Abstract: تعرض المجتمع العراقي الى العديد من الازمات والظروف السياسية، والاجتماعية والاقتصادية، من حروب، وسوء ادارة، وحصار اقتصادي، وصعوبة تدبير لقمة العيش، كذلك غياب الامن الاجتماعي، اثر كل ذلك بشكل سلبي على بنائه وتكوينه الفكري والاخلاقي.فعلى الجانب الفكري تجد ب | The Iraqi society has faced l lot political and social crises including wars, ill - administration, poor conduct, the economical siege its consequences, and above all, the absence of the social security. All these bad conditions have negatively affected the Iraqis’ morals and their ways of thinking. At the level of thinking, some figures suffer from bluntness in that one can notice them thinking in a traditional way. Thus, they become victims of rumors and superstitions. They have often been inclined to believe these kinds of biased circulations. These social rumors and superstitions may be communicated by a numbers od means such as the relatives and social media resulting in making these figures suffer from impressibility. At the moral level, capitalism, expediency and the materialistic tendencies in general have control over the humanistic and moral aspects of life, besides, the expansion of suggestibility and the deterioration of the religious and national impulses and motivations. These have resulted in weakening and destructing the moral ideology which embraces social, moral and practical values for the members of the society specially the officials who have been suffering from weakening or absence of the moral integrity. Accordingly, the aim of the study is to recognize suggestibility and integrity among the officials and to identify the individual differences in relation to tendencies to the number of years in service (lesser than five years or more between suggestibility and moral integrity. To attain the objectives of this study, an equal and random number of officials (4oo males and females) who have lesser than five years in service and more than five years.Two instruments are used in this study. The first one is manipulated to measure impressibility. The researcher has constructed a measurement for suggestibility and its psychological - metric characteristics have been attested such as the explicit honesty and the constructive one. The researcher has noticed a measurement stability via testing and retesting when the correlative factor reaches (0. 87), following cornbach’s Alpha, when the stability value reaches (0.81). appropriate statistical means are used to achieve the aims of this work and the procedures followed. The second instrument is used to measure the moral integrity when its psycho - metric feature are attested ( explicit and structural honest). The measurement stability is tested by the retesting procedure where the correlative factor reaches (0.89) following Cronbach’s Alpha where the stability value gets (0.82). The main results of this work can be summarized as in the following two points : 1) The specimen of this research enjoys a low level of suggestibility and this what enables subjects to criticize, analyze and have self - independence. They also show a considerable level of moral integrity, and of course, there are some individual diversifications from this level which is highly rejected by others officials in that they do represent the majority. 2) There is an inversely correlative relation between suggestibility and moral integrity. The researcher has recommended that the officials should be encourage to think critically and enjoying the moral integrity by holding seminars and symposiums aiming at praising and educating them. The researcher has also suggested some important things such as investigating the type of relation between the political and social levels that are liable to permissibility and moral integrity.

Furthermore , it also includes some other subsidiary objectives which are listed bellow : 1. The identification of the vocational selection of the secondary stage students 2. The identification of the denotation of differences of the vocational. selection in accordance with the specialization variable ( literary - scientific ). 3. The identification of the denotation of differences of the vocational. selection in accordance with the gender variable ( male - female ). 4. The identification of the personality styles of secondary stage students. 5. The identification of the denotation of differences of the personality styles of secondary stage students in accordance with the gender variable ( male - female ). 6. The identification of the relation between the - - - - - - - - - subsidiary personality styles and the prevailed vocational environments of secondary stage students.11. The identification of the relation between the associative relation and the statistical denotation between the vocational selection as a variable and personality styles and the vocational environments of the study respondents. The study was limited to secondary stage students ( 6th grade ) for both genders ( male - female ) in Basrah Governorate for the academic year 2014 - 2015.In the first chapter , the researcher introduces a theoretical and procedural definition of the research variables. In the second chapter , demonstrates a theoretical framework related to the research variables , the vocational selection , theories of vocational selection , the concept of personality styles , the theories dealt with personality styles , vocational environments , previous studies which are reasonably in connection with the subject matter of research along side with a discussion of such studies. Research procedures are specified as follows : Study respondents The community research is represented by the male and female students of the 6th grade - secondary schools in Basrah. Total number is 19202 students of the morning study for the academic year 2014 - 2015. The study respondents are 290 male and female students as - - - - - - sample selected simply and randomly with a percentage no less than 2% of the original community while the sample of the final application is 480 male and female students with a percentage no less than 3% of the original community.Research tools : the research is composed of three tools : The tool of the vocational selection , the researcher built the items of the vocational selection and they were composed of 76 items in their preliminary formulation , divided into six fields : self , social , family , economical , valorem and environmental and personal field and in order to recognize the apparent truth of the tool , the researcher presented the scale before a group of experts and specialized members in the field of psychological counseling in order to evaluate the items whether or not they are fit to measure what they are after along side with suggesting proper modifications in the formulation of items. Consequently , the items approved by 80 % of experts ' approval or more were accepted while the rest which scored les vote were omitted , that is , 29 items were omitted and they were divided into six fields. The Remaining 47 items scored more than 80 % of experts ' approval. In order to know the distinctive truth of the tool , the researcher applied it to a sample of 235 male and female students selected randomly. students ' marks were arranged through a descending order began with the highest mark to the lowest mark in the vocational selection. The tow radical groups were specified with the full mark scoring 27 % out of the sample 's respondents. They were 64 in each group. T. test was applied for two independent groups for the purpose of identifying the denotation of the difference between the two radical groups in terms of each single item of the scale on the basis of that the calculated T force represents the distinctive force of items. It is reported that 6 items were not distinct at the level of 0,05 because the T calculated values were less than the T tabular value which was equal to 1,96 with a liberty degree of 126. Accordingly , they were excluded out of the scale while the 41 remaining items were distinct at the level of 0.05. Furthermore , the researcher conducted a group of statistical procedures to determine the truth of the interior correlations. It was reported that all correlations treatments were distinct except item No. 30 didn’t score the required correlation mark which is 0,11 or higher. Ultimately ,the tool in its final manifestation was composed of 40 items divided into six fields. Personality styles The researcher conducted the scale of personality styles in accordance with Holland Codes of personality styles after being translated from English to Arabic and its compliance with Iraqi environment. Holland's codes is composed of 80 items which he distributes into the six sub items where the personality styles are evaluated as follows Realistic (13) items , investigative (12) items , social (16) items , conventional (13) , enterprising (12 ) items and artistic (14 ). In order to express the apparent truth of the tool , it was presented in its preliminary manifestation before the experts and specialists in the psychological Counseling Dep. in order to evaluate the validity of its items. In the light of arbitrators ' judgments , 23 were omitted divided into six styles. Thus , the items of the personality styles tool is composed of 57 items divided into 6 fields. In order to recognize the distinctive truth of the tool , it was applied to a random sample of 290 male and female students selected randomly and simply. The researcher arranged the individuals ' marks in a descending order starting from the total highest in the personality styles up to the lowest one. then , the two radical groups were specified of 27 % out of the sample respondents which they were 78 respondents in each group. The T. test was applied to two independent groups for the purpose of the denotation of the difference between the two groups v , between the marks of each items of the scale. It was reported that there 2 items were not distinct at the level of 0,05 because the T calculated values were less than from the T tabular value (1,96 ) with liberty degree of 154 which was resulted in excluding them out of the scale. while the remaining 55 items were distinct at a denotation level 0,05. Thus , the tool was composed of 55.Vocational environments After reviewing the literature of the vocational orientation , Holland ' s theory and its constituents and the related previous studies , the researcher listed 166 careers divided into 6 vocational environments meeting opposite the aforementioned personality styles. Consequently , Holland ' s code of vocational environments is composed of realistic environment 38 careers , investigative environment (30 ) careers , social environment (23 ) , conventional environment (15 ) careers and the artistic environment (34 ) careers. To investigate the apparent truth of the tool , the researcher presented the scale of the vocational environments before 20 experts , specialized in the field of psychological counseling in order to evaluate the items whether or not they are fit to measure what they are after. Consequently , experts ' remarks led to some modifications in the scale items. They also approved the integration of both tools together as well as determining the environment which is opposite and peculiar for each style of personality. furthermore , they agreed to select 20 - 15 careers out of those which are widely common and acceptable in Iraq that 52 items were omitted and with applying such procedure , the tool was composed of 114 careers divided into 6 sub scales. The researcher inspected the distinctive force of tools by the use of the two radical groups at the ultimate mark through the application of the scale items over the same statistical sample of the scale of personality styles which are 290 male and female students selected randomly. The researcher arranged the individual's marks in a descending order began with the total highest mark to the lowest mark in the vocational environments. Then , the tow radical groups were specified with the full mark scoring 27 % out of the sample 's respondents. They were 78 in each group. T. test was applied for two independent groups for the purpose of identifying the denotation of the difference between the two radical groups in terms of each single item of the scale. It is reported that 14 items were not distinct at the level of 0,05 because the T calculated values were less than the T tabular values (1,96 ) with liberity degree of 154 which resulted in to be excluded out of the scale while the 100 remaining items were distinct at the level of 0,05. Thus , the tool of the vocational environments was composed of 100 items divided into six environments. tools stability In order to figure out the stability of the vocational selection scale of secondary school students , the researcher used the Retest Method and after applying the scale once again on the same sample which was 50 male and female students , Pearson ' s correlation coefficients were stated between the two applications which was 0,79. In terms of personality styles scale , the researcher figured out a stability for each style of the 6 personality styles. After reapplying the scale once again on the same sample , Pearson ' s correlation coefficients were stated between the two applications for each of the 6 sub scales to know the nature of the relation of the marks of both application , the first and the second. it appeared that correlation coefficients ranged from 0,84 - 0,75. In terms of scale of vocational environments , it was reported that the correlation coefficients ranged between from 0,98 - 0,71.The application of tools The researcher applied his tools on a sample of 480 male and female students who were selected randomly with percentage no less than 3 % of the original community. The time assigned for answering the questions was (30 - 40) minutes with average of 35 minutes. The final application required the period from 14/3/2015 up to 30/3/2015.In the fourth stage , the researcher introduced a demonstration for the results whom he culminated by the present research alongside with discussing such results in accordance with consequence of its objectives. Conclusions were as follows : 1. The presence of a statistical denotation in the vocational selection of secondary school students in general. 2. The presence of a statistical denotation in the vocational selection of secondary school students in accordance with specialization ( scientific - literary ). 3. The presence of a statistical denotation in the vocational selection of secondary school students in accordance with gender variable (male - female).4. The presence of a statistical denotation in the personality styles of secondary school students in general. 5. The presence of a statistical denotation in the personality styles of secondary school students in accordance with gender variable ( male and female ) in the realistic and investigative style while no such denotation is absent in the personality styles of secondary school students in accordance with gender variable ( male and female ) in the social , conventional , artistic and enterprising style.6. The presence of a statistical denotation in the vocational environments of secondary school students in general. 7. The presence of a statistical denotation in the vocational environments of secondary school students in accordance with gender variable ( male opposite female ) in the realistic and vocational investigative environments along side with the absence of such denotation in the vocational environments in accordance with ( male opposite female ) in the social , vocational conventional , vocational enterprising and vocational artistic environments. 8. there is no correlative relation between the vocational selection on one hand and personality styles and prevailing vocational environments of secondary school students on the other. 9. The presence of a correlative relation between personality styles on one hand and the prevailing vocational environments of secondary school students on the other.10. The presence of a correlative relation between styles of sub personality of the tool with the opposite vocational environments of secondary school students as follows : - The presence of a correlative relation between the realistic personality style and the vocational realistic environment. - The presence of a correlative relation between the investigative personality style and the vocational investigative environment. - The presence of a correlative relation between the conventional personality style and the vocational conventional environment. - The presence of a correlative relation between the enterprising personality style and the vocational enterprising environment. - The presence of a correlative relation between the artistic personality style and the vocational artistic environment. 11. The absence of a correlative relation and statistical denotation between the vocational selection as variable on one hand and the personality styles as well as vocational environment as second variable to the members of study correspondents in general.Recommendations : In the light of research results , the researcher suggested some recommendations , we hereby mention some of them : 1. Appling the code of the vocational selection by cancellers to develop the counseling process. Proposals : 2.conducting a study concerning the vocational selection of the secondary school students and its relation with other variables such the self concept.

Accordingly, the goal of the present research is to identify the relation between the vocational self and vocational stability.The research aims at the following : 1 - Introducing study respondents ' vocational self2 - Introducing the vocational self according gender (male, female)3 - Introducing study respondents ' vocational stability4 - Introducing the relation between the vocational self according and vocational stability at study respondents.Current research is determined by educational counselors for the year 2014 - 2015 in Basra.The researcher theoretically definition pro caudally variables search in first chapterThe second chapter has provided the theoretical framework for the theories of which deals vacation self and vocational.Stability and former studies relating to the topic …The building research tools , the researcher has built a scale of vocational self from literature and component of super roger theory.The paragraphs scale it amounted (55) initially paragraph.The search use face validity for the paragraphs scale and aims of jury and experts.The percentage of expectance is ( 80 % ) of each paragraph then I cancelled (12) paragraph because the percentage of these paragraph are not good.I use discriminate validity , reliability and I test and canceled (3) paragraph.I do the test with (200) counselor reliability of vocation self The searcher.I do it by test and re test and value is ( 0,78 ).The vocational scale the taken from ( EDANY study 2011 ) and they do new face.Validity and new reliability.After recognize face validity and discriminate of ( 2 tools ) I do the two tools with (200 ) counselor in Basra schools To achieve these goals, the researcher applied that vocational self standard which has been established by depending on the literatures of vocationalguidance and Rogers - Super theory as well as a vocational self standard which has been adopted via the study of (Al Edani , 2011 ) which was applied in a scientific study to obtain DOCTORATE from Al Mustanseriah University on a study respondents composed of 200 educators. they were selected randomly and plainly from 4 directorates of Basrah - general education departments.After treating such data statistically by using the second option for one study respondents and for tow another study respondents and Bairson ' s connection factor as well as Spareman - Brown s ' equation , the research has concluded the following results : 1 - Presence of a statistical indication in behalf of study respondents on the basis of the vocational self standard2 - The presence of differences having statistical indication according to gender ( male , female )3 - The presence of a statistical indication in behalf of study respondents on the basis of vocational satiability standard.4 - The presence of differences having a statistical indication according to gender ( male , female ) on the basis of vocational satiability standard.5 - The presence of a positive and denotative connective relationship between vocational self and vocational satiability for the study respondents members in general.In the light of the results of this research , the researcher has summed up many recommendations and suggestions related to those results. Abstract: يعاني طالب الجامعة في بعض الاحيان من عجز في تحقيق التوازن بين دوافعه الملحة وضغوط الحياة والتي بدورها تؤثر على صحته النفسية. فطالب الجامعة يمر بمرحلة الشباب ومايتخلل هذه المرحلة من مشكلات وصراعات ناجمة عن سوء توافق دراسي ومن جملة هذه المشكلات الرسوب الدر | A university student sometimes suffers from a deficit in achieving the balance between the pressing motives and,Lite stresses which in turn, affect his mental. Therefore, a university student, undergoing the problems and conflicts which permeate this stage, often suffers from poor academic adjastment. Among these problems is the problem of repeated academic failure. When the student repeats the academic year, he/she is seen as marginalized. This marginalization undercuts the feasibility of the student's efforts and the benefits of supportive measures whether made by family, social group, or educational staff. This cyclical marginalization further reinforces the student's negative perceptions and ideas about himself/herself. Then the student's response to future opportunities and challenges is colored by his/her feelings of being marginalized and, thus, the student does not achieve his or her true potential, the desired results. Thus, this entire process is one of learned helplessness on a declamatory, cognitive, and behavioral level. And this problem is related to another problem which is the Epistemology beliefs among university students which is represented by the system of implicit assumptions which students carry about the nature of knowledge and its acquisition. The study problem is manifested in the answers to the following questions : • Do university students suffer from learned helplessness?• Do the variables of gender, stage, or specialization affect learned helplessness among university students?• What is the level of Epistemology beliefs among the university students?• Do the variables of gender, stage and the specialization have an effect on the Epistemology beliefs among the university students?• Is there a relationship between learned helplessness and cognitive beliefs among the university?The research aims at the following : 1. Measuring the level of learned helplessness among university students.2. Identifying any significant differences of learned helplessness among university students according to the variables( 1) gender; (2) specialization;( c) academic status (success versus failure).3. Measuring the level of the Epistemology beliefs among university students4. Identifying the differences of Epistemology beliefs among university students according to the variables : (a) gender; b : specialization; ( c) academic status (success v. failure).5. Recognizing the relationship between Epistemology beliefs and learned helplessness among university students? To achieve the goals of the research, a scale to measure learned helplessness has been prepared depending on Seligman's theory. The scale consists of 49 items to measure learned helplessness. Additionally, Skomer's scale of Epistemology beliefs was also modified to suite the study sample (university students). The psychometric properties of the scale were extracted by adopting a method of comparing terminals and the reliability of internal consistency, and the stability of the scales was extracted by Cronbach's alpha formula. This scale is applied to a sample of university students (repeaters - and successful) numbering 723 male and female students for the academic year 2015/2016 by using of the variance triple analysis and Pearson correlation coefficient.The most significant results are : 1. Failed (marginalized) students have a level of learned helplessness. 2. There is difference between the Epistemology beliefs of the successful students and the failed (marginalized) students.3. There is a negative correlation relationship between learned helplessness and Epistemology beliefs (learning speed) of the successful students.4. There is a positive correlation relationship between the learned helplessness and Epistemology beliefs. In light of these results, the researcher made some recommendations and proposals : 1. Through programs of the center of teaching methods, the lecturers are enlightened by the most effective ways to deal with the students to raise their motivation to attain and achieve success; especially, focus on students whose academic status is low.2. Holding training courses for the teachers through the programs of teaching methods at university to develop their Learning strategies and how they can develop the Epistemology beliefs of the students

Abstract: يهدف البحث الحالي التعرف على : 1 - السعة العقلية لدى المرحلة الاعدادية.2 - دلالة الفروق في السعة العقلية لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور - اناث), التخصص(علمي - ادبي), الصف (الرابع - الخامس).3 - السمات الشخصية المبتكرة لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية.4 - دلالة الفروق في سمات الشخصية المبتكرة لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور - اناث), التخصص (علمي - ادبي), الصف (الرابع - الخامس).5 - علاقة السعة العقلية بسمات الشخصية المبتكرة لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية.ولتحقيق اهادف البحث، قامت الباحثة باستعمال مقياس السعة العقلية ( لجان بسكاليوني,1970) وطبق المقياس على عينة البحث للصف (الرابع والخامس الاعدادي)، كما قامت الباحثة كذلك بتبني مقياس سمات الشخصية المبتكرة لهولمز(1976), لكونه الاداة المناسبة حسب علم الباحثة القادرة على قياس السمة المراد دراستها وهو مقياس اجنبي تم ترجمته الى العربية, وتعديله بما يتناسب والبيئة العراقية، وتم التحقق من الخصائص السايكومترية لكلا المقياسين، وقد بلغت عينة البحث(776) طالبا وطالبة من الصف الرابع والخامس الاعدادي، واستعملت الباحثة الوسائل الاحصائية الاتية : (الاختبار التائي لعينة واحدة، الاختبار التائي لعينتين مستقلتين المتساويتين بالعدد، ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون، معادلة الفا كرونباخ , وتحليل التباين الثلاثي). وتم التوصل الى النتائج التالية : 1. ان طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية يتمتعون بمستوى عالي في السعة العقلية .2. ان طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية يتمتعون بسمات الشخصية المبتكرة .3. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في السعة العقلية تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور - اناث), التخصص(علمي - ادبي). لكن توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في السعة العقلية تبع لمتغير الصف (الرابع - الخامس ) لصالح الصف الرابع الاعدادي.4. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في سمات الشخصية المبتكرة تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور - اناث), التخصص (علمي - ادبي), المرحلة (الرابع - الخامس) 5. توجد علاقة بين السعة العقلية وسمات الشخصية المبتكرة لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية. التوصيات 1 - ضرورة توفير الفرص والظروف, والانشطة والمهام, والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي اللازمة لتنمية قدرات المتفوقين والمبتكرين الى اقصى قدر ممكن, واسهام ذلك في تنمية وتوسيع السعة العقلية لديهم.2 - اجراء ما يلزم من تعديلات للمناهج الدراسية العادية من حيث المحتوى وطرق التدريس, والتركيز على تفرد التعلم, حسب قدرات واستعدادات الطلبة نحو العملية التعليمية. 3 - ضرورة توفير معلمين متخصصين ومؤهلين للعمل مع الطلاب ذوي السعة العقلية العالية والمبتكرين, واقامة كليات ومراكز عليا لاعداد وتدريب المعلمين المتخصصين للعمل مع المبتكرين ومع ذوي السعات العقلية العليا, مع تقديم الدعم اللازم لتشجيعهم على العمل بدقة وكفاءة مع الطلاب. كذلك اقامة مدارس خاصة صيفية لتقديم موضوعات ومواد معينة كي يلتحق بها المبتكرون والطلاب ذوي السعة العقلية العليا لتطوير مهاراتهم وقدراتهم الخاصة.4 - ضرورة وضع اليات لتنفيذ البرامج التربوية للمبتكرين والاهتمام بذوي السعات العقلية العليا من خلال اجراء مسابقات او برامج او مهرجانات تظهر هذه القدرات العقلية مع وجوب توفر دعم حكومي ومجتمعي اللازم لتنفيذ ذالك.المقترحات1 - اجراء دراسة مع متغيرات اخرى مثل السعة العقلية وعلاقتها بالتفكير الناقد او الادراك او التفوق الاكاديمي وغيرها.2 - اجراء دراسة مع متغيرات اخرى لسمات الشخصية المبتكرة وعلاقتها بالمعلم الناجح او بالنمو المعرفي وغيرها. | The current work aims at the following : 1. Recognizing students' mental capacities in preparatory schools. 2. Identifying the differences in these capacities according to the variant of gender (males - females), the branch of study (pure scientific - humanistic), the level of study (fourth - fifth)3. Recognizing the students' creative personality traits in the preparatory schools.4. Recognizing the differences in these personalities according to the variant of gender (males - females), the specialty of study (humanistic - pure scientific), the level of study (fourth - fifth)5. Recognizing the relationship (positive or negative) between mental capacity and creative personality traits of those students in preparatory schools. The sample included in this study was (776) students (boys and girls) from fourth and fifth classes in the preparatory schools. To accomplish the goals of this work, the researcher has followed and adopted mental capacity measurement made by Pascal - Leone. The scale is applied to those sample students. The researcher also adopted a measurement for creative personality traits put forward by Holmes for it is the only available tool. Then, psychometric features were checked for both of these two kind of measurement using statistical means such as T - test for one specimen, T - test for two independent samples, SPSS and Cronbach's Alpha formula. The results can be summarized I the following points : 1. The students in these schools have a good level of mental capacity. 2. They have a good level of creative personality traits.3. There are no statistical differences in mental capacities according to gender differences (boy - girls), the branch of study (humanistic - pure scientific), but There are statistical differences in mental capacities due to the level of study (four and five classes)4. There are no statistical differences in creative personality traits due to gender differences (boys - girls), the branch of study. But there are statistical differences in creative personality traits due to the level of study (fourth - fifth).5. There is positive relationship between mental capacity and creative personality traits among students in the preparatory schools.

To achieve study objectives, the researcher used two research tools. Specifically, The Spiritual Intelligence Self - Report Inventory (King, 2008) was used by the researcher after translation, validity (i.e., face, translation and discriminatory validity) and reliability confirmation (via using test - retest and Chronbach's Alfa Coefficient). The inventory consists of the following areas : 1 - Critical Existential Thinking, 2 - Personal Meaning Production, 3 - Transcendental Awareness, and 4 - Conscious State Expansion. Inventory alternatives were : Completely true of me, Very true of me, somewhat true of me, Not very true of me, and Not at all true of me. Each alternative take degrees ranging from 4 - 0 for positive items and the reverse for negative ones. For moral Personality, a scale was built based on Blasi's model for moral character and the cognitive - social theory. The final version of the scale consisted of (63) items distributed to the following three areas : 1 - Willpower, 2 - Moral desires, and 3 - Integration.Scale alternatives were : Completely true of me, Very true of me, somewhat true of me, Not very true of me, and Not at all true of me. Each alternative take degrees ranging from 5 to 0 for positive items and the reverse for negative ones. The scale validity (using face validity - discriminatory validity - structure) and reliability (test - retest and Chronbach's Alpha) were verified. Moreover, discriminatory power for the scale's items was verified by applying on a sample of (400) female/male undergraduate students of Al Basrah University (morning study).After psychometric characteristics precision was verified for research scales and items, the two scales were applied on the main research sample (i.e., 360 undergraduate male/female undergraduates of Basrah University : 180 undergraduate male/female undergraduates with high achievement and 180 undergraduate male/female undergraduates with low achievement) selected by regular random sample method. Results were extracted using statistical package for social science (SPSS) and statistical methods including arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson coefficient, t - test with one sample, two - ways analysis of variance "ANOVA", mean differences, standard errors and standard errors differences). Findings were as follow : • Undergraduates with high achievement had higher spiritual intelligence and moral character. • There were statistically significant differences between undergraduates with high achievement in spiritual intelligence according to gender (in favor of males), and moral character according to gender (in favor of females). Moreover, no statistically significant differences were appeared according to specialization. • Undergraduates with low achievement had low spiritual intelligence and moral character.• There were statistically significant differences between undergraduates with low achievement in spiritual intelligence according to gender (in favor of males), and moral character according to gender (in favor of females). Moreover, no statistically significant differences were appeared according to specialization. • There were a positive relationship between spiritual intelligence and moral character. Findings were discussed by the researcher according to theories adopted for each variable (i.e. spiritual intelligence and moral character). In addition, according to literature review, many conclusions were drawn including : spiritual intelligence variable was effective for undergraduates in general, and specifically for those with high and low achievement. Moreover, it was shown as significant in enabling individuals address issues facing them. Additionally, the following recommendations were concluded : the development of moral values and standards which play important role in the formation of moral character for undergraduates through consulting courses.

Dish the scale on a sample of junior high and high school students in the province of Basra, numbered (614) students were chosen random stratified way, and after the sample a questionnaire statistical analysis using the bag of Social Sciences (spss) The results were as follows : - The preparatory level students they have level of worry cognitive perception where it reached arithmetic mean (153.66) compared to center - premise (145) - The results of statistical analysis indicated that the anxiety the level of the females are larger than the level of anxiety in males. - There are significant for their classroom variable compared to the fourth preparatory grade to sixth preparatory for the benefit of the concern cognitive perception. - There is no indication of variable section (scientific - literary)concern in cognitive perception.In light of the findings the researcher found the following recommendations : 1 - On the educational and educational institutions develop special programs to enhance for students self - confidence in various stages of study.2 - Activating the role of educational counselor in the junior high school and detection of cases of worry perception of for students and processed as they arise.3 - Awareness through the mass media to spread the educational programs concern the cognitive perception.To complete current research she researcher suggests the following proposals : 1 - studying the measurement of krowldge anxiety and its relation ship with self - appreciation of in termediate school studonts. 2. Any deficiency leads to difficulties in social interaction. And matcogntion of thinking. The present study aims to : 1 - To Assess the development of the Theory of Mind for University Students.2 - To compare the development of the Theory of Mind amongst the highest achieves Students and their Normal Peers.3 - To Assess the Metacognitive thinking for university students.4 - To compare the Metacognitive Thinking among the highest achieves Students and their Normal Peers.5 - To recognize the Relationship between the development of the Theory of mind and the Metacognitive Thinking for the Hight achieve Students and their Normal Peers in Basra University.The Sample of the study, which was chosen randomly consisted of (400) students : (160) Hight achieves students and (240) normal students. To achieve the aim of the study, an Arabic version of Simon Baron - Cohen and his colleagues (1997) scale "Theory of Mind", and it was also known as "Facial Expression Scale'' and the Arabic version of Schraw and Denison's (1994) metacognitive thinking scale were conducted. Both scales were translated and adapted to be appropriate for the Iraqi environment. It was verified for the psychometric characteristics for both scales. The following statistical methods were used such as : (T - Test for One Independent Sample, T - Test for Two independent Sample, Std. Deviation, MANOVA, Pearson Correlation, Alpha Croanbach‘s Formula, Kuder - Richardson, and Biserial Correlation).The following results outlined : 1 - The results of the study revealed that university students have a developed Theory of Mind at the total score on the scale, and at the level of each domain separately : Emotions and Thoughts.2 - Students recorded higher level in the Theory of Mind in comparison with other normal peers.3 - The results of the study revealed that university students showed a high level of Metacognitive Thinking.4 - Hight achieve students recorded higher level in the Metacognitive Thinking in comparison with other normal peers.5 - There is a strong positive correlation between the Theory of Mind and the Metacognitive Thinking among the highest achieving students and their normal peers.

To establish the scale of academic achievement according to (McClelland's Human Motivation Theory)and to demonstrate it to experts and specialists in measuring and evaluation field , educational psychology.The apparent honesty has been extracted by the using of percentage and (Chi - square) , also the reliability has been extracted by the applying (Spearman - Brown coefficient)as it isreached(0,84) ,the reliability coefficientby the way of split - half (0,74 ).For Cronbach's alpha,the reliability is (0,90) ,also the Internal consistency is extracted between the response of each item and the total degree of scale by using (Spearman - Brown coefficient) as it is reachedgthe highest value of (0,96) and the lowest value of ( 0,54).In order to achieve the research objects , the researcher has relied the following statistics measures : )Chi - Square), (Spearman - Brown law) ,Arithmetic Mean , Standard deviation , skews ,Al - Waseet( Median ) ,Mode ( statistics ) , liner correlation / Pearson , Cronbach's alpha equation and T - test for un - equal separate samples.The findings are showed as follows : 1 - There is a connective relation between reliance - independence from the perceptive aspect and academic achievement motivation.2 - the students of scientific specializations are exceededat the independence aspect from the perceptive aspect more than the literary specializations. 3 - The girl students are exceeded boy students at the level of achievement motivation.4 - There are significant differences statistically between students of scientific specializations and students of humanitarian specializations in cognitive method ( reliance - independence ) from the perceptive aspect in favor of the students of scientific specializations.5 - There are significant differences statistically between females and males in the test of academic achievement motivation in favor of females

The study also revealed that there is neither statistically significant differences on cognitive failures scale according to gender (male - female)to the amount of the value of T (1107). Nor hopelessness scale, according to gender by the T value of $ (2,263) and the level of significance (0.05).In light of the results achieved researcher recommended a number of recommendations, including : The contribution of the media in easing the suffering of university students from cases of hopeless, through television seminars and extension programs in order to help them deal with what they suffer from psychological crises. These characteristics and qualities should be reflected directly on the issue of nominating them for studying the educational consultation and in the process of training and preparing them for this work. Thus, the problem of the present study is the lack of tests and measurements suitable to accept the students in the departments of psychological consultation. It is important to have such psychometric tests as well as scientific and objective questionnaires that could measure, screen and diagnose the characteristics that should be available in the psychological counselor (which should be on the basis of accepting a student in these departments). This issue leads to achieve the aims of the psychological consultation because of which the present study is important.The present study aims at identifying the following : 1. Constructing a system of tests prepared accepting the students in the departments of psychological consultation2. Measuring the counselors' level of performance which includes the following objectives : A. Knowing the emotional Stability of the educational counselors. B. Knowing the tolerance level of the counselors.C. knowing the counselors' level of orientation towards helping D. Knowing the level of personal characteristics appreciation card of educational counselors.The population of the present study includes (371) counselors, both males and females in the province of Basra, for the academic year (2014 - 2015). The sample of this study composed of (300) counselors. The researcher divided the sample randomly into two groups : construction sample (which includes 150 counselors), and the sample of the final application (which includes 150 counselors).In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher has built a four - standard test system which are the standard of emotional equilibrium, tolerance, orientation towards help, and the personal characteristics appreciation card of counselors). The researcher has depended in her construction on Rogers' theory.After doing the construction application, the researcher found psychometric characteristics through calculating the content sincerity, the virtual truthfulness, and the strength of discrimination. Also, she calculated the internal consistency of the items of the system, and the truthfulness of the constructors ,and Factor analysis. Then, she calculated the stability through retesting a sample of (40) counselors. The stability was (0.833),With the value of the coefficient of reliability a measure of emotional equilibrium (0,880) ,the (0,762) to measure tolerance, and (0,712) to measure of orientation towards helping ,and (0,889)measure of personal characteristics appreciation card of educational counselors ,The data was dealt with by using (spss) , T. test for one sample group, Pearson's correlation co efficiency, T. test for the correlation co efficiency , and a T. test for two independent sample groups equal in number.through using all of these, the researcher concluded the following : 1. Constructing a system of tests to accept the students in the departments of psychological counseling departments.2. The members of the sample have a higher level than the virtual standard level of the system of tests. 3. The members of the sample have a higher level than the virtual standard level of emotional Stability.4. The members of the sample have a higher level than the virtual standard level of tolerance.5. The ability to manage emotions is a basic skill to make positive and fruitful relations with others. For individuals to obtain this ability, they should learn from their early age how to manage them. Due to the importance of emotions management and its psychological impact on the sustainability of personal life, theorists have dealt with it in the field of psychological researches for it plays a vital role in the agreement between the counselor and his audience and colleagues. It helps in understanding the feelings of the self and the other in a mature way. It is an important factor in the stability of professional life especially for the counseling career which needs this skill.In the life of people, future does have a mental image structured in the light of what goals they plan for and ambitions they want to achieve. The loss or blurring of this image results in making the individual desperate and disappointed and can't carry on struggle and cope with life. Future time perspective plays a prominent role in forming future evaluations and perceptions. A successful individual is the one who is able to foresee the future through an ideal and unique mental vision of the future.Perceptions enable the educational counselor to forecast and clearly see what will happen in the future, then work on constructing a future educational strategy that is very important in increasing development in education and learning. This thesis aims at : 1. Measuring the degree of emotions management in educational counselors. 2. Knowing the significance of the differences in managing emotions according to the two variables of : a) Gender (males - females)b) Study specification (psychological guidance - psychology) 3. Measuring the degree of future perceptions in educational counselors.4. Knowing the significance of the differences in future perceptions according to the two variables of : c) Gender (males - females)d) Study specification (psychological guidance - psychology) 5. Knowing whether there exists a correlation between emotions management and future perceptions in educational counselors.The study sample is (150) male and female educational counselors in Basrah province in the academic year (2015 - 2016), they have been chosen randomly. The researcher adopted the correlative descriptive procedure for it is the most suitable for the nature of the study. For the research purposes, the researcher adopted the scale of (emotions management) prepared by (Salih, 2014), in its final version, the scale consisted of (36) items. Face validity and stability of the scale have been calculated, it obtained a (0.89) stability coefficient by test retest method. The researcher herself constructed a scale for (future perceptions), which consisted of (42) items in its final version. The items of the scale reflected three areas (general field, specific field, self field). The researcher checked the face validity, validity of construction and stability of the scale by taking the opinions of jury of experts. The scale obtained a (0.92) stability coefficient by test retest method. This value of the stability coefficient is considered to be good for the trusted degree of stability in the psychological scales is preferred to be higher than (70%). After subjecting the data to statistical analysis, the results showed the following : 1. The study sample has a higher level of emotions management than the hypothesized level. 2. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) according to the variable of gender (males - females) in emotions management.3. There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) according to the variable of study specification (psychological guidance - psychology) in emotions management.4. The study sample has a higher level of future perceptions than the hypothesized level. 5. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) according to the variable of gender (males - females) in future perceptions.6. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) according to the variable of study specification (psychological guidance - psychology) in future perceptions.7. There is a statistically significant positive correlative relationship at (0.05) between emotions management and future perceptions in educational counselors. The researcher has come up with a number of conclusions : there is a positive correlative relationship between the variables of the study (emotions management and future perceptions), which means that whenever the educational counselors' ability to manage their emotions increases their positive future perceptions increase too. An individual who is able to control his emotions and manage them his latent energy breaks out to draw a future picture and run for achieving it successfully. The researcher has come up with a number of recommendations : granting the counselors greater authorities, taking their perceptions, opinions, suggestions and plans to develop the counseling process into consideration, holding workshops for schools administrations to develop their awareness of the educational counselor's role. Building a counseling program to manage emotions for educational counselors whose specification is other than psychological guidance. Conducting other studies that tie the two variables of this study with variables like (alienation, leadership and disability) in a sample of educational counselors

Neurotic perfectionism may hinder achieving goals. it could be a problem for some people when it becomes a requirement in achieving high and difficult goals. or when such requirement are higher than human abilities. Neurotic perfectionism causes to many problems for people and students which might lead to depression and desperation. This car hinder study performance of students and leads to make perfectionism effects appear on students a academically. represented by low performance fear, failure and incomplete homework's which might lead to delay in the process of learning. it also leads to misconduct and bad family relationships. This is due to the adopting high levels of perfection which might lead to the inability to achieve or reach at such levels. On the contrary, in the normal case where perfection levels ore realistic and can be achieved. In this case perfectionism and high performance can be achieved.Perfectionism can also have effects on individuals life in facing daily stress. Most researchers believe that people with perfectionism are prone to different levels. f press are. Students care is thus, considered as an educational issue of great importance as it is considered as national treasure that should be invested to develop the societies.The aims of this research are : 1. Identifying normal - neurotic perfectionism of students of sixth stage preparatory schools.2. Identifying differences in normal - neurotic perfectionism according to sex (male - female), specialization (scientific - literary) and location (city center - suburb).3. Identifying psychological stresses of sixth stage students.4. Identifying differences in psychological stresses according to sex (male - female), specialization (scientific - literary) and location (city center - suburb). 5. Identifying of the relationship between normal - neurotic perfectionism and the psychological stresses. The researcher sample consists of (465) male and female students of sixth stage preparatory schools in Basra (2014 - 2015) male and female students (scientific and literary). They have been chosen or literarily. The researcher follows the descriptive procedure. To achieve the goals of the research, the researcher bas adopted the (Normal - Neurotic perfectionism) scale in this study (Abdulnabi, 2009).The scale includes (44) items that fall in four parts in which it represents the first part - personal features which are divided into three dimensions : for individual to himself, from individual to others, and from others to individual. The second dimension is fear of failure and the third dimension is dissatisfaction. The fourth dimension is the feeling of miss confidence and deficiency. Face validity, construct validity and reliability of stability where the factor of stability is (0.81) according to testing and re testing. The researcher initiated the second tool which is the (psychological stress). The scale includes in its final shape (56) items that fall into seven parts : (domestic, learning, social, economical, neurotic and security). The researcher verifies the face validity of the scale by exposing it to a group of referees and construct validity and reliability where it gains (0.85)according to testing and retesting method. This factor is considered good in the sense that the normal factor should be more than (0.70). The results show that : 1. Research sample have a higher level than hypothetical average of normal - neurotic perfectionism.2. There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to sex variable(male - female) for the female side. 3. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to specialization (scientific - literary).4. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to location (city center - suburb). 5. Research sample have a higher level than hypothetical average of psychological stress.6. There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to sex variable(male - female) for the female side.7. There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to sex variable (scientific - literary) for the scientific side.8. There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level between degrees of the sample according to location (city center - suburb).9. There found a positive statistical correlation at (0.05) between normal - neurotic perfectionism and psychological stress of research subjects. The researcher concludes that : The relationship between normal - neurotic perfectionism variable and the psychological stress variables indicates that there is a positive statistical correlation between this variables. Any increase in the perfection, is associated with increase in psychological stress. This encourages other researchers to study psychological and personal problem in heir future works. The researchers recommendations are : The necessity of taking care of students and providing them with psychological support through early support and productive help. That can assist in achieving a so of psychological balance to the students. With his ego. And with others. This leads to providing suitable environment that can build their personalities and make them effective in their societies. The researcher suggest some future works represented in constructing a knowledgeable counseling program me in reducing neurotic perfectionism. To verify the hypptheses of the study ,the researcher followed the experimental approach of the two independent variables : Self - management and Social skills and the other related variable of the academic concept of the self. The sample of the study included( 39) female students in Dept.of psychological counseling and Educational Guidance who were divided into three groups : two as experimental and the third was a control. The procedures of the study are the following : 1.Designing the scale of the academic concept of the self and providing the psychological features of validity and consistency to obtain the face validity of the scale, differentiation validity and the internal symmetryof the items. Consistency was obtained by Alpha Cronbach method and it was (0,739).The final model of the scale was applied on a sample of (180) male and female students of the 2nd and 4th classes in the Dept.2.Designing two training programs : one of self - management and the other was of social skills. The researcher depended on the model of (Kent 1993) after developing it. The two training programs were applied on the two experimental groups : participants in the first group were trained on the self - management where as participants of the second group were trained on the social skills.The researcher used many statistical techniques in (SPSS) and as appropriate to the aims and hypotheses of the study. The results revealed the following : 1.There no statistically significant differences in the variable of the learning class on the scale of the academic concept of the self for students of the second year and those of the fourth year in significance level of( 0,05).2. There no statistically significant differences among the students in the scale of the academic concept of the self in the variable of sex for the students of the fourth year in significance level of( 0,05). whereas there are statistically significant differences in the scale of the academic concept of the self the variable of sex for students of the second year.3. There are statistically significant differences between the second experimental group ( self - management ) and the control group on the scale of the academic concept of the self in favour of the first experimental group.4. There are statistically significant differences between the second experimental group ( social skills ) and the control group on the scale of the academic concept of the self in favour of the second experimental group.5. There are statistically significant differences between the pre - test and the post - test of the first experimental group on the scale of the academic concept of the self and in favour of the post - test.6. It is proved that the two programs are efficient in training , besides the results show that the second program ( social skills ) is better according to the results of the one - way Anova analysis. On the light of the results of this study, the researcher recommended the following : 1.It is necessary to involve students in the various activities that aim to increase their practical skills and develop the skills required for the profession of educational guide.2. It is necessary educate the students about the importance of realizing their academic competence in the specialization that they choose.3. Nowadays, it is, for all countries, a national goal and an aim that is targeted by economic, political, social and educational systems of the world. The quality of life, in Iraq and the Arab Homeland, has been highly affected by wars and terrorist acts which left many martyrs and widowed many women and orphaned many children. Absence of security, stability, reconstruction, health welfare and the widespread of unemployment and pollution in Iraq have negatively impacted the personality of Iraqi people. Out of all this, the problem of the research has come into existence. It can be confined by the following question : what is the relationship between complex thinking and the quality of life in educational counselors?Importance of the research : Thinking is the source of knowledge and knowledge is the source of modifying human behavior. That's what makes human behavior different from that of animals which never changes or develops. As much as human knowledge grows bigger his attitude towards things changes and ways of benefitting from this knowledge change as well. Complex thinking can be considered as individual's most appropriate behavior as he invests it to develop his mental skills. Solving the problems that he faces requires him to acquire the skills of complex thinking that enable him to untie contrast, find harmony and reveal vagueness. The scientific way of thinking leads to solve the problem appropriately. That's why many researches, studies and specialized programs tackled the topic of thinking in all its types : critical thinking, creative thinking and super cognitive thinking. These types of thinking have been the subject of investigation in teachers, students, university professors and official employees in comparison with educational counselors. Nedrom (2003) believes that educational counselors play a vital role in supporting students, helping them to identify clear academic goals, putting educational plans, helping students to mix and cope with the educational environment, finding professional preferences. Goals of the research : This study aims at : 1. Measuring the degree of complex thinking in the research sample.2. Measuring the degree of the quality of life in the research sample.3. Knowing if there are statistically significant differences between complex thinking and quality of life in the research sample. This study is confined to a limited sample of educational counselors from both sexes (males and females) in primary and secondary schools in (Basrah, Di - Qar, Missan and Almuthana) in the academic year 2015 - 2016. The final research sample have been selected randomly, it included (278) male and female counselors from (Basrah, Di - Qar, Missan and Almuthana).In order to achieve the goals of the current study, the researcher has built a scale to measure complex thinking following Grown (1999), where psychometric properties have been identified through finding both sides of validity, i.e. face and content of the scale. The discriminatory power has also been extracted by applying the scale on a sample of (250) male and female counselors for discrimination purposes. The reliability of the scale has been calculated by means of using the test - retest procedure, it was (0.92), while it was (0.84) by using Cronbach's Alpha method for complex thinking scale. The researcher adopted the world health organization's scale of (1998) for quality of life. The data have been statistically analyzed by means of using SPSS Data Analysis Software. The study has arrived at the following results : 1. There are statistically significant differences in both (complex thinking and quality of life) for the sample of the study in comparison with the hypothetical means of these two variables.2. There is a statistically significant relationship in the individuals of the sample of the study in general between (complex thinking and quality of life).In the light of the results of the current study, the researcher recommends the following : *. The problem of the study can be summarized in the following question : "Is there sympathy in private and public school teachers towards their pupils?The aims of this study are limited to the following points : 1. Constructing a sympathy measurement for teachers in public and private schools towards their pupils. 2. Measuring the level of sympathy among the public and private school teachers. 3. Recognizing the differences of sympathy levels in those teachers according to the variant of class and type of education (public or private). 4. Identifying the differences in sympathy levels among those teachers according to the variant of gender (males or females). 5. Knowing the relationship between the sympathy level among the those teachers and the variant of educational background. 6. Recognizing the relationship between the sympathy level among those teachers according to the variant of age.7. Knowing the relationship between the sympathy level among those teachers according to the period of service in education. 8. Recognizing the relationship of sympathy level among them according to their marital status. 9. Identifying the differences in the sympathy levels in those teachers according to the variant of social condition (married, single, widower, divorced). 10. Identifying the differences in the sympathy levels among those teachers according to the variant of gender (males or females) and the type of classes (private or public). The sample of this study consists of 502 teachers selected randomly from 369 schools (private and public) in Basra. Concerning the theoretical framework of this research, the researcher exhibited a number of theories that explain sympathy, then the researcher exposed some studies written on this topic. The model adopted is made by Hoffman (1982) which sees sympathy as something related to the awareness of others' feelings, thoughts, his intentions, aims and self - evaluation. To accomplish the goals of this study, it is necessary to use a means of measuring sympathy. The researcher has constructed this measurement tool according to the scientific ways of making measurements. She gathered the points of measurements and showed them to a number of experts working in the field of psychological counseling and psychology. After getting acceptance for 45 items in, the researcher made this scale. After that, she get the discriminant validity for these items by getting the T - test. All these tests were perfect except for 10 items, and by getting SPSS through using two extreme groups, it is shown that all the items are consistent except 13 items. Thus, 31 items were obtained and thus the criterion was formed in its final state. In order to be sure about the reliability, it is measured by a number of ways such as half - split by suing the correlation factor between half - split reliability reaching (0.86) and correction by using Brown - Spearman's equation and measured via Cronbach's equation and the value of stability was (0.92). By using SPSS, the researcher has reached at the following results : 1. There are differences with statistical evidence between the sympathetic staff of teachers in both types of schools. 2. There are no statistical differences between the teachers towards their pupils in both types of schools. 3. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and gender. 4. There is a statistical relationship between sympathy and age of those teachers.5. There a statistical relation between sympathy and the period of service in teaching. 6. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and marital status. 7. There is a statistical relation between sympathy and the academic status towards the negativity. 8. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and the variant of social condition (married, single, widower, divorced).9. There are no evidential differences between sympathy and the social variant (private or public school). The researcher recommends the following : 1. Employing sympathy among male and female pupils via holding discussing sessions explaining the scope of their influence and their role in treating with the pupils and growing their sympathy. 2. Building schools for those who need special needs to make their teachers able to be sympathetic with them in correspondence with their individual needs. 3. Building new schools and visiting a number of classes within a single school to limit the number of pupils within the class to enable suitable sympathy.

Students of preparatory schools are included in this stage for they are required to have the lead of the society and its different domains. Those students may face a lot of psychological troubles that will affect their lifestyle negatively especially at the level of communication and interaction. There are two realizations of egocentrism. First, some of them believe that they are the center of others' attentions. Second, others make stories about themselves reflecting their belief in unrealistic thoughts without discussing their truth values, these, in turn, affect their personalities causing some troubles. During adolescence, there appears a positive side which is the shaping of self identity, and negatively how personal roles become unstable or scattered. During this stage of life, some ask about their being and what s/he will be. Accordingly, the individual will face an inner conflict of identifying the self. Those who have this symptom are suffering from self - unawareness in that the individual feels lost, dependent, ignorant. Thus, psychologists find it necessary to investigate about this matter. Thus, the main objective of this study is to investigate the egocentrism and the trouble of students' identity of preparatory school. It also tries to recognize the relative differences between males and females as far as this matter is concerned. It also focuses on the educational field differences, whether pure sciences or human sciences. Further, the study aims at identifying the correlative relation between egocentrism and student' personality crisis.To attain the objectives of the study, an equal and random number of students in preparatory schools is selected from the center of Basra (400 male and female students) of both fields of study. AThe researcher chose two instruments of analysis. The first one is to measure egocentrism and its psycho - metric features are attested (explicit honesty and structural one), and stability of the test is done via testing and retesting. Thus, the correlative factor reaches (0.82) following Cronbach's Alpha. The stability value gets (0.78). The second tool of analysis is the measurement of personality or identity crisis, its psycho - metric features are attested and its measurement stability is done via testing and retesting. The correlative factor gets (0.81) following Cronbach's Alpha, and the stability value gets (0.80) using the appropriate statistical means to achieve the purpose of this study. The main results of this study are : 1) The specimen did show the phenomenon of egocentrism and this can be attributed to this phenomenon is temporary occurring at a particular stage of life such as during adolescence, and during the passage of time, egocentrism abates via the teenagers' cooperation and interactions.2) There is an extreme positive and correlative relation between egocentrism and identity crisis. The researcher has recommended that cooperation and interaction should be encouraged especially between the teenagers and their parents and also their teachers. The researcher has also suggested that students at the intermediate level, who are suffering from egocentrism and how their parents treat them, should be investigated.

Undoubtedly, internet network is the newest and most widely spread among all. In spite of its being most important and offering great services in the different fields of life, internet entices users to spend long hours surfing the websites in an abusive way which negatively impacts them. One of the problems that man suffers from nowadays is the existential frustration which is resulted from feelings of emptiness, boredom and uselessness that hit the man in the different aspects of life. The muchness of psychological pressures, crises that struck the man and the dullness of the environment that surrounds him have the greatest impact on man to live a life that is free of meaning and values. The problem of the study is summarized in the answer to the following question : Is there any relationship between internet addiction and existential frustration in adults? The study gains its importance from the variables of internet addiction and existential frustration, the target sample of adults which makes a large population of the society. The importance also comes from finding the relationship between the two variables; where internet addiction might not be a separate disorder but a result of the individual's suffering of frustration. The study aims at knowing the following : 1. The level of internet addiction in a sample of adults. 2. The level of existential frustration in a sample of adults.3. The differences in the level of internet addiction in adults according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age)4. The differences in the level of existential frustration in adults according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age)5. The relationship between internet addiction and existential frustration in a sample of adults.The sample of the study included adults who are officially employed in the governmental institutes of education, higher education, health as well as those who are unemployed but officially registered in the social welfare institutes in Almuthana governorate in the year (2016). The number of the research sample is (400) adults who were chosen in a stratified random way. In order to achieve the goals of the research, the researcher built two scales to measure internet addiction and existential frustration whose items were chosen by reviewing literature and previous studies. The procedure of building the items was done practically, starting with assigning the fields, conducting reliability and validity and analysis of the items. After collecting the data and having it statistically analyzed by means of using SPSS Data Analysis Software, the researcher reached at the following results : 1. The research sample does not suffer from internet addiction.2. The research sample suffers from existential frustration.3. The unemployed use the internet more than the employed.4. Adults between 21 - 39 use the internet more than others.5. The unemployed between 21 - 39 use the internet more than others.6. There are no statistically significant differences between males and females in using the internet.7. There are no statistically significant differences in existential frustration according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age).8. There exists a weak correlation between internet addiction and existential frustration. In the light of these results, the researcher has come up with the following recommendations : 1. The ministries of the government should hold seminars and workshops for their employees to warn them of the dangers of internet addiction. There should be coordination with the ministry of higher education to provide specialized lecturers in psychological health and psychological therapy. 2. Eradicating unemployment by finding suitable job opportunities for youths to secure them from its dangers, such as frustration. The researcher suggested the following two future studies and researches : 1. Conducting a study about the pressures of life and its relation with internet addiction.2. Conducting a study about future thoughts and its relation with existential frustration.

B - There are differences of statistical indication among the ranks of the control group's marks concerning the pre and post exam.C - There are differences of statistical indication among the ranks of the experimental and control groups' marks concerning the pre and post test.In order to examine the research hypothesis, the researcher uses the experimental two - group design ( experimental group and control group for the pre and post test) to apply for the male old - age research community resident in Governmental Homes at Basra and Baghdad Provinces which number is (131) as per 15/02/2014. The research sample chosen consists of (100 old - age individuals) while the experiment sample consisting of (20 old - age individuals) who ranked marks higher than the hypothetical medium of the scale. Those last are distributed fairly into two groups (experimental group & control group). Equivalence between the two groups is made at some of variables such as (respondent grades on the existential anxiety scale, chronological age, length of residence period). The experimental group exposes to a counseling program in accordance with the opposite intent approach, while the control group does not receive any counseling program.For achieving the aim of the current research and testing its hypotheses, the following steps are made by the researcher : 1 - The construction of the existential anxiety scale of 42 items at five areas (Existential vacuum, the meaning of life, the meaning of death, the meaning of suffering, loss of social attribution). To verify the psychometric standards of the scale, it is important to verify the reliability of scale in terms of virtual reliability and the reliability of construction. As for stability measures, the researcher relies upon the re - test method as the reliability coefficient appears to be (0,83).2 - The construction of a counseling program on accordance with the opposite - intent approach, as the total program sessions are (14) counseling session presented as three sessions per week.In terms of the statistical procedures, a number of measures are employed including : ((Pearson correlation coefficient, two - independent - sample t - test, one - sample t - test, Mann Whitney test, and Wilcoxon test).Results of the current research show the following : 1 - There are differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to the experimental group in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale.2 - There are no differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to the control group in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale. 3 - There are differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to both experimental and control groups in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale.In light of research results, a number of recommendations and suggestions emerges.Recommendations : 1 - Benefit of social researchers working in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs from the program developed to reduce existential anxiety in this age group.2 - Benefit of the existential anxiety measurement means prepared by the researcher during the current research in order for using it for detecting existential anxiety at other age groups by educational counselors.3 - The continuous concern of old - age individuals by family and society for the huge experiences of this age group at various fields, which can be benefited of to the social service.Suggestions : 1 - Conducting a survey study to identify the level of existential anxiety of old - age individuals at the Governmental Old - age Homes of Iraq.2 - Conducting a survey study to identify the impact of opposite - intent approach on other variables like psychological alienation, affinity, and compassion. 3 - Conducting a study to reduce existential anxiety of old - age individuals resident at Governmental Homes by means of another approaches like self - sublimation or thinking - shift, and comparing their results with the results of current research
