Abstract: يهدف هذا البحث الى بناء وحدات تعليمية وفقا لانموذج كيير لمادة المناهج وطرائق التدريس لطلبة المرحلة الثالثة من اقسام الجغرافية في كليات التربية والتعرف على اثر تلك الوحدات في تحصيل الطلبة والدافعية العقلية للتعلم لدى عينة البحث ولتحقيق اهداف البحث تبنت ا | The current research aims to build educational units according to Kerr’s model in curriculum building of the curricula and methods of teaching material for third stage geography departments’ students in colleges of education and to identify the impact of those units in the academic achievement and the motivation to learn within the research sample.And to achieve the research goals, the educational units were built in a manner that agrees with Kerr’s model with its four items (the goals, the content, experiences, and the evaluation) the research experiment was applied on a sample of college of education for humanities / Ibn Rushed - morning study students with rate of two sections represented the research two groups ; the control group (27) and the experimental group (25) where the depended curriculum was the experimental curriculum of the two groups and with a post test represented in the instruments of research the California test of the mental motivation to learn and the academic achievement test which was built of (50) items to identify the impact of the suggested educational curriculum in the motivation to learn and the academic achievement.The end modules tests and the motivation test and after analyzing their results statistically showed the existence of significant mean difference for the experimental group in the two under consideration study variables, the study finally came with the following recommendations : - 1 - The educational units according to Kerr’s model in curriculum building contributed in raising the level of achievement for third stage geography departments’ students in colleges of education in curricula and methods of teaching material.2 - The use of Kerr’s model showed effectiveness in the reinforcement of the students’ motivation towards the learning

Abstract: The present study aims to construct a Teaching program proposed in the collection of material GIS and identifying its effectiveness on the 2nd year female students who are participating in the experiment al group at the Department of Geography, college of Education For Women, University of Baghdad. A Partial control experimental design which is a pre - post experimental - control design is adopted in the present study. Two groups are assigned randomly as an experimental group which is section A , and a control group which is section B from the Deportment of Geography at the college of Education for Women. The total number It amounted research sample (60) by a student (30) students in each division. The two groups are equalized in several Factors which are : IQ lest , Age in months , prior knowledge , And testing of the above information for geographic information systems (pre - test), and academic achievement for parents, as well as several intruding factors are also controlled during the experimental work. I studied the researcher herself students two sets of search after it identified topics article, and the researcher to build its teaching proposed using the program (ARC GIS V.9.3) for the collection of material geographic information systems, and prepared necessary to teach students two sets Find lesson plans, and the number of plans (44) Plan for each of the two groups, the rate of (22) plan for each group, and presented to a group of arbitrators and specialists, and in the light of the opinions held by the necessary adjustments. For the purpose of measuring achievement in the subject of GIS for students in the two sets of research topics studied by the researcher. The lest includes two questions : Q1 includes 35 items of the MCQ items, where as Q2 includes 15 items of a Short essay type. Validity , reliability, and item analyst including the item level of difficulty , item discrimination power , and the power of affective ness for the incorrect alternatives , The lest have been exposed an a group of Arbitrators , then applied in sample of both groups before starting the experimental work , and after eleven weeks which is the assigned period of work Experience. Data is analyzed by using two - independent samples T - test. Results revealed the following : The experimental group students were superior on the control group ones on a level of significance of 0.05 on the post lest. This means that students who have been taught by The proposed teaching program are better in their achievement than those who were taught Geographic information system without the suggested model. In light of the results of this study, it was found to a set of conclusions and recommendations, and proposals. Conclusions : 1. The use of the proposed teaching program led to the positive interaction of the students, and active participation for the duration of the experiment. 2. Use of the proposed teaching program has helped to raise the level of second grade students in the collection of material GIS. Recommendations : 1. attention to technology as an essential tool in the learning process - learning in all academic levels and on school and college level 2.alahtmam the use of modern educational technologies by about a year, and construction of the proposed teaching about special programs, consistent with the characteristics of the students, and the nature of the course material through reconsider its own geographic information material taught Bmdarcna our colleges and even kept pace with the age of technology and information systems curriculum. In order to achieve the research 's goal , the researcher has placed two Zero hypotheses : • There are not statistical differences between averages of three groups , the 1st group is the experimental one that studies the geography by the strategy of trainer and 2nd experimental group studies the same subject with mistakes - existing strategy and the control group studies the same subject with the traditional method in acquiring the geographic concepts.. • There are not statistical differences between averages of three groups , the 1st group is the experimental one that studies the geography by the strategy of trainer and 2nd experimental group studies the same subject with mistakes - existing strategy and the control group studies the same subject with the traditional method in acquiring geographic thinking. The researcher has followed an experimental method which is the design of the control group according to random specialization for individuals and pre - and post - tests.The researcher has randomly chosen education directorate of al - Rusafa /2 of among six directorates and by the same method. It has been chosen the Martyr Nadhim intermediate school where it has been randomly chosen three sections of students of among five sections which are ( B,C,D) and by the same method ; the section B represents 1st experimental group , section C represents 2nd experimental group and D represents the control group. The sample amounts 90 students , 30 students in the 1st experimental group who have studied with strategy of trainer , 30 students who have studied with strategy of existing - mistakes and 30 students in the control group who have studied with the traditional method. Equivalence has been carried out amongst the three groups in the variables ( test of intelligence , test of acquiring geographic concepts , former marks of geography subject, time multiplied with months and educations for the parents). It has been verified the internal and external safety for removing the effect of internal variables that could affect the followed - up variables. The educational substance in the geography subject has been specified , it has been analyzed the content of the subject as to specify the concepts the substance includes. It has been amounted 109 geographic concept. The researcher has randomly chosen 20 concepts for building a test of geographic concepts acquisition , taking into consideration the time and the stage for the students. The researcher has prepared the behavior goals that amounted 321 behavioral goal according to the three operations for acquiring the concept ( definition, distinction, application) , it has been prepared 87 studying plan , that every group has ( 29) plan ; besides, it has been prepared a test for acquiring the geographical concepts. The test includes 60 item of multi - test and its psychometric properties. The researcher has confirmed validity and consistence of the test. The researcher has prepared list of geographical thinking skills and then he has exposed them to the experts. Based on their recommendation, the researcher has built a test of geographical thinking acquisition that includes 32 items. The researcher has confirmed validity and consistence of the test and its psychometric aspects. The two tests have been applied after the end of experiment that continued for one studying year as of 11/10/2015 up to 15/3/2016.. After statistically processing by using unitary analysis , it has been indicated the following results : • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between three groups ' grades average in acquiring the geographic concepts and thinking.• There are not statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd experimental group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 1st experimental group. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 2nd experimental group. • There are not statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd experimental group grades averages in geographic thinking test. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 1st experimental group. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 2nd experimental group grades average and control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts thinking. In the light of the results , the researcher has recommended the following : • Directing the geography subject teacher not to use the traditional method , use trainee's strategy and mistake - existing strategy in studying the geographic concepts as having a grand effect on acquiring the geographic concepts and geographical thinking. • Granting the students in the intermediate stage in and outside the school for acquiring the geographical concepts and geographic thinking. Abstract: يرمي هذا البحث الى معرفة اثر استراتيجية اليد النشطة في تحصيل مادة الاجتماعيات لدى تلامذة الصف الخامس الابتدائي. ولتحقيق هدف البحث صاغت الباحثة الفرضية الصفرية الاتية : ليس هناك فرق ذو دلالة احصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0,05) بين متوسط درجات تلامذة المجموعة | The present study aims at identifying the Effect of the Hand - on Strategy in the Achievement of Social studies at the Fifth Grade Primary School.To achieve the objective , the researcher formulated null hypotheses : There is no statistically difference significant at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who have studied by the hand - on strategy and between the average scores of the control group who studied the same material in the traditional method in the achievement.The researcher depend on a partial seizure experimental design a (design of the experimental group and a control group of the post - teat) and the researcher chose the students of the fifth grade from the primary school (Abdull bin Maktoum) a mixed school in one of the Education directorate school / AL - Russafa The second / Baghdad , for the academic year (2014 - 2015) and that for the purpose of application the experiment , the sample consisted of (72) male and female from the fifth grad student , by (36) one in the experiment group that taught according to the Hand - on strategy , and (36) of the student in the control group that they were taught by the traditional method.The researcher equalized between the two groups before starting the experience in some of variables are (pre - knowledge test , the grades of the social studies material for the previous year , IQ level , Academic achievement for the parents , and the age in months) , the material that going to be taught has been identified which included the first chapters of the social studies which included the whale article of the Geography that going to be taught to the Fifth Grad Primary for theyear 2015 , Than the researcher formed the behavioral goals that included (80) behavioral goal in light of the overall goals and according to (Bloom) classification for the knowledge domain of three levels (knowledge , understanding , application). The researcher prepared plans for teaching the subjects that should be taught for the both of the search groups studied , and for the search tool the researcher prepared an Achievement objective test a multiple - choice type that included (30) paragraph according to the map test (table specifications) , and the researcher confirmed from its sincerity and persistence and its psychometric properties. The researcher applied the experience in the first semester of the academic year (2014 - 2015) A.D on Wednesday (29/10/2014) and the experience ended on Monday (12/1/2015) as the researcher applied the achievement post - test , the experiment lasted for 10 week by two lessons per week for each group , and the two groups were taught by the researcher herself. To handling the data statistically the researcher depended the (T - test) and the results showed : There is a statistically difference significant at the level of (0,05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who have studied by the Hand - on strategy and between the average scores of the control group who studied the same material in the traditional method and in the advantage of the experimental group in the achievement. In the light of the outcome the researcher concluded : That the Hand - on strategy has the positive effect in the social studies material with the students of the fifth grade primary , so this strategy is more effective than the traditional method.The researcher recommended a number of recommendations are : 1. Seminar and training courses for the teachers included the subject of the Active Learning strategies included the Hand - on strategy.2. Create the Social studies material according to the Active learning by giving the learners more space for creativity and participation.3. Supplies the Active learning equipment that help the success of the teaching process according to the modern strategies.4. Dependence the Hand - on strategy in the teaching social studies (geography) at the primary school because of its properties and the positive effect in raising the level of achievement.The researcher proposed : 1. Conducting studies that dealing with the Hand - on strategy on a different materials and study stages and its effect on different following like the kinetic intelligence , the retention , and the trend toward the material.2. Abstract: يرمي هذا البحث التعرف على فاعلية برنامج تعليمي على وفق نظرية معالجة المعلومات في تحصيل مادة الجغرافية وتنمية مهارات ما وراء المعرفة لدى طالبات الصف الخامس الادبي، ولتحقيق هدف البحث اعتمدت الباحثة على منهجين هما : المنهج الوصفي في بناء البرنامج التعليمي وال | The present study aims at : The effect of pedagogical program according to the theory of information processing in the achievement of geography and development of metacognition skills for fifth grade \literary branch students.In order to achieve the objectives of the study the researcher depended in two methodologies : the descriptive approach in building the pedagogical program, and the experimental approach in stating the effectiveness in the acquisition of geography and the basic learning processes for fifth grade stage students through the verification of the following two zero hypotheses : 1 - There are no statistical significant differences in average score of the students of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the program prepared according to the theory of information processing and the average score of students of the control group who study in posttest.2 - There are no statistical significant differences in average score of the students of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the program prepared according to the theory of information processing and the average score of students of the control group who study in the scale metacognition skills. The present study was confined to the students of fifth literary branch in the Markaziya secondary school for Girls in (30) students for the control group the Secondary school of Khadija Al - Kubra in (30) students. The two groups were matched in the variables of (age, IQ, previous information test, basic science processes pretest, previous knowledge in geography, and parent acquisition). The researcher prepared two tools for the dependent variable; the first is the achievement test made up of 40 of test items in 38 items to measure the behavioral objectives (knowledge, understanding, evaluation). The second tool represent the adaptation of the scale (Seshro and Widenson, 1994). Which is adjusted to the Arab environment by the researchers (Al - Jarah and Abaedat, 2011). It consists of ((42) items( of fivefold). The experiment lasted for one academic year 2/11/2014 - 15/4/2015. The researcher lasted for the two groups. At the end of the experiment the researcher applied the achievement test on the two groups of study. After grading the answer sheets, they were subject to statistical process by the use of t - test. The results showed the following : 1. The excel of the experimental group who studied the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program prepared according to the information process over the students of the control group who study in the same subject in the traditional methods in the achievement of natural geography.2. The excel of the experimental group who studied the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program prepared according to the information process over the students of the control group who study in the same subject in the traditional methods in the metacognition test.In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher comes up to the following findings : 1. There is a need for the students of the preparatory school for pedagogical program according to the theory that the upper mental processes that enhance the learner in the pedagogical processes.2. The effectiveness of the pedagogical information according to the theory of information processing in developing the metacognition skills and the increase of the achievement in geography. 3. The benefit from the theory of information processing and the strategy in teaching natural geography for the stage. The researcher recommends : 1. The necessity of making benefit of the information processing and the strategy in teaching natural geography for the stage. 2. Organizing courses training for the teachers of geography about how to depend on the information processing. In completion of the study the researcher suggests a number of suggestions : 1. Making a similar study about other variables like gender and the stage. 2. Making a comparison between the metacognitive skills and the other skills

Abstract: يرمي هذا البحث الى تقويم اداء مدرسي الجغرافية للمرحلة المتوسطة على وفق كفايات المدرس الفعال. ولتحقيق هدف البحث اتبعت الباحثة اجراءات المنهج الوصفي المتمثلة باختيار عينة البحث اذ شملت (106) مدرسا ومدرسة لمادة الجغرافية في المرحلة المتوسطة وبنسبة (5%) من مج | The aim of the present study is to evaluate the performance of intermediate school geography teachers according to the efficiencies of the effective teacher. To achieve this aim, the researcher has followed the descriptive research methods by selecting the research sample, male and female geography teachers (106). They form (5%) of the total research population consisting of males (647) and females (1487). They are geography teachers from intermediate schools affiliated to Baghdad directorates of Iraq Ministry of Education. Then, the researcher has made a checklist of the teaching efficiencies of the effective teacher of geography. It includes (42) efficiencies within (4) areas. The validity of the list items has been ensured by a jury of experts in the fields of teaching methodology and measurement and evaluation. The checklist has been used by the researcher when observing the research sample within a period of time extending from 1 December 2015 to 15 March 2016. Inter - rater reliability is established and the degree of agreement is (0.83), (0.81), (0.76), (0.88). For data analysis, the following methods are used : the Fisher formula and Chi - square. The results are as follows : out of (42) efficiencies, (33) are used. The researcher has explained the reasons why (9) efficiencies are not used.Conclusions : 1 - The male and female teachers of Geography have a level of the effective teacher efficiencies that is acceptable according to the educational standards. 2 - The female teachers of Geography have a level of the effective teacher efficiencies higher than that of the male teachers. Recommendations : 1 - It is necessary for the male and female teachers of Geography at the intermediate schools to pay attention to the practical aspects and skills when teaching Geography by using models of instruments and maps and drawing maps.2 - It is necessary for the Ministry of Education to organize courses on the effective teaching efficiencies for the Geography teachers. Suggestions : 1 - Studying the evaluation of the effective teaching efficiencies for the Geography teachers from the perspectives of the Geography supervisors or the school principals. 2 - Studying the effective teaching efficiencies for the Geography teachers in other educational stages.

The researcher rewarded students between the two sets of research in a number of variables that have an impact on the results of an experiment (age in months , the collection of parents , a year earlier grades, test the previous information in the geographical material, Raven test of intelligence ). And he studied the researcher herself students two sets of search after it identified a material learning , the first three chapters of the book of the general geographical principles , have been identified (15) concept , in light of that drafted the researcher behavioral objectives and numbered (45) goal , and presented to a group of arbitrators and specialists and, in the light of the opinions necessary adjustments conducted. For the purpose of measuring the acquisition of geographical concepts in the subject of the general geographical Principles for the students of the two sets of research in the subjects studied by the researcher , it prepared a test for it , as it consisted of a single question, multiple choice , and reached the number of paragraphs (45 ) items , and confirmed his sincerity and persistence and the coefficient of difficulty the discriminatory power of the paragraphs and effectiveness of false alternatives , and presented to a group of arbitrators , and applied the test on the sample after the completion of the experiment research It was through the use of data analysis ( coefficient of difficulty , discrimination coefficient, effective alternatives , T - Test test for two independent samples , Spearman Brown formula , Pearson ) correlation coefficient , study resulted in the following result Higher than students who experimental group studied Bonmozj constructivist learning, the students of the control group who studied traditional way, if it reaches the arithmetic mean experimental group (25.454) in while the arithmetic mean of the control group (20.878), at the significance level (0.05) in the post - test, and this It means that students who studied the specimen constructivist learning the best in the acquisition of geographical concepts of the students who was their teaching in the traditional manner. To ascertain its effectiveness, two zero hypotheses were formulated : - There is no difference of statistics at the level of 0.05 between the mean scores of experimental group students who were taught according to epistemological sample the mean score of the control group who were taught according no normal method in achievement test. - There is no difference of statistics at the level of 0.05 between the mean scores of experimental group students who were taught according to epistemological sample the mean score of the control group who were taught according no normal method in systematic thinking.In order to achieve that, the researcher depended on the partial adjustment to which is the (two equivalent group design), because it is the suitable design for application of the study. The researcher has chosen the purposeful method in selecting the sample of students from the first grade students of Al - Fajr Al - Jadeed affiliated to the Directorate General of Baghdad Education \ Rusafa III for the academic year (2014/2015), to apply his experiment. The sample was made up of (70) students as (36) for the experimental group students who were taught according to epistemological sample and (34) for the control group who were taught according no normal method. The researcher matched the two groups in terms of : age in months, intelligence level, scores of geography for the previous academic year, previous knowledge, parents’ achievement and the achievement in pretest of systematic thinking The researcher determined the scientific material to be taught which includes all the chapters of the book of Principle Geography to be learned for the academic year (2014/2015). In the light of the general objectives of the book, the researcher formulated 226 behavioral objectives to measure the four first levels of Bloom’s Classification (knowledge, understanding, application and analysis). The researcher prepared teaching units as 12 teaching units. The two tools of the study include achievement test which is comprised of (65) items including 60 objective items distributed equally among (multiple choice, true and false, complete the phrases) as (20) items for each type, and 95) essay items to measure the four first levels of Bloom’s Classification. The apparent validity (the apparent and the content), the discriminatory power, and the difficulty coefficient were ascertained, either by Alpha Cronbach which attained (%83) which is a good coefficient. The second tool is the systematic thinking test which was prepared by the researcher and displayed to the judges and experts and acquired (%80) after amendment that includes (94) items. The apparent validity, the discriminatory power, and the difficulty coefficient were ascertained. Its constancy was derived by Cronbach’sAlpha equation which attained (0.86) which is a good. The researcher taught the two groups himself. The application of the experiment lasted for one academic year 2014/2015. At the end of the experiment a test of the achievement posttest was applied on Wednesday 8/4/2015 and then applied the posttest of through Wednesday 15/4/2015 on the two groups.By the use of the t - test for the two independent samples, the researcher resulted in the following : - There is statistics difference at the level of 0.05 in the achievement of the experimental and control groups in geography for the experimental group students who were taught according to epistemological sample according to the systems course. - There is statistics difference at the level of 0.05 in the systematic thinking test between the experimental and control groups in geography for the experimental group students who were taught according to epistemological sample according to the systems course. In the light of the results, the researcher comes up to the following findings : 1 - Teaching according to the systems course helps to organize the students’ thinking and thinking their roles scientifically through linking their thoughts and employing them in mental schemata.2 - Teaching according to the systems course helps to training and tame the student’s mind on the two processes of construction and analysis which are basic processes in the systematic thinking.The researcher recommends the following : 1 - The necessity of training teachers of the principals of the General Geography on the modern teaching strategies and models based on the systems course. 2 - Encouraging teachers to care for the teaching of thinking in general, and systematic thinking in particular as a mental activity that helps to move for learning to application. Abstract: يهدف هذا البحث الى التعرف على " فاعلية استراتيجية دوائر المفهوم في اكتساب المفاهيم الجغرافية لدى طالبات الصف الخامس الادبي " , ولغرض التحقق من هدف البحث صاغت الباحثة الفرضية الصفرية الاتية : - • لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة احصائية عند مستوى دلالة (05,0) بين متو | This research aims to identify “activity of the strategy of the concept’s circles in acquiring the geographical concepts for the literary fifth’s female students”.For the purpose of investigating this aim, the following null hypothesis has been formulated : 1 - There is no statistical significant difference at the level of significance (0, 05) between the average score for female students who are studying literary fifth according to the usual method of testing the acquisition of geographical concepts.To validate this hypothesis, the researcher conducted experiment lasted an entire semester. The following procedures have been adopted : the experimental method (with a partial adjustment) has been followed for two equal groups one experimental and the other controller, that is a post - test group to gain geographical concepts, This research was limited to female students of the fifth class in the literary branch in one junior high school belonging to the Directorate of Education of Babylon. A randomly sample has been chosen (secondary Taliaa school for girls), which is distributed between two studying groups, group (A) is represented the experimental which is studied according to the strategy of concepts’ circles, and group (B) is represented the controller which is studied according the usual method. The two groups of research was rewarded in some of the variables that might have an impact in the independent variable : the chronological age calculated in months, the scores of students in geography in the mid - year exam,choose the previous information in the article geographical and IQ test, and the academic achievement of the parents. As well as adjust the other variables for the safety of the research. Noting that the researcher has taught the two groups of research and identified the scientific material for the last three units (the fourth, fifth and sixth) of the Natural Geographical Book scheduled to fifth class literary branch for the year 2013 - 2014, as identified purposes behavioral cognitive domain and numbered (177) purpose behaviorally, also the lesson plans for two groups of research (experimental and controller) have been prepared. As for the research tools, the researcher has prepared a test to gain the concepts of (60) items of multi - test type which was presented to the Committee of Experts. The experiment has been applied in the second semester of the academic year (2013 - 2014). It has begun on Sunday (02/16/2014) and ended on Sunday (04/05/2014). And to get the results the data were processing statistically using the t - test for two independent samples, and the results showed the following : There is no statistical significant difference at the level of significance (0,05)in favor of the experimental group as its students who have been taught according to the strategy of concept’s circles outperformed on students of the controller group who have been taught according to the usual method in testing the acquisition of the geographical conceptsand thus null hypothesis of the research was rejected the Search.In light of the results the researcher reached a number of conclusions : 1 - Using the strategy concept’s circles in teaching geography has a role in raising the scientific level of the students.2 - Upheld the findings of the literature in making the student the focus of the educational process, from her the process begins and ends.In light of that the researcher puts a number of recommendations relating to search results : 1 - The necessity of using the strategy concept’s circles in teaching geography for different educational levels as primary and intermediate.2 - Work on the training the teaching faculty members during the service on how to use modern teaching strategies, including the strategy concept’s circles.3 - Necessity of benefiting of the results of this study and to move away from traditional teaching methods in the teaching topics of the Natural Geographical Book to fifth class literary branch.Complementing to the aspects of the research, the researcher has suggested the following : 1 - Doing a study similar to the current one on other educational classes in Geography. 2 - Doing a study to identify on the effect of the strategy concept’s circles in developing other relating variables. 3 - Doing a research to identify the activity of (the strategy concept’s circles) in Geography in other variables.

These changes are connected with the rapid flow of Information and huge possibilities to treat with them. The Educational process tried to make use of these changes and products. The Computer is one of these prodects. Thus the experts of Education pay agreat attention to use the Computer in developing Teaching Learning process. For these reasons, the Researcher tried to develop Geographical Skills of her students by using the Computer in Teaching because she thougth that this Technique will reduce or finish the weakness of her studentes. Therefor, She prepared Instructional programme for illustration in Teaching. The present research aims at knowing the effectiveness of Utilizing the Computer in Development some geographical Skills of female students in the first class of Intermediate Stage by using two hypothesis : 1 - There are not any significant differences (at level 0.05) in the achievement scores mean between Femal students of the experimental group who were taught principles of General Geography according to the Computer Technique and the other group who were taught by using the traditional method in Skills final test. 2 - There are not any significant differences (at level 0.05) in the achievement scores mean between Female students of the experimental group who were taught principles of General Geography according to the Computer Technique and the other group who were taugth by using the traditional method in geographical information final test. AL - Hurriya Secondary school for girls in Baqubah in the center of Diyala governorate was Selected as asample for this Research. The Sample was consisted of (57) female students. The Research distributed the sample in to two groups, experimental and controlled. The researcher made an equivalence between the groups in the factors of achievement of last year, the achievement of mid year test of the present year, age measured in months, and the level of geographical Skills. After preparing All Requirements of the Reseach, the experiment was applied in the second term of the Academic year 2003 - 2004 in 21/2/2004. The Researcher taught the two groups by her self and made two tests, one of them Connected with Skills includes (6) questions. Each question includes (5) items of multiple choice in addition to test of geographical Skills befor beginning of the experiment. To find out Validity, Reliability, Effectiveness of the alternatives, discrimination, many statistical equations were used in this Research. The period of the experiment was (7) weeks. The results have shown that there is statistically difference in the achievement score means between the two groups in favour of experimental groups in both test. Therefore, the Zero hypothesis was Rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. In the light of the findings of the research, the Researcher has concluded that using computer in Teaching geographical Skills will develop geographical skills and achievement of students. Consequently, the researcher recommends to use computer in teaching geography and to teach students in colleges of Education and Teachers how use computer in preparing Teaching programmes. In order to complete and develop the current study, the researcher suggests to conduct further studies on other subjects in other classes.

Because of the developing the sciences; such as, - recent technology, especially, economy sociology, education,, educational methods and teaching the concepts in the studying lessons. - Many of the educational scientists considered teaching; one of the essential bases of good comprehension for scientific subjects and social subjects, especially Geography.The researcher observed by his educational experience that many geographical concepts, still not clear, in spite of moving the students for higher educational stages for this, the importance of 'this research has been appeared through the concentration of teaching concepts exactly, by the educative thinking which the researcher had adopted it.The research aimed to know "The effect of using "Hilda Taba modula in acquiring the geographical concepts and comprehend geography from the second stage students in intermediate school'" According achieving these two hypo.theses : - 1 - There is no statistical different at meaning range (0.05) in the medium degrees of acquiring the geographical concepts, between the experimental studying group according to the traditional procedure.2 - There is no statistical different at meaning range (0.05) in the medium degrees of tendency towards geography between the experimental studying group according to "Hilda Taba Modula" and the checking group students according to the traditional procedure. The searcher chose ''Tariq Bin Ziyad" intermediate school in AL - Tahreer Q, Ba'aquba city.To achieve his experiment, he followed partial checking experiment design, (experimental group and checking group and further test". The research sample is (62) pupils, (31) for one group, then the researcher made the differences' evaluation in "age, Intelligence, pre - knowledge, the educational degrees for the parents and the pupils'1 tendency towards the subject.By using (T - Test) for two separated samples and a chi - square". / The achieving of the experiment began in 23/2/2004 to 6/5/2004, the esearcher taught Ihe two groups, and made further test consisted on (40 items) a multi - pule choice item). To know the range of acquiring thegeographical concepts.He found the truth , difficulty element, qualification strength and 'the - activity of the false choices for every item.He found the firmness of the experiment by half partial method by using person connecting element and re - correct its firmness by Speriman - Brown equation it was (0.89).The researcher achieved the doubled test (T - test) on the two groups bythe truth and firmness by using re — testing procedure.The researcher practised the test in the end of the experimental in 5/5/2004 and the tendency measurement in 6/5/2004, The results had been analyzed statistically by using the doubled test (T - Test) for separated samples. The results had appeared statistical difference in medium degrees of : - 1 - The experimental group and the checking group, for the experimental benifet in acquiring the geographical concepts.2 - The experimental group and the checking group, for the experimental benifet in the tendency of geography.The researcher had presented some Deductions, Recommendations and Suggestions."The Research er” : - "Bassim Abdul - Jabbar Kadhim"
