Abstract: حاولت الباحثة في البحث الحالي تحديد مشكلة بحثنا من خلال مؤشرات عدة منها : فهم وادراكه المنظور المعرفي العربي العام وابرز تحدياته ثم فهم وادراكه واقع المعرفة في مجتمعنا لكوننا جزءا من المحيط العربي. فمن اهم التحديات التي تواجه نشر المعرفة في مجتمعاتنا ضعف | The problem of the study is specified according to many indications such as : understanding and realizing the general Arabic knowledge perspective and its challenges and then understanding and realizing the realistic state of Iraqi society as being part of Arabic neighborhood. However, the most important challenges that face knowledge diffusion in Iraqi society are : first, the inability to discover the new ways of their diffusion, reach the solutions that based on knowing the administrative and human devices and new tools for transforming them, realizing their capabilities and then make use of their services according to the needs of the researchers, teachers and students depending on their scientific specialization - learning ,educating, training, and diffuse the cognitive awareness.Obviously, the knowledge devices are still traditional and incapable to cope with the enormous progress and development of knowledge. Their weaknesses represented by the inefficiency of computers and internets webs, the weaknesses of the continuous learning programs and activities, the weak services at laboratories and their unsuitability to the supposed conditioning, bad libraries services and the rarity of the new sources and weak using of new informational technologies specifically at university of Baghdad. These knowledge sources cannot cope with the exceeding scientific and cognitive development in the world in spite of their great role at universities. Therefore, the researcher treated the study problem by evaluating the knowledge sources through the following question : (the extent of implementing the plans, programs, and activities that related to knowledge sources according to national strategy of education and higher education). The importance of the study is clarified in that nowadays, the knowledge is listed under comprehensive modern project that need to preparations and utilization. The mass plays an important role in this project since there is a need for transformation, comprehension, possessing and settling for this project. Additionally, the effective using of the knowledge on the different technical sources requires the creation of generation able to use them through physical foundations to the rules of knowledge and sciences. Accordingly, the importance of the study is a reflective to the importance of the University of Baghdad as the university plays an important role in learning process and an important source of knowledge with its libraries, laboratories, technological sources such as computers and internet units, and continuous learning, meanwhile there is hardly range of progress without those sources of knowledge. The study aims to : 1. Evaluate the implementation of the activities, plans and programs for knowledge sources (libraries, laboratories, techniques and continuous learning) ‎in light of the strategy from the teacher’s point of view.2. Evaluate the implementation of the activities, plans and programs for knowledge sources (libraries, laboratories, techniques and continuous learning) ‎in light of the strategy from the employees’ point of view.3. Find out the statistically significant differences of using the knowledge sources at University of Baghdad according to the following variables : 1) Sex : male and female.2) Specialization : scientific and humanistic.3) Scientific rank : assist instructor, instructor, assist professor and professor.4) Length of service duration.The study is limited to four colleges, two scientific and others humanistic at University of Baghdad for the (2013 - 2014) academic year. The sample (300) teachers and (41) employees at the university, is selected to evaluate the knowledge sources according to the national strategy of education and higher education for the duration (2012 - 2022).The theoretical back ground includes three sections. The first one handles the historical display of the knowledge, the philosophy of knowledge, theories of knowledge, and the characteristics, principles and types of knowledge. The second section handles the displaying of the knowledge sources (libraries, labs, techniques, continuous learning). The last section handles the concept of the strategy, and the national strategy of education and higher education.On the other hand the previous studies are represented by (4) Iraqi, (8) Arabic and (2) foreign studies.The descriptive approach is used to find out the aims of the study by constructing two knowledge sources questionnaires, one of (37) items submitted to teachers and others of (63) items submitted to the employees. Each classified into four areas, namely (libraries, laboratories, techniques and continuous learning). The results show that : 1. The activities, programs and plans of the strategy are implemented and the libraries area is the area that implemented more than others from the teachers’ point of view. 2. The activities, programs and plans of the strategy are implemented and all the areas (libraries, labs, techniques and continuous learning) are implemented from the employees’ point of view.Based on the results, recommendations and suggestions for further studies are put forward

Undoubtedly, this genre has its scenario in EFL classes. Poetry also is the genre that draws on creating a full range of archaisms, dialects, as well as originates vivid new metaphors along with modeling and ordering rhythms Teaching poetry should pay considerable attention to the poetic rich and multilayered language with the aim of conveying a message. In the EFL classes, teaching poetry strategies are essential to both teachers and students. For teachers, these strategies are used to maximize their awareness towards poetry. They try to inspire the students’ inner and outer world around them. For the students, these poetry strategies help them to get beyond preconceived notions about poetry. Thus, it is necessary for teachers to include these literary and poetry strategies in EFL teaching to enrich the students’ learning. Literature reading strategies are important components in EFL learning, and they can influence EFL University students' achievement. The present study, therefore, aims at finding out1. the effect of JOIN strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' achievement in poetry.2. the effect of SHOW strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' achievement in poetry.3. the effect of JOIN strategy on Iraqi EFL university students’ literature reading strategies4. the effect of SHOW strategy on Iraqi EFL university students' literature reading strategies To achieve the study aims, the following two null hypotheses have been formulated : 1. There are no statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy in the achievement posttest in poetry 2. There are no statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy in literature reading strategies. The study demands quasi experimental design which is non - randomized control group posttest design. Lesson plans on how to teach according to the two strategies JOIN and SHOW have been designed. A questionnaire on literature reading strategies and an achievement posttest are constructed to collect data. The questionnaire consists of 60 items while the test includes six questions : some are objective and others are subjective. The first question has 16 items and it is multiple - choice, the second question includes 10 True/False items while the third one has 10 matching items. As for the fourth, fifth, and sixth questions, they are (writing composition) production questions. Face and content validity have been ascertained.Reliability coefficients have also been ascertained using two methods : Alpha Cronbach and scorer/intrascorer method. The items have been analyzed statistically, and the difficulty level and the discriminating power for each item have been calculated. The posttest has been applied its results analyzed statistically using Analysis of Variance and Scheffe test for post comparisons. The study sample is 119 male and female students in the third stage/ English Language Dept. /College of Education for Human Sciences/ Ibn Rushd. The study demands two experimental groups and a control one. The three groups have been matched according to the following variables : gender, age (in months) , the students' scores in the pretest, the academic level of the mother, the academic level of the father, and pre - administration of literature reading strategies. The experiment lasted three months during which the researcher herself has taught the three groups poetry in the second semester of the academic year 2014 - 2015.After the statistical treatment of the data, the results show that : 1. There are statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy and their effect on the university students' achievement in poetry in favor of the SHOW strategy.2. There are statistically significant differences among the mean scores of the first experimental group which is taught by the JOIN strategy, the second experimental group which is taught by the SHOW strategy, and the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy and their effect on the university students' literature reading strategies in favor of the SHOW strategy. Abstract: The present study aims to construct a Teaching program proposed in the collection of material GIS and identifying its effectiveness on the 2nd year female students who are participating in the experiment al group at the Department of Geography, college of Education For Women, University of Baghdad. A Partial control experimental design which is a pre - post experimental - control design is adopted in the present study. Two groups are assigned randomly as an experimental group which is section A , and a control group which is section B from the Deportment of Geography at the college of Education for Women. The total number It amounted research sample (60) by a student (30) students in each division. The two groups are equalized in several Factors which are : IQ lest , Age in months , prior knowledge , And testing of the above information for geographic information systems (pre - test), and academic achievement for parents, as well as several intruding factors are also controlled during the experimental work. I studied the researcher herself students two sets of search after it identified topics article, and the researcher to build its teaching proposed using the program (ARC GIS V.9.3) for the collection of material geographic information systems, and prepared necessary to teach students two sets Find lesson plans, and the number of plans (44) Plan for each of the two groups, the rate of (22) plan for each group, and presented to a group of arbitrators and specialists, and in the light of the opinions held by the necessary adjustments. For the purpose of measuring achievement in the subject of GIS for students in the two sets of research topics studied by the researcher. The lest includes two questions : Q1 includes 35 items of the MCQ items, where as Q2 includes 15 items of a Short essay type. Validity , reliability, and item analyst including the item level of difficulty , item discrimination power , and the power of affective ness for the incorrect alternatives , The lest have been exposed an a group of Arbitrators , then applied in sample of both groups before starting the experimental work , and after eleven weeks which is the assigned period of work Experience. Data is analyzed by using two - independent samples T - test. Results revealed the following : The experimental group students were superior on the control group ones on a level of significance of 0.05 on the post lest. This means that students who have been taught by The proposed teaching program are better in their achievement than those who were taught Geographic information system without the suggested model. In light of the results of this study, it was found to a set of conclusions and recommendations, and proposals. Conclusions : 1. The use of the proposed teaching program led to the positive interaction of the students, and active participation for the duration of the experiment. 2. Use of the proposed teaching program has helped to raise the level of second grade students in the collection of material GIS. Recommendations : 1. attention to technology as an essential tool in the learning process - learning in all academic levels and on school and college level 2.alahtmam the use of modern educational technologies by about a year, and construction of the proposed teaching about special programs, consistent with the characteristics of the students, and the nature of the course material through reconsider its own geographic information material taught Bmdarcna our colleges and even kept pace with the age of technology and information systems curriculum. In order to achieve the research 's goal , the researcher has placed two Zero hypotheses : • There are not statistical differences between averages of three groups , the 1st group is the experimental one that studies the geography by the strategy of trainer and 2nd experimental group studies the same subject with mistakes - existing strategy and the control group studies the same subject with the traditional method in acquiring the geographic concepts.. • There are not statistical differences between averages of three groups , the 1st group is the experimental one that studies the geography by the strategy of trainer and 2nd experimental group studies the same subject with mistakes - existing strategy and the control group studies the same subject with the traditional method in acquiring geographic thinking. The researcher has followed an experimental method which is the design of the control group according to random specialization for individuals and pre - and post - tests.The researcher has randomly chosen education directorate of al - Rusafa /2 of among six directorates and by the same method. It has been chosen the Martyr Nadhim intermediate school where it has been randomly chosen three sections of students of among five sections which are ( B,C,D) and by the same method ; the section B represents 1st experimental group , section C represents 2nd experimental group and D represents the control group. The sample amounts 90 students , 30 students in the 1st experimental group who have studied with strategy of trainer , 30 students who have studied with strategy of existing - mistakes and 30 students in the control group who have studied with the traditional method. Equivalence has been carried out amongst the three groups in the variables ( test of intelligence , test of acquiring geographic concepts , former marks of geography subject, time multiplied with months and educations for the parents). It has been verified the internal and external safety for removing the effect of internal variables that could affect the followed - up variables. The educational substance in the geography subject has been specified , it has been analyzed the content of the subject as to specify the concepts the substance includes. It has been amounted 109 geographic concept. The researcher has randomly chosen 20 concepts for building a test of geographic concepts acquisition , taking into consideration the time and the stage for the students. The researcher has prepared the behavior goals that amounted 321 behavioral goal according to the three operations for acquiring the concept ( definition, distinction, application) , it has been prepared 87 studying plan , that every group has ( 29) plan ; besides, it has been prepared a test for acquiring the geographical concepts. The test includes 60 item of multi - test and its psychometric properties. The researcher has confirmed validity and consistence of the test. The researcher has prepared list of geographical thinking skills and then he has exposed them to the experts. Based on their recommendation, the researcher has built a test of geographical thinking acquisition that includes 32 items. The researcher has confirmed validity and consistence of the test and its psychometric aspects. The two tests have been applied after the end of experiment that continued for one studying year as of 11/10/2015 up to 15/3/2016.. After statistically processing by using unitary analysis , it has been indicated the following results : • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between three groups ' grades average in acquiring the geographic concepts and thinking.• There are not statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd experimental group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 1st experimental group. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 2nd experimental group. • There are not statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd experimental group grades averages in geographic thinking test. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 1st experimental group. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 2nd experimental group grades average and control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts thinking. Abstract: The current research aims to verify the impact of the Stepanz model to modify wrong understanding of the physical concepts when students fourth grade science and their social intelligence. The researcher formulated the two following zero hypotheses for purpose of verification of the aim of the research : 1 - There is a not statistically difference is significant at the level of significance (.0.5) between the average scores of the experimental group students who are studying using the Stepanz model and between the average scores of the control group students who are studying in the usual way in the diagnosis test of the wrong understanding of the physical concepts. 2 - There is a not statistically difference is significant at the level of significance (.0.5) between the average scores of the experimental group students who are studying using the Stepanz model and between the average scores of the control group students who are studying in the usual way in social intelligence scale. The researcher chose a sample for his consideration students of grade forth Scientific in junior high Alfaruq of The first breeding Karkh Directorate, has identified the pilot divisions and control group randomly by lot, as the number of students reached in divisions (55) student after excluding students Alraspat and by (22) student to experimental and (22) student of the officer, and for determining the content of scientific material has identified chapters VI, VII, VIII, IX and X of the fourth book of physics and scientific - grade second semester. equivalence were conducted for the following two variables (age students in months and the degree of the previous achievement in physics and the degree of the previous achievement in mathematics and the previous test information and test misconception and scale social) intelligence. The researcher used two tools to achieve the purposes of research and two (test misconception) and be one of the (51) paragraph in its final form and scale of social intelligence and be one of the (4.) as the final paragraph. Researcher following statistical methods were used to arrive at the results of his research (samples t - test for two independent samples is equal, and the coefficient of difficulty,and the coefficient of discrimination paragraphs and the equation of the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives to paragraphs test misconception, and Pearson correlation coefficient, and the equation Spearman - Brown, Alpha Cronbach the equation, and the equation of effect size). The search procedure has two phases : 1. The second phase of treatment : the applied research procedures on the two groups, the researcher has studied by Stepanz model the experimental group, while the control group studied the usual way. The researcher reached to the following results : 1. there is a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups for students in the fourth grade scientific diagnostic test for the wrong understanding of the concepts physical and in favor of the experimental group. 2. there is a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups for students in the fourth grade scientific measure of social intelligence and in favor of the experimental group. Accordingly the researcher reached to following conclusions according to the results of research : 1. The use and application of a Stepanz model in teaching physics fourth grade science have an impact in the amendment misconception which is owned by students in physics. 2. The use and application of the Stepanz model in physics teaching fourth grade science have an impact in raising and improving the degree of social intelligence of students. Accordingly, the researcher has developed a number of recommendations and suggestions for the use of Stepanz model in other studies in other stages and in other scientific materials and a sample of other research.

Abstract: هدف البحث الحالي الى تعرف اثر برنامج تدريبي في تنمية التفاعل التبادلي لدى اطفال الرياض، ويتحقق ذلك عبر اختبار الفرضيات الاتية : 1 - لا توجد فروق دالة احصائيا بين رتب درجات افراد المجموعتين التجريبية، والضابطة على مقياس التفاعل التبادلي في الاختبار القبلي. | The goal of the research is to identify the effect of the training program in the development of the reciprocal interactions between the children of kindergarten, and it can be achieved through the following hypothesis : 1 - There are no statistically significant differences between ranks of members of the experimental and controlled groups on the Interaction Reciprocal level of the pre - test.2 - There are no statistically significant differences between ranks of members of the experimental and controlled groups after applying the program during the post test.3 - There are no statistically significant differences between ranks of the members of the experimental group on the level of the Interaction Reciprocal between the pre and post tests.4 - There are no statistically significant differences between ranks of the members of the controlled group on the level of the Interaction Reciprocal between the two pre and post - tests.The researcher has adopted Bandura’s theory as a theoretical base of the reciprocal interaction, and with light of the definition of the Interaction Reciprocal the researcher has gone through a collection of literatures of Interaction Reciprocal and early childhood, a criterion was constructed by the researcher after following a scientific steps the construction and after verifying its truth ( through logical truth and the test of the experts and arbitrators of the theoretical definition and the logical examination of its articles, also the truth of construction through the extraction of its indications which resembles its distinctive force and the factor of the correlation of the article degree with the total degree of the criterion especially after applying the criterion on a sample of (400) children (boys and girls) , and the stability of the criterion was estimated using two methods ( cronbach's alpha factor and the factor of split - half method of the criterion).The researcher used the approach of the experimental researching in order to test the hypothesis of her research and a sample has been chosen according to Stratified Random method from Baghdad education/Al - Karkh2 (Al - Aqmar kindergarten), the sample consisted of (21) children from both genders that have been distributed on two groups ( experimental which consist of eleven boys and girls and a controlled group of ten boys and girls), variables equivalence was made between the two group regarding (reciprocal interaction - gender - children arrangement according to their birthday date - academic attainment for the mother and the father of the children ).The constructed training program of the researcher included (17) activities, and after it was verified by the group of arbitrators and making sure that the program would serve its purpose the researcher has applied the program to develop the Interaction Reciprocal on the experimental group while the controlled group didn’t experience the program in any sort of way, the duration of the program was around six weeks and the degrees of the experimental and the controlled groups were calculated of the pre - test and post - test, data was processed using (Mann - Whitney and Wilcoxon tests) and the result gave us the following conclusions : - 1 - Acceptance of the Null Hypothesis (There are no statistically significant differences between the experimental and controlled groups during the pre - test.2 - Rejection of the Null Hypothesis (There are statistically significant differences between the experimental and controlled groups during the post - test).3 - Rejection of the Null Hypothesis (There are statistically significant in the experimental group before and after applying the program during the pre - test).4 - Acceptance of the Null Hypothesis (There are no statistically significant differences in the controlled group and between the pre - test and post - tests.The researcher recommends the activation of the training program in kindergartens due to its deep impact to the enhancement of the children expectations and the development of their ability to conduct a healthy communication with others, adding to that the reinforcement of their self - confidence and the trusting of others, the researchers also recommends making further studies and researches as a complementary for the current research

There is no difference statistically significant at a level (0.05) between the average degree of the control group students who are studying Arabic grammar rule using the traditional method (inductive) in the selection of tribal and post in the development of skills of science. 3. There is no difference statistically significant at a level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who are studying Arabic grammar rule using self - questioning strategy and the average degree of the control group students who are studying the same course in the traditional manner (inductive). The selected researcher Qsidia (secondary - eyed girls), which includes three divisions of the row first and randomly selected Division (a) represents the experimental group while representing the Division (c) the control group, and reached the research sample (60) student, by (30) student in each division.Rewarded the students of the two experimental and control group statistically using the second test in the variables of the following (chronological age, and degrees of Arabic language in the examination of a half years, and the test scores of tribal processes of science in the subject of Arabic grammar, using Chi - square in the educational attainment of fathers and mothers).After that the researcher identified the themes of scientific material to be examined in six subjects during the experiment, prepared plans, teaching them, and presented to a group of experts, in the light of the views held the necessary adjustments, and plans have become ready for application. For the purpose of measuring the skills of science to the two sets of research in the subjects studied by the researcher herself, prepared a test of science processes consisted of (30), paragraph a test of the type of multiple - choice (Multiple choice), presented to the group of experts and specialists to prove the veracity of the test, and analysis of the paragraphs of the test and calculate variability, applied to the sample amounted to (150) female students from first grade average in high school the future of the girls, and after analyzing the results of answers students sample and statistically treated using the commandments statistical occasion, found that the paragraphs of the test are all valid, and to calculate a fixed test used (KR - 20) as total reliability coefficient (0.78), a reliability coefficient is good.And after the end of the experiment, which lasted (eight) weeks, applied test of science to students of the two groups of experimental and control, and after analyzing the results of answers the students and treated statistically using the test Alta?a, it became clear there is a difference statistically significant between the average scores of the experimental group in the two test tribal and dimensional processes of science and for dimensional , and the results showed that there is no statistically significant difference of the average scores in the control group and two test tribal dimensional processes of science, while the experimental group outperformed the control in the post - test for the operations of science.In light of the search resultsthe researcher concluded.The researcher recommended the need to Has proposed a researcher of a study.

For this leader to perform his duty perfectly, he should be supplied with all different teaching components and means. The teacher was described as the cornerstone for the teaching and educational process and with him that educational process gets straight and reaches its goals. Hence, the teacher should be prepared and trained during his service for its great role in nourishing the educational process. The current thesis aimed at : 1 - Preparing a training program to acquire mathematics teaching skills to the fifth class primary school teachers whom service period is no less than three years. 2 - Identifying the effect of the training program on mathematics teachers' performance through the investigation of the following two hypotheses : a - There is no statistical significant difference between the mean scores of teachers on whom the training program was applied (the experimental group) and the mean scores of teachers on whom the training program was not applied (the control group) when the (post) performance form was applied at (0.05) level. b - There is no statistical significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group who were submitted to the (post) training program and their mean scores before the application of the (pre) program on them at (0.05) level. The study population was comprised of four sectors including (151) male and female teachers within the Directorate of Missan Education. The study sample was confined on fifth class primary mathematics teachers for the study year 2007 - 2008. The basic sample mounted (50) male and female teachers within the Directorate of Missan Education. The research tool was applied on them which was a mere performance form prepared by the research through his overlooking some previous studies and conducting an open questionnaire to a group of professors specialized in mathematics and psychology teaching methods. Through their opinions, he prepared a list of skills comprised of (42) skills distributed on three fields (planning, execution and assessment). After being sure of their validity by exposing them on a group of experts, more than 80% of what was agreed on was accepted and the skills which did not achieve that were refused. In addition, the experts added a number of skills which made their final number (44) skills distributed on three fields (planning, execution and assessment). Their reliability was assured of by using Pearson correlation coefficient where the general mean of reliability coefficient was (70%), so the tool was ready for application. To identify the number of skills where teachers' performance was (weak, strong), the researcher used the statistical means to extract the preference medium and percentage weight; therefore, he obtained (23) skills valued positively representing (strength aspects) and (21) skills valued negatively representing (weakness aspects) in teachers' performance. These skills represented the actual training requirements of mathematics teachers. To apply the program, he divided the basic research sample (50) male and female teachers into two groups randomly; an experimental group including (25) male and female teachers and a control group with the same number. To achieve the equivalence between both groups according to (service, certificate and performance) variables, the researcher used Chi - square to identify the difference significance between the two groups regarding (service and certificate) variables and used the (t - test) for two independent samples regarding the scores of (performance form) variable. He prepared a training program to acquire the teaching skills to mathematics teachers and to identify the effect of the training program of acquiring teaching skills on teachers' performance through the investigating the validity of the two following hypotheses : There was no statistical significant difference between the mean scores of the two groups (the experimental and control groups) in performance. The researcher used the (t - test) for two independent samples as a post application where the results showed there was a statistical significant difference at (0.05) significance level for the interest of the experimental group. To examine the hypothesis saying there was no statistical significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group (pre) and the mean scores of the experimental group (post) in teaching skills according to the performance form. The researcher used the (t - test) for two correlated samples where the results showed there was a statistical significant difference at (0.05) significance level for the interest of the experimental group after the application of the training program. Hence, the researcherrecommended the necessity to depend on the training program in the courses done by the Directorate of Education for mathematics teachers during service and the supervisors' utilization of the program and performance form in evaluating the teachers' work.

In addion, we tested the reliability,sustainability, simplify and difficulty factor of Criteria and the alternatives activity.The study were analyzed by using statistical bag of social sciences, spss - 19 program, Microsoft Excel 2013, T - test for one sample and independent samples and correlation Coefficient person.The study showed the following outcomes : - 1 - Communication skills of chemical teacher's in intermediate school were weak.2 - There were no significant differences in Communication skills regarding to gender aspect.3 - Direct correlation medium between chemical teacher's communication and their student outcomes.From the above study, it is recommended that communication skills aspect should be taught and should be included in collage of education establishing. Abstract: Critical thinking is an important everyday activity. Every time we have to make a decision, the process we go through involves critical thinking. Nowadays, critical thinking is one of the major concepts under consideration in education.Reading has also been considered one of the most important skills in EFL/ESL context. Hence, the integration of critical thinking and reading could be most effective to learners. To develop students' critical reading ability is a major goal in reading instruction.Considering the substantial roles of EFL/ESL reading comprehension and critical thinking skills, it can be noted that these two variables are required for students to succeed in academic English settings.In line with the studies confirming the positive relationship between critical thinking ability and language proficiency, this study intendes to investigate the relationship between the EFL college students' critical thinking and their performance in reading comprehension. Hence, the present study aims at : 1 - measuring EFL college students' critical thinking skills;2 - measuring EFL college students' reading comprehension performance;3 - finding out the relationship between students' critical thinking skills on one hand and their performance in reading comprehension on the other; and4 - investigating whether gender makes difference in the relationship between critical thinking and reading comprehension.To achieve the aims of the study, four null hypotheses have been stated as follows : 1 - Third - year EFL college students' level on the critical thinking test is average.2 - Third - year EFL college students' performance on the reading comprehension test is average.3 - There is no statistically significant relationship between Iraqi EFL students' critical thinking and reading comprehension performance.4 - There is no statistically significant difference in the relationship between Iraqi EFL students' critical thinking and reading comprehension performance according to the gender variable. A random sample of third - year college students enrolled for the academic year (2013 - 2014) has been selected. The number of participants is 62 representing 30 % of the total population.In order to fulfil the aims of the study and to test its hypotheses, two instruments have been adopted for data gathering; Watson - Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal (WGCTA) Test and astandardized Reading Comprehension Test. The instruments are exposed to a jury of experts for the purpose of ascertaining their face and content validity. They have validated the items and suggested some modifications. After a pilot administration of the instruments, their reliability is calculated by the split - half method for the (WGCTA) Test, and the mark - remark method for the reading comprehension test, yielding reliability coefficients of 0.72 and 0.81 respectively. The discriminatory powers and difficulty level of the instruments' items are also computed.After the final administration of the study instruments, the major findings are : 1 - Third year EFL college students' performance on the critical thinking test is average.2 - The students have average level in some CT subskills; Interpretation and Evaluation of Arguments, but they are weak on others; Inference, Recognition of Assumptions and Deduction. 3 - Third year EFL college students' performance on the reading comprehension test is average. 4 - The students' performance on the lower order thinking level is average, whereas their performance on the higher order thinking level is below average.5 - There is a positive significant relationship between Iraqi EFL students' critical thinking skills and reading comprehension performance.6 - There are no statistically significant differences between critical thinking and reading comprehension due to the gender variable.In the light of the results obtained, a number of pedagogicalimplications and recommendations concerned with textbooks designers, teachers, and learners are put forward. Also, several suggestions for further studies are proposed to enrich this area of investigation.

Two null hypotheses have been posed : 1) No statistically significant differences on a level of 0.05 of significance between the mean scores of the experimental group acquisition which is taught by the SWOM strategy, and that of the control group which is taught by the conventional strategy. 2) No statistically significant differences on a level of 0.05 of significance between the mean scores of the experimental group which is taught by the SWOM strategy, and that of the control group which is taught by the traditional strategy in divergent thinking. The present study is limited to 2nd year college students, Department of Educational Psychological Sciences at the University of Wasit, morning studies during the academic year 2013 - 2014. the prescribed textbook is Developmental Psychology for the academic year 2013 - 2014. The sample of the present study consists of 70 males and females distributed on two sections, one is set as an experimental group including 35 students, and the second is a control group including 35 students as well. The experimental group is taught by the SWOM strategy, while the control group is taught by the conventional strategy. Internal and external validity of the experimental design has been proved by identifying the variables affecting the two dependent variables. Behavioral objectives have been formulated totalling as 107 and 26 psychological concepts. Lessons plans have been prepared including 62 for the two groups based on two parts with 14 chapters from their prescribed textbook entitles Developmental Psychology for 2nd year. A pre - post test for divergent thinking has been constructed, as well as psychological concept test of 78 items measuring six levels of Bloom's taxonomy of the cognitive domain has been designed. The test includes MCQ items measuring the following processes of psychological concepts' acquisition : identifying the concepts, recognizing the concept, applying the concept. Validity, item difficulty, item discrimination power, and reliability have all been achieved. The divergent thinking test includes 28 subjective items distributed on 7 domains which are : verbal, expressive, correlational, and thinking fluency; spontaneous flexibility, adaptation, and originality. Validity, item difficulty level, item discrimination power, and reliability have all been proved. Suitable statistical methods have been employed such as two - independent samples, t - test used to equalize the two groups and finding out the statistical differences between the two groups. Results show the superiority of the experimental group which is taught by the SWOM strategy in the acquisition of psychological concepts and the divergent thinking tests in Developmental Psychology. In the light of the above results, the researcher arrived at suitable conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions of further studies.

The study found the following results : Higher than the second experimental group students studied follows the strategy of using the second style guide expectations on students follows the first group studied using a strategy guide expectations the first pattern and the female control group studied it follows the usual way in Reading Comprehension. Superiority students follows the experimental group first studied using the first style guide expectations strategy the students studied follows the control group using the usual method in Reading Comprehension. The effect of using dramatization as a teaching technique on the achievement of EFL college students in Situational Dialogues (SDs).2. Whether using dramatization in teaching English conversation has an equal or different effect on students' written and oral achievement in Situational Dialogues (SDs).To achieve these aims, three hypotheses have been formulated as follows : 1. There is no significant deference in the mean scores of the written achievement test between the experimental group which is exposed to dramatization, and that of the control group which is not exposed to dramatization. 2. There is no significant difference in the mean scores of the oral achievement test between the experimental group which is exposed to dramatization, and that of the control group which is not exposed to dramatization.3. There is no significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group's written achievement and that of their oral achievement in Situational Dialogues (SDs).The present study is limited to the first year EFL college students in the College of Education / Ibn - Rushd at Baghdad University in the academic year 2004 - 2005 and to the textbook of conversation taught at the first stage entitled : "Situational Dialogues" written by Micheal Okenden (1972). The experimental design decided is the type of "the post - test only control group design". The sample of the study consists of sixty students selected randomly out of 160 students which represent 37.5 percent of its original population. The chosen sample is divided into two equal groups, the experimental and control which have been equalized in the variables of : age, average of achievement in the General Baccalaureate Examination of the previous year, the parents' level of education, and students' scores in English of the previous year. The experimental group has been taught according to dramatization technique while the control group has been taught according to the traditional technique, i.e. without dramatization.At the end of the experiment, the two groups are subjected to oral and written achievement tests. After the administration of the two tests to the selected sample, testees' responses have been processed statistically using the appropriate statistical means.The obtained results reveal that : 1 - The mean scores of the experimental group's written achievement is 77.40, whereas that of the control group is 70. 2 - There is significant difference between the two groups in written achievement test, in favour of the experimental group at 0.05 level of significance and with 58 degree of freedom.3 - The mean scores of the experimental group's oral achievement is 78.67, whereas that of the control group is 65.37.4 - There is significant difference between the two groups in oral achievement test, in favour of the experimental group at 0.05 level of significance and with 58 degree of freedom.5 - The mean scores of the experimental group's oral achievement is 72.52, whereas that of the written achievement is 73.72.6 - There is no significant difference at 0.05 level of significance and with 118 degree of freedom between the oral achievement, on one hand and the written achievement , on the other hand of the experimental group. Later on, a number of recommendations and suggestions are stated; the following are some of them : Recommendations : 1. It is necessary to use dramatization as a teaching technique in teaching Situational Dialogues for EFL first year college students.2. The necessity of putting students in actions and active situations, and motivate them to dramatize and act out roles during teaching EFL subjects and especially Situational Dialogues. 3. A pamphlet which includes a full explanation for each situation by using dramatization technique and how to employ it inside the classroom could be supplied to teachers of Situational Dialogues.4. Constructing TV programme that depends on utilizing dramatization technique in teaching English dialogues for primary, secondary and intermediate stages.Suggestions : 1. Experimenting the effectiveness of using dramatization in teaching other English subjects like (grammar, composition, poetry, novel, drama, etc).2. Conducting similar studies for teaching English by using dramatization at other academic stages especially at the primary & secondary stages.3. Making a comparative study between the efficiency of dramatization and other new teaching techniques in developing students' achievement at the various levels of study such as : primary, secondary, etc.

Included community study the original Arabic language teachers and Madrsadtha in middle school to the Kurdistan region of Iraq for the academic year (2013 - 2014) as numbered (1787), a teacher and a school, divided into directorates of the Kurdistan region were divided by (672) as a teacher and a school in the Directorate of Education in Arbil, and the number of teachers (297) as a teacher and the number of teachers (375) schools, and (604) as a teacher and a school for the Directorate of Sulaymaniyah by 264 teachers and 340 schools and 426 teachers and a school for the Directorate of Education in Dohuk and by (190) teachers and (236) School and a last resort (85 ) as a teacher and a school for the Directorate of Education Ckramaan and by (32) teachers and (53) School, the study sample was included by (16.79) from the research community and by 115 teachers and 185 schools were divided according to grade levels and by (100) Instructor and a school for each grade level as the number of teachers for grades seven (40) teachers and (60) School and (30) teacher (70), eighth - grade teacher and (45) teachers and (55) School for the ninth grade, and thus the total sample size (300 ) and a school teacher. The researcher built a scale for the purpose of evaluating the textbook included six areas : (Goals of the book, the content of the book, the setting and authoring, language, format, Calendar) as the researcher has formulated a number of questions to cover all of these areas, taking into account the clarity and precision. The study came up with a number of findings, including : 1. The Arabic language books for the stage in the middle of the Kurdistan region of Iraq Ataatcef quality desired. 2. There is significant interest in the language of the author of books for the Arabic language stems from the authors' belief in the language of the Quran, a Hafiz her secret eloquent as well as her artistic output. 3. twice the capacity of teaching Arabic language books for the stage in the middle of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, the drafting of behavioral objectives because the teacher is not interested in the formulation of the overall objectives. 4. The Arabic language in the Kurdistan region of Iraq is of secondary materials, has not received the attention like other materials. The study came out a number of recommendations, including : 5. A good book to adopt standards prepared by the researcher as a basis to evaluate the Arabic language books in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. 6. the need for a committee of authors all the terms of reference when authoring the textbook. 7. The need to formulate new goals commensurate with modern trends and keep pace with the evolution into account derived from the correct sources. 8. The need to introduce Arabic language teachers and Madrsadtha in the Kurdistan region of Iraq courses teaching methods and modern methods.

It is an interesting media in teaching speaking. It is hybrid between a research paper and an oral presentation. It is visual medium that is used to communicate a key idea related to research. It presents an idea in verbal and graphic ways and a dynamic way to share information in a social context with conference delegates.It combines text, graphs, tables, photos, charts, titles, and brief textual summaries of research information to present work in a way that is visually interesting, accessible, and clarity of content. It allows displaying work to a large group and to talk to and receive feedback from in interest audiences.The study aims at finding out the effect of poster presentation on Iraqi EFL University students' oral performance. It is hypothesized that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group which is taught according to poster presentation technique and that of the control group which is taught according to the currently used technique in their oral performance.The procedures undertaken in the present study include choosing a pre - post control group design; selecting a representative sample which has been divided into two groups experimental and control; constructing an oral post test, and securing its validity, reliability and practicality; applying the classroom students - made poster presentation technique on the experimental group, while the control group has been taught conversation by the currently used technique; administering the post test to both groups at the end of the experimental work; collecting , computing and analyzing data by using suitable statistical tools; and The sample of the present study consists of 101 students from the Department of English Language at the College of Education/ Wasit University during the academic year 2014 - 2015. The sample has been distributed into an experimental group of 48 students and a control group of 53 students. Both groups have been equalized in some variables, namely age, gender, parents’ level of education, and the pre test.A post test has been designed and exposed to a jury of experts for the purpose of ascertaining its face validity, while reliability has been ensured by using Person Correlation Formula. Data has been analyzed by using the two independent samples t - test. Results show that there are statistically significant differences between the two groups in their mean score in favor of the experimental group which has been taught by poster presentation. The students of the experimental group are better than those of the control one in their oral performance. This indicates that teaching conversation by using the poster presentation technique is more effective than teaching by the currently used technique method. Based on the present study results, suitable conclusions, recommendations, and several suggestions for further research have been put forward.

The importance of motivation in pupil learning stands out through excitability their teaching behavior ( Samurai 0.2007 : 1 ). The great importance of academic achievement is reflected in their recent and future time.It is important for the society future, too. Achieving any aim needs effort and activity by the individual and follow - up that activity so hard to reach the final aim which has to be the main motive of their performances and activities. The student couldn't achieve his aim unless has a power prompt him for that. This power that urges him is the driving force for the completion of the academic (Al - Mutarna, 2013 : BT ).In the light of these facts the current research objectives formulated as follow Recognize : - 1. The domestic dialogue among pupils of sixth grade primary.2. self - transcendence of pupils of sixth grade primary.3. The motivation for academic achievement of pupils of sixth grade primary.4. The relationship between the domestic dialogue and self - transcendence of pupils of sixth grade primary.5. The relationship between the domestic dialogue and the motivation for the academic achievement of pupils of sixth grade primary.6. The relationship of self - transcendence and the motivation of Academic achievement o of pupils of sixth grade primary.7. Fid the differences in domestic dialogue according to the gender( males, females) and congenital arrangement.8. Find the differences in self - transcendence according to gender ( males, females) and congenital arrangement.9. Find the differences in academic achievement motivation according to gender( males, females) and congenital arrangement.10. How much the contribution of domestic dialogue and self - transcendence in the academic achievement motivation among pupils of sixth grade primary.Achieveing the above objectives need to build two measurements. The first for self - transcendence and the second for the domestic dialogue. For the measurement of academic achievement motivation the researcher adopted on ( Abdul Khaleq and Nial, 1992 ) scale. Applied three criteria on a sample of ( 500 ) pupils in sixth grade were chosen by a random way from the research community , After collecting data processed using appropriate statistical methods including Altai test of one sample and contrast bilateral and correlation coefficient analysis, The search found the following results : - The pupils enjoy a high level of domestic dialogue and self - transcendence and academic achievement motivation. - There is a positive correlation between the domestic dialogue and self - transcendence, and between the domestic dialogue and academic achievement motivation, and between self - transcendence and academic achievement motivation among pupils of sixth grade primary. - There is no difference between males and females in the family dialogue, self - transcendence and academic achievement motivation. - There is no difference in congenital arrangement in both the family dialogue , self - transcendence and academic achievement motivation. - Contribution of domestic dialogue and self - transcendence in the academic achievement motivation among pupils of sixth grade primary. These results were interpreted according to the adopted theory for each scale of standards research. A long the lines of these findings the researcher made a number of recommendations and proposals.

Use researcher square (Kay) For the virtual honesty paragraphs, and Scott equation for reliability coefficient, and the percentage, arithmetic means for calculating duplicates.research results : - Showed this research in the results of the analysis that there is a (1570) idea in the book of social workers spread over eight goals differently, with the second goal got the (490) again, and by (21 and 31%), the highest percentage, while the sixth goal got the (240) again, by (28 and 15%), and got the fifth goal at (197) again, and by (54 and 12%), and the fourth goal got the (163) again, and by (38 and 10%), and got the first goal at (137) again, and by (72 and 8 %), and seventh goal has got to (118) again, and by (51, 7%), and the eighth goal has got (95) again, and by (05, 6%), while the third goal was obtained (40) again, and by (54 and 2% ), and the ideas contained in the book and they reflect the goals of the curriculum was (1480) idea and percentage (26 and 94%), while the ideas contained in the book, but not in line with the objectives of the article, it was (90) idea, and percentage (73, 5%).The researcher recommended a number of recommendations in the light of the findings of the research, namely : 1. Benefit from the goals that have been built in the current research, educational units, they are placed in the book for future editions, service for the student, teacher and reseacher.2. Develop achieved the goals that carries the vertebrae isachieved through a simple content of the book.3. Work on the revision of the content of the book in achieving the goals which have earned the low rates, and did not carry any unrealized paragraph.4. There are goals not find her name and was named variety, it is important to take care of and developed, and put it under the slogan, appear in the goals, so that the teacher of their achievement.5. In order to be integrated educational goals should be added other goals with the objectives referred to in the content.6. Involvement of specialists in social studies teaching methods the process of writing the general educational goals.7. Emphasis on targets that appeared a few percent by the authors.8.
