Hence the current research aims to identify : - 1 - Systemic intelligence among postgraduate students in the universities of the M idle Euphrates.2 - The significance of statistical differences in the systemic intelligence of postgraduate students according to the variables of gender (male - female) and for both specialization (scientific - human)3 - Personal vigilance among graduate students in the universities of the Middle Euphrates.4 - The significance of statistical differences in the personality of vigilance among postgraduate students according to the variables of gender (male - female) and for both specialization (scientific - human)5 - The correlation between the systemic intelligence and vigilance personality o f postgraduate students.The current research identifies the students of some of the universities of the Middle Euphrates government of both sexes for the academic year (2015 - 2016)In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher adopted the system intelligence scale for (Turmanin, 2012) after it was translated according to the scientific steps of Urbanization of standards and adapted to the Iraqi environment, and then was presented to a group of arbitrators to judge the validity of its paragraphs, , And excluded the paragraphs that do not measure the same concept through the force of discrimination and empirical analysis, and after the standard became the final form of the researcher applied to the basic research sample of (500) students and postgraduate students (Masters - PhD). They were selected in a simple random sample with a proportional distribution from the faculties of Karbala, Koufah , Babel and Qadisiyah) ).As for the measure of personal vigilance, the researcher built the measure of personal vigilance according to the theory of Oldham (1995), and then was presented to a group of arbitrators to judge the validity of paragraphs, and then extract the characteristics of the psychometric of his sincerity and stability, and excluded paragraphs that do not measure The same concept through the discriminatory force, and after the standard became the final form the researcher applied to the basic research sample of (500) students and postgraduate students.The researcher concluded that graduate students have a high level of systemic intelligence and are characterized by alert personality, and there is no correlation between the systemic and personal intelligence of vigilance according to statistical analysis.In the light of the results, the researcher made a number of recommendations and suggestions, as explained in chapter 4

Abstract: This study investigates The Effect of the Two Guidance Approaches "Guided Visualization" and "Re - imagination" in Reducing Daydreaming in the students of intermediate stage. It can be achieved through investigating the following hypotheses : ? There is no statistically significant difference on the level 5.05 between the averages of the scores of the students of the three groups : the first experimental group, the second experimental group, and the control group after the application of assessment instrument as in the following? There is no statistically significant difference between the averages of the scores of the students of the three groups : the first experimental group on which the guided visualization approach is applied; the second experimental group on which re - imagination approach was applied; and the control group which has never been exposed to guidance approach to assess daydreaming during the posttest.? There is no statistically significant difference between the averages of the scores of the pretest and posttest in the first experimental group on which guided visualization approach is applied in assessing daydreaming.? There is no statistically significant difference between the averages of the scores of the pretest and posttest in the second experimental group on which re - imagination approach is applied in assessing daydreaming.? There is no statistically significant difference between the averages of the scores of the pretest and posttest in the control group which has never been exposed to guidance approach to assess daydreaming.For the sake of ensuring the validity of the study hypotheses, the researcher implemented the model of two experimental groups and a control group with pretest and posttest. The study community included the students of 24 intermediate and secondary schools distributed on the Directory of Education in Diyala, Baquba Center. The number of students reached 7114. The sample of the study were the students of the second intermediate class. After that, 30 students of those who obtained high scores in above the virtual average on the scale of daydreams were chosen. Then, they were randomly distributed on the three groups. Each group had ten students. The three groups were equalized in some variables like the score in daydreams pretest, birth order, underachievement, student's job, losing parent(s), residence ownership.The first experimental group received a guidance program according to guided visualization approach according to Raimy's Theory of misconceptions. The second group received a guidance program according to re - imagination approach which is based on Meichenbaum's theory of cognitive behavior modification. The control group did not receive any guidance program.The researcher has built two scales use in the study : 1. Daydream scale which was made of 32 items distributed on the two sides of daydreams (positive and negative). The validity (face validity and construct validity) was ensured. The reliability of the scale was calculated by retesting and Cunbach formula alpha. The results were 0.87 and 0.82 respectively.2. Two guidance programs based on guided visualization and re - imagination approaches. They were conducted in 14 sessions, twice a week, for each program.For processing the data, the researcher used the following statistical aids (T - test for independent and related samples, Cunbach formula alpha, Person correlation coefficient, Chi square test, one - way analysis of variation, Mann - Whitney - U Test, and Wilcoxon test.The results of the study showed the affectivity of the two approaches in reducing daydreaming. In the light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the following : 1. Enlisting the program of the study in the curriculum of training and preparing educational guides due to its affectivity in detecting and correcting wrong conceptions, conventions, and thoughts.2. Utilizing the daydream scale prepared in the study.The researcher also proposed certain suggestions for further study : 1. Studying the effect of other guidance approaches in reducing daydreaming like Psychodrama, problem - solving, Neuro - linguistic programming, thought stop, desensitization, and psychological engineering.2. Studying the two guidance approaches, revisualization and re - imagination, in preparatory schools and comparing morning and evening classes of intermediate schools.

The ability to manage emotions is a basic skill to make positive and fruitful relations with others. For individuals to obtain this ability, they should learn from their early age how to manage them. Due to the importance of emotions management and its psychological impact on the sustainability of personal life, theorists have dealt with it in the field of psychological researches for it plays a vital role in the agreement between the counselor and his audience and colleagues. It helps in understanding the feelings of the self and the other in a mature way. It is an important factor in the stability of professional life especially for the counseling career which needs this skill.In the life of people, future does have a mental image structured in the light of what goals they plan for and ambitions they want to achieve. The loss or blurring of this image results in making the individual desperate and disappointed and can't carry on struggle and cope with life. Future time perspective plays a prominent role in forming future evaluations and perceptions. A successful individual is the one who is able to foresee the future through an ideal and unique mental vision of the future.Perceptions enable the educational counselor to forecast and clearly see what will happen in the future, then work on constructing a future educational strategy that is very important in increasing development in education and learning. This thesis aims at : 1. Measuring the degree of emotions management in educational counselors. 2. Knowing the significance of the differences in managing emotions according to the two variables of : a) Gender (males - females)b) Study specification (psychological guidance - psychology) 3. Measuring the degree of future perceptions in educational counselors.4. Knowing the significance of the differences in future perceptions according to the two variables of : c) Gender (males - females)d) Study specification (psychological guidance - psychology) 5. Knowing whether there exists a correlation between emotions management and future perceptions in educational counselors.The study sample is (150) male and female educational counselors in Basrah province in the academic year (2015 - 2016), they have been chosen randomly. The researcher adopted the correlative descriptive procedure for it is the most suitable for the nature of the study. For the research purposes, the researcher adopted the scale of (emotions management) prepared by (Salih, 2014), in its final version, the scale consisted of (36) items. Face validity and stability of the scale have been calculated, it obtained a (0.89) stability coefficient by test retest method. The researcher herself constructed a scale for (future perceptions), which consisted of (42) items in its final version. The items of the scale reflected three areas (general field, specific field, self field). The researcher checked the face validity, validity of construction and stability of the scale by taking the opinions of jury of experts. The scale obtained a (0.92) stability coefficient by test retest method. This value of the stability coefficient is considered to be good for the trusted degree of stability in the psychological scales is preferred to be higher than (70%). After subjecting the data to statistical analysis, the results showed the following : 1. The study sample has a higher level of emotions management than the hypothesized level. 2. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) according to the variable of gender (males - females) in emotions management.3. There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) according to the variable of study specification (psychological guidance - psychology) in emotions management.4. The study sample has a higher level of future perceptions than the hypothesized level. 5. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) according to the variable of gender (males - females) in future perceptions.6. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) according to the variable of study specification (psychological guidance - psychology) in future perceptions.7. There is a statistically significant positive correlative relationship at (0.05) between emotions management and future perceptions in educational counselors. The researcher has come up with a number of conclusions : there is a positive correlative relationship between the variables of the study (emotions management and future perceptions), which means that whenever the educational counselors' ability to manage their emotions increases their positive future perceptions increase too. An individual who is able to control his emotions and manage them his latent energy breaks out to draw a future picture and run for achieving it successfully. The researcher has come up with a number of recommendations : granting the counselors greater authorities, taking their perceptions, opinions, suggestions and plans to develop the counseling process into consideration, holding workshops for schools administrations to develop their awareness of the educational counselor's role. Building a counseling program to manage emotions for educational counselors whose specification is other than psychological guidance. Conducting other studies that tie the two variables of this study with variables like (alienation, leadership and disability) in a sample of educational counselors

The researcher sample consists of (465) male and female students of sixth stage preparatory schools in Basra (2014 - 2015) male and female students (scientific and literary). They have been chosen or literarily. The researcher follows the descriptive procedure. To achieve the goals of the research, the researcher bas adopted the (Normal - Neurotic perfectionism) scale in this study (Abdulnabi, 2009).The scale includes (44) items that fall in four parts in which it represents the first part - personal features which are divided into three dimensions : for individual to himself, from individual to others, and from others to individual. The second dimension is fear of failure and the third dimension is dissatisfaction. The fourth dimension is the feeling of miss confidence and deficiency. Face validity, construct validity and reliability of stability where the factor of stability is (0.81) according to testing and re testing. The researcher initiated the second tool which is the (psychological stress). The scale includes in its final shape (56) items that fall into seven parts : (domestic, learning, social, economical, neurotic and security). The researcher verifies the face validity of the scale by exposing it to a group of referees and construct validity and reliability where it gains (0.85)according to testing and retesting method. This factor is considered good in the sense that the normal factor should be more than (0.70). The results show that : 1. Research sample have a higher level than hypothetical average of normal - neurotic perfectionism.2. There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to sex variable(male - female) for the female side. 3. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to specialization (scientific - literary).4. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to location (city center - suburb). 5. Research sample have a higher level than hypothetical average of psychological stress.6. There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to sex variable(male - female) for the female side.7. There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to sex variable (scientific - literary) for the scientific side.8. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to location (city center - suburb).9. There found a positive statistical correlation at (0.05) between normal - neurotic perfectionism and psychological stress of research subjects. The researcher concludes that : The relationship between normal - neurotic perfectionism variable and the psychological stress variables indicates that there is a positive statistical correlation between this variables. Any increase in the perfection, is associated with increase in psychological stress. This encourages other researchers to study psychological and personal problem in heir future works. The researchers recommendations are : The necessity of taking care of students and providing them with psychological support through early support and productive help. That can assist in achieving a so of psychological balance to the students. With his ego. And with others. This leads to providing suitable environment that can build their personalities and make them effective in their societies. All these factors disrupt the life of the individual threatening his stability and security indicating a breakdown in the cultural perceives accompanied by the control of unstable emotions over our lives and the people who surround us. These factors leave the individual confused in front of these problems and pressures and powerless to solve these problems or agree with them. Therefore (Coleman) the American psychologist sees that the individuals who are able to solve these crises or consolidate with them are individuals with high emotional intelligence because the IQ alone doesn’t insure the success of the individual either in his career or his social life but rather needs contemplation, intellect and perception in a mixture that insures success in life. Thus, we must pay attention and care to prepare the college student to develop his emotional intelligence and carry out this role in life in a most successful way because the student is the foundation of the nation and a factor in its aspiration. Besides, we must encourage the college students to belong to the society and be in healthy accord with it y through conforming to the traditions and standards.Thus, the study aimed to achieve the following 1. Measure the emotional intelligence among university students. 2. Measure conformity among university students. 3. Expounding the relation between emotional intelligence and conformity. 4. Expounding the relation between emotional intelligence and conformity according to the following variables : gender (male/female), field of study (scientific/humanity), and study grade (first grade / fourth grade). 5. Expounding the differences in the relation between emotional intelligence and social conformity according to the following variables gender (male / female), field of study (scientific / humanity) and study grade (first grade / fourth grade) A random sample of (1100) male and female students from the 1st and 4th grade in scientific and humanity studies was selected. The students were distributed among (6) colleges in the University of Mosul. The researcher relayed on two scales namely the EI Scale (Al Nash 2005) and the (Social Conformity Scale (Al Asdi 2004 ). The quasi - validity of the scales was achieved by presenting them to a group of arbitraries while the validity and the differentiation capability of the scales were achieved by iteration of tests. The results were statistically significant and were treated by the SPSS package revealing the following results. 1. College students show high EI.2. College students show high social conformity.3. A statistical significant correlation exists between EI and social conformity. 4. A statistical significant correlation exists between emotional intelligence and conformity according to the following variables : gender (male/female), field of study (scientific/humanity), and study grade (first grade/fourth grade). The significance correlation was in favor for females, humanity studies, and 1st grade students. 5. A statistical significant difference exists between emotional intelligence and conformity according to the following variables : gender (male / female), field of study (scientific /humanity), and study grade (first grade / fourth grade). Stemming from the results, the researcher recommends the following 1. Establishing training and instructing courses to expound the importance of EI in our social life and in work.2. Emphasizing on noble commitment and conformity to social standards and norms among students. Besides, the researcher suggested the following : 1. Conducting similar studies to expound the relation of emotional intelligence with other variables including (social responsibility, self - esteem, and social interactions) for the same population or other. 2. Investigating the effect of the two training programs of self - management and social skills and identifying which one of them is more effective on developing the academic concept of the self for the sample under study. Thus , the hypotheses of the study are the following : 1. There are no statistically significant differences in the means between the scores of students of the second year and those of the fourth year on the scale of the academic concept of the self.2. There are no statistically significant differences in the means of the scores of males and those of the females students in the second and fourth classes on the scale of the academic concept the self.3. There are no statistically significant differences between the pre - measurement and the post - measurement for the first4. experimental group ( self - management ) on the scale of the academic concept of the self.5. To verify the hypptheses of the study ,the researcher followed the experimental approach of the two independent variables : Self - management and Social skills and the other related variable of the academic concept of the self. The sample of the study included( 39) female students in Dept.of psychological counseling and Educational Guidance who were divided into three groups : two as experimental and the third was a control. The procedures of the study are the following : 1.Designing the scale of the academic concept of the self and providing the psychological features of validity and consistency to obtain the face validity of the scale, differentiation validity and the internal symmetryof the items. Consistency was obtained by Alpha Cronbach method and it was (0,739).The final model of the scale was applied on a sample of (180) male and female students of the 2nd and 4th classes in the Dept.2.Designing two training programs : one of self - management and the other was of social skills. The researcher depended on the model of (Kent 1993) after developing it. The two training programs were applied on the two experimental groups : participants in the first group were trained on the self - management where as participants of the second group were trained on the social skills.The researcher used many statistical techniques in (SPSS) and as appropriate to the aims and hypotheses of the study. The results revealed the following : 1.There no statistically significant differences in the variable of the learning class on the scale of the academic concept of the self for students of the second year and those of the fourth year in significance level of( 0,05).2. There no statistically significant differences among the students in the scale of the academic concept of the self in the variable of sex for the students of the fourth year in significance level of( 0,05). whereas there are statistically significant differences in the scale of the academic concept of the self the variable of sex for students of the second year.3. There are statistically significant differences between the second experimental group ( self - management ) and the control group on the scale of the academic concept of the self in favour of the first experimental group.4. There are statistically significant differences between the second experimental group ( social skills ) and the control group on the scale of the academic concept of the self in favour of the second experimental group.5. There are statistically significant differences between the pre - test and the post - test of the first experimental group on the scale of the academic concept of the self and in favour of the post - test.6. It is proved that the two programs are efficient in training , besides the results show that the second program ( social skills ) is better according to the results of the one - way Anova analysis. On the light of the results of this study, the researcher recommended the following : 1.It is necessary to involve students in the various activities that aim to increase their practical skills and develop the skills required for the profession of educational guide.2. It is necessary educate the students about the importance of realizing their academic competence in the specialization that they choose.3. Abstract: يهدف البحث الى التعرف على فاعلية برنامج تدريبي في تنمية المهارات التربوية والادارية لمديري ومديرات المدارس المتوسطة في مدينة الموصل من خلال ما ياتي : • بناء اداة لقياس مستوى المهارات التربوية والادارية لمديري ومديرات المدارس المتوسطة في مدينة الموصل.• بن | The present research aims at knowing the effectiveness of a training program in improving the educational and administrative skills for the intermediate schools principles in the city of Mosul through the following : • Building up a tool to measure the educational and administrative skills of the principles of the intermediate schools in Mosul.• Building up a training program to improve the educational and administrative skills of the principles of the intermediate schools in Mosul.• Knowing the effectiveness of a training program to improve the educational and administrative skills of the principles of the intermediate schools in Mosul.To achieve that, the following assumptions are being verified : • There are no statistical distinctions among the medium scores of both the experimental and control groups in the post - test of the levels of the educational and administrative skills.• There are no statistical distinctions among the medium difference of the scores of the experimental and control groups in both the pre - test and post - test of the level of the educational and administrative skills. The study is confined by the samples chosen from the day - intermediate school principles in the city of Mosul for the years(2010 - 2011). It bases on investigating the experimental procedures and both the experimental and control groups are chosen for the pre - test and post - test. The sample is chosen on purpose employed from the intermediate schools principles in Mosul only, who have weakness in their educational and administrative skills (about 20 principles) and they are divided into : First, An experimental group consists of ten principles(male and female)Second, A control group which consists of ten principles (male and female) The equivalence is done between the two groups according to the variables which affect the educational and administrative skills. These variables are confined as follows : gender, employment years in instruction, years in administration, the level of education, specification, social state and the contribution in the administrative workshop. The training programmed to improve the educational and administrative skills consists of twelve meetings in ten hubs. The first hub deals with the educational guiding skills, the second tackles training and developing teachers, third, improving curriculum skills, fourth, the relationship with local society skills, fifth, evaluation skills, sixth, technical skills in management, seventh, human skills in management, eighth, the intellectual skills in management, ninth, communication skills and tenth, self skills. The program is applied for four hours a day every week. The application lasts in twelve weeks and it begins on 21st. ,Oct.,2010 and ends on 27th. Jan.,2o11. In addition, training styles are used during the application of the program including (lecture) style as a basic one besides, other training styles are used such as; discussion, studying state, role - play, papers and researches, a series of decisions contain training subjects and technical aids like, computer, data - show, boards, summaries and sources. The researcher depends on the questionnaire as a tool to measure the skills of the principles as well as to know the effectiveness of the training program. After achieving the validity and reliability of the tool, it is displayed to a committee of experts specified in administration and educational to show its competence. The coefficient is found by using half - division method. The questionnaire consists of (101) items distributed on two dimensions : • Educational dimension and administrative dimension.• Each one includes five spheres. The receipt reports are treated statistically using T - test. The results show that the effectiveness of the training programme in improving the educational and administrative skills of the intermediate schools principles; therefore, the two assumptions are rejected.According to the results that the researcher reaches, there are statistical distinctions in the benefit of the experimental group who submitted and administrative skills. The researcher presents several recommendations : • Opening a department of preparing intermediate schools principles in the College of Education named; ‘ Educational Administration and Planning Department’ in the sense ‘administration’ is ‘a scientific and artistic job’ needs specific preparations suitable for the educational and instructional process.• Encouraging to held annual meetings from the related faculty of the universities and specific supervisions in the Directorate of Education to discuss the professional and scientific needs of the principles to design, accordingly, suitable training programme.• Encouraging the principles to evaluate their skills and pay their attention to the teachers’ attitudes to find out the real necessities for the principles in their work. There are also several suggestions : • Comparative study of the effectiveness of a training programme in developing the principles’ skills using training - programme method in usual style with a training programme carried out by training - bag method.• Returning to implement the present programme on similar group of the school principles and knowing the effectiveness of using observation - field style i.e., visiting the principle in his work at least, for three months

To achieve the identity among teenagers is considered one of the important elements of identity development and its integration; therefore it is considered the base for the individual harmony between himself and his environment. Mental health is considered a great goal sought by individuals because of the modern life complexity and the diversity of pressures and their sources against the man of this age. Therefore it is required that the individual should be psychologically conformed through his reacting, mental and social fields in order to be able to make use of his abilities and potentialities to face life burdens. The present research aimed at answering the following questions : - What is the identity level among adolescence of second class (intermediate school) and fourth class (preparatory school)? - What is the mental health level among teenagers of second class (intermediate school) and fourth class (preparatory school)? - Are there any statistical differences in identity development among adolescence regarding age and sex? - Is there any statistical relation between identity development and mental health? - Is there a relation between identity and mental health with reference to the following variables : - a - Sex (Males - Females)?b - School class (14 - 16 years old)?The research is limited within the age between (14 - 16) years old for both males and females of the intermediate, preparatory and secondary schools at Nineveh Governorate Centre for the academic year 2005 - 2006.The research sample was selected in two stages, the first was by taking schools’ samples while the second was by checking students’ samples. A random selection of schools reach up to (20) schools, where (8) schools are on the right bank and (12) schools are on the left bank, while students sample covered (352) students (male and female). As for the two research methods, it has been selected the standard of identification prepared by (Mohammed 1995) which includes (53) items distributed in seven fields and three answer choices (agreed, partially agreed, not agreed), and Goldberg standard which includes (51) items in its final shape. The choices were five (always, most likely, sometimes, rarely, never). The researcher made in extraction of the truth and certainty of both standards and she used the following statistical means : - Person correlation module, ¬¬T test of one sample to test the difference between the theoretical average and the achieved average for both standards, and to analyze the variation to know the differences in identity development among the individuals of the sample and the T equation to test the indication of correlation between the two standards. The most important result that the researcher came up with : - It appeared to have real differences between calculated achieved averages and the hypothetical average of the module for the benefit of individuals’ research sample that scored grades over the hypothetic average. - By using the same analytical method through T test to two joint samples it became clear that the grades averages of psychological health among individuals of research sample were higher than the module of hypothetical average, i.e. the individual was statistical function. - The results of discrepancy analysis related to the third goal (identity development) the there is no statistical function differences among individuals of research sample regarding sex and school class. - The results of the fourth goal which is related to find out the relation between both standards indicated that there is no relation between identity standard and mental health among all sample individuals. - As for the fifth goal results they showed that there are no indicated differences in the correlation modules according to sex variation, if all correlation modules are not indicated, while there was a statistical correlation module between the two standards according to class variation in the second class (males & females) amounted (170) students. In the light of the results that the research came up with, the researcher presented several recommendations including the request from the school administrations and their teaching boards to guide and accustom the teenager to have the responsibility in addition to the necessity of applying mental and personal tests to find out the nature of mental heath among the teenagers.

The current study dealt with a vital age segment named childhood, which represent hope and precious wealth that nations depended on them in building a civilization and its existence, progression and advancement. Childhood is a part of the present and whole future. Many agree on the critical importance of emotional safety subject and the concentration on its development for pupils through guidance programmes, especially, guidance, behavioural, and cognitive programme which considered as efficient and modern one. The current study is aimed at : 1. Designing an emotional safety scale for fatherless pupils at primary schools.2. Measuring the emotional safety for fatherless pupils at primary schools.3. Measuring the rate of emotional safety prevalence for fatherless pupils at primary schools.4. Designing a guidance, behavioural, and cognitive programme in developing emotional safety for fatherless pupils at primary school.5. Identifying the impact of a guidance, behavioural, and cognitive programme in developing emotional safety for fatherless pupils at primary school by testify the following hypotheses : • There are no statistically significant differences in the developing emotional safety at the level (0.05) for the control group in pre - test and posttest. • There are no statistically significant differences in the developing emotional safety at the level (0.05) for the experimental group in pre - test and posttest. • There are no statistically significant differences in the development of emotional safety at the level (0.05) for the two groups (experimental and control groups ) in the post - test. To verify the above aims and hypotheses , the researcher adopted the experimental method and also used experimental design with a pretest and posttest. The sample of the study is selected intentionally, it consisted of (400) fatherless pupils in the fifth and sixth grade at primary school. The tool of study included designing emotional safety scale which were verified by its aims and psychometric characteristics. It also included designing a guidance, behavioural, and cognitive programme due to the calculation of the weighted mean and percentage. The needs, themes, activities, and strategies were identified in the guidance programme according to the Rutter's theory. The study sample consisted of (20) fatherless female pupils who received lower degrees from the hypothetical mean. The sample divided into two groups, experimental and control group, (10) pupils for each. The groups were selected from Al - Hudaybiyah school Al - Mustafa neighborhood and Democraty school in Al - Katoon neighborhood in Diyala province. The programme included (13) session as well as, the programme has been exposed experts in education and psychology to extract the validity of the program, and for data processing a number of statistical means are used, including : (Pearson correlation coefficient, chi square test, samples t - test for two independent samples, samples t - test for paired samples, one - way analysis of variance (ANOVA), weighted percentile, weighted mean, and statistical bag SPSS) for study results accessing , a number of results are concluded such as, • The pupils fatherless to have a sense of high emotional safety.• There are statistically significant differences in the level of emotional safety prevalence for fatherless pupils. • There are no statistically significant differences in the developing emotional safety at the level (0.05) for the control group in pre - test and posttest. • There are statistically significant differences in the developing emotional safety at the level (0.05) for the experimental group in pre - test and posttest. • There are no statistically significant differences in the development of emotional safety at the level (0.05) for the two groups (experimental and control groups ) in the post - test in favor of the experimental group. In light of the current results, the researcher presents a number of recommendations and suggestions, such as;• Benefiting by the educational guidance department at the Ministry of Education from the guidance programme which is prepared in present study and make it a part of curriculum for the training and practicing educational guides. • Using of the emotional safety scale by the researchers and guides and psychological guidance centers as a tool to find out the pupils who suffer from a lack of emotional safety feeling. It seems that the energy possessed by human to treat information is limited , thus , if an excessive number of sensory signals is imposed on us , or if we prescribed ourselves to treat an excessive quantity of events and information due to increasing of the mental load and the information we have. That Would lead to a clear deficit in the level of performance because of the increasing burden of mental and limited capacity information processing system. The university student acquires beliefs regarding ego resiliency through his / her mental performance in the learning situations he / she faces. whenever the level of ego resiliency rises the amount of effort exerted increases , and the level of the cognitive load subsequently decreases. Hence , several questions forming the problem of the study were raised , such as : Do the university students have a cognitive load ? , Do gender and specialization affect the cognitive load ? and is there a relationship between the cognitive load and ego resiliency among the university students ? Objectives of the study : The study aims to recognize : - The level of the cognitive load of the university students. - The significance of diffences in the cognitive load level of the university students according to two variables : gender ( males , females ) and specialization ( scientific , humanitarian ). - The ego resiliency of the university students. - The significance of differences in ego resiliency of the university students according to two variables : gender ( males , females ) and specialization ( scientific , humanitarian ). - The correlation between the cognitive load and ego resiliency among the university students. Data of the study : The data of the study is limited to 400 students for the morning study at University of Diyala. They are equally distributed according to the variable of gender from both scientific and humanitarian specializations. Tool of the study : Appropriate tool was constructed to measure the cognitive load and adopt the scale of ego resiliency for ( Nasir , 2007 ). The cognitive load tool consists of ( 13 ) situations , while Nasir tool consists of ( 31 ) items. The researcher found the face validity and construct validity for both tools and she verified their reliability. The coefficient of reliability for cognitive load reached ( 0.74 ) , while it reached ( 0.75 ) for ego resiliency and the discriminatory power was found for both tools. Results of the study : The study has concluded the following results : 1 - The university students have cognitive loads.2 - There are no statistically significant differences among the university students in the cognitive load level according to the variable of gender. 3 - There are statistically significant differences among the university students in the cognitive load level according to specialization for the benefit of scientific specialization. 4 - The university students have ego resiliency.5 - There are no statistically significant differences among the students in the ego resiliency level according to the variable of gender. 6 - There are statistically significant differences among the students in the ego resiliency level according to the variable of specialization for the benefit of humanitarian specialization. 7 - There is a negative relationship between the cognitive load and the ego resiliency. According to the study results and conclusions , the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions

The Goals of this thesis : 1. Building standard for the social extremism for secondary school students. 2. Measuring this social extremism for secondary school students. 3. Identifying the relationship between the social extremism and non - class activities for secondary school students.For achieving these goals, the researcher makes two standards , the first is to measure the social extremism and the second one to measure the participation of non - class activities for secondary stage students. These two standard are applied on the research sample which totally (600) student by random way from school of General directorate Education of Diyala distributed according to gender, residing and branch of study. After collecting date and treat them statistically by using T. Test for one sample and two independent samples and Pearson correlation coefficient the researcher concludes the following results : - 1. Getting a standard can be used to measure the social extremism by identifying indications of honest and stability.2. There is indicative level of social extremism for secondary stage students.3. There are no differences in social extremism for secondary stage students according to the variables of (gender - residing and branch )4. Getting a standard can used in measuring the participation in non - class activities for secondary stage students. 5. There is no indicative level of participation in non - class activities for secondary stage students. 6. There are no differences in participation in non - class activities for secondary school students according to the variables : gender, residing and branch. 7. Measuring safe attachment in primary school pupils from the mother's viewpoint.2. Gauging safe attachment in primary school pupils in accordance with sex variables (male - female).3. Examining social interaction in primary school pupils from the teacher's point of view.4. Weighing social interaction in primary school pupils in harmony with sex variables (male - female).5. Assessing the relation between safe attachment and social interaction in primary school pupils.The scope of the study is limited to primary school pupils (1st & 2nd stages) making use of the help of their mothers and teachers in the academic year 2013 - 2014.In order to achieve the goals of the study, the researcher espoused a safe attachment measure (Ahmed : 2011). The test validity is verified through exposing it to a group of experts who have proven its validity. The scale reliability is verified by means of re - testing forming a reliability coefficient of (0.82), which reflects a good reliability factor. In addition, the Alpha coefficient for internal consistency is applied which shows a reliability coefficient equal to (0.86) which is again mirrors sufficient stability.The researcher steered a social interaction scale consisting of four different axes, namely; communication expectation, recognizing and representing the role, and symbols of significance. The researcher proved the sincerity of the social interaction scale by forming its (43) items that are presented then to a group of experts who certified its validity after some modifications, bringing the total number of items to (30). The items are statistically analyzed by means of measuring the discriminatory power which showed that all items are distinctive and statistically significant. Also found is the relation of the item mark to the overall score. The scale stability is confirmed through re - testing as stability factor is (0.80) which is a sufficient coefficient. In addition, the Alpha coefficient for internal consistency is applied, resulting in a reliabilityfactor level of (0.86), which is a gain a good factor. Then the two scales are applied on a total sample of (400) primary school pupils (1st & 2nd stages) that is randomly selected. The study has come to the following results : 1. Primary school students carry safe attachment.2. There are no statistically significant differences between males and females in regard to the study variables (safe attachment and social interaction).3. The study sample members have social interaction.4. There is a positive correlation between safe attachment and social interaction in primary school pupils.After that the researcher provided a set of recommendations and suggestions.

In order to test the hypotheses, the researcher used the experimental design (two experimental groups and one control group of pre - posttest design). The research population included students at preparatory stage of (25) schools were distributed to The Directorate - General for Education in Diyala. The total number of students (8095), (30) were selected from secondary stage who received less marks from the hypothetical mean in personal maturity scale and distributed on three control groups, and two experimental in amount of 10 students in each group. An equivalence has been done among the three groups in some of the variables, namely, (the degrees of personal maturity scale, ego flexibility, psychological and social compatibility, sequence congenital, live with their parents or of one of them). Then , the researcher tried as possible to adjust some extraneous variables (non - experimental), which were deemed to affect the safety of the experiment which (the maturity, the time of the experiment, the place of the experiment, the sample identification, the person who carried out the experiment.... etc.). The first experimental group received a guidance programme according to the precognitive method, while, the second experimental group received a guidance programme according to the interaction integrative - interactive method, whereas the control didn't receive any guidance programme. The researcher has designed : 1. Personal maturity scale, as the initial form included (36) items distributed to the six areas (‏The sense of self - extension, the intimate relationships with others, self - acceptance, self - awareness of reality, self - objectivity, unified philosophy of life). After the scale has been exposed to the jury members and the statistical analysis for items were verifying, the scale validity has been achieved through the face validity. Also, the reliability has been achieved by test - retest which received (0.88), while the alpha coefficient for internal consistency received (0.81), so the final number of scale items was (27) items. 2. The researcher prepared a guidance programme for the precognition and interaction integrative - interactive. The programme consists of 14 guidance sessions in the amount of twice session per week for each method. According to data research processing, the researcher used statistical methods to achieve it, namely; (T - test for two independent samples, Factor analysis affirmative, Alpha - Cronbach formula, Pearson correlation coefficient, Chi - Square test, Kruskal - Wallis test. The current study results showed the effectiveness of the two cognitive guidance methods; precognition and interaction integrative - interactive in developing personal maturity among students at secondary stage. The researcher reached to a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.

Some critics, thinkers and professionals indicted schools of teaching pupils yielding and submission rather than the principles of thinking and creativity. Sociology scholars stated that the method of rewarding increases purity, repetition spontaneity or memorization but not encouraging fertility, productivity or creativity (Tartori&Qadhat, 2007 : 56). Moreover, Johns stated that creativity is not a singular gift enjoyed by a small group, but a collective ability in most of the people, it can be improved or suppressed prone to their individual abilities (Jabir, 1997 : 19).The study, which is entitled "The Effectivity of Scamper Training Program", aims at improving the creative abilities of elementary school female pupils via delineating the Scamper program. The method is verified through the following hypotheses : 1. There are no statistically significant differences on the level of (0.05) between the controlling group pupils' scoresin the pre and post tests on Torrance's scale of creative abilities.2. There are no statistically significant differences on the level of (0.05) between the experimental group pupils' scoresbefore and after applying the training program on Torrance's scale of creative abilities 3. There are no statistically significant differences on the level of (0.05) between the controlling and experimental group pupils' scores in the post testaccording to Torrance's scale of creative abilities Furthermore, so as to achieve the aim of the study and its hypotheses, the researcher chose two tools that are; Torrance scale of creative abilities and Scamper educational program that are both adapted by the researcher. Torrance's scale, in its final form, comprised of 3 different activities. The first score is considered according to the additions set by a pupil to the activity and the suitability of the title test to the form she sketched. In addition, the training program is adopted to assure the study hypotheses. Sample of the study composed of (20) fourth elementary female pupils who are randomly distributed into two groups; experimental and controlling, with (10) pupils each. The experimental group is exposed to Scamper program for (8) sessions in (5) weeks, while the controlling group is left unexposed to a program. For the sake of data processing, a variety of statistic tools are applied as; Chi square, arithmetic mean, Pearson correlation coefficient, the T - test for two independent samples, Mann Whitney Test and Wilcoxon Test.With regard to the achievements of the study, the following results are stated : 1. There are no statistically significant differences on the level of (0.05) between the controlling group pupils' scores in the pre and post tests on Torrance's scale of creative abilities.2. There are statistically significant differences on the level of (0.05) between the experimental group pupils' scoresin the pre - test after applying the training program and the post - test.3. There are statistically significant differences on the level of (0.05) between the controlling and experimental group pupils' scores after applying the program in favor of the experimental group.Results of the study show that Scamper educational training program if effective in improving the creative abilities of elementary school female pupils. The current research aims to revealthefollowing : 1 - measuring self - control among the students of the university. 2 - know the differences in self - control depending on the variable type (males - females). 3 - Measuring management of emotion among the students of the university. 4 - knowledge of the differences in the management of emotions depending on the variable type (male female). 5 - to know whether there is a relationship between self - control and manage emotions. Restricted to the limits of current research on the students of the University of Diyala in humanitarian and scientific colleges for the academic year 2013 - 2014 for the study of the morning. The research sample consisted of 600 male and female students. Has been building two measures (self - control) and (Department of emotions) The results of the current research as follows : 1. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in self - control. 2. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in the variable type and in favor ofmales. 3. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) administration feeling. 4. There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in the variable type and in favor ofmales 5. A positive relationship between self - control and manage emotions. In light of the results and conclusions of the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.

But the fixity accounted by two ways are : (re - test way, and the internal uniformity way with using of Alfa Kronbach equation). The data had treated statistically using the statistical case for the social sciences using the tools and statistical Person linking's coefficient and Alf Kronbach's Equation and the T - test for the linking coefficient and Kay square.The results showed that the current personality forms in the university students as a whole and for both sex and the specialists is the reconciler, and the favourite jobs are the researching jobs with the sample together as well as with the females and students of the humanitarian specialization, and the realizing jobs are the favourite jobs for the males sample in the scientific specialization as well as on student of the scientific specialization, while the social jobs were the favourit with male in the humanitarian specialization in addition to the females in both specializations. But the linking relationship between the forms and professional preferences, maybe sometimes have sense and then its sense disappeared according to the change, explaining that the acceptance system in the Iraqi universities is accept sometimes in the professional environment (social, factual, traditional, risk) where the system is not accept in two professional environment (artistic, and researching).The recommendations in the light of the results, the researcher presents some recommendations, one most important of them is benefit from the two scales for many aims, and on develop the other forms together and in equally form according to what demand by the value system, and make the acceptance system in Iraqi universities consider the scientific basis when accept the students in the specializations by depend a development ways and modern techniques and put a personal code in the identity card.As well as to present some scientific suggestions for the future researches

Hence the problem of current research in the necessary of using programs for metacognitiv strategies with the students of teacher's preparing institute training and effective utilization to become part of their ways of thinking which is reflected in a positive manner and conduct scientific research and education with children as the means of the transfer of knowledge and positive impact in the patterns of thinking among students as, it will contribute to the actively in the creation of new generations of arranged thinking and effective in solving the problems that face them and able to contribute to keep pace with scientific progress and knowledge. In order to achieve the goal of current research to know the impact of the metacognitiv strategies in problem solving with students of teacher preparing institute and according to the variable of sex the following assumptions were put : 1. There is no noticeable statistical differences between the average degree of the experimental group and control group average score in the post (subsequently) test to test problem - solving (heuristics, generate solutions, strategies)2. There are no noticeable statistical differences between the average degrees of the four groups in the difference between the previously and post tests to test problem - solving (heuristics, generate solutions, strategies).3. There are no noticeable statistical differences between the average degree of the Experimental group of Males and the average degree of the experimental group of females in the post test problems - solving (heuristics , generate solutions, strategies). Basic research sample consisted of (100) Male and female students from fourth classes teacher's preparing institute Experimental and Control are in the province of Kirkuk, they represent four research groups. Half males and half female, four sections ( 25) student female or student for each group was conducted parity between the four groups in the variables (age, intelligence, educational level of parents and previously reasoning test - generating solutions - strategies)Tests have been constructed to solve problems, they are : 1. Reasoning test and the final form is (38) item, apparent honesty and content validity and building have been extracted for it, and extracting reliability, with - test way and is (82%).2. Generate solutions test to be in final form of (15) item have been extracted and apparent validity and content validity and the coefficient constant was calculated in retesting to then reached to (84%) and with way alpha Kron Bach being (82%)3. Test Strategies are being final form of (30) item, and apparent validity and content validity had been extracted and construction, and reliability coefficient was calculated in the method of bringing the half retail to come to (84%) after correction equation of Spearman Brown.These tests were applied previously and re - test on the fourth groups. The two experimental groups, were submitted to the metacognitive strategies in the subject of educational Guidance by two classes per week for ten weeksThen treating the data by using the following statistical methods (Qai square ,te - test, Pearson correlation coefficient, analysis of variance ,and Duncan test for multiple contracting)The Results the research came up with are the following : 1 - The superiority of two experimental tests in test of problem - solving (heuristics - the generation of solutions - strategies)2 - There is no noticeable statistical differences according to the variable of sex (gender) between the two experimental groups.These results reflected the impact of the strategies programs metacognitive strategies in solving problems and in accordance with the results of research the researcher has formulated a set of recommendations, including : 1 - Training courses are conducted to increase capability of the teachers in using metacognitive strategies throw program to train the educational staffs during service.2 - Paying care attention the articles to the teacher's preparing institute used for the scientific subjects that describes the concept of metacognitive strategies and how it is used by teachers and students. Achieving the quality of life absolutely is something not at hand in the life and nature of humans. The quality of life is something relative. Nowadays, it is, for all countries, a national goal and an aim that is targeted by economic, political, social and educational systems of the world. The quality of life, in Iraq and the Arab Homeland, has been highly affected by wars and terrorist acts which left many martyrs and widowed many women and orphaned many children. Absence of security, stability, reconstruction, health welfare and the widespread of unemployment and pollution in Iraq have negatively impacted the personality of Iraqi people. Out of all this, the problem of the research has come into existence. It can be confined by the following question : what is the relationship between complex thinking and the quality of life in educational counselors?Importance of the research : Thinking is the source of knowledge and knowledge is the source of modifying human behavior. That's what makes human behavior different from that of animals which never changes or develops. As much as human knowledge grows bigger his attitude towards things changes and ways of benefitting from this knowledge change as well. Complex thinking can be considered as individual's most appropriate behavior as he invests it to develop his mental skills. Solving the problems that he faces requires him to acquire the skills of complex thinking that enable him to untie contrast, find harmony and reveal vagueness. The scientific way of thinking leads to solve the problem appropriately. That's why many researches, studies and specialized programs tackled the topic of thinking in all its types : critical thinking, creative thinking and super cognitive thinking. These types of thinking have been the subject of investigation in teachers, students, university professors and official employees in comparison with educational counselors. Nedrom (2003) believes that educational counselors play a vital role in supporting students, helping them to identify clear academic goals, putting educational plans, helping students to mix and cope with the educational environment, finding professional preferences. Goals of the research : This study aims at : 1. Measuring the degree of complex thinking in the research sample.2. Measuring the degree of the quality of life in the research sample.3. Knowing if there are statistically significant differences between complex thinking and quality of life in the research sample. This study is confined to a limited sample of educational counselors from both sexes (males and females) in primary and secondary schools in (Basrah, Di - Qar, Missan and Almuthana) in the academic year 2015 - 2016. The final research sample have been selected randomly, it included (278) male and female counselors from (Basrah, Di - Qar, Missan and Almuthana).In order to achieve the goals of the current study, the researcher has built a scale to measure complex thinking following Grown (1999), where psychometric properties have been identified through finding both sides of validity, i.e. face and content of the scale. The discriminatory power has also been extracted by applying the scale on a sample of (250) male and female counselors for discrimination purposes. The reliability of the scale has been calculated by means of using the test - retest procedure, it was (0.92), while it was (0.84) by using Cronbach's Alpha method for complex thinking scale. The researcher adopted the world health organization's scale of (1998) for quality of life. The data have been statistically analyzed by means of using SPSS Data Analysis Software. The study has arrived at the following results : 1. There are statistically significant differences in both (complex thinking and quality of life) for the sample of the study in comparison with the hypothetical means of these two variables.2. There is a statistically significant relationship in the individuals of the sample of the study in general between (complex thinking and quality of life).In the light of the results of the current study, the researcher recommends the following : *. Paying attention to the programs and activities that actively contribute in developing the degree of complex thinking and quality of their lives. and its in educational counselors.

The study also focuses on identifying the level of self - evaluation among secondary school students and showing the statistical differences according to gender (males and females). The sample included in this study comprises 400 students (males and females) in the secondary schools. Those are chosen according to the level of their study and randomly in Karbala (2015 - 2016). To accomplish the aims of this work, the researcher has done the following : 1. Making a measurement for studying bullying scale including seven branches. The researcher has checked its differentiation strength for its points and its psycho - metric measurement, working out its face validity and construction validity. Also, reliability is worked out via testing and retesting using Pearson correlation coefficient and Alpha Cronbach's equation. The scale in its final state is composed of 34 points distributed to several domains ( the domain of body, the verbal , social , sexual, racial, electronic domains and possessions). 2. Adopting the bullying self - evaluation (2011). The researcher has enquired about its discriminatory strength concerning its points and its psychometric properties. The validity is inspected via two ways : face validity and construction validity. The reliability is gotten via testing and retesting as well as using Alpha Cronbach's equation. The scale in its final state comprises 18 points suitable to measure the students' self - evaluation in the secondary schools. The researcher has applied the two scales to the sample of the study. After analyzing and treating the data statistically using the following statistical methods : T - test for one sample, T - test for two independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient, Chi - Square, T - test to test the correlation. The researcher has concluded the following : 1. There is an inconsiderable bullying behaviour among the secondary school students. 2. There are statistical differences in practicing bullying behaviour in relation to gender and on behalf of the males. 3. The secondary school students have a high self - evaluation.4. There are statistical differences among the secondary school students in relation to self - evaluation attributed to gender and on behalf of the males. 5. There is a weak relation with no statistical evidence between bullying and self - evaluation. The researcher has suggested and recommended a number of future studies concerning the bullying behaviour and its relation to self - evaluation.

The problem of the study can be summarized in the following question : "Is there sympathy in private and public school teachers towards their pupils?The aims of this study are limited to the following points : 1. Constructing a sympathy measurement for teachers in public and private schools towards their pupils. 2. Measuring the level of sympathy among the public and private school teachers. 3. Recognizing the differences of sympathy levels in those teachers according to the variant of class and type of education (public or private). 4. Identifying the differences in sympathy levels among those teachers according to the variant of gender (males or females). 5. Knowing the relationship between the sympathy level among the those teachers and the variant of educational background. 6. Recognizing the relationship between the sympathy level among those teachers according to the variant of age.7. Knowing the relationship between the sympathy level among those teachers according to the period of service in education. 8. Recognizing the relationship of sympathy level among them according to their marital status. 9. Identifying the differences in the sympathy levels in those teachers according to the variant of social condition (married, single, widower, divorced). 10. Identifying the differences in the sympathy levels among those teachers according to the variant of gender (males or females) and the type of classes (private or public). The sample of this study consists of 502 teachers selected randomly from 369 schools (private and public) in Basra. Concerning the theoretical framework of this research, the researcher exhibited a number of theories that explain sympathy, then the researcher exposed some studies written on this topic. The model adopted is made by Hoffman (1982) which sees sympathy as something related to the awareness of others' feelings, thoughts, his intentions, aims and self - evaluation. To accomplish the goals of this study, it is necessary to use a means of measuring sympathy. The researcher has constructed this measurement tool according to the scientific ways of making measurements. She gathered the points of measurements and showed them to a number of experts working in the field of psychological counseling and psychology. After getting acceptance for 45 items in, the researcher made this scale. After that, she get the discriminant validity for these items by getting the T - test. All these tests were perfect except for 10 items, and by getting SPSS through using two extreme groups, it is shown that all the items are consistent except 13 items. Thus, 31 items were obtained and thus the criterion was formed in its final state. In order to be sure about the reliability, it is measured by a number of ways such as half - split by suing the correlation factor between half - split reliability reaching (0.86) and correction by using Brown - Spearman's equation and measured via Cronbach's equation and the value of stability was (0.92). By using SPSS, the researcher has reached at the following results : 1. There are differences with statistical evidence between the sympathetic staff of teachers in both types of schools. 2. There are no statistical differences between the teachers towards their pupils in both types of schools. 3. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and gender. 4. There is a statistical relationship between sympathy and age of those teachers.5. There a statistical relation between sympathy and the period of service in teaching. 6. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and marital status. 7. There is a statistical relation between sympathy and the academic status towards the negativity. 8. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and the variant of social condition (married, single, widower, divorced).9. There are no evidential differences between sympathy and the social variant (private or public school). The researcher recommends the following : 1. Employing sympathy among male and female pupils via holding discussing sessions explaining the scope of their influence and their role in treating with the pupils and growing their sympathy. 2. Building schools for those who need special needs to make their teachers able to be sympathetic with them in correspondence with their individual needs. 3. Building new schools and visiting a number of classes within a single school to limit the number of pupils within the class to enable suitable sympathy.

Students of preparatory schools are included in this stage for they are required to have the lead of the society and its different domains. Those students may face a lot of psychological troubles that will affect their lifestyle negatively especially at the level of communication and interaction. There are two realizations of egocentrism. First, some of them believe that they are the center of others' attentions. Second, others make stories about themselves reflecting their belief in unrealistic thoughts without discussing their truth values, these, in turn, affect their personalities causing some troubles. During adolescence, there appears a positive side which is the shaping of self identity, and negatively how personal roles become unstable or scattered. During this stage of life, some ask about their being and what s/he will be. Accordingly, the individual will face an inner conflict of identifying the self. Those who have this symptom are suffering from self - unawareness in that the individual feels lost, dependent, ignorant. Thus, psychologists find it necessary to investigate about this matter. Thus, the main objective of this study is to investigate the egocentrism and the trouble of students' identity of preparatory school. It also tries to recognize the relative differences between males and females as far as this matter is concerned. It also focuses on the educational field differences, whether pure sciences or human sciences. Further, the study aims at identifying the correlative relation between egocentrism and student' personality crisis.To attain the objectives of the study, an equal and random number of students in preparatory schools is selected from the center of Basra (400 male and female students) of both fields of study. AThe researcher chose two instruments of analysis. The first one is to measure egocentrism and its psycho - metric features are attested (explicit honesty and structural one), and stability of the test is done via testing and retesting. Thus, the correlative factor reaches (0.82) following Cronbach's Alpha. The stability value gets (0.78). The second tool of analysis is the measurement of personality or identity crisis, its psycho - metric features are attested and its measurement stability is done via testing and retesting. The correlative factor gets (0.81) following Cronbach's Alpha, and the stability value gets (0.80) using the appropriate statistical means to achieve the purpose of this study. The main results of this study are : 1) The specimen did show the phenomenon of egocentrism and this can be attributed to this phenomenon is temporary occurring at a particular stage of life such as during adolescence, and during the passage of time, egocentrism abates via the teenagers' cooperation and interactions.2) There is an extreme positive and correlative relation between egocentrism and identity crisis. The researcher has recommended that cooperation and interaction should be encouraged especially between the teenagers and their parents and also their teachers. The researcher has also suggested that students at the intermediate level, who are suffering from egocentrism and how their parents treat them, should be investigated.

In spite of its being most important and offering great services in the different fields of life, internet entices users to spend long hours surfing the websites in an abusive way which negatively impacts them. One of the problems that man suffers from nowadays is the existential frustration which is resulted from feelings of emptiness, boredom and uselessness that hit the man in the different aspects of life. The muchness of psychological pressures, crises that struck the man and the dullness of the environment that surrounds him have the greatest impact on man to live a life that is free of meaning and values. The problem of the study is summarized in the answer to the following question : Is there any relationship between internet addiction and existential frustration in adults? The study gains its importance from the variables of internet addiction and existential frustration, the target sample of adults which makes a large population of the society. The importance also comes from finding the relationship between the two variables; where internet addiction might not be a separate disorder but a result of the individual's suffering of frustration. The study aims at knowing the following : 1. The level of internet addiction in a sample of adults. 2. The level of existential frustration in a sample of adults.3. The differences in the level of internet addiction in adults according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age)4. The differences in the level of existential frustration in adults according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age)5. The relationship between internet addiction and existential frustration in a sample of adults.The sample of the study included adults who are officially employed in the governmental institutes of education, higher education, health as well as those who are unemployed but officially registered in the social welfare institutes in Almuthana governorate in the year (2016). The number of the research sample is (400) adults who were chosen in a stratified random way. In order to achieve the goals of the research, the researcher built two scales to measure internet addiction and existential frustration whose items were chosen by reviewing literature and previous studies. The procedure of building the items was done practically, starting with assigning the fields, conducting reliability and validity and analysis of the items. After collecting the data and having it statistically analyzed by means of using SPSS Data Analysis Software, the researcher reached at the following results : 1. The research sample does not suffer from internet addiction.2. The research sample suffers from existential frustration.3. The unemployed use the internet more than the employed.4. Adults between 21 - 39 use the internet more than others.5. The unemployed between 21 - 39 use the internet more than others.6. There are no statistically significant differences between males and females in using the internet.7. There are no statistically significant differences in existential frustration according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age).8. There exists a weak correlation between internet addiction and existential frustration. In the light of these results, the researcher has come up with the following recommendations : 1. The ministries of the government should hold seminars and workshops for their employees to warn them of the dangers of internet addiction. There should be coordination with the ministry of higher education to provide specialized lecturers in psychological health and psychological therapy. 2. Eradicating unemployment by finding suitable job opportunities for youths to secure them from its dangers, such as frustration. The researcher suggested the following two future studies and researches : 1. Conducting a study about the pressures of life and its relation with internet addiction.2. Conducting a study about future thoughts and its relation with existential frustration.

Detection needs a suitable diagnostic instrument for Iraqi students, which the researcher found ' unavailable.That was the reason for conducting this research which has more than one purpose.The purposes of this study is : 1) Constructing an instrument to diagnose compulsive behavior in students of intermediate schools.2) Investigating the diflerences in compulsive behavior according to the following variables : a - Sex b - Grades in school c - Economical status. d - Birth order.This is to demonstrate if compulsive behavior is influenced by such variables and to answer the following questions : a - Are there any significant differences 111 compulsive behavior to sex di ffcrence?b - Are there any significant dif'ferences in compulsive behavior according to the students achievement in school? c - Are there any significant differences in co1npulsi behavior according to the students economical status?d - Are there any significant differences in co1npulsi behavior according to their birth order?Procedures : In order to construct the instrument, the compulsive behavi r was defined according to the classification of the Americ Psychiatric Association (DSM - IV), and the World Hea h Organization (ICD - 10), which are used by the colleges of medici ein the Arab countries. The instrument included six fields : 1. Cleanliness.2. Overemphasizing3. Order and tidiness.4. Counting and repetition.5. Superstition.6. Compulsory Sequence.Those fields produced (100) items.The items were logically analyzed by group of experts a ~specialists in psychiatry, psychology, and educational counselling..The items are then statistically analyzed so as to investiga ~ their validity, reliability and ability to differentiate between t opposite groups. As a result of the analysis, some invalid items we e put a way. So the number of ite1ns were reduced to (60). Fi erepeated items are then added to reveal the accuracy and seriousne $ of the respondents. This made the final version of the suggeste instrument to be composed of (65) items. Three alternatives wer 1 used to measure responses it each item (it happens to me : often iseldom, never).To check the validity of the instrument, the researcbe 1 depended on : 1. Face validity : by introducing the items for evaluation by experts in psychiatry and psychology.2. Validity of construct : through some indicators in the measure like differential ability (the ability of the item t distinguish between two opposite groups), and the intema ·structure ( by finding the relation of the item score to the tota : I score of the measure and the relation of the item score to th : axis score).3. Factor validity.4. Corresponding validity : by calculating the correlation coefficient of the present instrument and the measure o , Psychothenia and the measure of Obsession Compulsion which were 0.85, and 0.89 respectively.Consistency (reliability) of the instrument was calculate as follows : 1. Method of split in half by using Pearson Correlation : coefficient corrected by Spearman Brown. It was 0.93.2. Method of Test - Retest ,it was 0.85. Now, the instrument became ready for application and valid t measure compulsive behavior among adolescents. So it was applie on sample of 300 male and female students. And by statistically· analyzing the responses, the researcher arrived at the followin results : 1. Mean of scores of the sample (61.86) was higher than the hypothetical n1ean of the measure (60). But this difference was not significant on the level of significance of (0.05) and the degree of freedom of 299.2. Results of the differential analysis of the sex variable revealed significant differences between males and females and positively on the side of fe111ales on the total measure and on the five axes.3. There are significant differences in con1pulsion in the variable of econ0111ic level (high, n1iddle, and low) and positively on the side of the low level 4. There are significant differences concerning co111pulsion in the variable of the student's order among his brothers and sisters (only, first, iniddle, last) and positively on side of only and first.Among the recommendations of the study are thefQJlowi : 1g1. Employing the suggested instrument for the initial identification of con1pulsivc behavior in schools, psychological counselling centers, and psychiatry clinics.2. Employing the suggested instrument in career counselling because individuals with compulsive personality are fit for certain occupations.The researcher suggested further research to 1. Investigate the relation of con1pulsive behavior to other variables like place of residency (rural or urban), age, and the way of upbringing by parents. 2. B - There are differences of statistical indication among the ranks of the control group's marks concerning the pre and post exam.C - There are differences of statistical indication among the ranks of the experimental and control groups' marks concerning the pre and post test.In order to examine the research hypothesis, the researcher uses the experimental two - group design ( experimental group and control group for the pre and post test) to apply for the male old - age research community resident in Governmental Homes at Basra and Baghdad Provinces which number is (131) as per 15/02/2014. The research sample chosen consists of (100 old - age individuals) while the experiment sample consisting of (20 old - age individuals) who ranked marks higher than the hypothetical medium of the scale. Those last are distributed fairly into two groups (experimental group & control group). Equivalence between the two groups is made at some of variables such as (respondent grades on the existential anxiety scale, chronological age, length of residence period). The experimental group exposes to a counseling program in accordance with the opposite intent approach, while the control group does not receive any counseling program.For achieving the aim of the current research and testing its hypotheses, the following steps are made by the researcher : 1 - The construction of the existential anxiety scale of 42 items at five areas (Existential vacuum, the meaning of life, the meaning of death, the meaning of suffering, loss of social attribution). To verify the psychometric standards of the scale, it is important to verify the reliability of scale in terms of virtual reliability and the reliability of construction. As for stability measures, the researcher relies upon the re - test method as the reliability coefficient appears to be (0,83).2 - The construction of a counseling program on accordance with the opposite - intent approach, as the total program sessions are (14) counseling session presented as three sessions per week.In terms of the statistical procedures, a number of measures are employed including : ((Pearson correlation coefficient, two - independent - sample t - test, one - sample t - test, Mann Whitney test, and Wilcoxon test).Results of the current research show the following : 1 - There are differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to the experimental group in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale.2 - There are no differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to the control group in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale. 3 - There are differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to both experimental and control groups in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale.In light of research results, a number of recommendations and suggestions emerges.Recommendations : 1 - Benefit of social researchers working in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs from the program developed to reduce existential anxiety in this age group.2 - Benefit of the existential anxiety measurement means prepared by the researcher during the current research in order for using it for detecting existential anxiety at other age groups by educational counselors.3 - The continuous concern of old - age individuals by family and society for the huge experiences of this age group at various fields, which can be benefited of to the social service.Suggestions : 1 - Conducting a survey study to identify the level of existential anxiety of old - age individuals at the Governmental Old - age Homes of Iraq.2 - Conducting a survey study to identify the impact of opposite - intent approach on other variables like psychological alienation, affinity, and compassion. 3 - Conducting a study to reduce existential anxiety of old - age individuals resident at Governmental Homes by means of another approaches like self - sublimation or thinking - shift, and comparing their results with the results of current research

B To achieve these aims a scale of self - insight was developed.after reviewing theoretical frames literature studies and adopting bekker theory 2006 the items analysed by the discriminate power for the items through contrasted graup method and the relationship between the score of one item with the aggregate score of items. the unfit items were excluded and then a factorial analysis was used the scale of self - insight appeared to have three dimensions 1 - The objective look to the self including 28 items.2 - Social sensibility consisting of 7 items.3 - The ability to manage the new positions including 4 items.A scale for self - insight in its final version was prepared containing indicators of face validity and factorial validity while the reliability was obtained by two methods spilt half method and cronbuchs alpha.the reliability coefficient of the first factor was0.83 the second factor0.74and the third factor 0.70 by cronbachs alpha method while in spilt half method the same factors were 0.79 - 0.70 and 0.69 respectively. According to the second variable the creative personality the researcher adopted kaufmans scale after conducting the translation validity and pursuing the required procedures the reliability coefficient was obtained by two methods test - retest 0.80cronbachs alpha 0.88.The following findings attained after analyses of data 1 - The college students have self - insight in its multiple dimensions2 - There were not differences in the objective look to the self between males and females. 3 - The humanistic students are superior to the scientific students in the objective look to the self. 4 - The females were superior to the males in social sensibility t - value amounted 4.005 - There were not differences between humanistic students and scientific students in social sensibility t - value amounted 1.02 6 - The males were superior to the females in the ability to manage the new position t - value amounted 4.15 - The college students characterized with creative personality t—value amounted 17.71 - There were not differences between males and females in creative personality t - value amounted 1.424 C - there were not differences between males and females in creative personality t - value amounted 0.356 - There were not differences between humanistic and scientific students in creative personality t - value amounted 0.47 - 0.32 - 0.22. There was a positive correlation between self - insight in its multiple dimensions and creative personality the value of correlation coefficient amounted ( 0.47 ), (0.32) , ( 0.22 ) respectively. In the light of the above - mentioned findings the researcher concluded several recommendations and suggestions related to the findingsrecommendations1 - through mass media affective programs and sessions parents may be aware of right methods for bringing up their children such methods may affect building a realistic look for them and to make them far away from falsifying the self and to know their real level for example their scientific levels and the nature of their behavior whether it is negative or positive 2 - Connecting the text book materials with a practical function to transform it to an applied experience in which the student participates through networks projects seminars shows conferences and exploratory excursions to cultivate creative thinking for students. suggestions further studies have to be conducted about self - insight in other social sections like judges leaders and athletes

There are statistically significant at the pretest and posttest differences on the scale of concern cognitive perception of controlling group. There were no statistically significant differences on the test tribal and posttest differences on the scale of concern cognitive perception of control group.B no significant differences at test tribal and posttest differences on the scale of concern cognitive perception experimental group.C no significant differences on the post - test to measure of concern cognitive perception between the control and experimental groups.In light of the results of research and developed a number of recommendations and suggestions.Recommendations : 1. be taken advantage of the current Indicative Programme by the counselors.2. The need for periodic and continuous disclosure for students who suffer from the problem of of concern the use of cognitive perception detect this problem scales.3. constant attention chip students from parents, school and society because they are the future generation who will take over the leadership of the community later.4. possibility of researchers and extension agents take advantage of the scale to measure anxiety cognitive perception, as can every area of the scale used to measure itself is concerned cognitive perception of the (perception, forecasting, prediction).5.
