Abstract: In the era that is characterized by knowledge an informatics and the opining on all sciences for the sake of comprehension of the scientific knowledge's and employing it for the desired revival in the education of the individual and direct him by the last manner in order to use all the available knowledge's one of these knowledge's that serves the society and have the influence in deepening the human awareness through the employment of the relation between the language , symbol , and the truth and this what is called semiology.Semiotics interested in human knowledge's in what it represents as indicative practices, so that scientists of sociology went in searching about the importance of the symbol and the sign in the fields of social knowledge, and in the context of this dialectical relationship of human knowledge that includes the reaction of the (indicative and indicted) , this concept formed general human dimension, and this what we may find in the Arabic and Islamic heritage which was with its civilized comprehensiveness a cultural storage represented in the linguistic , philosophic , and rhetoric hereditary , aside tram the representation of the social hereditary which was clear in its introduction.The importance of linking between the content of the advertising address and knowledge production was one of the most presented interests of language and advertisement experts, where this linking led to strengthen the prestige of the Arabic language in the international arena although in the same time it gave the semiotics big position in the advertising wages and exploding it.In the field public advertising address as a documentary and educational tool , and this wage was not the outcome of the historical modern moments but it was ancient in the usage , so that the west knew the semiotic in its advertising and media address within the semiotic frame , and for this reason the English philosopher ( John Lock ) referred to the importance of semiotic as a field in the human knowledge , suggesting that semiotic should be as on independent science , prior to him in proposing this opinion was ( John Dan Thomas ) withinit's scientific , knowledge and philosophic frame to support the semiotic knowledge , and from the high importance of the semiotic as a branch of human awareness and for the purpose of using this scientific and rhetoric terminology, therefor ( the researcher ) see that semiotic is one of the advertising actively severs in its social frame using kinds of advertisement which express the visions and social concepts of the issued goals in order to reach the complete awareness to the close symbols and signs because it addresses different social layers , different regarding this culture and this ideologies , this believes and this tends through the symbolic information within its semiotic frame described as a communicative message that achieve a prominent and educational role in the social life where the social and political poster was in the voters with the parliament and political leaders.This study should the importance of advertising poster as one of the semiotic tools with its advertising function to connect the establishment service represented by the ministry of health with a knowledge frame to build a qualitative base to educate the citizen in the field of health through the advertising usage by employing the duality of the indicator and indicated as one of the main bases in the systematic procedure of the semiotic criterion from here , we can see the importance of the semiotic function of the poster in expressing the communicative message activity and this subject is not new in the field of advertising function as much as it may contribute as a knowledge and scientific field which is characterized by its systematic procedure in the field of advertisement.The thesis had been divided into five chapters, it had been distributed between the systematic, theoretical, and practical field frames, where first chapter covered the research systematic procedure and its importance, problematic issues, and its goals. Which the second chapter distributed into twothemes : the first included : the development and evolution of the semiotic concept in the Arabic and western thinking. The second theme included : the semiotic schools and this communicative, indicative and cultural tendencies.While the third chapter contained two themes where the first dealt with the semiotics of the communicative and advertising address in the public relations due to the scientific and communicative semiotic concepts, in addition to the functions and advantages of the advertisement and elements and principles of poster design , aside from the systematic approach in the advertising address analysis , while the second theme included the advertisement within the frame of the symbolic interactive theory due to the symbolic communicating interaction and it's references and the relation of advertisement with the symbolic interactive theory. The fourth chapter distributed into two themes, the first included : the semiotic of the advertising picture due to conception and components, while the second theme included the persuasive communicative ability of the advertising picture. The thesis also included in its fifth chapters the application part while had been represented by the advertising posters issued by the ministry of health for the period (2005 2015) through the qualitative and quantitative approach.Finally the study covered the explanation of result that had been reached by the researcher, most important of which are : 1 - The depending of all samples on employing the verbal and image texts.2 - The advertisement construction in all samples had been based on the clarification of indicative or (semantic) and interpretative dimension.3 - Most of samples depended on the employment of the representational non declarative icons.And according to what had been reached by the researcher, the conclusions and recommendations were presented.A summary of thesis also included.

Abstract: Thesis study deals with the mental image of the Iraqi public for the offices of the general inspectors.The researcher , an being a member staff of the general inspector office , ministry of interior , riot iced that these offices cannot achieve their mission and perform their assigned tasks efficiently in the lack of cooperation and support on part of the public. As such , the researcher found out that this topic is worth studying.This study aims at exploring the nature and aspects of the mental image of the Iraqi public for the offices of the general inspectors in Higher Education and Scientific Research , Health , and Interior Ministries.The researcher applied the survey research method to conduct this study as the most suitable me theologies for such a research.As concerns the findings , the most important ones include : - Discovery of the most important changes. - Influencing the mental image of the Iraqi public for the offices of the general inspectors. - Knowing the relationship between the mental image and personation. - The findings show that the public has got a positive mental image for the general inspector office in the ministry of higher Education and scientific Research , while the mental image for the same office in the ministry of health was negative one.The most important recommendations include : - Making the office of the general inspector an independent office to avoid the influence on the inspection process. - Activating the role of the media units in the inspectors offices to inform the public of the administrative and financial corruption

In the second section the researcher touched about electronic communication technology and the main distinction of this modern communication techniques.The researcher touched at the third section of the second chapter to the topic of electronic publication explaining the most important distinction of this publication and features the addition of the electronic publishing of various services.In the third chapter, the researcher in the first section talking about the international information network (Internet) explaining the most important stages of its development since its inception and until recently.The second section of the third chapter included the several using of the international information network (Internet) in various fields, adding the most important services offered by this network. In the third section, the researcher was talking about the electronic website design explaining the types of electronic website according to its design and the important component of the electronic website pages. Chapter four was devoted to interpreting the data surveyed and contained statistical tables in addition to illustrations designed by the researcher using modern software and technique (3D) where the illustrations used 3D. Abstract: The public relations and social capital formed the two cognitive anchors on which the study was based, in that the public relations represented their independent variable, while the social capital represented the dependent variable.This study addressed the public relations and their role in developing the social capital of governmental institutions - a survey study on the Iraqi ministries. The problem of the study was represented by an attempt to answer a main question : what is the role of public relations in developing the social capital in the Iraqi ministries?, and identified the social capital elements as a dependent variable (trustcooperation - fellowship - human capital), and public relations and their activities as independent variable. The study purpose was manifested in identifying the level of social capital within the ministries and how to invest it, as well as the relationship between public relations and social capital in the Iraqi ministries. The study method was a survey one.Hypotheses were formulated concerning the test of differences hypotheses, influence hypotheses, and the relationship hypotheses between the variables of the study. The personal interviews, observation, the questionnaire, and the scale conducted by theresearcher formed the main instruments to collect information. The researcher used the style of comprehensive limitation so as to reach the objectives of the study.For the purpose of achieving the study purpose and test the hypotheses, the study was applied to the population of employees working in the public relations departments, totaling (495) respondents in the Iraqi ministries numbered (26).The study concluded the following results : 1. There was a significant correlation between the study variables represented by public relations, the elements of social capital. 2. There was a significant effect relationship between the study variables represented by public relations, social capital.3. There were no significant differences between the public relations and the respondents' demographic variables, which explained the lack of impact of the demographic variables (gender, age groups, educational achievement, specialty, years of service, job position, work type) on public relations, social capital. The study recommends the need to invest the social capital in the Iraqi ministries, because it contributes to increasing the productivity of the individual in the institution and the society, reinforces the values (trust, cooperation, fellowship, human capital), and strengthens the social ties among employees, which is reflected in promoting job performance.

Abstract: This study aims at identifying the role performed by the Directorate General of Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior in the field of security awareness of terrorism hazards. The study was directed to all employees in the Directorate on the basis of the institution who does the most important role in security education , i.e. the security institutions, at the head of which is the Ministry of Interior/the General Directorate of Relations and Media as being responsible of all the topics related to the achievement of security to the masses using the science of Public Relations. The study also aims at identifying the functions, styles, sources and means of communication used by the Directorate for security awareness of terrorism hazards.To achieve the study objectives, the researcher employed the survey method relying on the descriptive study. As to the study instrument, the researcher used (the questionnaire form), in that he designed the questionnaire basing on the study theoretical framework. The questionnaire consisted of four axes (the axis of personal data, the axis of the objectives of public relations at the security institutions, the axis of the functions of public relations in security awareness of terrorism hazards, and the axis of security awareness of terrorism hazards in public relations).The most important results the researcher arrived at that more respondents are working on the development of the style and method of bombings and hit cities with bombs and sectarian violence in the forefront of terrorism methods that are security risk education, also reached a researcher by the chi square test statistical measurement relationship correlation to academic achievement, and scientific specialization, and years of work, their correlation with all the functions of public relations in the security awareness of the dangers of terrorism, meaning that they have a bearing on the exercise all the functions of public relations in the security awareness of the dangers of terrorism, as proved t - test to measure the correlation between the existence of a relationship kind of communicative content and the extent of their use. And also proved t - test to measure the correlation relationship between the presence of terrorism tactics and how to use them. : the scientific research and planning permanently. It also concluded that most respondents work at developing the communication implication related to the security awareness of terrorism hazards, in which the public relations at the security institution to gain the audiences and masses to its side through explaining the danger of terrorist on the Iraqi society at the head of communication implications.Also developed a researcher set of recommendations for the study, including : recruitment of the owners of specialty public relations at theGeneral Directorate of relations and the media, the fact that they have the experience in public relations, as well as the employment of advanced degrees (master's and doctorate) in public relations, the fact that they have a rich stock of information on science ties public, as well as the need to find the understanding and analysis of scientific deep and coherent and comprehensive to the subject of terrorism, so that the staff drafting the content of communication play a major role in the security awareness of the dangers of terrorism.

The negotiation process needs a certain skills and experiences, and those skills are a basic element and by them one of the parties easily can achieve his goals.Obviously, all the characteristics of the successful negotiator are available in the public relations employees, However the Iraqi negotiator team have no specialized individuals in (P.R) Public relations who have an important role in the negotiation process which we can't forget. The study results founds also that the Iraqi negotiator team uses more than one strategy to achieve his goals, and adopt the common interests approach which preferred the co - operation between the American and the Iraqi side than the conflict in order to success the negotiation process. Also the study found that the Iraqi negotiator team has the Permissions and the authority to make decisions during the negotiation process which make it easier to reach the agreement in a very short period (the Iraqi - American strategic framework agreement).As a result to the field study came up with that the researcher recommended several recommendation such as : the necessary to make more researches about the negotiation due to the obvious shortage in the studies of the negotiation skills and strategies, especially in the Arabic management, and the necessary of involve the Iraqi negotiation team in specialized training courses of the negotiation field in order to give them the required skills and experiences , and finally optioning a specialized with Public relations to the Iraqi negotiation team to make a successful qualified negotiation which will achieve all the goals of the negotiation process.

The study seeks, through the quest, to investigate the size of the news coverage of political issues in radio stations (the study sample), and to identify forms, methods, types of news coverage (editorial and technical), in broadcasts (study sample), and the comparison between the study samples, in terms of news coverage of the political issues.It is one of the descriptive studies where The content analysis form used as a tool to analyze the content of the bulletins of local radio stations, an objective analysis and quantitative systematic, thus contributing to achieving the objectives of the research, also the study relied on the personal interview tool to gather information and data required by the study, also based on a comparison methodology to note the similarities and differences or the extent of variation and consistency in news coverage, Statistically it means : 1 - Test ( Ca 2) Chi - square test : a statistical function , to study the relationship between two variables , using the program ( ( spss.2 - test (Z) : It is a moral difference between the two proportions Celsius for the study , using a program (main - tab).3 - congruence coefficient : It is to study the relationship between the intensity of more than Mnglleren.The acceptance of the results of statistical tests at the abstract level (95%) , that is, when the degree of confidence ( 0.05).And if the relationship is strong increased from ( 0.70 ) , and be medium if between ( 0.30 - 0.70 ) , and is weak if the parameter value is less than ( 0.30 ) , while there is an exact match if laboratories ( one is true ). The message contains (27) schedule, and (21) form. The importance of this research academically, is that it provides a clear vision for the news coverage of political issues in radio stations (study sample). As a comparative study, it can prepare to help other researchers to study it, in terms of the public, or other studies. It can be considered as the first of its kind at the research level that was conducted in the context of news coverage, particularly with regard to political issues in radio stations (study sample), and inevitably fill the shortage in the Media Library, especially in the field of studies and research on the relationship between the media and political issues. Political issues are renewable so this makes them worthy of study, research, investigation and analysis from the viewpoint of media. After 2003, media became more interested in political issues, as well as the media do with political issues is still in its early stages. It needed to in - depth studies and research, analytical and field studies, identifies glitches in reporting the news. The two study samples, give a vision to those who work by diagnosing strengths and weaknesses to contribute to the enhancement of work radio direction approaching Advanced news broadcast standard form and content, providing a clear dimension for the contribution of radio in news coverage of political issues, and then it should pay the wide interest, as diagnosed clear and precise standards for news coverage in radio stations (study sample). The researcher chose two local radio stations that are different in terms of ownership : the Republic of Iraq (State Radio), owned by the government, and public opinion (private radio). The study shed light on the news coverage of the Iraqi political issues, to assist in the statement of the reality of dealing with these issues.

Abstract: الرياضة هي منتج حضاري لها اثر كبير في حركة الجماعات والافراد ولها الدور في ابراز دور الاوطان واثرها في نشر ثقافة المحبة والصداقة والسلام، ولم تبحث الرياضة القرن الماضي عن الربح المادي، بل انها كانت تمارس كهواية وحب في تحقيق الانجازات للبلد من خلال رفع ا | The Sports is a cultural product which has a great impact on the movement of groups and individuals and has a role in highlighting the role of homelands and their effect on spreading the culture of love, friendship and peace. The last century sports did not search for the material profit, but it was practiced as a hobby and a love to fulfill the achievements for the country through raising the flag. The countries especially the socialist ones specify great amounts of money for the sports and the youth to enlist them according to a certain ideology so as to prevent them from deviation towards negative life; therefore, the ex - Soviet Union and Democratic Germany were controlling the Olympic games and tried to excel the western and capitalist countries then, and the sports institutions in both countries were strongholds of the world sports champions. Yet, the changes occurred to the world in 1980s led to the collapse of Soviet Union and the unification of Germany with its two parts after the demolition of the Berlin Wall at the beginning of 1990s led to a change in the sports concepts and its move from a hobby to a professionalism, as well as the sports conversion from money and resources consumer to a vital product and domain to develop the States' economies which know how to employ then in the right place. As to Iraq's sports, it is still lost between a hobby and professionalism and till now did not know which ways should take to reach the goal it wishes to reach. This study aimed at identifying the attitudes of sports academics and journalists towards the sports institutions in Iraq. Also, the study aimed at having information about the sports issues and the association extent of the audience specifically the sports academics and journalists with the performance of sports institutions. The study showed that the Iraqi sports institutions took and passed many steps and attempts at the level of developing the sports work, yet these steps did not find their way into execution till after 2003, specifically in 2011 when the Act of Ministry of Youth and Sports was passed, thus it still needs many acts and the government support. The study also explained that the Iraqi sports faced and still facing many problems including the football sports ban and the Iraqi athletes being far away from achieving sports achievement. The first of these problems was the result of the nature of the existing relationship which witnesses an intersection between the departments of sports institutions in some sports situations and issues. Despite the current direction of the central government aiming at taking interest in sports, supporting the sports institutions, awarding the holders of good results, not interfering in the football affair, embarking the construction of a number of stadiums and sports halls in the form that meet the athletes and the audiences' needs, yet many procedures of sports institutions are still weak and did not find their way to success in reality yet. Every progress or success at the level of applying the duties and decisions of sports institutions undoubtedly means a greater effectiveness and effect of planning and then leads to the development of the sports reality in different games. Thus, it is necessary to advance in the treatment of the negative impacts created by the previous governments and their leadership of the sports work and to provide the greatest amount of the basic requirements and facilitations to athletes by increasing the financial support, passing laws needed by the Iraqi sports, supervision and following - up, developing the sports work, taking care of the famous athletes so as to reach the sports achievements in different games, taking care of old athletes, giving the greatest role to the sports academics, increasing the interest in the disabled sports, embracing the athletes of various ages, finding the solutions to develop feminine sports, taking care of the disabled athletes, increasing the cooperation size with sports journalists, enlarging the audience awareness in various sports affairs. In order to arrive at the study aims, the researcher had constructed a scale form consisting of three axes and after extracting the validity and reliability, it was applied to a sample of (415) academics and journalists selected by the intentional sample which was one of the non - probable samples types and distributed on four places (both Colleges of Physical Education, College of Physical Education for Women/University of Baghdad, College of Physical Education for Women/Al - Mustansiriyah University, and the Iraqi Federation of Sports Journalism). The researcher used the descriptive method by designing the scale form consisting of two parts : the first part : the demographic information of respondents, and the second part : the form questions numbered (50) questions selected by the respondent from the scale five choices laid by the researcher. After gathering and treating the data statistically and using the split law of Pearson correlation coefficient, the researcher arrived at the following results : 1 - There were no significant differences in the study demographic variables (genre, age, academic achievement, occupation, the number of service years) in the attitudes of sports academics and journalists, which indicated that their opinions were even on the study three axes. 2 - The study showed that (92.5%) of respondents affirmed that the sports institutions should basically rely on the government support, which signified the need of those clubs of its aid in finding investment opportunities. 3 - The majority (97.5%) of respondents affirmed the scarcity of the declarations of sports institutions' leaders, because those declarations were precise and resulted from a search and study because the sports media and the sports audience would not be silent on the contradictions and the imprecision in the declarations; therefore, they were scarce. 4 - The study showed that (91.2%) of the sample believed in the contribution of media in forming the positive attitudes about the sports institutions, which assured the care of media and media institutions in conveying and communicating all the positive activities of sports institutions which served the Iraqi sports to the audience. 5 - The study showed that (65%) of the research sample confirmed that the sports institutions did not provide the care to the pioneers of sports reporters and journalists, which indicated the need of sports institutions to prepare a law draft concerned with the sports reporters and journalists as same as the sports pioneers and champions, or legislate a new amendment of the sports champions and pioneers' law. The research was finished with conclusions and recommendations as well as references used by the researcher, appendices and an English abstract of the research.

Abstract: يرمي البحث الى توصيف صورة المراة، والكشف عن كيفية تقديمها في المسلسلات، واعتمدت الباحثة المنهج المسحي ــــ طريقة تحليل المضمون لدراسة عينة البحث المتمثلة بالمسلسلات التي انتجتها شبكة الاعلام العراقي وعرضت عام 2014، واستعمال نموذج مارغريت جلاجر لتحليل محت | The study aims to deliver the woman's image and to unveil on how to be introduced in the TV series. The researcher is based on the survey method - the method of analyzing the content to study the Research sample represented in the TV series produced by the IMN, which were displayed in 2014 and used the pattern of Margaret Gallagher to analyze the content of the series in accordance with the frame analysis theory.The Study has four chapters. as the first chapter tackles the methodological framework of the study. while the second chapter, headlining with "Framing and Media". This chapter includes two sections : the first is frame analysis theory and the second one includes the media and society.The third chapter entitled "Women Stereotyping in TV Drama ". This chapter contains two sections : The first one is : TV drama and the second one is the woman in TV drama. At last , the fourth chapter deals with the analytical study, which includes two sections : the first one is the results of quantum findings and the second one is : interpretation of the findings in term of frame analysis theory. The study found several results including : 1. Declination of the woman's representation compared with the man in Iraqi TV drama.2. The series introduced the woman according to the (personal, social, political, economic) frames in a standardizing method. It focused on the characteristics always attributed to it as showing her obedient of the social role and restrained with the customs and traditions and relied on the man and her goals are related with the man except few roles, which broke such routines. 3. The series treated the woman's non - detailedissue without going through the details in addition to considering the woman in general except one series associated with an issue on the woman.In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the following : 1. To focus on using the drama in changing the prevailing concepts and traditional and wrong thoughts on the woman and her role in the society.2. To establish a department belonging to the drama directorate depicting the woman and the way of introducing her and conduct studies to know the impact of that depict on the society. 3. To urge the drama on not to form the sex discrimination as it has negative reflection on different educational, health and psychological aspects of female's life and in order to cultivate the generations equally between both sexes. 4. To be out of the standardizing restraints and to show a new image existing in real life and to show how to be positively reflected on the society. In the shed of the greatening massmediat effect in the life of the individual, in which T.V. become one of the most important means of acquiring the value beside the traditional sources like family, school, and mosques, where the individual find this matter by the repeated exposure for pictures & concentrated messages and familiar for the audience in the commercials, so we can feel the importance of the commercials as social & cultural motive. From the results of the thesis, it became clear that the commercials work as an enhancing factor that support the connection between the value of the product, and the personal values of the audience, where they form inner relation between the commercials and the values used by the advertiser, where this value is considered advertising strings which the commercial based on to pursued the audience, as well these values reflect the personal values and values pattern the prevailed values in society, the study was divided into five chapters and as follow : chapter one : the curriculum frame of the study, chapter two : the prevailed values in the commercials and their reflection on the social system, chapter three : T.V. commercials between the achieved possibilities and the economical social effects, chapter four : the purchasing behaviour of the consumer and the factors effecting it, and chapter five : the field study "the applying frame of the study". The results of the field study proved through the questionnaire list by identifying the peeks came in the commercial and which have an effect on the behaviour of the Iraqi consumer by the way of some sentences in the questionnaire and responded the sample's individuals in addition to that the field study proved that there is a positive trend between the traditional values used in the commercials like respecting the old, group spirit, the religious values, distinguishing & uniqueness, rest & health, where most of the sample individual agreed on and that the study proved that there are some negative values that appeared in the commercials and admit that their effect is big on the public purchasing behaviour toward certain products like sex values, individual values, consuming values, motivating to take great interest in the outlook, and imitating others. As well, the repeating the commercials on T.V. channels generate sustain existence of that product in the memory of the consumer, and the most attracting method of commercials on T.V. for the products is by acting.

In spite of the importance of the topic, it did not get the big share in the media studies, especially that the ministries tackled here are service ministries that are related directly to the masses. The study aims at the mechanism of crises management in the sector starting from the diagnosis of the most important reasons of crises and ending with the criteria for evaluation of preformation. In addition to that, the study aims at knowing the role of public relations in the crises management and an attempt to come up with recommendations that could contribute to the enhancement of the worker performance in crises management. This research is classified within the descriptive studies as the researcher used the survey approach. The researcher made a survey of the news content in daily news bulletin of the ministries of energy sector by using the method of comprehensive restriction of the news issued by those three ministries within the period from (31/1/2010 to 31/12/2013). In addition to the survey of the internal masses specialized in represented in the team of the crises management in the three ministries sectors to reach to the data and information that are hardly to get in the other means. The researcher prepared a questionnaire form that includes a number of pivots that are distributed to the team of crises management of (77) respondents in the ministries.The nature of the study required the division into five chapters : Chapter One the theoretical framework of the study tackles (the problem, importance, objectives and scopes of the study as well as the approaches and tool also the previous studies that are related to the study. Chapter Two includes the concept of crises and the theoretical management in three inquiries : the first deals with the concept of crises and the related concepts; the second includes the means of diagnosing crisis in terms of characteristics, reasons and the curricula used, and the third inquiry is to clarify the crises management in terms of concept and the different between crises management and the measurement of crises management.Chapter Three is entitled public relations and the crises management in the three inquiries : the first inquiry tackles the public relations and the relation of the crises management and the activity practice, the second is about the employment of public relations for the tools of soft power in the crises international management, and the third inquiry studies to show how to crises management media. Chapter Four tackles the analytical aspect of the study. The Arab region was the most targeted with this policy. in an attempt to win the Arab public opinion in general and in particular the Iraq public opinion. To Form its image, The United States worked on creating television channels and radio stations in Arabic language oriented to the Arab audience in general and in particular to the Iraqis including : Alhurra - Iraq Satellite Channel, Radio Sawa and Free Iraq Radio.For this reason, our current thesis came to detect the image formed by the Iraqi public about the US media, and through which we will discover the image that the United States seeks to be formed.The Thesis used “survey method Media”, By scanning the media audience, and used for that “newspaper questionnaire tool” which applied on Baghdad audience. The Thesis also hired other research tools which are : - Scientific observation, which is a codified form to gain information about a certain phenomenon - Personal Interviews, which is an interview to collect data from people in charge of communication by interviewing them face to face to clarify some of the ambiguities.The main results of the thesis are as follows : - The thesis revealed the success of the US media - oriented "under study" in forming a positive image about the United States among the Iraqi public, the positive image came up in a big percentage among the audience. - The thesis revealed that the United States sought to improve its image in the Arab region in general and Iraq in particular, after marred by a lot of distortion as a result of the disastrous mistakes made by the US administration during the occupation of Iraq. - The thesis revealed that US media - oriented Is one of the important sources of political, cultural and social information to the Iraqi public; being widely watched by them - US media - oriented received high rates of preference among the Iraqi public, Alhurra Iraq Channel came first, Radio Sawa came second and finally Free Iraq Radio. - US media - oriented hired all technical tools to effect the targeted audience (Iraqi audience)and the thesis revealed that young people were the most targeted to influence them and form their opinions about controversial issues around the world.
