المستخلص: Thesis study deals with the mental image of the Iraqi public for the offices of the general inspectors.The researcher , an being a member staff of the general inspector office , ministry of interior , riot iced that these offices cannot achieve their mission and perform their assigned tasks efficiently in the lack of cooperation and support on part of the public. As such , the researcher found out that this topic is worth studying.This study aims at exploring the nature and aspects of the mental image of the Iraqi public for the offices of the general inspectors in Higher Education and Scientific Research , Health , and Interior Ministries.The researcher applied the survey research method to conduct this study as the most suitable me theologies for such a research.As concerns the findings , the most important ones include : - Discovery of the most important changes. - Influencing the mental image of the Iraqi public for the offices of the general inspectors. - Knowing the relationship between the mental image and personation. - The findings show that the public has got a positive mental image for the general inspector office in the ministry of higher Education and scientific Research , while the mental image for the same office in the ministry of health was negative one.The most important recommendations include : - Making the office of the general inspector an independent office to avoid the influence on the inspection process. - Activating the role of the media units in the inspectors offices to inform the public of the administrative and financial corruption
