Abstract: وامجادها نهل من مناهله شعراء العصور التالية ولايزال يمنح الكثير.من هنا اتجه العزم وتملكتني الرغبة في الوقوف وقفة متانية عند نتاج شعر شاعر من شعراء المعلقات الا وهو لبيد بن ربيعة العامري، الشاعر الفارس الجاهلي الاسلامي فلا غرابة ان يحمل شعره من الكنوز ما حمل من (الاثر الثقافي) مما امكننا من استنطاقه وعدم اغفاله رغم كثرة الدراسات التي انصبت على شعره سواء كانت دراسات لغوية ام ادبية، الا انها لم تتناول هذا الجانب (الاثر الثقافي) تناولا جادا وافيا بل ربما وردت اشارات عابرة هنا هناك.ومن الدراسات التي اضاءت السبيل امامي اذ اعتمدت اساسا على الديوان الذي حققه الدكتور احسان عباس وقدم له بمقدمة عن الشاعر فقد افدت منها الكثير فضلا عن نسخة اخرى من ديوانه.وقد افادت الباحثة من كتاب يحيى الجبوري الموسوم (لبيد بن ربيعة العامري) ودراسة اسلوبية للباحث عبدالله محمود الموسومة ب((لبيد بن ابي ربيعة العامري وشعره الاسلامي))، ودراسة الباحث حسن سعد الموسومة ((تجربة الشعر والصراع النفسي عند الشاعر المخضرم لبيد) للباحث م. م. حسن سعد، وهناك دراسات اكاديمية تناولت بالدراسة والبحث توظيف الاثر الثقافي مثل توظيف الموروث الثقافي في شعر النابغة للباحث عيسى هشام، وتوظيف الموروث في شعر الاعشى للباحث وسام عبدالسلام توظيف والموروث في شعر عدي بن زيد العبادي وامية بن ابي الصلت للباحثة سناء احمد سليم، وهذه الدراسات كلها جرت تحت اشراف الدكتور احسان الديك وغيرها من الدراسات التي اطلعت عليها لاتجاوزها باحثة وفق ما يمليه علي شعر لبيد.فضلا عن المصادر القديمة كالشعر والشعراء، والحيوان، والبيان والتبيين، ومروج الذهب، وبلوغ الارب في معرفة احوال العرب، والمفصل في تاريخ العرب قبل الاسلام.فقد كانت هذه الكتب وغيرها روافد امدت البحث بمعلومات قيمة.اما ما يخص منهج البحث فهو منهج تحليلي ينطلق من النص الشعري مستقرئا مستنطقا الاثار الثقافية التي تلقي بظلالها على الصور الشعرية وتلونها وتؤطرها. وان كان البحث لا يقف عند حدود هذا المنهج بل افاد كثيرا من معطيات المنهج الاجتماعي والتاريخي الذي اضاء الجوانب المحيطة بالنص.هذا وقد توزع البحث على ثلاثة فصول يتقدمها تمهيد يكشف عن مفهوم الاثر لغة واصطلاحا وكذلك الكشف عن الثقافة وعلاقتها بالشعر.اذ جاء الفصل الاول بعنوان (الاثر الديني) الذي تناولت فيه اثر الدين الاسلامي في شعر الشاعر وتوظيفه لشخصيات واحداث اسلامية وردت في القران الكريم ثم تتبعت الاثر الديني المشترك فضلا عن الصور التي تظهر بعضا من مظاهر الديانة اليهودية والنصرانية.اما الفصل الثاني (الاثر التاريخي والاسطوري) وتناولت فيه توظيف الشاعر للشخصيات التاريخية الوقائع والاحداث التي عاصرت الشاعر والاحداث والوقائع التي سبقت عصره فقد مزجت الفصل التاريخي بالاسطوري لكون الاسطورة تعد جزءا من التاريخ فنرى لبيد قد وظف بعض الاساطير العربية القديمة في خطابه الشعري .وكان الفصل الثالث بعنوان ((الاثر الاجتماعي)) فقد تناولت فيه اثار المجتمع والعادات والتقاليد في شعر لبيد وكيف وظفها واستلهمها في شعره.ثم اعقبت ذلك بخاتمة تضمنت خلاصة ما توصل اليه البحث من نتائج وهنا لابد من التنويه على ان جهد الباحثة انصب حول استقراء الاثار الثقافية ولم يفرد للدراسة الفنية مباحث خاصة وان جاءت ضمن التحليل وذلك لاسباب منها ان هذه الجوانب قد اشبعت دراسة وتحليلا قديما فضلا عن حرصنا على عدم الوقوع في تكرار الشواهد فيما لو افردت بفصل خاص والتزاما منا بعنوان الرسالة (الاثر الثقافي في شعر لبيد).وفي هذا المقام اتقدم بالشكر الجزيل لاستاذتي الدكتورة جنان محمد عبد جليل التي اقترحت الموضوع فاشكرها لحسن ظنها بي.تبقى هذه الدراسة مجرد لبنة في صرح تراث خير امة اخرجت للناس فان وفقت فمن الله والا فما انا الا طالبة علم ومن الله التوفيق. | The pre - Islamic poetry will remain a source of creativity and a truly translation and honestly of the nation's influence and its glories achievements of the nobility of the poets of the following ages and still giving a lot amount . From, here, I determined and possessed the desire to stand a careful pause when producing poetry of the pendants poets of Labid Ben Rabya Al - Amiry, the knight of the pre - Islamic poet .It is not surprising that his poetry carrying from the treasures that no one carries from the ( Cultural impact ), which cannot be overlooked of his poetry despite the many studies that focused on his poetry that range from language studies or literary studies, but it did not take care of the cultural side (Cultural impact ) very seriously, and perhaps there have been signals not essential here and there .There is no doubt that these studies lit the way in my frontthat I mainly based on the Poets Collection, which was published by Dr. Ehsan Abbas on date 22 / / and gave an introduction about the poet that benefits a lot of others as well as the other copy of the Poet Collection . Also , the book Publisher by YahyaAl - Juboury in the titleof ( Labid bin AbiRabiaAl - Amiry).The Master degree study of the student Abdullah Mahmood in the title of (Labid bin Abi Rabia Al - Amiry and his Islamic Poetry).And the study in the title of (The Experience of thePsychological Conflict ofThe Poet veteran Labid ) by the researcher M. M . Hassan Saad.As well as,the ancient references sources such as (Al - Haywan ), (Al - BaianWalTabyeen ) and ( Mouroj Al - Thahab) , ( Belough Al - Erabfor The Knowing of TheConditionof The Arab ) and ( The clarification of The history of Islamic Arabs ) . These books and others tributaries provided valuable knowledge and information .But for the method of the research it was theanalyses method beginning from the original poetic text then carrying on then questioning the cultural effects that cast its shadow over the poetic pictures and couloredthem and framed them as well . Although, the research does not stand stillat the limits of the boarders of this analyses approach, but reported about many of the data of the Social approach and the Historical approach that lit the atmosphere around the text .The research has been divided into three chapters preceded by a study that reveals the concept of the linguistics and the terminology, as well as the reveals of the culture and its relationship with the poetry .The first chapter in the titled of ( The Religious effect ), which deals with the impact of the pre - Islamic Religion in the poetry of the poet of Labidand the research to workup totheVerse wisdom in his textsWhile,Chapter two in title of ( The Historical and the Legendary Effect ) that deal with the workup of the poet of the historical figures and personals and the facts and the realityof events that preceded the era of the poet . Then he had mixed the historical chapter with the legendary chapter due to the legend is part of history.Then we see that Labid has employed and worked up some of the ancient Arabic legends .The third chapter in the title of ( The Social Impact and effect ) which deals with the effects of the Society, customs and traditions in the poetry of Labid and how heemployed in his poetryThen, followed by a conclusion that included the results that the Researcher have reached and finds out from the research

Abstract: The researcher may be tired and aware of his transfer from a chapter or a subject to another or from a science to another, but all this disappears when he gets the results of the study. When the result is the fruit of his labor and long efforts, his transition is nothing but comfort and pleasure. Of the most important findings of the study are as follows : - The evidence is a mental behavior to which a person is entitled in matters that deprive him of proving or denying it by means of various mental evidence based on general principles and rules that cannot be proven or denied. - The study proves that the evidence proves the speech of the author of his honesty, such as the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet (peace be upon him) and the words of the Arabs before his mission, in his time, and beyond. - It confirms that the witness and citation are no different from the evidence in terms of concept, both are linguistic evidence used by the grammarians to either confirm or deny. Therefore, between the evidence and the citation in general and specific due to the fact that they are equal in meaning and use, both are equal in that they prove the validity of the rule and opinion. However, the study proves that this general referred to as not being launched, there is another view is that the evidence is more than the citation because it is mind and transport either citation is only by transformation. - What has been proven in the study is that there are some terms that are very close to the two terms of evidence and citation : representation, ideals and examples. - What the study confirms is the use of large - scale the term evidence by the ancient scientists, but they expressed it in different words like cited, proving citation, and argument, and many more. - The study shows that there are many bases that are supported in the evidence by scientists that can be referred to as sources of evidence, which are generally transient and mental. The first, such as the Quran, Hadith of the prophet, and his evidence, and poetry and prose of the Arabs, proverbs and dialects. The second deals with analogy and morphology. There is a third type that does not include them, and this is what we call the other evidence. - What we have reached in our results is that the interpreters did not get out of the circles of the temporal and spatial evidence. They cited with the rules established and ruled by the grammarians in which they may be invoked, and the tribes did not depart from the tribes in which the eloquence and the statement from which the evidence is taken.

Abstract: لاشك في ان البحث في علوم اهل بيت النبوة (عليهم السلام) هو شرف لكل باحث وطالب علم يامل ان يغترف من معين اسفار ال محمد لا سيما امير البلغاء والمتكلمين في سفره الخالد (نهج البلاغة), اذ يعد هذا الكتاب من حيث المكانة الدينية والموضوعات التي حواها بعد كلام الخالق عز وجل وكلام النبي (صلى الله عليه واله وسلم), فكان ذلك دافعا للبحث في احد موضوعاته بما شكله من نص ديني ابداعي, وقد اقترح الاستاذ المشرف موضوع الدعاء فيه, فقبلت الفكرة كون موضوع الدعاء يعد من الموضوعات الزاخرة بالعطاء الروحي والبيان اللغوي, فقد شكل الدعاء عند امير المؤمنين (عليه السلام) بابا من ابواب بلاغته؛ ليرفدنا بنص لغوي حتوى معاني لغوية متعددة, وجاءت الدراسة تحت عنوان(الدعاء في نهج البلاغة دراسة في انماط التركيب ودلالات الصوت والبناء الصرفي)؛ لنتعرف على اهم الميزات اللغوية والدلالات التي شكلت هذا الدعاء, وجاء البحث على تمهيد وثلاثة فصول ثم خاتمة بينت النتائج التي توصل اليها الباحث, تضمن التمهيد : الدعاء لغة واصطلاحا, وفضيلة الدعاء عند امير المؤمنين (عليه السلام), ثم جاء الكلام عن اداب الدعاء عنده (عليه السلام), وكان الفصل الاول بعنوان (انماط التركيب الخبري) وفيه قسمان التركيب الاسمي في جزئيها المبتدا والخبر، وكذا في التركيب الفعلي التي وزعت بحسب الفعل على قسمين تركيب الفعل الماضي ووتركيب المضارع, اما الفصل الثاني فكان بعنوان انماط التركيب الانشائي, وقد كان على ثلاثة اقسام الاول تركيب النداء, والثاني تركيب الامر, اما الثالث تركيب النهي, واما الفصل الثالث فحمل عنوان (دلالات الصوت والبناء الصرفي الادعية في نهج البلاغة) وجاء على قسمين من اقسام الدلالة الاولى الدلالة الصوتية والثانية الدلالة الصرفية، ولم اتعرض للدلالة النحوية؛ لان ما تقدم في الفصل الاول يدل عليها، وضم البحث خاتمة عرضنا فيها اهم ما توصل اليه البحث.اما المصادر فقد استعنت في الاصل على خمسة شروح للنهج كان اهمها, شرح ابن ابي الحديد, ونفحات الولاية للشيخ ناصر مكارم الشيرازي, , ومنهاج البراعة في شرح نهج البلاغة لحبيب الخوئي, وفي ظلال نهج البلاغة لمحمد جواد مغنية, وشرح نهج البلاغة لابن ميثم البحراني, وغيرها من المصادر التي توزعت بين القديم والحديث, ولعل اهم ما واجه الباحث من صعوبات هو عدم وجود شرح لغوي واف لنهج البلاغة يمكن الاعتماد عليه, فالشروح المتداولة والمعتمدة في البحث تطغى عليها الجوانب العقائدية والتاريخية, ومن الصعوبات كذلك المساحة الضيقة للنص الدعائي فلم يكن النص كبيرا ليعطي للباحث حرية البحث والتقصي والاستشهاد. في النهاية اسال الله تعالى توفيقه فهو خير ناصر وخير معين والحمد لله تعالى اولا واخرا | The current study sheds light on the linguistic structure of the text of prayer in Imam Ali's Nahj Albalagha (Peak of Eloquence) and on its semantic level in many respects : investigating the sentence of prayer in terms of its nominal and verb phrases; developing the patterns of prayer, which is represented by the vocative case, command, and prohibition and their semantic aspects, as well as highlighting the syntactic and phonological significance of the text.Additionally, the study expresses the deep meaning implied by the text and its association with the originator of the text, the most knowledgeable of the secrets of language and its implications. The study also explicates the relation of prayer as a linguistic unit and as a spiritual connection between the worshipper and the worshipped tailored in a highly elegant style of politeness, formed by Imam Ali (P.B.U.H.)

Abstract: Autobiographical Novel has its remarkable presence in the modern Arabic art especially in Iraq due to its abundance capabilities which have assisted novelists to formulate identity of the world. It is common that they sacrifice their life which is full of miseries to serve fictions. Novelists believe that such lives deserve to narrate. The importance of this study comes from rarity of studies that dealt with Autobiographical Novel in Iraq. In order to enrich an Arabic narrative library in general, and the Iraqi one in particular, we endeavor to cover this rare part of the critical studies through this thesis entitled ( Autobiographical Novel in the Iraqi Modern Art).This these has come in three chapters preceded by an introduction and followed by a conclusion.As to the theoretical preliminary chapter, the researcher intends to shed light on a briefed historical account about presence and decline of identity in the Iraqi art. Then, researcher focuses on the problematic concept of an Autobiographical Novel including its limits, its idiom and its conceptual construction through which we are up to answer the question : "What's it? Following that, we go to answer the problem of justification, "why?".Researcher, at the end of the preliminary chapter, set methodology on which "coincidence of horizons" will be guided. This concept is consisted from : composer, narrator and character. This, definitely, could shape a quality identity, narrative construction and story implications. This opens doors wide to practical part of study which is of three chapters. The first chapter is entitled " a qualitative horizon : author - reader". In this chapter, the researcher is after answering question of "a qualitative identity infused in Autobiographical Novel and its evidence" through solidarity between an author - reader, on one hand, and investigation and imagination, on the other hand to approach identity infused in Autobiographical Novel . However, ambiguity is not within the topic of novel/biography, but within the topic of imagination/investigation, disclosing illusion that links novel to imagination and investigation to Autobiographical Novel . Also, there is no objection to entry of imagination in non - literary works, and no objection as well to inclusion of investigation in novels. This chapter section are considered as evidence of the hypothesis of infused identity.In the second chapter "constructive horizon : author/narrator", the researcher answers the question about characteristics of Autobiographical Novel and its superiority as far as possible internally from other types of fiction. It is composed within the question "how?" after bringing "author - narrator - narrated to - reader" together in the narrative scheme. The answer will be determined through " author - narrator" of their relation to the story "text - the constructed" and narration, base on the two narrators : Tzvitan Todorov and Gerard Genet.The last chapter, third one, entitled "semantic horizon : author - hero", a semantic question in Autobiographical Novel . This would not be recognized through searching for a set of topics form semantics for fear of the subject might be drawn to defects weaken this study. Abstract: This research aims at introducing a view to investigate the linguistic and rhetorical styles and their value in the suras under study through realizing their explicit artistic and linguistic elements , analyzing and exploring the secrets of the underlying inherent beauty in their linguistic structure and rhetorical construction. The approach adopted in this study depends on analyzing the samples and components of the rhetorical and linguistic discourse. The study is theoretical and analytical. lt also investigates the rhetorical styles in syntax as necessitated by the subject so as to infer the extent of agreement between what linguists and rhetoricians determine as rules and principles on one side and the linguistic and rhetorical actuality of the texts of the suras under study on the other. This study is made of an introduction and four chapters. The introduction explores the concepts of verse in language and in terminology and of classifying the suras into Meccan and Madania. Chapter one discusses the semantic level of the lexeme in a way to reveal its essential meaning and features. Chapter tow highlights the level of the narrative structure the topic of the narration clause. Here ,the researcher shows the types and linguistic displacement of the structure, the concept of the clause , classifying clauses into nominal and verbal elements and places of the predicate in the sentence and finally what may come upon the sentence concerning citing and deletion, postponement and advancement and rhetoric's of emphasis. Chapter three linguistic styles Rhetorical First Section : The is about the linguistic styles (paragraph)request style : (Interrogative , Order, Negative , and Appeal).Second Section : Rhetorical Styles. It sheds light on the artistic imagery like similarity, metaphor and metonymy.

With this great values, Quran is full of various discourses; one of those being the “Assignment Discourse” that occurs with different forms and manners following the kind of recipients and contexts. The title of this study is “Commitment speech in the Holy Quran : Denotative Study”. What forces the researcher to choose this topic is the fact that it combines two sciences; Glottogony and Linguistics, which are important sciences in human life. Abstract: Quranic Readings are considered of holy rank as it illustrates how to perform the pronunciation of Quranics wordings which convey the meaning of the divine message in order to deliver it to the people so they will have no plea against Allah after the Messengers. This thesis (Readings of Ahl Albait, The Infallible, Semantics Study) contributes towards the investigation and research process of the reading that represents an extension to the reading of the prophet pbuhap in performance and manner to become effective factors in delivering the divine message successfully.To meet this target, this thesis adopted the following methodInductive method; this will be through inducing the wording that the infallible Ahl Albeit used in their reading. Then working on objectively classifying this wording based on the semantics of the pronunciation that was delivered. This thesis is studied from three aspectsFirstly : the theoretical side. This is will be via the explanation of the infallible’s character and his reading features. In addition, what this thesis has revealed about the unique nature of this reading that segregate it from all other public readings; that is its focus on the illustration side in reading, and in particular, the illustration at the ideological level which represents the essence of religion and the divine message.Secondly : researching derivative and spiritual approaches of the references of the reading, considering the first lexical, reading, as a reference to explain the wording, and the second lexical as a reference to explain jurisprudential rule. All that by leveraging of : the common points and the joint connector which refers to the linguistic lexical. That is in addition to, the effort of the researcher to establish a “Semantics approach” between the reading, as a performance, and the Quran, as the theater of this performance. This thesis revealed the meeting of the pronunciation, lexical, reading and Quran on a common Indication that links them all to the deriving’s origin from that tripartite term.Thirdly : The analytical side. Wordings that Ahl Albait expressed its readings will be analysed and classified into two indicative levels, the morphological level and the grammarian level. This paper will not deal with pronunciation and lexical semantics due to the fact that Ahl Albait reading is not preoccupied with sound resources like “Alemala”, “Alaalal” or substitution or any other audio study resources. The focus of Ahl Albait is directed towards the explanation of the meaning and enlightening the receiver with guidance that Quran has come with. Their reading has not bothered with pronunciation performance but made pronunciation as mean of contact and communications between spokesperson and the receivers. As of the lexical level, their reading did not come up with wordings that are sufficient to establish a chapter on this subject. However, it may be noticed that this subject is slightly referred to in the study of morphological and grammarian levels.This paper has been presented in an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion as per the following : The Introduction, where the reason behind selecting this subject is explained. As well as highlighting the importance of the subject and its intended goals. Then winding up with a plan of study of this paper.Chapter one, is a research study on the characteristics of Ahl Albait reading at the reader’s level and at reading materials’ level. Adding a research study to explain the relation between the lexical material, the reading and Quran due to their common lexical and semantics material. This chapter is wind up with a semantic approach between Quran and the narrations to illustrate the explanatory reading.Chapter two : presents a research study on the morphological level in Ahl Albait reading within three aspects. The first is on the morphological level and its relation with the explanatory reading. The second on conjugation morphology in Ahl Albait’s (pbut) reading. The third on the derivative morphology in their reading (pbut).Chapter three : a research study on grammarian level of the reading of ahl Albair (pbut). This chapter contains foreword and two case studies. The first case study addresses (increase and decrease) in ahl Albait’s reading and its effect on the structural indication. The second case study addresses the changes in structural wording and its effect on the semantics.Conclusion : summerises the output that this paper has reached, which represent the outcome of the research path of this thesis in a subject that may be looked at as unpresented in the academic research field.Praise be to Allah alone and peace be upon Mohammed and his progeny.

Abstract: This study deals with contemporary critics and scholars ' opinions for one of the poetic arts that strongly emerged in the literature of the Amawi era , namely , ( Al NAQA'ID ). The Study aims to discover the way through which the Arabic critical blog of the modern age treats such type of heritage texts as well as reveal the shifts which hit the Modern Arabic Critical system in the first place , so - called the Age of (Revival) , the time when contextual methodologies widely prevailed and were concerned mainly with outer contexts of the social , historical and psychological conditions surrounding the text and its cultural and social medium through (textual criticism) in the age of Modernism up to Reading & construe methodologies in the Post - Modernism age. The study is based on two concepts. The first one is based on the concept of discourse as a group of texts directed into a specific critical scope. The second is stemming from the constructive concept of Arabic Poetry in the Arabic Criticism system since long ago , which is based on the fact that the lyric poem is a linguistic structure includes ( form and content). Form is meant to include the issues of language , rhythm and Poetic Imageries. On the other hand , Content represents the meanings and thoughts included in the form. Hence , the researcher went ahead in dismantling this discourse into two sides. The first one contained the thematic issues and phenomena. The other side is the artistic issues and phenomena. In terms of Arabic critical methodologies , they represented the central crystal with which the discourse was concerned. It is indeed a methodological discourse based on methodical bases as specified by Modern Western methodologies , taking in consideration cultural Arabic particularity. The most important outcome of this research is the confirmation that The Modern Arabic Critical Discourse compared with Al NAQA'ID was coinciding with critical shifts that touched the modern Arabic discourse structure in general and they furthermore approved the dominance of thematic sides in the heritage text at the expense of artistic ones. Moreover , they manifested the strong presence of the historical and social methodology with a relative absence of the psychological one in terms of themes. Concerning artistic sides , the researcher noticed the intensive care that Arabic critics and scholars lavished so as to disclose the recognized artistic structure of Al NAQA'ID text through their works of disclosing the linguistic nature therein and the denotation of metaphor element in its structure. I also disclosed their endeavors in studying the rhythmical level , poetic imagery , as well as the critics ' interest in studying the involvement of the thematic phenomena such as Irony phenomenon , meaning exploration , expatriation , cultural involvement. Moreover , involving artistic phenomena such as bi - antagonism , argumentation and repetition. Abstract: Ahmed Matar is known for his own peculiar style, in particular his Lafitat, i.e. ‘Banners’, that has made him a well - known poet in the Arab world filled with anger against their political systems and governments. His poems are characterized by a sarcastic style. Therefore, some like to call him ‘the king of poets’. His poems have studies from different perspectives by a number of researchers. While some researchers, such Ahmed Ghuneim who has dealt with the elements of creation in his poetry and Abulkareem Al - Saeedi who has focused on the poetic narration in his poetry, some others, such as Khalid Jaffal Lafta and Tahsin Hasan Jasim have studied the stylistic aspects of his poetry concentrated and the techniques of the poetic formation in his poetry respectively. However, none of them has spell out the rhythm in his poetry. After having consulted my supervisor, I have come up with this title : THE RHYTHMIC STRUCTURE IN AHMED MATER’S POETRY This study adopts two approaches, viz. historical and descriptive; it is divided into three main chapters preceded by a foreword and an introduction and followed by a conclusion. Chapter one which is titled ‘The Structure of the Prosodic Rhythm’ spells out the poetic meters along with their contexts and the types of rhymes in Ahmed Matar’s poems.Chapter two, for its turn, which is titled ‘The Structure of the Phonic Rhythm’ confines itself to different types of rhyme, such as that of lexical items, lines, texts, rhyme.As for the third chapter titled ‘The Structure of Musical Rhythm’, it focuses on the most important factors that contribute to enriching his poems’ rhythm, such as repetition, foregrounding, back grounding, paronomasia, antithesis, and so forth.The rhythmic structure in Ahmed Mater’s poetry has been studied by means of identifying the most important elements of such a structure and the main factors that influences and enriches the rhythm in Ahmed Mater’s full collocations of poems. Having carefully examined the poems, I have discovered that the Ramal Meter is the most dominant one in his poems, followed by the Rajis Meter, and then the rest of meters.In his poems, the rhyme has played a significant role in enriching the rhythmic structure of his text. The study shows that the poet, Ahmed Matar, banking on his linguistic and stylistic ability, has utilized a great number of stylistic features, such as repetition, foregrounding, back grounding, paronomasia, antithesis, and the like in an attempt to add artistic touches to his poems. To sum up, this study has focused on one of the most famous poets in the Arab world filled with anger against their political systems and governments. I hope that this study could provide the reader with an explanation to the most important elements of the rhythmic structure utilized successfully by the poet.

Abstract: The cultural references in the poetry of the Iraqi poet "Adeeb Kamaladeen" has formed a significant presence through their abundant frequency. Such references are various in their frequency and difficult in their source. Some of them have had obvious presence while the others are less frequent in his poetic texts. The diversity of cultural references have made the research consisted of four chapters based on six references, Quranic reference is one of them that featured by the most prominent presence in the experience of "Kamaladeen". Such experience has varied in its role into two kinds. One of them has inspired its presence from Quranic story, while the other has derived it from Quranic verse. The second reference is the mystic one, by which the poet has derived the mystic heritage from mystic conditions and stages. He has also employed the prominent figures, such as "Annefery, Alhallaj, and Altawheedi" in his poetry. Whereas the other references are historic and mythological ones which have been included in one chapter, because they are less frequent than the previous two references. Regarding the historic reference, the poet has manipulated "Karbala incident" and "Imam Hussain", who is the the most important person in that incident, Iraq¬¬ - Iran war in 1980 and other wars, which followed. In connection with the mythological reference, the poet has employed several myths, one of them is "Gilgamish myth" which has formed a striking presence in "Kamaladeen's poetry" In addition, the poet has used the artistic and literary reference, that has been combined in one chapter, through which the poet has employed the most famous Iraqi and Arabic singers. He has also used Iraqi and Arabic poets and novelists, as well as foreigners through the literary reference. Hence, all these references have signified variety of the poet's education and his continuous acquaintance with multiculturalism that has consequently served his poetic experience.

Abstract: This research studies modernism of Abu Tammam on the basis of the theory of classical Arabic criticism which consisted of rules and conditions put by the Arab critics and applied by the poets to make their poetry eloquent and solid with clear and vivid meanings.But Abu Tammam was keen to deviate from all these rules and principles in his poetry. Al - Amidi considered him as a rebel against the common foot of poetry because he played on words in his poems and became fond of rhetorics and figures of speech which he used extremely. Consequently,his poetry was corrupted by the heavy use of antithesis and paronomasia. Thus, he became the target of a strong movement of criticism that represented the conflict between the old and the new.Classical Arabic poetry was a summary of the experiences of the old poets. It directly expressed the social, cultural and intellectual aspects of their life. It was characterized by features of clarity of expression, agility and simplicity of language because it was natural and not superfacial. That was the case in the Arab poetry during the pre - Islamic time, beginning of lslam and the Ummaid era in addition to the majority of the poetry of the Abbasid era during which the way of living of the Arabs changed from nomadism to urbanism. Thus, there appeared a type of new Arab poets who had special knowledge and high education like Bashar Bin Burd, Muslim Bin Al - waleed and the most prominent of them was Abu Tammam.Modernism of Abu Tammam went far beyond the familiar in his illogical and unreasonable similies and metaphors. There was no appropriateness in his metaphor and no approximation in his similies. Besides, he played on words and used too much antithsis and paronomasia. He was good in some of them but not so in the others. That caused the Arab critics to attack him and refused his poetry which they said it deviated from the common foot of the Arabic poetry that was defined by Al - Marzooqi to have seven categories. any studies of criticism were conducted about Abu Tammam and his poetic school. This study is made up of an introduction,three chapters and conclusions. Chapters one and two consist of three sections each. Chapter three contains two sections.The introduction highlights modernism of poetry as viewed by the classical Arabic criticism both literally and as a term. It also reviews the concept of modernism since its appearance till the time of Abu Tammam. Chapter one is interested in the questions of imitation and nnovationin that Arabic criticism. Section one of the chapter shows the attitude of the linguists and narrators of the modern poetry, the position of khalef AL - Ahmar and his experience in criticism and the position of the critics of the classical poetry which they considered as the highest model that Arab poets should imitate and create in their poetry as a product of the individual liking. Section two is devoted to discuss modernism in relation to the theory of the foot of poetry that was represented in the seven categories as introduced by ALMarzooqi in the introduction of his book Commentary on Diwan of Ardor of Abu Tammam. The section also explains the principles of the poetic imagery in similie and metaphor and the role of poetic imagination to bring about new images and novel meanings that reflect beauty and psychological effect.Section one of chapter two discusses modernism in the poetry of Abu Tammam and the rules of the poetic language in the theory of Arabic criticism. The section also shows what was accepted and what was not in his language. The section shows how Abu Tammam, very heavily, used the rhetorical patterns especially antithesis and paronomasia where he was unsuccessful in some of them and good in others. Section three tackles the poetic meaning and the logical and mental characteristics that should be available in these meanings to be correct so that the poetry be undertood. This was agreed upon by the old Arab critics such as Qudama Bin Jaafar, Abi Helal Al - Askari, Abd Al - Qadir Al - Jirjani, Hazim Al - Qirtajinni and others. The section includes description of the meanings and their relation to the levels of description as far as exaggeration and excessiveness are concerned in that Qudama Bin Jaafar considered excessiveness as the best of the two schools of description.Finally, the section discusses ambiguity and complexity as products of corrupted poetic composition. Chapter three deals with modernism in the rhetorical image, modernism and the changes modern poets add to poetry in this concern. Modern poets paid more attertion to the form rather than to the meaning in their poetry. That led to the appearance of a new poem with specific features particulavly concerning the rhetorical image that depended on similie and metaphor. The poets started using these styles in new ways that were unfamiliar to the Arabic liking and taste. The first section of this chapter deals with similie and description and the rules put by the Arab critics to achieve approximation between the two sides of the similie; otherwise the similie would be exotic and not allowed. Abstract: This study starts with a preface discussing four points : AlAamily translation, the reason behind calling his book (Tasneem), and his method in Tafsir, the meaning of Secrets according to Al - Aamily, and the meaning of expressions in linguistics and terminology. In the first chapter (the secrets of words in Koran) the researcher discussed the linguistic meaning of the word in three sections : firstly the reason behind choosing a word in particular, secondly the secret of morphological form, thirdly the secret of definiteness and indefiniteness. The second chapter (the secrets of sentence in Koran) studies the meanings of the sentence and it is of two section : the first one is the secret of declarative sentence and its processes as deletion, backward and forward, and restriction. The second section is the secrets of the construction of the sentence as the imperative, negative, interrogative, and proclamation sentences. The third chapter (the secrets of the text and Koran) discusses the meanings and linguistic structures and rhetorical themes in more than a phrase as being intervented and the text title. It is of three sections : the first one is the secret of apostrophe. The second is about conjunction and disjunction. The third is about the secret of agreement in which the researcher mentioned the meanings of agreement and holy Koran. Research methodology : The researcher’s method in this study is choosing the subject followed by a general overview about it. After that the study shows the opinion of AlAamily to see what is the new addition. Results : The researcher has ended with recognizing the meaning of the secret according to Al - Aamily in linguistics and the reason behind it. Also the researcher detected the secrets of the word, sentence, and the text and what purposes and meanings they have and connecting all these things with external facts because the interpreter sees that all of these recording words of Koran express universal facts in existence because it is an inspiration from the Almighty Allah. The researcher also tried to expose several rhetorical themes such as clarifying forms of the text like apostrophe, conjunction, and agreement among Ayat by applying the modern textual norms of sentential multiplicity, cohesion and coherence. Abstract: The first chapter explored how actions are represented in Alia Mamdouh’s novels and consists of three sections. The first section examined transferring of real action (non - fiction) into words by containing real dates and events. The second sections explored biographies which is an account of someone’s life. The third section explores fiction which is nonrealistic events and actions.The second chapter investigates description. This chapter is divided into three sections. The first section studies description of reality. It focuses on the external (physical) description of people and places. The second section looks at character (person) description. The final section explores the description of imaginary characters and events which do not exist in the real world. The third chapter focuses on focalization. The first section of this chapter is internal focalization which is based the narrator. While the second section discuses external focalization which is divided into Palpable and abstract.This thesis is accompanied with a conclusion that summarizes the results of the research. As well as, an appendix which gives an introduction of the novelist (Alia Mamdouh) including her biography and major works that are used in this thesis. It also contains a table listing all the actions, description and focalization within these works. The narrative representation in its different shapes, forms, and patterns is widely present in people’s lives. Thus, it is open to the different requirements of writing and rhetoric through which thoughts and beliefs are conveyed to the reader. It highlights the diverse concepts which shape the way a narrative is written. One of the most prominent concepts that is taken into consideration is The Narrative Representation and how to embody it in novels. Since it is contains the problem, similarity, visualization, conversation, impersonation and embodiment of what is present in the human mind into a narrative format. In other words, how to transform what can be imagined into live words in the form of narrative. This thesis will discuss the narrative in Alia Mamdouh’s novels and is divided into an introduction, three different chapters and an appendix. Each of the first and second chapter contains three sections while the third chapter contains two only. The introduction discusses what representation is in terms of definition and its different concepts. Then it moves on to reveal its origin starting with Plato then Aristotle and ending with the Arab philosophers such as Ibn Rushd, Ibn Sina and al - Farabi. Representation is then discussed by the view of scholars of Arab Rhetoric such as al - Jurani, Al - sakkaki and Hazim Al - Qartajanni. Then it is investigated in the Orientalism study. There is a discussion of the relationship between representation and narrative and finally the development of the narrative representation.
