دراسة التاكل الميكانيكي الجاف لمادة متراكبة ذات اساس (SiC / Al - 4% Cu) Studing Dry Mechanical Corrosion For Composite Material of Base (Al - 4% Cu / SiC)

المستخلص: تم في هذا البحث دراسة مقاومة البلى لمواد متراكبة معدنية ذات اساس من الالمنيوم (Al - 4%Cu) باستخدام جهازذو ترتيبة المسمار على القرص (Pin on Disk) وتحت ظروف اختبار مختلفة هي (الحمل المسلط , نسبة اضافة دقائق كاربيد السليكون ,سرعة الانزلاق , زمن الانزلاق).حيث | In this research (study) wear resistance of composite materials based on metal, aluminum (Al - 4%Cu), has been studied under different test conditions (applied load, the proportion of added silicon carbide particles, a speed of sliding, sliding time) using a pin on the disk technique. Composite materials prepared using stir casting method, where vortex technique help to draw the ceramic particles into the molten metal and distributed uniformly. The composite materials containing 4 wt% Cu and 1 wt% Mg, reinforced with different proportions wt% SiC (3,6,9,12) were cast in a metal mold. Magnesium was added to improve the wetability between SiC particles and the aluminum matrix. The base alloy and composite materials samples were tested to investigate microstructure, phases, and properties using Optical Microscope, X - Ray Spectrometer, Vickers Hardness, and Scanning Electron Microscope. The optical microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM) are also used to study the effect of loads on the worn surface. From the results of microscopic examination on found that the alloy structure of the foundation is a fine dendrite structure (Dendrite), and after the addition of ceramic particles leads to an improvement in microstructure, in addition to distributed almost homogeneous in the matrix and on the boundaries crystalline. X - ray diffraction examination approved the existence of aluminum and silicon carbide phases. In addition to the deposition phase (Al2Cu) because of the natural aging,(Mg Al2Cu) phase and the presence of this freak indicate on the interaction of aluminum with the added elements, The hardness test results show that, the increasing the ceramic particles proportion tend to increase the hardness, the highest hardness found at 12wt% SiC. By studying the worn surface, using optical microscope and SEM, increasing in wear was observed with applied load for all reinforced particles percentage added. With the increased load, more wear, deep, and closed paths was formed. Twotypes of wear were monitored at high loads, adhesive wear and abrasive wear. The studying of wear rate for both base alloy and composites materials with various conditions, show that wear rate increase with increasing applied load, but the composite materials show higher wear resistant. The best wear resistance found at 12 wt% SiC addition.The studying of sliding speed show that the wear rate decreases with high speed the for both base alloy and composites materials. The sliding time show direct correlation with wear rate, but at continuous increasing sliding time, wear rate decline constantly.Statistical methods with software (Minitab 15) was used to study the effect of wear on weight loss for both the base alloy and composite material by using three variables; ( applied load (X1), silicon carbide proportion (X2), sliding distance (X3), with five levels of each variable. It was concluded that the optimum weight loss (Optimization of weight loss) (0.0046 g), as a result the wear process, are found at the these following levels of variables; applied load (2.5 N), sliding distance (7.2 Km) and at the silicon carbide proportion (3.6364 wt% Sic). Equation describes the combined effect of variables and the weight loss was obtained and which variable are more influential. Y = 0.010180 + 0.002825 X1 - 0.002375 X2 + 0.001100 X3 + 0.001809 X32 + 0.004700 X1 X3 + 0.002700 X2 X3 The applied load (X1) and sliding speed (X3) both have the largest effect on weight loss. Both, applied load and silicon carbide does not have any effect on the weight loss. For individual variable, it foundthat applied load has the greatest influence on weight loss.

دراسة انتقال الحرارة لمسبوكات المواد المنتجة بطريقة الطرد المركزي A Study of The Heat Transfer For Alloys The Materials Produced By Use Centrifugal Casting

المستخلص: تم كتابة برنامج حاسوبي بلغة فورتران (90) لدراسة الانتقال الحراري لبعدين(2 - D) بطريقة الفروقات المحددة المباشرة (Explicit Finite Difference Method) للمسبوكات ( Al - 4.5%Mg)،(Al - 7%Si)،المنتجة بطريقة السباكة بالطرد المركزي الافقية، اذ تم حساب سرعة دوران | Mathematical program writing completion by Fortran 90 to study the heat transfer in two dimensions(2 - D) by use explicit finite difference method for two alloys(Al - 4.5%Mg),(Al - 7%Si),this alloys were produced by the horizontal centrifugal casting, The mold rotation speed for the centrifugal casting was calculated and it was put in the mathematical program at the change of the mold rotation speed N=(100,1000,1500)rpm. And study the effect of the change of the mold rotation speed on the cooling rate and microstructure and hardness. We input to the mathematical program the boundary condition of the mold from (temperature ambient and heat transfer coefficient by convection of the alloys external)and input thermal physical properties of the alloys from (coefficient thermal conductivity of liquid and solidus,density of liquid and solidus, solid fraction, , specific heat of liquid and solidus, liquid temperature, latent heat of solidification, solidus temperature, alloys melting temperature),then we melted the alloys by use electric furnace and poured the melting alloys in the centrifugal casting mold after proceeding heating prematurely to the mold by used gaseous torch and fixing(digital thermal couple). We input to the mathematical program. And study the difference in mold rotation speed and it’s effected on the cooling rate of the both alloys and the mold and microstructure and hardness , and study the difference in the mold material effected on the cooling rate of the both alloys, and study effected the mold heating on the cooling rate of the both alloys. As a result we noted that the solidification time of the alloys is dependent upon the speed of rotation of the mold.

المستخلص: Under the increased technical advancement occurring to about all of the life aspects and specially architecture, It’s no longer for the traditional facades to be able to keep up with the advanced user’s needs and to meet the functional performance and requirements on the environmental, ecological, social and aesthetical aspects, and here it became a necessity to develop another options that would be more efficient in the provision of those requirements, so a new generation of buildings have appeared called “Smart Buildings” or “Intelligent Buildings” with there sophisticated parts and various details, one of those essential parts is the “Intelligent Façade” for it’s being the essential and primary defensive line for the building against the environmental and climatic variations, in such an advanced high performance manner, and for that importance and essentiality of this specific part the research took it as it’s particular study topic, where it has reviewed and discussed a number of general studies on the façades in smart buildings, and many of a specific studies belonging to organizations and competent casts that have addressed the issue of intelligent façades in their projects, which their discussions produced an identification of a knowledge gaps and thus let to the crystallization of the research problem : “Lack of clear and organized knowledge concerning intelligent facades in buildings, so as they would be effectively adopted by the designer in creating such facades in his designs, or the possibility of developing ordinary existing facades on the Arab and local level”.Thereby determining the aim of the research by : “Present the most organized and clear knowledge concerning the intelligent facades in buildings in a manner that enables the designer to effectively adopting them to design or develop existing facades generally, in order to serve the existing of the Arab and local experience in particular”.To achieve such goal, it has been a necessity to adopt an analytical and descriptive approach for the previous knowledge and take a sequential researching steps, the first step was to build a comprehensive theoretical framework by defining the intelligent façade, down to abstracting three main vocabularies of the theoretical framework represented by : integrated intelligent façade design, intelligent façade techniques, and effective response, and represent them in a graphical form.The next research steps focused on applying the vocabularies of the theoretical framework on the elected Arabic and local projects that have been adopted the matter of intelligent and responsive façades in a matter that servers the research goal, which took over the design of facades where great attention had been paid to constituently try these experiments to achieve sustainability and energy conservation, and introduced virtual perceptions around them and determine the type of measurements, and data collection, and according to that the results would be analyzed and discussed down to put the final conclusions related to the theoretical framework in terms of the importance of the presented knowledge which enables the architect to be aware of the various aspects of designing intelligent facades and enables him to keep up with the technological advancement and development occurring to it in a way that makes it easy to adopt through his various designs, as well as conclusions related to the outcome of the case study on the other hand, which have shown the limited adaptation of the elected local projects to the intelligent façade techniques where active response had been limited to the environmental, visual and aesthetic aspects, in limited interacting capacity compared to the achievements of the elected arab projects, and accordingly have been identified a set of general recommendations related to an investment of the presented theoretical knowledge in development of visions and orientations of academic and professional fields to develop a forward - looking vision of a renewable local architectural ideas of sustainable and in line with the spirit of the age to be accepted and supported by the investors and beneficiaries, as well as specific recommendations of the possibility of developing and modernization of the existing facades of local buildings (represented by the elected projects) exclusively toward intelligent technologies that are effective response.

المستخلص: Addition is considered one of the important concepts that have accompanied the history of human civilizations since ancient times, and the date of its different productions intellectual, scientific and technical, which is the product of civilization to embody the thought of man and represent his social and utilitarian demands, and architecture, like other productions of civilization received acting additions, change and revival through the eras. The importance of this concept has increased for the time being after growing calls for investing the inheritage and re - employing it in new experiences through the actions of the addition and revival in order to achieve the architecture in parallel with the progress and development which is taken place in various areas of life, as the actions increased after the revival of buildings which are existed to cope with the requirements of a variable subjects to submit to the work of the additions.That acts of oriented architecture towards existing buildings, both historical and traditional ones, and even contemporary ones require some actions to be performed by architecture to make them in parallel with update variable changes and one of these actions is the action of addition, whether it is physical or moral.What the architecture does by acting addition which are intertwined and interacted with the act of the revival was not received in - depth studies that deals with the frames required, and how to achieve balance with the models of origin, which puts these questions in the framework of the general problem of the research (we do not have actual documented statistics showing how many buildings that surrounding us, was based for what was designed for, except for historical buildings that have received complete documentation, how many of them, have been changed and the actions added and whether this change was taken into consideration, and the many proposals for methods and methodologies in the physical act of this phenomenon. But not historic and heritage buildings only which are a special case of this phenomenon, is alone in its change, it is beginning now to show signs of attributes and indicators larger than the phenomenon of change within its moral and physical aspects in contemporary buildings, which also need to change career and addition).I have accordingly summarized the research problem as following : - (in the lack of knowledge about the nature of the relationship between the original and additional in the existed architecture in both sides (the historical and traditional) as well as contemporary. When they are faced with the updated requirements which force to do the addition and revival, specifying its final formula for the sustainability of its life, and the scarcity of specialized knowledge about the levels of architectural and functional expression to do addition at the level of design).Accordingly, the objectives of the research were identified the research as follows : • To clarify the nature of the addition and the revival of existing building architecturally, and the formula in each of the historical and heritage buildings on the one hand and contemporary buildings on the other.• To clarify the different levels of the action of addition physically and morally with what is established and the role of architectural vision in determining these levels.• To show the impact of the actions of addition and the revival in updating functional and expressive change for the existing buildings and the type of relationship between these variables.• and thus reaching the goal of providing access to possible knowledge for architects to submit certain ways and appropriate directions to deal with this problem to surround the basic aspects of the case to get to enrichment and creativity in the addition and the revival of these building.Therefore it is required to achieve the goal of drawing the theoretical framework of previous studies and to be supported by global applications in this area and then to extract some indicators to be applied to local situations. And then conclusions have been put that all actions of the additions and the rehabilitation of existing buildings is an act of re - design which include all aspects of the design process and ideas can be various within the range of vision - based on design of the existing building, but with the variable determinants, regarding the nature of the relationship of both functional and expressive, required in these actions.

المستخلص: فى ظل ما يواجهه العالم من نقص للموارد والتغييرات الجوية التى نتجت عن سوء استخدام واستغلال الانسان لبيئته وتاثير انماط حياته عليها التي تقود الى استنزاف للموارد الطبيعية للارض. ولاننا جزء من الطبيعة وجميع التغيرات التي تطرا عليها تؤثر علينا وبنفس ال | Within the lack of the resources that the world is facing which was resulted from the misuse of human to his mother nature and the impact of the patterns of our current life on nature,leads to consume the natural resources of the earth. The way to deal with this situation is either to protect the natural resources or Simulation the nature which is sustainable by taking it as a model and a standard. The process of Simulation nature, is also called Biomimicry which is also used as a tool and a strategy in order to Achieve continuity,which was also intended to find solutions for the designing problems through imitating the natural world. This is done through imitating the shapes which are already existed in the nature through its samples , systems , work mechanism , elements , and functions and then learning its functions, its natural structure systems, its balance genius and beauty which is created by God. The nature of the systems, materials process and structures which have been so far the best suggestion and the book that its ideas are never finished, to inspire solutions for the needs of the following generation as well as the designing problems across the time to reach the desired systems and productive, inspiring tool for re - imagining the building world. The research is based on a group of architecture hypothesis and previous principles concerning the subject, taking into consideration the importance of biomimicrythe Mother Nature as a system. A researching problem has appeared that there aren't enough studies about the importance and the role of biomimicryof the living natural systems that deals with shape, structure and the origin structure and the mother nature systems as one of the means that can accomplish sustainability in the architecture. The research is aimed to elicit remarks, structure, origin and predictive limitations in the area of biomimicryof the living natural systems and the possibility of transforming them into continuous architecture. In order to achieve its object, the research is based on a hypothesis which is saying( we can make use of nature and its models through Biomimicryof its shapes and selecting the natural structural systems suitable for achieving sustainable architecture). The research depended on the style of analytical descriptive study. In light of this, the organizational structure of the search contains four chapters, the first chapter dealt with testing the hypothesis search within two main sections, General Section : Sustainability in architecture and the Special Section : Simulate natural living systems.Chapter II discussed the theoretical previous studies , sustainability architecture and its relationship with simulating systems natural as a neighborhood and within three areas (the first in the field of biomimicryliving nature, the second in the field of simulation systems living nature and its inspiration in architecture, the third in the field of decisions buildings Urban environmentally sustainable). Chapter III dealt with the relationship between forms of natural living and sustainability and shapes of urban contemporary , through a comparative analysis of examples architectural elected (Global and Arabian) and extract vocabulary and indicators theoretical effective for each area to achieve sustainable urban. Chapter IV handled the procedures applied , analytical and extraction results , and Conclusions and recommendations.The Research depends on the manner of Descriptive AnalyticalStudy, where (25) global projects were selected , and within three fields (10 projects in the field of simulate living nature , and 10 projects in the field of decisions buildings Urban environmentally sustainable , and five projects in the field Biomimicrysystems living nature and inspiration in Architecture) to represent the sample research to study the process and adopted plans and sections horizontal and photos indoor and outdoor illustrative and three - dimensional as units analytical, were data processing based on the method of mathematical analysis by finding duplicates and extraction percentages for patterns simulate natural systems live in different fields using the program office (Excel) and draw graphs using desktop software (Excel).The results and conclusions shows the need , importance and effectiveness of biomimicrysystems formal , structural and environmental natural organisms in achieving sustainable urban what the advantage of its efficiency and sustainability of using computational techniques to work approach biomimicryunits , elements and mechanism of action with some, and the integration of technical solutions to create a balance between the natural environment and the manufacturers and energy exploitation, adoption of green space on the surfaces and between floors (Hanging Gardens) and the adoption of passive systems (self) and merged with the systems design, integration between nature and technology Finally we got that the final conclusions of the research represented the conclusions of the theoretical and practical framework and recommendations and the prospects for future researc.

نقد المفاصل الحرجة في العمارة الاسلامية The Criticism of Critical Joints of Islamic Architecture

المستخلص: ان التراث المعماري الاسلامي ليس تراثا ماديا او شكليا فحسب، بل هو تراث فكري يعبرعن حاجة انسانية طبيعية، واذا اردنا اثبات ان تراثنا وعمارتنا الاسلامية ليس انتخابيا selective))، (وهذا راي بعض المفكرين الغربيين والمستشرقين)، يجب علينا القاء الضوء على | The Islamic architectural heritage is not material or formal heritage but the heritage of the intellectual and expresses natural human need, and its our response to prove that ours (our Islamic building) is not (elected)! This is the opinion of some Western thinkers and the Orientalists. We should shed light on this heritage, study and criticize their joints, and refer to the Islamic intellectual assets and sources of confusion in it. The research paying attention to the philosophical study of Islamic architecture (based on intellectual assets) and the root of this study to clarify the difference between (Islamic architecture) and (Architecture of Muslims), so the discovery and identification of critical joints of Islamic architecture will reveal a large part of this difference. Critical studies around the Islamic architecture is not sufficient to solve the problem of critical fact that do not rise to the production of solid intellectual foundation, for the shape of the Iraqi Islamic school, so the provision of critical examination philosophical critique of critical joints in Islamic Architecture (after detection and identification), it will save our societies from the paradoxical situation and the intellectual antagonism experiencing at the present time between trends and theories of Western, and Islamic intellectual needs (which may conflict with these directions).The critical joints in Islamic architecture will also have a critical rule through criticism of Islamic buildings ,and global with it , and to identify "critical joint " is the change that is made on a continuing phase and change it to another phase may be negative or positive, through the themes and architectural studies on the philosophical architecture on Islamic critical joints can be concluded in Islamic architecture and can develop the physical reality, and to give a clear vision about the need for the future " , sources of architectural form , Architecture relationship to man , subject and object and their relationship to architecture, Architecture as an object, Rule and order in Islamic architecture, engineering and mathematical relations in Islamic architecture, criticism of Structural in architecture and criticism of phyenomenology in architecture.The current architecture is not one that attaches to the research priorities and research attention, while attention is the need to shape an idea of the future Islamic Architecture (stemming from the Islamic asset),The study of the Islamic intellectual assets and production techniques architectural forms entrench us information theory to compare them to shape and develop our idea of the Islamic school for the future.The need for actual criticism will appear , in the criticism of Western theories and trends that apply to the Islamic bulildings now (or criticize the buildings) and was founded by intellectual analysis and comparison of what is ours from the Islamic intellectual assets, to distinguish in line with the thought and contrasts with, in essence. These trends are (Phenomenology, Existentialism, Structuralism, and Marxism).The search is now paying attention to (Islamic architecture), the Islamic heritage of intellectual (and spiritual), and the need for Islamic architectural future, Our architectural path need a clear objective aim, and future - oriented stems from the genuine Islamic thought to occupy a position of real Islamic architecture.

المستخلص: لم يعد دور الفضاءات الخارجية يقتصر على تصميم الفضاءات المفتوحة المحيطة بالمبنى او الفضاءات المفتوحة الموجودة ضمنه، بالاعتماد على عناصر الطبيعة (الاشجار، المياه، الخ) وعناصر التاثيث الصناعية (المصاطب، المظلات، واعمدة الانارة، الخ) فحسب، بل بات احد التوج | In the current time the Landscape doesn’t limit for the design of open spaces surrounding the buildings or the open spaces include it. Depending on the natural items (trees, water, etc.) and artificial furniture items (chairs, lighting columns and the shelters) and became one of the architectural directions. And major element providing the comfort and harmony between exterior and interior contains and providing the environmental, functional, economic, cultural and social requirements for the space. Landscape Architecture as a direction connect the natural environment and artificial environment surrounding the human due to the functional requirement and environment requirement and as the global direction for the sustainability during the speed improving for all life aspects.The research mentioned as a general hub the concept of the Landscape Architecture and its distinguish between the open spaces and exterior spaces and assess its levels ( architecture versus Landscape, architecture and Landscape, landscape as an architecture) beside the modern direction of the sustainability and the ecological direction.The research took care as a special hub about the concept of the Eco - scape in the landscape architecture. Many dissertations and studies reviewed and discussed for many organization and associations are competent in designing the Eco - scape in their projects and through the discussion the scientific gaps have been determined. From the discussion we have the problem statement of the represented by there is no generalization for the concept of the Eco - scape of Landscape architecture and the most important aspect to achieve and from that the research problem statement determined as shapes of Eco - scape, elements of the Eco - scape, relationship/ principles of the Eco - scape, levels of generating the Eco - scape in Landscape Architecture, the role of the Eco - scape have been achieved in the Landscape architecture.The next steps focus on the theoretical frame elements on projects have been choose from the local projects and achieve the Landscape architecture in one of its three levels. After that analyze the results of the scientific studies and discuss it. Then give the final conclusions in two chapters. The first one contains the conclusions about theoretical frame. The second chapter contains the special conclusions of the implementing in the local case for the concept. Its illustrate the concept of the Eco - scape of the Landscape architecture and recommend it as a local result without a clear mention from the designer by taking care about the related aspects by recommend the designs and on the scape shapes and its natural and artificial elements and the relationships of the formatting and composition of the scape and achieve the Aesthetic environment and functional aspects and encouraging for the sustainable life which is achieve it the Eco - scape in Landscape architecture.

الموقف القيمي لجماليات العمارة العراقية المعاصرة The Valuation Attitude For Aesthetics In Iraqi Contemporary Architecture

المستخلص: تعددت الدراسات المتعلقة بالجمال والجماليات المعمارية، كما تنوعت الحقول التي قامت بدراسة كل منهما، مثل الفلسفة وعلم النفس والاجتماع. فقد شغل الكثير من الفلاسفة بموضوع الجمال، واستمر البحث فيه وفي مصادره في مختلف العصور، وقد حاول علماء النفس والاجتماع وضع ت | Many studies were made about beauty and architectural aesthetics, as a variety of fields, which had studied each, such as philosophy, psychology and sociology. Beauty was always philosophers’ concern, and continued research it and it sources in various ages, psychologists and sociologists tried to find interpretations of the aesthetic experience according to their attitudes. The values were still the subject of research and study to this day. They were studied by philosophers, sociologists and psychologists and also by architects to see their influence on architecture. This research is a mere attempt to have a better understanding of the subject of beauty and its sources and its impact on the architecture and how to accept it and deal with it. From which the research’s problem appear which is the attempt to find the influence of the value situation on the architectural aesthetics of the Iraqi contemporary architecture. The research tries to combine the subjects of architectural aesthetics and values, and identifies the rule that values have in the matter of “aesthetic taste” for individuals and societies. Proceeding from the idea that beauty could be in subject or object or both, the research discusses the impact of values or values sequence in society on those two factors (subject and object). Thus the theses suggested to solve the research’s problem included the necessity of the value situation, which depends on not only philosophical bases but also social factors, to understand the architectural aesthetics; the second thesis included the importance of values’ situation to direct the “aesthetic taste”. The third thesis was says that due to the inconsistency of the political, economical and social situations in Iraq, a case of confusion in the aesthetic preference appeared, which requires finding the criteria to solve this problem.Values have different sources, their power and obligation increase according to the power of their sources. So in order to study these values the research went back to their sources to further understand them, then analyze their impact on the subjective and objective factors of architectural aesthetics. Chapter one of this study included the discussion of values, beauty, aesthetics and attitude, with a brief demonstration of their history and sources. While chapter two discussed architecture and it’s significance for society, then found that architecture carries the values of the society and thus it’s aesthetic sense, chapter two also gives a brief description of contemporary Iraqi architecture and the most important events that effected it. As for chapter three, there is a summery for all the information and conclusions made throughout the study and a subtraction of the main terms that form the objective and subjective characters of the architectural aesthetics, then they were put into comparism with the value situation to find their effect on aesthetics, then these relations were applied to examples of Iraqi architecture, the study found in the forth chapter that the relationship between values and aesthetics is strong, for both subjective and objective terms, because values are indicators and rules that society follow, and as long as the architecture follows these rules - values - it would be accepted by society and beautiful, and this is one of things that gives identity of architecture in a certain place and time The study also found that if the society was well connected and had strong and sacred values, its architecture will carry its identity and stands for its as well as all it’s arts.

المستخلص: Ease of transfer between different modes of public transportation within the stations is a significant contribution to the movement that can be provided by transportation industries to develop solutions of integrated transportation. This is the future that the Integrated Transportation refers to it, in its multimodal transportation, to make public transportation more enjoyable and intresting, in addition to passenger transportation and future movement of goods are also depend on multimodal transportation The importance of interchange promotion between multimodal as a basic feature of passengers buildings in modern transportation stations.The station building requires planning and design processors, as well as multiple regulatory requirements and services, it does not represent the convergence movement of travelers only but it is the place of the necessary processes for passengers movements exchange, trains exchange, other means of transportation, mix many systems of movement represent by passenger traffic between arrivals, departures and recipients. We can visualize the different traffic trends for each of them in this space or void called station, which follow each certain system in a particular direction, consequently its necessary to facilitate the communication between platforms and different spaces, with a peak of complexity in planning and design of station building many aspects should be taking in considerations in the design process : the functional requirements and aesthetic for the public travelers to find the best balance of reconcile the different activities, in order to face every part of the requirements, to help each other and to integrate the performance of his work efficiently. Therefore, the station building should be considered as a design for the complex engineering system, which aims to meet the needs of humanity and translate it into spaces, and service needs suits all types of travelers Due to variation of requirements depending on the age groups, health requirements and cultural requirements.The importance of research highlights in : the role of integrated multimodal transportation of local stations, necessity study for the levels of planning and the extent integration and functional, environmentally and operationally, Where this integration play a major role by giving the expressionistic and Iconium , especially there is lack of architectural studies in local libraries related to the subject of the foregoing , that leads to the Research problem : " lack of basic information to be placed as a specific standards for integrative transportation stations in Iraq according to design and planning in order to operate these stations efficiently, functionally, environmentally and socially ".The research adopt a descriptive approach, analytic criticism and analysis for the concepts and ideas to Testing the basic hypothesis : the integrated railway stations are huge and multi - facilities of activities which works such a cities by one - system consists of several systems integrated with each other in planning and a design within the scale of the urban planning process and to achieve efficiency operational stations with modern conception.The research was based on a theoretical framework for the basic research problem and hypothesis composed of three chapters the first chapter reviews the foundations and concepts of railway stations, most important components of the station buildings, the main function systems and to study the level of service standards and international areal standards. The second chapter studied the design conceptions of railway stations, functional and mobility systems, design standards, its environmental impact on functions. The third chapter reviews the integration of functional systems with multimodal transportation stations to clarify planning specifications, design criteria and its benefits to create integrated stations with railway stations. Then the research moves to Chapter four. which includes analysis of theoretical framework by giving brief about indicators and components of each chapter to test research hypothesis as well as comparative analysis studies of selected models for international unique stations around the world and to prove the research hypothesis, and access to a guidelines in order to apply these hypotheses to some international stations as well as the exposure to the reality of local experience in the light of the research study to try to promote their best. Down to the most important final conclusions of the research and providing a number of recommendations and possible studies for the future, branching from the research. Which are included in the fifth chapter.

الحلول التصميمية لعمارة صديقة للطفل : دور الحضانة ورياض الاطفال Design Solutions For A Friendly Child Architecture : Nurseries & Kindergartens

المستخلص: Early childhood is a crucial stage of life in terms of a child physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. Growth of mental and physical abilities progresses at an astounding rate from birth to age six composing 50% of the intelligence of the child at this stage.. The progress of nations and communities is measured by the extent of their interest in the world of childhood and the development of the educational system in line with the developments and requirements of the times. So it is the responsibility of the community to focus on children and support their growth and development as they reflect the image representing the community in the future. The importance of the establishment of nurseries and kindergartens is represented in providing generous purposeful environment for children in the first years of age to help the continuity of growth and integration of mental, emotional, sensory and kinetic abilities.. The absence of a theoretical framework that integrates contemporary educational and architectural trends for the child's architecture reaching general strategies, constitutes the main research problem. This problem arises from the lack of a knowledge in the field of architecture in providing theoretical frameworks for designing solutions for the architecture of children (as a result of literature concentration on fragmented and separate attributes), as well as the absence of a dialectic and reasonable interrelation between architectural theories and child's educational and psychological theories.. In light of the research problem, the aim of the present research is determined at the establishment of a theoretical framework that integrates educational and contemporary architectural trends for building the general strategies and deriving the designing solutions for the the friendly - child architecture. This requires the building of the theoretical framework , and then applying the framework to selected architectural environments in order to draw the bases and mechanisms of designing of the architecture of the child. In light of this, the structure of the research includes five chapters : Chapter One is allocated to demonstrate the importance of the role of nurseries and kindergartens in the development and growth of the child and within two axes : one focuses on the architectural and educational history of nurseries and kindergartens on a global level. The second axis deals with the history of nurseries and kindergartens at the local level. The intake Chapter Two the psychology of play and intellectual approaches & their reflection on the requirements of the child's environment within the two axes. The first axis Includes growth and development of the child and the psychology of play. Either second axis deals with intellectual approaches and it's reflected on the child's environment includes the intellectual approach of Pedagogy and intellectual architectural appraoches down to build four general concepts common to reflect the desired characteristics of the child's environment - including the external environment and internal environment - represented by (learning environment by doing, simulation, workshops and laboratories / rich exciting environment, working as a third teacher for child / sustainable environment - health, economic and social / Home - Like environment of psychological and physicist safety).Chapter Three deals with extracting the main strategies in the child's environment (external and internal) and the resulting indicators reaching to the final theoretical framework. Chapter Four aims to apply the theoretical framework and the resulted strategies on selected architectural environments (nurseries and kindergartens).Chapter Five presents the final conclusions and future recommendations. Also subjected such a civilized outcomes in many countries of the world to policies that have investment objectives, economic and cultural through tourism, which has become recently manufacture have goals and the fundamentals and strategies lately. As the most of prior knowledge in the field of architecture on the tourist side focused on the descriptive side of the inherited cultural visits by identifying the nature of the historic building or archaeological terms of design, construction materials, details and many other aspects, and visits by clarifying the guidelines and instructions for dealing with such buildings, according to governmental and international organizations such as UNESCO laws, and once through the tourist promo description that focuses on specific aspects of such sites, shows that the knowledge needed to investigate methods for the manufacture of historical tourist spaces and shape and structure within the overall fabric of the historical center.At this point the importance of research had appeared in the necessity of creating holistic imagine about how to activate the role of the historic Space within the various tourist ranges in cultural tourism manufacture projects in historic buildings in different classification, and through the study of the tourism manufacture in the historical buildings and the role of each other, and how to deal with the historic buildings within the laws international and local legislation and restrictive covenants critique of modern requirements for tourist investment, and how to initialize historical Space function as tourism.Research problem identified in the "lake of a holistic knowledge framework about manufacture historical Space tourism and it integration."Research aims Justifies to "build a model for structuring historic building as a tourist space integrated and effective in general first, and determine the model of the behavior of the tourist catalyst movement in the tourism Space secondly" through research hypothesis which states that the integration of structured domains and the elements of tourism retaining in the historical center increases the effectiveness of tourism Space "hypothesis" the behavior of the tourist movement in the tourism Space depends on the strength of stimulating tourism elements.basis of that, method selected and consisting of several stages, first phase build a comprehensive conceptual framework for manufacture historic tourism space where the developed items derived from prior knowledge and restructuring to be distributed in four main items, that is : (the concept of tourism Space, restructuring of tourism Space, the behavior of the tourist movement in Space of tourism, manufacture the historical tourism space), Second phase, Applied procedures and building the default model for manufacture space tourism in historic buildings after testing active indicators extracted from the conceptual framework of this model represents all levels of manufacture space tourism in historical buildings which are divided among four major ranges, that is : (range A : centered historical tourism, rang B : the historic center of tourism, range C : historical of tourism decade, range D : core historical of tourism).measurement method and it manner has been identified by focusing on 2 main items to be application in (restructuring of historic Space tourism), (tourist movement behavior in the tourism Space) as well as identifying the elected sample that will be applied, that contains two sample, the first is (new Hassan Pasha historical center / Baghdad, Iraq) The second is (Topkapi Palace the historic tourism center and its nearby / Istanbul, Turkey).The third phase, is specialized to discuss the results, analysis and validation of hypotheses, were identified final conclusions presented in two topics, the first topic on the results of the application, while the second topic is particularly the final conclusions of the research, as it focused first topic of the results of the application for restructuring tourist space and elements of tourism ranges in historic buildings and increasing the effectiveness of space tourism at achieving higher integration in the structure of space tourism ranges and the tourist elements that retaining it.As well as the results from the questionnaire about the tourist movement in space tourist who intended to stimulate the tourist movement and expand tourism within historical areas through organizing and designing of the tourism spaces and distributing it to historic buildings and decades activated and invested tourism, The second topic of the results has focused on the role of international conventions to guide tourism intervention in historic buildings levels as well as the conclusions of the property in how to design a tourist spaces within the historic environment and modern approach her to meet tourist requirements of the local community and the place at the same time through an integrated tourist space and activated.

اثر المعالم الدينية في مورفولوجية مركز مدينة سامراء The Effect of The Religious Landmarks In The Morphology of : Samarra City

المستخلص: اهتم الباحثون بمختلف توجهاتهم لدراسة المورفولوجيا الحضرية؛ لاهميتها في صياغة النسيج الحضري للمدن ومنها المدن الدينية بمختلف المراحل الزمنية، والتي تعكس التسلسل الزمني لتكوين البنية الحضرية للمدن، تعاملت الدراسة مع المورفولوجيا الحضرية من خلال متغيراتها، و| Researchers with their various orientations have been interested in studying urban morphology; for its importance in framing urban fabrics for cities including religious cities on various time stages, which reflects time sequence which forms urban formation for cities, the study have dealt with urban morphology through its variants, as well as with urban formation as one complete formation including both physical side and incorporeal side, research confirmed that the effect of religious factor in religious cities shows in religious monuments, for what it has of regulatory role that works on of the urban fabric’s cohesion, and that role stands out from studying regulatory relations of the urban formation, this is very clear when looking closer at the urban appearance, which differentiates from one city to another through the relation between its morphologic variants, depending on the type of creation factor. All that have determined the research problem : that is the lack of informations about the regulatory role of the religious monument through the variant morphologic stages of the urban fabric’s cohesion of Samarra, the research depends on studying the urban formation as a historical morphologic study for its most important time stages those through which the urban fabric had passed, and determining the most important power centers (religious monuments) which regulates the urban formation, and emphasizing the synthetic properties for clarifying the effect of the religious monuments on the urban fabric’s formulation for religious cities including the Arabian Islamic city in its variant morphologic stages, to verify research’s target in showing religious monuments’ role in the regulation of Samarra’s urban morphology according to the impact that they have as regulatory element for the urban fabric, showing a practical definition for the urban morphology have been a must that it is “the structural appearance for cities, whether they were small or big, including plans, fabric, land uses and the ways which depending upon the appearance’s study have been done, which express the appearance of cities on variant historical stages”, as well as a research methodology that includes construction of informative fundament for the urban morphology and its influencing factors, which divided into formation factors of fabric and ideological proposals which represents the new foundations of cities’ regulation, and laying a clear vision for the research problem, as well as showing reviews of previous studies, with determining the most important methods of morphologic analysis, also the informative fundament includes notion studies for the city from the Islamic perspective through determining Arabian Islamic city as one of the religious cities, and studying its urban fabric and its planning elements to access the definition of religious monument’s notion, and determining Samarra city as a (case study), defining it and determining its religious monuments and its morphologic stages (chapter one and chapter two), then research have drawn theoretical framework’s elements for urban morphology and determining measurements of structural properties (regulators) including both global and local ones for the religious monuments to verify research hypothesis that have been formulated as that “religious monuments have a role in morphology regulation of Samarra City and its fabric’s cohesion”, depending upon that, essential planning have been prepared to analyze the chosen sample (Samarra city), as well as applying measurements and drawing the conclusions (chapter three and chapter four), then research have drawn the final conclusions and recommendations (chapter five). Conclusions have shown the role that the religious monuments have been performed as a regulator for the morphology of urban formation through the regulatory properties (structural) including both global and local ones for its spaces in its various morphologic stages, as well as it have afforded values of indicators for the chosen area that are certified for future development projects to maintain the religious monument role in framing and cohesion of Samarra’s urban fabric.
