Abstract: Environmental studies have gained great interest after a great deal of warning by international organizations. The ecological system is a matrix of integrated interactions within a specific environment.To know the properties of each element in this system is very important to keep the balance of.the ecological system and to rationally deal with these elements to avoid any deterioration.,~ Changing the essence of these elements quantitatively and qualitatively leads to a disturbance of relations between the elements of the system which is called the ecological imbalance.Man has played an important role in making ecological problems which lead to the destruction of the environment that decreases the reproducibility of the earth.The population explosion 1s one main factor behind the environmental deterioration so rapidly.Also, the negative aspects of the industrial revolution and the absence of the environmental planning are good factors. Man was able to manipulate nature for his benefit without paying attention to the severe consequences of this maltreatment. In this case education plays a crucial role to correct human behavior and provide him with the necessary skills. Environmental awareness could be a good course in and out of school. Aims of the studyThe study aims at the following : 1. Constructing an environmental awareness scale in the students of the departments of geography in Iraq.2. Applying this scale on the targeted students.3. Whether or not there are statistically significant difference concerning the scale.4. Whether or not there are significant differences according to the 1 sex factor.5. Whether or not there are significant differences according the subjects achievement.6. Whether or not there are significant differences according to the environment variable. 7. Whether or not there are significant differences according to the college variable.Limitations of the study : The study is limited to the follovving : 1. Department of Geography - colleges of Arts and Education - Universities of Baghdad, Al - Mustansiriya, Basrah, Mosul and Kufa.2. Curriculum related to the environment. sample of : A. Departments of Geography staff in point number 1.B. Fourth year students.C. Post graduate students.4. Academic year 2003 - 2004.Procedure1. The Sample The sample of the study is represented by the fourth - year students, postgraduate students and some professors of the departments of geography - colleges of Education and Arts in five Iraqi universities. This includes 500 students, 24 postgraduatestudents and /4/ staff members. 2. Tools The researcher has adopted two tools : Questionnaire and interview.3. Validity and Reliabilitv The researcher has adopted the techniques of validity and reliability. As far as reliability, the researcher adopted the split group and test, re - test techniques.4. The final Administration After checking validity and reliability, the final administration was conducted on the main sample of the study which includes : 377 fourth - year students, 24 post - graduate students and 85 staff of the dept. of geography to measure their environmental awareness.A link should be found between science and cause.5. Continuation of environmental information supply should be achieved.6. Films and slides on the problems of the environment should te supplied to achieve a link between theory and practice. 7. The principles of environmental education should be set up from primary classes upwards.The researcher has suggested a similar study on high schobl students and a comparative study between this one and similar studies in some other countries. The scale also can be given to higjh school teachers to measure their environmental avvareness

Abstract: The scientific education it is the main operator to whom testing with successful the Institute in setting teacher, in spit of important of scienti fie education with general and viewing in special case to selling teacher, we need to research from this type in this time , e need to guide to make a vision to student and supporting truce to student in training work : So the research take the following objects : I - Know view items to whom take i• - the teachers in teachers institute 2 - Know view items to whom take it students the final classes in institute of teachers3 - Evaluation of view on questioners filed that special with teachers4 - Know on application items to whom interest students of the final class5 - Know on application items to whom interest students in final classes6 - Evaluation.application in questioners filed special in teachers Basic sample contains ( 40) teachers in final classes to this institute with rate ( I 0.09 % ), we need to put two questioners for training education for students of the final classes, second application questioners that special with same of sample.Research of faithful questioners, and prove test that special with teachers ( 0.93 ) and questioners of view that special with students (0.85) , with teachers ( 0.89 ) , with students ( 0.69 ).And using in operating setting research tool in analysis of results that it is : Percent rate, medium, standard deviation, Kronbakh equation, T - test, probable medium, weight percentage. And be summary of important results lo whom arriving research as follow : - Result of special view of questioners with teachers : so that kind was proved of two items (teachers have a god personality) and (urging students about follow subject study) and this case be found in probable medium ( 2.75 ) and percentage weight ( 91.666 ) so was paved the first rank.Meanwhile item occL~~; : ~~ TV films record about modules teaching in subject (1liat\ii;,i;lt')"spe 'i I student), last rank in questioners with probable rnediunl( k : 4~i\·J", we·' 1t percentage ( 47.5 ).Secon The result that\spe~,~~l - i"~t / teaching : this item ( acq11ired the confidence lo damag1'l;,'1J¢ft· to whom being in application ) and this is foutid in objective view , ability medium ( 2.266), percentage weight ( 95.555).Meanwhile another item ( view of Tv. I - There is difference statistics between teachers responsibilities about teaching of final classes in teachers institute in objective filed, but did not found any differences between this objectives in view of student and study subject and substitute style to view and result of view in questioners.2 - There is differences with statistical reference between students in view operating of student of teachers institute in objective filed, meanwhile did not found any differences between it.Fourth : Result of questioners of application that special with teachers : - This item (Writing name of subjects and date on blackboard) and this is located in introduction of study , ability medium ( 4.35 ) and percentage weight ( 87.00).Either item ( care with opinions of students) and located in special filed to whom characterized the ~tudent, items ( testing students with replay about questioners in summary ) and ( with kind from tesLing to know properties student and kind of supporting that introduced to it) and ( linking questions with object study ) , all of it be located in summary operation , and this is found in last rank in questioners with same ability medium ( 3.275 ) and percentage weight ( 65.5 ).Fifth : Result of questioners applicants that special with students : - This item (kept on common system inside of class) and be locate and administrate class with ability medium ( 4.841 ) and weight ( 96.833 ).ln same time be item ( make student duties to sol some examinations inside of class ) and be locate in files of summary operation with ability medium ( 3.841 ) and percentage weight ( 76.833 ).Sixth : Result of questioners applicants to samples teachers and students of final classes.] - did not found any differences bet.veen teachers in operating application to students institute for teaching in differences of questioners that special with it.2 - the is differences statistical between student of final classes in !'perating appljcants in objects and properties to whom describe student. So, the education has a basic aim that is the growing of mind in creasing creativity. The human creativity is to bring the genuine of thoughts which there is no one precedes the individual, and these thoughts must have the full serious ness, and the ability offlexibility and solving problems. So, from this aspect, the human interest in creativity came. Whether in advanced states as result to problem of these societies, or to move them to a cultural level, high in regard to the previous level for each nation, through adoption of creation of all humanity. Unhitch problem from the inside of our society and the need to i activate their auto. Power and create its invention power so many of the educators, the specialists call to the care to inventors, the responsible, the 1aspects, and confinnation to the necessity of finding a sufficient references for helping on education and growing of invention to them for they are the nucleus of advancement and rising of home and humanity.The need has became calling to the interest in curricula and developing then, aiming at improvement of thought production during programs, subjects, and devices of education which cause to excitement and : readiness of invention power to reach to a best level of gift. It is necessary to explore these power and improve them through an objective device in order to put the action and answers and knowing the extent of the effect of psychological bases to curricula on such a type of thinking during the building of a device to such psychological bases and their ' j power extinct on creation of this thinking a side from other change that have a clear effect on the intentional thinking.This study is considered as the first, scientific field study, we try to expose the power of thinking of invention and the relation with psychological bases of curricula, whether in Iraq or Arab homeland in respect to the researcher understanding, so, i intended the following research : 1. Building a standard to expose on creatively thinking and its, measure.2. Building a standard to expose on the psychological bases and their measures.3. Finding a relation between the creatively thinking and the psychological bases.4. Knowing on the differences between the in creatively thinking and the sex variant type and the parents learning. As for to achieve the aims of research, the researcher tried to follow i the scientific way building the two devices : the creatively thinkingcriterion, she collected the paragraphs of criterion from the literatures and previous studies which has a relation with creatively thinking, then the number of paragraphs is defined to ( 19) paragraphs with in secondary tests, then the paragraphs are submitted to the committee of experts, and I after modification and jointing, two paragraph is omitted. I Them the criterion is applied to a sample of students of (500) students (male & female) to submit the criterion paragraphs to a statistical analysis, that specific data were prepared for answer. After that, according to the truth in outside quality and to the truth of building and counting the distinctive forces and the internal coordination, as a result of this style, l have excluded (4) paragraphs whether the paragraphs can not enjoyed with a distinctive force or the relation of them is weak in respect to the whole degree then the number of paragraphs, of the creatively thinking standard became (13) paragraph.The second criterion which I have collected its paragraphs during an exploring design open to the secondary school students a side from, the collection of paragraphs of literary studies and the previous one. The researcher have get (40) paragraphs. Putting to them a triple estimated scale (accord to, seldom, accord not to). Then the paragraphs are exposed to a committee of arbitrators who took to amend some paragraphs and remaining on all paragraphs. After that, the criterion was applied to a group of students for the purpose of statistical analysis and counting of the distinctive force in power fainting on distinction or internal coordination. Three paragraphs have been excluded, which participated in power weakences on distinction or internal coo rdination. So, the criterionhas been formed from (37) paragraph. Which are full of demonstrative truth and the truth of building. And for counting the fixation of two criterions, I have depended on the way of test repetition, resulting the two devices became ready to apply.After that, the measure of power on creatively thinking and pyschological bases of curricula by the way of applying two devices on group of ( 400) students (male and female), by using the statistical analysis, the researcher has the following results : 1. There are differences of statistical reference between the average of sample in power criterion on creatively thinking and the thesis average. 2. There are differences of statistical reference between the sample average m the psyschological bases standard of curricula of preparatory stage in respect to their students.There are not differences of statistical reference between creativelythinking and sex.4. There are difference of statistical reference between the creatively thinking and the branch students.5. There are differences of statistical reference between the power on creatively thinking and the parents learning. 6. The necessity to take care of the creators.The most advices that the research wrote : 1. The necessity to take care of the creators and to follow them became the states of our world directed towards the growing of creative education.2. Take care of the curricula, the educational programs and the review of the traditional courses, which depend on, learn by heart and speaking.3. Advising the educators and teachers to give a freedom of thinking to students in education stages and universities. The important suggestions : 1. Make a procedure to identical study support in exposition on.the relation of some variant and features with the power on the creative thinking2. Building a training program aim mg to 1,>row the power of creativity and the help of excitement styles of creative thinking students.

Abstract: When man is created on earth, he hasn't all life needs that may enable him to resist the unknown and to challenge it practically in order to prepare quite happy life. Due to the continuity of his life and the expansion of the area that he is living on, the effects of theenviroment surrounding him has increased. As a result of those effects needs appeared. Needs are in the form of needs like fear, seeking for safety, necessity for food and the fulfillment of his soul requirements. He expressions which we call (arts). Without this m eans which man created to relax, he cannot family, tribe, state and empire.Here appears the role of art in the life of individuals and societies in order to cover the whole life which enables them to formulate their ideas aesthetically due to an accumulated skill. They acquire the ability to appreciate man's innovative expressions during different ages. One of those civilization is that of the Mesopotamia which we are not able to recognize it without its antiques and we may forget it.Art has a great effect in our life since it moderates and prepares it to have pure conceptual and aesthetic.Connotatious that are sometimes characterized with guidance and judjement which aim to educate and teach individuals. It is this concept that leads to paying attention to art and artistic herit~; : ~ wether it belong> to Iraq or the t,ra\ : i Nation or the Wc;rld. l [nks c : fi.its maturity cannot be completed and they cannot reach individuals without highly efficient executive means that makes the art education lesson and the art education teacher who has to practise his profession in the spirit of science and culture as aliving pattern which combines the past and the present to be a source of building a future that has the orginilaity of innovation and its aesthetic values.The educational and teaching foundations, with its different orientations, pay attention to art as education and aesthetic values that enable individuals to increase their consciousness l and to reveal their innovations so as to serve countries. One of the practical attention to the importance of the art education teacher and the methods of his training is the focus given upon him. This study has appeared to show, on field, the need to educate and teach the pupils waht fulfil the aim and objectives of the educational and the teachning institutions in Iraq by constructing a criterion for the preparation of art education teacher of which its probelm arises clearly since it lacks (quality and quantity because of the absence of the criteria to be dependent on in his preparation. Also, to make these institutions follow this criteria as a scientific approach to be considered in the progrmmes of the art education teacher preparation to become as a hand - book in his teaching task in intermediate and secondary schools in Iraq according to the aforcesaid situations. Construction of criteria for preparing Art's education teachers in Iraq. 2 - Knowing whether there are differentiations of statistical indication to the importance of the criteria in its final shape. within the individuals of the research sample according to the variant of the level of study as follows : a - Master vs. Doctor; b - Master vs. Bachelor; c - Doctor vs. Bachelor. Limits of the Study and It's ProceduresThe sample of the research is limited to the follwoing : 1 - Teachers of the college of Art Education Babylon University.2 - Teachers of the Department of Art Education in the College of Fine Arts - Baghdad University.3 - Teachers of the Department of Art Education in the College of Teachers - Basrah University.4 - Teachers of the Insitute of fine Arts in Basrah Governorate.5 - Teachers of Art Education in Intermediate and Secondary Schools 111 Basrah Governorate in 1996/1997.The study contains a theoret;cal framework which i1 eludes th~ tea - : hers preparation if! A - ~b and Islamic education and in Iraq. lt also includes the beginnings of the teaching of art education and its development in Iraq and in some of the Arab and world countries(comparison and analysis and some Arab and foreign studies totalling to (10) Arab studies and (9) foreign ones which are helpful to the results of the study methodalogically.In order to obtain the objective of the research, the researcher conducts the following procedures : 1 - A view - point questionnaire was delivered to a sample of Headmasters of the art education teachers totalling (30) headmasters and it includes three questions.2 - A view - point questionnair was prepared and distributed to a sample of teachers of the College of Art Education and the Departments of the Art Education in the Universities of Babylon, Baghdad, Mosul and Basrah which is totalling to (30) teachers.3 - Some previous stuidies and literatures, whose aims deal with the establishing of criteria and standards to develop the curricula and the methods folllow in the programms of teachers preparation, were taken into consideration.4 , A First - Formula questionnaire was prepared consisiting of (119) items distributed as ( 48) items for the scientific field, ( 45) items for the vocational field and (26) items for the cultural field. Then the questionnair was presented to a committee of expertsto prove the credibility of its items.After making the required modifications, it became ready in its final formula containing (104)items distributed as (45) scientific items, (35) vocational items and (24) cultural items, A scale was given to each item represented as (very important, only important, and less important), This scale was applied on the sample of the study which totals to ( 102) individuals distributed as (70) university teachers holding master and doctorate degrees, and (32) teachers of institutes, intermediate and secondary schools holding bechelor dergrees, In order to make sure that the steadiness of the criterion is trustworthy, the half - partitioning method is used since it is a favourable means that is adaptable to the nature of this research, It is calculated by three statistical equations so as to obtain the best degree for the steadiness of the items of the criterion, Thirty forms have been chosen renadomly from the total number of the forms where it valued (0,87) according to Guttman equation, (0,86) according to Rulon equation, and (0, 78)according to pearson equation, It was corrected according to Sperman - Brown equation where it values (0,88), Then the general average of the steadiness of these equations was calculated where it values (0, 87) which is regarded to be the final steadiness of the criterion, Getting this percentage indicates that the criterion has a high degree of steadiness in the response of the individuals of the research sample towards its items,The Statistical Means Used are as Follows : 1 - Percentages,2 - Fischer's equation to acquire the degree of the sharpness of the items,3 - Guttman, Rulon and Pearson equations to obtain the steadiness,4 - Sperman - Brown equation for correction,5 - The mean equation to ohtain the difference of assessment between the replies of the sample of masters and docotors, on the one hand, and the sample of the bachelors on the other hand,6 - T - Test to obtain the objective of the research secpndaly, The Most Important Results of the Research are1 - (39) itmes from the total (45) items of the scientific criterion - art education are taken into consideration, The most important items include the following : a - He shows the importance of art education in the life of individuals and it enables him to clarify it to others,b - He has knowledge about the formations of the islamic and enviromental ornaments to help his pupils to adapt the adequate elements of design, c - He has been acquainted with the philosophy and the educational objectives of Iraq,2 - (33) items from the total (35) items of the vocational criterion - art education areconsideered. The most important items consist of the following : a - He has the ability to convey the artistic skills from and to the learner throug~ the analysis of art works.b - His ability to make the participating pupils effective in writing, imagination and performance in the atrical show.c - He is acquainted very well with different methods of teaching.3 - (22) items from the total (24) items of the cultural criterion - art education ate considered. The most important items include the following.a - He masters well one of the foreign languages in order to read about what is new in the world arts.b - He beleives in the originality of the Iraqi civilization and its artistic heritage.c - He beleives and works to obtain the Arab NAtion objectives through bis artistic works.4 - By the assessment of the mean of the general criterion items to the replies of the study sample, it has appeared that there is an agreement among their view points that the general assessment is about (good and fair). This is indicated by drawings.5 - To obtain the objective of the research secondly, the statistical results indicated that, by u·;ing the T - test, there ar~. no differe : i~itations of statist;cal indication ·vheiher at the level in indication (0.05) or (0.01) between (the sample of the masters and thesample of the docotrs), (the sample of the doctors and the sample of the bachelors) and (the sample of the masters and tile sample of the bachelors). This matter sustains the results of the research in the outcomings of the results of the first objective of thisstudy. The study makes some recommendations of which the most important ones are : l - The necesity to consider the items of the general criterion - art education in th programmes of the preparation of the art educaton teachers.He must pay them enough attention to be within the plan of his curricula in th college and departments of art education. He must give them scales approperiate wit the need of the college or the educational insititution in which he teachs his lesson 2 - These criteria (scientific, vocational and cultural) for the preparation of the education teachers are considered as a complete uint that credits the meaning of t concept of preparation.3 - These art education teachers whose do not graduate from the colleges and departmen of art education should participate in training courses prepared to such purpose order to elevate their scientific artistic cultural potentialities, abilities and efficien yon the light of what appears in the items of this criterion.
