Abstract: This Research will be on the basis of modem linguistic study, in which the semantic considered to be a part of it because it the connection tool between the intentional activity of the language and the social activity of it (language) , therefore , the study of the linguistic research has referred in the light of Semantic due to the semantic affect of the interpretation of linguistic phenomena which has so much connection ith the topic of researching in Holly Qur'an , consequently , the study as based on three inseparable main foundations , and they are : Linguistic Study, Semantic and guidance in Holly Qur'an and for at reason I have entitled my research as "Guidance in holly Qur'an, a inguistic study in the light of Semantic". The nature of the research has to led us to divide the research to be onsist of (the preliminary preface, and two chapters; each chapter deals ith one level of language levels , and each chapter divided into three b - researches followed by conclusion and the outcomes of the research. The researcher has found out that, the phonetic level of phonetic tructure of the word ( Hedi) Guidance and phonetic syllables ( reviously & later ) and phonetic extension, have semantic functions that eveal the fact of Guidance in Holly Qur'an. As for morphological level e research showed the connected relationship between morphological level and linguistic context in determine the tense semantic for the Guidance (Hedaia) actions throughout the interchangeable relationship between formulation tense and contextual tense in addition to analyze some linguistic phenomena and the semantic that included in the source of (Guidance) and the derivations represented by participle and deferential verbs. In grammatical level, the research reviewed the connected relationship between grammatical level and semantic in causing the variety of transitiveness of (Guidance) action to its object, and determine the places of omissions and assessments of grammatical structures beside what some letters of meaning indicates of semantics. Some important matters the research reviewed in semantic level are the multi meanings of Guidance in Holly Qur'an and the transmission of those meanings to include other intonation have included in the meaning of (Guidance) and most of these meaningscannot be recognized unless you have to go back to the references of interpretation and some linguistic books.As for the research resources, the researcher depended mostly on ALManhal interpretation of his scientific material beside the phonetic books, morphological, grammatical, semantic books and some academic books. The researcher depends on TransformationalGenerative Approach in his study since the beginning of first level of his study, and this approach has led to shed a light on surface structure of language and then go through the deep structure of the language and then refer to some examples with mentioning their places in Holly Qur'an and put footnotes with their sources. After the this trip of science , I have to say that this humble work is the outcome of efforts and agony of linguistic research and the message which express of something of researcher's attempts in conclusion and connect the linguistic base with semantics and the semantic reflections resulted from that which has semantic affects in the meaning of (Guidance ).These are a primary attempts I have did my best make it correct and right in its implications, and if I have stumbled in my steps, my excuse will be that I am still in the beginning of the road seeking the truth and rightness.

Abstract: This study is entitled " Surat Mariam : A Linguistic study". It has come as a result for what we have taken in our courses of linguistic approaches that covered up structuralism, TGG and syllogistics. Though these approaches \..4.... '.!·"~ a European : ..... ~..... s~i<l>"',they were by origin related to Arab heritag~ in general and to Abu Othman b'i,., Geni, the pioneer of linguistic studies in Arabic, in particular. These approaches help u.i;, to study literary texts on four levels - photentic., morphological, syntactical and Semantic - The study includes four chapters. The First is an introduction. It tackles the reason behind having " Mariam'' as a title for a complete ''Surat" in the Holy Quran it also deals with its prologue focusing the number of verses it incorporates in proportion to all verses in the Holy scripture.The second chapter tackles the phonemic impact on : ( 1) the Quranic ethythm, (2) the conveyance of meaning through the repetition of a letter, a word or a phrase, (3) the intonation of single words in relation to other words in context.Also, it highlights the significance of verse endings not only for meaning but very ' Surat'. The chapter finds out a relationship between words in their verbal forms and their meanings Chapter Three incorporates three sections. The first stresses themorphological structures of the Quranic vocabulary and their impact on differences in meaning...The second handles the semantic differences among lexicons focusing 'synonyms' as a case - study. It finds out1the Quran employs its lexions semantically in a miraculous way. The third section studies what is termed as " foreign lexicons" in the Quran. It concludes that the foreign in the Quran is what is alien to the features of Arabic language.Chapter Four deals with the relationship of syntax to semantics. It seeks account for all variations in word order, repetition or ellipsis or the use or non - use of definite or indefinite articles etc.... The chapter also attempts to elaborate on the use of'statements' in relation to the repetition of the letter 'Waw' (i.e, 'and'). It also emphasizes the significance of "brevity", circumlocution and agreement as features that go beyond stylisticsand medicine.

Abstract: he research is a critical study of "Urban Love Poetry in the Ommaiyd ge among Modem Scholars". It is a study of a general human subject ecific to a certain age, i.e. "Ommaiyd Age".It studies a special manner of love poetry, "Urban Love Poetry". It s determined by a spatial determinant which is the poets of Mecca and edineh.The poets include Omar lbn Abi Rabei'a, Al'rjee, Al Ahuas, and Al Harith Al Makhzumi. Although Omar has been studied a great deal ; the other poets have been studied in a very limited way. Most of these studies focused on the social, historical and political sides. Few or them tackled the artistic side, namely the critical one.Departing from this nation, the research plan includes an introduction, a preface, three chapters, conclusion, bibliography, and an abstract in English.The introduction first contains a theoretical entry to the Urban Love Poetry. It second studies the manners of Love Poetry in the. Ommaiyed Age : the virgin love poetry, the Urban Love Poetry, and the · traditional one. Third, the purpose behind the critical study of the Urban Love Poetry discourse in the Ommaiyed Age among modem scholars is clarified.The first chapter entitled "Urban Love Poetry in the Ommaiyed Age among Modem Scholars" (concept - the causes of currency and popularity - subjects) consists of three sections. In the first section, the axis of the concept of love poetry is studied. In the second section, the axis of currency and popularity is studied. This trend adopts the criteria of eclecticism, exposition, disclosing and analysis, documenting poetic texts, criticism of explanations and critical analyses, and critical evaluation. In the conclusion, the research uncovered that most of the opinions of critics have been inaccurate and slightly subjective. These opinions depended on classical sources like Al Aghani that contain recants that are in need of much checking and documenting. Besides, the view of the modem scholars of love poetry and its kinds need to be revised critically. The research uncovers that much of Omar Ibn Abi Rabei'a, Al'rjee, Al Ahuas', and Al Harith's poetry totally hold a mild meaning of love poetry that is to some extent of the extremely eccentric and the extremely obscene. The researcher finds out that these long tragic poems have a lot of prominent stylistic features used by the poets for affecting listeners and attracting their attentions. They implied orders, vocations, and questions. The poets also used speech repetition with all of its types.As for rhythm, the poets tended to use meters such as Al - Raml, Al - khafif, Al - Basitc, Al - Tawil, and Al - Wafir Al - Mutakarib Concerning rhyme, the poets were divided into two sides : the first who uses one rhy111e only with the letters (111, b, and L) systemas a rhyme of same Jong tragic poems. And "Nahjul Balaga " is one of them. It is considered as the most important example in making use of such sources , because the huge amount of quotations and implementations it contains.The quotations and implementations are used in " Nahjul Balaga " in two different ways ; direct and indirect ways. It is easy to understand the first one but it is difficult to attribute the second one.The way of the quotation and the implementation , Al Emam uses , shows his great ability in memorizing and the good handling of analyzing the texts.The thesis is divided into two parts : The first is entitled as " The quotation in Nahjul Balaga " and the second is " implementation in Nahjul Balaga ". Each one has three chapters The first chapter is allotted to show the kinds of both the quotations and mplementations. The second chapters sheds lights on their functions. The third one deals with the characteristics of each kind.All this is done after an introduction about the linguistic and idiomatic meanings of the quotation and the implementation and the relationship between them and the modern theory of the text. The research focus hile study the contexts on the phenomenon that stem in poetry, ch as (Anxiety, Loss, Duality of Life and Death, and Humanizing kJture). Also it explained in details the study of each henomenon. While the aesthetic structures had consisted on the ost significant structures that stated in the poetry of Majeed Al - ousawy, such as : Structure of Language, Figures/ Symbol, Music, rmation structure. It commenced with a preface which dealt with the biography the poet and his most important cultural fountains. Then the search went on in Its division when it consisted of two parts each consisted of two chapters and also each consisted of two · ctions. The first Is : (The Contexts) it has two chapters. Where the earcher paid attention to the significant phenomenon which med the contexts such as : the First section is the Anxiety and its nches and the second section is Loss and its branches (Loss in ildhood, in Nature, etc... ). Also it. vealed the phenomenon and language styles that played a role n formation of his lexicon. And the second section is entitled Figure/ Symbol). It dealt with two types of figures of Speech in oetry : they are (Fixed Figure, the Mobile Figure). Explaining their gn in the poem formation. While Symbol. The researcher dealt Ith two types. They are (Religious Symbol, and Heritage Symbol).he research revealed also how the poet exploited the sign of mbol taking it away of its real sign. Research explained how the et success in this taking away. The symbol didn't came in his etry arbitrary or irrelevant, rather it came in harmony and flow hile reading.The second chapter is consisted of two sections. The first is usic ). It dealt with the external music for the poem (Rhythm, eter). When researcher paused at some meters, then moved into e study rhythm and what it included of intruded or unify rhythm.also came across the poems of the poetic sentences and their ns and how the poets exploited the internal elements that riched him and made him pout away the rhythm. It revealed the components of the Aesthetic cture such as (Texts' Titles, Prologues, Organic Unit, and the Hogue) The researcher has get some conclusions that where indulged 1fhe end of the research under the title of (Epilogue).

Abstract: The book of Nahj Al - Balagha (The Way of Eloquence) for Imam Ali is considered one of the remarkable books; it is the words of the most eloquent among the Arab after the Prophet Mohammed. It includes many eloquent parts deserve that the researchers should stand over each part of it to be his or her own field of study, and I as a researcher hoped to have one of these parts to be my field of study to get the master degree in Arabic L4 : 111g.11agc.And in spite of the diflicultics I just encountered to deal with the texts of that holy book which requires both big knowledge and wide culture, in the favor of God and the consultntion and support of my teachers I overcome all of these.This research included five chapters and a conclusion. I discussed in the first chapter resources of the exphmative image in' Nahj Al - Bah1gha such ;1s the religious resources lilw Holy Qunm, the Prophet Sayings, the cultural resources like poetry and proverbs, and environment both natural and social.In the second chapkr I disl·ussctl the simihirily inrngc in lhat book on both sides syntactic and semantic. lu the third chapter I discussed the I urnge of Allegory and I only dealt with the main categories which arc declarative, metaphoric and scenic. Cllaptcr four has been allocated for studying the metaphoric image and I divided it into two parts : the fist is discussing the metaphoric image through the syntactical structure while the second is for studying it through words structure.In drnpl!!r five I discussed the scmanlic functions of lhc explanativc image in the Nahj, such as cxagg;cnition, bi'icfing, IJ" : wiifil : Mion, ;wd uglification. And I concluded this thesis with a summary for the most important results I reached to.The journey of the researcher with Nahj Al - Balagha was interesting an tough in the same time, through which he ma<le a precise in<luction for th resources which <lcalt with that book, but the difficulty in the subject of thi stu<ly comes from the resources which arc not available in our libraries als0 the fact that its material is disseminated in most of the libraries which arf not accessible. Abstract: The Abbasid era had witnessed the emergence of an inspiring poet who represented a unique phenomenon in its vagueness and clarity towards the conflicting poetic streams at that time. Taking this as a standpoint, we found that the thrill to discover the secrets of this vagueness in this poet would make his poetry closer to the hearer to understand his meanings, references and causes. Our study which is entitled as (The Poetry of Mansour Al - Nimry : A Thematic Artistic Study) shed lights on the hidden and revealed attitudes in his poetry. He is a distinctively problematic poet who perplexed old and modern researchers to reach the depths of the essence of his poetry. Vagueness had accompanied him all the period he spent in the palace of Haroun Al - Rasheed. The study fell into two chapters preceded by an introduction and preliminary and followed by a conclusion : The preliminary is entitled (Mansour Al - Nimry and the trends of the Abbasid poetry), in which we dealt with the trends poetry in the Abbasid era and the poet's position towards them. We highlighted Al - Nimry's poetic status and critics and researchers' opinions in his poetry. Chapter one is entitled (Thematic Structures in Mansour Al - Nimry's Poetry). It included a prelude followed by the most important themes of poetry that in his poems collection like; political praise that the poet devoted to praise the Caliph Haroun Al - Rasheed and the ruling personnel of the Abbasid State; shiism for the progeny of prophet Mohammed (Peace be Upon his and his progeny); elegizing and old age complain; description and pride; in addition to other themes like; flirtation; satire and wisdom. Chapter two is entitled as (Artistic Structures in Mansour Al - Nimry's Poetry), it consists of three sections : section one is devoted to study poetic language and poetic lexicon. It also deals with the stylistic patterns like; interrogation, vocation, command and inhibition. Then, we talked about the linguistic patterns that occupied a space in Al - Nimry's poetry. Section two studied the poetic music in its two axes; the inner and outer. Section three is devoted to the study of the poetic image and the styles of artistic imagery that the poet followed like; the figurative image and the declarative one. Depending on what was previously stated, we see the poet's employment of a variety of poetic themes, his high ability to compose the words, in addition to the wideness of his poetic lexicon, rhythmic variety, strength of artistic imagery. All these indicate the poet's culture and his openness on the cultural demands of the Abbasid era. Finally, I pray to Almighty Allah to guide me to what He loves and satisfies with. He listens and responds to the call of whoever calls unto Him.
