Abstract: يهدف البحث الحالي الى تعرف ( اثر انموذج كارول في تحصيل طالبات الصف الثاني المتوسط في مادة الجغرافية) , ولتحقيق هدف البحث فقد وضعت الباحثة الفرضية الصفرية الاتية : لايوجد هناك فرق ذو دلالة احصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0,05) بين متوسط درجات طالبات مجموعتي البحث | The present study aims at finding out the effect of the Carol’s pattern on the second intermediate class pupils' achievement in geography. For verifying this aim the following null hypotheses has set : There are no statistically significant differences between the mean of the scores of experimental group who is taught by using the Carol’s pattern and the mean of the scores of control group who is taught by using traditional method in their achievement in geography.The partial experimental design of two groups, experimental and control, with pre - post tests is used. The sample is represented in (74) female pupils. The sample is divided into two groups (38) experimental group and (36) control one. The sample is selected from first intermediate class pupils ( Am Salama Secondary School for girls) \ Baghdad\ Al - karkh - 1, for academic year 2015 - 2016.The researcher has equalized the two groups in several variables : the previous achievement tests, intelligence, age in months, the scores of geography test of first course. She has also selected the third and fourth chapters and section two from the geography of Arab homeland textbook (2016) as a material to be taught. The researcher has put (155) instructional according to the Bloom Taxonomy, the first three levels (knowledge, understanding and applying). The study tool is an achievement test of 40 multiple choices items. The test is constructed by the researcher and ensured its validity and reliability. The two independent samples t - test is used to find out the results which show that there are statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the two groups in favor of experimental group. Depending on the idea as a unit for analysis and the safety of analysis has been confirmed and proved via two methods : Analysis confirmation between the researcher and other researchers, proving the analysis of the researcher with her self.4. Preparing test for measuring the fourth stage students ' acquisition , it consists of 50 items of the nature of science and 30 items for the basic processes of science. It has been confirmed its reliability and firmness.The society of the research is of two sides , the society of books and the society of the students ; the society of books represent conclusively with the Book of Geography along with its techniques for the fourth - stage students ( Literary Branch), after the researcher has excluded ( introduction,, index , Chapter's finished questions). While the society of the students include all fourth - stage students ( literary branch) in the governmental schools in Baghdad ( Al - Karkh / Al - Rusafa) , their number amounted ( 32642) after the researcher has excluded a random sample with ratio ( 5%) , their number is ( 379) students on whom test of the nature of the science and its basic operation will be applied. the test has been applied in the second half of the academic year ,starting on 12/4/2016 up to 27/4/2016. For analyzing the data and results , the researcher has relied on the statistic means which are ( repetitions, percentage , T - Test , T - test for the two independent samples. The results appeared as follows : 1. The book of " Geography" for the fourth stage students got repetitions for the natural concepts. The concern has been focused on after the results of the science , where it has been got about 296 repetitions with 47% , while , the morals of the science got the lower repetitions, where its repetitions has got 29 with 5%. 2. The book of " geography" for the fourth secondary stage has got 246 repetitions for the processes of basic science , most of which focused on skills of classification and numbers using ,where it has formed ( 109) SKILLS of 246 skills , with 44% of the scientific content of the book. 3. The students have got average ( considerable ) in the test of the nature of science and its basic processes.4. There are statistic differences in the performance of the students on the test of nature of the science based on the gender variable. and for the benefit of the girls. 5. There are not statistic differences in the performance of the students on the test of basic science processes based on the gender variable. The researcher has placed a set of recommendations : 1. The necessity of developing the book of bases of Geography and its techniques for the fourth stage students , in a way that secures the nature of the science and its processes as to time the recent developments ; besides m the awareness of the students with the importance of the science and its applications in their life and societies.2. Directing those who are responsible for developing the curriculums , especially ' Geography" to focus on the importance of the science processes , along with its effect. 3. Directing the male and female teachers of Geography , by the supervisors, to focus on the importance of the activities included in the book. 4. Paying huge concern to link the geography with the life of the students and to get forth the role of the geography concept in serving and developing the society and solving its problems. For completing the research 's procedures, the researcher has suggested the following : 1. Making analytic and descriptive studies of the contents of " Geography" for the primary and intermediate stage to know the contents of the science and its processes. 2. Abstract: يهدف هذا البحث الى : 1ـ بناء برنامج تعليمي على وفق النظرية البنائية.2ـ تعرف فاعلية البرنامج التعليمي في تحصيل مادة الجغرافية والدافع المعرفي لدى طلاب الصف الخامس الادبي. ولتحقيق هدفا البحث اعتمد الباحث منهجين : المنهج الوصفي في بناء البرنامج التعليمي وال | The research aims at : 1 - Creating an educative programme due to structural method. 2 - Recognizing the efficiency of an educative programme in gaining geography subject and knowledgeable motif of fifth literary students. To achieve the purpose of the research , the researcher has depended two procedures : descriptive procedure in building the educative programme and experimental procedure in recognizing the efficiency of the educative programme in gaining geography and knowledgeable motif of fifth literary students. This research has limited on fifth literary students in secondary and preparatory morning schools in the centre of Babylon governorate for academic year 2014 - 2015. The researcher has depended an experimental design with partial control ( experimental group and control group ) with distance test. The sample of the research is ( 61 ) students from fifth literary classes in Al - Thawra Preparatory School for Boys distributing with ( 31 ) students in experimental group and ( 30 ) students in the controlling group. Equivalence has been done between the two research groups in alternatives of ( time age calculated in months , intelligence , previous knowledge in geography , knowledgeable motif , qualification of the former year ) The researcher has taught the two groups of the research by himself through the period of experiment which lasted a full school year.He has prepared two devices to measure the related varieties. The first represented by gaining test which has two questions : The first objective one of multiple choices , it included ( 48 ) test items to measure the level of ( knowledge , understanding , application ) and the second question was ( article , consists of ( 12 ) items to measure the levels of ( analyzing , structure , evaluation ) from Bloom classification. The second device was to measure the knowledgeable motif which included ( 50 ) items distributed in five fields. The two devices have been applied at the end of the experiment after making sure of its psychometric characteristics. After analyzing the data by using T - Test for two independent samples , the results have shown the following : - 1 - There is a deference with statistic indication in marks average of students of both groups in gaining test for experimental group.2 - There is a difference with statistic indication in marks average of both groups students in knowledgeable motif for the experimental group. According to the results of the research , the researcher has recommended many recommendations , some of them are : - 1 - Ministry of education has to adopt the educative programme in teaching geography in fifth literary class for having an efficiency in increasing the level of gaining and knowledgeable motif.2 - Organizing workshops for geography supervisors and the teachers that aim to training them on how to employ educative programmes based on structural method to get benefit in their work.3 - Ministry of education should give a great importance of available necessary requirements to implement such educative programmes represented by study halls furnished with different study requirements. The researcher has suggested to do a number of studies to go on with this study , some of them : - 1 - A study to know the effect of educative programme in females gaining because this study focused on male students. 2 - A study to know the effect of educative programme in other varieties represented by acquiring geographical aspects , developing geographic skills , developing the direction and developing the thought in its different types

Abstract: يرمي البحث الى : 1 - بناء برنامج تعليمي على وفق استراتيجيات التعلم النشط2 - بيان فاعليته في تحصيل مادة الجغرافية وعمليات العلم الاساسية لدى طلاب الصف الخامس الادبي. ولتحقيق هدفي البحث اعتمد الباحث على منهجين، هما : المنهج الوصفي في بناء البرنامج التعليمي | The present study aims at : 1 - Building a pedagogical program according to the strategy of Active Learning.2 - Stating the effectiveness in the Achievement of geography and the Basic Science processes for fifth Grade\Literary branch students.In order to achieve the objectives of the study the researcher depended in two methodologies : the descriptive approach in building the pedagogical program, and the experimental approach in stating the effectiveness in the achievement of geography and the basic learning processes for fifth grade stage students through the verification of the following two zero hypotheses : 1 - There are no statistical significant differences in average score of achievement the students of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program according to the Active Learning Strategy and the average score of students of the control group who study in the same material without the program (traditional method).2 - There are no statistical significant differences in average score of the students of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program according to the Active Learning Strategy and the average score of students of the control group who study in the same material without the program (traditional method). In the Basic Science Posttest. The present study was confined to the students of governmental secondary and preparatory schools (Day Classes) for boys in Baghdad governorate\ Rusafa II for the academic year 2014/2015. He depended on the partial adjustment (experimental, control groups) with the posttest. The sample of the study composed of (73) students from the fifth grade \Literary branch : (36) of the experimental group in Al - Jazzera preparatory school and (37) control group from Al - Shaheed Ahmed Al - Husseiny School. The two groups were matched in the variables of (age, IQ, previous information test, basic science processes pretest, previous knowledge in geography, and parent achievement). The researcher prepared two tools for the dependent variable; the first is the achievement test made up of two questions : the first is the multiple choice type - four options - 40 items to measure the minimum levels of Bloom’s Classification (knowledge, comprehension, application). The second measures the maximum levels (analysis, syntnesis, evaluation), composed of 14 questions - essay type - The validity and constancy of the, and the calculation of the psychometric features were all verified. The Basic Sciences processes test made of 40 items the multiple choice type - four options - The validity and constancy of the, and the calculation of the psychometric features were all verified. The two tests were applied at the end of the experiment which lasted for one scholastic year starting from 3/11/2014 to 9/4/2015. The data obtained were processed by the use of the t - test for two independent samples. The following findings were concluded : 1 - The exceling of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program according to Active Leaning Strategies over the students of the control group who study in the same material without the program (traditional method) in acchievement test.2 - The exceling of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program according to Active Leaning Strategies over the students of the control group who study in the same material without the program (traditional method) in Basic Sciences processes test.Upon the above, the researcher comes up to the findings, and put some recommendation such as : 1 - Teachers of geography should take care choosing the teaching strategies that are suitable with the studying themes, and activating the role of the activations to acquire the learners the basic sciences process and to increase their achievement. 2 - The necessity of including the Sciences processes in the books of the geography specially the book of Natural Geography by the geography curricula makers. 3 - Making the teachers familiar with the active learning and its strategies, and training them on this.4 - Making the teachers familiar with the Basic Sciences processes and its strategies, and training them through continuous courses.5 - Calling the Ministry of Education to make use of the pedagogical program prepared by the researcher, and applying it on the students of Fifth Grade\ Literary Branch in Geography. In completion to this study, the researcher the following : 1 - Measuring the effectiveness of the other active learning strategies and the Basic Sciences processes.2 - Making a study to the effectiveness of the active leaning in the integrated Sciences processes test in the preparatory.3 - Measuring the effect of the program prepared the researcher in other variables other than acquisition and sciences processes like thinking in its type (the geographical thinking, critical and innovative thinking) or motivation for the inclination for the learners

Abstract: ويهدف البحث الحالي الى تعرف اثر استراتيجية المتشابهات في اكتساب المفاهيم الجغرافية لدى طالبات الصف الاول المتوسط. وتحدد بطالبات الصف الاول المتوسط. ولغرض التحقق من هدف البحث تم صياغة الفرضيتين الصفرية الاتيتين : - 1 - "ليس هناك فرق ذو دلالة احصائية عند مست | Represented The importance of the current research is represented as it was commensurate with the requirements of the great development in the global education system and our education system, in particular, which focuses on the concepts as a basis for learning in teaching, and because this problem is not new one , but , actually , the methods of processing are still characterized by a lot of shortcomings in the present time, because of the great increase in the accumulated knowledge, however , the need to search for the most suitable ways and means to deliver information to students which requires the use of an effective and planned strategies so as to make Learning Process more interesting and enjoyable for students , as well , to raise their motivation to learn, and to make it easier for students to acquire concepts in geography classes, in particular, and a better way so the researcher considers to use similar strategies to support and assist students in acquiring geographical concepts. This research aims to identify the impact of similarities in the acquisition strategy of geographical concepts for Intermediate first - grade girl students. And to determine the average first - grade female students in the city of Baghdad / Educational Directorate in II Rusafa for the academic year (2014 - 2015). For the purpose of verification the aim of the research formulation of Two Zero hypotheses was formulated as following cases : - 1 - There is no statistical significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group of girl students who are studying strategy of similarities and the controlled group girl students who are studying the same subject in the usual way, in paragraphs of geographical concepts in the post - test for the purpose of acquisition the geographical concepts.2 - There is no statistical significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group girl students who are studying strategy of similarities and the controlled group girl students who are studying the same subject in the usual way in the post - test for the acquisition of geographical concepts."In order to achieve the aim of the research , researcher has relied on the experimental method of equivalent group, which includes two groups, the experimental group and the controlled group, as the research sample has formed of 70 girl students from the first grade of Intermediate school randomly selected at (Al Khalidat Secondary School For Girls) located in Al (Baladiyat District) , members were randomly distributed and assigned into to two main groups (experimental and controlled group) Experimental one has included (35) thirty five girl students which were taught the strategy of similarities, on other hand , the controlled group has included (35) Thirty five girl students who were taught the usual way. The researcher has rewarded the two groups experience (sample of study ) statistically by adjusting variables (chronological age, intelligence and grades the previous year in Iraq geographical subject and prior knowledge of the girl students in geography classes, and educational attainment of the parents). The researcher has Identified the scientific subject in the first chapter of the academic year (2013 - 2014) in the geographical subject , it has contained the first three chapters from the book of the general geographical principles for first grade which were studied by the researcher herself.Furthermore , the researcher has identified all the major and sub concepts which included the first three chapters The formulation of the concept acquisition targets for this class according to acquire the concept of levels was implemented (definition , discrimination, and application). The researcher has prepared a teaching plan for the controlled group, and a teaching plan for the experimental group. Experience has lasted for (43 forty three days), as the researcher has studied the couple groups of research, at the end of the experiment , a tool of sample was applied for this sample to acquire post concepts which was prepared by the researcher to form the final shape (40) forty paragraphs of multiple - choice with four alternatives were , as validity and reliability coefficient of discrimination and difficulty and effectiveness of alternatives were depended and accounted as well for this test and treated the results by using samples t - test (t - test) for two independent samples the researcher has adopted on other statistical methods such as Pearson correlation coefficient, however , the results showed the superiority of girl students in the experimental group who studied according to similarities against the controlled girl students group who taught according to the traditional method of testing to acquire post concepts.Accordance to the research results , researcher has concluded the following recommendations : 1 - Emphasizing on teachers to use the strategic similarities in some of the concepts in social studies, for its positive impact on the acquisition of concepts among girl students.2 - Increasing geography books prescribed in different educational levels of educational activities which are prepared according to strategy of similarities , in the form of questions.3 - Confirm the educational supervisors during their visit to teachers of Geography for the importance of using the closest examples within the student environment, without focusing on teaching aids comic or three - dimensional and prepared by the students sometimes for getting additional degrees.The researcher has developed several proposals as follow1. A similar study of the current study in other stages of seminars and classes.2. Study to determine the impact of the teaching for the strategy of geographical concepts and similarities offset by other strategies such as differentiated education strategy.3. Study on the impact of strategy of similarities in other variables, such as a critical thinking, and creative one ,.... etc.4. Balanced study between the impact of the use of geographical similarities strategy in teaching high marks students achievement, and middle - attainment, and low achievement one.5. Holding descriptive study about the reality of awareness and use of teachers for the strategy and the use of analogies of surrounding environment.

The researcher adopted a partial seizure experimental design, the two groups (experimental and control) with a posttest. And chose a researcher School (secondary Al - nboog for girls) of the center of Baghdad province, the Directorate - General for Education Baghdad's Karkh / First , for the purpose of application of the experiment, which includes two divisions for grade average, were selected randomly Division (b) to represent the students in the experimental group, while representing Division (a ) students of the control group, and reached the sample (70) Student, by (35) students in each division. The researcher rewarded students between the two sets of research in a number of variables that have an impact on the results of an experiment (age in months, the Achievement of parents, a year earlier grades, test the previous information in the geographical material, Raven test of intelligence). And studied the researcher herself students two sets of search after it identified topics article, and has prepared necessary to teach students two sets of research lesson plans, and the number of plans (32) plan for both of the two groups, the rate of (16) a plan for each group, and presented to a group of arbitrators and specialists, and in the light of opinions I conducted the necessary adjustments. For the purpose of achievement measure in the article "general geographical material for the students of the two sets of research in the subjects studied by the researcher, it prepared a test for it, as it consisted of three questions, the first question (37) items of multiple choice, second and third questions of questions type essay short (8) a paragraph, and was confirmed by his sincerity and persistence and the coefficient of difficulty and strength discriminatory paragraphs and effectiveness of false alternatives, and presented to a group of arbitrators, and applied the test on the sample after the completion of the experiment, which lasted 8 weeks and is dedicated to the work experience period. It was through the use of data analysis (coefficient of difficulty, discrimination coefficient, effective alternatives, T - Test test for two independent samples, Kuder Richardson equation 20 and equation Cronbach's alpha) , study resulted in the following conclusion : Higher than students who experimental group studied model Perkins and Blythe, the students of the control group who studied traditional way, if it reaches the arithmetic mean experimental group (29.314), while reached the avarge mean of the control group (22 657), at the significance level (0.05) in the post - test this means that the students who have studied the model according to Perkins and Blyth best in the attainment of the students who was their teaching in the traditional group and in the light of the results of this study, was to reach a set of conclusions and recommendations, and proposals

There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who have studied the use of strategic planning organizations, and between the average scores of the control group students who have studied the same subject in the usual way in the post achievement test.Thesis Limits : The current research is determined by the following : 1 - The first grade intermediate students in intermediate & secondary school for boys in day - breeding Baghdad / Karkh Directorate the second.2 - Geography - book as prescribed by the Ministry of Education for the year (2014 - 2015) the first semester of the academic year (2014 - 2015).The researcher has chosen the partial design for couple groups : The Control Group & The Experimental Group in Post Achievement Test. Educational province of Baghdad / Al Karkh II was selected at random and then Al Dawra District was randomly chosen of the six sectors of the Directorate, (Dirar bin Azores) Intermediate School for Boys at random from among this sector of the schools. The researcher has identified and determined two divisions of first grade intermediate students , in order to , one of them be Experimental one and the other Controlled Group which reached a final form of (60) students , (30) students of the experimental group (30) students of the control group.The two groups , the Experimental and The Control one were statically rewarded in the following variables (Intelligence , Chronological Age , Previous Geographical information , educational attainment of the parents, and the previous year degrees). Statistically significant Differences did not appear in these variables. The researcher had identified the scientific and formulated the goals for behavioral substance to the search experience levels, according to Bloom (knowledge, understanding, and application) furthermore , she has prepared plans for the two sets of teaching research. She has prepared , as well , the concluded achievement post test , and this test is consisted of (40) test paragraph from multiple choice to measure student achievement, virtual honesty and sincerity content of the test have been extracted , paragraphs were analyzed by extracting difficult and force discriminatory level of each paragraph and effectiveness of the wrong alternatives analysisApplication for experienceThe experiment began in the (Tuesday, 11/11/2014) and lasted for 8 weeks as ended (Sunday, 01/11/2015) The researcher taught the two groups , and after the end of the probationary period , the researcher applied test of the acquisition of geographical for the two groups concepts.Research Results : After collecting the data and find the difference between the average scores of students in the testing and use of test samples (T) for two independent samples, the researcher has found that there is a statistical significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) for the experimental group which studied the strategy planning organizations in the collection of geographic subject , thus the researcher has reached and concluded , in the light of the results of the study to a group of the most prominent conclusions, help strategy to provide a learning environment in thinking, it can contribute to improving the student's ability to absorption and collection, and this leads the student to play a positive role in the collection and organization of information and follow - up and evaluation and increase their ability to use information and employ them in various positions of Education.The researcher's recommendations including according to the result include the following below : ? Urging supervisors and school administration to train teachers in the use of this strategy and to encourage them to employ them in the classroom.? Providing planners and developers and implementers of the curriculum with the results of studies that have proven the effectiveness of this strategy so that they curricula and teaching methods in light of the development of this strategy.? The partial experimental design of two groups, experimental and control, with pre - post tests is used. The sample is represented in (73) female pupils. The sample is divided into two groups (37) experimental group and (36) control one. The sam ple is selected from first intermediate class pupils ( Al Batol intermediate school for girls) \ Baghdad\ Al - karkh - 3, for academic year 2015 - 2016. The researcher has equalized the two groups in several variables : the previous achievement tests, intelligence, age in months, the scores of geography test of first course. She has also selected the last three chapters of geography textbook (2016) as a material to be taught. The researcher has put the instructional objectives in the light of the general aims according to the Bloom Taxonomy, the first three levels (knowledge, understanding and applying). The study tool is an achievement test of 40 multiple choices items. The test is constructed by the researcher and ensured its validity and reliability. The t - test and Spss program are used to find out the results which show that there are statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the two groups in favor of experimental group. The tutorial building according to Landa theory which of six educational classes included each chapter on behavioral objectives for each topic of educational content and strategies to Landa theory as well as the activities and training and educational means and after that confirmed the researcher of sincerity program has been applied to students of fifth grade literary from ( junior high valor for girls) of the Directorate of Education Rusafa first / Baghdad for the academic year 2014 - 2015, and formed the sample of 60 students, the rate of (30) students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group was parity between the two groups prior to starting the experiment in a number of variables are (chronological age of the students measured in months, steps geographical material in the final test of the previous year, the academic achievement of the parents, the IQ test, the former geographical knowledge test, test tribal) scientific thinking. And the researcher to build two tests first achievement after me consists of (50) paragraph test and the second test dimensional scientific thinking and consists of (30) items and after confirmation of the sincerity of the two tests and steadfastness and make the necessary statistical analysis have been apply them to sample and after processing the data statistically using the test samples t for two independent samples (t test).Results appeared as follows : 1. Exceed the students in the experimental group that studied the natural geographical material using the tutorial according to Landa theory on female control group studied the same material without the tutorial (the traditional way) in achievement test.2. Abstract: The present study aims to construct a Teaching program proposed in the collection of material GIS and identifying its effectiveness on the 2nd year female students who are participating in the experiment al group at the Department of Geography, college of Education For Women, University of Baghdad. Two groups are assigned randomly as an experimental group which is section A , and a control group which is section B from the Deportment of Geography at the college of Education for Women. The total number It amounted research sample (60) by a student (30) students in each division. The two groups are equalized in several Factors which are : IQ lest , Age in months , prior knowledge , And testing of the above information for geographic information systems (pre - test), and academic achievement for parents, as well as several intruding factors are also controlled during the experimental work. I studied the researcher herself students two sets of search after it identified topics article, and the researcher to build its teaching proposed using the program (ARC GIS V.9.3) for the collection of material geographic information systems, and prepared necessary to teach students two sets Find lesson plans, and the number of plans (44) Plan for each of the two groups, the rate of (22) plan for each group, and presented to a group of arbitrators and specialists, and in the light of the opinions held by the necessary adjustments. For the purpose of measuring achievement in the subject of GIS for students in the two sets of research topics studied by the researcher. The lest includes two questions : Q1 includes 35 items of the MCQ items, where as Q2 includes 15 items of a Short essay type. Validity , reliability, and item analyst including the item level of difficulty , item discrimination power , and the power of affective ness for the incorrect alternatives , The lest have been exposed an a group of Arbitrators , then applied in sample of both groups before starting the experimental work , and after eleven weeks which is the assigned period of work Experience. Data is analyzed by using two - independent samples T - test. Results revealed the following : The experimental group students were superior on the control group ones on a level of significance of 0.05 on the post lest. This means that students who have been taught by The proposed teaching program are better in their achievement than those who were taught Geographic information system without the suggested model. In light of the results of this study, it was found to a set of conclusions and recommendations, and proposals. Conclusions : 1. The use of the proposed teaching program led to the positive interaction of the students, and active participation for the duration of the experiment. 2. Use of the proposed teaching program has helped to raise the level of second grade students in the collection of material GIS. Recommendations : 1. attention to technology as an essential tool in the learning process - learning in all academic levels and on school and college level 2.alahtmam the use of modern educational technologies by about a year, and construction of the proposed teaching about special programs, consistent with the characteristics of the students, and the nature of the course material through reconsider its own geographic information material taught Bmdarcna our colleges and even kept pace with the age of technology and information systems curriculum. The researcher has followed an experimental method which is the design of the control group according to random specialization for individuals and pre - and post - tests.The researcher has randomly chosen education directorate of al - Rusafa /2 of among six directorates and by the same method. It has been chosen the Martyr Nadhim intermediate school where it has been randomly chosen three sections of students of among five sections which are ( B,C,D) and by the same method ; the section B represents 1st experimental group , section C represents 2nd experimental group and D represents the control group. The sample amounts 90 students , 30 students in the 1st experimental group who have studied with strategy of trainer , 30 students who have studied with strategy of existing - mistakes and 30 students in the control group who have studied with the traditional method. Equivalence has been carried out amongst the three groups in the variables ( test of intelligence , test of acquiring geographic concepts , former marks of geography subject, time multiplied with months and educations for the parents). It has been verified the internal and external safety for removing the effect of internal variables that could affect the followed - up variables. The educational substance in the geography subject has been specified , it has been analyzed the content of the subject as to specify the concepts the substance includes. It has been amounted 109 geographic concept. The researcher has randomly chosen 20 concepts for building a test of geographic concepts acquisition , taking into consideration the time and the stage for the students. The researcher has prepared the behavior goals that amounted 321 behavioral goal according to the three operations for acquiring the concept ( definition, distinction, application) , it has been prepared 87 studying plan , that every group has ( 29) plan ; besides, it has been prepared a test for acquiring the geographical concepts. The test includes 60 item of multi - test and its psychometric properties. The researcher has confirmed validity and consistence of the test. The researcher has prepared list of geographical thinking skills and then he has exposed them to the experts. Based on their recommendation, the researcher has built a test of geographical thinking acquisition that includes 32 items. The researcher has confirmed validity and consistence of the test and its psychometric aspects. The two tests have been applied after the end of experiment that continued for one studying year as of 11/10/2015 up to 15/3/2016.. After statistically processing by using unitary analysis , it has been indicated the following results : • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between three groups ' grades average in acquiring the geographic concepts and thinking.• There are not statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd experimental group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 1st experimental group. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 2nd experimental group. • There are not statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd experimental group grades averages in geographic thinking test. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 1st experimental group grades average and 2nd control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts for the benefit of 1st experimental group. • There are statistical differences at level of 0.05 between 2nd experimental group grades average and control group grades averages in acquiring geographic concepts thinking. In the light of the results , the researcher has concluded the following : • Studying the geography subject according to the strategy of the trainer is huger effect than studying it with the traditional method in acquiring the geographic concepts and thinking. • Studying the geography subject according to the mistake - exist strategy is huger effect than studying it with the traditional method in acquiring the geographic concepts and geographical thinking. In the light of the results , the researcher has recommended the following : • Directing the geography subject teacher not to use the traditional method , use trainee's strategy and mistake - existing strategy in studying the geographic concepts as having a grand effect on acquiring the geographic concepts and geographical thinking. • Granting the students in the intermediate stage in and outside the school for acquiring the geographical concepts and geographic thinking. The researcher has suggested the following : • Making experimental study that uses other strategies of strategy of learning the activity in acquiring the geographical thinking and concepts. • Measuring the effect of trainer's strategy and mistake - exist strategy in other variables unlike the geographical concepts. • Re - applying strategy of trainee and mistake - exist strategy in other studying stages. • Making a study aiming at knowing the effect of the trainer's strategy and mistake - exist strategy in other variable just like motivation toward geography - trends toward Geography - development multi - intelligences and geographical Concepts Mistake correction

Abstract: يرمي هذا البحث الى معرفة اثر استراتيجية اليد النشطة في تحصيل مادة الاجتماعيات لدى تلامذة الصف الخامس الابتدائي. ولتحقيق هدف البحث صاغت الباحثة الفرضية الصفرية الاتية : ليس هناك فرق ذو دلالة احصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0,05) بين متوسط درجات تلامذة المجموعة | The present study aims at identifying the Effect of the Hand - on Strategy in the Achievement of Social studies at the Fifth Grade Primary School.To achieve the objective , the researcher formulated null hypotheses : There is no statistically difference significant at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who have studied by the hand - on strategy and between the average scores of the control group who studied the same material in the traditional method in the achievement.The researcher depend on a partial seizure experimental design a (design of the experimental group and a control group of the post - teat) and the researcher chose the students of the fifth grade from the primary school (Abdull bin Maktoum) a mixed school in one of the Education directorate school / AL - Russafa The second / Baghdad , for the academic year (2014 - 2015) and that for the purpose of application the experiment , the sample consisted of (72) male and female from the fifth grad student , by (36) one in the experiment group that taught according to the Hand - on strategy , and (36) of the student in the control group that they were taught by the traditional method.The researcher equalized between the two groups before starting the experience in some of variables are (pre - knowledge test , the grades of the social studies material for the previous year , IQ level , Academic achievement for the parents , and the age in months) , the material that going to be taught has been identified which included the first chapters of the social studies which included the whale article of the Geography that going to be taught to the Fifth Grad Primary for theyear 2015 , Than the researcher formed the behavioral goals that included (80) behavioral goal in light of the overall goals and according to (Bloom) classification for the knowledge domain of three levels (knowledge , understanding , application). The researcher prepared plans for teaching the subjects that should be taught for the both of the search groups studied , and for the search tool the researcher prepared an Achievement objective test a multiple - choice type that included (30) paragraph according to the map test (table specifications) , and the researcher confirmed from its sincerity and persistence and its psychometric properties. The researcher applied the experience in the first semester of the academic year (2014 - 2015) A.D on Wednesday (29/10/2014) and the experience ended on Monday (12/1/2015) as the researcher applied the achievement post - test , the experiment lasted for 10 week by two lessons per week for each group , and the two groups were taught by the researcher herself. To handling the data statistically the researcher depended the (T - test) and the results showed : There is a statistically difference significant at the level of (0,05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who have studied by the Hand - on strategy and between the average scores of the control group who studied the same material in the traditional method and in the advantage of the experimental group in the achievement. In the light of the outcome the researcher concluded : That the Hand - on strategy has the positive effect in the social studies material with the students of the fifth grade primary , so this strategy is more effective than the traditional method.The researcher recommended a number of recommendations are : 1. Seminar and training courses for the teachers included the subject of the Active Learning strategies included the Hand - on strategy.2. Create the Social studies material according to the Active learning by giving the learners more space for creativity and participation.3. Supplies the Active learning equipment that help the success of the teaching process according to the modern strategies.4. Dependence the Hand - on strategy in the teaching social studies (geography) at the primary school because of its properties and the positive effect in raising the level of achievement.The researcher proposed : 1. Conducting studies that dealing with the Hand - on strategy on a different materials and study stages and its effect on different following like the kinetic intelligence , the retention , and the trend toward the material.2. A study to determine the direction of the teachers about there practicing the Active learning strategies including the Hand - on strategy.

Abstract: يرمي هذا البحث التعرف على فاعلية برنامج تعليمي على وفق نظرية معالجة المعلومات في تحصيل مادة الجغرافية وتنمية مهارات ما وراء المعرفة لدى طالبات الصف الخامس الادبي، ولتحقيق هدف البحث اعتمدت الباحثة على منهجين هما : المنهج الوصفي في بناء البرنامج التعليمي وال | The present study aims at : The effect of pedagogical program according to the theory of information processing in the achievement of geography and development of metacognition skills for fifth grade \literary branch students.In order to achieve the objectives of the study the researcher depended in two methodologies : the descriptive approach in building the pedagogical program, and the experimental approach in stating the effectiveness in the acquisition of geography and the basic learning processes for fifth grade stage students through the verification of the following two zero hypotheses : 1 - There are no statistical significant differences in average score of the students of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the program prepared according to the theory of information processing and the average score of students of the control group who study in posttest.2 - There are no statistical significant differences in average score of the students of the experimental group who learn the Natural Geography by the program prepared according to the theory of information processing and the average score of students of the control group who study in the scale metacognition skills. The present study was confined to the students of fifth literary branch in the Markaziya secondary school for Girls in (30) students for the control group the Secondary school of Khadija Al - Kubra in (30) students. The two groups were matched in the variables of (age, IQ, previous information test, basic science processes pretest, previous knowledge in geography, and parent acquisition). The researcher prepared two tools for the dependent variable; the first is the achievement test made up of 40 of test items in 38 items to measure the behavioral objectives (knowledge, understanding, evaluation). The second tool represent the adaptation of the scale (Seshro and Widenson, 1994). Which is adjusted to the Arab environment by the researchers (Al - Jarah and Abaedat, 2011). It consists of ((42) items( of fivefold). The experiment lasted for one academic year 2/11/2014 - 15/4/2015. The researcher lasted for the two groups. At the end of the experiment the researcher applied the achievement test on the two groups of study. After grading the answer sheets, they were subject to statistical process by the use of t - test. The results showed the following : 1. The excel of the experimental group who studied the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program prepared according to the information process over the students of the control group who study in the same subject in the traditional methods in the achievement of natural geography.2. The excel of the experimental group who studied the Natural Geography by the pedagogical program prepared according to the information process over the students of the control group who study in the same subject in the traditional methods in the metacognition test.In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher comes up to the following findings : 1. There is a need for the students of the preparatory school for pedagogical program according to the theory that the upper mental processes that enhance the learner in the pedagogical processes.2. The effectiveness of the pedagogical information according to the theory of information processing in developing the metacognition skills and the increase of the achievement in geography. 3. The benefit from the theory of information processing and the strategy in teaching natural geography for the stage. The researcher recommends : 1. The necessity of making benefit of the information processing and the strategy in teaching natural geography for the stage. 2. Organizing courses training for the teachers of geography about how to depend on the information processing. In completion of the study the researcher suggests a number of suggestions : 1. Making a similar study about other variables like gender and the stage. 2. Making a comparison between the metacognitive skills and the other skills

Abstract: يرمي هذا البحث الى تقويم اداء مدرسي الجغرافية للمرحلة المتوسطة على وفق كفايات المدرس الفعال. ولتحقيق هدف البحث اتبعت الباحثة اجراءات المنهج الوصفي المتمثلة باختيار عينة البحث اذ شملت (106) مدرسا ومدرسة لمادة الجغرافية في المرحلة المتوسطة وبنسبة (5%) من مج | The aim of the present study is to evaluate the performance of intermediate school geography teachers according to the efficiencies of the effective teacher. To achieve this aim, the researcher has followed the descriptive research methods by selecting the research sample, male and female geography teachers (106). They form (5%) of the total research population consisting of males (647) and females (1487). They are geography teachers from intermediate schools affiliated to Baghdad directorates of Iraq Ministry of Education. Then, the researcher has made a checklist of the teaching efficiencies of the effective teacher of geography. It includes (42) efficiencies within (4) areas. The validity of the list items has been ensured by a jury of experts in the fields of teaching methodology and measurement and evaluation. The checklist has been used by the researcher when observing the research sample within a period of time extending from 1 December 2015 to 15 March 2016. Inter - rater reliability is established and the degree of agreement is (0.83), (0.81), (0.76), (0.88). For data analysis, the following methods are used : the Fisher formula and Chi - square. The results are as follows : out of (42) efficiencies, (33) are used. The researcher has explained the reasons why (9) efficiencies are not used.Conclusions : 1 - The male and female teachers of Geography have a level of the effective teacher efficiencies that is acceptable according to the educational standards. 2 - The female teachers of Geography have a level of the effective teacher efficiencies higher than that of the male teachers. Recommendations : 1 - It is necessary for the male and female teachers of Geography at the intermediate schools to pay attention to the practical aspects and skills when teaching Geography by using models of instruments and maps and drawing maps.2 - It is necessary for the Ministry of Education to organize courses on the effective teaching efficiencies for the Geography teachers. Suggestions : 1 - Studying the evaluation of the effective teaching efficiencies for the Geography teachers from the perspectives of the Geography supervisors or the school principals. 2 - Studying the effective teaching efficiencies for the Geography teachers in other educational stages.
