Abstract: - e present study deals with the political poetry in the age of B n1 Al - Ahmar (635 to 793.A.H.). It investigates the artistic char teristics of this poetry due to the i1nportance of this period in t history of Muslin1s in Andalus (Spain). Some Arab pnn s of Bani Al - Ahrnar could establish an Arab Isla111ic state that ould stand in the face of its enemies and maintain the Islai · c identity of Andalusfor a bout two and a half centuries.he study falls into two parts. Part one tackles the objective (the atic) features of the political poetry of the age. It is divi d into six chapters : appraisal ; elegy ; satire , complaint , and eseech , war poetry , help - asking poetry , and pridepoetart two sheds light on the artistic character is tics of the. The study is an attempt to keep the memory of those aders who left us more than a single memory that mortalized the Islamic Arabic existence in the Andalusian ninsula.
