He studied the researcher himself two sets of research.After the completion of the systematic teaching of vocabulary book, achievement test on two groups dish used statistical Pouch (spss) and analysis of variance and chi square unilateral means of data processing results were as follows : 1. there is a difference is statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who have studied the history using the random thrills strategy and the average scores of the control group students who have studied the same material in accordance with the usual method of collection.In light of the search results put the researcher a number of recommendations from them.1. Attention of modern strategies in the teaching of history and adopt as much as possible from teaching2. The use of the random thrills strategy in the teaching of the Islamic Arab history second grade average3. benefit from the excitement of random strategy through teaching material within the teaching methods in colleges of education and basic education to teach students how to apply them after graduation and practice the profession.4. Abstract: The present study aims at identifying the impact of employing the Text Theory on fifth literary class students’ reading comprehension and composition performance.A partial control experimental design has been adopted where a control group plus a post test has been only used. The sample of the study includes 63 male fifth literary class students selected from Al - Athar preparatory school for boys.The sample has been distributed into an experimental group of 31 students , and a control group of 32 ones. The two groups have been equalized in : age calculated in months, parents academic level , and a linguistic ability test.Two tests have been constructed : a reading comprehension text consisting of 40 MCQ items where its validity , reliability , item discrimination power , item difficulty power , and the effectiveness of its incorrect options have all been achieved ;and a composition writing test including several topics selected by a group of experts. Both groups have been taught by the researcher himself. Both the reading comprehension test and the composition writing one have been applied on the sample of the present study at the end of the experiment. The experimental study lasted for a whole academic course. Data of the study has been analyzed statistically by using t - test of two independent samples. Results reveal that : 1. The experimental group students have been superior to the control group ones in reading comprehension.2. The experimental group students have been superior to the control group one in composition writing performance.In the light of the present study results , suitable conclusions, recommendations and suggestions for further studies have been put forward.

Having identified the researcher scientific material to be taught, which included concepts contained in the book of the history of Arab - Islamic civilization fourth grade literary scheduled to be taught for the academic year 2014 - 2015, and in the light of its content Select researcher major historical concepts of (18) historically understood, and in the light of those concepts prepared Researcher behavioral goals of (54) target measure gain concept operations (definition, discrimination, application) as prepared by teaching plans (36) daily plan for each group of three research groups. The researcher prepared a test to gain historical concepts of the type of question. (Multiple choice) be (54) items, and a test of the skills of historical thinking, amounting to 40 items of the type of multiple - choice has been checked and sincerity (virtual and content) and strength discriminatory and coefficient of difficulty and effectiveness of false alternatives, and its stability has been extracted equivalent manner Alvakronbach, reaching (0.83) is a good stability of plants. Trial proceedings lasted 12 weeks dish at the end of the test to gain the post of historical concepts and two days later was re - test to measure historical thinking skills and use appropriate statistical researcher means to achieve the objectives of the research and study resulted in the following findings. 1 - outweigh the first experimental group which studied strategy (Bayer) to acquire historical concepts and skills of historical thinking on the second experimental group which studied the strategy Jkso developed and the control group, who studied in the traditional manner. 2 - outweigh the second experimental group that studied strategy (Jkso developed) to acquire the concepts and thinking skills to the control group which studied the traditional way

In the Basic Science Posttest. The present study was confined to the students of governmental secondary and preparatory schools (Day Classes) for boys in Baghdad governorate\ Rusafa II for the academic year 2014/2015. He depended on the partial adjustment (experimental, control groups) with the posttest. The sample of the study composed of (73) students from the fifth grade \Literary branch : (36) of the experimental group in Al - Jazzera preparatory school and (37) control group from Al - Shaheed Ahmed Al - Husseiny School. The two groups were matched in the variables of (age, IQ, previous information test, basic science processes pretest, previous knowledge in geography, and parent achievement). The researcher prepared two tools for the dependent variable; the first is the achievement test made up of two questions : the first is the multiple choice type - four options - 40 items to measure the minimum levels of Bloom’s Classification (knowledge, comprehension, application). The second measures the maximum levels (analysis, syntnesis, evaluation), composed of 14 questions - essay type - The validity and constancy of the, and the calculation of the psychometric features were all verified. The Basic Sciences processes test made of 40 items the multiple choice type - four options - The validity and constancy of the, and the calculation of the psychometric features were all verified. The two tests were applied at the end of the experiment which lasted for one scholastic year starting from 3/11/2014 to 9/4/2015. The data obtained were processed by the use of the t - test for two independent samples. The following findings were concluded : 1 - The exceling of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program according to Active Leaning Strategies over the students of the control group who study in the same material without the program (traditional method) in acchievement test.2 - The exceling of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program according to Active Leaning Strategies over the students of the control group who study in the same material without the program (traditional method) in Basic Sciences processes test.Upon the above, the researcher comes up to the findings, and put some recommendation such as : 1 - Teachers of geography should take care choosing the teaching strategies that are suitable with the studying themes, and activating the role of the activations to acquire the learners the basic sciences process and to increase their achievement. 2 - The necessity of including the Sciences processes in the books of the geography specially the book of Natural Geography by the geography curricula makers. 3 - Making the teachers familiar with the active learning and its strategies, and training them on this.4 - Making the teachers familiar with the Basic Sciences processes and its strategies, and training them through continuous courses.5 - Calling the Ministry of Education to make use of the pedagogical program prepared by the researcher, and applying it on the students of Fifth Grade\ Literary Branch in Geography. Abstract: يرمي البحث معرفة (( اثر استراتيجيتي المماثلة والمكعب في الاداء التعبيري وتنمية مهارات توليد المعلومات عند طلاب الصف الخامس الادبي)) ولتحقيق ذلك اعتمد الباحث تصميما تجريبيا يقع في حقل التصاميم التجريبية، وهو تصميم المجموعة الضابطة اللاعشوائية الاختيار ذ | The research aims at knowing (The Impact of Cube and Conformity Strategies on Composition Performance and Developing the Skills of Information Evolution for the Fifth Literary Class Students), and for achieving that, the researcher relies on an experimental design within the field of experimental designs that have partial control and pretest and dimensional test for three groups : two are experimental and the third one is controlling. The researcher has intentionally chosen (Dar Al - Hikma Secondary School) in Baghdad Al - Jadeeda, in the province of Baghdad. The sample of the research consists of (100) students : (33) students are in the first experimental group who have studied Composition by using the conformity strategy, and (34) students are in the second experimental group who have studied Composition by using the cube strategy, and (33) students who have studied Composition by using the traditional approach. It is worth mentioning that the researcher has chosen the three sections randomly. The researcher has equalized the three groups depending on the three following alternatives : (age of the students calculated by months, the final scores of Arabic language for the previous year 2013 - 2014, the scores of the Intelligence Test (Raven), the scores of the pretest in conducting composition, testing the self academic motivating measure). The researcher has prepared daily teaching plans for teaching the three groups. Besides, the devices of the research were : Firstly, for measuring composition performance, he has used the sequential tests, and the students' scores of the three groups. Secondly, he has used a test for measuring the range of developing the skills of information evolution for the students (the sample). Moreover, the researcher has prepared it with (75) items distributed on different multiple choice questions, and literary questions with paying attention to the conditions of constructing each type as follows : The first question : it consists of (30) multiple choice items while the second question consists of (20) literary items. The researcher has applied his experiment on the three groups on Tuesday 25th of November/2014, and it has continued to 7th of May/2015. The researcher has used the following statistical devices : (mono variance analysis, Chi - square, equation of complexity factor, equation of complexity differentiation factor, validity of incorrect alternatives, Pearson coefficient of correlation, Krobnach equation - Alpha, Shifeah method). The researcher has achieved various conclusions, from which he has drawn the following points : the excellence of the students who have studied composition depending on the Cube and Conformity strategies on the controlling group who have studied the same subject using the traditional way for composition and developing the skills of information evolution. Consequently, depending on the results, the researcher has recommended the following : Encouraging the (male and female) teachers of Arabic Language to use the modern strategies (Cube and Conformity) in teaching. In addition, he has recommended encouraging the students to take the personal responsibility for learning and developing thinking skills and relating them to different situations in life, adopting training courses for training the teachers during the service. Finally, the researcher has recommended adopting a similar study for teaching other topics at different stages

The research aims to : Identify conflict management at the secondary school principals from the standpoint of their assistants, according to Thomas's theory. Identify the prevailing regulatory climate at the secondary school principals from the standpoint of their assistants. Identify statistically significant conflict between the management and the organizational climate at the secondary school principals from the standpoint of their assistants relationship.The limits of research encompassing Mona secondary schools in Baghdad for a year (2014 - 2015)* Chapter II : It included a literature search and a range of previous studies and discuss these studies.But previous studies have reached (6) Iraqi studies and (6) Arab studies and (6) studies overseas, were all aimed at detecting the organizational climate prevailing in the institutions or the various organizations As previous studies pertaining to the conflict was (3) Iraqi studies and (5) Arab studies and (4) foreign studies in order to detect how to manage the conflict, the researcher also discussed these studies then showed aspects of benefit.* Chapter Three : This chapter on research and procedures of : Find community which consists of assistants and helpers who are in high school in Baghdad's (1827) and Associate help. - The research sample consisted of 400 associate and assistant - Search tool where the researcher built a tool for research is the identification of the regulatory climate, and has built a tool organizational conflict has been built over a number of steps included in the message board. To achieve the goal of the research and testing Vredite researcher prepared a program based on quality standards, Hhat been building these standards by reference IRC literature and previous studies and a number of sources, and presented to a group of experts and arbitrators, and after approval and amendment to the list of criteria has been building program it, where keen researcher the availability of these standards in all components of the program, and the researcher presented research tools attached to the experts with a list of criteria has been building tool in the light to ensure the availability of these standards in the tool. In order to arrive to search results researcher prepared tools were first achievement test be of 40 items, including (30) objective paragraph, of the type of multiple - choice quartet alternatives and (10) specific answer paragraphs essay, was a researcher achieved his sincerity and characteristics psychometric as well as the persistence The second tool was the test of critical thinking California Skills (2000) where he consulted a researcher with jurisdiction over the measure critical thinking skills, most experts agreed that the validity and relevance of this measure for the current search consisting of (34) quad alternatives paragraph, one of these alternatives is the correct answer, The researcher also made of sincerity and persistence, but the experiment researcher developed a set of lesson plans for each strategy Strategies proposed in the program. The researcher has taught two sets of search itself along the duration of the experiment, which lasted 20 weeks where I started on 25/12/2013 until 19/05/2014, and after the end of the experiment and application tools researcher data were collected and analyzed statistically using samples t - test (t - test) The equation for the size of the impact statement effectiveness of the program and the results showed the following : 1. To achieve the aims of the study, some of aims related to the relation between administrative engineering and functional performance have been worded. The descriptive approach is adopted in describing the variables of this study. A questionnaire is used as the main instrument to collect the data important for this study from the sample and to support the theoretical framework of the study. After surveying the related educational literature and previous studies, two scales are constructed. The first is an administrative engineering scale and the other is intended to measure the functional performance. Having the required data been collected, the (SPSS) program has been used to analyze the collected data. This analysis reveals the following results : 1. Private colleges' deans have an average level of the recognition and awareness of the benefits of the administrative engineering through the skills and techniques of work accomplishment and achieving the intended aims.2. Private colleges' deans have a good level of functional performance through running their colleges issues and being aware of the administrative instructions and principles.According the results achieved, the following conclusions are drawn : 1. There is a strong correlational relationship between the two variables (administrative engineering and functional performance).2. There are no statistically significant differences in the sample responses to the scales of administrative engineering and functional performance according to the study variable (the academic title). Finally, the following recommendations are put forward : 1. The necessity to enroll colleges' deans and individuals, by the Ministry of Higher Education, in the training and qualification courses to promote their functional performance.2. The necessity of private colleges' deans working to spread the culture of change and development of their employees.3. The necessity to spread and promote the concept of administrative engineering in the private colleges for all employees whether academic or administrative.

The study presents Russells thoughts and ideas in education.The study depends on the descriptive analytic methodology in the presentation of the present analysis. The present thesis consists of five chapters described below : 1 - Chapter one consists six axis : the problem of the study, significance , aim, methodology , limits, and definition of basic terms. 2 - Chapter two is concerned with the theoretical background , which includes three parts.part one presents the theoretical aspects , consisting of Russells biography and his books. Abstract: من الواضح جدا بان معلمي اللغة الانكليزية ليس لديهم ادنى شك في ان الصفوف الكبيرة تشكل عائقا اساسيا لعملية تعليم وتعلم اللغة الانكليزية بصورة فعالة. مع المزيد من الطلاب في المدارس فان الصفوف الكبيرة في بلد كالعراق تميل الى ان تكون اجبارية اكثر منها استثنائي | It seems that English teachers have no doubt that large size of classes is a prime obstacle for the efficient English teaching and learning. With more students enrolling in schools, large classes in a country like Iraq tend to be obligatory rather than exceptional.In Iraq, large class enrollments also result in classroom discipline and achievement problems at all levels. Some students talk in class and make it difficult for the majority to hear the teacher and concentrate due to increasing the noise level. Many students might mishear an answer or a point. They pay less attention and are distracted by those who talk in class. They are psychologically inhibited from participation. Therefore, the present study tries to overcome the problem of students' achievement and discipline in large classes by examining two new models namely : 5Es and 4Is instructional models.This study aims at finding out the impact of using 5Es instructional model on students' achievement and classroom discipline, the impact of using 4Is instructional model on students' achievement and classroom discipline, and the difference between the impact of these two instructional models on both students' achievement and classroom discipline.To fulfill the study aims, a nonrandomized control group pre - posttest design has been applied to a sample of (150) 5th secondary students from Al - Shuruk secondary school, Al - Karkh 3rd Directory in Baghdad. The study demands two experimental groups and one control. The equalization of subjects for the three groups has been checked according to their age (in months), level on the pre - test achievement, mother’s level, father’s level, students' intelligence and level on the pre administration of the discipline checklist. To achieve the aims of the study, two sets of lesson plans are designed to employ 5Es and 4Is models. Two data collection instruments are also constructed and used; these are, an observation checklist for classroom discipline and an oral - written achievement test. The experiment lasted three months and the researcher himself has taught the three groups of study. The first four units are chosen from the 5th preparatory textbook (English for Iraq) to be taught in the experiment.Results obtained by the statistical treatment of the data, have shown that : 1. there are statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 1st experimental group which is taught by 5Es model and the control group which is taught conventionally in the achievement test.2. there are statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 1st experimental group which is taught by 5Es model and the control group which is taught conventionally in the classroom discipline checklist.3. there are statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 2nd experimental group which is taught by 4Is Model and the control group which is taught conventionally in the achievement test.4. there are no statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 2nd experimental group which is taught by 4Is model and the control group which is taught conventionally in the classroom discipline checklist.5. there are no statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 1st experimental group which is taught by 5Es model and the 2nd experimental group which is taught by 4Is model in the achievement test.6. there are no statistically significant differences between the mean score of the 1st experimental group which is taught by 5Es model and the 2nd experimental group which is taught by 4Is model in the classroom discipline checklist. In the light of the results achieved, some recommendations have been proposed and suggestions for further studies have been stated.

Abstract: This study aims at finding out : 1 - The effect of workshop technique on Iraqi EFL students' self - esteem.2 - The effect of workshop technique on Iraqi EFL students' performance in language skills. To achieve the aims of the study, the following null hypotheses have been tested : 1 - There is no statistical significant difference between the mean score of students of the experimental group which is taught by workshop technique and that of the control group which is taught by the traditional used technique in the post - administration of self - esteem questionnaire.2 - There is no statistical significant difference between the mean score of students of the experimental group which is taught by workshop technique and that of the control group which is taught by the traditional used technique on their performance in the post - test of English language skills. A Non - Randomized Pre - Post Test Control Group experimental design has been used. The sample of the study consists of 82 students of Iraqi EFL fifth preparatory school - scientific branch (40 students for experimental group)and (42students for the control group) for the academic year 2014 - 2015. The two groups (experimental and control group) have been equalized on the following variables : Age of the students, Students' achievement in English(scores of the first course), Parents' Education ,The pre - test, Level of intelligence and Level of self - esteem. Two instruments have been used in this study. They are a test and a questionnaire. The validity of the instruments has been secured by exposing the instruments to jury members in the field of ELT and linguistics. A number of statistical methods has been used in order to verify the reliability of the tests as well as the questionnaire. After the application of the experiment and the study instruments, the results of this study show that : 1 - There is a statistical significant difference between the two groups in their self - esteem and in favour of the experimental group and; 2 - There is a statistical significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the post - test and in favour of the experimental group.Finally, some conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions for further studies are put forward as follows : 1 - Workshop technique is capable of meeting the learners' potential needs ,autonomy, and healthy personality 2 - The workshop technique represents actual solution for the current educational situation.It saves the effort and time of both teachers and learners.3 - The workshop technique requires highly experienced teachers who are proficient in designing daily plan as well as an appropriate environment in the class for successful workshop.4 - The workshop technique has a prominent function in developing the students' performance of the experimental group. This is obvious from the post - test results which reflect a significant statistical difference in the students' performance, in favour of the experimental group.5 - The workshop technique has an outstanding utility in developing the students' self - esteem of the experimental group. And the researcher to build two tests first achievement after me consists of (50) paragraph test and the second test dimensional scientific thinking and consists of (30) items and after confirmation of the sincerity of the two tests and steadfastness and make the necessary statistical analysis have been apply them to sample and after processing the data statistically using the test samples t for two independent samples (t test).Results appeared as follows : 1. Exceed the students in the experimental group that studied the natural geographical material using the tutorial according to Landa theory on female control group studied the same material without the tutorial (the traditional way) in achievement test.2. According to this design, a sample has been chosen - the sample consists of female students of the fifth primary class from Al - Intifatha Primary School for Girls in Baghdad belongs to the First Rissaffa Educational Directorate, for the academic year (2015 - 2016) [First Semester]. The sample consists of (70) female students divided into classes, one of them resembles the experimental group, and the second resembles the controlling one. Each group, in turn, includes (35) female students. Section B has been taught the scientific concepts by using Eshykawa’s strategy, and section (A) has been taught the scientific concepts by using the traditional approach.The two groups have been rewarded by certain variables : age, scientific achievement in (Science) for the fourth primary class, the scores of previous achievement test, the scores of intelligence test, the parent’s achievement. In addition, for adopting the experiment, the researcher has decided (20) basic concepts within the first and second units from the textbook of the fifth primary class. The behavioral objectives have been designed as three levels for processes of acquiring the concepts; they are : definition, distinction, and application. The behavioral objectives are (60) and they have been used in writing the lesson plans for teaching relying on the independent variable.The researcher has prepared a test for acquiring the scientific concepts for it is the ‘tool’ of the research. The items of the test are (60) in the light of processes of acquiring the three concepts : definition, distinction, and application. The validity of the test has been checked, and even its reliability and the power to discriminate, the difficult level of its items, and the effectiveness of its variables have been checked.After ending the research experiment, the test of acquiring the scientific concepts has been applied for the female students of both (experimental and controlling) groups.Moreover, a statistical treatment for the data has been implemented by using the (t - test) for two independent samples. Consequently, the results have shown the excellence of the experimental group - which has been taught the scientific concepts by using Eshykawa’s Strategy - on the controlling group which has been taught the same concepts but by using the traditional approach. In the light of the results of this study, a number of concluding remarks have been got concerning the results and teaching output when using Eshykawa’s Strategy, and there are related recommendations, then, some suggestion shave been set for future researches in this aspect

Poetry also is the genre that draws on creating a full range of archaisms, dialects, as well as originates vivid new metaphors along with modeling and ordering rhythms Teaching poetry should pay considerable attention to the poetic rich and multilayered language with the aim of conveying a message. In the EFL classes, teaching poetry strategies are essential to both teachers and students. For teachers, these strategies are used to maximize their awareness towards poetry. They try to inspire the students’ inner and outer world around them. For the students, these poetry strategies help them to get beyond preconceived notions about poetry. Thus, it is necessary for teachers to include these literary and poetry strategies in EFL teaching to enrich the students’ learning. Literature reading strategies are important components in EFL learning, and they can influence EFL University students' achievement. The present study, therefore, aims at finding out1. the effect of JOIN strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' achievement in poetry.2. the effect of SHOW strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' achievement in poetry.3. the effect of JOIN strategy on Iraqi EFL university students’ literature reading strategies4. the effect of SHOW strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' literature reading strategies To achieve the study aims, the following two null hypotheses have been formulated : 1. There are no statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy in the achievement posttest in poetry 2. There are no statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy in literature reading strategies. The study demands quasi experimental design which is non - randomized control group posttest design. Lesson plans on how to teach according to the two strategies JOIN and SHOW have been designed. A questionnaire on literature reading strategies and an achievement posttest are constructed to collect data. The questionnaire consists of 60 items while the test includes six questions : some are objective and others are subjective. The first question has 16 items and it is multiple - choice, the second question includes 10 True/False items while the third one has 10 matching items. As for the fourth, fifth, and sixth questions, they are (writing composition) production questions. Face and content validity have been ascertained.Reliability coefficients have also been ascertained using two methods : Alpha Cronbach and scorer/intrascorer method. The items have been analyzed statistically, and the difficulty level and the discriminating power for each item have been calculated. The posttest has been applied its results analyzed statistically using Analysis of Variance and Scheffe test for post comparisons. The study sample is 119 male and female students in the third stage/ English Language Dept. /College of Education for Human Sciences/ Ibn Rushd. The study demands two experimental groups and a control one. The three groups have been matched according to the following variables : gender, age (in months) , the students' scores in the pretest, the academic level of the mother, the academic level of the father, and pre - administration of literature reading strategies. The experiment lasted three months during which the researcher herself has taught the three groups poetry in the second semester of the academic year 2014 - 2015.After the statistical treatment of the data, the results show that : 1. There are statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy and their effect on the university students' achievement in poetry in favor of the SHOW strategy.2. There are statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy and their effect on the university students' literature reading strategies in favor of the SHOW strategy. In order to achieve the research 's goal , the researcher has placed two Zero hypotheses : • There are not statistical differences between averages of three groups , the 1st group is the experimental one that studies the geography by the strategy of trainer and 2nd experimental group studies the same subject with mistakes - existing strategy and the control group studies the same subject with the traditional method in acquiring the geographic concepts.. • There are not statistical differences between averages of three groups , the 1st group is the experimental one that studies the geography by the strategy of trainer and 2nd experimental group studies the same subject with mistakes - existing strategy and the control group studies the same subject with the traditional method in acquiring geographic thinking. The researcher has followed an experimental method which is the design of the control group according to random specialization for individuals and pre - and post - tests.The researcher has randomly chosen education directorate of al - Rusafa /2 of among six directorates and by the same method. It has been chosen the Martyr Nadhim intermediate school where it has been randomly chosen three sections of students of among five sections which are ( B,C,D) and by the same method ; the section B represents 1st experimental group , section C represents 2nd experimental group and D represents the control group. The sample amounts 90 students , 30 students in the 1st experimental group who have studied with strategy of trainer , 30 students who have studied with strategy of existing - mistakes and 30 students in the control group who have studied with the traditional method. Equivalence has been carried out amongst the three groups in the variables ( test of intelligence , test of acquiring geographic concepts , former marks of geography subject, time multiplied with months and educations for the parents). It has been verified the internal and external safety for removing the effect of internal variables that could affect the followed - up variables. The educational substance in the geography subject has been specified , it has been analyzed the content of the subject as to specify the concepts the substance includes. It has been amounted 109 geographic concept. The researcher has randomly chosen 20 concepts for building a test of geographic concepts acquisition , taking into consideration the time and the stage for the students. The researcher has prepared the behavior goals that amounted 321 behavioral goal according to the three operations for acquiring the concept ( definition, distinction, application) , it has been prepared 87 studying plan , that every group has ( 29) plan ; besides, it has been prepared a test for acquiring the geographical concepts. The test includes 60 item of multi - test and its psychometric properties. The researcher has confirmed validity and consistence of the test. The researcher has prepared list of geographical thinking skills and then he has exposed them to the experts. Based on their recommendation, the researcher has built a test of geographical thinking acquisition that includes 32 items. The researcher has confirmed validity and consistence of the test and its psychometric aspects. The two tests have been applied after the end of experiment that continued for one studying year as of 11/10/2015 up to 15/3/2016.. Two null hypotheses have been posed : 1) No statistically significant differences on a level of 0.05 of significance between the mean scores of the experimental group acquisition which is taught by the SWOM strategy, and that of the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy. 2) No statistically significant differences on a level of 0.05 of significance between the mean scores of the experimental group which is taught by the SWOM strategy, and that of the control group which is taught by the traditional strategy in divergent thinking. The present study is limited to 2nd year college students, Department of Educational Psychological Sciences at the University of Wasit, morning studies during the academic year 2013 - 2014. the prescribed textbook is Developmental Psychology for the academic year 2013 - 2014. The sample of the present study consists of 70 males and females distributed on two sections, one is set as an experimental group including 35 students, and the second is a control group including 35 students as well. The experimental group is taught by the SWOM strategy, while the control group is taught by the conventional strategy. Internal and external validity of the experimental design has been proved by identifying the variables affecting the two dependent variables. Behavioral objectives have been formulated totalling as 107 and 26 psychological concepts. Lessons plans have been prepared including 62 for the two groups based on two parts with 14 chapters from their prescribed textbook entitles Developmental Psychology for 2nd year. A pre - post test for divergent thinking has been constructed, as well as psychological concept test of 78 items measuring six levels of Bloom's taxonomy of the cognitive domain has been designed. The test includes MCQ items measuring the following processes of psychological concepts' acquisition : identifying the concepts, recognizing the concept, applying the concept. Validity, item difficulty, item discrimination power, and reliability have all been achieved. The divergent thinking test includes 28 subjective items distributed on 7 domains which are : verbal, expressive, correlational, and thinking fluency; spontaneous flexibility, adaptation, and originality. Validity, item difficulty level, item discrimination power, and reliability have all been proved. Suitable statistical methods have been employed such as two - independent samples, t - test used to equalize the two groups and finding out the statistical differences between the two groups. Results show the superiority of the experimental group which is taught by the SWOM strategy in the acquisition of psychological concepts and the divergent thinking tests in Developmental Psychology. In the light of the above results, the researcher arrived at suitable conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions of further studies.

It is an interesting media in teaching speaking. It is hybrid between a research paper and an oral presentation. It is visual medium that is used to communicate a key idea related to research. It presents an idea in verbal and graphic ways and a dynamic way to share information in a social context with conference delegates.It combines text, graphs, tables, photos, charts, titles, and brief textual summaries of research information to present work in a way that is visually interesting, accessible, and clarity of content. It allows displaying work to a large group and to talk to and receive feedback from in interest audiences.The study aims at finding out the effect of poster presentation on Iraqi EFL University students' oral performance. It is hypothesized that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group which is taught according to poster presentation technique and that of the control group which is taught according to the currently used technique in their oral performance.The procedures undertaken in the present study include choosing a pre - post control group design; selecting a representative sample which has been divided into two groups experimental and control; constructing an oral post test, and securing its validity, reliability and practicality; applying the classroom students - made poster presentation technique on the experimental group, while the control group has been taught conversation by the currently used technique; administering the post test to both groups at the end of the experimental work; collecting , computing and analyzing data by using suitable statistical tools; and The sample of the present study consists of 101 students from the Department of English Language at the College of Education/ Wasit University during the academic year 2014 - 2015. The sample has been distributed into an experimental group of 48 students and a control group of 53 students. Both groups have been equalized in some variables, namely age, gender, parents’ level of education, and the pre test.A post test has been designed and exposed to a jury of experts for the purpose of ascertaining its face validity, while reliability has been ensured by using Person Correlation Formula. Data has been analyzed by using the two independent samples t - test. Results show that there are statistically significant differences between the two groups in their mean score in favor of the experimental group which has been taught by poster presentation. The students of the experimental group are better than those of the control one in their oral performance. This indicates that teaching conversation by using the poster presentation technique is more effective than teaching by the currently used technique method. Based on the present study results, suitable conclusions, recommendations, and several suggestions for further research have been put forward.

Benefit from the goals that have been built in the current research, educational units, they are placed in the book for future editions, service for the student, teacher and reseacher.2. Develop achieved the goals that carries the vertebrae isachieved through a simple content of the book.3. Work on the revision of the content of the book in achieving the goals which have earned the low rates, and did not carry any unrealized paragraph.4. Directing an open questionnaire for the members of the questioning sample for collecting a number of items.? Investigating the members' answers in the questioning sample as items (indicators) after excluding some of the similar or repeated ones.On that respect, the researcher has concluded the items of the questionnaire in its initiative form, and it includes seven domains as well as (133) items.After checking the reliability and validity, it becomes consisting of (116) items distributed into seven domains/ The objectives domain has five criteria of 21 indicators, The objectives domain has four criteria of 21 indicators, The activity domain has four criteria of 20 indicators/ The evaluation domain includes three criteria and 11 indicators, The preparation and synthesis domain includes two criteria of seven indicators, and The language of the book, and its production domain includes two criteria with twenty two indicators, and finally, The photos and arts domain includes two criteria of 11 indicators.Moreover, the researcher has stated five alternatives for each indicator for the responding person to choose only one alternative; the alternatives are : The first one is (with a very high degree), the second one is (with a high degree), the third one is (with an intermediate degree), the fourth one is (with a low degree), and the fifth one is (with a very low degree).It is worth mentioning that the researcher has used suitable statistical ways throughout the processes of the research, and data treatment for that he has achieved; they are : Pearson correlation cofficient, Fisher formula, and the percentage weight.The researcher has achieved different and various conclusions, from which he has drawn the following points : 1. The Arabic Reading book for the fourth primary class has been the best one among the three books - the questioning sample of the research - for achieving the accepted level of quality criteria.2. Abstract: يرمي هذا البحث الى معرفة اثر استراتيجية اليد النشطة في تحصيل مادة الاجتماعيات لدى تلامذة الصف الخامس الابتدائي. ولتحقيق هدف البحث صاغت الباحثة الفرضية الصفرية الاتية : ليس هناك فرق ذو دلالة احصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0,05) بين متوسط درجات تلامذة المجموعة | The present study aims at identifying the Effect of the Hand - on Strategy in the Achievement of Social studies at the Fifth Grade Primary School.To achieve the objective , the researcher formulated null hypotheses : There is no statistically difference significant at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who have studied by the hand - on strategy and between the average scores of the control group who studied the same material in the traditional method in the achievement.The researcher depend on a partial seizure experimental design a (design of the experimental group and a control group of the post - teat) and the researcher chose the students of the fifth grade from the primary school (Abdull bin Maktoum) a mixed school in one of the Education directorate school / AL - Russafa The second / Baghdad , for the academic year (2014 - 2015) and that for the purpose of application the experiment , the sample consisted of (72) male and female from the fifth grad student , by (36) one in the experiment group that taught according to the Hand - on strategy , and (36) of the student in the control group that they were taught by the traditional method.The researcher equalized between the two groups before starting the experience in some of variables are (pre - knowledge test , the grades of the social studies material for the previous year , IQ level , Academic achievement for the parents , and the age in months) , the material that going to be taught has been identified which included the first chapters of the social studies which included the whale article of the Geography that going to be taught to the Fifth Grad Primary for theyear 2015 , Than the researcher formed the behavioral goals that included (80) behavioral goal in light of the overall goals and according to (Bloom) classification for the knowledge domain of three levels (knowledge , understanding , application). The researcher prepared plans for teaching the subjects that should be taught for the both of the search groups studied , and for the search tool the researcher prepared an Achievement objective test a multiple - choice type that included (30) paragraph according to the map test (table specifications) , and the researcher confirmed from its sincerity and persistence and its psychometric properties. The researcher applied the experience in the first semester of the academic year (2014 - 2015) A.D on Wednesday (29/10/2014) and the experience ended on Monday (12/1/2015) as the researcher applied the achievement post - test , the experiment lasted for 10 week by two lessons per week for each group , and the two groups were taught by the researcher herself. To handling the data statistically the researcher depended the (T - test) and the results showed : There is a statistically difference significant at the level of (0,05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who have studied by the Hand - on strategy and between the average scores of the control group who studied the same material in the traditional method and in the advantage of the experimental group in the achievement. In the light of the outcome the researcher concluded : That the Hand - on strategy has the positive effect in the social studies material with the students of the fifth grade primary , so this strategy is more effective than the traditional method.The researcher recommended a number of recommendations are : 1. Seminar and training courses for the teachers included the subject of the Active Learning strategies included the Hand - on strategy.2. Create the Social studies material according to the Active learning by giving the learners more space for creativity and participation.3. Supplies the Active learning equipment that help the success of the teaching process according to the modern strategies.4. Dependence the Hand - on strategy in the teaching social studies (geography) at the primary school because of its properties and the positive effect in raising the level of achievement.The researcher proposed : 1. Conducting studies that dealing with the Hand - on strategy on a different materials and study stages and its effect on different following like the kinetic intelligence , the retention , and the trend toward the material.2. The present study was confined to the students of fifth literary branch in the Markaziya secondary school for Girls in (30) students for the control group the Secondary school of Khadija Al - Kubra in (30) students. The two groups were matched in the variables of (age, IQ, previous information test, basic science processes pretest, previous knowledge in geography, and parent acquisition). The researcher prepared two tools for the dependent variable; the first is the achievement test made up of 40 of test items in 38 items to measure the behavioral objectives (knowledge, understanding, evaluation). The second tool represent the adaptation of the scale (Seshro and Widenson, 1994). Which is adjusted to the Arab environment by the researchers (Al - Jarah and Abaedat, 2011). It consists of ((42) items( of fivefold). The experiment lasted for one academic year 2/11/2014 - 15/4/2015. The researcher lasted for the two groups. At the end of the experiment the researcher applied the achievement test on the two groups of study. After grading the answer sheets, they were subject to statistical process by the use of t - test. The results showed the following : 1. The excel of the experimental group who studied the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program prepared according to the information process over the students of the control group who study in the same subject in the traditional methods in the achievement of natural geography.2. The excel of the experimental group who studied the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program prepared according to the information process over the students of the control group who study in the same subject in the traditional methods in the metacognition test.In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher comes up to the following findings : 1. There is a need for the students of the preparatory school for pedagogical program according to the theory that the upper mental processes that enhance the learner in the pedagogical processes.2. The effectiveness of the pedagogical information according to the theory of information processing in developing the metacognition skills and the increase of the achievement in geography. 3. The benefit from the theory of information processing and the strategy in teaching natural geography for the stage. The researcher recommends : 1. The necessity of making benefit of the information processing and the strategy in teaching natural geography for the stage. 2. To achieve this aim, the researcher has followed the descriptive research methods by selecting the research sample, male and female geography teachers (106). They form (5%) of the total research population consisting of males (647) and females (1487). They are geography teachers from intermediate schools affiliated to Baghdad directorates of Iraq Ministry of Education. Then, the researcher has made a checklist of the teaching efficiencies of the effective teacher of geography. It includes (42) efficiencies within (4) areas. The validity of the list items has been ensured by a jury of experts in the fields of teaching methodology and measurement and evaluation. The checklist has been used by the researcher when observing the research sample within a period of time extending from 1 December 2015 to 15 March 2016. Inter - rater reliability is established and the degree of agreement is (0.83), (0.81), (0.76), (0.88). For data analysis, the following methods are used : the Fisher formula and Chi - square. The results are as follows : out of (42) efficiencies, (33) are used. The researcher has explained the reasons why (9) efficiencies are not used.Conclusions : 1 - The male and female teachers of Geography have a level of the effective teacher efficiencies that is acceptable according to the educational standards. 2 - The female teachers of Geography have a level of the effective teacher efficiencies higher than that of the male teachers. Recommendations : 1 - It is necessary for the male and female teachers of Geography at the intermediate schools to pay attention to the practical aspects and skills when teaching Geography by using models of instruments and maps and drawing maps.2 - It is necessary for the Ministry of Education to organize courses on the effective teaching efficiencies for the Geography teachers. Suggestions : 1 - Studying the evaluation of the effective teaching efficiencies for the Geography teachers from the perspectives of the Geography supervisors or the school principals. 2 - Studying the effective teaching efficiencies for the Geography teachers in other educational stages.

Abstract: تهدف هذه الدراسة الى ايجاد اثر استراتيجيتي Fishbone and FQIP في تحصيل طلبة الجامعة العراقيين دارسي اللغة الانكليزية لغة اجنبية في الرواية خلال : 1 - تحديد اثر استراتيجية Fishbone في تحصيل طلبة الجامعة العراقيين دارسي اللغة الانكليزية لغة اجنبية في الرواية. | This study is an attempt to find out the impact of fishbone and FQIP strategies on Iraqi EFL university students' achievement in novel through achieving the following aims : 1. Identifying the impact of Fishbone strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' achievement in novel,2. Identifying the impact of FQIP strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' achievement in novel, and 3. Finding out the difference between the first experimental group and the second experimental group achievement in novel. Nine null - hypotheses have been formulated in this study. In order to verify these hypotheses and achieve the stated aims, the following procedures have been adopted. 1. The behavioral objectives for the whole syllabus of the novel Pride and Prejudice are prepared after making a content analysis of 61 chapters (Volume 1, 2, 3) which have been studied by third year EFL university students and according to Revised Bloom's Taxonomy and in accordance with three levels (Analysis, Evaluation and Creativity) 2. A pre - test is designed for equalizing the three groups in their previous knowledge in fiction. 3. Daily lesson plans with general objectives, behavioral objectives and instructional procedures for teaching the novel Pride and Prejudice are prepared for each group of the study.4. An achievement test has been constructed which involved a written part and an oral part. 5. Two rating scales have been constructed, one for scoring the written test and the other for the oral test. The tests and plans have been exposed to a number of jurors who agreed on their content validity and face validity. The adopted post - test has been administrated to the selected sample of 98 third year EFL students in the College of Education at the University of Samarra. Results obtained by statistical treatment of data have shown that : 1. There is statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the first experimental group taught according to Fishbone strategy and that of the control group which is taught according to the conventional method in their achievement in novel on the oral test in favor of the first experimental group.2. There is statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the second experimental group which taught according to FQIP strategy and that of the control group which is taught according to the conventional method in their achievement in novel on the oral test in favor of the second experimental group. 3. There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the first experimental group and the second experimental group in their achievement in novel on the oral test.4. There is statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the first experimental group taught according to Fishbone strategy and that of the control group which is taught according to the conventional method in their achievement in novel on the written test in favor of the first experimental group.5. There is statistically significant difference between the mean score of the second experimental group which taught according to FQIP strategy and that of the control group which is taught by the conventional method in their achievements in novel on the written test in favor of the second experimental group.6. There is no statistically significant difference between the mean score of the first experimental group and second experimental group in their achievement in novel on the written test.7. There is statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught according to Fishbone strategy and that of the control group which is taught according to the conventional method in their overall achievement on novel in favor of the first experimental group.8. There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the second experimental group which is taught according to FQIP strategy and that of the control group which is taught according to the conventional method in their overall achievement in novel in favor of the second experimental group.9. There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the first experimental group and that of the second experimental group in their overall achievement in novel in favor of the second experimental group which taught according to FQIP strategy.The study ends up with a number of recommendations and suggestions which are based on the obtained results.

To achieve the target Find researcher two approaches : the descriptive approach in the construction of educational and experimental approach to identify the effectiveness of the program in the tutorial in the collection of material sociology lateral thinking among students fourth grade literary development adopted.This research was limited to students in the fourth grade literary high schools and prep day for girls in Baghdad's Karkh Directorate of Education / third for the academic year 2015 - 2016. Researcher determined experimentally adopted a partial seizure (the control group) experimental group a posttest. The sample of research (84) female students from the fourth grade in junior high moral victory for girls, by distributors (42) students in the experimental group and 42 students in the control group. The parity between students of the two sets of conducting research in the variables (chronological age measured in months, the educational attainment of the parents, intelligence, lateral thinking, academic achievement in the previous year (2014 - 2015). He studied the researcher herself students two sets of research during the duration of the experiment, which lasted full academic year, and has prepared tools to measure the dependent variables, first was the achievement test which consisted of two questions : The first objective of the multiple choice be (30) paragraph test to measure levels (knowledge, understanding , application) and second pans consists of (20) items to measure the levels (analysis, installation, evaluation) of Bloom's Taxonomy. The second tool was the side test which consisted of (20) paragraph scale Applied the tools at the end of the experiment after it has been verified - khasaisma psychometric, and after analyzing the data using Altaia test for two independent samples (T - test) results showed the following : 1. There is a statistically significant difference between the average level students in the two sets of research achievement test, for the experimental group.2. There is a statistically significant difference between the average level students two sets of research in the development of lateral thinking, for the experimental group. In light of the search results researcher it recommended a number of conclusions and recommendations and proposals.

Abstract: يهدف البحث الحالي الى معرفة (اثر انموذجي كوسكروف والسقالات التعليمية في اكتساب مفاهيم علم النفس التربوي والتفكير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلبة كلية التربية) ولتحقيق هدفي البحث وضعت الباحثة الفرضيتين الصفريتين الاتيتين.1 - لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة احصائية عند مستوى | This study aims at investigating (the impact of kowskrof and the education scoffolds models in acquiring the concepts of educational psychology and beyond - knowledge thinking for the students of college of education), and for achieving the two objectives of the research, the researcher has stated the following two zero hypotheses : 1 - There is no difference of a statistical indication between the average of scores of the students in the first empirical group who have studied according to kowskrowf model, and the average of scores of the students in the second empirical group who have studied the same subject but using the educational scoffolds, and the average of scores of the students in the controlling group who have studied by using the traditional approach for the same topic in acquiring the scientific concepts. 2 - There is no difference of a statistical indication between the average of scores of the students in the first empirical group who have studied according to Kowskrowf model, and the average of scores of the students in the second empirical group who have studied the same subject but using the education scoffolds, and the average of scores of the students in the controlling group who have studied by using the traditional approach for the same topic concerning beyond - knowledge thinking. Chapter two includes a theoretical frame of the construction theory, Kowskrowf model, the educational scoffolds model, and beyond - knowledge thinking, while chapter tree includes previous studies and a balance among them. The researcher has relyed on the emoerical design of the partial controlling and the dimensional test as a design for the research. The researcher has intentionally chosen a sample of the second morning class student from Department of Education and psychological sciences at college of Edncation / Al - Mustansiryah University and College of Education/ Ibn Rushd for Humanities at University of Baghdad in the academic year (2015 - 2016) to be a field study for applying the current experiment. The sanple consists of (105) student [male & female] which inclindes empirical and controlling group. Applying the randon drawing way, the researcher has chosen section (B) to represent the first empirical group which has (35) students, and they have studied Educational psychology following the steps of kowskrowf model. While section (A) resemldes the second empirical group which has (35) students who have studied the same subject but following the steps of Educational scoffolds model. Because there is nothird section in the Department of Edncational & psychological sciences/ college of edncation/ Al - Mustansiryah University the researcher intends to choose the third section from the Depontment of Educational & psychological sciences/ Morining studies/ college of Education for Humanities as section (C)to resemble the controlling group which inclndes (35) students (male and female) who have studies the same topic by using the traditional approach. The two groups have equivalent concerning certain wariables : (age, intelligence, beyond - knowledgc thinking, acquiring cencepts). Then she [the researeher] has decided the scientific topic intended to be taught for the second stage students during a whole academic year which consists of (10 - 12) chapters for the Educational psychology for the academic year (215 - 2016). In the light of the content of syllabus, the researcher has designed (189) behavioral objectives covering the three domains (Definition, Distnction, and Application). The reseatcher has made use of the behavioral objectives in designing and writing the lesson plans for each group. Moreover, the researcher has designed of (90) items of objective guestions of the kind multiple choice with four uariables.The psychermetric characteristics of the test have been chected [It is resembled by the face validity, and content validity and its distinction affectbility and complexity and the affectability of the wrony alternatives. On the other have, the researcher has studied the three groups of the study herself, and the experinnent started on Monday (3rd of November, 2014) and it ended on Wednesday (5th May, 2015) which has been applied for the three group of the study, and for treating the data statistically, the researcher has used anova analysis and sheffe test for dimensional comparisous. The study has shown the following results : 1 - The excellence of the students in the first experimented group - who have been taught the Educational Psychiligy by using kowskrowf model - on the students of the second experimental group who have been taught the same subict but by using the educational scoffolds model in acqniring the concepts and beyond - knowledge thinking.2 - The excellence of the students in the first experimental group - who have studied Educational psychology by using kowskrowf model as well as the second experimental group students who have studied the same subject adopting the educational scofolds model - on the students of the controlling group who have studied the same subject by using the traditional approach in acquiring the concepts and beyoud - knowledge thinking.In the light of the results, the researcher has stated the following conclusins and recommendations : The conclusions : 1 - The reliability of the modern teaching models that are derived from the constructing theory and problemsolving strategy in the educational process has a great influence on raising the achievement level and enhancing the thinking skills.2 - Teaching with the use of kowskrowf and Edncational ecofolds models has agneater effect than the traditional approach concerning as for as raising the students' achievement level is concerned.3 - The excellence of the two models is not only limited to the raising of the achievement level in Educational psychology, but also it has contributed in enhanciy beyond - knoulledge thinking skills when compared with the traditional approach.4 - The implementation of the two models steps has motivated the studrnts and inctrased cooperation among them, and participation when compared to the traditional approach.Recommenlations : 1 - The reliability of the teaching model which apply the constructive theory - like kowskrowf & educational scoffolds models in teaching Edsucational psychology and the other subjects as well for what have been found out throght out this study and its great effect on the achienement level and begond - knowledge thinking.2 - Refraining from the traditional ways in teaching Educational psychology and making use of kowskrowf and Educational secoffolds models for they contribute in raising the student's achierement level and beyoud - knowledge thinking.?Suggestions : 1 - Accomplishing a similar study for knowing the impact of kowsrowf and the Edncational scoffolds models in enhancing other kinds of thinking like : the scientific thinking, critical thinking, and the creative thinking.2 - Accomplishing a comparative study between kowskrowf model, Educational scoffolds model and the other teaching models to know the best.3 - Accomplishing a similar study to know the impact of kowskrowf model and Education scoffolds model in acquiring and the achievement of other subjects and the study stages for checking their affectaility.

The aim of research can not be achieving unless formulate the following two zero hypotheses : 1 - There is no difference statistically significant at the level (0.05) between the average scores of students - teachers in the experimental group who undergone the training program and the average score of the students - teachers who have not undergone the training program in scale of the teaching performance.2 - There is no difference statistically significant at the level (0.05) between the average scores for the students whom were learned by the training students - teachers and the average score of students whom were learned by the students - teachers who are not undergone the training program in the pivotal thinking test. The researcher choses the experimental design of a partial adjusting for two groups ( experimental & controlling groups ) with posterior test to each of the teaching performance for the students - teachers and the pivotal thinking test for their students the experimental groups were exposed to training program while the controlling group not exposed to training program. The community and the sample of the current research limited onstudents - teachers in Babylon University - College of Basic Education ; Science Department ; Branch of Biology (four stage) amounting to (65) students for the academic year 2015 - 2016 A.D. The researcher Droped out students - teachers whom completed the studying in teachers preparing institute their number (5) students the depending on in formation list which distributed for them, the sample of the research was chosen a random (random manner simple drag) of students - teachers and the students distributed randomly into two groups : experimental (undergone the training program) amounting to (30) students - teachers and (29) student - teacher for the controlling group (not undergone the training program) , after drop out one students from the controlling group because he failure in current stage, bringing the number of the sample was (59) a student's - teachers. The researcher equalizing between the two groups of research in the variables : (Intelligence test, the mark for students in test of previous information in general teaching methods , the mark for students in test in general teaching methods in academic year 2014 - 2015 A.D. achievement in the previous ,as well as to some non - experimental variables that could affect the safety of the training program. The community of pupils includes all the fifth - grade pupils primary schools in the General Directorate for Education in the province of Babylon , for the academic year 2015/2016Am.The sample of pupils will selected randomly and non - equivalent in number by the random manner simple drag from the fifth primary pupils for each student - teacher who had been learned by the sample of student - teacher during the application period. except the failure in their grade last year.because for each student - teacher a different number of pupils. so that the number of pupils was (150) pupils in each of experimental and controlling group to became (300) pupils for two groups to apply the test of the pivotal thinking in science subject for the two ( experimental and controlling group) at the end of the application period in the end of the second semester. The training program was built according to three stages : (The planning ( input ) ,the implementation (operation),and evaluation(output) stages). And then display his image on the initial group of arbitrators to check it before we start applying it and to take advantage of the notes are and make the necessary adjustments to it, as was the training program prepared to teach thinking skills applied students - teachers (experimental group) in the Department of Science rooms at the College of Basic Education - University of Babylon, which are (12) a week, the time of the training session of three hours per week at a rate of 36 hours of training ,the training program were distributed to the students - teachers before starting the implementation of the suggested training program. Regarding research tools ,for the first tool the researcher adopted the (note card ) which prepared by (Makawen , 2009) because it is suitable for the aims of our research which contains (53) items distributed into three areas ( planning , implementation and evaluation) with fifth estimate the researcher doing some changes contain (10) items in order to make it a suitable for teaching the thinking skills, and the second tool was the pivotal thinking test of essay type which was contains (38) items in a final shape.Then the researcher determined the psychometric characteristics for it. The researcher used the following statistical tools : ( t - Test , Chi - square, Pearson correlation coefficient , alpha - Cronbach equation ,equation of difficulty and discrimination paragraphs coefficient ,and the impact size equation. After the data statistically analysis ,the results revealed that : 1 - Superiority the students - teachers in the experimental group on the students - teachers in controlling group in teaching performance according to the note card.2 - Superiority of pupils of students - teachers in the experimental group on pupils of students - teachers in controlling group in pivotal thinking test. The researcher put many conclusion about the impact of the suggested training program for learning thinking skills to qualify the teaching performance for students - teachers to giving them the necessary teaching skills for science teaching in terms of their ability to prepare daily lessons , and converted into behavioral patterns of being able to create an effective learning environment encourages teamwork through education process , and contributes to the formation of positive attitudes towards science teaching. The researcher also recommended the need to train of science teachers to learn and teach the topics of thinking and thinking skills either before or during teaching job through training courses to enable them to teach thinking skills to their pupils through their teaching materials which they teach because of its impact in achieving the educational aims of various kinds. For complementing research the researcher suggested doing a similar study to the current study to train science teachers in various disciplines in chemistry , physics and mathematics during teaching job and the statement of its impact on the performance of teaching and pivotal thinking of their pupils at the primary stage and other subsidiary variables because the lack of studies on this subject

"The aims of this research is : 1 - Building an instructional design according to the Differentiated instruction strategies.2 - Verification of the impact of instructional design is built according to the Differentiated instruction strategies on the Achievement of Biology subject for a female students of fourth Grade scientific Branch.3 - Verification of the impact of instructional design is built according to the Differentiated instruction strategies on the cognitive failure for a female students of fourth Grade scientific BranchAnd to realization of this aims ,the following two zero hypothesis are set : 1 - There is no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group who studied according to the instructional design is built according to theDifferentiated instruction strategies and the average of the control group who studied with the normal way, in the achievement test.2 - There is no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group who studied according to the instructional design is built according to the Differentiated instruction strategies and the average of the control group who studied with the normal way, in cognitive failures questionnaire (CFQ).In order to validate these two hypotheses, the researcher built an instruction design and executed an experiment took full academic year. The researcher adopter the experimental method adopted of equal groups with a post - test, to biology subject and the cognitive failure questionnaire for the female students. the research sample represented by the fourth grade scientific Branch female students in one in one of the morning hight schools belong to Directorate of Baghdad's Education / 1st Al - Rusafa, distributed to two sections, one is represented the experimental group (35 students) studied by the instructional design according to the differentiated instruction strategies, and the other represented the control group (35 students), the two groups are equaled in the variable (intelligence, age, previous information, former achievement of biology subject, cognitive failure).The researcher prepare the two tools of research, one is a test of achievement in the Biology subject contained (60) item, (44) item objective type (multiple choice), and (16) essay. The second tool consisted cognitive failure questionnaire (CFQ) of Broadbent and his colleagues 1982 adopted by the researcher and translated with translateand Reverse Translate way , and it has been the expense of Validity and calculate the difficulty , distinctive power and the effective of wrong alternatives of them and then it has been found the reliability of tools using (Cronbach's alpha ).The experience lasted for full academic year, and the researcher taught the two groups of search by herself, after the completion of the experiment the results were analyzed statistically by recourse to Statistical Package SPSS , and using the (t - test) for two independent equal sample, the results have shown; Superiority the performance of the experimental group over the control group in each of the achievement test and measure of cognitive failure. Thus, it was rejected the two zero hypotheses to current research, with these results the researcher concluded that the instructional design that built according to the differentiated instruction have positive impact in the Achievement of Biology subject for a female students of fourth Grade scientific Branch , and in reducing the cognitive failure.In light of this, the researcher put a number of recommendations and suggestions based on search results.

Abstract: The present study intends to identify the effect of the over lapping waves strategy on the expressive writing of the fifth class literary students. To achieve this, an experimental design of partial accuracy - the control group and the serial post - test have been used. The sample of the study consisted of 65 students of the fifth literary class in AL - Sidddeq Secondary School for Boys/ General Directorate of Education in Babylon.The student were divided into two groups ; 32 students in the experimental group and 33 in the control group. The researcher taught the experimental group according to the over lapping waves strategy and the control group according to the traditional way.Students were matched according to the following variables : chronological age, parents education, the students' final marks of the fourth literary class at the year 2014/2015 , and the test of linguistic knowledge. An attempt was made, then, to control some of the extraneous variables that might effect on the experimental design as showed by some literatures.A questionnaire of 12expressive topics was constructed and submitted to experts in order to choose 6 expressive topics to be used to test students in the expressive test.A standardized tool was used to measure students expressive writing , series of expressive writing tests were made to be applied on the students of the two groups (experimental and control ), The writings were to be scored according to AL - Hashmi soring criteria (1994).Using T - test for independent samples, analysis has yielded the following results : There is a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the experimental group who were taught the expressive writing according to the over lapping waves strategy and that of the control group who were taught the expressive writing according to the traditional method ,This significant is to the experimental group.On the basis of these findings, it is concluded that teaching according to the over lapping waves strategy is so effective in raising the level of the expressive writing of the fifth class literary students.It is recommended that teachers of Arabic should be acquainted with over lapping waves strategy when teaching expressive writing to the students of the preparatory stagy, avoid indoctrination and imposing their ideas and solutions , and help students to attain information by themselves.It is suggested that some of the literatures, concerning the over lapping waves strategy, should be conducted to identify its effect on the expressive writing of students of other stages.

The researcher has conducted the experimental design of partial control (experimental and control ) groups of dimensional testing.In the light of the experimental design , the researcher has selected a random sample of pupils of fifth grade of Al - Shareef Al - Murtadha primary school for boys in Ali - Al - Gharbi province subsidiary to the General Directorate of Maysan Education for the academic year (2016 - 2017) (First Term ) to apply the current paper.The sample of the paper has come to (60) pupils who have been distributed on two grades to represent firstly experimental group and secondly control group.Each group consists of (30) pupils. The researcher has selected randomly section (A) to represent the experimental group and section (B) to represent control group where experimental group has studied the scientific concepts by using the strategy of creative drama and control group studied scientific concepts by using traditional method. The equivalence has been used between the two groups including the following variables (age time by months , intelligence , previous knowledge , parent education).To conduct the experiment , the researcher has specify (20) concepts within three units ( first , second , third) out of the textbook of sciences for fifth grade primary school.The behavioral objectives have been drawn up by three levels of scientific concepts according to processes of its acquisition (concept definition , concept discrimination , concept application). These objectives has come to (60) , the items have come to (60 ) ones , the researcher has made sure of the validity and reliability , measure of coefficient of difficulty of items by using special formulae for each.The researcher also has found the coefficient of test validity by using partial fragmentation and by using Pearson correlation coefficient and it has been corrected by Spareman and Brown. After completing the experiment the scientific concept acquisition test has been used on both groups and the data have been processed statistically by using (T - Test) for two independent samples. The results show that the experimental group has excelled on control group.In the light of the above result , the researcher has come to relevant conclusion , recommendations and suggestions for further reading.

There isno difference statistically significant at the level of (05, 0) between the average of grades of the experimental group students who have studied using the strategy (Listen - Read - discuss) and average of grades of the control group students who have studied by using the traditional method in assimilation. 2. The sample consists of 54 students, chosen randomly, by (32) for the experimental group who has studied in accordance with the strategy (Listen - Read - discuss ), and (22) for the control group students who has studied in accordance with the traditional method equivalence has been conducted between the two groups of research in variables : grades of the subject " History" in the previous year, marks of intelligence test , grades of former knowledge test, education for the father and mother, chronological age measured in months After specifying the subject ( educational material), which included two chapters (I and II) from of the Book of the Arab - Islamic history, the researcher has formulated behavioral objectives, reaching 150 goals, then he has prepared teaching plans in order to achieve what objectives have been formulated , where it is mounted (20) teaching plan for each group , the researcher he has studied the research's two groups throughout the duration of the experiment, which began on 3/11/2015 and ended on 10/1/2016 Researcher has prepared achievement test consisting of (40) objective items of the multi - test on the two groups of the research dated (10/1/2016), then he re - apply the same test after passing (21) days , dated 6.1.2016 ); for measuring the assimilation. After the end of the experiment and carrying out test of assimilation andtest of collection , the researcher has collected data and has analyzed statistically using T - test for two independent samples and results indicated as follows 1. There is statistic difference t at the level of (05, 0) between the average of marks of the experimental group students who have studied by using the strategy (Listen - Read - discuss) and average of marks of the control group students who have studied by using the traditional method , for the benefit of the experimental group in assimilation. 2. There is statistical difference at the level of (05, 0) between the average of marks of the experimental group students who have studied using the strategy (Listen - Read - discuss) and average of marks of the control group students who have studied by using the traditional method for the benefit of experience group in the preceding. The researcher has concluded the most important conclusions : 1. Abstract: This research aims to Identify "the Effectiveness of the spectrum colours in developing the critical reading skills and the innovative reading of fourth literal female - students".To achieve this goal, the researcher put the following two null hypotheses : The first hypotheses : there is no statistical difference between the marks average of the experimental female - students group who study the reading material according to the spectrum colours program and the marks average of the controlling female - students group who study the material according to the conventional program in developing the critical reading skills.The second hypotheses : there is no statistical difference between the marks average of the experimental female - students group who study the reading material according to the spectrum colours program and the marks average of the controlling female - students group who study the material according to the conventional program in developing the innovative reading skills.The researcher adopted the experimental design with the partial control to identify the Effectiveness of the spectrum colours as a design to study it ; it is the design of the non - random selection control group of the two pre and post tests.Concerning the research sample, the researcher selected one of the preparatory school for girls which is related to the educational directorate of first Risafa, and it is Bint Al - huda which is related to Al Rashidiya zone.The number of the female - students was (65) female - students of the fourth literal grade in Bint Al - huda preparatory school, (34) female - students in the experimental group and (31) in the control group, the researcher conducted a valence in the variables between them (the chronological age, the academic achievement of parents, language ability test, intelligence ability test).Preparing the study requirements : 1. Specifying the scientific material - the planned studying subjects - sixteen subjects of the reading material.2. Formulating the behavioral goals.3. Formulating the general goals; the general goals of the program were derived from : the general goals of the reading lesson for the secondary stage / ministry of education / the general directorate of curriculums / Arabic language unit / the educational resources and the previous studies, the goal of the instructional program (the spectrumcolours).4. Preparing the daily teaching plans to carry out the teaching program.Preparing the two tools of the study : the researcher prepared two tests, the first one : to measure the critical reading skills, concluded (16) item, and the second one : to measure the innovative reading skills, concluded (20) items, distributed on the main skills and sub - skills in this chapter, the researcher verified its validity and reliability, and extracted the distinguishing power of its items, and its difficulty coefficient, and the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives.The experiment continued (16) weeks started at Wednesday ______ to Wednesday ______ , the researcher studied the research sample and after analyzing the data by using the t - test for two independent samples, then Cronbach Alpha equation, and Pearson correlation equation. The study came with the following results : - 1. There are differences between the marks average of the experimental female - students group who study the reading material according to the spectrum colours program according to the conventional program in developing the critical reading skills.2. There are differences between the marks average of the experimental female - students group who study the reading material according to the spectrum colours program and the marks average of the controlling female - students group who study the material according to the conventional program in developing the innovative reading skills.In the light of the results, the researcher concluded the following conclusions : - 1. Employing the spectrum colours program by its vital - training examples, led to a positive interaction from the female - students, and the effective participation during the whole duration of the experiment.2. Employing the spectrum colours program helped in raising the academic level of the female - students in the material reading.3. Employing the spectrum colours program helped in raising the thinking level with its different types among the female - students.The researcher recommended the following : - Adopting the program (The spectrum colours) in developing the critical and innovative skills in teaching the reading material among the preparatory school female - students.The researcher suggesting conducting a number of studies and scientific researches : - 1. Re - testing the teaching program (the spectrum program) in other studying stages (the elementary, the intermediate, and the university stage).2. Conducting a similar study to identify the impact of employing the spectrum colours program in other dependent variables such as : the motivation - and the orientation and the tendency towards the material, and in different branches and studying stages.

He determined the college of basic education in Mustansriya University as a place for conducting his experience. The History department includes three classrooms form which he has chosen randomly the third class to be the sample of his study; they were taught according to the program prepared in accordance the meta - cognitive strategies which amounted to 34 students after elimination. The second class was chosen to be the control group. They were taught in the conventional methods after 34 students were eliminated.The two groups of the study were matched din the variables of (age, intelligence, parent education, previous knowledge, skills of historical thinking).In order to measure the students achievement (control and experimental) for the second semester for the year 2013/2014 in the subject history of Europe 19th century, which the student taught himself, the researcher adopted a test made up of 50 items the type of multiple choice and ten items the type of short answer choice.The second tool is the test of historical skills for measuring the historical thinking for the two groups of study. The test was made up of 40 test items distributed into four questions as follow : - First question is made up of ten items the multiple choice type. - Second question made up of six items essay answer type. - Third questions is made up of two items (A) and (B) and the sum of its items is four. The answer is for each item. - Question four is made up of 20 items the type of complete the missing in short answers.The two tests were tested in terms of validity and constancy, difficulty coefficient, the easiness of, distinction and the truth of its items, and all the psychometric features.The researcher used SPSS program as well as T - test and Pearson correlation coefficient, and the difficulty and easiness coefficient, Cronbach’s alpha equation, Spearman - Brown Equation, Point Pi Serial. - Dcorrelation coefficient in processing the results statistically. The results were following : 1 - There are no statistical significant differences at the level of 0.05 in average score of the students of the experimental group who study the suggested program by the use of meta - cognitive Strategies and the average score of students of the control group who study in the conventional method in achievement test after posttest for the study the experimental group.2 - There are no statistical significant differences at the level of 0.05 in average score of the students of the experimental group who study the suggested program by the use of meta - cognitive Strategies and the average score of students of the control group who study in the conventional method in achievement test in historical posttest for the experimental group.3 - There are no statistical significant differences at the level of 0.05 in average score of the students of the experimental group who study the suggested program by the use of meta - cognitive Strategies and the average score of students of the control group who study in the conventional method in achievement test after tests (pretest - posttest) for historical thinking skills for.The most important conclusions which the researcher has come up to are : the pedagogical program according to the meta - cognitive strategies has raised the level for the students of history department in the second grade \ College of basic education. Also it led to the development of historical thinking in a better than the other methods of teaching. In addition to that, the study comes up with a number of suggestions and recommendations. The study recommends.1 - Applying the educational program according to the meta - cognitive strategies in teaching the subject history of Europe 19th century the second year students in the Department of History College of Basic. - EEducation for its role in promoting the students’ achievement and historical thinking.2 - Training history teachers in general of the meta - cognitive strategies and how to make use of the material through making graining workshop.3 - Working on finding educational programs for teaching the student for the increase their response for learning, which are modern methods in teaching.The most important suggestions of the study are the following : 1 - Make other studies about the effectiveness of the program (the meta - cognitive strategies) in the achievement of students and their motivation for learning.2 - Make other studies for other stages and subjects.3 - Study the effectiveness of the program according to the meta - cognitive strategies in teaching history on the patterns of thinking like critical thinking and innovative thinking.

In order to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher followed in the study descriptive approach methodology, analytical, deductive. And seal chapter to clarify the concepts of research in the title language and idiomatically And singled out the second quarter, came in two researches, the first part, theoretical background, which dealt with the researcher : About the emergence of citizenship and development, raising the concept of citizenship, and their components, and the second included a former local and Arab studies. The third chapter contains two sections : the researcher dealt with in the first section : the life of the faithful Imam Ali (?), and in the second : the intellectual perspective of Imam Ali. And ensure that the fourth quarter was the first of three Investigation : art researcher for some of the results of the special principles of citizenship at the thought of Imam Ali including : 1. Where they encompass the finest education that fail to be brought by the whole human ideals, they approach to the citizenship education as well as the experiments and experiences in life. 2. Imam Ali (?) give us the principle of citizenship with non - Muslims. He did not differentiate between them and the Muslims in rights and duties as long as they are committed to the state system.And recommendations, including : 1. Abstract: يهدف البحث الحالي الى : 1 - بناء انموذج تعليمي على وفق منحى النظم في مادة مبادئ الجغرافية العامة.2 - التثبت من فاعلية الانموذج التعليمي في تحصيل مادة الجغرافية، وتنمية التفكير المنظومي لدى طلاب الصف الاول المتوسط.لتحقيق هدفا البحث تم بناء انموذج تعلي | The present study aims at : 1 - making a program according to the system course in the achievement of geography.2 - The verification of the development of the systematic thinking for first grade students in intermediate stage.To achieve the two objectives of the study, an epistemological model was made according to the system course (inputs, processes, outputs, feedbacks) for the principals of the General Geography by the use of the descriptive approach. To ascertain its effectiveness, two zero hypotheses were formulated : - There is no difference of statistics at the level of 0.05 between the mean scores of experimental group students who were taught according to epistemological sample the mean score of the control group who were taught according no normal method in achievement test. - There is no difference of statistics at the level of 0.05 between the mean scores of experimental group students who were taught according to epistemological sample the mean score of the control group who were taught according no normal method in systematic thinking.In order to achieve that, the researcher depended on the partial adjustment to which is the (two equivalent group design), because it is the suitable design for application of the study. The researcher has chosen the purposeful method in selecting the sample of students from the first grade students of Al - Fajr Al - Jadeed affiliated to the Directorate General of Baghdad Education \ Rusafa III for the academic year (2014/2015), to apply his experiment. The sample was made up of (70) students as (36) for the experimental group students who were taught according to epistemological sample and (34) for the control group who were taught according no normal method. The researcher matched the two groups in terms of : age in months, intelligence level, scores of geography for the previous academic year, previous knowledge, parents’ achievement and the achievement in pretest of systematic thinking The researcher determined the scientific material to be taught which includes all the chapters of the book of Principle Geography to be learned for the academic year (2014/2015). In the light of the general objectives of the book, the researcher formulated 226 behavioral objectives to measure the four first levels of Bloom’s Classification (knowledge, understanding, application and analysis). The researcher prepared teaching units as 12 teaching units. The two tools of the study include achievement test which is comprised of (65) items including 60 objective items distributed equally among (multiple choice, true and false, complete the phrases) as (20) items for each type, and 95) essay items to measure the four first levels of Bloom’s Classification. The apparent validity (the apparent and the content), the discriminatory power, and the difficulty coefficient were ascertained, either by Alpha Cronbach which attained (%83) which is a good coefficient. The second tool is the systematic thinking test which was prepared by the researcher and displayed to the judges and experts and acquired (%80) after amendment that includes (94) items. The apparent validity, the discriminatory power, and the difficulty coefficient were ascertained. Its constancy was derived by Cronbach’sAlpha equation which attained (0.86) which is a good. The researcher taught the two groups himself. The application of the experiment lasted for one academic year 2014/2015. At the end of the experiment a test of the achievement posttest was applied on Wednesday 8/4/2015 and then applied the posttest of through Wednesday 15/4/2015 on the two groups.By the use of the t - test for the two independent samples, the researcher resulted in the following : - There is statistics difference at the level of 0.05 in the achievement of the experimental and control groups in geography for the experimental group students who were taught according to epistemological sample according to the systems course. - There is statistics difference at the level of 0.05 in the systematic thinking test between the experimental and control groups in geography for the experimental group students who were taught according to epistemological sample according to the systems course. In the light of the results, the researcher comes up to the following findings : 1 - Teaching according to the systems course helps to organize the students’ thinking and thinking their roles scientifically through linking their thoughts and employing them in mental schemata.2 - Teaching according to the systems course helps to training and tame the student’s mind on the two processes of construction and analysis which are basic processes in the systematic thinking.The researcher recommends the following : 1 - The necessity of training teachers of the principals of the General Geography on the modern teaching strategies and models based on the systems course. 2 - Encouraging teachers to care for the teaching of thinking in general, and systematic thinking in particular as a mental activity that helps to move for learning to application. In completion to the research the researcher suggested to make a number of studies like : 1 - Making a similar study to know the effect of the epistemological model on the systems course in other variables (tendency towards geography, tendency, retention and cognitive motivation). 2 - Making a study to know the compare the epistemological model on the systems course with other teaching models to know its superiority in teaching geographi.

The researcher chose Qsidia Directorate of Education Muqdadiyah and junior Cordovan for Boys for the application of the experiment where, and consisted of a sample search of (60) students within the experimental group (30) students and the control group (30) students, and reward a researcher at the variables (test prior knowledge, chronological age, intelligence, collection geographical material for the previous year, the academic achievement of, tribal geographical skills test). The researcher selected sample is deliberate composed of 110 students by 55 students for each of the experimental group and the control group. The researcher equated between the two groups in the number of variables are - chronological age and choice of intelligence and academic achievement for parents and the rate of the previous year.And then researcher tries to adjust the number of extraneous variables that may affect the dependent variable. The search tool included dimensional collected test to measure the effectiveness of the proposed program - oriented systems, according to the material assets of Education, prepared by the researcher and consists of 50 paragraphs divided into two questions. The first question consists of 40 paragraphs of the multi - type test and the second question consists of 10 paragraphs of type of short article , researcher has been used second test to two independent samples and Kia - square coefficient of discrimination and coefficient of difficulty as a statistical means for data analysis and the results showed that the material assets of Education at the College of Basic Education of the effectiveness and the presence of significant difference statistically between the experimental group and the control group in the level of study achievement for the material of assets of education for the benefit of the experimental group and in light of the results reached by the current study, the researcher concluded the following;1 - The program of material of assets of education contributed to in this study to raise the level of student achievement. 2 - The results the current research have been identical to the modern studies and literature, which emphasizes the importance of educational programs and extension of the educational process.3 - The proposed teaching program is according to the teaching - oriented systems helped individuals of search sample to acquire teaching skills and the development of attitudes towards the teaching profession The researcher came out a set of recommendations are as follows; 1 - Emphasize the importance of modern strategies in the curriculum so as to raise the level of performance of students in the faculty of Basic Education in the educational process. 2 - Generalization education program after pleading proposed as a method in the teaching of material of assets of education in colleges of Basic Education.3 - Increase the assessed hours of study for the material of assets of education being one of the subjects that contribute to the construction of the per formative aspect of the teaching profession.1 - The researcher came out a set of proposals including Conduct a similar study dealing with the effectiveness of the proposed program in accordance with oriented systems the in the collection of material of assets of colleges of Basic Education in Iraqi universities.2 - The impact of the diversity of use for methods and various modern teaching methods in student achievement and increase their motive to learn material of assets of Education.3 - The impact of the teaching program according to the oriented systems to enable the students of the Faculty of Basic Education to acquire teaching skills by employing modern teaching strategies.

Abstract: يرمي هذا البحث تعرف مستوى مقروئية كتب القراءة العربية للصفوف الثلاثة العليا من المرحلة الابتدائية في العراق، وتعرف ترتيب الموضوعات القرائية على وفق درجة مقروئيتها في كتب القراءة، وتعرف درجة المقروئية على وفق متغير الجنس.ولاجل الوصول الى هذه المرامي | The researchers and educators indicated that there is a weakness in reading in the primary stage so they gave stature to study it in this research which aims at the read ability of Arabic reading textbooks of the high three classes of the Primary stage in Iraq, determining the effect of pupils gender on the degree of readability and to achieve these aims the researcher has chosen randomly (27) different topics to pick from the textbooks of Arabic for the high three classes of the primary stage.Nine reading topics from each textbook is the sample of the research.These topics are taken from the beginning, middle and the end of the textbooks. For the sake of measuring the readability of the reading topics. The researcher has prepared (27)test of a (cloze) type, she did that by deleting the word of fifth arrangement from each topic of the research sample topics. The average of the topic length is fifty word and the number of the deleting words from each topic is ten words.After achieving the validity and reliability they have been applied to a random sample that consist of (650) male and female (348) male and (302) female who are distributed on six directorate in Baghdad governorate. Two schools for boys, two schools for girls and one school (mixed for girls and boys) from each of the six directorates.After analyzing the results of the (cloze) test by using the statistical means. It is found that : 1 - The degree of the readability of Arabic reading of the fourth primary class is (2.80),for the fifth class is (4.25) and for the sixth class is (5.03)2 - The majority of the pupils performance in the (cloze) test falls in the bad level and about 1/4 in the teaching level and a small ratio is in the readability level.3 - The reading topics in the textbooks of Arabic reading for the high three classes of the primary stage are not graded according to the degree of their readability.4 - There is a difference of statistical significance among the degree of the readability reading topics according to the difference in the pupils gender and for the sake of girls.From previous results , it is concluded that the reading topics in the textbooks of the Arabic reading for high three classes of the primary stage in Iraq are not suitable for pupils levels. The researcher has explained this result by many reasons, some of them are related to the pupils and others the reading topics themselves.In the light of the research results, the researcher has recommended many recommendations for example to limit the degree of readability of the school textbooks in general and especially the reading textbooks before generalizing them to pupils by using one of the methods of measurement of readability such as (cloze) test. The researcher has suggested to make further studies as a complement of this research in this vital field which still needs more studies and investigations.
