Abstract: تؤدي الالعاب اللغوية دورا مهما في عملية التعليم والتعلم لكونها تسهل مواقف تعلم اللغة وتوفر مدخلات مفهومة وتمكن التلاميذ من التعلم لاشعوريا بشكل يرتبط بالمتعة والمرح في جو غير رسمي يجعلهم يشاركون في استخدام اللغة الاجنبية دون قيود. اضافة ا | Language games play an important role in the teaching - learning process since they ease the situation of language learning, provide comprehensible input, and enable pupils to learn subconsciously with enjoyment and fun in an informal atmosphere that makes pupils freely participate in using the foreign language. Moreover, language games have a significant role in increasing pupils’ proficiency and ability in using language with a purpose in the situation that they provide. Hence, the present study aims at : 1 - empirically investigating the effect of using games on the first intermediate graders’ achievement in pronunciation and spelling ; and 2 - developing pupils’ ability in these two areas. To fulfil these aims, two null hypotheses are postulated. They are : 1 - There is no statistically significant difference between the achievement of the pupils who are taught pronunciation and spelling through using language games and that of the pupils who are taught these areas through the conventional way. 2 - There is no statistically significant difference between the experimental group pupils’ achievement in the pre and posttests of pronunciation and spelling. To achieve the aims of this study, an experiment was conducted using the ‘pretest - posttest non equivalent groups’ experimental design. Two sections of thirty - six pupils each were randomly selected from Jareer Secondary School for Girls. One of these sections was also randomly assigned to be the experimental group (taught with the use of games) and the other to be the control one (taught without using games). The subjects of the groups were statistically matched in a number of variables. The researcher herself taught the two groups the same material, which is six units of NECI (Book III). The experiment lasted six weeks. Two achievement tests were constructed (a pronunciation test and a spelling test) based on a content analysis of the material taught during the experiment; thus their content validity was ascertained. Then the two tests were exposed to a jury of experts to ensure their face validity. Concerning the reliability of the two tests, several methods were used : split half, Kuder - Richardson formula 20, alpha Cronbach and intrascorer reliability, yielding reliability coefficients that range between 0.516 and 0.798. An item analysis was carried out for each test to determine item difficulty level and item discriminating power. Then the same tests were administered to the study subjects before and after the instruction. Using the t - test for two independent samples, it is found out that there are statistically significant differences in the pronunciation and spelling tests at 0.05 level in favour of the experimental group. The results also indicate that , using the t - test for two dependent samples, there is a significant development in the experimental group pupils’ achievement in both pronunciation and spelling tests.The researcher comes to the conclusion that using language games positively affects the pupils’ achievement in pronunciation and spelling and improves their learning in these two areas.In the light of the study results, a number of recommendations and suggestions for further research were made.

Researcher checked the standard validity through showing it on experts and arbitrators , While checked its reliability by re - analysis. the analysis coefficient reach by the researcher and himself by re - analysis through time (0.85) and the reliability coefficient between the first external analyst is (0.81) while with the second external analyst is (0.83), either the reliability coefficient between external analysis themselves is ( 0.80). As , the researcher prepared the test of higher thinking skills, which represents the second tool to study, Which it aims to detect these skills for students , as the test included in its final form (30) items, the researcher made sure of apparent validity by submitting it to the experts and arbitrators and made sure of the content validity by extracting of the items discriminating Power and made sure of the reliability by three ways : first Re - test and was reliability coefficient(0.80),The second way that retail midterm(0.82),of three way this Kuder - Richardson Formulas 20, way that retail midterm(0.86). The sample of the study consisted all in the six books and the sample of students includes (600) male and female students at the Directorate of Education Baghdad Al - Rusafa/ 3.The researcher analyzed the six books using the analysis tool(standard),the test applied on the basic sample and the researcher used statistical tools including : Cooper equation, Pearson correlation coefficient, and the second test for a single sample and two independent samples as well as equation of Spearman - Brown, and the equations of ease and difficulty and discriminatory power for the items.The study found that : 1 - The main analysis skill came the first ranked in literature books and texts , in all scientific and literary stages ,the merger and integration skill came the last and fifth in these books also exception a book of the literature and texts for scientific fifth class which occupied the organization skill the fifth ranked and last.2 - The literature book and texts of the fifth preparatory class the first ranked in skills then the book of sixth preparatory then the book of the fourth preparatory class lastly, while the literature books and texts came the first ranked for scientific classes the number of skills then books of literary classes.3 - The main analysis skill came the first book order in all sixth merger and integration skill came the last in this order, while the main organization skill came the first ranked while the main organization skill came the first ranked in the ranking of skills for students in all stages and the evaluation skill came the fifth and last in this ordering.4 - The difference between arithmetic means regarding the three grades of preparatory stage and hypothetical mean refers to level(0.05) which the students that they have not higher level thinking skills.5 - There is no difference between the mean of the scores of the students on the higher level thinking test refers to level (0.05), according to the sex variable, while there is difference between the mean of the scores of the students according to the variable of the specialization for the benefit of the scientific.In light of the results of the study , the researcher recommended the need to adopt a clear strategy to include higher level thinking skills in these books , with the need to put general goals at the beginning of the books focus on higher - level thinking skills , connecting with subjects with each other and re - drafting the books of science related classes.The researcher suggested conducting similar studies on books and other topics , and conduct a comparative study between literature and texts books in Iraq and literature books in some Arab countries for a higher - level thinking skills

The third chapter : This chapter contained the research procedure (the experimental program) and the research sample, means of collecting information, the tools, equipments and measurements used, the physical, functional and skill experiments, theobservational trial, the scientific basis of the experiments, field research measures, earlier experimentation, the training program, the dimensional experiments, collection and distribution of data, the statistical procedures. The fourth chapter : Results and their analysis were illustrated in this chapter and discussing what the researcher has arrived to of trials he performed on the sample of the research by using the statistical methods with which he would be able to achieve the research aims and hypothesis. The fifth chapter : This chapter included the conclusions that the researcher has come out with after applying the program in the light of which gave some recommendations, one of which is the necessity to use the methods and the scientific grounds when establishing the training programs and using the field tests to know the physical and functional standard and the players skills for the possibility of doing it as well as organizing training courses to the coaches in training procedures and the necessity for carrying out similar researches. Abstract: This thesis consisted of five chapters, which are : Chapter 1 : the definition of this research This research contained an introduction and the importance of this topic. Quick development of our modern days is in all life areas, so the states are racing to keep up with this evolution in various fields. Thus, all of the employers in the educational institution must, in light of this rapid change, take advantage of modern methods of teaching and used it to develop the educational process. Meanwhile, the researcher shows his viewpoints in using the ''input method'' (embedding), which is one of the teaching methods that taking into considerations the students' levels and involve all them in the learning process, as well as, the impact of using the learning method for practical methodology skills under discussion by applying the plan ofphysical education lesson in using various method that is adopted by the physical education teacher and interested in miscellaneous materials in order to give more effectiveness or game in one lesson.The problem The students of intermediate stage are not participated in some of the skills that whether they are less than their level or higher than it. Because of the absence of multiple levels of difficulty, Many students have not progress in their level and do not learn. The objectives1 - Preparing curriculum by using the input method for improving some basic methodological skills according to miscellaneous plan in football and basketball.However, these objectives can be achieved under the researcher' assumptions.2 - There are significant differences between the arithmetic means in accordance to the results of the pre - tests and post - tests for both groups namely, experimental and control in learning some basic methodological skills in football and basketball and for thesake post - tests. Chapter TwoThis chapter includes two axes, the first dealt with the theoretical studies as the concept of learning and teaching , methods and tools of teaching and their importance in the learning, as well as, their types and characteristics. Also, this research concerned with teaching style for input and embedding , i.e., its objectives and characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages toward the ways of its development. This research also shows the concept of miscellaneous plan, as well as, some football skills such as (scoring ,rolling and scrolling) and the skills of basketball such as (clapotement, handling and scoring). The second axis includes previous studies of a number of the former researchers.Chapter Three This chapter includes research methodology, in that researcher used the experimental method, and selected a research sample randomly which number (43) students from intermediate second stage (and a researcher conducted homogeneity of this sample and take into consideration the variables (height, weight, age), as well as equivalence, and knowledge of the research's procedures and tools in determining skills and its tests, also the reconnaissance experience , the scientific conditions of the test in terms of (honesty, consistency, objectivity) and preparing the curriculum, then post - tests, and statistical means). Chapter IVThis chapter includes Showing, analyzing and discussing the findings of the pre - and post - tests, for the control and experimental groups.Chapter V This chapter includes the most important conclusions and recommendations reached by the researcher : 1 - The consequences of the tests proved the validity of the curriculum followed by the researcher, and its effectiveness which influencing in teaching students' the methodological skills in football and basketball.2 - To adopt the curriculum of input method and embedding that prepared by the researcher.

The sample was randomly distributed into three group two experimental group and one Control. The first experimental group ( consists of 64 students ) taught the literature and texts material Using the homogeneity Learning. Whereas the Second experimental group ( consists of 62 students ) taught the same materil Using the traditional way.Whereas the Third experimental group ( consists of 62 students ) taught the same moterial Using the traditional way. Mean while, the subjects of all groups are matched according to ( Age by months, Parents ‘ level of education, their marks in Arabic Language material in the previous year 2012 - 2013 , their marks in the literature and text , and the IQ test marks variables ). The researcher has controlled the extraneous variables which may affect the internal and external safety of the research. After determining the material which consisted of the literature and text textbook ( 2012 - 2013 ) , the res archer set ( 300 ) behavior , and he prepared typical Lesson plans for teaching the experimental groups. forAcquiring literary concepts, the researcher prepared a multiple choice test of five options ( the tests consists of 30 items). whereas he chose ( AL - Abidy , 2007 ) scale which consists of ( 20 ) multiple choice item to measure , The students ‘ literary tasting. The validity , reliability ,items discrimination , items difficulty , time allotted , and distracters‘ efficierxy have been achieved. Using ANOVA and t - test for two independent samples , the fallowing results have been achieved : 1 - There is a statistically significant difference at the reference level ( 0.05 ) between the mean scores of the first experimental group ( using the homogeneity learning strategy ) and those of the second experimental group (using heterogeneity familiarization strategy , and the mean score of the control group who taught the material using the traditional way of teaching in acquiring the literary concepts for the benefit of the first experimental group. 2 - There is a statistically significant difference at the reference level ( 0.05 ) between the mean scores of the first experimental group ( using the homogeneity learning strategy ) and those of the second experimental group (using heterogeneity familiarization strategy , and the mean score of the control group who taught the material using the traditional way of teaching in acquiring literary tasting for the benefit of the first experimental group. Abstract: يواجه الطلاب العراقين متعلمي اللغة الانكليزية لغة اجنبيه, عده صعوبات في اتقان الاصغاء واستيعاب ما يسمعونه. لذلك , للتغلب على هذه الصعوبات يجب على المعلمين ان يفعلوا ما بوسعهم وايجاد الطريقه الصحيحة المؤثره الي تساعد الطلبه في الفهم والاستجابة لما يسمعون | Iraqi EFL learners face many difficulties in mastering listening and comprehending what they hear. So, to overcome such difficulties, teachers must do their best and find the most effective way that will help their students to understand and responsed to what they hear. This study is an attempt to meet students’ needs to improve their listening comprehension achievement and to prove scientifically and empirically the effectiveness of using one classroom - computer on the intermediate school students’ achievement. In recent years, computers have become common in modern life. Many people use computer in many areas such as office management, marketing, banking, computer games and the like. Hence, the use of computer technology in education is considered an important factor in the teaching and learning process especially in language learning Aim of this study is to investigate the effect of using one computer - classroom on Iraqi EFL learners' achievement in listening comprehension at intermediate schools.To achieve this aim, the following hypothesis has been posited : There is no statistically significant difference between the listening comprehension mean scores of students who are taught by the proposed technique and that of the control group which is taught by the traditional technique. The study is limited to 2nd grade intermediate schools for boys in Diyala Governorate during the academic year 2012 - 2013. The procedures followed are : 1. Selecting two groups to be the sample of study and assigning them as an experimental group and a control one,2. Equalizing the two groups in terms of several variables which are Age of the subjects, academic level of father, academic level of mother, and the pre - posttest,3. Constructing a posttest to assess the samples’ listening comprehension, and4. Exposing the test to specialists in ELT and linguistics to ensure its face validity. 5. Conducting a pilot study.6. Calculating the reliability coefficient of the test,7.Teaching the students of the experimental group listening comprehension according to one computer - classroom ,while teaching the students of the control group listening comprehension by the conventional technique, and8. Exposing the two groups to the post test then calculating data9. Using suitable statistical tools for analyzing data of the study.10. Stating conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions. The finding of the study shows that the achievement of the experimental group in the post test is significantly superior to that of the control group. The finding indicates that using one - computer classroom is efficient in achieving the aim it is designed for.Pedagogical recommendations and suggestions for further studies have been presented in the light of the finding of the study

Where many of the students are slow learners have problems in motivation which working on obstruction their activities and make them less performance in their school homework, and accompanied by the concept of self - low and low self - esteem. Well as the performance of low educational. Affects the feeling of inferiority, fear and helplessness and anxiety for students from class slow learners in their confidence to succeed, which affects negatively to find solutions to the problems they face and the associated study. So focused educators in directing part of their interests to the study of the most important methods and educational programs that contribute to raising the level of self - confidence for them. Consists motivation learning for pupils slow learners in the ability of guiding and encouraging them by teachers in the form of training programs to raise the motivation to learn them. And the importance to the issue of motivation to learn what caused the shortage of social problems and other educational. The aims of study to knowing the effect of training program to increase the motivation to learn to slow learners.This is realized through verifying the following hypotheses : 1 - No statistically significant differences between the scores of the experimental group on a scale of learning motivation in the pre and post tests. 2 - No statistically significant differences between the scores of the control group on a scale of learning motivation between pre and post tests. 3. No no statistically significant differences between the Order experimental group and control group on a scale of learning motivation after applying the program The researcher used the experimental methodology depending on the experimental design of two equally matched samples. The sample attained (24) students distributed equally into two groups : the experimental group (12) students and groups (12) of slow - learning low - motivation students through measuring Motivation to learn scale prepared by the researcher. The number of items in its final form from (38) items. The researcher made sure of the features of the scale which are reliability and stability. The researcher has also verified the psychometric represented by the validity. The researcher used for this end the apparent validity, and the reliability. He also verified the stability of the scale by were 0.87 in re - testing and retail midterm. After correction with Spearman Brown which is a good indicator of a reliability coefficient.In order to achieve the objective the researcher used an training program To increase the motivation to learn according to the social learning theory using some strategies and methods. The program is made up of (14) cessions as three sessions, the duration per each (45) minutes and for the experimental group without the control. This program was shown to the judges and specialists in education, psychology and consultation. They affirmed the validity of this program.The researcher used the following statistical means (Pearson correlation coefficient - Spearman - Brown - half - division - Mann - Whitney test - Chi square - t - test for two independent samples - Wilcoxon test).The result showed that the students who are slow learners have low motivation to learn positively changed after the application of a tutorial on the two groups. There were statistically significant differences between the experiment and the control group. Results reflect the impact of a training program for students of slow learners - low motivation to learn

The current research community specified by the students mail of first grade on intermediate school in Al - Nahdha intermediate school for boys for the academic year (2013 - 2014) amounting (183 students ) distributed on for classes ( a, b, c, d )using the experimental and control groups , one control the other restraint partially with post - test to measure achievement , the processes of science randomly on the four classes (a, b , c , d) the appointment of random selected Divisions (c , d) two sets of search , as randomly assigned (c ) to be a control group , and (d ) an experimental group. After set aside the failures the stududents number at the two groups (85) demanded by (43) students of the experimental group and 42 students for the control group , rewarded groups in the variables (intelligence, previous information , former educational achievements, the pre - test for science operations), the scientific object identified by the first three chapters of the chemistry book second edition for the academic year 2010 , applied experience in the first semester of the academic year ( 2013 - 2014 ), and the researcher taught the two sets of research by himself and prepared lesson plans necessary which was (24) plan the experimental group , and the same for the control group formulated behavioral objectives for the three chapters , numbered (200) target behaviorally representative of the first five levels of Bloom's Taxonomy of cognitive field respectively (remember , absorb , application , analysis,installation), either for research tools has a promising achievement test which consisted of (43) objective paragraphof type test of several numeric, and atest to measure the basic chemical procedures content of (30) objective items of multaple choicestest representing (observation, measurement, classification, inference , prediction, communication ), has been to make sure the veracity of the two tools and confirming by using equation of Keodr Richardson20 for the test grades, test processes of science and the rate of persistence subsequently (0.79 - 0. 83) and showed the results of research using (Z - test) for two independent samples which was equal size to the following : 1) The superiority of the experimental group students who studied the specimen according to Jordon on the learning control group students who studied according to the usual way in the achievement test , as it amounted to (Z) calculated (3.70) , while the value of (Z) spreadsheet (2.000) at the level of (0.05).2) The superiority of the experimental group who studied according to Jordon on the learning control group students who studied according to the usual way to test the acquisition of knowledge , as it amounted to (Z) calculated ( 4.98 ) , while the value of (Z) spreadsheet (2.000) when the level of significance (0.05).Therefore given number of recommendations, including the need to interest the capabilities of students in order to help them to learn the skills of scientific thinking and the acquisition of its operations by organizing the teaching content of Chemistry to turn problem helps to make decisions of the appropriate task , based on that the researcher presented to conduct similar research to the current search in chemistry and science object for other object in other studying stages as if the secondary or university level (colleges of Education , Basic Education) and especially in the scientific departments of studies.

To rerify the null hypothesis, the researcher has made the experiment on the fourth grad female students and has a dopted the partial experimental design of the pre - test for both experimental and control groups. The researcher has intenailly chosen ( AL - Adnania secondry school for girls ) in order to apply the eaperiement and has randomly chosen section ( A ) to be the experiemental group while section ( B ) to be the control group. The sample of the research consists of ( 72 ) students divided( 36 ) students for both groups.The researcher has equalized the variables of both groups by using t - test ( JQ test , the previous achievement in math material , previous know ledy).The researcher has chosen the teaching material which the researcher will teuch during the experiment then the researcher has set the behaviorstic obiectives and has prepeared the lesson for them. After that the researcher shows the lesson plan to a jury member then the researcher has made the required amendments in order to be neady for use.The researcher has made a creative test which consists of ( 20 items ) The reliabily and validity have been rerified and the diffculty level with the discrimination power of the test have been calculated. The researcher has used ( kudar ) equation - Richardson ( K - R21 ) to calculate the reliability of the creative thinking test. The researcher has used the ( t - test ) for equal separated sample to treat the date. Here are the following results : There are statistical significant differences at ( 0, 05 ) level of significance between the mean scores of the both groups and it was in favor of the experimental group in the creative thinking test. The researcher has concluded that the ( swom strategy) has a positive effect in the creative thinking of math material. The researcher has recommended to adopt the(swom strategy) in teaching because it has a great effect on developing the creative thinking and encourage teachers to pay a great attention to creative thinking because it is regarded as mental activity that helps in making learning process a matter of application. In order to achieve the study aim, the following two null hypotheses were formulated : 1. There is no statistically significant difference at (0.05) significance level between the mean score of the experimental group students who were taught by the synectics strategy and the mean score of the control group students who were taught by the usual method employed for geometric thinking in mathematics. 2. There is no statistically significant difference at (0.05) significance level between the mean score of the experimental group students who were taught by the synectics strategy and the mean score of the control group students who were taught by the usual method employed for problem solving tests. The study population consisted of second intermediate stage female students in daytime intermediate schools of Diyala Directorate of Education for the academic year (2014 - 2015). The study sample included (51) female students chosen deliberately from Um Al - Baneen Intermediate School for Girls. The sample was divided into two groups : an experimental group consisting of (26) students taught by the synectics strategy and a control group consisting of (25) students taught by the usual method. The two groups were equalized in terms of all variables : previous achievement in mathematics, previous knowledge test, IQ test, age calculated in months, and parents’ academic achievement. In order to achieve the aim of the study, the researcher devised a geometric thinking test consisting of (40) multiple - choice items. The test items’ validity and reliability were verified. The researcher also made a problem - solving test containing (14) essay questions, the validity and reliability of which were verified also. The experiment was conducted to both of the study groups. The researcher herself taught the experimental group by the synectics strategy and the control group by the usual method. Having finished teaching the three chapters : plane geometry, coordinate geometry, and solid geometry, the researcher applied the two tools to both groups, and the necessary statistical processing was done by using the t - test of two independent samples. The results indicated the following : 1. There was a statistically significant difference between the mean score of the two groups in the geometric thinking test as a whole, as well as in every one of Van Hiele’s levels of geometric thinking (visualization, analysis, rigor and deduction) in favor of the experimental group which had been taught by the synectics strategy. 2. There was a statistically significance difference between the mean score of the two groups in the problem - solving test as a whole as well as in each of the four patterns : reason stating pattern, proof with figure and text pattern, calculation pattern and numerical problems pattern, in favor of the experimental group which had been taught by the synectics strategy. 3. There was no statistically significant difference between the mean score of the two groups in the patterns of proof completion and textual problems of the problem - solving test. The researcher reached a number of conclusions, most notable among them was the positive effect of synectics strategy on the variables of geometric thinking and problem solving. The researcher also presented a number of recommendations and suggestions for future studies in this field.

Abstract: The present research aims at (adjusting the content of mathematics textbooks in the intermediate stage in the light of the international quality standards from the point of view of teachers). In order to achieve this aim, the researcher has used the descriptive analytical approach in this research. The population of the research consists of the male and female teachers who teach mathematics for the first, second and third intermediate classes in Dyala governorate. However, the population of the present research consists of (300) teachers where (50%) of the original population is chosen randomly categorically to represent the sample of the research, namely (150) male and female teachers.The researcher has determined the international standards for the first, second and third intermediate classes through comparing the goals and the mathematics textbooks of the intermediate stage in Iraq with the international standards in order to determine the standards specific for each class in the intermediate stage so that, we can determine the availability of the international standards in these curricula through introducing a pilot questionnaire to a number of experts as well as through exploring the educational literature, modern standards, and the international standards of mathematics represented by the standards of The American National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (N.C.T.M.). Where the tool of the research is a questionnaire that consists of four fields namely, (numbers and the operations : algebra, relations, geometry and measurements, data analysis and statistics and probability). They involve (14) criteria and (95) indicators for the first intermediate class; (71) indicators for the second intermediate class and (61) indicators for the third intermediate class. They are ascertained by using face validity, construction validity and by using Alpha Cronbach formula where the average reliability coefficient for the first class is (0.96), for the second class is (0.94) and for the third class is (0.94).The content analysis for the mathematics textbooks of the intermediate classes has been conducted by using a questionnaire with two alternatives (available and not available). Where the dataof content analysis has been manipulated according to the teacher opinions by using Chai square in order to know the degree of the criteria availability and then depending on the available criteria in order to make adjusting on them according to a questionnaire with three alternatives (often, sometimes and rarely). The data of adjusting the content has been treated according to the teachers' opinions by using the weighted average and the percentile weight in order to know the percentage of the availability of the international standards.The number of the available indicators for the first intermediate class is (36); for the second intermediate class is (21) and for the third intermediate class is (19) indicators. In the light of the afore - mentioned results, they has stated the following : 1 - The percentage of the international standards availability is nearly about (30% - 38%) in terms of the international standards.2 - The little available percentage of international standards attain the quality with different percentage extend from (82%) to (95%).In the light of the research results, the researcher has put forward a number of recommendations, the most important of which are : 1 - Re - considering the mathematics textbooks in the intermediate stage so that they can be in accordance with the international standards.2 - Taking into consideration the unavailable standards according the research results that appear in low percentages and trying to incorporate them in mathematics textbooks.Finally, the researcher has put a number of suggestions, such as, conducting a periodical and continuous adjusting for mathematics textbooks in the intermediate and secondary schools according to the international standard quality.

There is no statistically significant difference between the mean scores arranged on the children of the experimental group habit of questioning and posing problems in the post - test variable according to sex.The research sample was selected by randomly method, and consisted of (60) children, aged (5 - 6 )years from a preliminary stage, was selected kindergarten (Al - Nesrein) in Baghdad - Iraq intentional way, the sample was divided into two groups, braved the experimental group (30 ) boys and a girls, (15) males and (15) females, and a control group of (30) boys and girls, (15) males (15) females.To achieve the aims of research, the researcher building research tools of : an educational program for the habits of mind, was used the mental habits of the following (habits of imagination and perception, habit using of the senses to collect data, the habit of thinking flexibly, habit of questioning and posing problems), and being from (25) learning lessons and verification of honesty virtual viewing on a group of arbitrators from specialists in educational and psychological sciences, and build a test of the habits of the mind, which consists of a collection of stories, which contain (6) questions and each question two alternatives to choose from the child and the answer by (yes, no) were verified the validity and reliability testing.the educational program for the year 2013 - 2014 was applied to the habits of the children of the experimental group did not apply to the children of the control group, after the completion of the application program, theresearcher applying the post - test for the two experimental and control groups, and after the completion of the application program, the researcher applying the post - test for the two experimental and control groups to test the habits of mind, data were analyzed and processed statistically using test Man - Whitney growth and reached the following conclusions : 1 - There is statistically significant difference between the mean scores of children group experimental children and the control group on the habits of mind of the four (Use senses to gather data, imagination and perception, thinking flexibly, questioning and posing problems) in the post tests. 2 - No statistically significant difference between the medium and arranged scores males and females on the four habits of mind (to use the senses to gather imagination and perception, thinking flexibly, questioning and posing problems) in the post - test.And an update of the current research has reached a researcher to a series of recommendations : 1 - Attention to the development of habits of mind and included in the curriculum unit interactive experience overall integrated kindergarten teachers in iraq. 2 - Development of private institutes and centers to develop the habits of mind along the lines of the Institute (Costa) and (Kallick) to the habits of the mind in order to keep abreast of developments in the curricula followed in developed countries.The researcher has proposed a number of research, including : - 1 - a study on the habits of the mind and its relationship with the multi balzkqouat kindergarten children. 2 - a study on the habits of the mind and its relationship with the skills to solve problems for the children of kindergarten.

The research objectives are : 1 - Educational development of a kinetic for kindergarten children age 4 - 5 years. 2 - Identification of the impact of the curriculum in creative thinking for the children of male and female age 4 - 5 years. 3 - Identify the impact of the curriculum in the perception of sense - activist for children of male and female age 4 - 5 years. The research hypotheses are : 1 - There are no statistically significant differences between values of tribal test and the values of dimensional test of creative thinking for the two experimental and control groups in kindergarten of children aged 4 - 5 years.2 - No statistically significant differences between values of dimensional test of the experimental group and the values of control group creative thinking among children of kindergarten aged 4 - 5 years. 3 - There are no statistically significant differences between values of tribal test and the values of dimensional test of creative thinking for the two experimental and control groups for both males and females in children of kindergarten aged 4 - 5 years.4 - No statistically significant differences between the values of dimensional test for experimental group and test values of control group in creative thinking for both males and females in kindergarten of children aged 4 - 5years. 5 - No statistically significant differences between values of tribal test and the values of dimensional test in awareness of sense - activist of the two experimental and control groups in kindergarten of children aged 4 - 5 years. 6 - No statistically significant differences between the values of dimensional test for experimental group and values of dimensional test for control group in awareness of sense - activist in kindergarten children aged 4 - 5 years. 7 - No statistically significant differences between values of tribal test and the values of dimensional test for awareness of sense - activist of the two experimental and control groups for both males and females in kindergarten of children aged 4 - 5 years. 8 - No statistically significant differences between the values of dimensional test for experimental group and values of dimensional test for control group in awareness of sense - activist for both males and females in kindergarten of children aged 4 - 5 years. Chapter two : Theoretical and previous studies. This section included two theoretical studies dealt with the identification of kinetic Education and its objectives and identify the characteristics of creative thinking, and a sense concept and the concept of perception and identification of sense - activist and how it occurs and to identify kindergarten and objectives related with, the second section has been included in three previous studies. Chapter three : research methodology and Field proceduresThis chapter has included on curriculum of research and field procedures. It use experimental curriculum. The sample of research selected by intentional manner and has (40) children divided into two, experimental and control groups, and (20) children per each group. Chapter four : presentation of results, analysis and discussion This chapter included in the presentation, analysis and discussion of test results for dimensional and tribal groups. Chapter five : Conclusions and recommendations Conclusions : 1 - The curriculum prepared by the researcher had a positive impact in the development of creative thinking and perception of sense - activist to kindergarten of children aged 4 - 5 years.2 - The use of the exercises that develop creative thinking in kinetic education study with games, which develop of awareness of sense - activist showed coherent and effective in the development of the child in each of the variables. 3 - An curriculum showed diversity in the Performance which helped to open prospects for creativity in children and the development of their awareness. 4 - develop creative thinking and perception of sense - activist if they have the proper environment and the conditions and possibilities of convenience.5 - The games, which was exercised by children in a control group showed little creative thinking and perception of sense - activist to them. Recommendations : 1 - mainstream curriculum prepared by the researcher on the kindergarten for his role in the development of creative thinking and perception of sense - activist of the contribution the development of creativity and development capabilities of awareness sense - activist in this important period of a child's life. 2 - Emphasized the importance of studying kinetic education and work on the diversity of games that use it. 3 - Work to conduct similar studies that use two variables or more and work to develop education through the study of kinetic education

For check the aims of the research the researcher put the following hypotheses : A - There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of children of the experimental group and the average scores of the control group of children on a scale of citizenship in the post - test. B - There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group of children on a scale of citizenship in the post - test to the variable sex (male - female). C - There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of children in the experimental group pretest and post test. - Size of effect : - The sample consisted of (60) boys and girls ,who are age 5 - 6 years (primer phase) in Al - Nesoor kindergarten by deliberate manner in the Baghdad education directorate /Rusafa 2 were distributed to children the sample into two groups : experimental and control evenly, included the experimental group (30) boys and girls, (15) children of the male ,and (15) children of the female as well as the control group (30) boys and girls (15) children of females ,and (15) children of male.The groups were chosen by simple and random way , and the researcher rewarded among members of the experimental and control groups in the variables (academic degree for the father, the academic degree of mother, using of computer and internet marks of children at citizenship , marks of moral intelligence). In order to achieve the goals of research the researcher built a barometer to identify the citizenship among kindergarten children, and an educational program based on the virtues of moral intelligence to development of citizenship in children, and building scale moral intelligence of equivalence, and the researcher used experimental design with experimental and control groups with a pre and post test. The data were analyzed statistically using statistical pouch (SPSS) and reach to the following results : - There were statistically significant differences between the average scores of children of the experimental group and the average scores of the control group of children on a scale of citizenship in the post - test. - There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group of children on a scale of citizenship in the post - test are attributable to variable sex (male - female). - There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group of children on a scale of citizenship in the pre and post tests. - The independent variable of the educational program has a significant impact on the dependent variable measure of citizenship.

Due to the educational findings which clearly show that there are some weaknesses in the reading comprehension ability of foreign language learners throughout all the academic stages(including the intermediate stage). English foreign language teachers in Iraq complain of their students' low ability in reading comprehension, especially in answering higher level questions. To overcome this problem, the 'using Questioning Techniques' are suggested to activate learners' both lower and higher levels of cognitive skills and urge them to use their background knowledge to interact with the text, and to enable teachers to involve their students in a complemented interactive process in the classroom. Hence, the present study aims at empirically investigating using questioning techniques (using the lower level of questions) on EFL second intermediate school' achievement in reading comprehension. To achieve the aim of the study, it is hypothesized that there is no statistically significant difference between the scores of the experimental group who is taught according to Bloom's levels of questioning and the control group who is taught according to the classical teaching method. To verify this hypothesis, a pre - posttest experiment has been designed. Eighty - one second - grade Intermediate male students are assigned to the experimental and control groups, 40 students are for the experimental group and 41students also are for the control group. Both groups are statistically equalized in a number of variables such as age, parents' level of education, student's intelligence level, students' scores in English in the previous year, and students' scores obtained on the pretest. The experimental group has been reading comprehension by using Bloom's levels of questioning whereas the control group is taught by the Classical Teaching Method (i.e., currently - followed method),.The method has been recommended in the teacher's guide for Book 6. The experiment is conducted in Zain Al - Abideen Intermediate School for Boys, and lasted for two months in the academic year 2012 - 2013.After administering the posttest, the results obtained show indicate clearly that the achievement of the experimental group who were taught by using Bloom's levels of questioning has been higher than that of the control group who was taught by the classical teaching method. In other words, Bloom's levels of questioning is more effective than the classical method. Due to the results obtained from this study, a number of conclusions has been come up with, among which the most important ones are : 1. Teaching literary section according to Bloom's levels of questions in RC gives the students the opportunity to comprehend so many vocabularies and to increase their vocabularies store. This leads to generate many ideas concerning one subject, and widen their imagination.2. Bloom's levels of questioning have proven to be an effective and useful ones for using questioning techniques because they enable the teacher to guide and evaluate the students’ progress from one level to another in a gradual manner. 3. Literature helps students to be well - quainter with the English culture which in turn expands their skills, culture knowledge.Also, Recommendations and suggestions for further studies have been put forward.

For this leader to perform his duty perfectly, he should be supplied with all different teaching components and means. The teacher was described as the cornerstone for the teaching and educational process and with him that educational process gets straight and reaches its goals. Hence, the teacher should be prepared and trained during his service for its great role in nourishing the educational process. The current thesis aimed at : 1 - Preparing a training program to acquire mathematics teaching skills to the fifth class primary school teachers whom service period is no less than three years. 2 - Identifying the effect of the training program on mathematics teachers' performance through the investigation of the following two hypotheses : a - There is no statistical significant difference between the mean scores of teachers on whom the training program was applied (the experimental group) and the mean scores of teachers on whom the training program was not applied (the control group) when the (post) performance form was applied at (0.05) level. b - There is no statistical significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group who were submitted to the (post) training program and their mean scores before the application of the (pre) program on them at (0.05) level. The study population was comprised of four sectors including (151) male and female teachers within the Directorate of Missan Education. The study sample was confined on fifth class primary mathematics teachers for the study year 2007 - 2008. The basic sample mounted (50) male and female teachers within the Directorate of Missan Education. The research tool was applied on them which was a mere performance form prepared by the research through his overlooking some previous studies and conducting an open questionnaire to a group of professors specialized in mathematics and psychology teaching methods. Through their opinions, he prepared a list of skills comprised of (42) skills distributed on three fields (planning, execution and assessment). After being sure of their validity by exposing them on a group of experts, more than 80% of what was agreed on was accepted and the skills which did not achieve that were refused. In addition, the experts added a number of skills which made their final number (44) skills distributed on three fields (planning, execution and assessment). Their reliability was assured of by using Pearson correlation coefficient where the general mean of reliability coefficient was (70%), so the tool was ready for application. To identify the number of skills where teachers' performance was (weak, strong), the researcher used the statistical means to extract the preference medium and percentage weight; therefore, he obtained (23) skills valued positively representing (strength aspects) and (21) skills valued negatively representing (weakness aspects) in teachers' performance. These skills represented the actual training requirements of mathematics teachers. To apply the program, he divided the basic research sample (50) male and female teachers into two groups randomly; an experimental group including (25) male and female teachers and a control group with the same number. To achieve the equivalence between both groups according to (service, certificate and performance) variables, the researcher used Chi - square to identify the difference significance between the two groups regarding (service and certificate) variables and used the (t - test) for two independent samples regarding the scores of (performance form) variable. He prepared a training program to acquire the teaching skills to mathematics teachers and to identify the effect of the training program of acquiring teaching skills on teachers' performance through the investigating the validity of the two following hypotheses : There was no statistical significant difference between the mean scores of the two groups (the experimental and control groups) in performance. The researcher used the (t - test) for two independent samples as a post application where the results showed there was a statistical significant difference at (0.05) significance level for the interest of the experimental group. To examine the hypothesis saying there was no statistical significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group (pre) and the mean scores of the experimental group (post) in teaching skills according to the performance form. The researcher used the (t - test) for two correlated samples where the results showed there was a statistical significant difference at (0.05) significance level for the interest of the experimental group after the application of the training program. Hence, the researcherrecommended the necessity to depend on the training program in the courses done by the Directorate of Education for mathematics teachers during service and the supervisors' utilization of the program and performance form in evaluating the teachers' work.

Abstract: Critical thinking is an important everyday activity. Every time we have to make a decision, the process we go through involves critical thinking. Nowadays, critical thinking is one of the major concepts under consideration in education.Reading has also been considered one of the most important skills in EFL/ESL context. Hence, the integration of critical thinking and reading could be most effective to learners. To develop students' critical reading ability is a major goal in reading instruction.Considering the substantial roles of EFL/ESL reading comprehension and critical thinking skills, it can be noted that these two variables are required for students to succeed in academic English settings.In line with the studies confirming the positive relationship between critical thinking ability and language proficiency, this study intendes to investigate the relationship between the EFL college students' critical thinking and their performance in reading comprehension. Hence, the present study aims at : 1 - measuring EFL college students' critical thinking skills;2 - measuring EFL college students' reading comprehension performance;3 - finding out the relationship between students' critical thinking skills on one hand and their performance in reading comprehension on the other; and4 - investigating whether gender makes difference in the relationship between critical thinking and reading comprehension.To achieve the aims of the study, four null hypotheses have been stated as follows : 1 - Third - year EFL college students' level on the critical thinking test is average.2 - Third - year EFL college students' performance on the reading comprehension test is average.3 - There is no statistically significant relationship between Iraqi EFL students' critical thinking and reading comprehension performance.4 - There is no statistically significant difference in the relationship between Iraqi EFL students' critical thinking and reading comprehension performance according to the gender variable. A random sample of third - year college students enrolled for the academic year (2013 - 2014) has been selected. The number of participants is 62 representing 30 % of the total population.In order to fulfil the aims of the study and to test its hypotheses, two instruments have been adopted for data gathering; Watson - Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal (WGCTA) Test and astandardized Reading Comprehension Test. The instruments are exposed to a jury of experts for the purpose of ascertaining their face and content validity. They have validated the items and suggested some modifications. After a pilot administration of the instruments, their reliability is calculated by the split - half method for the (WGCTA) Test, and the mark - remark method for the reading comprehension test, yielding reliability coefficients of 0.72 and 0.81 respectively. The discriminatory powers and difficulty level of the instruments' items are also computed.After the final administration of the study instruments, the major findings are : 1 - Third year EFL college students' performance on the critical thinking test is average.2 - The students have average level in some CT subskills; Interpretation and Evaluation of Arguments, but they are weak on others; Inference, Recognition of Assumptions and Deduction. 3 - Third year EFL college students' performance on the reading comprehension test is average. 4 - The students' performance on the lower order thinking level is average, whereas their performance on the higher order thinking level is below average.5 - There is a positive significant relationship between Iraqi EFL students' critical thinking skills and reading comprehension performance.6 - There are no statistically significant differences between critical thinking and reading comprehension due to the gender variable.In the light of the results obtained, a number of pedagogicalimplications and recommendations concerned with textbooks designers, teachers, and learners are put forward. Also, several suggestions for further studies are proposed to enrich this area of investigation.

Drafted a researcher (90) goals and prepared lesson plans, offered by the group of experts and arbitrators, then prepared a test to measure reading comprehension be of (40) items distributed on four questions distinguish valid and reliable test and objectivity The researcher used the following statistical methods : Unilateral analysis of variance, and Chi - square, paragraph equation difficulty, discriminatory power, the effectiveness of alternatives Error, Pearson correlation coefficient, Cronbach's alpha equation Scheffe method for multiple budgets. The study found the following results : Higher than the second experimental group students studied follows the strategy of using the second style guide expectations on students follows the first group studied using a strategy guide expectations the first pattern and the female control group studied it follows the usual way in Reading Comprehension. Superiority students follows the experimental group first studied using the first style guide expectations strategy the students studied follows the control group using the usual method in Reading Comprehension. In light of the research findings as a result of the researcher to several conclusions, including : 1 - Guide expectations the first pattern and the second strategy style makes the student learning process and this is what the focus advocated by modern trends in teaching.2 - Allowed this guide expectations the first pattern and the second pattern formation for the students positive interaction result of increased personal contact strategy among themselves, and by raising questions and asking opinions and express their views, creating intimacy and interaction among them.The researcher recommended a number of recommendations including : 1 - For teachers need reading material on the foundations of modern strategies and steps, in particular the guide expectations first pattern and the second pattern strategy, through educational courses or seminars, publications own.2 - To encourage educational institutions and research centers to apply guide expectations first pattern and the second pattern strategy within the activities and exercises in the school curriculum materials and everyday situations. Abstract: تهدف هذه الدراسة الى تقويم كتب اللغة العربية للمرحلة المتوسطة في اقليم كردستان العراق على وفق معايير الكتاب الجيد من وجهة نظر مدرسي المادة ومدرساتها، والتعرف على الفروق ذوات الدلالة الاحصائية في تقويم كتب اللغة العربية للمرحلة المتوسطة في اقليم كردستان ا | The present study aimed to build a criteria to evaluate the Arabic language books for the stage in the middle of the Kurdistan region in accordance with the standards of a good book, and calendar as well as the Arabic language books for the intermediate stage from the viewpoint of teachers and Madrsadtha article according to the standards of a good textbook. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach, because the descriptive research aims to describe phenomena or events or certain things, gather information and facts and observations about them. Included community study the original Arabic language teachers and Madrsadtha in middle school to the Kurdistan region of Iraq for the academic year (2013 - 2014) as numbered (1787), a teacher and a school, divided into directorates of the Kurdistan region were divided by (672) as a teacher and a school in the Directorate of Education in Arbil, and the number of teachers (297) as a teacher and the number of teachers (375) schools, and (604) as a teacher and a school for the Directorate of Sulaymaniyah by 264 teachers and 340 schools and 426 teachers and a school for the Directorate of Education in Dohuk and by (190) teachers and (236) School and a last resort (85 ) as a teacher and a school for the Directorate of Education Ckramaan and by (32) teachers and (53) School, the study sample was included by (16.79) from the research community and by 115 teachers and 185 schools were divided according to grade levels and by (100) Instructor and a school for each grade level as the number of teachers for grades seven (40) teachers and (60) School and (30) teacher (70), eighth - grade teacher and (45) teachers and (55) School for the ninth grade, and thus the total sample size (300 ) and a school teacher. The researcher built a scale for the purpose of evaluating the textbook included six areas : (Goals of the book, the content of the book, the setting and authoring, language, format, Calendar) as the researcher has formulated a number of questions to cover all of these areas, taking into account the clarity and precision. The study came up with a number of findings, including : 1. The Arabic language books for the stage in the middle of the Kurdistan region of Iraq Ataatcef quality desired. 2. There is significant interest in the language of the author of books for the Arabic language stems from the authors' belief in the language of the Quran, a Hafiz her secret eloquent as well as her artistic output. 3. twice the capacity of teaching Arabic language books for the stage in the middle of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, the drafting of behavioral objectives because the teacher is not interested in the formulation of the overall objectives. 4. The Arabic language in the Kurdistan region of Iraq is of secondary materials, has not received the attention like other materials. The study came out a number of recommendations, including : 5. A good book to adopt standards prepared by the researcher as a basis to evaluate the Arabic language books in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. 6. the need for a committee of authors all the terms of reference when authoring the textbook. 7. The need to formulate new goals commensurate with modern trends and keep pace with the evolution into account derived from the correct sources. 8. The need to introduce Arabic language teachers and Madrsadtha in the Kurdistan region of Iraq courses teaching methods and modern methods.

The thesis includes five chapter : Chapter One : Introduction Sine college students represent one of the most important social fabric in society , who would actively contribute in developing it and implement the development plans. The academic education became a vital need for different jobs and professional therefore, the students personalities should not have high level of anxiety as anxiety represents one of the main reasons of ill performance, and it also results in mis adaptation which in its tern lends to abnormal the physical performance. Therefore , special instructive and treatment programs for the students who suffers and un justified high levels of anxiety. The problem of the study is represented by the following : The relation between the levels of anxiety for the students in the college of physical education and their performance in the practical education.Aims of the Study 1 - Identifying the level of anxiety for fourth year students in the college of physical education - university of mayssan.2 - Identifying the level of performance for the fourth year students in practical education in schools.3 - Identifying the strength and direction of the relation between anxiety and performance in the practical education.Hypotheses of the Study 1 - There is no statistically significant difference at ( 0.05) level in the anxiety degrees according to levels (higher - middle - tower).2 - There is no meaningful difference in anxiety level between male and female students.3 - There is no meaningful difference in performance level in practical education between male and female students.4 - There is no meaningful difference between anxiety and performance in practical education for male and female students in the college of physical education - university of Mayssan.The domain of the study in includes : 1 - The human domain : a sample from the fourth year student in the college of physical education in mayssan university.2 - Special domain : university of mayssan - college of physical education.3 - Temporal domain : the second term of the academic year 2008 - 2009.Chapter Two : This chapter deals with two aspects, the first one touches upon the theoretical studies which deals with the theories discussing the concept of anxiety its aspects and levels as well as the concept of performance and the factors that affect it , in addition to the practical education , its objective and its preparatory stages. The tried to focus on the studies that discuss. The relation between anxiety and the skillful physical performance or the level of education.Chapter Three : This chapter investigates the methodology and the field procedures used in this study. The descriptive methodology is used following the alternating relations because it conforms to the nature of the studies. In order to attain the aims of study the researcher built an anxiety scale after providing a definition and description to the concept both theoretically and procedurally (65) items were prepared to include the behavioral domain of anxiety. After the study being examined by experts in psychology and measurement and evaluation , (50) items were kept which gained the approval of (80%) of the experts. In the light of logical examination of experts the clear comprehension and instruction of the scale were made sure of. The scale was applied to a sample composed of (30) male and female student who were selected randomly. The items were statistically analyzed to calculate their differentiate strength and truth factors after applying the anxiety scale on a sample composed of (200) male and female students (40) item gained good differentiatial and truth factors at level (0.05) , as such the scale finally included (40) item while performance scale for practical education which was originally made by Bidur Al - Mutaw'a (2006) was modified in terms of domains asthey were reduced from (6) to (5) and interns of the items which were also reduced from (45) to (40) based on the experts recommendations. The two scales were applied in their final formulas on the study sample which is composed of (170) students, then the answers were analyzed statistically and the average were calculated , the researcher used the statistical program (Spss) and the suitable statistical means to attain the aims of the study.Chapter Four : This chapter includes the findings which the researcher arrived at which in their turn were analyzed and interpreted in the linght of the study aims.Chapter Five : Conclusion : 1 - High level of anxiety for the fourth year students in the college of physical education.2 - Relatively good performance in practical education for the student of physical education.3 - There is an inverse relation between anxiety and performance in partical education for the students of physical education.4 - There is no statistically significant difference among the three level of anxiety according to gender and performance.Recommendation : 1 - The researcher recommends making use of the study scale (anxiety and performance) as it enjoys good psychometric characteristic.2 - He also recommends making use of student selection in certain academic especial ties and identifying the students that have different levels of anxiety in order to instruct and represent then. Suggestions : 1 - In order to develop this study , the researcher suggests making further studies on different sample and communities.2 - Identifying the reasons that result in high levels of anxiety in order to develop special programs that could either decrease or overcome anxiety
