All fields of life have been developing and this progress has affected the view of life on the part of the human being in general and the artist in particular. As a result of this machine revolution and the rapid industrial progress, the artists could not help making their art cope with the new era. In response to the twentieth century technology, certain changes took pace in the new world of art especially in the artist's performance. On the whole, art turned to be a world of experimentation including both the raw material and technicality through matching to the extent that new concepts came into being : the artist departed the restrictions of specialization and moved into the free multiple and comprehensive plastic art. Since the early 1950's, the Iraqi artists have been creatively. aware of the world - wide tendency of experimentation. This study is an attempt to shed some light on the technical matching in contemporary Iraqi sculpture. It is concerned with the expressive and aesthetic values that stem from the technical matching. It also attempts at showing the stylistic features of contemporary Iraqi sculpture works under investigation. This thesis falls into five chapters as follows : Chapter One is entitled as 'preliminaries'. It divides into the following sections. 1.1 The Problem of the study. 1.2 Significance of the study 1.3 Aims of the study 1.4 imits of the study and 1.5 Definition of terms. Chapter Two is on the theoretical background and review of literature. It falls into three sections : 2.1 The artistic application of technical matching 2.2 Styles of technical matching in contemporary sculpture and. 2.3 Aesthetic philosophy (approach) of technical matching. Chapter Three is on the procedures. It can be outlined as follows : 3.1 The population of the study ( 250 sculpture works by 36 artists along the years 1980 - 2008) 3.2 The sample.3.3 The method ( a descriptive approach to content analysis) and. 3.4 Tools of data collection (observation, interview, and survey). Chapter Four includes the analysis of the samples and display of results. The following are of the results : 1. Matching has been proved through of the application of more than one technique in each piece of work. 2. Matching has enabled the artist to go beyond the limit of the material. 3. Matching has paved the way for the artist to make all possible use of the sense and structure plastic and expressive potentials to achieve a variety of relative values such as the plastic, expressive, and aesthetic ones. 4. Matching has taken place among a number of resources : a. Works of contemporary world. b. Works of (the heritage of) Mesopotamia. c. Popular culture and d. Realities of contemporary Iraq. Chapter Five is concerned with the Conclusions, Recommendations and Suggestions. The following are five conclusions. a. A large number of contemporary Iraqi artists have applied technical matching to their sculpture masterpieces. b. Sculpture has developed a lot through using newly factory products and rubbish. c. Sculpture has turned to be given new dimensions and concepts by contemporary Iraqi artists within the realm of postmodern plastic arts. d. Abstract: The theme of the study "Transformations of the English Sculpture Form in the Post - War" is conducted through tackling the most important variables and changes in the sculpture form during the last fifty years of the twentieth century and the renewal of ideas and concepts for the new generation of British sculptors. That was reflected in their works. The esis includes four chapters : Chapter One includes the problem of study which can be summed up in the following question : what is the secret of the great transformation which effected the English Sculpture Form in the Post - War?. In addition to the importance and the need for the study. The research is limited to the study of the work of the English Sculpture in all form and the various raw and techniques during the period extending from 1950 to 2000. It also includes the specification of the main terms used.Chapter Two includes the main inquiries; first inquiry is a historical brief to the English Sculpture from sixteenth to the nineteenth century. It tackles the roots of the English Sculpture through the period with the influences and tendencies. The second inquiry was subdivided into two axis the first is about the Modern English Sculpture in the 20th century until the World War II, while the second is about the methods and techniques and forms that have prevailed for almost fifty years from 1900 up to 1950. The second inquiry is based on the contemporary English Sculpture from the WWII until the end of the century. It includes a study of the most important postwar sculptors. The third inquiry includes the effective influences in the transformation of the contemporary English Sculpture form. It is subsided into four axes : the first is about the liberation of the artists and art from the domination of the authority which focuses on the artists' freedom of expressionaway from the domination of authority of the society like the royal and church. The second focuses on the effect of WWII on the conception and ideas for the sculptors, while the third is concerned with the influences of the modern contemporary European and American sculpture on the form of English sculpture. The inquiry concentrates on the most important European and American sculptors investors of the new artistic schools on the British sculpture. The last inquiry has concentrated on the effect of economy and technological progress and the consumption culture in the British society on the form of English sculpture.The third chapter includes the procedure of study which is the research community and sample and what are the reasons for choosing the sample that attained 21 sculpture models as well as the justification for selecting the research community in addition to the procedure of the study which is the descriptive analytical followed in the analysis of the works. Chapter four includes a the results and the conclusions of the study the most important are : 1 - the British sculpture of the postwar period did not abide to a certain criteria, a style or trend or artistic school, but it varied in form from one sculptor to another as the sample show.2 - Most of the works of sculptors were from modern raw materials which appeared in the postwar period. The War was a reason for the appearance for such raw materials and shaped them and then refined them in sculpture, taking them as a source of expression.3 - The cases which interacted with the artist's self and manifested in their sculpture works for the new generation of British sculpture of the postwar period creating atmosphere of (conception, absurdism, spontaneity, freedom, probability, questioning, fear and anxiety and horror of a Third World War). It observes the technical transferring happens from sculptor to another as it also follows the technical transferring in the sculpturing techniques of the sculptor himself, like different types of raw materials and the verity of methods in technique and its elements to show off the alternative pressures of the sculpture piece of work and fix its influence on each other. In the first chapter, research plot is revealed which is represented in the definition of the technical transferring used in showing off the Iraqi sculpture works and the role of the technical pressures on the final shape of the project according to the used materials as they act as an inter - medium to show its physical characteristics in the aesthetic form. Also the first chapter included the importance of the research and the definition of the research through discussing how far is the influence of the transferring techniques on the sculpture art. This research is one of the primary researches about the Iraqi sculpture between the period 1940 - 2007 and exposes the contemporary Iraqi sculpture generation and their changeable and verity of techniques to accomplish their sculpture works. In the second chapter - first section, the researcher discussed the definition of the transferring in the general definition and how it is defined in different philosophical schools such as : perfection, existence, physics, Pragmatics; also its definition in the contemporary critics programs like structure and expression. Additionally, it talked about changes of techniques of the sculpture piece of work that the researcher called "Transferring in the Contemporary Plastic Art" starting from the Romantic and impressionist school to he most recent Art Schools and how this technical transferring happen to reach the final shape of the painting and sculpture piece of work accompanied with artistic examples. In the second section, the researcher discusses the definition of the technique and how the philosophies and thinkers express their ideas about the subject. Moreover, in the very section ,the researcher mentions the definition of the showing off in the Contemporary Plastic Art and the relation between the shape and material ,and the consistency of this relation of alternative technical pressures in choosing each other also accompanied with opinions of some philosophies about shape and material and their importance to the showing off techniques, and how they form the important basics in the continuous transferring in these techniques along with some examples of painting and sculpture which emphasize this definition. In the third section, the researcher talked about the distinguished technical transferring that occurred in the contemporary sculpture and how they happened and their techniques in showing off the sculpture piece of work. Also the researcher discussed the noticeable sculpture accomplishments which considered as important transformational points in the contemporary technical sculptures and whatever of materials used like raw materials and techniques and this mentioned also in the signs of the methodical section in the end of this chapter, where the researcher talked about the importance of the verity of the raw materials to make the technical transferring on the sculpture work and so on. Moreover, in the second chapter, the researcher goes through the previous studies concerning this subject and he reveals the distinguished points in these studies and the results and conclusions they have reached. In the third chapter, the researcher fixed the measures of the research which are : the title of the research population, fixing the samples, the research tools and the limitation of the research tools then he moved to the applications of eleven Iraqi sculptor works from different generations. Such verity of techniques had an obvious crucial influence on showing off many different sculpture accomplishments that formed a technique transferring could be fixed and studied in those sculptures works and considering them as important cause in choosing the number of examples of each sculpture then leading to the aimed results and conclusions and recommendations in the forth chapter, and they are : 1. The technical transferrings of the showing off in the contemporary Iraqi Sculpture came through reshaping of the formation and foundation systems of sculpture accomplished.2. The technical transferrings of the showing off in the contemporary Iraqi Sculpture achieved through the simplification and abbreviation processes in the piece of sculpture accomplished.3. - A comprehensive sample for specified period of time and represented the original community, original representation. - So 4 models were selected from the first half of the 4th millennium BC and 6 models of the third millennium BC and 9 models of the second millennium BC and 3 models of a first millennium BC because the faiths in ancient Iraq are an extension of each other and the objectives of this study do not endeavor to know the religious method or sculptural method but endeavoring to execute its objectives in identifying religious authority in Iraq's ancient sculpture and the impact of sculpture on the faith.So researcher don’t confined in selecting his sample with parity with the number of representing models for each period but sought to choose models that lead to achievement of research objectives.The researcher adopted a note based on extrapolation and inference as two approaches can be used in the analysis of selected models, benefited of intellectual and religious indicators within the context of theoretical framework.The research found a set of findings and conclusions contained in chapter IV and one of the most important results are ; The research identifies ways that show the diverse sculptural works using the techniques of computer programs (3DsMax, Maya, Photoshop, Z Brush, Cinema 4D) and with modern versions only because of their potential novel lacks its older versions. Abstract: The study deals with one of the modern techniques used in the formation of the metal casting, which include using of local materials in the preparation of typical mixtures without needing for imported ready - made mixtures, which are monopoly of technical secrets to those companies. The first chapter discusses the research problem, which were represented in (to reach a mechanism for the use of ceramic shell technology with standard specifications helps for not to loosing a lot of sculptural details and delicate task during the casting process through the traditional techniques). The importance and objectives of the research are : (1. Obtaining of precise details for works of art that perform the ceramic shell technology, 2. Reach for a scientific data base for technical functioning of these mechanisms and capabilities of local materials) as well as the limits of the search. The second chapter (theoretical framework) includes the first section : a brief history for the using of metals, the second section deals with the metals used in the research (as brunze and aluminum) as well as their types and properties the third section deals with the History of the mechanisms of metal casting in ancient civilizations, which are Mesopotamia, the Nile Valley, the Levant, the Greeks, the Romans, the Islamic civilization and then the Renaissance, after this, asection deals with the metal casting techniques, which divided into two types according to the type of templates : permanent, which include centrifugal plumbing and plumbing by electrical clicking and sedimentation. while non - permanent include the plumbing by sand and lost wax which includes two methods, the first one is the normal thermal template (traditional) and the second method of ceramic shell which is the subject of our research. It was taking four previous studies,two of them were Iraqi and two foreign studies. At the end of this chapter we reach to a theoretical framework indicators. The third chapter deals with the research measures which included the identification of research methodology, the research community, samples. And then the selection of local materials that will be included in research trials which are zircon and silica silicate (sand Erdma), Kaolan (Duekhlh), Filnt Klay, sodium silicate water and Sodium carbonate andresin (c.m.c).After preparation, crushing and screening of the materials according to the granular gradients and chemical analysis to determine their characteristics and components then calcination. Dry materials were calcinied at (600°) to lose its chemical water. After preparation of series of preliminary mixtures in some of them depending on local materials as alternatives to foreign ready mixes and through access to sources, references and the Internet, as well as local experiences. Eight mixtures were succeeded through the stuccoing process of the waxy model ,during the process of drying and burning there is problems such as crucking in the surface of ceramic shell as a result of internal tension and external pressure, as well as the reduction in the hardness of ceramic schell after burning due to the weakness in the linking between the components of materials during high temperature causing their destruction after burning, so that it is necessary to raising calcination temperature to 1000 ? to ensure the disposal of the transformations that will get during the burning process. In addition to the getting rid of plasticity to ensure that no shrinking in the ceramic shell after burning. All failed mixtures were excluded,while the other four mixtures were remained which were : Mixture of silicate zircon, silica (crushed Erdma sand), clay Filnt,caolin with silica (Ardma sand), because of the high coast silicate zircon and not providing in large quantities, as well as to the difficulty of obtaining of Filnt clay despite its presence in abundance in Iraq, it has not been extracted and provided in abundance as a consumer material, as there have been some problems in the use alone, so the researcher find two mixtures from (zircon silicate with silica) and ( Calcinied caolin with calcinied silica).The four mixtures considered the sample of research which include (zircon silicate), (silica), (zircon silicate and silica) and (silica and caolin).Which has been conducting laboratory tests on them. The fourth chapter contained the results of the chemical analysis and the results of physical and mechanical tests and their discussion. Also included the conclusions which reached by the researcher. The results showed the success of the four mixtures in the casting of bronze and aluminum models with maintaining the accuracy of the details and achieve the goals of the research. The mixture (A) preferably used in the casting of mineral sculpture with temperature top of the (1200 ?) due to the cost of silicate zirconium, while the mixture (C) is the better becauseof its potential in metal casting and low coast ratio compared with mixture (A). The mixtures (B, D) preferably used in the casting sculpture as alolminium and lower heat metals. The chapter four includes results of the research and they are very expressive about the goals of the research : 1. Existentialist intertextuakity centered the modernized sculpture represented into the human body in respect to its individuality generally and its deteriorated existentialism specifically. 2. The creative results of existentialist have been described as to be liberated from( what is holy and subject to law); the creative existentialist text is considered a liberated text depending on the always - rejection method and being liberated from all shackles.3. The researchers studied one of such this types ( Duet Shape formation) in the contemporary Iraqi Sculpture detecting the building relation within the constructive subject as its importance is merged by attributing it with technical and ideological implications embodied by the ancient man in his artistic work making a substantiation for his persuasion and ceremonies through many raw materials and situations they lived with. Modern sculpture attempts to memorize his ideas , ego and vision through sculpture formations including that of duet forms as outlined as well as that some of which represented dramatically the activity of the scene filled with movement, embodied by divergent modes and ideas having traits and semantics of formative relations reflecting the concepts and ideas of the sculptor towards his environment while it is varied in its formative treatment in spite of the presence of common relations among its elements and then realizing new forms for these relations by which duet shape is formed. It is necessitated to identify this relation analyzing it scientifically within study empiric focusing on the constructive relations realized from shape distribution for the elements, thus the researcher studied and analyzed these elements through its relations of developed formative within the reaction of formative elements. The researchers divided his study into four chapters. The first chapter ( mainframe of the research) concerned with explanation the problem of the research , its importance and the need for which , aiming to outline by analytical study the duet formation of the shape in the contemporary Iraqi sculpture and argued the limits of the research determining the ideological terms through which the researcher derivate a procedural in compliance with the seclusion of the matter and to realize the objective. Second chapter ( Theoretical Study) consisted of three section the first one argued the duet formation in the ancient sculpture ( Iraq, Egypt, Greece and Rome) while the second section argued the due formation of the sculpture shape in the reviviscence era while third one is dedicated to study duet formations of the shape for the international contemporary sculpture. Third chapter ( Methods and Materials) includes the mechanisms of research community , electing its pattern in addition to diagnose the methodology of the analysis , tools of the researches making analytical study for this pattern. Fourth chapter is dedicated for results , discussion, conclusions and recommendations. The most important results are : 1) The Iraqi Contemporary Sculptor insists on the ideological aspect of duet relations never insisted on the shape appearance so that most duet formations appeared with shapes needs for diagnostic traits due to the exorbitance in simplification and reduction.2) It is shown the difficulty of distinguishing between the shape of woman and the shape of man as a constructive relations for duet shape but in some formations through which the femininity traits are appeared for example the conglomerate of the chest by outgoing outshoot resulted from the conglomeration in abstraction and reduction in the formation structure. 3) Creating gaps inside bodies of the formations of the similar relations for both shapes within the formation embodied by the Iraqi contemporary sculptor by areas may take half of formation evidencing the effects of European art in general and Henri Moor ;the English Sculptor in particular. 4) Number of Iraqi Contemporary sculptors used to abstracted man body from arms in addition elongation of the shapes and its meager reduction the skull making it just outgoing merge free from formation traits of the man face so that these formations are referred to the works of Swiss sculptor Alberto Chiakomitti. 5) Stylistic divergence of the Iraqi contemporary sculptor through tracing international works considering the contemporary international empiric and to benefit from in using his elements within self Singularity of real; effects detecting the continuous and developed looking at new styles of formative relations enrichment the artistic movement and the rendezvous culture.6) Sign through its derivatives in the symbol and icon appeared intensively in all samples ( pattern of the research) especially iconic sign representing the real situation but symbolic signs appeared lesser than it relatively while the denotation sign is disappeared slightly. Which confirms that samples of the research are expressive and reductive artistic achievements approaching to the abstraction.7) As the art is deemed the supreme community value in conveying the behaviors of the community trustfully in addition to that the surrounding and the community are the source effecting on the artistic achieved work , thus, their ad hoc with the behavioral values of the community is the truth imagination for these behaviors and the achieved work and the circumstance are related deeply in embodying the folklore surrounding the artistic achieved work especially the sculpture.

The second research included the affects of non - classic raw at the formal system in the historical studies that included stylistic change during the twentieth century , and the third research included the study of the structural relations systems at the sculpture formation.The third chapter included the procedures of the research that its contents the research society such as European and American contemporary sculpture, and sample of research that was formed from (20) samples. It was choose according to the aim of this research. As well as performance of research based upon the analysis form, and this chapter included the following method at sample study as the analytic descriptive method in order to reach to the results, and conclusion that fixed in forth chapter, as below : 1 - The contemporary sculpture have became an achievement direct to the faraway imagination from the classic by using the non - classic item's. Sometime the sculpture structure to be same the building construction, or industrial tools, or scrap heaps.2 - Freedom that was granted by the raw to the sculptor to make him Carry out the sculpture's structure by improvisatory and Spontaneously that indentical with his disposition and his creation.3 - The using of the non - classic materials have produced big structures, specially works of art of ground, that fit with the environment, and it go out this work from gallery.4 - The using of the electronic devices as senser of movement, Transistors, an another in the sculpture ,has changed the classic Structure sculpture exactly, and created a new style of reactive relation between the artistic work with the watcher.
