean of contact and communications between spokesperson and the receivers. As of the lexical level, their reading did not come up with wordings that are sufficient to establish a chapter on this subject. However, it may be noticed that this subject is slightly referred to in the study of morphological and grammarian levels. This paper has been presented in an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion as per the following : The Introduction, where the reason behind selecting this subject is explained. As well as highlighting the importance of the subject and its intended goals. Then winding up with a plan of study of this paper.Chapter one, is a research study on the characteristics of Ahl Albait reading at the reader’s level and at reading materials’ level. Adding a research study to explain the relation between the lexical material, the reading and Quran due to their common lexical and semantics material. This chapter is wind up with a semantic approach between Quran and the narrations to illustrate the explanatory reading.Chapter two : presents a research study on the morphological level in Ahl Albait reading within three aspects. The first is on the morphological level and its relation with the explanatory reading. The second on conjugation morphology in Ahl Albait’s (pbut) reading. The third on the derivative morphology in their reading (pbut).Chapter three : a research study on grammarian level of the reading of ahl Albair (pbut). This chapter contains foreword and two case studies. The first case study addresses (increase and decrease) in ahl Albait’s reading and its effect on the structural indication. The second case study addresses the changes in structural wording and its effect on the semantics. Conclusion : summerises the output that this paper has reached, which represent the outcome of the research path of this thesis in a subject that may be looked at as unpresented in the academic research field.Praise be to Allah alone and peace be upon Mohammed and his progeny.

Abstract: This study deals with contemporary critics and scholars ' opinions for one of the poetic arts that strongly emerged in the literature of the Amawi era , namely , ( Al NAQA'ID ). The Study aims to discover the way through which the Arabic critical blog of the modern age treats such type of heritage texts as well as reveal the shifts which hit the Modern Arabic Critical system in the first place , so - called the Age of (Revival) , the time when contextual methodologies widely prevailed and were concerned mainly with outer contexts of the social , historical and psychological conditions surrounding the text and its cultural and social medium through (textual criticism) in the age of Modernism up to Reading & construe methodologies in the Post - Modernism age. The study is based on two concepts. The first one is based on the concept of discourse as a group of texts directed into a specific critical scope. The second is stemming from the constructive concept of Arabic Poetry in the Arabic Criticism system since long ago , which is based on the fact that the lyric poem is a linguistic structure includes ( form and content). Form is meant to include the issues of language , rhythm and Poetic Imageries. On the other hand , Content represents the meanings and thoughts included in the form. Hence , the researcher went ahead in dismantling this discourse into two sides. The first one contained the thematic issues and phenomena. The other side is the artistic issues and phenomena. In terms of Arabic critical methodologies , they represented the central crystal with which the discourse was concerned. It is indeed a methodological discourse based on methodical bases as specified by Modern Western methodologies , taking in consideration cultural Arabic particularity. The most important outcome of this research is the confirmation that The Modern Arabic Critical Discourse compared with Al NAQA'ID was coinciding with critical shifts that touched the modern Arabic discourse structure in general and they furthermore approved the dominance of thematic sides in the heritage text at the expense of artistic ones. Moreover , they manifested the strong presence of the historical and social methodology with a relative absence of the psychological one in terms of themes. Concerning artistic sides , the researcher noticed the intensive care that Arabic critics and scholars lavished so as to disclose the recognized artistic structure of Al NAQA'ID text through their works of disclosing the linguistic nature therein and the denotation of metaphor element in its structure. I also disclosed their endeavors in studying the rhythmical level , poetic imagery , as well as the critics ' interest in studying the involvement of the thematic phenomena such as Irony phenomenon , meaning exploration , expatriation , cultural involvement. Moreover , involving artistic phenomena such as bi - antagonism , argumentation and repetition. Furthermore , The research showed the critics ' agreement over the emptiness of such art from organic unity which was replaced by line unity on the poets part thereof equal to the heritage texts in Old Arabic Poetry.

Abstract: Praise to God, the creator of the universe and his messenger, Muhammed the last of prophets and missionary, and on his sacred, kind household and fellowmen and those who followed him graciously and kindly till the Judgement Day and thereafter.... The expression occupies or takes over a prominent outstanding position or status in man's intellectual life, it is key or code that man can reach science, as mentioned by theancients. Through the expression the recipient understands and realizes the gateway of this science from its symbols that within the expressions, the vague, mysterious, equivocal points or issues become obvious in any science, all oblique and unclear issues are dissolved. The syntactical expression, as any liguisticexpression, formulates part of total, complementary structure, subject as other expressions subject to special or particularusage for specialized class or group inside the science that contains it that it becomes to have features drived from the environment that lives in, grows up and thrives. It is an accurate subject that needs a thorough reasearching, this makes different writings deal with the expression in different or various frames. Our subject attemptsto deal with thesemantic side of the expressions. The idea of study entitled "The meaning of the Syntactical Expression at Al - kufiee's in the Light of the Modern Studies" concentrates on a general study to the meaning of the syntactical expression, and the choice of the application of Al - Kufiee's syntactical expression was intentional and deliberate because the subject of syntacti - cal meaning needs a reconsedration in the subject so as the bases that are subsumed under the syntactical expressions be delimitied. As it is usual, Al - Kufiee's syntactical expression like a healthy suitable environment for such a study since it is subsumed under a limited schooling system included methodoligical, intellectual orientations or directions which characterizes this study. Despite this soecification or limitation there has been a give and take state with Al - Basra's syntactical expression owing to its priority and pecedence because there are notion and opinions stating that the rise or origin was at the same time and from scholars who were contemperaries to the establishment of Al - Basra's syntax. This was a reason for electing and choosing such a study because many of the meaning's features apply to it according to the methodo - logy of studying the expression. The study necessitates a descriptive, theoretical, and applicational methodology in expression, the reseracher tries to make use of what has been tackled in the former studies of Al - Kufiee's syntactical expression and applies at the same time what the study has arrived at in the field of researching that in a numerous titles have been mentioned derived from the actual applicational study of the expression. The relied on methodolgy started from what really exists and not from what is assumed to exist. This necessitates modifying or changing the methodology for more than once and in lieu of the subject in question. The sources and refrences connected with my study, either those concerned with the syntactical expressions in general or with Al - Kufiee's expression in particular had their effect in paving the way towards reasoning and argumentation and aiding me to delimit the scope of my study and its objective domain or field. The sources or refere - nces I depended on most in allocating the applicational positions of Al - Kufi's syntactic expression are the following references : (The Meanings of the Qura'n) by Ali - Bin Hamza Al - Kisaae (189H), (The meanings of the Qura'n) by Yahyia Bin Ziyad Al - Ferra (207H), (The Concise Syntax) by Ibin Sa'adaan Al - Kufi (231H), (Logic Reformation), by Jacob Ibn Isaac bin Al - Sukeit (244H) , (Thalab's councils) by Ahmed bin Yahyia Thalab (291H), (The Explication of Pauses and beginning), (The Explanation of the long Seven poems), (masculine and feminine) by Muhammad bin Al - Qassim Al - Anbari (328H) in addition to other traditional sources which contributed to stand on Al - Kufi's syntacti - cal expression and to make a comparison between him and Al - Basra's Syntactical expressio. As for the refrences that I greatly benefitted from in my study, these inclu - ded studies that concerned with the Syntactical expression in general and with Al - Kufi's in particular or with both schools like : (Kufa School and its methodology in studying language and its methodology in studying language and syntax) by doctor Mehdi Al - Makhzoumi, (The syntactical schools) by doctor Khadega Al - Hadithi, (Abu Zakarya Al - Faraa and his creed in Language and syntax) by doctor Ahmed Mekki Al - Ansari, (The Syntactical expression, its rise, development till late third century A.H) by doctor Awadth Hamed Al - Kouzi), (The syntactical expression and the origin of meaning) by doctor Riyadh Othman, (The Encyclopedia of the Syntactical) by doctor Yokhana Mirza Al - khamis, and many other studiesd that eased the difficulty of the Study and helped in directing some Kufi's syntactical expressions to the suitable place, all these difficulties were overcome with the aid of God and hid grace. The title of the thesis obliged me to have a look at some academic theses and disseratations entitled (The Syntactic Expression). All these studies tried to remedy and treat the stablizied syntactical expression at a particular syntactical personality or numerous ones. The land marks of one thorough syntactical expression cannot be clarified in the light of one personality because the world might be electric in opting its expressions in accordance with its intellectual directions which differ or vary according to individuals. This may not endow a fixed picture or vie for the subject if we followed the same means or method of researching.

Abstract: Science of sounds is regarded as one of those sciences that the study of which is significantly developed after is witnessed a long period of stagnation. This science has become to represent the developed manifestation of Modern Linguistics more than any other branch thereof. This development is reflected through it various methodologies of research, different devices and advanced equipment's that assisted in the field of linguistic sounds. Orientalist's endeavors have been directed to study Arabic language at all phonetic, morphological, grammatical and denotative levels. Using Arabic language by orientalists as a means to understand the Hebrew of Torah in the 16th century and the beginning of 17th century helped to elevate Arabic language to move ahead. In the 17th and 18th centuries, European Linguists were concerned with the language international structure hierarchically and this in fact influenced their orientations to study Arabic and some other Semitic languages such as Hebrew. They focused on the study of those two languages which belong to the ancient centuries. There was a drastic development in the field of linguistic studies in Europe in the 17th century, specifically in the field of Indo - European languages when Franz Bob made a comparison among the morphological systems of verbs in Sanskrit, Persian, Germanic and Greek languages. Accordingly ,this has made its own influence in the context of Semitic Languages Study by Orientalists especially after the discovery of many Assyrian.Aramaic and old Southern Arabic transcripts. This discovery widened the historical depth of comparison. Researchers concerned with the study of standard language by itself and they considered accents branching from the standard language as erroneous types but in the 19th century, after scientists discovered that rural accents contain the forms of structure in the standard language. Orientalists spent massive efforts to record the various accents of Arabic language. The initiative of studying Arabic sounds appeared in 19th century by some of the Western and Orientalists.Research has been widely developed in the respect alongside with the development of life and various types of science. Orientalists ,researches of Arabic sounds were brought up varied in compliance with the variation of both ,their studies on one hand and methodologies of research adopted by them in these studies on the other. Science of sounds is a branch of linguistic, and it is divided into two branches.First, Phonetics which deals with the linguistic sounds in isolation of the context. Second, Phonology which deals with sounds when forming speech sequence, phonetic rules governing such context and various linguistic phenomena such substitution , Diphthong , Al Emalah (pending) , Kl Tafkheem (Amplification ), Glotallization and other phonological issues. In the light of translated books , the research sought to introduce the methodologies adopted by Orientalists in studying the sounds of Arabic language. They involved Modern Linguistic Approaches in their study : - Historical approach - Comparative Historical Approach - Descriptive Approach - The Approach of linguistic Geography which is regarded as one of the applied linguistic approaches. The researcher noticed that Orientalists disagree over the number of the places of articulation.Brokelman arranged them into five places of articulations while Kanito did so into nine ones, flish in six ones.Billa , into eleven ones and he joined the features with the articulations. Moskati did so into seven places of articulation. Furthermore, Orientalists disagree over the arrangement of some places of sounds articulation that some of the arrange such places of articulation initially while others delay them compared to that arrangement adopted by Arabs such as(? ), and (?).Some Orientalists state that these articulations of( Arabic Kaf), that is , they are velar but others regard them as being pharyngeal articulated from(?) , and (?). Moreover, Orientalists disagree over the description of some places of articulation such as the articulation of (Arabic lam sound) that some of them regarded it as being lingual.Others regarded it as a palatal sound , others regarded it side - dental. Orientalists conducted deep researchers to study the sounds of Arabic Language and they read the books of early grammarians and the books of readings. They promoted wide range research concerning phonetic phenomena. Despite their being significantly accurate in describing the phonetic phenomenon, yet they wouldn't pay enough attention to some phenomena that they didn't explain thereof clearly enough nor they analyze such phenomenon sufficiently such as Emalat (bending) of (Ha'a), Al waqf and glottalization phenomenon. They mentioned only specific sides of such phenomena. Some Orientalists such as Kanito and Brajbishrasar cited Quran verses during their research to substitute some of language sounds or make them diphthong. Kantino was not precise in translating some of verses or the numbers thereof. Irrespective of the reason that motivate Orientalists to study Arabic language so their studies were highly helpful and even though the phonetic research was emerged out of the works of the works of Arabic linguists long ago yet, its development is accomplished at present by Orientalists.

Abstract: Modern studies of rhetorics are interested in persuasion as one of the objectives in realistic prosodic discourse that involves displaying personal thoughts and ideas by employing certain technique to contribute to persuading the addressee of the discourse directed to him.Aristotle was the first who talked about persuasion and described in details the techniques and stages in prosodic discourse in his book ‘Oratory ’. Thus, the researcher preferred this book to be the main source and guide in our study of the techniques of persuasion in essays of Ghazi Abd Al - Rahman Al - Qusaibi, which were gathered from newspaper a journals and edited in a book.A question might be raised about the validity of studying such essays that belong to an independent genre with its own characteristics and aims. The answer is that the two genres ( essay and oratory) are similar in type. Both of them are realistic prosodic discourses and thus can be built by the same tools of persuasion. On the other hand, Aristotle began his work in this book by classifying oratory into three types : argumentative, consultative and proving. He assigned specific characteristics for each type as we will mention in details later. The researcher found an artistic and objective similarity between consultative oratory and essay specially in the aims behind using them.Additionally, Greek oratory at that time, in addition to drama, was a well - known and common tool of communication with people to convey thoughts, ideas, suggestions, and reforms. With time, techniques of communication developed and the press emerged and thus essay becomes one of the genres that can achieve the same aim intended by oratory. Furthermore, topics and subjects of ancient and modern Arabic and western rhetorics were influenced by the Greek rhetorics and ideas of Aristotle. Those subjects and ideas were not assigned to be conveyed in a certain specific genre. Rather, they were conveyed both as prose or poetry and not in a specific genre. All the reasons mentioned above led us to study rhetorics of persuasion and the techniques it utilizes in essay writing in light of the techniques that were set as bases for oratory. Our main source in this study is Aristotle’s ‘Oratory’, translated from Greek and introduced by Dr. Abd Al - Rahman Badawi and published by the House of Public Cultural Affairs in the Journal of Afaq Arabbia, Baghdad, **edition. The researcher adhered to Aristotlian principles in persuasion. Accordingly, the study is divided into an introduction and three chapters. The introduction highlights three points. The first point is abaut rhelorics in language and terminology and its status and development for the Greeks and its relation to persuation. The secand is persuasion in language and terminology, persuasion in verbal communication, introducing the idea of persuasion by Aristotle and stages and participants of persuasion. The third point tackles the essay and its types.Chapter one ‘ Source of the Proofs’ starts with preliminaries in which we show what it is meant by the source of the proofs and Aristotle’s opinion of them. The chapter includes three sections; a section for each source. The first section is about the speaker ( the orator) and his impact on persuasion and his scientificity and ethics that help him achieve persuasion. Section two sheds light on the speech of the orator and what participants and proofs it should contain to contribute to achieving persuasion. Section three talks about the listener (the addressee) and what should be the effect on him so as to persuade him of what is said.Chapter two ‘ The Style’ starts with a long section of preliminaries because of the much details about Aristotle’s style. The chapter includes three sections. Section one is about the linguistic style that contribute to achieving persuasion whereas section two is about the rhetorical styles as represented in the rhetorical images. Section three tackles the other styles including those mentioned by Aristotle i.e. narration, saracism and rhyme as techniques that support towards persuasion. In the preliminaries of chapter three ‘Sequence of the Discours’, the researcher talks about the parts of speech of Aristotle and the method that should be followed to classify them. In section one of the chapter, the researcher discusses the introduction and its types in essays of Ghazi Al - Qusaibi : section two discusses the intext and section three is about the conclusions. The Study arrived at some conclusions concerning the most important techniques that Ghazi Al - Qusaibi used to persuade his readers about the thoughts, ideas that he wrote to them and that might developed the society culturally, politically, and economically. Definitely, the researcher faced some difficulties; the most complicated of them is that the text of the book of oratory itself is translated and not the origin. The style is sophisticated and some of the expressions are ambigious; its terms are different from those known in books of Arabic rhetorics and in modern rhetorical studies. This difference can be obviously seen in the illustrative examples put by Aristotle for every term. The expressions were very abbreviated and shortened especially those when Aristotle talked about ethics of the speaker and how they could be reflected in his speech. Consequently, the researcher depended on books of modern linguistic and rhetorical studies that are concerned with rhetorics of discourse and pragmatics in language

Abstract: In Iinguistics , a new branch has recentIy emerged , i.e. ' Text Linguistics ' which gives fuII consideration to texts and the way in which these texts hang together as cohesive texts , performing various purposes in different ways. As such , the topic of text Iinguistics in generaI and grammaticaI cohesino in particuIar has become an area of interest of many Iinguists. One of the many reasons for seIecting this topic is to obtain more KnowIedge in this area , i.e. ' grammaticaI cohesion ' aIong with its different schooIs of thought , hoping to appIy it to Quranic texts in an attempt to anaIyze it textuaIIy. The significance of this study Iies in : 1)studying Quranic texts by adopting a text Iinguistics - based approach focusing on cohesion in generaI and grammaticaI cohesion in particuIar. 2) utiIizing both modern Iinguistic terminoIogy and traditionaI terminoIogy.3) focusing on ' cohesion ' as an approach to studying and anaIyzing the seven Iong chapters of Quran as sampIe of the study. The study fuIIs in to five chapters ( two chapters deaI with the defining matters and the theoreticaI part of the study and three chapters deaI with the practicaI part of the study )preceded by an introduction and foIIowed by concIusions and Iist of references. In the introduction , issues such as the reasons behind seIecting the topic , its significance and methodoIogy adopted are introduced. Chapter one, for its part , deaIs with the text and its grammar , and the difference between the sentence grammar and text grammar. Chapter two titIed ' Text Iinguistics and Cohesion ' focuses on the different opinions proposed by various schoIars ( be they oId or modern ) , cohesion and its types as weII as the schoIars ' views on cohesion and its importance in discourse anaIysis. WhiIe chapters three deaIs with grammaticaI cohesion ,such as reference , eIIipsis, substitution and conjunction and chapter four focuses on IexicaI cohesion , such as reiteration , coIIocation and its types , chapter five , for its part , deaIs with the infIuence of context.text recipient and occasion on text cohesion. Chapter six , for its part, speIIs out the main concIusions that the researcher has drawn : 1)AIthough it is not easy to define what " text" exactIy mean, any text shouId be cohesive.2) Cohesion is the main eIement in anaIyzing any text and thus distinguishing a text from just a group of Iinguistic eIements.3) Some schoIars , such as HaIIiday and Hasan did not mention 'reIative pronouns ' as cohesive devices , but the researcher and some other schoIars have identify them as cohesive devices.4) There is no harm to use modern Iinguistic ideas to study Quarnic texts as Iong as there is no contradiction them and our reIigion

Abstract: Often critical studies have proven in the field to talk to the old narrative and modern literary criticism and many are interested in theorizing to the beginnings of writing fiction in Iraq, Fna cash in history more than the present moment the Iraqi novel, and because the desire researcher was paid long ago to try to fight in the new Iraqi novelist experience and an update of the project, which began studying the master narrative, it has been proposed to subject the supervisor Prof. Dr. Luay Hamza Abbas, who crystallized the idea of the project is scientifically formulated entitled academic form in which it now.Counted researcher different samples through monitoring and followed the Iraqi novel from 2001 until 2015 have been addressed in the reading and analysis of the many novels that dealt with theme of communication and treated him, however, he selected a number of novels that thinks it meets the nature of the new clerical experience and grant writing feature distinctive new featuresIt would have been confronted by the researcher of the difficulties is the novelty of the topic you say who wrote it and the desire of the researcher also using modern sources cover the size of the creative space that dealt with samples of this research, but surmounted many difficulties in this area after traveling to Cairo and friction with the sources of digital literature.Researcher has not been adopted in this thesis on a specific approach vented stringent monetary approaches that may restrict the study and not to unnamed flexibility that may make or prematurely truncated work, so relied on the open reading theories on more than one approach as imposed by the nature of the study for each chapter. Abstract: This study entitled “Curricular Interference in Poetic Text Analysis Modalities - Semiotics as a model” examines one of the most controversial and problematic contemporary criticism curricula amongst modern criticism studies. Semiotics at its theoretical form is an old existing science which was emerged from the womb of knowledge theory; hence it contributed to philosophy, logic, mathematics, human and social sciences. Its critical importance lies by the fact that it stands at the border between human and social sciences; as well as its integration of the direction that accredited linguistic aspect (linguistics) and the direction of philosophical aspect that accredited the new phenomenology. The value of this critical study rises as it monitors the shifts of knowledge and intellect arguments of this approach, their transfer into the field of applied methodology, the way Arabic critical studies dealt with such shifts, the nature of receiving such mechanisms by Arab critics, and the methods of applying and representing them in Arabic poetic texts. This thesis is composed of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter - made of two sections - deals with the intellectual and philosophical fundamentals of semiotics, and examines their origins and approaches as presented by semiotics pioneers; American Philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce and Swiss Linguist Ferdinand de Saussure. In the first section of the chapter, we focus on the image of semiotics in ancient Greek philosophy, as well as different other philosophies followed. In addition, we examine deeply the way Arab and western critics had dealt with the nature of that image. In the second section of the first chapter, we review in details the hypotheses of Peirce’s and Saussure’s theories analyzing their philosophical and intellectual arguments; as well as explaining relevant attitudes of Arab and western critics. The first section of the second chapter examines semiotics in terms of its developed theoretical boundaries and its applied methodological image. Also, we detail the period that followed the foundation stage, and account for modern semiotics approaches that we present by the approaches of semantics, communication and culture. Then we scope the light on literature semiotics as being the theoretical and applied image of general semiotics. In the second section of this chapter, we review the mechanisms of applied semiotics, the ways of Arab and western critics’ interaction with that mechanisms, how they were put into application, and the reasons that lead to curricular interference amongst applied models. As for the third chapter, it deals with Arabic applied models as we examine the phenomenon of curricular interference within those models following the criticism - of - criticism mechanism. In conclusion, the study was culminated with a series of findings reached through our research

Abstract: Said Jaafar Al - Hilly is considered as one of the alawis Iraqi poets whose poetry is characterized by its richness at the artistic and semantic levels. His poems also shed light on the political and social reality with a dominant alawian sense. Thus, it is essential to investigate about these aspects with close inspection. This poet was not paid any considerable attention concerning his verse only in scattered articles and papers. Even in modern literary works, there are little references to his art, further, these references do not contribute in showing his artistic and aesthetic writings in verse that may put him in competition with other great poets of his time. This study mainly focuses on the rhetorical perspectives in his poems in an attempt to show the deep meaning of his lexical and syntactic choices in addition to his manipulation of cadence and poetic structure as well as imagery. The current study consists of a preliminary, three chapters and a conclusion. In the preliminary, rhetorical branches are introduced and explained and how these branches are shown to have a role in exposing the poet's artistic writings. This chapter also includes the poet's biography and the themes that he addressed in his verse. Chapter one is attributed to inspecting the cadence level in his poetry. It comprises three sections. Section one is concerned with alliteration. Section two is devoted to explaining repetition and its types and effects in relation to cadence. Section three comes under the title " Other Rhetorical Aspects" that contribute to make rhythmical patterns prominent. Chapter two is essentially devoted to the structural level of his poetry. It comprises three sections. The first one, which is entitled "Recantation in Structure", deals with things such as foregrounding and back - grounding, ellipsis. Section two is entitled "Recantation in the reporting style", whereas, the third section is concerned with the recantation of requesting style such as questions and command. Chapter three deals with the descriptive level of his poetry and it is compose of two sections. The first one is concerned with the study of images according to their artistic frame. Section two pays attention to the size of these images in that it focused on the single and simple images as well as the compound and the total images. This classification comes as a result of what is found in his poems in an endeavor to simplify their study. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude for the dean of the college of Education for Human science, Dr Hussein and for the two assistants as well as for the head of the Arabic department. Also, I would thank my supervisor for his great efforts in showing me the right way of how to accomplish this work.

Abstract: Actually, researchers give a great concern to the field of Text Investigation. Therefore, numerous articles and books come into existence about this considerable field of study. Such contributions identify its characteristics as well as initiate its rules and roots by which investigators attempt to set a remarkable touch that can take role in the characterization of ancient Arabic heritage. However, text investigators should have a great amount of knowledge about approaches of scientific investigation. Their task demands to be patient via working with manuscripts, to be professional about collecting lost poetry of a certain poet. This is so because the ultimate end of investigation is to follow accuracy and objectivity to reflect the poet's book or collection of poems as the poet intends.Concerning this area of investigation, a variety of researchers do their best to study old - fashioned texts. Throughout their investigations, they introduce their attempts as well as sufferings in this field. Their efforts reveal different capacities and distinctive scientific abilities. As a result of this serious work in the field, an apparent role has been observed upon the difference among their approaches of investigation although they agree on introducing texts in the correct way according to the scientific rules with a high degree of correctness and documentation. Their work follows a number of acceptable scientific and procedural bases. As a practical area of these investigations is those periodicals whose specialization is to re - exist the Arabic heritage such as the journal of Al - Mawrid. This journal is a quarterly old - fashioned and it is one of the most important periodicals in Iraq particularly and in the Arabic homeland in general. It is published by the ministry of Culture and Arts - Dar Al - Jahdh. The 1970s and its subsequent years represent its heyday since this period witnesses a great concern of investigations and literary manuscripts. All these achievements led to its publication in 1971. Due to the availability of the textual data of literary investigations in this decade, this dissertation comes entitled "The Approaches of Investigating Literary Texts in the Journal of Al - Mawrid in the decade of Seventies : an Analytical Study".This work involves an introduction, three chapters and conclusions. Accordingly, the introduction gives a preliminary overview about the journal under study including its foundation and historical development in the 1970s. As regards the chapters, the first two deal with the approaches of literary investigations of books and collections of poems which are investigated depending on handwriting manuscripts or printed manuscripts (the second novel). Chapter Three concerns the approaches of criticizing literary investigation in the journal of Al - Mawrid in the 1970s. The study has come with some conclusions. It reveals the amount of the investigated literary heritage including books and collections of poems in the 1970s by this journal. In additions, it shows the difference among investigators' approaches. One group follows the methodological rules of scientific investigation whereas another one ignores such rules through their investigations. Such ignorance is represented by lacking the premises of investigation, neglecting the set - up of the investigated text, the author's name, the title of the book, the identification of the book, documenting well - known scholars, quranic verses, poetic quotations, formatting lists of references and printing reproduction. Finally, the researcher does not claim perfection of this study which is indeed the result of hard work. Thus, in case it reaches the desired end, it is that duty to which Allah conducts me. Therefore, I have no superiority. On the other hand, wherever there is some weaknesses throughout this work, it is of course because of human beings' imperfection. What I do not regret on is that I have followed thinking, purified my intent, looked for truth and reliability. Hence, I hope to obtain retribution as a reward ofthese efforts. Almighty Allah I request to accept my good deeds since he is the Omnipotent.

Abstract: This is a study of the linguistic efforts of one of the most significant modern figures in the field of the science of origins and sources of Fiqh;namely, Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Al - Sadr It investigates his works on Sources of Fiqh ,especially his book. Lessons in Science of Sources as well as his investigation of External studies which one of his students, Sayyid Muhmood Al - Hashimi published under the title, Papers in Science of Sources A descriptive approach has been followed here to trace back the linguistic phenomenon on the part of the linguists on the one hand. On the other hand the very phenomenon of language is investigated as part of the work of the scholars of Sources. Finally, this investigation covers the point of view held by al - Sadr to trace the methods followed by such scholars and the their views so as to anchor at the recognition of the seriousness and mastery Al - Sadr practices while discussing and evaluating earlier linguistic view points. As far as the section on the thought and viewpoints of Sayyid Al - Sadr ,is concerned it analyzes these viewpoints into their main components and supporting ideas to pinpoint the sources from which AL - Sadr has drawn his own opinion when developing his view points here and there Then all that is of some relevance to what Al - Sadr suggests whether held by those pioneer linguists preceding or succeeding him has to be matched to arrive at the originality and novelty of his very suggestion or opinion By so doing , the researcher aims at showing the application and value of Al - Sadr ‘s contribution to language and interpretation of certain aspects of the very phenomenon of language. To outline the thesis, one may say that this research work falls into two parts preceded by an introduction on Al - Sadr biography including the features of his linguistic approach. Again, each of these two parts subdivides into two chapters. The thesis ends with some relevant results. Part I is entitled Sound and Meaning. The first chapter of the first part is on the source of meaning This chapter falls into three sections.Chapter Two carries the title of A Variety of Semantic Patterns. This chapter divides into two sections : Factual and Figurative language and Equivalence and Association. Part II is given the title, Letters and Sentences. Chapter One is on letters and it is divided into two sections. On the other hand, Chapter Two is has got the title of Sentences. This is also subdivides into two sections. The first and most important result of the present research work is the description of the theory developed by Al - Sadr. This theory can be added to the two traditional theories of sources of language. In the light of his new linguistic theory, Al - Sadr explains the origin of language and how sound is associated with meaning in the field of semantics. Al - Sadr's novel theory is called “Approved Association”. In this study of Al - Sadr's theory, the researcher has done his best to shed the light on the very linguistic theory under investigation discussing its basic components as well as its knowledge bases and linguistic dimensions within the frame of modern linguistics. Thus, this is a comparative study that seeks the application of such a linguistic theory to the significant interpretation of the initiation of meaning or semantics emphasizing the first connection between word and word meaning. Furthermore, among the other results of this study is the exposition of the various view points held by Al - Sadr. These views cover matters such as reality and fiction, association and equivalence, function words and their meanings, the use of prepositions as well as types of sentences. Al - Sadr's views have dealt with almost all aspects of language; starting with the word and ending with the whole sentence. Al - Sadr's efforts reflect this unique pioneer's own brilliance and innovation.. It is to this man, one may safely relate the invaluable innovation.that can never be matched in linguistics.

Abstract: The present study, which is entitled "Rhetorical Portrayal in Qur'anic Cosmic Scenes : A Study in Patterns and Functions", is in the core of the Glorious Quran studies as it is full of a great number of cosmic verses that are counted by researchers to mount up to sixth of its verses. These verses are dealing with various cosmic elements. When the Holy Quran tackles the (cosmic scene), it deals with it for the sake of accomplishing a variety of functions; ranging from those indicating divinity, an evidence of resurrection, a reminder to humans of Allah's blessings for them, or an identification of the relation of the universe in all its minute details to Allah the Creator. Rhetorical portrayal is regarded on of the phenomena of expression in literary language. The text of the Holy Quran is the apex of such texts. It is characterized by the clear and distinct presence of the rhetorical portrait inside of it along with its distinguished tackling of rhetorical patterns (simile, metaphor and metonymy) in the production of portrait. Of the most significant previous literature is a thesis entitled "The Concluding Sentence in the Qur'anic Cosmic and Humanistic Verses : A Stylistic Study" by Noor H. Mohammed that aimed at dealing with the concluding sentence in the cosmic and humanistic verses with no due reference to the rhetorical portrait except within the scope of her study method. The thesis comprises a preface and four chapters. The preface concentrates on the trilogy of image, imagination and the Qur'anic cosmic scene so as to uncover the concept of image and its relation to imagination among ancient and modern writers. Afterwards, the study moves on from the preface to the practical side. Therefore, the first chapter entitled "Simile in the Cosmic Scenes System" is subdivided into five sections. The first of them is the two sides sense image, the second is the intermingled sense image, the third is the image in the implicit simile, and the fourth is the effectivity of representative image, while the fifth section is the employment of transformational devices in simile. Chapter two focuses on the "Metaphor in the Cosmic Scenes System". It is split into four sections; the first is the employment of personification in the cosmic scenes system, the second is inserting the metaphorical portrait in the cosmic scenes system, thirdly is modes of embodiment in the cosmic scenes system, and the last is the antithesis binaries. The third chapter is entitled "The Mental & Hypallage Trope in Cosmic Scenes System". The researcher favored studying these two types in a separate chapter because they are dangling between metaphor and metonymy as well as due to the huge portrayal energy innate in them that opens forth to both types with regard to their various connotations and relations. I preferred to put this chapter in two sections due to the nature of the analytical, inductive method which is close to descriptive approach of the study; the first is the mental pattern in the scenic system, and the second is the Hypallage pattern in the cosmic scenes system. Chapter four is allocated to the study of "Metonymy in the Cosmic Scenes System". It lies in five sections; the first is the employment of the human and his/her related matters in the cosmic scene, the second is the use of plant and its related issues in the cosmic scene, the third is the usage of time and its related matters in the cosmic scene, and the fourth deals with the metonymy of sighted and chilly cosmic phenomena in the cosmic scene, while the last tackles color implementation in the form of metonymy image. The most significant conclusions perceived from the study are : 1. The letter (Kaaf) comes with the word (mithl/ like) to assure the state of intermingling between the two ingredients of simile.2. The researcher has founded that the rhetorical pattern exceeds the limits of portraying the form into abstract and imaginative worlds, and that the elements forming the cosmic scene participated in the eccentricity of portrait and the activation of its poeticity. 3. Cosmic scenes are mostly count on visual images that are related to natural elements, especially plants. They might address readers' eye to associate more than one human sense with the aim of accomplishing many functions, most importantly, purgation

Abstract: There is a huge critical movement around the works of Fuad Al Tikirli that can be traced back to the mid - fifties of the past century. This is because of the unique characteristics of Al Takarli's works that are marked by intellectual attitudes of development, renewing, and modernism towards writing fiction. Al Tikirli has an exclusive touch that can be noticed by his stories, novels, plays, and articles. This exclusivity is marked by the various literary genres with the accuracy and incredibility of the style at the same time. Al Tikirli has his special style that distinguishes him from other Iraqi writers of his age. Accordingly, critics had followed his writings from his first short story. Nihad Tikirli is regarded as the first critic who reviewed his successful story "Al Uioun Al Khudhr" (The Green Eyes). Before that, many critics tried to analyze his experience according to their intellectual and academic attitudes towards stories and novels like Dr. Ali Jawad Tahir, Dr. Abdulilaah Ahmed, Dr. Umar Talib, Dr. Muhsin Al Mousawi, Dr. Shuja' Al Ani, and the critics : Fadhil Thamir, Yaseen Naseer, and Basim Abdulhameed Hamoudi. The Tikirlian Experience was a subject of many critical studies. All of which tried to find an approach to describe its nature with different procedural devices. This gave his works a critical richness especially in the intellectual fundamentals and the various vision procedural devices. What encouraged the variety of critical approaches of the narrative experience of Al Tikirl is his humanitarian attitude, artistic beauty, and the definite ideological message. His experience is open yet comprehensive with various attitudes, which is a subject of many interpretations. The most important reason behind conducting this study is the variety of critical topics about Tikirli's fictional experience as one of the leading figures of fiction and novel in Iraq as well as the genuine, deep, and continuously developed experience. Al Tikirli was able to take a prestigious status among the Iraqi and Arab novelists. The strong interest in narrative literature participated in choosing this study. It is well known that Fuad Al Tikirli wrote in various literary genres like story, novel, drama, essay, translation, and diaries, but this study will be devoted to narrative literature. Other genres, especially drama, will be left for two reasons. First, those plays did not reach the desired level. They were sole dialogs in which he aimed at trying to write in other genre near to his type. Secondly, the rarity of critical studies that dealt with his plays. The researcher found about two or three essays on his plays, which means that it is regarded as a secondary to his first interest, i.e., stories and novels. Some of the few essays that were concerned with dramatic criticism are "Fuad Al Tikirli : the Dramatist" by Dr. Dhia Khudhayir which was published in the journal Aqlam 3 (1989). The second essay was entitled "The Structure of Dialogue Scenes in the Plays of Fuad Al Tikirli" by the critic Abid Ali Hassan that was published in his book Drama and Application and republished in the journal Emdha 5,6 (2014). The third essay was written by the researcher Mudhafar Salim Shakir and entitled "The Foreign Shadows in the Plays of Fuad Al Tikirli" which was published in Emdha (ibid). The methodology of the study will be based on the textual analytical approach that utilizes the narrative techniques and their aesthetic achievements and the two main narrative streams : traditional novel and Formal Structural Narrative that dealt with the relations between narrative units in a literary work. The study chapters were based on the elements and components of narration as well as the modern techniques of Fuad Al Tikirli's works. The study consisted of four chapters as well as an introduction, a conclusion, a bibliography, and an abstract in English. The introduction contained two aspects. The first one was concerned with Al Tikirli's biography, his narrative innovation and its sources, and his characteristics according to critics and researchers. The second aspect was an introduction to the most important modern narrative elements and techniques contained in the study. The first chapter studied the components of narrative discourse in the works of Fuad Al Tikirli. It is the longest chapter of the study and contained many sections like style, dialogue, and the narrative setting represented by time, place and characters. All those elements participated in the development of his narrative works through the role played by each element in forming and organizing the structure. Style is regarded as the front of the writers work. Dialogue reveals the extent of the writer's attention to people interaction, as well as the monologue that reveals the inner worlds. Narrative setting (time and place) has a great effect on preparing the circumstances to embrace the characters and affect their role in the novel. Characters represent the main factor in narration. Main and secondary characters are the reason behind the existence of the novel. The second chapter contained the components of narrative discourse that is almost similar to the first chapter except with the analysis and scripts. The third chapter entitled "Criticizing Psychological Structure". It was divided into preliminaries and two sections. The preliminaries dealt with an introduction to psychological approach theory and its way of analyzing literary text according to a comprehensive social vision. It showed the relation between fiction and society and the effect of each one on the other in a controversial relation. The first section discussed the issues of sexuality, woman, and adultery in the works of Fuad Al Tikirli. It also discussed the attitude of critics towards this vital and important issue as an advanced topic in this type of literature. The second section was devoted to study the character of the cultivated in his novels and the critics' explanation of the cultivated psychological and financial problems. The fourth chapter contained the criticism of formal structure. Critics have structurally analyzed the scripts Al Tikirli in a punctual and subjective way in building organized relation between narration techniques. This chapter was divided into preliminaries and three sections. The preliminaries were devoted to investigate the formal structural method and its most important techniques. The first section studied the movement forward and backward in narration time. The second section dealt with narrative novel or writer's perspective towards certain topic. The third section contained the subject of textuality of multiple texts to form a new meaningful text. The researcher would like to express his deepest thank to Assistant Professor Saeed Abdulridha Kamees Al Tamimi Ph. D., the study supervisor, for his valuable observations and his dedication towards the perfection of this study. The researcher also extents his gratitude to the professors of the Department of Arabic Language, especially, Dr. Mohammad Abdulrasoul Salman - the dead of the Department of Arabic Language, as well as Professor Fadhil Aboud Al Tamimi, Professor Ayah Abdulwadoud Al Hamdani, Professor Salah Mahdi Al Zubeidi, and Assistant Professor Ali Mutib Jasim. The researcher also thanks the public libraries for their provision of sources and references namely : the higher study library - College of Arts - University of Baghdad, the central library - University of Baghdad, the central library - Mustansiria University, The National Library - The House of Books and Documents, and the central library in Diyala Province. Finally the researcher expresses his deepest gratitude to the debate committee for their efforts in studying and identifying the pitfalls of the study.

Abstract: يجترح هذا البحث مصطحا مهما من المصطلحات الحجاجية الا وهو(التناص الحجاجي) الذي يعنى بالخطاب والتعالقات النصية في خطب عصر صدر الاسلام والعصر الاموي، واثر هذه التعالقات النصية في حجية هذا الخطاب، فالعلاقات النصية التي تقيمها الخطابات تمتد الى ثقافة مختزن | The current research suggests a significant term which is one of the argumental terms that is the arguemental style. It tackles speech act and relative texts in the speeches of beginning of Islam and the Umayyad era and the effect of these relative texts in the argument of this speech act. The relative texts that are evaluated by orations extend to a stored culture in the collective memory which are inflected in departures and changes that are covered always with a modern garnet. This linguistic event is revived through precipitated procedures in the new oration. The text here is a web of linguistic, constructional, and ideological data, all cooperate to form speech acts. After completion, it practiced a great influence so as to produce other texts, so, the text depends on renewal according to its readability and on quantity according to its supplying privacy. The incoming text comes loaded with argumental references charges with pragmatic productive features to penetrate with the current text and melt in its essence, so the incoming text appears in various levels : the explicit and the implicit. This pragmatic fertilization results in new text with a directed argumental dimension. The pragmatic interaction which is established between the incoming text and the current text cannot be of a single path instead it goes towards the giving and taking reference; it grants the incoming a new reference as it grants an argument power to the current text with all its pragmatic referential roots within its environment. So, the coming text may grants old text new interpretation or show them with a new garment that was hidden before. They could not be seen before so long as the style process, that achieves great deeds that practice argumental power which guide the path of speech act.The research results in several argumental style that the orator adopted in the beginning of Islam and the Umayyad era. These speeches were coloured with different stylistic feature that carried the tendencies orientations and how to form the speech and presenting it to the listener as well as their dependence on the textual loadings that differentiate in their argumental guidance. The research plan included an introductory chapter, followed by three chapters, and conclusion included the most important results of this research in which all this term interpretations and details were discussed in addition to its influence on speeches of the beginning of Islam and the Umayyad era.

Abstract: Most of the Abbaside era Maqamat were based on a bitter irony out of a painful and a tragic reality that is full of contradictions and change of standards and values. Axiomatically they had a lot of instances of irony for it is the most suitable among artistic styles. It was , there fore , adopted by Maqamat writers as the artistic styles through which they expressed their suffering and boredom ; it had been a reflection of the time they lived. For them , irony was a defensive means for facing the cruelty , deprivation and misery in their lives ; a purification means , so to say , that would eliminate the deposits of dreadful ideas and would relieve the strains of poverty and need deep inside them. The irony of the Abbaside Era Maqamat is of three main types : 1. Verbal irony : it includes anti expectation , pedantry equivocation , pun , simile and quotation. 2. Irony of situation : it includes the self uncovering , dramatically and event irony. 3. Narrative irony : it includes spatial and temporal , the narrator - hero and the secondary characters irony. These three main types make up the three chapter of the this study , with each chapter being devoted to one type preceded by an introduction that illuminates the lexical and terminological meanings of "Maqama" and "Irony" and also the nature , importance , motives and aims of each one of them. All that followed by a conclusion that sums up the findings arrived at and most important of which are the following : 1. Maqama is a dramatized story that combines the techniques of both fiction and drama. It both narrates and displays ideas. It is based on a dramatic scene with action and dialogue , a matter which tints it with vitality and excitement that it has been an impressive type of art up to the present time. 2. Linguistic irony is produced by one signifier leading to two or more signified ideas. It , then , enables us to practice a multi - reading criticism because it deepens the text , extends its interpretative limits and widens its horizons. 3. The irony of situation embodied the suffering of the Maqamat writers that their Maqamat seemed to be a reverberation of what they lived and co - lived and what they thought and felt. The irony was their outlet to steam off and express their attitudes towards their surroundings. 4. Time and place in the Abbaside Era Maqamat where open. The characters moved about in absolute time and place. That is to generalize the purpose - idea and indicate that it is likely to happen at any time and place and to implicitly indicate the bad conditions and corruption. 5. The narrator in Abbaside Maqamat is an observer who seldom takes part in the events unlike the hero who undertakes the creation and activation of events and through whom the writer pictures what he wants to deliver. Most likely , the narrator represents the writer , whereas the hero represents the socially , politically and ideologically oppressed class

Abstract: Pragmatics deals with the relation between linguistic activity and its users, and successful methods of using the linguistic marks and different keys and contexts within which the discourse is made. Also it finds out the elements that make the discourse as a successful and obvious massage and it finds out the reasons for failure in communication with natural languages.Since pragmatics has the ability to call for non - linguistic aspects in the process of criticism and analysis in the address, this method has been chosen to approach the praise poetry of Caliphs in the first Abbasid era in a way which is different from most literary studies that deals with this poetry with regard to artistic form only. Praise poetry in general, and of Caliphs in particular isn’t based on the aesthetic conditions only, but also it takes into consideration the pragmatic and social conditions that require forms of speech manner according to tone keys in response to a general law that regulates the human communication and prescribes that the success of communication between speaker and addressee is based only on the response to the pragmatic rules, such as cooperation, politeness, courtesy … etc. Since these rules are characterized by usual communication, it is better that these rules are characterized by poetic speech which requires aesthetic form. So, how do the poets leave the dignity that they seek? The poetry that praises Caliphs requires special types of criticism, so the pragmatics is the most appropriate manner to approach this type of poetry. So, we followed the pragmatic manner in studying and analyzing the praise poetries mentioned in the Abbasid royal palace.

Abstract: Praise be to Allah from Him, we wish completion and acceptance the good works He and His Prophet Mohammed (PbH). During our preparatory and upon reviewing the linguistic curricula taught literatures, we knew that it is in continuous movement never been stopped and in permanent loop never been calm so that it is renewed and released from the old without separation from it as it is in need to quote from it so that studying the text concluded integrated text without division , segmentation or partition; i.e. phonetic level never been studied independently from the grammatical level nor studying syntax away from the phonetic level , but studies all levels together in one subject and on one text. This curricular is the association law or association curricula by its two level : The essence of association ( associating text by its elements present in the text) and the nonappearance ( associating text with absent elements ), the first one is done through distribution while the second is done through election and some of which is characterized with literature behavioral speech and their role in forming and pivoting text. In the second degree after Holy Quran and Hadith of the Prophet (PbH) are studied later pertaining their superiority and their huge status , Approach of Rhetoric( Nahj Al Balagha) is came its speeches were taken from Imam Ali (PbH). In fact, my wish is that my Doctorate study to be in this great proverbs book so that my thesis is titled : Semantic Equivalence in the aphorisms of Imam Ali (PBH) and his sermons In The Approach of Rhetoric. Preliminary is the basis to form the straits of the thesis as it is the theoretical material of the thesis discussing the Equivalence by language and terminology and the twin of equivalence and antithetic and is there twin or both terms are of one meaning. And then the equivalence in Hadith semantics and expansion of term and at last the Prince of Rhetoric and its approach(PbH). In First chapter : I entered in its applications which is the equivalence of two antonyms upon showing the intention by it in language and terminology as it is divided by three parts; the first is real antonyms and the second is metaphor and the third is the equivalence of real antonyms with metaphor antonyms or what is called antonym delusion. Second chapter is about the equivalence of two similarities which is divided by three sections the first was is about the similarity equivalence singular by singular or what is called by the Rhetoric scientists by confusion and the second one is the similarity equivalence sentence by sentence or what is called in the moral creativity ( Al Badee’a) arts by conversion and replacement while the third one is called morale similarity in which the following types of Al Badee’a arts are entered : Consideration the peer, similarity of terms of sentence ( the beginning of the sentence with its end ) and giving sentences of relative meanings ( Tafweef) as I studied all that as it has all its meaning. Third Chapter is about the equivalence of two antonyms which has three pivots the first pivot as the equivalence of negative with positive which is the meaning of negative and positive synonyms and the second pivot is about regression as its meaning is the antonyms and thus I called it the equivalence of antonyms. Third pivot is about the equivalence of two added meaning as a different concept rather than antonyms equivalence. We studied due to the rarity of application on both of them and for other reasons e enlisted in its situ. Last chapter is about with antonyms equivalence including first section. First the apparent antonyms equivalence or moral synonyms and the second one is about the hidden antonyms equivalences ( hidden synonyms) while third one is studied the range of difference of entering two antonyms and added antonyms within it so that the title became added and antonyms confusion equivalence by which the study is concluded. The conclusion or results of the result , it argued the most important points are concluded by the research or study ending with references

Abstract: Quran citing takes a distinctive status in the critical work due to the great importance in determining the cited situations and matters. The writers s and authors are soncerned with citing at cuIturaI , religious and Literary references ( the aesthetics of citing of holy Quran in the Arab literary legacy books ).There are many reasons motivating the writers and critics to cite from the Quran text. This Quranic citing gives the text beauty and magnificence It heIps to discovere context and posside suggestible relations between terms and meanings. The thesis is divided in to three chapters in adduction a preface in which : it has studied the meaning of citing linguistically and idiomatically and its nature ,its motivtes , its reasons and its. It also contained three chapters. In the first chapter : we have studied the linguistic level in three parts, the first part deals with the grammatical level the second is semantica and third one is with morphological level. In the second chapter : we have studied the rhetorical level in three parts : the first part is Al - Badee'a science matters , the second is graphical matters and the third one is on the semantic matters. For the third chapter we have studied other levels , it has four parts. In first part, we have remedied the religious level. The second was concerned on the political level, third was on the intellectual level and the fourth one related to the social level. in the end we have mentioned the results, findings and research references. Abstract: Poetic drama has been an important subject that draws much attention since lyricism has begun to lessen and be replaced by ways of depicting the different problems that people face in their every - day life. Thus , it is necessary that the poet be aware of this change and the relation between drama and poetry. This depends on his / her view of the dimensions and levels of the text in the discourse and his / her recognition of the artistic work he / she is performing and through which the poet embodies the drama that includes conflicting events and persons who make the temporal and spatial frames of the dialogue in its multi - direction aspects. This study is about the dramatic structure in modern Iraqi female poetry of expatriation. Woman is always considered as the weakest and most narcissist creature who attempts to prove her active existence and presence in a narrow - minded society that once cam cells her identity once establishes it depending on her supremecy on man. She is more skillful especially in poetry of expatriation. While she is away from her homeland , she tries to be a part of the reality of expatriation. She expresses that through her sensitivity and warm feelings and , at the same time , is facing the tragic life and the painful reality. Even though , she is the most able to face all types of political , economic and social expatriation in the society. The researcher has noticed a substantial link between the poetic drama and expatriation and to how the Iraqi female poet expresses that in her poetry. This study consists of an introduction , three chapters and a conclusion. The introduction defines drama and expatriation and establishes the origin of the relation between drama and poetry or one side and between expatriation and loneliness on the other to define and limit those notions in their final form in light of modern studies. The researcher also highlights female poetry and how it responds to the situation especially that the Iraqi female poets live outside their country. The question is how able they are to embody the dramatic structure in their poems and to express the feelings of expatriation. Chapter one is made of three sections and discusses elements of the dramatic performance. The three sections are about the dramatic event , the dramatic characters and dialogue and conflict respectively. Chapter two , " Techniques of contemporary poems " , consists of two sections : The disguise on the level of the symbol and the disguise on the level of the myth respectively. Chapter three includes two sections : the first is about place and the second is about time. The conclusion includes the important results of the study ; among which is the overlap of drama and poetry as for as form and content are concerned. The study also reveals the nature of relation between expatriation and loneliness and their effect on those who are expatriated while they are seeking to prove their human existence against conflicts and crises. The female poet finds in her texts an outlet and escape from her expatriation and a reflection of her inside. She is firstly a woman and then she is a poet. She , as a female , has the characteristics of motherhood and homesickness. All that expressed in the dramatic structure of female poetry of expatriation.

Abstract: In the seventies of the previous century, linguistics of discourse emerged in reaction to Ferdinand de Saussure's linguistic theories, especially his dichotomies, which studied the internal core of language and neglected “speaking,” i.e. the use of language. De Saussure considered “speaking” as an outsider from the domain of language and this is why he was considered as the father of formalism. Then, linguists shifted their attention to studying the practical facet of ordinary language; i.e. language used in social, historical, cultural, ceremonial, and doctrinal contexts. Accordingly, pragmatics appeared in the second half of the twentieth century.Pragmatics is a philosophical theory that focuses on the principle of use, advantage, and materialism. Though it was theorized by philosophers of different orientations, it is established due to the theories of the philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce and the additions of Charles Morris. However, it becomes clearer in the studies of ordinary language philosophers who are labeled as the Philosophers of Oxford; a group of philosophers who were influenced by Ludwig Josef Johann Wittgenstein's Analytic Philosophy. Wittgenstein also influenced John Austin who attempted to refute the logical binary of saying truth and lying in judging things. Ordinary language philosophers considered language as a means to describe, amend, and change reality. Then, they regarded it as a tool that does linguistic performances. This tendency was adopted by some philosophers after Austen. Paul Grice presented his theory of conversation and interaction rules in addition to cooperative principle among speakers. John Searle, then, completed Austin's theory and developed Speech Act Theory, i.e. how to perform deeds via language using performative verbs. In this study, the researcher has chosen this area of study for its importance in analyzing discourses since analysis previously focused on exploring and deconstructing the internal core of language. This study, being a contemporary one, serves as a link with modern linguistic thoughts and products which open the door for studying Arabic, especially in old sources, because studying the books of old Arabs would show that they had used pragmatic mechanisms theoretically and practically in notion but not in term. This appears in their devotion to the context in which the Holy Quran was descended and the speaker's intentions when they spoke about the difference between utterance and concept. Besides, their studies encompass other epistemological fields such as eloquence, philosophy … etc. This study aims at exploring the mechanisms used for analyzing a pragmatic discourse. In other words, it aims at studying language in context and use.To achieve this aim, the study is divided into four chapters and a conclusion. In Chapter One, a definition is given to the main terms of the title; i.e. discourse, discourse analysis, and pragmatics. Also, an opinion of some researchers about the term “discourse” is presented. Defining “discourse analysis” says much about the concept of analysis and the shift from analyzing the linguistic structure into analyzing the circumstances in which it is said; i.e. speaker, listener, time, place, channel of commutation, context … etc. Similarly, defining pragmatics says much about its different analyzing mechanisms, its diverse theories, and the influence of other areas of knowledge upon it. In Chapter Two, Speech Act Theory is explained. Also, verbs are received a classification and a study is conducted about analyzing the pragmatic meaning. In Chapter Three, the mechanisms used to analyze meaning in the light of Paul Grice's Theory of Conversation are detailed. Also, an explanation is given about levels of discourse, its intentions, presupposition, and conversational implicature. Finally, in Chapter Four, the basic functions of pragmatic discourse, among them are communicative function, contextual function, argumentational function, are discussed. It is worth mentioning that argumentation is a pragmatic theory that has nothing to do with Aristotle's logical argumentation which is related to old eloquence in addition to speeches, and entered into the domain of linguistic study thanks to Oswald Ducrot's researchers. Finally, the conclusion sums up the following conclusions : - The pragmatic mechanisms in analyzing a discourse are an extended pattern which aims at exploring the performative meanings and intentions depending upon shared knowledge among speakers and social contexts. They also aim at exploring customs, doctrines, and ceremonies. - Language cannot perform actions by itself. In other words, it does not have the performative ability because the matter is related to man and his personal action. Hence, language is just a means for performance

Abstract: This Dissertation , entitled ( The Other in Immigration Poetry : A Study in the Light of Cultural Criticism ) , deals with the theme of " The types , Ways of its construction , how far do culture , religious and literary authorities impact its construction. It tries to discover the cultural patterns involved in the aesthetic aspects that contributed in the deterioration of the image of " The Other " , and made the poetic discourse suffer from contradiction , where it shows all that is beautiful and human , but it conceals too much ugliness and non - human intentions. This dissertation uncovers that immigration poets are interested in the aesthetic aspects rather than human aspects. Moreover , it shows how critics contributed in justifying and beautifying this discourse in such an exaggerate way.It falls into three chapters preceded by an introduction and followed by conclusions. Chapter one falls into three sections ;section one deals with the term of " The Other " linguistically and terminologically as well as the impact of the Arabic and Western cultures and religion on its formation ; section two dealt with the image of cultural criticism , its nature , its relation with other approaches and its merits and demerits ; section three was about the cultural authorities of immigration poetry and their role in forming the image of " The Other ".Chapter two is entitled The Recombinant Other. It falls into five sections , the first of which dealt with The National other , the second dealt with The Divine Other , the third introduced The Woman as being considered The Other , the fourth tackled Nature , the fifth is devoted to the transformations of The Recombinant.Chapter Three is entitled " The Different Other ". It is divided into five sections , section one dealt with The National other , section two talked about The Different other in color and religion , section three sheds light on The Invisible other , section four is devoted to The Defiled Other , the fifth section studied the transformations of The Different. In the conclusion we stated the most important results that we reached at. Finally the researcher does not claim having done a thorough study that deals with everything about the topic ; it's a mere try to study the topic.

Abstract: ان الدراسات التي تناولت القران الكريم كثيرة ولا تحصى، لكونه نصا فريدا، وبناؤه محكم متلاحم الاجزاء واسلوبه معجز، مثل بناؤه جانبا مهما من جوانب اعجازه، سواء اكان باستعمال اللغة وتوظيفها توظيفا يبهر فحول البلاغة، ام بقصصه التي ضمت بنيات متنوعة جاءت بكل | Studies that dealt with the Holy Quran are much and countless, for It is a unique text, coherently constructed and with miraculous style. Since It has represented an important side of its inimitability, either through using the language and employing it to daze the eloquence laureates, or with its stories which contained different constructions with wonderful things which remained forever by the Holy Quran, so that to be as a lesson or an example. I were deeply interested in studying a subject deals with the Holy Quran and relates to one of Its secrets, so I chose (Surat Houd - A study in Syntax Levels), and I have realized from the beginning the importance of this subject, and the accuracy in determining the remarkable criterion, which have formed a distinguished stylistic remark in the text of sura. Another reason made me to keep searching, is that the term construction represents the most distinguished features of the Holy Quran, and it is one of the terms that got a wide dispute in the critical and literary studies which have dealt with the Quranic text with studying and analysis. After I have finished selecting this subject, I decided to analyze the Quranic verses, that represented practical examples of the stylistic criterion related to the research's subject, depending mainly on the critical curricula, and guiding by the rhetorical analysis. It is worthy mentioning to refer to the most important books which I have used in my research practically and theoretically : The Holy Quran Interpretations, the old and modern Arabic dictionaries, as well as the rhetorical and stylistic books, especially the poetic stylistic books - a reading in Mahmood Hassan Ismaeel's poetry, Dr. Ashtar Dawood Mohammad. Also I have to refer to the most important Quranic academic studies which preceded me in this regard and which I have made use of them in my research : * Surat Al - kahif - A stylistic study - Master thesis, Wasan Abdul Ghani * Speech levels in the Quranic story - Ph.D. thesis - Faiza Mohammad. Regarding the most important problems I have faced in this research, most of them are related to the dispute about the construction term, as well as, the difficulty in getting the modern sources in the modern Quranic studies, especially the ones which have dealt with time in the Holy Quran, where they are little and rare, where the researcher has spent more effort to get them. After relying on Allah, and completing the general form of the subject, I have found the necessity of settling a suitable plan for the applied procedure in this study, so I have chosen the following plan : The research consists of an introduction, a preface, four chapters, a conclusion, an index of resources and contents, and an abstract in English language. The preface has been divided into two axes, the first one deals with Surat Houd, where I have explained its revealing order, numbers of verses, aim and reasons of revelation. The second axis deals with the concept of construction in the Holy Quran due to the ancients and modernists. The first chapter has dealt with studying the phonetic level, it has been divided into three parts : * The first part deals with comas harmony and its effect on the phonetic construction.* The second part deals with the phonetic equivalence.* The third part deals with the phonetic assemblies. The second chapter has dealt with the dictionary level, it has been divided into two parts : * The first part deals with studying the dictionary function of the title's construction.* The second part deals with studying the dictionary function of the great figures constructions. The third chapter has dealt with time sign of the structural constructions, it has been divided into two axes : * Verbs constructions.* Negative and interrogative constructions The fourth chapter has dealt with the semantic level, it has been divided into two parts : * The first part deals with the semantic similarity order.* The second part deals with the semantic adjacent order. At the end of this trip, the researcher thanks the Prof. Dr. (Abdullah Mahmood Al - Moula) who have the honor to supervise this thesis, where he has taken the responsibility of this long trip with his guidance and advice. My thanks are also go to my teaching staff in Department of Arabic Language / College of Arts, and for everyone who guided me and helped me in this research, may Allah accepts from me, thank for Him at the beginning and at the end.

Abstract: The Arabic novel with its regional orientation has not been isolated from the novel in general, since it employs a lot of cinematic techniques, proving, meanwhile, that it is open to other arts, keeping up the vibe of renewal and development, because many writers wrote with cinematic awareness and cinematic technique. This elicited the researcher to delve deeper into the effort found in the novels to achieve new modes of expression, which rely heavily on the image and the cinematic formation to maintain the tools to elevate the narrative speech, granting it the necessary narrative identity, which is featured with innovation and high narrative performance. The study is preceded by a forward, which tackles the definitions of concepts that are relevant to the study such as technicality, the concept of cinema, its techniques, and its impact on the Arabic novel. It also highlights the term "New Arabic Novel", and the classification of the novels under study according to it. Examining eventually the studied novels and the criteria of selecting them. The study falls into three chapters beginning with theoretic entries giving sufficient idea about each technology. The first chapter highlights the scenario. It is divided into two sections; the first includes types of scenario in the Arabic novel; the second is about the elements of scenario in the Arabic novel. The second chapter highlights the functions of the camera put into application. It falls into three main sections; the first tackles the corners of the camera, the second tackles the movement of the camera and its steadiness, and the third tackles the duration of the shots. The third chapter discusses the impact of montaging on the Arabic novel. It is divided into two main sections; the first is entitled "The Narrative Montage in the Novel in its Four Types : Horizontal, Reverse, Parallel, and Alternative Montage"; while the second tackles the Expressive Montage in the novel in its two types : the ideological and the rhythmic. The Conclusion sums up the findings of the research and the proposed recommendations.

Abstract: Thanks be to Allah and the best of prayers upon his prophet, Abi Al - Qasim Mohammed and his Household members and his companions, and everyone who followed the same path as they did. Due to the importance of a syntactic model for grammarians, as grammar has been built on it and syntactic rules have been derived from it, in addition to being the arbitrator for every dispute or disagreement arising between the various, numerous syntactic schools. This reasons, among many, made syntactic models their point of focus. They collect, arranged and explained these models for those interested in syntax, thus creating a new profession and a new discipline of syntactic study, named Syntactic Models Interpretation. AlSaayid Al - Amili's Book falls within this category, as it explained Ibn Al - Nadhim Models used for explaining his father's Alfiya. The reason I chose investigation for my doctorate dissertation is to pick up where I left off in my master study, where I investigated Mussa Bin Azeez Allah Al - Musawi AlJaza’ir’sLisan Al - Muta’ilimeen. I wished to walk down a similar path and master this aspect, an art that needed earnestness, perseverance, and effort; all of whom are sources of joy. Furthermore, this type of study bears a great scientific value in resurrecting our heritage, which has waited long for such resurrection. The most important causes for my choosing this book were the newness rarely found in books of the same category. This is shown in the Book Value heading of the second section in chapter two; its connection with Ibn Al - Nadhum's explanation of his father's Alfiya. The study methodology required that the study was to be divided into two parts : the first, the study part, consisted of four chapters preceded by a preface giving a brief description of the most important notions of this dissertation. The dissertation ends with a conclusion presenting the most notable results reached by this study. As regards the chapters titles and sections, the first one is entitled (Ibn Al - Nadhim and Al - Saayid Al - Amili, and Ibn AlNadhim Models Explanation). It consists of two sections : the first dealt with everything related to Al - Sayid Al - Amili - academic and personal résumé - while the second is used to Al - SayidAlAmili book - its title, attribution, motives for writing, general and special methodology, and other matters. Chapters two and three are devoted for studying the syntactic issues found in the book. Thus, chapter two was entitled “His Syntactic Replies and Preferences”, each of the two aspects of the title was allotted its own section. A number of the issues related to each title are studied and discussed as the study methodology requires. Chapter three, “His Syntactic Views and His Attitude towards the Two Schools”, consists also of two sections. The first one is devoted to his syntactic views, whether they are solely his or are joint with others, while the second dealt with some issues of controversy between the schools of grammar : Basrah School and Kufa School, which were mentioned by Al - Sayid, showing his stands towards them and his syntactic inclinations. Chapter four, “Badr Al - Deen Al - Aini's and Al - Sayid Al - Amili's Explanations : Comparative Study”, consisted of three sections, preceded by a briefing about Al - Aini's life and his book “Fara’id Al - Qala’id”. Section one succinctly discusses the two books mentioned in the chapter title, while making a simple comparison between the two to pinpoint how the former impacted the latter. The second section is devoted for the study of a number of the objections raised by Al - Sayid Al - Amili to AlAini, in accordance with scientific research requirements. Finally, in section three some of Al - Aini's ideas that were inaccurately understood by Al - Amili, with the latter's point of view corrected by proof. The second part of the study contained the investigated script and everything related to it. The latter are divided into two sections : the first provides a description of all the manuscripts found by the investigator, whether incorporated in the investigation or not; whereas the second is used to present the methodology adopted by the investigator and the mechanism used to bring out the final product to the reader. This is given by presenting three copies of each manuscript used in the investigation. The dissertation is concluded by the bibliography and the abstract in English. The most notable difficulties and problems faced while preparing this dissertation can be summarized by the following : not finding the copy written by the author, wrongly attributing a number of manuscripts to the author by some scholars. The latter was especially problematic. I went out of my way to prove them wrong. Another problem was the large number of the author's manuscripts, which made it difficult to select the best ones. Furthermore, the material was large, extensive, and varied. Despite of all of these difficulties, the researcher saved no effort to complete the work in the best manner possible. All credit should be attributed to Almighty Allah what whom without his providence I would not have accomplished any of that. Thanks and praise to no one but Allah. Thanks to Allah first and last, may Allah prayers be upon his Prophet Mohammed, and his infallible Household members

Abstract: This study deals with the aspects of detraction in Arabic language on two levels : the vocabulary and the structural. The research has found out that detraction is a nothingness meaning referring to diminution or completion where there are linguistic aspects in Arabic language that detract the diminution and turn it into completion and vice versa. The pioneer to use the term of detraction was Al - Khaleel bin Ahmed Al - Farahidi in the second century of Hijra. Since that time, no one has ever dealt with the term till the fourth century of Hijra where it was renewed by a linguist named Ibn Jini. Ibn Jini has assigned a special chapter to the term in one of his books entitled (Chapter in Detraction). Since then, the term has become popular and grown and broadened. Another factor which had a role in the growing of the term was the meaning of detraction coming from the Greek philosophy at the time of cultural connection between Arabic and Greek cultures. In the light of the duality of (the existence or nothingness) or (diminution and completion), linguistic detraction has been found in many linguistic fields other than Arabic such as : philosophy, psychology, speech act and anthropology. These fields have been great help in studying linguistic detraction deeply regardless any specific linguistic approach taking advantage of the descriptive, normative, historical and comparative approach. The study is divided into a Preface showing the two aspects of detraction : Existence and Nothingness. Three chapters are followed : Chapter One studies the meaning of detraction and its problem, Chapter Two tackles the singular detraction and Chapter Three deals with the structural detraction.

Abstract: The Doctorate degree in Arabic and its literature needs many requirements like this research. The theory of the "presumptions support" that Dr. Tammam Hassan puts, new studies appeared and affected with these presumptions. These new studies demon started their impacts in old linguistic studies. Among the old scientists recognized them and incorporate that in their compilation. That resulted in making them a large scientific field in which many studiers and researchers came in. One of those was al - Wahidi the owner of the three explanation : Concise, Intermediate, and Simple. In the simple explanation "the research field" Al - Wahidi recognized the most of those presumptions and he didn't depend only on the "Al - E'arab presumption". Once he used the presumptions clearly. And an other time he indicate them. For example ,some text can not be explained except that explanations depend on the presumptions like traditions and habits as in demonstrating the meaning, and the relation between the pilgrimage (hajj) and coming to the houses from their doors as it is in surah. Al - baqarah, the explanation was according to those traditions which the Arabic community followed in the ignorant age. One of the current age feature is the study in that field thereby various studies appeared and demon started that the presumptions have got effects in their fields. The scientists distributed the presumptions according to what their studies need. But I found that the best distribution could be four fold, to beghn with the word and what happen on it as : E'arab, Tanween, and Harmony. Then some words demand to accompany other words, and also the effect of the words nearness with other words. Afterwards, we come out to what surround these words. The title of the thesis "its field was the simple explanation" was the presumptions and its effect in directing meaning with the reference to the Tafseer al - Baseet for Al - Wahidi (died in 468 H). The thesis was organized into : foreword, introduction, four units and conclusion. For word : As a fore word ,I dealt with the reasons of selecting the subject, the difficulties I found in selecting the subject, the borders of the research, besides the references. Introduction : in the introduction, I talked about the notion of presumption, the meaning in language and convention, and their kinds. I didn’t talk about the book and its author, But they are two large fields for detailed studies, several researchers wrote about them such as those investigators in the author's book, (the simple explanation) headed them.Units : The units are as follows : Unit one : verbal presumptions, I talked about the presumptions which its performance can be in pronunciation like construction , in other words, the word and the effects happen for it. and I distributed this unit into five topics : conjugation construction, E'arab mark, tanueen, harmony, and stopping. Unit two : The presumptions depend on the relations among the words, in this unit , I talked about the presumptions where the words have got relation with the nearby words, their meaning can be got by these words. Each presumption needs connection between two linguistic elements, in other words, the two parts of the sentence demand , each one another in the same sentence or near it, for example : the verb needs the subjects and the preposition needs the noun comes after it that is for demonstration not for enumeration. These presumptions are for : Corres pondence, means, solidarity, connection and rank. Unit three : Incorporeal presumptions, the talking was about the group of presumptions that disclose the contextual relations among the parts of the sentence, therefore this unit was divided into : support presumption, specialty presumption, proportion, and subordination presumption.Unit four : Current Presumptions, The talking was about the group of presumptions that enter the stage of the linguistic text. They deal with the circumstances and the atmospheres that surround the sentence or the text and in which the text was be said. These presumptions can be occurred out the linguistic text where the text born in them. There is no relation between them and the text words excluding the circumstances that surround the to distinct and demonstrate it. Its distribution was as follows : the reasons of the descent ,prophetic hadith tradition and physical movements. As for conclusion… It contained the results that appeared during the research. and grace of Allah to whom be ascribed all perfection and majesty ,that the supervisor on this research is our professor ,Dr.Raja'a khalaf awad al - Tikrity who covered me with her grace and her guiding ,then, she didn't scant me with her advise and instructions.she endured a lot of troubles allah rewards her and bestow upon her with plentiful graces. and praise be to god! thank god.

Abstract: The aesthetic studies are seen as one of the attempts to investigate the textual structure in the modern criticism. These analyses disclose the relationship between elements of the text and how they are interrelated. Accordingly, the present study entitled Emam Hussein's Prose : an Analytical Study of the Aesthetic Structure of the Text is concerned with the aesthetic, speculative and interpretive analyses in an attempt to pick out those aesthetic aspects and relations from the prospect of their concordance, order, adjacency and similarity. At the same time, these studies reveal the non - correspondences and antitheses of these aesthetical signs of the text. The study falls into six chapters, distributed throughout two parts. The first part comprises three chapters. The first one is an introduction to the aesthetics and textual structure in the contemporary criticism presenting a number of different views about the aestheticism. The second chapter is concerned with the aesthetics of lexical patterns in the texts as being used in Emam Hussein's prose writing and how critics have analysed these patterns. The third chapter discusses the aesthetical applications of the lexical patterns in the contemporary criticism. The second part is also composed of three chapters. The first one is concerned with discussing the aesthetics of similarity or conformity and adjacency and collocation in modern criticism as far as Emam Hussein's prose is concerned. The second chapter presents the aesthetics of the structure of condensing and the nature of its formation in rhetoric and criticism as well as how it is represented in Emam Hussein's prose. The third chapter argues the aestheticism of rhymed prose. and assonance in modern criticism and in Emam Hussein's prose.

Abstract: The choice of studying these holy surahs is not for that they have bonds among each other in terms of shape, as they begin in chopped letters, for example, but for that they have objective unity, the homogeneity of its discourse, and matching of its styles, as if it is a one surah , while every one of them keep a distinguishing character. These surahs (some chapters of holy Quran) reflect the evolution of the meanings that have come out of the Islamic mission and the development of the activities of mission itself in Mecca, how they were received ,accepted and rejected. It is a period focused on that there were two conflicting groups, a group of believers and the other of unbelievers. The discourse was centered upon the bases in the conflict with the unbelievers, about the controversy and protest on the basis of religion, of the doctrine of monotheism in its various dimensions, and the prophecy, the holy Quran, revelation, and the resurrection, and the attempts to persuade whether by intimidation, threats and warnings, or by guidance and direction. And through the Qur'anic discourse and its methods in these sura, the positions of two teams unfolded in detail, showing how Quranic text has entered the element of controversy, and to a large extent, the history by using Quranic stories. There is no doubt that the above characteristics in the sura were reflected in morphological features of the structure and its synthetic. so, the approach of studying them based on the element of choice, according to what the researcher sees of characteristics for structures and compositions chosen, so that they could form a prominent feature unfolding its aesthetics, and its impact on the receiver. The study divided into two parts with four chapters, the first part singled out to discuss the morphological structure, linking between them and the implications of its acoustic semantics on the basis of the principle of integrity between the two structures. The sounds represent the essential components of morphological structure. This part came in two chapters, preceded by a prelude represented a theoretical concise highlighting the importance of morphological structure in linguistic studies of both ancient and modern, as well as showing their relationship to levels of the other language. The first chapter was devoted to the structure of verbs, as the first title dealt with the augmented structure of them, because they are not limited to lexical meanings, but the augment in them refers to signs pointing to the specificity of the holy Sura studied. The second title of the act was devoted to passive and the contexts of its use where as the second chapter discusses names structure, starting with the structure of sources, trilateral and Quartet, the augmented and unaugmented, then came the active participle, and exaggerated structure. the chapter ended with adjective.

Abstract: Thanksfullness of God of all God 's Pray on the prophet Mohammed the last sender and prophet of God. As well as his family members and his colleague. All human studies surrounded by the human mind and thinking and its descended which give different sort of vision of all fields of science and knowledge of humanity especially the literary side of it. This form and shape the creativity and criticism of mankind. which was and still has the completion stickled and connected to it from the time of until the Hanz Robert saying through which the researcher built this thesis. The Hnze Robert saying describes the relationship between production and recipient as the legend ( enemy brothers) and he has gone further to see the descendant of the legend from the beginning of Marks and finishing with italo Calvino the author of the well - known Novel ( If I was Travelling through a rainy Night ) which Hanz benefit from going through the Novel a lot to explain and declare ) a lot of his thoughts and ideas about the production and the receiving. And from his going through the whole of this Novel and their heroes and stars ( flanrry ) he was able to see the close relationship between time of writing and time of reading without worry of emptiness. The search in the scope of the Novel was compressive as comprehensive of literature that can contain all subjects as the psycharistics Doctor Fruid when he practice his theory on the novels of Dystoviscky and other novels. Abstract: Language is the tool for expressing and understanding in the societies. By the language, we can express about our needs and our desires and can show others our feelings and our senses. Language is the basic element in society and we can consider it as the active tool for developing and growing the society. At any period of the time, the language is the clear mirror of society which reflects the life of this society. The 20th century had the distinguished action on in linguistic and structural fields, and it considers on these studies to produce the different methods. The grammarians' studies took two different attitudes in the grammar field, include : The traditional attitude and the modern one ( deals with grammar in English methods). It is clear, the researchers had the different situations towards this matter. A number of them depended on ancient inherited and neglected one. And another party of them saw that the Arabic grammar should have modern view.We should mention that the material of research in located on the reported descriptive system for the linguistic phenomena. This thesis includes four chapters and conclusion.Chapter one, includes the establishing and completing period, reasons for establishment of grammar, its history and its developments and grammatical schools.Chapter two deals with the linguistic methods and their impact in building the Arabic grammar (comparative historical methods)These methods show the ways in Arabic grammatical studies and clarify the development of the studies which consider on its base, then offers the same answers for solving the problems which relate with parsing, sentence and its references with times, the descriptive methods and its position from the problems and components. This chapter show many sides of Chomsky's theory, its stages and the transformational rules which used for transforming the sentences, also it deals with function according to Prague school and functional attitudes which have offered by Firth. The third chapter offers the restrictions in grammar : parts of speech which presented the dispute point among the classical and modern grammarians. The fourth chapter deals with sides of Arabic application attempts which aim to describe the Arabic grammar on transformational grammar rules. The conclusion includes the important results for the research

Abstract: If each research should be based on general hypotheses, this research has been based on central hypotheses : A - What is the exact meaning of the summarized? And do the scientists differ according to their knowledge specializations that meaning or concept? And does the summarized limited to the single term or does it transit to the construction also as well as the linguistic construction, i.e, does it lay on its general significance.B - The quranic performance of significance is either a general obscure or partial limited, as mentioned by most of the books of the sciences of quran. With the general concept, represented by the summarization, absolution and generalization, the researcher tried to find the differences and similarities among them in tools, content and significance inquiring whether this difference is applying on what opposite them i.e., elaboration, specialization and restriction.C - If the researchers have elaborated in explaining the tools of generalization and absolution, they have left us the favor of discovering the tools of summarization. So they obliged us with a scientific duty to find out the tools of summarization and the tools of elaboration to be coincide with their efforts in verifying and adjusting the tools of generalization and absolution, and the tools of specialization and restriction.D - The researcher tries to get a clear perfectness for clarifying the concept of elaboration and elaborated and the parts or division of each one, and find out the differences and similarities between elaboration, on a hand, and restriction and specialization, on another hand, as tools of clarifying in the holy quranic text.E - The researcher tries to pick up the detailed clarifying tools for the summarized and inquiring : does the elaboration come in text which has a summarized only? Or does it come in a separate text. And what are the significances of that elaboration and its effect in supporting the quranic significance. F - The researcher also wants to be satisfied with a question of whether the summarized is submitted to the factor of its meaning's interpretation and preferness, so perseverance will be a kind of its elaborating exhibit? Or it is out of the interpretation scope. The researcher gets a group results throughout his research, some of which are : 1 - The researcher finds that the summarization does not exist only within the single term, but it transits to the construction. Some of the linguistic construction comes summarized with obscure significance, and none of the linguists or rhetoricians had mentioned it, while the grammarians the great favor in clarifying this kind of summarization and exhibiting its concept and exemplified it.2 - The researcher finds that summarization does not share the linguistic construction in its general significance only, it exist also in the relation between the subject and predicate, which will be obscure and needs to be clarified.3 - The researcher was able to find out the point of coincidence between the concept of the summarized, on a hand, and the concepts of the absolute and the general on the other hand, in terms of obscurity, comprehension and significance association. Then he clarified the point of difference among the terms so he identified each concept. 4 - The researcher finds that the definites which are means of clarification of speech may have summarization so it will be of obscure significance, so it will turn into a means of obscurity.5 - The researcher finds that the indefinite that refers to absolution when it comes in affirmative context may come summarized in the same affirmative context, when the indefinite term refers to (a noun) not to an essence.6 - The researcher finds out that the restriction and specialization which are means of clarifying meaning may come summarized and obscure so they will need the explanation of the elaborated, so this elaborated summarized will be more elaborated than the absolute restriction or the general specialization. 7 - The researcher distinguishes between the elaboration on a hand, and the restriction and specialization on the other hand, and finds that elaboration clarifies significance more than the other kinds, followed by restriction, and specialization comes at the end of the rhetorical order of the rhetorical tools or means. The researcher also distinguishes elaboration, restriction and specialization, and shows the point of similarity and coincidence among them. 8 - The researcher finds that elaboration has tools or means by which it is defined in a speech, and elaborations may come as a single term like (in), (differentiation) and (substitution), and it may come also as a complete sentence like the sentence of the whole substitution from the whole, and that the elaboration come in the speech in two types, it may be connected comes directly after the summarized in the same text, or it may be separated comes in another text like the quran elaboration for the quran summarization or the sunna (prophetic law) elaboration for the quran summarization. 9 - The researcher finds out some of the elaborated comes to clarify a summarized term precedes it, and some comes to clarify a summarized sentence precedes it, and here the elaborated will either clarify the rate of the preceded sentence if it is summarized or it will clarify the sentence significance without its rate. 10 - Finally, the researcher reaches a state of satisfaction that the receiver cannot elaborate the summarized, it is the speaker who does so, and no one has the right of perseverance and knowledge to which it aims. Recommendation : The researcher recommends to study the terms of researches and studies for the principles which should be of the subjects that the specialists should study, because studying and understanding these subjects enable them to analysize the quranic text exactly and it is the specialist of Arabic language was able to do so the other texts will be easier. These efforts, also, should be subjects for the master and the Ph.D (doctorate) degree (of Arabic Language) stages, at least in its significance scope, to develop these studies or to use it as a base, or to compare it with the modern and contemporary linguistic studies.

Abstract: The student of Arabic Language becomes acquainted with many of the linguistic phenomena of the four types : phonetics, syntax, semantics and declension through which he can establish a solid linguistic thought. Of these phenomena are the linguistic rules whichhave a great role in many aspects where the linguists and grammarians, who were interested in the sound speech, correct the speakers of the Quran's language.Of these rules I discussed the rules of prevention and permission which I studied depending on (Al - Osul fi Al - Nahu) by Ibn seraj (died in 316 A.H) for its scientific value and for containing the approach of both schools Al - Basrah and Al - Kufa. The nature of this research involved to be devided into two parts, each of which dealt with one of the mentioned rules. The first chapter is dedicated to permission which came in three chapters. As for the first one, it dealt with phonetic permission which included substitute, assimilation, inflections and el - imala. The second chapter is about the inflectional permission which included pluralizing, duatling femining forms and diminutive. The third chapter is grammatical permission which includes uninflectioning and inflectioning. The inflectioning included the nominatives, genitives accusatives, adverbs and adjectives, while the un - inflectioning included nouns, verbs and articles. The second part is about prevention which also included three chapters, first of which is phonetic prevention including substitution, assimilation and el - imala. The second is diptote declension which included the same themes included in diptote prevention. The third chapter is grammatical prevention which included the inflections and uninflections and all their contents. These parts are preceded by a preface in which I mensioned prevention and permission and their concet in the language and the reason they emerged. A conclusion following the two parts included the most significant results which the researcher reached depending on old and modern references those results are : - 1) Ibn Siraj used many ways of permission and prevention, this is aproof that the Arabic language is very comprehensive.2) Many of the linguistic and grammatical rules could be based on the Quran alone because it is obvious and it needs no discussion or argument but they depended on their standards related to the grammatical issues and they do not quote from the HolyQuran because it is very obvious. Even if they do not depend on it, they build the grammatical base on Quran and they provide examples from Quran to enhance their rules and whenever something in the Quran is against what they believe they try tointerpret it in a way that suits them. As for me I demand rewriting the grammar rules according to what cam in the Quran. I advise my colleagues of researchers to overcome the dispute among the grammatical schools because it is only a dispute over the rule written by the grammarian, if we only take a closer look we will see that there is dispute even among the grammarians of the same school and the same era, so it is better to study the difference and similarity of the same school
