Abstract: يعد الارشاد النفسي ركنا اساسيا لا يمكن للعملية التربوية والتعليمية ان تحقق اهدافها من دونه ولاهمية هذا الموضوع قام الباحث باجراء هذه الدراسة والتي كانت تهدف الى : ? التعرف على اتجاهات مديري المدارس الثانوية نحو الارشاد النفسي تبعا لمتغيري الجنس وعدد سنوات | The psychological Counseling are considered the corner stone without which the educational and instructional process cannot achieve its aims and The researcher has done this procedure because of the importance of psychological counseling and this study aims at : 1 - Identify the attitudes of secondary school headmasters towards psychological counseling according to gender and the years of employment.2 - Identify the styles of secondary school headmasters in school dealing according to gender and the years of employment.3 - Identify joint relationship between the attitudes towards psychological counseling and the styles of school dealing. In order to achieve the aims of the research , the researcher built tow standards , the first aims at knowing the directions of secondary school headmasters towards psychological counseling , and this standard includes (30) paragraphs , the second standard aims at knowing the styles of school dealing according to the headmasters , and this also includes (30) paragraphs. After checking the existence of the psychometric features in both of the standards ,such as honesty and stability and them apply them on a sample out of (170) headmasters from the secondary school headmasters whom they were already chosen randomly , and after collecting the forms and treating its data statistically by using a group of statistical devices such as and the T - test for one sample or two independent s parameter Pearson correlation and correlation coefficient Point Beiseraal ample and by using statistical bag for social sciences (SPSS) , the researcher achieved the following conclusions : * Having positive attitudes for secondary school headmasters towards psychological counseling , and the female headmasters are more positive than male headmasters. * There are no differences in attitudes of headmasters towards psychological counseling to the years of employment.* The three dealing styles (democratic , dominant and to leant) were used by the headmasters in their dealing with their inferiors , but the democratic styles was mostly used , and the female headmasters used the dominant styles more than the male headmasters.* The none existence of distinction in school dealing styles according to the headmasters attributed for the years of employment.* There is a weak and positive relationship between the direction towards psychological counseling and the other styles of democratic and dominant , and there is a negative relationship with the to leant styles. In light of the findings of the current research, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and proposals.

Success of the educational instructional process depended on what educational instructor enjoined with skills and abilities and necessary qualifications that he distinguished to perform his instructional tasks, he bears responsibility of direction and instruction students and contributes in solving their problems and help them to compromise with school environment for achieving their needs by accepted method, the instructional work is a man work need instructor to be loyal, security and awareness with himself , he have mind that influenced in many aspects of his characters and most important his self that have types of mind representation about, some of them is real of situation aimed at them and others should be on, the matter that lead to different kinds of contradictions in ideas influenced in performing self in general , and appreciation for stand especially and according to kind of contradiction , based on this , recent research aimed to know : 1 - Instructional responsibility for instructors. 2 - Moral commitment in instructors. 3 - Normal rules on self in instructors. 4 - Relation among instructional responsibility, moral commitment and normal rules on self according to variables of sex and service period. The recent research determined by educational instructors in six Baghdad Governorate and according to both variables ( sex, service period ) , and achieving to aims of the recent research , the researcher made instructional responsibility measurement according to Rogers theoretical framework 1961, consist of (32) items with its final form, I verified from liability and researcher also made the moral commitment measurements according to Carol Gilligan theory 1982 that consist of (30) items with its final form and verified from its liability , also she made normal rules measurement consist of (43) item with its final form, and researcher verified of its liability. Then researcher apply the three measurements on symbol of research (400) researchers , male and female and have been chosen by random class way and the following statistical means used the second test, Person relation coefficient , Kronbakh - Alfa coefficient , Z test, various fall analysis. According to aims of research, I reached to the following results : 1 - Educational instructors have instruction responsibility with over middle.2 - Instructors have high moral commitment. 3 - Instructors have normal rules on self.4 - There are differences in the personal responsibility according to variable of sex for favor of females and also for service for favor of middle group (10 - 19). 5 - There are differences in the national responsibility and its relation with moral commitment depended on sex variable and for favor of females.6 - Relation among variables of research correlated with them and has interchangeable and different influence. Accordingly, a mental ability Test consisting of (70) items has been constructed , Whose suitability and validity have been found by exposing it on agroup of experts Who have agreed on Eliminating whereas the rtest (70) items of the test have been considered Suitable to measure the mental ability. After this procedure , the test has been Computerized by Applying the Visual Csharp.Net Programme. Then the Test has been applied on (250) male and fewle University students selected by the Stratified random Sampling procedure from the University of Baghdad. The Statistical Analysis has based on Rasch's Model as the being one of the items of the test. The blow steps have been verified to achive Rasch`s Model assumptions : 1. Uni - dimensionality : It has been achieved by applying the Factorial analysis in order to avoid any probability of not getting used to take such test by the study sample Which affects later on the Factorial construction of the test that considers the Factor statistically significant when the I gem that could be explained equals or more than (1). The saturation ratio of the test items by the general factor is(30%) up depending on Guilford`s norm, therefore, no item has been eliminated from the test. 2.The correlation between The item and The total score of the component ;To achieve this assumption ,the Point - Biserial correlation coefficient has been calculated in analysing the test items. 3. Matching the items with the Model ; It is achieved depending on the Chi - square value on a level of significance of (0,05) as computed by the programme. 4. The approaching of the discriminating coefficient value of the test to (1) where it has been found to be (0,624).5. Measuring Independence where it is achieved to verify objectivity of measuring represented by Rasch`s Model, Consequently, no item has been eliminated from the test. Standardizing the imagination test and deriving norms for it. - Identifying level of mental imagination of urtiversity students according to the variables of sex and specialization •To achieve the research aims the researcher chose the sample ·f the research from Univetsities students by the random stratified ,ethod The sample includes (1004) male and feniale students from.aghdad. Mustansiryah and Technology Universities. By the random stratified method. The Reaserther the ental imagination test Construct on test the theory of ( NILE , 87) and on the classical theory in psyc)lological measurement •· e researcher adopted the self - report technique making the item cl. determined five alternatives for the test which give 4 , 3, 2, 1 , '\ ·arks.The test in its initial form consists of items distributed in eight fields tactile imagination , tasting imagination , smellingimagination , motor kmetic in : tagination visual imaginatiotJ a : ttd in : tagination hering visual imagination organic biological imagination •The test was introduced to several experts to ensute the validity of the items and their fields, and chi - square was used a$ astatistic method to identify the valid items. as aresult 82 items ere kept distributed on the eight fields • The test was then applied n the statistic al analysis sample which inchtded 500 male and emale students Item discrimination is calculated by using the two xtreme groups method , and item Validity coefficient by finding he correlatio11 - coefficient of each item with the total test score.ccotding to this procedure 70 items were kept distributed on the ight fields The researcher also used the relation ship between the · em score and the score to of the field which it belongs and found ttt the matrixe of correlations between the fields.The Psychometric features were verified represented in the dityand reliability of the test by use of face validity ,logical. 'dicy and construct v~dity. The reliabilicy was calculated by t w 'methods : two - way a : ttalysis of variance and test - retest ethod.The norms of the scores of the mental imagination test pie (which includes 1004 male and female stp.dents) were rived. Thus the percentile norn : ts were found out according to ·and specialization In the analysis of results and in the procedures of this research some statistical methods were used (such as chi - squate ,t - test for two independent samples ,two - way ANOVA Pearson correlation coeffient percentile ranks ,t - test for one sample )The research has arrived at constructing amental imagination test for university students and deriving percentile ranks for to make comparisons of two or more persons.The imagination level of university students has reached to the level of the theoretical mean of the test However ,the scientific specialization was superior to the humanities specialization in the imagination level.Finally in the light of the study finding t~e researcher has made some recommendations and suggestion.

Abstract: يهدف البحث الحالي الى اجراء مفاضلة بين اساليب انتقاء الفقرات الاختبارية لمقياس التحكم المدرك لدى طلبة الجامعة في الخصائص القياسية وفقا لنظرية المنحنى المميز للفقرة. وقد تم تحقيق هذا من خلال هدفين رئيسين. تمثل الهدف الاول في بناء ثلاث صور من مقياس التحك | The current research aimed to make a differentiation between selection test items for perceived control scale among university students in the standard characteristics according to theory of Characteristic item curve. This has been achieved through two Aims. The first Aim is to build three forms of perceived control scale according to three items selection test methods (method based on theoretical framework, method based on synthesis - logical and method based on factor analysis).The researcher followed scientific steps to achieve these aims, according to the theory of responding to item, starting with the first and second scale (theoretical and synthesis - logical) instructed of these items displayed on expert authorities in Educational and Psychological Sciences, to make sure that these items have appropriate characteristics availability of items scale and alternatives, in form and content, and that it describes the measured characteristic based on definition that was specified for each measure separately, and after making some necessary adjustments, all of two scales promised to measure what was good for in order to measure them. And to ensure the clarity of items and instructions to our research sample, and to determine the time required for performance, the two scales applied to pilot sample of (104 students) from outside statistical analysis sample, and appeared that all instructions and items of each scale were clear. In order to determine the standard characteristics of the two measures and there items, as well as verification of model assumptions, the scale was applied to a sample of (1,100 male and female students) from university students in morning studies in city of Baghdad, which they were selected in a random manner with proportional stratified random sample. The researcher adopted Rating Scale Model originating from a single - parametric model, using a statistical method called (ConstructMap.4.6), resulting in two scales contain (39 and 36) items respectively. And to build a third form for perceived control scale by factorial analysis method, the researcher translated two foreign scales and displayed to expert authorities in Educational and Psychological Sciences to show their opinion about items and alternatives, in terms of form and content, and appropriateness for the local environment, and in terms of classification for measured feature on the basis of the definition that was specified for each unit measured, and with some minor linguistic on two scales on a sample to account time and instructions clarity, and then two scales applied to the same research sample, collected data answers for four scales (theoretical scale and synthesis - logical scale and the two foreign scales) to analysis in a factorial analysis method by using statistical bag of Social Sciences ( SPSS), and to draw the third form of the scale and factorial analysis under controls of using this method, which had produced a scale consists of (60) items which adopted to appropriate assumptions to analysis model. With this the standard features have been identified, to all items and to total scale for the three images to measure perceived control, and using the same statistical method. The second aim was to make differential comparisons between these three forms for measure perceived control in standard characteristics. These procedures showed in accordance to comparisons as follow : Suitable for adjusted estimate for progressive answers in building perceived control scale. And then retained items and individuals that achieved the model assumptions, and overall items and scales had good standard characteristics. For a comparison between three scale forms, it started with (information function and standard error) which showed that all scale forms were close, and results did not showed wide differences between them. So the Tau coefficient of progressive answers difficulty values revealed that three scales forms were close, and there were no significant differences statistically between them after using Kroskal - Alice equation. For property of stability, results showed, that there was a convergence and divergence in this property also, For stability based on information function, and the separation between individuals, there was a convergence in all scale forms, but for the stability that based on calculates variance between expected and observed individuals responses, which calculated through the statistical method, the form of the factorial scale characterized by consistently was higher than other tow form scales. Results from reliability property showed that there was a convergence and divergence of this property, there was a convergence and uniformity in reliability property function represented by accuracy of estimation factor, and there were no statistically significant differences between the three forms of perceived control scale in accuracy of estimation factor based on characteristic test Function. While there were significant differences between forms of scale in sincerity of selection of behavioral scope which objectively interpreter by variance , as it shows there was a statistically significant differences in favor of higher variance ratio for scale of factorial forms of scale, which offers highest ratio of interpreter variance, followed by a theoretical scale and finally synthesis scale.In summary, researcher can judge by convergence of the three forms of scales in standard characteristics, for both items and overall scale. Despite appearance of some statistical differences in factorial method of some of standard characteristics in current research. But cannot resolve the priority by other test methods to prefer some items on another. According to current research results, the researcher reached some conclusions, recommendations and proposals

And the application of the scale individually, and for the use of this tool has the use of (7) the maze and to suit the age of the current study, and extracted the psychometric properties of the scale, it used two types of honesty : Virtual honesty and sincerity of construction, but the expense of reliability coefficient in the scale of current research, the researcher indices are : reliability coefficient adopted a manner that re - testing, reaching reliability coefficient (0.78), and the coefficient of consistency alpha Cranach way for internal consistency, as the value of consistency in this way (0.81). The research has concluded the following results : . The psychological counselor plays an important role in the achievement of the general educational goals by refining their personalities and helping them achieve and integrate their psychological, social, and mental growth.That is why the profession of counseling is regarded as one of the complicated jobs as it deals with human nature and with a wide slice of society e.g students.The current research aims at finding out : 1 - Reactive care of educational counselors according to gender, service duration, and specialization.2 - Ego flexibility of educational counselors according to gender, service duration, and specialization.3 - Empathy of educational counselors according to gender, service duration, and specialization.4 - The contribution of ego flexibility, empathy, gender, service duration, and specialization in reactive care. The study is limited to male and female counselors in the primary, intermediate, and preparatory schools of Baghdad governorate (Al - Karkh and Al - Rasafa), morning studies during the academic year 2015 - 2016.To achieve the aims of the current study, two scales are constructed by the researcher. The first is reactive care scale which consists of 40 items and the second is the ego flexibility scale which consists of 54 items. The validity and reliability of both scales are checked. With respect to empathy, the scale of Davis, 1983 is adopted which consists of 27 items. The validity and reliability of this scale are also checked.The three scales of the study are conducted on a sample of 400 male and female counselors who are randomly chosen. The data achieve is statistically manipulated by the methods of Pearson correlation, Chronpach coefficient, multiple regration analysis.In the light of the study aims, the results reveal the following : 1 - Educational counselors have an above - average level of reactive care as computed t - value is found to be higher than the tabulated one at 0.05 level of significance.2 - Educational counselors have an average level of the trait of ego flexibility as computed t - value is found to be higher than the tabulated value at 0.05 level of significance.3 - As compared to female counselors who have an average level of empathy, male counselors are found to lack empathy.4 - Ego flexibility variable contribute in the reactive care by a degree of 0.065. While the variable of empathy gender, service duration, and specialization are found to have no contribution in reactive care.In the light of the results achieved, a set of conclusions and recommendations, and suggestions are put forward

Among the statistical means which were used in the study "Q2 test, T - test for single sample, person connection factor, bilateral differences analysis". The results of curreuts study were : 1 - Both (malel - females) university students and in both scientific and humane specialties have clear psychological identity.2 - Dissertation sample individuals from both genders and in both scientific and humane specialty have good family coherence in general.3 - Both genders of university students and in both scientific and humane specialty did not have emotional experience.4 - The connectional relations between the psychological identity and family coherence, between the psychological identity and emotional experience, and between family coherence and emotional experiences were directly connected relations and positive statistically. The researcher used the style of counseling for reality to the scientist (William Clasr) with the experimental group, so the number of counseling sessions became (12) ones, and the time of each session got (45 minutes) in three times per week, while the controlling group was not exposed to any indicative style.The researcher had checked the veracity of the counseling program by submitting it to a group of specialists in the fields of psychological counseling and guidance programs.He used appropriate statistical methods in the current research, including : AL - Taia test for two independent samples - Pearson correlation plant - Alpha Chrome Bach - Mann - Whitney medium - sized samples - Chi square.The results of current research has proved that there are significant differences among the ranks of the experimental group and controling group in far - test, and in favor of the counseling program the researcher has got a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.

And showed the search results there are statistically significant to the level of first - among university students and in favor of the sample mean, and also there are differences between males and females the level of first - in favor of females, and also indicated the results and there is statistically significant to the level of motivation workmanship among university students, and in favor of the sample mean, and also no statistically significant differences between the males and females in the motivation and the interest of the female, and the results showed also on the enjoyment of university students external tuning center where the test samples t for sample one and there is a statistically significant difference between the theoretical average and arithmetic average of the sample, the difference for the benefit of the arithmetic average, and there is a correlation positive statistically significant between proactive and relationship (motivation workmanship and the center of the outer - set) and is a negative correlation between proactive and internal control center as well as to the motivation of workmanship, and the results showed an equal proportion of the contribution Tzhmha both the motivation and the workmanship center settings.Researcher some possible recommendations for destinations that can be learned and recommended that the current results of the research are : 1 - study of factors affecting the first - such as student oriented decision - making, and provide leadership and motivation, and responsibility.2 - provide the appropriate atmosphere to ensure the stability Gamahokhash with respect to students, as this is one of the important factors in ensuring that they have the motivation workmanship.3 - broaden the base of participation in the decision - making process at the university so that the participation of educational institutions and research centers, businessmen and those concernedAs well as the proposed establishment of some studies including : 1 - proactive motivation and its relationship with the workmanship and the locus of control to the junior high school students.2 - First - time management and its relationship with the university students.3 - Carry out a similar study of the current study, but at the level of the central region in Iraq.

The current research has strived to realizing the liaison correlations among skills of self - affirmation, the emotional Stability and the moral principles for the educational advisers in Baghdad governorate at the general directorate of educational in KARKH and RUSAFA, and of both general( male - female) and the research sample consisted of (300 ) of educational he/ she advisers chosen from the six general directorate of Education, and the results have revealed that the educational advisers of the current research sample enjoyed skills of self - affirmation, emotional equilibrium and in the moral values, the results have displayed also, that the period of service have been contrasted in the three variables, one for the short period and second for short period service, and third for the long period of service for each service separately. The results have proved that there is positive liaison correlation among the three variables of the research, skills of, self - affirmation, emotional equilibrium and the moral principles, and the current research has come up with anumber of recommendations and suggestions.

Abstract: حظي تاجيل الاشباع (Delay of Gratification) على انتباه قليل في مجال التعلم الاكاديمي، على الرغم من ارتباطه بمجموعة من المحددات الدافعية التي تشير الى الميول الدافعية لدى المتعلمين في المواقف الاكاديمية التي تمكنهم من تبني استجابات محددة تجاه بدائل الاشباع | Delay of gratification acquired little attention in academic learning field although it is related with several of motivate limits that indicates to motivate trends of the learners in academic attitudes which make them able to adopt certain towards immediate gratification substitution and delay substitution. This concept is considered one of the psychological and knowledge necessities that help the students to achieve and promote and achieve academic objectives. It is related to other variables such as personality traits and tendencies of achievement objectives.The present study aims at knowing the postponing of academic gratification and personality traits and the tendencies of the achievement objectives for the students of Baghdad University as well as knowing the range of contribution of each of personality traits tendencies of achievement objectives in delay of gratification of the students of Baghdad University. The researcher adopted the scale of postponing of academic gratification which is prepared by (Bembenutty and Karabenick 1998a) which she translated from English to Arabic.It includes (10) items distributed equally on two components (social academic gratification and nonsocial academic gratification) with four substitutions for the answers in addition using Cattell’s test for the sixteen factors (p.16) to measure personality traits. Four of the personality traits were used based on a summary picture adopted by the researcher (Al - Rubaye) which were distributed as the following enthusiasm against tranquility (13) items, boldness and dare against fear (12) items, self - trust against hope losing (13) items and experimentation against reserving (10) items. In addition building of a scale of the tendencies of the achievement objectives according to the quadruple model by (Pintrich & Schunk 1996) to measure the tendencies of the achievement objectives of the targeted group. The scale contains (50) in five scales distributed on four fields. The researcher made sure of the standard characteristics of the research tools by apply the scale on sample of (320) male and female students chosen by random class. Final application sample amounted to (500) students as (226) male students and (274) female students from Baghdad University who were chosen randomly. After applying the research tools and analyzing data the researcher concluded the following results : 1 - University students are characterized by instant gratification in performing their studying tasks. 2 - University students are characterized by traits of (boldness, self - confidence, experimentation and tranquility).3 - University students enjoy high capability of performing tasks by all the objective tendencies. 4 - There is a relation between postponing of academic gratification and personality traits for University students.5 - There is a relation between postponing of academic gratification and the tendencies of the achievement objectives for University students.6 - There is a relation between personality traits and the tendencies of the achievement objectives for University students.7 - The relation between the variables of this research are interactive among themselves and their influence is variable and exchangeable According to these results the researcher introduced the following conclusions : 1 - University students are characterized by instant gratification in performing their studying tasks.2 - University students are characterized by traits of (boldness, self - confidence, experimentation and tranquility).3 - University students enjoy high capability of performing tasks by all the objective tendencies. Also the researcher introduces several recommendations, the most important are : 1 - Encourage teaching staff in the university to make programs of training and educational instructions in studying rooms to invoke and train the students on delay of gratification and practice self - control.Also the importance of teaching the students how to develop their awareness of the future objectives to test positive and negative results that are related to their objectives.2 - Teaching staff members have to enroll the students in learning activities that increase their desire in academic delay of gratification and train the students how to overcome the distractions during studying their lessons, as well as how to face attractive instant substitutions to support their academic delay of gratification which lead to raise their studying performance.Also the researcher introduces some suggestions, the most important are : 1 - Studying the relation between academic delay of gratification and its motive elements and expose the best motive elements in predicting of academic delay of gratification.2 - Experimental study to research the relation between student preference to academic delay of gratification and their real behavior.

Abstract: The study aims to identify the relationship between visual selective attention and ( reflection / impulsivity ) cognitive style at University of Baghdad students ? the significant difference of these variables according to ( gender , major , class ) ? and to find out the extent of contribution of the cognitive style ( reflection / impulsivity ) in visual selective attention at University of Baghdad students.To achieve the aims of the study , two instruments have been used. The first one is the visual selective attention test which has been constructed by the researcher. While the second instrument is the Familiar Figures Matching test to measure ( reflection / impulsivity ) cognitive style.The two tests have been applied on a sample of ( 400 ) male and female students which has been selected through a random stratified method from University of Baghdad students in the academic year ( 2014 ــ 2015 ).After the application of the tests , the collected data has been analyzed statistically by the use of the following statistical means : chi ـ square , tـ test of one sample , three ways analysis of variance , pearson correlation coefficient , and multiple regression formula.The main findings of the study are : 1 - University of Baghdad students yield a good level in visual selective attention.2 - The number of reflective students is found to be ( 107 ) , of impulsive students is ( 81 ) , while the number of neutral students is ( 212 ).3 - There are statistical significant differences in visual selective attention in favour of the scientific major , while it is found that there are no statistical differences in this variable according to gender and class.4 - There are statistical significant differences in the cognitive style ( reflection / impulsivity ) according to the variables of major and class but there are no statistical significant differences in this cognitive style according to gender variable.5 - There is a statistical significant negative ( inverse ) correlational relationship between visual selective attention and the variable of error as regard to the reflective students and for the whole sample.6 - There is a statistical significant positive correlational relationship between visual selective attention and the variable of time for the whole sample.7 - For the reflective students , the variable of error contributes significantly in the difference of visual selective attention level which contributes in its effect more than the other variables.Relying on the above findings , the researcher has presented a set of recommendations and suggestions.

It develops with daily life situations since it is an important part of the individual comprehensive growth. The individual wants to show his/her healthy personality through emotion, the ersonality that achieves his/her healthy growth way in thoughts, opinions, behavior, and different emotions. These decide the personality characteristics and the ability to direct the thinking towards a specific target, decide the abilities level and the individual life style. Suppression is a strategy of emotional regulation that aims at diminishing or ending behavior of emotional expression both negative and positive. The literature shows that suppression loading the individual with negative effects on the psychological, mental and social aspects. The suppression may give the person feeling of release for short period but the suppression as a habit for emotional regulation destroys the health of the person in the future. Self - regulation is an individual awareness and his/her understanding of the work implementation and the ability to self - assessment regularly. According to Bandura, self - regulation is the individual ability to control his/her behavior. The individual becomes self - regulated when he/she has own thoughts concerning the suitable behavior that decides the right things to do. The present study aims at : 1. Finding out the extent of the university students emotional suppression.2. Comparing the means of the emotional suppression according to the sex and academic specification variables.3. The extent of self - regulation of university students.4. Comparing the means of the self - regulation according to the sex and academic specification variables.5. The relation of emotional suppression and self - regulation of the university students.6. The extent of contribution of the self - regulation fields in the university students' emotional suppression.In order to verify the aims of the study, the researcher constructs a self - regulation scale and adopts (Talib, 2013). The pilot study is implemented on a sample of (400) university students both humanities and scientific specifications to find out the validity and reliability of the scales.The scales are applied on a sample of (400) university students. After analyzing the data statistically, the results show that : 1. The university students have near the medium level of emotional suppression and higher than medium level of self - regulation.2. The emotional suppression concept and self - regulation concept are related in reversal relation, i.e. if the self - regulation increases, the emotional suppression decreases.3. There are no statistically significant differences in self - regulation of university students according to the sex and specification variables.According to the results different recommendations and suggestions are put forward

The Sample of the Research Consisted of (40) Students from the 4th grade science preparatory Students in the centre of Baghdad, This Sample was distributed into four groups, three groups of which was about (10) students they are called experimental groups, while the fourth group was the (control group) which consisted of (10) student too. This Sample was tested on (Balkease Paraportoty School for girls, (2014 - 2015). The Experimental Design was of a Partial set which is about designing a non - random control group with a pre - and post test. To achieve the goals of this research, the researcher built an assessment to assess students perserveance, which consisted of (40 item), (20) of those assess the mental side, while the other (20) assess the physical side, After extracting its consistency, integrity and discriminatory power for its points by using cay square and the relation of its points with the whole finale grade of the assessment. The reliability of the test was figured out by two ways which are reading the test and the partia distribution, thus, the reliability coefficient was (0.76) by using the first way, while it was (0.79) by using the second way. The researcher also adopted the assessment of achievement goals for the researcher (Sadik Khadim Jerew Al - Shimri) for the year (2011) and this is after extracting its integrity and consistency. Further more the Researcher also adopted the cross shapes for assessing the different mental capacity for (Jan Baskaloony), Which has been translated and prepared by the researchers Isa'ad - Al - Bana and Hamdi Al - Bana for the year (1990). Thus the Tools of the research became ready to prastige as pre and post assessments. Regarding to the Programme, the Researcher has prepared its activities and Procedures Depending on the theoritical framework for teaching thinking for "Debono" It Consisted of 18 training sessions, Before applying the programme, the equavielance between the three experiemental groups and the control group in the changements of (Intelligence, age , Mother's work, pre test) was done. The Achievement of the test took a month and a half starting from the 9th., of Nov. till 23rd of Dec. for 3 classes a week. The Results Showed the Following points : 1. The Students ownd the percervance touch which proves their percervance on facing the problems they go through. 2. Classifying Students according to their different levels mental capacity. Most of the students have an intermediate level of mental capacity, While the rest of the students are classified between having a high mental capacity and a low one. 3. There differences of statistical significance in the training programme for perseverance of different mental capacity students (High - Intermediate - Low) to guide the orientation of achievement goals (pre - test performance) for 4th grade science pre partory students. 4. There are differences of astatistical significance in the training programme for perseverance of different mental capacity (High - Intermediate - Low) to guide the orientation of achievement goals (pre - test performance) for 4th grade science Stusents. 5. The Unvalidity of the effectiveness of the training programme for perservance of different mental capacity (High - Intermediate - Low) in acievement goals (Mastery). 6. The effectiveness of the training programme for perseverance of different mental capacity (High - Intermediate - Low) in achievement goals (Performance) The Researcher came out with a set of different recommendation and to Suggestions.

The third Decision - making, which the researcher ever built and consists of (34) items The characteristics of psychometric from Validity, discriminating power, construction Validity , degree of the field with total degree of the Scale, and reliability in two ways test retest method, and internal consistency Alpha Cronbach method. The following statistic means were used : ( : (Chi - square test, one sample T - test, Two independent sample T - test, Alpha Cronbach Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, Two way analysis of variance with interaction, & Multiple Regression analysis). The current research found the following results : 1. Over excitabilities types dominance among students is the (emotional, imaginative, sensory, mental, motor), respectively.2. There are no differences in the Over excitabilities types in accordance with the variable sex (male, female), specialty school (Science, Humanist).3. self - organizing strategies dominance of the students are (surveillance, self - promotion, self - evaluation, planning, self - instruction), respectively.4. There are no differences in self - organizing strategies in accordance with the variable sex (male, female), specialty school (Science, Humanist).5. University students has a high level of Decision - making capacity.6. There is no doubt the series of wars left the Iraq with hard heritage that affected the social and psychological environment. Moreover, the accelerated events of the politics, economics and thoughtful life affected negatively the society and more specifically the university students. All the previously mentioned circumstances make the individual feels disappointment and refuses him\herself. furthermore, the bad expectations of the future, pessimistic thoughts, fear, and instability lead to the curving down the positive thinking and turned towards negative thinking. Accordingly the study problem can be stated as the following question : ( Are there correlation between self - insight and positive - negative thinking of university students?) The importance of the study based on the importance of the sample since the sample is represented by the youth and the university students. The youth ability of self - insight is an important challenge to change the society and turned from negative into positive thoughts. This study aims at : 1. Finding out the self - insight of university students.2. Finding out the differences in self - insight according to the gender and specification factors.3. Finding out the positive - negative thinking of the university students.4. Finding out the differences in positive - negative thinking according to the gender and specification factors.5. Finding out the correlated relationship between the self - insight and positive - negative thinking.6. Finding out the contribution of the negative - positive thinking fields on the self - insight. For verifying the aims of the study the following hypotheses are examined : 1. There are no significant statistical differences between the sample mean and hypothesized mean of the self insight scale.2. There are no significant statistical differences in self - insight according to the gender and specification factors.3. There are no significant statistical differences between the sample mean and hypothesized mean of the positive - negative thinking.4. There are no significant statistical differences in positive - negative according to the gender and specification factors.5. There are no correlated relationship between the self - insight and the positive - negative thinking.6. There is no any individual predicted field of positive - negative thinking contributed to the self - insight.The study sample of (450) students is selected according to the random stratified method. The researcher constructs two scales as study tools, one of them is an insight scale of (35)items and the another one is the positive - negative scale of (33) items. The tools are administered after finding out their psychometric characteristics.Several statistical tools are used to finding out the results such as : one sample T - test, analysis of variance, person correlation coefficient, and regression analysis.The results show that : 1. The students have self - insight.2. There are no differences in self - insight according to the gender and specification factors.3. The students have positive - negative thinking.4. There are no differences in positive - negative thinking according to the gender and specification factors.5. There is correlated relationship between the self - insight and positive - negative thinking.6. There is predicted relationship between the positive - negative thinking fields and self - insight represented by the directed thoughts towards the self.According to the results several recommendations and suggestions are put forwards.

The objectives of the present research to identify the following : 1. Trends of secondary school students about drug abuse. 2. Fears of secondary school students about drug abuse. 3. Psychological and social compatibility among secondary school students about drug abuse. 4. Differences statistically significant trends among secondary school students about substance abuse, depending on the variable sex (male / female). 5. Differences Statistically significant in the concerns of secondary school students according to gender (male / female). 6. Differences Statistically significant in psychological and social compatibility among secondary school students to the variable sex (male / female). 7. The extent of the contribution of the independent variables (fears of secondary school students and their agreement psychological and social) in the total variance of the dependent variable (attitudes towards drug abuse). The research identifies the students of the secondary school for the academic year (2012/2013) on both sides of the secondary school in Baghdad (Karkh and Rusafa), and the sample consisted of (300) male and female students by (183) males and (117) females. Has been applied three metrics are : 1. Scale attitudes towards drug abuse. (Prepared by the researcher). 2. Scale fears of drug abuse. (Prepared by the researcher). 3. Scale of psychological and social compatibility. (Been prepared to suit the current research). Achieved a researcher from the indicators of validity and reliability of the metrics used several statistical methods, including : 1. Samples t - test for two independent samples and one sample. 2. Pearson correlation coefficient. 3. Multiple regression analysis. The results of the research findings : 1. Trends moderate secondary school students about drug abuse. 2. Does not have secondary school students concerns about the misuse of drugs. 3. Found the presence of psychological and social consensus among secondary school students. 4. There are no differences in the trends of secondary school students about drug abuse. 5. There are no differences in the concerns about substance abuse among secondary school students according to gender (male / female). 6. There were no differences in the psychological and social compatibility among secondary school students towards the use of drugs. 7. The contribution of each of the independent variables (concerns secondary school students and their agreement psychological and social) in the total variance of the dependent variable (attitudes towards drug abuse among secondary school students).
