These changes come to be as a natural result for the scientific, technological and industrial development in our world nowadays, which simplified life from one side and complicated it from another side. Consequently, conflicts and problems filled the societies because of the change in life style. New needs come into existence which required varied means of fulfillment and various ways of dealing with such needs in order to achieve the intended goal of convergence to accommodate with the requirements of the changeable environment. Researchers have dealt with the role of attachment in adolescents who are in need for psychological care. They found that the model of attachment in these adolescents to their parents is related to negligence and abuse especially in the case of unsafe attachment in adolescence. That's why abuse experiences, regardless of their being parental or non - parental, make a universal problem, beyond the borders of our society or any other society but rather many human societies suffer from. For this reason, it was the core many researches. The problem of abuse experiences in childhood is one of the problems that impact the development of the individual. The problem of the research can be summarized in the following question : Is there any relationship between models of attachment and abuse experiences in the childhood of students who receive individual guidance in intermediate schools? What kind of relation it is? To answer this question, the researcher adopted three main objectives : 1. Knowing the models of attachment among students who receive individual guidance in intermediate schools according to the variable of gender (male - female).2. Identifying abuse experiences in childhood among students who receive individual guidance in intermediate schools according to the variable of gender (male - female).3. Identifying the kind and direction of the relationship between the variable of the models of attachment and the variable of abuse experiences according to the variable of gender (male - female).To achieve these objectives the researcher designed two scales; one for the models of attachment and the other for abuse experiences in childhood among students who receive individual guidance in intermediate schools. In order to verify their psychometric characteristics of validity and reliability, the researcher calculated both face and content validity. In addition, he calculated the reliability of the scale for models of attachment by the test retest method and the Cronbach's Alpha to measure the internal harmony of the scale. As for the scale of abuse experiences the researcher used the test retest method and the Cronbach's Alpha to measure the reliability of the scale. After verifying the psychometric characteristics of the two scales, they were applied on the research sample which is students, who receive individual guidance in intermediate schools in Di Qar governorate, the research results have shown that : 1. The targeted research sample is not a normal sample; it suffered from problems and difficulties as it tended to adopt confused and avoiding models of attachment and an obvious decrease in adopting safe attachment model.2. A high percentage of the males of the research sample have suffered from physical abuse experiences in childhood, whereas females were more prone to speech abuse. 3. There is a positive correlative relationship between the variable of the models of attachment and the variable of abuse experiences.4. Correlation between safe attachment model and abuse experiences in childhood, in general, was negative. Whereas it was positive between confused and avoiding models of attachment and abuse experiences in childhood.In the light of the results of the study the researcher has come up with some suggestions and recommendations

Abstract: تعرض المجتمع العراقي الى العديد من الازمات والظروف السياسية، والاجتماعية والاقتصادية، من حروب، وسوء ادارة، وحصار اقتصادي، وصعوبة تدبير لقمة العيش، كذلك غياب الامن الاجتماعي، اثر كل ذلك بشكل سلبي على بنائه وتكوينه الفكري والاخلاقي.فعلى الجانب الفكري تجد ب | The Iraqi society has faced l lot political and social crises including wars, ill - administration, poor conduct, the economical siege its consequences, and above all, the absence of the social security. All these bad conditions have negatively affected the Iraqis’ morals and their ways of thinking. At the level of thinking, some figures suffer from bluntness in that one can notice them thinking in a traditional way. Thus, they become victims of rumors and superstitions. They have often been inclined to believe these kinds of biased circulations. These social rumors and superstitions may be communicated by a numbers od means such as the relatives and social media resulting in making these figures suffer from impressibility. At the moral level, capitalism, expediency and the materialistic tendencies in general have control over the humanistic and moral aspects of life, besides, the expansion of suggestibility and the deterioration of the religious and national impulses and motivations. These have resulted in weakening and destructing the moral ideology which embraces social, moral and practical values for the members of the society specially the officials who have been suffering from weakening or absence of the moral integrity. Accordingly, the aim of the study is to recognize suggestibility and integrity among the officials and to identify the individual differences in relation to tendencies to the number of years in service (lesser than five years or more between suggestibility and moral integrity. To attain the objectives of this study, an equal and random number of officials (4oo males and females) who have lesser than five years in service and more than five years.Two instruments are used in this study. The first one is manipulated to measure impressibility. The researcher has constructed a measurement for suggestibility and its psychological - metric characteristics have been attested such as the explicit honesty and the constructive one. The researcher has noticed a measurement stability via testing and retesting when the correlative factor reaches (0. 87), following cornbach’s Alpha, when the stability value reaches (0.81). appropriate statistical means are used to achieve the aims of this work and the procedures followed. The second instrument is used to measure the moral integrity when its psycho - metric feature are attested ( explicit and structural honest). The measurement stability is tested by the retesting procedure where the correlative factor reaches (0.89) following Cronbach’s Alpha where the stability value gets (0.82). The main results of this work can be summarized as in the following two points : 1) The specimen of this research enjoys a low level of suggestibility and this what enables subjects to criticize, analyze and have self - independence. They also show a considerable level of moral integrity, and of course, there are some individual diversifications from this level which is highly rejected by others officials in that they do represent the majority. 2) There is an inversely correlative relation between suggestibility and moral integrity. The researcher has recommended that the officials should be encourage to think critically and enjoying the moral integrity by holding seminars and symposiums aiming at praising and educating them. The researcher has also suggested some important things such as investigating the type of relation between the political and social levels that are liable to permissibility and moral integrity.

Abstract: The concept of Social Belonging is one of the most important central concepts of belonging in general. It determined the nature of the individual relationships with groups in all periods of time and everywhere. The importance lies in the social level because it is the excel theme of the groups without which the group loses its firmness specially the latter is group's individuals closeness, which depends on the scope of achievement of the groups to the needs of their individual since that the group did that then it can effect his thoughts and behavior. Every group has standards and values that its individuals must acquire by being one of the group and he can acquire also when belong to certain group cultural inheritance that enable him to interactive positively with his neighbors.Study Objectives : The study is aiming at the following : 1 - Verify the level of the social belonging among the students of the university.2 - Verifying methods of Social Belonging at university students as per variables (sex - specialization - stage) 3 - Designing instructional program for development of Social Belonging among students of the university.Limits of the Study : The study is restricted with a sample of community from College of education I Basra University for Academic Year 2008 - 2009.Procedures of the Study : Verifying the recent objectives of the study to use the measure (Al - Tamimy 1996) for the Social Belonging after verifying the procedures recognition validity and internal coordination and firmness for the measure when measurement is at its final format consisted of 65 paragraphs distributed among (5) aspects.The measurement is applied on the sample that consisted off 450 students (male & female) to verify the level of the feeling with Social Belonging among the students of Collage Education when the medium among the sample is (693,664) and standard deviation (9,334). When the sign was tested for the differential versus assumption medium, the statistics sign for the medium and this means that sample persons had low level somehow of the Social Belonging than that of maintaining the personal relationships with thee others, with emotional assistance and social evaluation and interesting and social comparison.As sequence to the results in the second objective, instructional program was designed according to sample steps (Dousary) for the instructional programs, after determining the needs of the individuals of the sample. The instructional sessions demonstrated according to theoretical strategies (Social Exchange) b are (simulationreincarnation - communication - realizing the role and acting for it - inspiration - social facility - social realization).Thus, throughout the results of the study, researcher recommended : 1 - Get benefit from instructional programs which are designed in this study at instructional centers and units in the university.2 - Training instructors of the stages in the university within developmental courses on using the instructional program to represent the educational context for them with students.3 - Conducting scientific synopses to shed the light on aspects of Social Belonging level reduction among students in the university and verifying reasons of it and developmental methods in feeling with the Social Belonging.4 - Bringing up students' festivals in the field of literature, sport to encourage the citizenship and the community.5 - Making students travels to the universities to enhance the unity among students.6 - Making students publications , advertisement and expressing the national products of students

The study adds a qualitative and qualitative addition to the previous studies I this field.5 - Show the future importance of such studies for researchers I the field of counseling and children with cancer.6 - Draw the attention of health establishments to use psychological counseling programmes with the patients and their families tomaintain their psychological health. The tools of the research includes the construction of a Stresses scale hich is valid and reliable. A pre test and a post test are used to identify he sample of the study in both groups. The study includes the onstruction of a family counseling programme with some group essions. It includes some selective techniques like giving instructions, iscussion, positive reinforcement, phaticcomm dramatization, union, roblem solving practice, rephrasing and self esteem practice. The rogramme lasts for one month and 24 days with 15 group sessions; two essions per week. Each session takes 45 minutes except for session one hich takes 60 minutes. The procedures of the study are determined to ee its effectiveness in achieving its aims. The postponed test is applied fter 21 days after the end of the programme to ensure the continuation of he effect of the programme. Statistics used includes Man Whitney test, ilcox test, Chi square, Pearson formula, T - test for two independent amples, Alpha - Kronbach formula and median.Statistical interpretation shoes positive changers concerning parents ith pressures during the period between the pre - test and the post - test ith significant difference in favour of those who participate in the rogramme. The experimental group are better than the control group ho have not participated in the programme. The postponed test shows he continuation of the effect of the programme. The researcher arrives at ome conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.Mandatory counseling, which is used in this research, represents one f the most effective tools in dealing with family pressures. The esearcher makes use of different techniques in counseling. It is agreed pon that there is no comprehensive theory that can interpret and analyze he individual's behaviour and motives and can deal with all his living d cultural needs.Accordingly, the research aims at investigating the Stresses found in he sample of the study according to a scale which is constructed for this urpose. Moreover, a counseling and a psychological programme 1s onstructed to see its effect concerning its purpose.The researcher adopts the experimental approach and the experimental esign for the experimental group and the control group with pre and post ests. A sample with cancer infected children is chosen. They suffer from tresses and they are all registered in the oncology department in Basrah rom 2003 to 2007. All of them are regular patients from the southern rovinces in 2008 at the department and are willing to participate in the ounseling programme. They are randomly classified into two groups : xperimental and control with l 0 individuals of parents in each.

The Primary Stage is concerned with a little part of this task which impose to consider it as an important stage within the educational stages. The Objectives of the Research : This research aims to : 1. Identify the level of counseling requirement at the primary school as per the following fields : a. Scholastic Field.b. Psychological field.c. Field of treatment manner used with the child.d. Sociology Field.e. Evaluation Field.f. Health Field2. Identify the types of counseling requirement types which arc in need to the presence of the educational counseling at the primary school as per the level of requirements for it in general and for each field of the I questionnaire separately. Identify the need of school primary for the educational counselor fro the teachers' points of view. The Scope of ResearchThis present research is determined by : 1. Primary Schools in Baghdad Governorates within Al - Rusafa and Al - Karkh Sectors.2. Girls schools only for the academic year 2003 - 2004. Methods : This questionnaire is applied on 500 female teachers from the primary schools in Baghdad governorate upon a pattern of 44. the final questionnaire is applied on a pattern of 500 female teachers from Baghdad and its suburbs after analyzing the answers of the teacher as per its repetition answers. It is got 78 phrase distributed on six fields (scholastic, profession, psychology, treatment manner used with the child, the social, environmental and health fields.)Statistical Means : It is arranged the fields of questionnaire using the probability means equation to explain the severity of this problem as it is used the percentage weights of the repetitions of the three alternatives as it is arranged the items on the field decently as per the means of the severity and the weight to verify the stability of the tools as well as arranging the items at the questionnaire in general as per the means of severity and percentage weights to confirm the stability of the tool notably it is used Person Coefficient.Results It is shown from analyzing the answers of the female teachers that the difficulties for which they expressed in the open and closed questionnaire are very much in its number as it is attached in the severity and the views of the female teachers are in vicinity of the vieV\'S of the teachers, headmasters , and Associate Headmasters in determining the most difficulties and repetitions which are divided into the fileds : (scholastic, profession, psychology, treatment manner used with the child, the social, environmental andhealth fields.) which is discussed in the last part of the thesis. Number of problems and the increase of its severity confirm clearly the real need for the counseling at the primary schools which may be increditable at the primary, intermediate and secondary schools. This case confirms that percentage showed that the consent of this need is 87°/o. Also, the severity is high in the problem of anxiety feeling in their scholastic life related with facing the problem of professionally , psychology and scholastic modification as well as the increased severity in respect of the problem of Knowledge and discovering like as it needs the more of reviews and studying objectives concerning considering the individual differences in comprehending the scholastic subjects and their academic qualifications. Extending the difficulties and problems assists inproviding a good aspect for the educational counselor to perform his duties at the primary school providing his counseling service such as pursuing the concerns of thethose who are delayed in their study , the top and superiors , and specialties who have many absence days , the orphans in addition to provide the attention to the social, artistic activities and cooperation between the counselor, the teaching staff and the administration.There arc some services in the field of psychological counseling summarized by caring and individual pursuing for the emergency cases in which the student needs the assistance of the counselor regarding to interviewing the sons of criminals, orphans and those who missed their parents or one of them and identify the ways of their modification and scholastic situations.

Abstract: An individual's need ofte indicat1;<~ in sufficieny ; and such insufficiency or need needs to be satisfied in some ways according to the importance of such a need. If the need is not satisfied, it will be an obstacle for an individual to achieveharmong with other people. Moreover , it affects him physioloically and psychologically and it will become an unhealthy condition. Knowing such needs requires availability of objective scales for measuring these needs.The study aims at constructing a scale for measuring the essential needs of the pupils at the intern1ediate stage. To my know ledge such a scale is not available upto now to measure essential needs. Hopefully this study includes the pupils at intermediate stage ( males and females ). It covers those who live Basrah city - centre for the a cademic year 2003 - 2004.The educational scale of the study has been designed upon Like1i's method since a number of alternatives can be supplied and the pupils can choose the option that seem fit or right.When the process C<?ucerned has been evaluated for the first (92) items have been formed to represent essential needs for the pupils who may respon according to 1 ( dueto ) Likert' s n1ethod "Vhich depends on three alternatives ( choices ). These itemshave been shown to· son1e professionals in psychology and educational counseling. Ten items have been eliminated due to the advice of such professionals. The scale finally has been formed including ( 82 ) items. Each respondent ( sbubject) was required to choose the alternative that he believs to be right. (420) papers (copies) of the question aire have been distributed to the subjects. Only ( 20 ) papers have been excluded for being in complete. So the number of the papers was ( 400) : All these papers have been statistically 2.naly sed. After aualysing all items and finding their significance , validity of the scale used has been proved through face validity and s tatistical one while LI reliability of the scale has been calculated by retesting another ri experimental group of pupils after certain peviod ofti1ne (about W 15 days ) between the two tests.The results of the study have shown that the - educational scale used vvas quite valid and reliable in measuring the essential needs of the pupils at intermediate stage. Thus, such a scale can be applied by the researchers and professionals to compare andmeasure essential needs of the pupils at Intermediate schools.

(public education - p.6)the Importance and need of the study 1 - The study is the first of its l(ind ·for youngsters in i1·aq.2 - The study tries - to introduce the problen1s facing young pupil and suggest solutions for them. This study is considered the base for any care program.4 - .And the program set in this Stu(ly can he applied by the educational Counselors.The Aim of the Study The Aim of the Study is to construct a Counseling program for the young pupils in the sixth grade The Limits of the Study The study is limited to : 1 - the young pupils in the sixth grade for the year (200g. 200 9 - '.2 - Basrah province center.The Stages of the Study The Sample of the study consist of (150) pupils in Basrah province Center The Analysis : 1 - The Analysis presented an open question to a san1ple of (20) pupils about their 1u·oblc1ns2 - By analyzing the pupils answers the researcher Obtained a group of items representing their problcn1s and by adding another items from the previous stages , the total items became (45 iten1s ) distributed on (6Fields) : the educational ,psychological , family ,economic and health fields.3 - In order to check the tool it was presented to a group of judges to approve its validity , and the items which had (80%) approval and 11101·e fron1. the ex11erts have been Kept and the other ite111s were neidected , and thefinal approved items were (40 ite111s) which is the final Analysis ,and a three choice balance (yes, No, I don't know) was added.4 - the analysis was repeated for - a san1ple of (20pupils)after (15 days) fro1n the first application to make sure the tool is stable and the stability factor was(%0. 79).5 - the final application after the previous procedures was applied On the final Study sa1nple of ( 90 pupils) the Explaining tools the researcher used ·the percentage ratio to calculate the experts approvals to the validity of the analysis items and the appropriate average to obtain the degree and arrangement and ( present' s Connection factor) to calculate the stability factor.The results of the study : The results include : 1 - After distributing the answers from the sample the average was calculated and the items which had an average medium of (1.. 11 ) up, were isobtted and the counseling program was constructed in order to ease the problems, and take actions towards the severeproblem - s,, and suggest solutions to achieve those goals. And the problems included the order of educational, psychological, family, economic, and health fields. Recommendations1 - Appointing An Educational Counselor for each primary school especially the youngsters schools.2 - Acquiring experienced teachers in the education or who have passed elderly or special courses.3 - Spreading information about opening 1nore schools according to their special environments.4 - Providing the Technical workshops and the necessary equipment for the occupational training. 5 - Providing transportation means for the pupils who arc far away from school.

The Aim of The Study The study aims at the following : I - constructing a scale for the psychological health of the i educational counsellors in Basrah.2 - Application the measurement of psychological health of the educational counsellor.3 - Measuring the level of the psychological health of the counsellors in Basrah.4 - Realizing the level of the psychological health of the sample's individuals according to the sex variables (male - female) and service period (Jess than ten years - more than ten years).5 - Are there differences of statistical significance in the level of the psychological health in accordance with the study variables? Limits of The Study The study is limited to a sample of 71 male and female counsellors in Basrah for the academic year 2001 - 2002. ProcedureA questionaire was distributed a sample of20 counsellors in he schools of the centrs and outskirts of Bas rah in order to arrive at he health whether they are negative or positive. The same uestionaire was handed out to three senior psyciatrics in Basrah.e items were modified then according to the in complete A triodic scale was determined according to always, sometimes and rarely : 3, 2, 1 respectively. Then the reliability tes~ was used.Results The study has arrived at the fact that counsellors possess a cceptarole psychological health. Recommendations The study has arrived at son1e recommendations : I - Conduct the same study in other provinces.2 - Conducting other studies that take into consideration the sex factor and experience.Suggestions I - Holding conferences to counsellors.2 - Holding cultural and qualification workshaps.3 - Making use of the following scale in appointing counsellors.4 - Asserting the importance of the psychological health of the educational counsellors.

Also, it is required used social - Psychological measure of Diwan (1996) whichis submitted for secondary stage students after applying it through number of steps to be qualified for university stage.The research is applied on the pattern of the study consists of (650) students collectively, fo1·ty one forms were neglected due to its unfulfilhuent the requirements of the reply the total number is (609) students; 302 males and 307 female. After entering data intocomputer, the researcher concluded the following : Consciousness Activity (response) level of university student is poor by pathetically as it is an important in the level of 0.05. 2. The important difference in the consciousness activity (response) level between two genders (males & female) for the benefit of female.3. There is no important statistical difference in the level of consciousness activity (response) ,between two genders (males & females) in respect of (proficiency, arranging, strangling for performance) as female were more weakness and sensitive toperform the duty than males as it is shown that.4. There is no )mportant statistical correlation between fhc consciQusncss activity (response) level and the acadep1ic qualification of the parents.5. There is important statistical difference between the level of consciousness activity (response) and the social - psychological compliance variable.In delight of the result of this research, it is suggested and recommended with some recommendation and suggestions including stimulate the Educational Organizations and Establishments to direct and learn the family with the importance of activate the consciousness at the child. The research suggested deepening the research by studying each factor of personality factors in addition to perform similar studies on other patterns dealing with different variables.

Accordingly, the goal of the present research is to identify the relation between the vocational self and vocational stability.The research aims at the following : 1 - Introducing study respondents ' vocational self2 - Introducing the vocational self according gender (male, female)3 - Introducing study respondents ' vocational stability4 - Introducing the relation between the vocational self according and vocational stability at study respondents.Current research is determined by educational counselors for the year 2014 - 2015 in Basra.The researcher theoretically definition pro caudally variables search in first chapterThe second chapter has provided the theoretical framework for the theories of which deals vacation self and vocational.Stability and former studies relating to the topic …The building research tools , the researcher has built a scale of vocational self from literature and component of super roger theory.The paragraphs scale it amounted (55) initially paragraph.The search use face validity for the paragraphs scale and aims of jury and experts.The percentage of expectance is ( 80 % ) of each paragraph then I cancelled (12) paragraph because the percentage of these paragraph are not good.I use discriminate validity , reliability and I test and canceled (3) paragraph.I do the test with (200) counselor reliability of vocation self The searcher.I do it by test and re test and value is ( 0,78 ).The vocational scale the taken from ( EDANY study 2011 ) and they do new face.Validity and new reliability.After recognize face validity and discriminate of ( 2 tools ) I do the two tools with (200 ) counselor in Basra schools To achieve these goals, the researcher applied that vocational self standard which has been established by depending on the literatures of vocationalguidance and Rogers - Super theory as well as a vocational self standard which has been adopted via the study of (Al Edani , 2011 ) which was applied in a scientific study to obtain DOCTORATE from Al Mustanseriah University on a study respondents composed of 200 educators. they were selected randomly and plainly from 4 directorates of Basrah - general education departments.After treating such data statistically by using the second option for one study respondents and for tow another study respondents and Bairson ' s connection factor as well as Spareman - Brown s ' equation , the research has concluded the following results : 1 - Presence of a statistical indication in behalf of study respondents on the basis of the vocational self standard2 - The presence of differences having statistical indication according to gender ( male , female )3 - The presence of a statistical indication in behalf of study respondents on the basis of vocational satiability standard.4 - The presence of differences having a statistical indication according to gender ( male , female ) on the basis of vocational satiability standard.5 - The presence of a positive and denotative connective relationship between vocational self and vocational satiability for the study respondents members in general.In the light of the results of this research , the researcher has summed up many recommendations and suggestions related to those results. Data were collected and statistically processed by employing the pear son moment - product correlation coefficient analysis of variance for two independent variables and the t - test for the two • Independent samples so that the following conclusions were drawn : (1) There is a/statistically significant relationship between the ability for decision making and the cognitive style (rigidity - flexlblllty).(2) The flexible are superior of rigid in their ability for decision making. Abstract: The Importance of the Research : The significance of this study stems from the following : 1 - This research work can be considered as apioneer step in the study of the mentally preeminent under achievers ,for it is the first attempt at dealing with thesis type of mentally preemineut under achievers..2 - This work is an attempt at shedding the light on the problem faced by the mentally preemi.llet under achievers and it suggests the activities that lead to making their.problems easy to solve.3 - The accurate description of the problems the mentally preeminent under achievers is beyond any doubt the basic starting poinJ : of any programme that aims at taking care of such subjects.4 - It is possible to apply the proposed counselling programme by the by the educational counsellors at the intermediate schools to arrive at the appropriate investigation to find out the mentally preeminent underachievers.Aim of the study : The present thesis aims at providing acounseling programme to serve the mentally preeminent underachievers of the third - year intermediat classes.Limiations of the study : The present research work in limited to : 1 - 111c mentally preeminent under achievers of the academic school year 1998 - 1999.2 - The centre of Basrah city.3 - The male third - year intermediate pupils.Procedures : 1 - The Sample : The population covered by this study is 5044. third - year school boys and the sample consists of 438 subjects. Among the members of this sample only 89 pupils repeated each other year at both the first and second years of their intennediate classes.2 - Tool Data Collection : A. The lrage standardized Raven's progressive Matrice which are developed by Dr.Fakhri AJ. Dabagh , Dr. Mahir Takah and Dr.V. komarlu arc used to find out the mentally preeminent individuals.B. The Questionnaire : The present research worker has prepared questionnaire to pinpoint th\problems faced by the subjects of the study. •The researcher has followed these steps : I - Distributing a pilot questionnire which consists of one open - ende question among twenty pupils to know their problems.2 - number of items were arrived at by analysing the subjects answers to ·the one openemded questions of the questionnaire to there items another ' number of test items were arived at after reviewin some previous studies.The total mumbr of the test items was 85 these items covered six fields educational , psychological , domestic , economic , social and health masters.3 - This tool of data collection was given to a jury to validate the items Each item which got 85 was included in the test were excluded the selectedtest ,items were 65 ones to there items other two were added. The fmal number these items read 67. Before each test item a four point scale.hence the unltiple choice answers suggest that each item is applicble to (a) great extent (6) some extenl (c) little extent , inawlicable. 4 - To prove the validity of queshonnaire items • the queshonnaire was later distributd among (16)subjects. through aretest which was conducted a forry later. The validity factor proved to be (0.88).Final Conduction : The tool was applied again it was distributed among 52 male subjects.' Statistical procedure : The research worker made was the percentage of jury agreement the corrected meens and pearsons Co - efficient factor was made use of there tofmd out the validity of the questionnare. The results that are arrived at are the following : .1 - The corected median was applied to the response. Then the items w~re re - arranged descendingly. The items which got the corrected means 21or more were dropped out. A set of Suggestions were made to make tlhe problems easier later and on the , procedural aims were selected according to the seriousness of those problems.Conclusions : The research worker has come up with to the conclusion lhat the subjects have been suffering from problems from all the six areas or fields. These problems at different degrees of diffir,?lty thus the fields can be re - arranged descendingly as follows : and problems 1 - The school field.2 - The psychological field.3 - The Domestic field. ·4 - The economic field.5 - The social field.6 - The health matters.Recommendations : 1 - An educational counsellor should be available as a member of the staff of every intermediate school in Iraq.If it is difficult to apoint such an official , one of the teachers should receive training in counseling to play the role of a counselor.2 - Awareness of the importance of.counselling should be encuoraged and spread throogh all types of media of commuintcution.3 - Spreading knowledge via parent - teachers meetings through successful treatment fashions with mentally preeminent pupils and not allowing.anxiety to have place their souls to achieve their parents ambitions.Suggestion : 1 - There is a crying need for conductins simalar thesis with female mentally underachievers.2 - Theres is a need for Conducting acomparative study that covers maale and female mentally preeminent from other educational stages primary j prepatory and university. 13 - Making study that aims at building a comprehensive educationa counseling programme to cover the res of the mentally preeminenunder adievers.4 - Since the present research is limited to the center Basrah Govemorate , : it is proposed that further studies shoyld cover the other parts the Govemorate of Basrah and other provinces.

Abstract: Childhood is considered as an important and crucial stage in forming the personality and in fonnulating its characteristics.Studies show that several of those who are suffering of psychological disorders were exposed to shocks or problems during their childhood ; which left deep influence in their personalities.Fears constitute the cornerstone of many psychological disorders like anxiety , phobia , obsession and compulsion Besides, fear is closely related to anger, jealousy and lie.What adds to the importance of the study is that children are in an age where disorder can be easily changed or modified to build a stable personality.. To do this , it is necessary to devise an objective mechanism which enables us to investigate children fears.Aims of the study : The present study ai1ns at : 1. Devising an inventory to survey fears of pupils in the primary stage.2. Measuring fears of pupils in the primary stage. 3. Investigating the fears of pupils in the primary stage according to the variables of : • Sex ( male or female )• The pupil's order among his brothers and sisters (first, middle or last).• Living with the ( father , mother or both ). The research covers only pupils of the primary stage in the daily schools in the city of Basrah during the school year 1999 - 2000.Approach of the Study : The population of the research consists of 67749 pupiis distributed over 542 schools. The number of pupils in the pilot sample is 250. The main sample consists of 800 pupils ( 400 males and 400 females). The pupils were chosen randomly.The researcher utilized a questionnaire to collect data. the first version of the questionnaire includes 95 items distributed over seven axes. These axes are : School fears , animals fears , fears of nature , health fears , family fears , war fears , miscellaneous fears. The questionnaire was then given to specialists and experts of education and psychology so as to judge its reliability. Those items which were agreed upon by less than 80% were taken out and the items left were 82.To ensure the validity of the questionnaire procedures, overt validity and construction validity were followed. After completing these procedures , those items which did not sho\v statistic significance were taken out. Thus the total number of the valid items became only 58. Concerning the consistency of the questionnaire, it was checked by repeating the test. To find out the consistency coefficient , Pearson correlation coefficient was used and it equal 0.83.After administering the questionnaire and collecting the da , data analysis was done by using the percentage , Fischer equation T. test and the differential analysis.Results of the study : The researcher arrived at the following results : 1. The procedures carried out in chapter 3 helped in devising an inventory of the fears of children in the primary stage. 2. Concerning the second aim of the study , it was revealed that the mean of scores of the sample of the study ( 74.32) wa higher than the hypothetical mean ( 58). When the two mean were tested by T. test , it was revealed that it was statisticall significant with a degree of freedom of 799 and significanc level of 0.05. Thirty - two fearful situations were identified fo the pupils of the primary stage.3. Concerning the fourth aim of the study, it was revealed that there are statistically - significant differences in the variable o sex and positively on the side of females in all axes i.e. fears o females were higher than those of males except in the fourth andsixth axes ( health fears and war fears ) where no statistically - significant differences between males and females appear.Results also showed statistically - significant differences in the variable of the order of the child among his brothers and sisters. These differences were between the first and last orders on one side and the middle on the other side. No differences were revealied between the first and last orders.

Abstract: يعاني طالب الجامعة في بعض الاحيان من عجز في تحقيق التوازن بين دوافعه الملحة وضغوط الحياة والتي بدورها تؤثر على صحته النفسية. فطالب الجامعة يمر بمرحلة الشباب ومايتخلل هذه المرحلة من مشكلات وصراعات ناجمة عن سوء توافق دراسي ومن جملة هذه المشكلات الرسوب الدر | A university student sometimes suffers from a deficit in achieving the balance between the pressing motives and,Lite stresses which in turn, affect his mental. Therefore, a university student, undergoing the problems and conflicts which permeate this stage, often suffers from poor academic adjastment. Among these problems is the problem of repeated academic failure. When the student repeats the academic year, he/she is seen as marginalized. This marginalization undercuts the feasibility of the student's efforts and the benefits of supportive measures whether made by family, social group, or educational staff. This cyclical marginalization further reinforces the student's negative perceptions and ideas about himself/herself. Then the student's response to future opportunities and challenges is colored by his/her feelings of being marginalized and, thus, the student does not achieve his or her true potential, the desired results. Thus, this entire process is one of learned helplessness on a declamatory, cognitive, and behavioral level. And this problem is related to another problem which is the Epistemology beliefs among university students which is represented by the system of implicit assumptions which students carry about the nature of knowledge and its acquisition. The study problem is manifested in the answers to the following questions : • Do university students suffer from learned helplessness?• Do the variables of gender, stage, or specialization affect learned helplessness among university students?• What is the level of Epistemology beliefs among the university students?• Do the variables of gender, stage and the specialization have an effect on the Epistemology beliefs among the university students?• Is there a relationship between learned helplessness and cognitive beliefs among the university?The research aims at the following : 1. Measuring the level of learned helplessness among university students.2. Identifying any significant differences of learned helplessness among university students according to the variables( 1) gender; (2) specialization;( c) academic status (success versus failure).3. Measuring the level of the Epistemology beliefs among university students4. Identifying the differences of Epistemology beliefs among university students according to the variables : (a) gender; b : specialization; ( c) academic status (success v. failure).5. Recognizing the relationship between Epistemology beliefs and learned helplessness among university students? To achieve the goals of the research, a scale to measure learned helplessness has been prepared depending on Seligman's theory. The scale consists of 49 items to measure learned helplessness. Additionally, Skomer's scale of Epistemology beliefs was also modified to suite the study sample (university students). The psychometric properties of the scale were extracted by adopting a method of comparing terminals and the reliability of internal consistency, and the stability of the scales was extracted by Cronbach's alpha formula. This scale is applied to a sample of university students (repeaters - and successful) numbering 723 male and female students for the academic year 2015/2016 by using of the variance triple analysis and Pearson correlation coefficient.The most significant results are : 1. Failed (marginalized) students have a level of learned helplessness. 2. There is difference between the Epistemology beliefs of the successful students and the failed (marginalized) students.3. There is a negative correlation relationship between learned helplessness and Epistemology beliefs (learning speed) of the successful students.4. There is a positive correlation relationship between the learned helplessness and Epistemology beliefs. In light of these results, the researcher made some recommendations and proposals : 1. Through programs of the center of teaching methods, the lecturers are enlightened by the most effective ways to deal with the students to raise their motivation to attain and achieve success; especially, focus on students whose academic status is low.2. Holding training courses for the teachers through the programs of teaching methods at university to develop their Learning strategies and how they can develop the Epistemology beliefs of the students

Abstract: يهدف البحث الحالي التعرف على : 1 - السعة العقلية لدى المرحلة الاعدادية.2 - دلالة الفروق في السعة العقلية لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور - اناث), التخصص(علمي - ادبي), الصف (الرابع - الخامس).3 - السمات الشخصية المبتكرة لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية.4 - دلالة الفروق في سمات الشخصية المبتكرة لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور - اناث), التخصص (علمي - ادبي), الصف (الرابع - الخامس).5 - علاقة السعة العقلية بسمات الشخصية المبتكرة لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية.ولتحقيق اهادف البحث، قامت الباحثة باستعمال مقياس السعة العقلية ( لجان بسكاليوني,1970) وطبق المقياس على عينة البحث للصف (الرابع والخامس الاعدادي)، كما قامت الباحثة كذلك بتبني مقياس سمات الشخصية المبتكرة لهولمز(1976), لكونه الاداة المناسبة حسب علم الباحثة القادرة على قياس السمة المراد دراستها وهو مقياس اجنبي تم ترجمته الى العربية, وتعديله بما يتناسب والبيئة العراقية، وتم التحقق من الخصائص السايكومترية لكلا المقياسين، وقد بلغت عينة البحث(776) طالبا وطالبة من الصف الرابع والخامس الاعدادي، واستعملت الباحثة الوسائل الاحصائية الاتية : (الاختبار التائي لعينة واحدة، الاختبار التائي لعينتين مستقلتين المتساويتين بالعدد، ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون، معادلة الفا كرونباخ , وتحليل التباين الثلاثي). وتم التوصل الى النتائج التالية : 1. ان طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية يتمتعون بمستوى عالي في السعة العقلية .2. ان طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية يتمتعون بسمات الشخصية المبتكرة .3. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في السعة العقلية تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور - اناث), التخصص(علمي - ادبي). لكن توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في السعة العقلية تبع لمتغير الصف (الرابع - الخامس ) لصالح الصف الرابع الاعدادي.4. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في سمات الشخصية المبتكرة تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور - اناث), التخصص (علمي - ادبي), المرحلة (الرابع - الخامس) 5. توجد علاقة بين السعة العقلية وسمات الشخصية المبتكرة لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية. التوصيات 1 - ضرورة توفير الفرص والظروف, والانشطة والمهام, والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي اللازمة لتنمية قدرات المتفوقين والمبتكرين الى اقصى قدر ممكن, واسهام ذلك في تنمية وتوسيع السعة العقلية لديهم.2 - اجراء ما يلزم من تعديلات للمناهج الدراسية العادية من حيث المحتوى وطرق التدريس, والتركيز على تفرد التعلم, حسب قدرات واستعدادات الطلبة نحو العملية التعليمية. 3 - ضرورة توفير معلمين متخصصين ومؤهلين للعمل مع الطلاب ذوي السعة العقلية العالية والمبتكرين, واقامة كليات ومراكز عليا لاعداد وتدريب المعلمين المتخصصين للعمل مع المبتكرين ومع ذوي السعات العقلية العليا, مع تقديم الدعم اللازم لتشجيعهم على العمل بدقة وكفاءة مع الطلاب. كذلك اقامة مدارس خاصة صيفية لتقديم موضوعات ومواد معينة كي يلتحق بها المبتكرون والطلاب ذوي السعة العقلية العليا لتطوير مهاراتهم وقدراتهم الخاصة.4 - ضرورة وضع اليات لتنفيذ البرامج التربوية للمبتكرين والاهتمام بذوي السعات العقلية العليا من خلال اجراء مسابقات او برامج او مهرجانات تظهر هذه القدرات العقلية مع وجوب توفر دعم حكومي ومجتمعي اللازم لتنفيذ ذالك.المقترحات1 - اجراء دراسة مع متغيرات اخرى مثل السعة العقلية وعلاقتها بالتفكير الناقد او الادراك او التفوق الاكاديمي وغيرها.2 - اجراء دراسة مع متغيرات اخرى لسمات الشخصية المبتكرة وعلاقتها بالمعلم الناجح او بالنمو المعرفي وغيرها. | The current work aims at the following : 1. Recognizing students' mental capacities in preparatory schools. 2. Identifying the differences in these capacities according to the variant of gender (males - females), the branch of study (pure scientific - humanistic), the level of study (fourth - fifth)3. Recognizing the students' creative personality traits in the preparatory schools.4. Recognizing the differences in these personalities according to the variant of gender (males - females), the specialty of study (humanistic - pure scientific), the level of study (fourth - fifth)5. Recognizing the relationship (positive or negative) between mental capacity and creative personality traits of those students in preparatory schools. The sample included in this study was (776) students (boys and girls) from fourth and fifth classes in the preparatory schools. To accomplish the goals of this work, the researcher has followed and adopted mental capacity measurement made by Pascal - Leone. The scale is applied to those sample students. The researcher also adopted a measurement for creative personality traits put forward by Holmes for it is the only available tool. Then, psychometric features were checked for both of these two kind of measurement using statistical means such as T - test for one specimen, T - test for two independent samples, SPSS and Cronbach's Alpha formula. The results can be summarized I the following points : 1. The students in these schools have a good level of mental capacity. 2. They have a good level of creative personality traits.3. There are no statistical differences in mental capacities according to gender differences (boy - girls), the branch of study (humanistic - pure scientific), but There are statistical differences in mental capacities due to the level of study (four and five classes)4. There are no statistical differences in creative personality traits due to gender differences (boys - girls), the branch of study. But there are statistical differences in creative personality traits due to the level of study (fourth - fifth).5. There is positive relationship between mental capacity and creative personality traits among students in the preparatory schools.
