المستخلص: شهدت حياة المراة المعاصرة تطورا في تصاميم الاقمشة النسائية وجاء هذا مصاحبا تنوع الحاجات الوظيفية مما ساعد على تداخل وامتزاج اشكال وعناصر تصميمية مختلفة لا تعبر عن البيئة العراقية. مما استبعد ذوق المراة عن المنتج المحلي الذي يعد خاليا من اي سمة وظيفية تع | Contemporary woman's life witnessed a development in women's cloth designs accompanied with the variety of functional needs which helped in the intervention and mixture of different designing forms and elements that did not belong to the Iraqi environment. As a result, the woman's taste was eliminated from the local product which was void of any functional merit expressing the society (women's) sense of taste and its non - association with the cultural heritage originality of Mesopotamia arts and that what made the cloth designer in Iraq pose his designing ideas eliminating and subjecting the Iraqi environment components according to the functional and aesthetic purpose. From this point the idea of studying the research topic (Women's Cloth Designs and Their Relationship with the Environmental Variable) stemmed. The problem was defined as what was the relation between women's cloth designs and the environmental variable in contemporary Iraq? The research contributed through its significance in the following : - 1 - Identifying and studying the effect of the environmental variable on women's cloth designs. 2 - Developing the functional and aesthetic performance among the designers of texture factories. The research aims included the following : - a. Revealing women's cloth designs through their relationship with the Iraqi environment (items of natural, social, cultural and heritage environment) in conformity with the utilizing function. b. Defining the constructive designing relations suitable in women's cloth designs. The research limits were specified by addressing women's clothes produced locally in texture factories that belonged to the country within the period (1980 - 2000). The second chapter dealt with the theoretical frame including four sections. The first section was (The Variables of the Iraqi Environment through History and Their Impacts on Women's Cloth Designs), the second one (Cloth Designs through Historical Ages in Iraq), the third (The Cultural Heritage and Folklore in Iraq) and the fourth (Constructive Relations in the Designing Unit). Then came the indicators of the theoretical frame and previous studies. The research procedures were defined within chapter three by following the descriptive analytical method of research population which mounted (60) models of the productions of Iraqi factories and establishments for women's cloth designs. While the sample test was purposive mounting (20) models. As to analysis tool, it was represented by the analysis form according to the scientific method and then the analysis of sample models and their discussion. Afterwards, the research results were arrived at, the most important of which were : 1. It was shown that the designer had taken design items from the natural environment rather than from the items of social environment and the mixture between both environments in one design was clear. 2. The absence of the cultural factor and the cultural awareness in women's cloth designs, especially at North region. 3. The facial formal non - adjustment was shown with the functional performance. 4. The weakness in activating the role of constructive designing relations (elements, bases and relations) in a way contributing in attracting the learner (the woman). Whereas the recommendations were : 1. Taking care of continual developments in cloth designs basing on the cultural heritage and reformulating it in a contemporary style characterized with novelty and originality

المستخلص: ان ما يكسب العراق وتراثه اهمية متزايدة، كونه واحدا من اقدم المراكز الحضارية في تاريخ الانسان، فقد شهدت ارضه اقدم التجارب والمحاولات الانسانية في شتى صنوف المعارف والعلوم والافكار والاداب، وحقق العراقيون منجزات رائعة في حقل البناء والعمارة والفنون والص | As Iraq is one of the oldest civilized centres of the human history, this gives it an important among other countries. Its land witnessed the oldest human experienas and attempts in different fields of science and art. Iraqis recorded a significant achievement in the fields of building arts, industry and architecture, among these, building was distinguished in Iraq over the ages. Although these building vary in its forms and a functions, houses revealed to be distinguished in its antiquity and variety, also the basis of its planning and architecture and material was the basics of construction other building like temples towers needed for endowment.One of the most essential and formal aspects in Iraqi old or traditional houses is revealed by the high capability of the Iraqi architecture to understand the lard and the environment which represented together by weather and social life, in addition to the functional needs of the house according to the available building materials to achieve a best useful houses for one or group families in cities.The following study is an attempt to reveal the relationship between the formal aspects in design the internal spaces of Baghdad traditional houses and the surrounded environment according to the aesthetical performance to a contemporary internal design in its originality and cultural contents.The research depends on theoretical and analytical studies for the spaces of some Baghdad traditional houses. The study includes four chapters.The first chapter studied the problem important, aims and elefintion of basic term used in this study.The second chapter studied the previous studies and the theoretical background which falls in four sections : The first section studied the notion of from in internal design and the factors which affected it. The second section studies the internal spaces and its formal elements. The third section studied the effect of the environment on the internal design of the Baghdad traditional hoses.In section four there is an explanation of the formal aspects of the internal design in Baghdad : traditional houses.Chapter three is specified to the descriptive method was used to a analysis the sample of the study and represented by two samples of Baghdadi traditional houses in addition to an observational list and analyses core list according to the inductions of the theoretical background because trust of which are used as a variable in anglicizing chapter four includes the results of samples analysis according to which, the conclusions where stated which explain the relationship of the formal traditional aspects with the surrounded environments. Finally the researcher stated a number of suggestions and recommendation for further studies

It was the first chapter, including the research problem and its importance, objectives and boundaries as well as to determine the terms and illustrated the problem of the following research question : How to contribute to the development of functionality through the intensification of the devices increase the effectiveness of physical fitness?And it was the aim is to reach through the intensification of technical design appropriate to the platform for the development of effective functioning of the organs of physical fitness.It originated during the study as the importance of this work to build a foundation of knowledge and a theory of the concept of intensification and the development of functionality to address the design of physical fitness. And the limits of the study included the design of mechanical fitness, and traded in local markets of the city of Baghdad and manufactured during the period between the years 2007 - 2008.The second chapter, such as the conceptual framework of the topic and included a three - Investigation came under the title of the first (development and design), while the second was on my b (fitness equipment), while the third topic dealt with the subject (Anthropometry and industrial design).And in accordance with the above indicators were adopted by the outcome of reference sources and Arab and foreign briefed by the researcher as well as on field visits to the fitness rooms and shops selling sports equipment and interviews with the owners with the expertise and jurisdiction.The third chapter has included the actions of research and methodology, as the approach adopted in the process of historical description and analysis of samples, which represented the percentage (33.3%) of the research community. While Chapter IV describes the analysis of samples taken.While Chapter V contains the results, the most important : 1. Technological development has the possibility of adding different regimes within the same organ in the light ofwhat's effective and functional as well as to stimulate thedesire of the user. 2. Technical developments have had a significant impact in promoting the intensification of the career possibilities in the composition of the raw materials available and the different methods of linking.This chapter included the conclusions reached by the study is perhaps the most important are : 1. Industrial designer was able to express their potential in creativity and development through investment and technological development work on the technical and exploitation in all levels of design and production, which form a crucial element in the success of any design. 2. 2. Systems such as different types within the organ, which results in a difference in the performance an actor in the design patterns to add excitement to achieve the vision and motivation through the design resulting from the performance difference and diversity in some designs.A researcher and then a set of design was the most important pillars : 1. That the adoption of a technical career condensation on the basis of scientific theories and results in performance and functional diversity through the effective capacity and potential performance, which recorded the highest level of interest and benefit to the user. 2. Intensification of the use of technology to achieve the goal of functional industrial design to reduce the high cost byhighlighting the potential of each part of the device to perform two or more, resulting in shortening of the space,which can be filled and then storage and ease of use. 3. Antherubomtrip Arcnomkip and the adoption of the human body in the design of fitness equipment gives a betterperformance as well as the safety and security to the user. 4. Should be designed to keep pace with technological developments and technology in the production of new materials and composition, and the possibility of deploying them in the design to achieve the performance and the best aesthetic and functional. Researcher has spared no effort in the recruitment of these cornerstones design of the study body of a design proposal for the physical fitness.

المستخلص: تتناول هذه الدراسة الدلالات التعبيرية لتصاميم اقمشة الاطفال في العراق من عمر6 - 12 سنة، والتي اكدت الدراسات الحديثة على اهمية دورالدلالة في تحديد الاتصال المرئي والحسي مابين المرسل والمتلقي (الطفل)، لما تتضمنه من معان تعبيرية وخصوصية وظيفية ليس من الناح | The present study deals with the expressional significance in designing children fabric in Iraq within 6 - 12 year. However, recent studies in this field asserted the importance of the significance role in identifying the nature of communication between the sender and the receiver (the child). It includes an expressional functional meaning shot only in the performance role but, also in the ascetical and artistically role if it has been designed according to scientific studies.Modern designs have been emphasizes on the child and this abilities , interest and tendencies (mentally psychologically and emotionally in the process of design and perform it on printed fabric, in away that makes the child have essential care this process and how to employ the expressional meaning, which has the ability to send the child to the target and the ability to recognize and understanding those meaning i.e. to perform its functional and aesthetical purposes. In conclusion it can achieve the aim of designing idea especially when this idea express the child's environment social , civilization in additional to the Iraq identity and folklore.Accordingly , this study comes reveal the nature of expressional significances in designing the child's fabric, within 6 - 12 year because this age is very important to construct the child's character and his body brain.The first chapter of this study includes the problem which appear the expressional significances in designing child's fabric and the suggested designing which employ these significances. the material understudy were chosen from Iraqi markets during the year 2005 - 2008.Chapter two consists of four sections the first one study the child's fabric as well as the colors and forms section two studied the expression and its meaning according to colors forms and expressional significance and function section three studies the aspects and the stages of recognition development and the basis used in designing and child's fabric. Then the section identify the most important indications of the theoretical back ground and precious studies.Chapter these includes the procedures of the research and the analytical methods being used in the study. The population here represented by 62 designed sample 25% , of the whole population were chosen debility as a sample of the research which concluded by 15 designed samples. These samples were analyzed according to analytical list constructed by the researcher as a tool of the research after it has been validated and granted it readability by the experts and cooper formula.In chapter four the 15the designed samples were analyzed and the conclusion were stated in chapter five which were as follow : 1 - cloth plays a big role the features of the used fabric because the texture adds an aesthetical and functional to the designed fabric.2 - Colors has an essential role to appear the aesthetic of designed forms and achieve symbolic and aesthetical dimensions.3 - Most of the items being used in designing is either from animal nature or a words written in foreign langue’s which in conclusion lack the environment, civilization and folklore of Iraqi child.4 - Most of the significances being concluded from the usage of the designed item were either symbolical or iconic , while most of the designing lack the symptom.5 - The styles of executive , designing , engineering and abstraction were mostly used in the most while factual style were less used in relative with the other style.In chapter five, the second aim were achieved by setting suggested designing followed by the suggestions , recommendation stated by the research and finally the references and appendices used in the research.
