المستخلص: Education is a reflection to society background, philosophy and history, as well as its development and horizons for its future prospects and aspirations. In this respect, the Japanese experience has become an example that should be followed to achieve improved didactic and scientific performance. This success has been achieved so quickly that it has made Japan one of the most advanced countries. Though having a small area, tough geographical conditions and high population density, and lacking raw materials, Japan has managed to make the brains of its citizens a substitution to face lack of natural and materialistic resources. This has positively reflected on its economy growth and on its social, educational, and cultural development. There are two reasons for selection of this topic (Education in Japan 1768 - 1912) : first, it is one of the most successful experiences in the world since everyone agrees that the Japanese experience and its didactic development is an integrated and exceptional human effort which has drawn the attention and interest of the entire world. Japan, the Asian country, has broken the rule that development is associated with the West and there is no hope to enjoy development unless a person is a foreigner or an expatriate. So, this experience deserves not only to be studied once; rather, many studies should deal the educational policy of Japan. Second, most academic studies on Japan have focused on the political and economic sides and overlooked the social side of which education is the most important pillar and the effective channel in the state policy and community. To underline this, most political and economic problems are attributed to education problems. Besides, development in developed countries is considered an equilateral triangle (political, economic and social “educational” development). It is known that development of the social aspect positively reflects on the political and economic aspects, and vice versa. Thus, education is pivotal in the development process in any developed country including Japan. The period covered by the thesis is 1868 - 1912; the first date (1868) is the date of accession of Emperor Mutsuhito (1868 - 1912) to the throne. The reign of this Emperor is known is Meiji. He was committed to the fifth principle of the Imperial Charter Oath : “Knowledge shall be sought throughout the world so as to strengthen the foundations of imperial rule”. This Charter marks the end of two centuries of solitude. It has made Japan open to international and regional countries. The second date represents end of the Meiji Era where Japan reached to an advanced stageof education development. Japan completed the foundation of the education structure starting from kindergartens to imperial universities. The hypothesis that the thesis deals with is an attempt to explore and analyze data and information about the development of education in Japan up to 1912, and review its basic elements and key factors of its rise. It also explores the effect of struggle between traditional and modern education, and plans developed by the government and stance of the Emperor to these plans. The researcher adopted the scientific, analytical and historical approach, and tried to reconcile between the historical sequence and unity of subject to reach objective and accurate answers. The thesis consists of four chapters, conclusion and annexes. The first chapter deals with roots of education in Japan up to 1868. It involves three topics : the first one tracks development of education during the reign of Nara and Heian (710 - 1185), changes in the reigns of Kamkura and Muromachi (1185 - 1568), and reign of Azuchi Momoyama (1568 - 1600). The second topic include education in the era of early Tokugawa (1600 - 1853); it shows the educational policy adopted by the shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa (1603 - 1615) to reform education; explores his disputes with opponents; reviews the effect of solitude of Japan of education during the years 1616 - 1786; and outlines the effect of tribal schools and First Opium War on education (1787 - 1853). The third topic focuses on reviewing development of Education in the Tokugawa Era (1853 - 1868), outlining the effect of Perry expedition in wakening up the Japanese nation of the dormant Chinese thinking, directing them to explore mysteries of modern western education and sciences (1853 - 1868), and getting acquainted with the role of foreign missionaries and Japanese scholars in the development of education (1859 - 1868) and their role in introducing modern sciences which had contributed to preparing Japanese education elite that, in turn, encouraged Japanese to the west, resulting in increased scholarships to the west and Europe to get closer picture of the development of modern science (1863 - 1868).The second deals with the beginnings of modern education in Japan (1868 - 1877). It includes three topics; the first involves the attempts to reform government education as a result of a call by the Meiji Emperor in 1868, and the effect of his call to open old schools and seeking foreign assistance to develop and modernize these schools. The second topic deals with education modernization projects, including establishment of the Ministry of Education and development of the first Educational Plan (Gakusei), as well as the lwakura expedition and its impact on revising the Educational Plan and encouraging women education and establishment of educational associations. The third topic copes with teacher preparation, establishment of normal schools for female and male teachers, development of curricula, and problems facing implementation of the plan.Chapter three tackles establishment of the Japan University and development of education plans (1877 - 1885). It includes three topics. The first topic involves establishment of Japan University and development of a proposed second National Education Plan (1877 - 1880). It also includes an overview of the impact of People for Liberty Movement and stance of the Emperor of this Movement. Topic two deals with the steps for the review and development of the third National Education Plan (1880 - 1885). Topic three involves development of the fourth Education National Plan (1885 - 1890), its announcement, implementation and stance of the Emperor to it. Chapter four tackles development of modern education in Japan (1890 - 1912). It includes three topics; the first highlights development of the education system in primary schools by issuance of new legislation. These include kindergartens and primary and secondary schools. The second chapter sheds light on the education system in the secondary schools, normal schools which graduate professional staff to meet the need of education expansion in primary and intermediate schools and vocational schools and its impact on the Japan economy, as well as, female high schools and their role on the education of women. The third topic deals with the development of high education institutions which are preparatory schools for those wishing to complete study after university; it also deals with private schools and imperial universities since these are high academic institutions for graduating social, economic and administrative elites to serve in and develop different state institutions. The researcher used considerable number of references, official Japanese documents developed in English by the Ministry of Education, as well as many other documents, letters, Arabic and English theses, periodic both magazines and newspapers. The Arabic and Foreign books, researches and studies, and foreign encyclopedias have contributed so much to this thesis by providing valuable information

المستخلص: The study is one of the most important and modest branches of historical knowledge for it is one of the most prominent aspects of Economic Activity. That historians and researchers ignored longly. In addition to that, most of the studies of Fatimid Egypt focuse on Political and Military Studies that exhaust most of the efforts. While we find that studies related to industrial activities are rare and mostly are quotations found here and there within the general researches and books that treat the history the Fatimid State. The Fatimid State period in the Egyptian Islamic history is considered one of the most important and flourishing periods of the Egyptian history in general because it witnessed important civilizational developments that changed the history in different aspects of life. Egypt has become really independent for a period of time of more than two centuries from the Abbasid Stade in Baghdad. It has become the center of the Shia Khaliphate that competes with the the Abbasid State. This of course has lead to speed up of the economical development because the resources of Egypt have been spent inside Egypt and not as has been always shared with the Capital Baghdad before the Fatimid era. This period of time participates in a good part of the development of the economic development in Egypt. It really gives us a vivid picture of the important aspects of the Egyptian Islamic history. Despite the fact that this period has been studied with focus but it still needs more especially for the industrial activities that characterizes this era. From this point comes the motivation for a study of this aspect (The Industrial Activities in Fatimid Egypt 358 - 567 A.H./ 969 - 1171 A.D.). The choice of this subject relays upon two reasons : the first one is that the research period is more than two centuries and consists of a big share of the Economic History of Fatimid Egypt, while the second is that the subject has never been studied separately in a way that covers all aspects of life specially industry. Therefore after dependence on Almighty God I have made the decision of introducing a study that covers all aspects of the industrial activities in Fatimid Egypt. The difficulties faced by the subject are the shortage in historical references and resources, for most of the resources as has been mentioned, deal with political, military and social aspects and not economy. Another issue that the researcher wants to refer to is the lack of balance between the number of pages of the chapters because of the differences in the availability of resources. According to the requirements of the research it has been divided into an introduction, a preface, four chapters and an epilogue that contains the most important conclusions that the research finds in addition to appendices, and references. The preface consists of three points : the first is related to industry and profession linguistically and idiomatically and the difference between industry and profession. The second point deals with the indications of both industry and profession in the Holy Quran and how the Holy Quran urges for work. The third point shows the importance of industry and profession in Islam and the prophets' industries and professions according to the Sunna and Ahlulbeit (PBUH) sayings. Chapter one is entitled (Factors that have helped to development and prosperity of industry in Fatimid Egypt). The chapter consists of three aspects : the first is the security aspect and consists of two parts : first securing the boarders with other states like Nobah and BiladulSham and facing challenges like Qaramita and the Turkish movement of Aftakin, as well as the elimination of Interior revolutions and insurgencies like Abu Rawah, Luatah Arabs, and Kanzuldawlah revolutions, while the second part deals with security services presented to citizens like professionals and tradesmen security and monitoring the markets. The religious aspect consists also of two parts : the first is Islamic tolerance with the Copts and the people of disclosure by the Fatimid caliphs, while the second part is related to commercial installations and facilities created by the Fatimid state to support industrial and craft professionals and merchants for their business practice and the conduct of their products such as Alkiesr, hotels, agencies, and stores and other facilities set up by the state. It provided the security and stability for the people of Trades and Crafts and traders both for those coming from outside the country or from within. As for the economic side it has included five parts : the first part is how the Fatimid state has worked to address the economic crisis that was experienced by Egypt since the year (352 AH / 963 AD), which lasted for three years. While the second part deals with Agriculture and Irrigation. The third was for livestock. Part IV deals with providing the necessary raw materials for various industries, as a metal, gold, silver, emeralds, alum and Nitrite, oil, timber and the like. The fifth deals with the monetary system in the Fatimid era, which includes dinar and the dirham and the Fils. The second chapter focused on the types of industries in Fatimid Egypt and its evolution, this chapter has been divided into two main aspects, the former devoted to the study of basic industries in Fatimid Egypt, as industry textile and food industry types and industry of soap, wax and Industry of Sparkling wines and other food industries, as well as the metallurgical industry as the industry of iron, copper and ivory, mosaics and timber industry, ships, glass, crystal, porcelain, paper - making and binding and leather goods, perfumes and medicines, and the arms industry. The second aspect in which we have considered the secondary industries, which include the popular industries and crafts Statistics that everyone needs to in their daily lives, as an industry and a few baskets, ropes and burlap, and other industries and crafts. The third chapter dealt with industrial and craft communities in Fatimid Egypt, where the correlation of the people of the industrial and craft markets sects in addition to regulations and fees that were imposed by the Fatimid state on those markets. This chapter also includes organizations craftsmen and artisans, it states these organizations initiated by the baseline, a boy and then a manufacturer and Usta "teacher" Captain "Captain sect" At the summit, there were both industrial and professional range head or official in charge known as the "Sheikh of the sect". It also deals with traditions that are controlled in the industrial and craft communities, as we talk about the close connection between the place of residence of industrial and craft activities, and at the end of this chapter comes to deal with the production and sale of goods. The fourth chapter is titled calculation and calculated (AlMuhtasib WalHisbah) and their role in the supervision and control of the industry in Fatimid Egypt. It also consists of two parts : The first comes to know the calculation Hisbah linguistically and idiomatically, and its importance in the Holy Quran and Sunnah and origins and evolution, then Mahzbo the Fatimid era, their deputies and their aides, and place of their council and their clothes and fashion. The second part has been allocated to mention the economic role of Mohtasib in Fatimid Egypt, such as his role and his aides in the supervision and control of markets and shops as well as other jobs in the health, social, moral and religious aspects, concluding this chapter by talking about the sanctions imposed on violators by the Mohtasib and his aides. In conclusion, I hope that I have been able to fulfill the requirements of writing this dissertation asking Almighty God the help and guidance.

المستخلص: The study of the history has not been regarded as thinking in the past that blocked the reality and its questions , but rather it has been considered as an introduction to build the selfness and to achieve change and renaissance. The history , to implement that goal should depend on a set of factors including the deep understanding of the history and balanced vision for the past. Actually, we do not bear responsibility of what others did ,but what they did formed a strong base for any new activity. Reading the history and leading the same way others has led , provide important lessons having to be considered , as Allah Said in Quran " Have not they walked on earth and see how was the consequence of those preceded them”. Of those people were 'Badryun" who formed a significance in the Islamic history and that reached to holiness among most of Muslims. This holiness gets from their prestige via defending the religion in the battle of "Badr". The Islamic History in all its phases endowed with outstanding stages led to important results, of those stages is the battle of "Badr" in the second year of immigration. This stage has been considered as a decisive one where Muslims appeared strong that bewildered Quraish and others who were enemy to Islam and that they should re - considered their instance toward Islam. Due to victories "Badr" achieved , the Badryun became and represented the basic base for Muslims at that time. "The Badryun" that represented a huge significance in the Islamic history reached to holiness stage among many Muslims , but they had been considered as a justice hugely adhered to legislative measures the Islamic religion called for. This holiness got from their prestige that clearly reflected in their defense their religion in the Battle of " Badr". The idea of circulating theory of justice of fellows has been started and the goal behind this circulation was to make the justification a convinced one to have " Maawya Bin Abi Sufyn" ascend "'Caliphs". This theory makes " Maawya Bin Abi Sufyn" equal to fellows of the messenger "Muhammad" (Peace upon him) despite his prestige and rank and despite "Maawya 's violations. The historic reality indicated that " Maawya Bin Abi Sufyn" had become " Caliphate " for Mulsims where many "Badryun" are still alive. This is naturally that the political benefit necessitates to circulate the idea to have all fellows justice

المستخلص: Islamic Sharia depends in great part in its principles - especially those imposed by Allah Almighty on his creatures - on worshipping. The last one depends on the principle of the good and the bad which Allah only knows and has determines to reform the condition of the people in life and hereafter. This is called worship. Islam has left a great space for man to ponder depending on his taste to see the good and the bad, and the right from the wrong, and has left him free in many of his behaviors that have no effect in the interests. This is called the permissible things. Attaining the knowledge of the stipulate principlesdepends on two important sources : the holy Quran and the Sunna taken from the narrators which is the hadith of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and his caliphs. The narrators are the human means who inform us the divine codes, from whom we take and apply them. Therefore, we should be confident that what they have given us is the right thing. On that basis the science of Almalrijal (biography) was founded. Many books were written in that basis like the book of Al - fahares, the treatise of Al - Razzi, the biographies of al - Kishi, fihrist Al - sheikh al - Toussi. During the last decade the academic studies tackled in the higher studies for the departments of history some of the books of the imamate history which is rarely studies in other histories. The importance of this study is in being a study of the approach of biography, which is (Al - fahares) which had not been studies. المستخلص: This Ph. D. dissertation is divided into four parts. The first part is titled (Ibn Taymiya in his true image). It contains three chapters, the first of which is titled (His social and scientific biography). The second chapter focuses on (The features of his time). It is divided into two main essays; the first of which is titled (His political and social time). The second essay is titled (His intellectual and religious time). The third chapter studies (His style with the others and the opinions of scientists about him). It contains two essays; the first of which is about the style of Ibn Taymiya with the others. The second essay is about the opinions of scientists about him. First, the opinions of those who praised and supported him are cited. Then the opinions of those who opposed and criticized him are cited. The second part is titled (The biography of the prophet (P) in the heritage of Ibn Taymiya). It includes four chapters, the first of which is titled (Ibn Taymiya's position towards the characteristics of the prophet (p)). The second chapter is titled (Ibn Taymiya's position towards the shrines of the propher (P)). The thirds chapter is titled (Ibn Taymiya's Offences towards the prophet of Allah (P)). The fourth chapter is titled (Ibn Taymiya's opinions about some of the Hadeeth quoted from the Prophet). The third part is titled (Biography of the Prince of the believers Imam Ali Bin Abi Talib in the classifications of Ibn Taymiya). It is divided into three chapters, the first of which is titled (Ibn Taymiya's position towards some of the Ayat of Quran which praise the prince of the believers). The second chapter shows (Ibn Taymiya's position towards the narrations praising the prince of believers). The third chapter discusses (What events Ibn Taymiya denied in relation to the prince of believers (P) until his martyrdom). The fourth part is titled (Biography of the holy lady Fatima Al - Zahraa and her infallible sons in the classifications of Ibn Taymiya). It is divided into three chapters, the first of which is titled (Biography of the holy lady and her two noble sons in the classifications of Ibn Taymiya). The second chapter illustrates (The biographies of the guiding Imams in the classifications of Ibn Taymiya). This chapter focused on four of the guiding imams; Imam Zain Al - Abideen Ali Bin Al - Hussein, Imam Mohammed Bin Ali Al - Baqir, Imam Jaafar Bin Mohammed Al - Sadiq, and Imam Mousa Bin Jaafar Al - Kadhim (P). The final chapter in this part shows the opinions of Ibn Taymiya towards the rest of the guiding Imams, starting with Imam Ali Bin Mousa Al - Ridha, then Imam Mohammed Al - Jawad, and his son Imam Ali Al - Hadi, his grandson, Imam Hassan Al - Askari, and concluding with the Imam of the age (may Allah precipitate his relief). This dissertation reached a number of conclusions, foremost among them : 1 - One of the main reasons for the extremism of Ibn Taymiya and his stray is the political, social and environmental conditions in which he lived. Those conditions had a negative effect on his personality, in addition to what he suffered as a result of not having any tribal ties. Nobody was able to find out his tribe, even those closest to him. His most known name, Ibn Taymiya, attributes him to a woman on whom there are no known facts to illustrate her personality, position and role. 2 - The opinions of Ibn Taymiya and his ideas show a clear disturbance in his personality, as he did not agree with any scientist of his time. In fact, he disagreed with all the scientists who preceded him, including those of his own Hanbali sect, and their Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal. The severity of disagreement with others led to the issue of prison sentences against him a number of times. 3 - In all of his opinions, there was not a trace of a scientific advancement or contribution to any field. Instead, his opinions clearly reflected a similarity, if not a match, to those of the Kharijites. He would attack his opponents with curses, name calling, and foul language. Then he would revile them as infidels, and confiscates their lives, families, and wealth. His fanatic opinions had a distinctive effect on some of the people. They were influenced by his opinions in a way that distorted the features of the Islamic religion. 4 - The opinions of Ibn Taymiya lacks the simplest elements of a scientific opinion. They were not built on sound scientific foundations. They only matched his whims. He would support a certain theory at some time, only to contradict it at other when the conditions of the time and trends change. That goes for his positions towards other scientists; he would support them when he agrees with them, and attacks them when he disagrees. 5 - The most distinctive feature in the heritage of extremism and hatred of Ibn Taymiya is his vile animosity towards the prophet and his descendants. He strayed from the general trend of the nation, by contradicting every praise and miracle that were ever mentioned about the prophet's family.

المستخلص: تعتبر الاسرات العلمية من الظواهر البارزة في الثقافة العربية الاسلامية منذ العصور القديمة ولقد شجع الفتح الاسلامي في المغرب بعد انتشار الاسلام ورسوخ الحضارة والفكر الاسلامي في المغرب العربي على ظهور العديد من الاسر العلمية التي كان لهم الدور البارز والمميز | The scientific families are considered is one of the prominent manifestations of the Arabic Islamic culture since old times. The Islamic conquest encouraged the emergence of many scientific families after the spread of Islam in the Mghreb. They had an eminent role in the history of the Arab Maghreb states. The scholars and scientists have got the care and the interests through the different Islamic ages not only of the authority but also the social strata. They are, as the Holy Scripture stipulates, the inheritors of the prophets. That made their circle lofty. Each family of the scientific families has a tangible impact in that. Among them there were families who succeeded science and art and knowledge. They assumed the highest social statuses, and their role was not sufficed to the other fields like trade, judiciary and ministration. That is attributable to the emergence of the role of families as the nuclei of the Islamic society in which the individual is raised and are cultivated. Among the many reasons that led me up to choose that subject is the care of scholars in old and modern times, and the impact of that in the various aspects of life in general. However, no study has tackled scientific families comprehensively. I endeavored to explain the features of the scientific families from which many scholars and scientists descent, in every field. Each one followed the course of that who preceded him, and it was among the reasons is to reveal the role of scientific families which were spread in the Maghreb state. The nature of the study requires the division into an introduction, a preface, four main chapters and an introduction as well as abstracts in Arabic and English. The Introduction tackles the geographic position of the state of Maghreb, and the states which were established there starting of the Aghalibiya state and ending with the Hafsiya state. Chapter Two was devoted to the study of the role of scientific families and the most prominent sciences with which they mastered. Chapter Three was devoted to the study of the impact of scientific families in the administrative, political and military aspects.Chapter Four is devoted to the study of the role of scientific families in the social and economic life. The Conclusion includes the summary of the findings and then the references and sources.

المستخلص: After the Second World War, Turkey has confronted hard economic conditions, in addition to the defeat of Germany in the Second World War; a matter caused great destruction in its infrastructure and economic facilities as well as great causalities. All these reasons caused shortage in the labor market; a matter affected the country reconstruction capabilities, especially after creating Berlin's wall, which means that the man power was required, therefore the immigration was opened to many countries including Turkey since 1961. Thus, the dissertation was titled (The Immigration of Turks to Federal Germany 1961 - 1990, historical study). The dissertation was divided into four chapters, introduction and conclusion. The first chapter viewed the course of the political situations in both countries after the Second World War until 1960). This chapter contained two inquiries; the first one consisted of three articles, the first one was (Turkey and the developments of the political internally and externally), while the second one came under the title (The Democratic party and establishing the Turkish state’s Firms 1950 - 1960). The third one was titled (Turkey and the foreign relations system 1945 - 1960). The second inquiry discussed the problems of the Second World War and its consequences on Germany, reconstruction plans and the economic developments during the period (1945 - 1960). The second chapter discussed the subject of Turks immigration reasons, motivations and attraction factors of the receiving country the first migration attempts, where it included three inquiries, the first on came under the title (The Turkish immigration, its motivations and reasons), while the second one was titled (The attraction factors of the receiving country (Federal Germany) for the Turkish immigrants). The third inquiry was allocated to the (First attempts of Turkish workers migration and looking for work opportunities in Federal Germany. The third chapter discussed the (Turkish - German migration agreement, its terms, conditions and reflections on the Turkish immigrants in Federal Germany 1961 - 1974), where it consist of five inquiries; the first one discussed the prefaces of concluding the agreement and its conditions, while the second inquiry was allocated to the (Agreement of 30 November 1961 and its legal frame and joint work mechanisms). The third inquiry continued a brief on the (Geographical distribution map according to the rates of the immigrants from the Turkish governorates 1961 - 1974). The fourth inquiry discussed the (Backgrounds of Turkish immigrants and categorizing them according to educational qualification, professional diversity and the internal and external effects. The fifth inquiry was allocated to the (First generation of Turkish immigrants, review to their social and living conditions in the new home 1961 - 1974). The fourth chapter was titled "increasing the level of the Turkish immigration to Federal Germany and the position of the federal government of it 1974 - 1990). It included four inquiries, the first one came under the title (The Turkish immigrants and the pressure of the German laws to restrict the migration), while the second inquiry has discussed (The problems of Turkish immigrants to Federal Germany). The title of the third inquiry was (The Muslim Turks immigrants between the acceptance of Germans and their rejects). The fourth inquiry, was (Interfaces activity of Turkish immigrants in Federal Germany 1974 - 1990). The dissertation has reached several conclusions, including the declined Turkish economy, which caused wide protest among the people against the economic policy of Turkish government that caused economic problems especially in countryside; in addition to the increase of unemployment rates, which led to immigration to Federal Germany. Turkish Kurdistan suffered from severe backwardness in comparison with other Turkish regions. They also suffered from forcing the displacement to the west areas of Turkey, which caused the emergence of several Kurdish movements in these areas, but all were depressed by the state, a matter led to the migration of those people to Federal Germany, escaping oppression and demanding better life conditions. The Turkish migration to the Federal Germany called the guest workers according to the Turkish - German agreement of 30 October 1961, to fill the gap of working hands, to reconstruct Germany. Women had a share in the Turkish migration, but less than the men. The Turkish migration to Germany continued in spite of the ban of employment in 1973, and the strict procedures imposed by the German government. Perhaps the most outstanding problem from which the Turkish migrants suffers was the identity and assimilation to the new home, where many Germans consider Muslims as unable to assimilate to the Western culture. The guest workers of the first generation were not considered immigrated workers, but they are formed with their families a Turkish cultural and economic community known as the ghetto. The Turkish migrants to Germany established societies and political organizations, which took the task of demanding their rights in Turkey. For the reverse immigration, a very little portion of the Turkish immigrates, especially the first generation decided to return home, while the second and third generations had preferred to stay in their new home. However, the decision to reunite the two Germanys had affected the level of Turkish migration to, and did not prosper until more than 3 years.

المستخلص: Unitd State of America interest in Arabian Gulf began since 1833 represented by send commissionaires as first step.It seeks to show its interest and provide services to strengthen the relations with people of Arabian Gulf through teaching and health services. The American preacher represented American interests and they established centers in Bahrain and other Arabian Gulfs regiins. American interests were developed after its oil companies were awarded the charter of Bahrain oil in the time when it had no true policy towards Arabian Gulf before Second World war It considered it as British domination region. After It particioate in the Second World War with Allies in 1939 its foreign policy started to move. Arabian Gulf entered the regional interests. The negotiations began with Gulf countries to give it military facilitations causing the competition between United States and Britain which its severity eased after end of Second World domination. Through the discussion of the dissertation it appears that the strategic location and huge oil treasures in Arabian Gulf attracted colonists and invaders which saw that liberation of the region from colonialism means eliminate all forms of exploitation and colonialism.Arabiam Gulf exposed to conflicts of greed colonial countries specially Britain an United States that connect Arabian Gulf interests with their monopoly oil companies to maintain the current situation and fight national powers and stand against advaanced thoughts to Arabian Gulf Area. The end of the Second World War is considered as turn point in the nature of American policy towards Arabian Gulf specially its military existence in Bahrain as resulted from Britain withdraw from Arabian Gulf in 1968 and abandin its historical responsibilities in this region. It occurred because of world changes in the end of the Second World War that led to appearance of United State power that entered the region as a strong competitor of Britain policy specially when direct colonialism became not worthy after appearance on indirect forms in which colonial countries maintain their interests without use of military force. Bahrain fears appeared from the results of Britain withdrawal from Arabian Gulf as it feared from Iran greed to control it. Iran use Britain withdrawal to have regional role to serve American interests in Arabian Gulf through American Administration introduce of Nixon principle based on balance of two pillars Saudi Arabia and Iran. Iran occupied the three Arabic islands in cooperation with Britain that controlled Arabian Gulf. Thus the political and military relations was developed after it acquired independency in 1971 where American officials said that Bahrain is the strategic ally out of NATO specially after the change of Iran regime, fall of Shah Mohammed Ridha Baglawy in 1979 and Iran - Iraq war.All that led to establisd Gulf Cooperation Council with Bahrain as Active member in 1981.Also the beginning of American military and political support as it considered it as Arabic organization that aims to make communication and cooperation between the six countries of the Gulf. The military and political cooperation was crystalized between United State and Bahrain as the six consequent and a center for protecting American interests in and a location to watch Iran movements in Gulf coasts. Also United States sought to support military and security defennses of Bahrain defense force. Thus several military and political agreements were made between United States and Bahrain. It provide Bahrin with weapons and military instruments. It supplied modern Bahrain army and strength it for stability of security and protect Bahrain regime from any conspiracy to overthrough it. This study aims to analyze political and military relations between United States and Bahrain in the period (1971 - 1988). The reason behind choosing this period as it is the date of independence of Bahrain in 1971 from Britain occupation that last for one hundred and fifty days in which it spread discrimination between the components of Bahrain and interfere in its internal relation. The year 1988 represented historical stage in Arabian Gulf with the end of Iraq - Iran War and the influence of American role in international politics in Arabian Gulf in general and in Bahrain policy specially. This study explained that the roots of American belongs to earlier stages of modern history. Bahrain state was distinguished by great strategic importance because its geographical relations as it locate on the strait that stretched along Arabian Gulf towards Hermiz strait and to Oman Gulf to represent cross point of communication roads among Asia Africa and Europe. All oil and non - oil exports and imports of the Gulf pass through this road. These reasons give Bahrain exceptional importance for the powers that seek to protect naval transport and oil fields or to attack it.It represent military importance used by United States to established military bases to secure its strategic interests. Also,Bahrain was an important center of energy after the discovery of oil and beginning of production in commercial amounts. Thus the aim of United States in continue flow of oil is behind the trends of American policy towards Bahrain. The policy of Bahrain was not an easy matter after independence. It face several difficulties such As Iran claims of sovereignty on Bahrain Islands. In the beginning the thought was at wide union that includes (Q atar, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Shariqa,, Aas Al Kahima, Um - elqiween, Fujairah and Ajman),but its union with UAE was not successful for many reasons such as the difference of ministerial representation and choose of the union capital. Finally it declare its independence as a sovereign state internationally and Arabic recognized. After overthrough of Shah of Iran in 1979 and declare on Iran Islamic Republic which works against American interests the attitude of Bahrain from new regime in Iran which contrast it ideologically and the reflection of influence of Islamic revolution in iran of internal situation because of Shiite majority that support Iran. These reasons made United States to find a solution to maintain it interests that cinfront risk after the fall of its ally Shah of Iran (the policeman of the gulf). It works on break a long war between Iraq and Iran to weaken the tow countries and deplete their powers. This war achieved many objectives for the United States the most important was to hold Soviet expansion towards Arabian Gulf. It works to find permanent military bases in Bahrain and other Gulf countries. Thus it works to militarize the region to defend its vital interests. This matter made the six gulf states to cooperate to confront international and regionl conflict. They established Gulf Cooperation Council to face the influences of first Gulf War (Iraq - Iran War). United States support Gulf Cooperation Council and deals with it as a world organization. Thus American administration began to interest in Bahrain and makes political and military relation with it. It considered Bahrain as a strategic ally although it is a small country with limited economic. It is from American point of view has a great military features made it of great value to watch Iran coasts through establishing radars devices on the boraders with Iran which seeks to develop its nuclear program to spread its domination on the region. The United States refuses Iran acquiring these weapons which cause other countries attempt to acquired it as well as it sends the Fifth American Squadron to intervene in case of a war breakout or face threat of external force especially Bahrain is politically unstable country. That makes it asking United States for aid and support to stable its internal situation and protect its foreign boarders. The reason behind the researcher choosing this subject is the lack of Arabic library to this subject studies and few studies that deals with this subject. That made the researcher face difficulties in gathering the references and resources related to the study American - Bahrain relation specially in the period of the study Second, it is difficult to travel to Bahrain state to bring documents. The researcher met UAE Ambassador Mr. Salah El - Maliky who refused to give the visa to Bahrain.

المستخلص: Most studies about the United States policy towards the Third World in general and Africa in particular, have not get an independent scientific study in Iraq towards the Horn of Africa or in particular and the Ethiopian - Somalian conflict about the Ogaden region, which is part of Somalia, and has been spilt up by the European countries which have divided Somalia into several parts among them and made this region under Ethiopian control, despite the efforts of Somalia to retrieve this territory from Ethiopia but remained under Ethiopian control. The importance of the main study comes to clarify the US policy toward the Somalian - Ethiopian conflict, and to show how the United States entered the Horn of Africa, and find an affective areas there, especially in Ethiopia, which was able to provide a lot of help and facilities to the American presence in the region. Ethiopia is set as a basic point for the US in the Horn of Africa in order to control the ways that transfer oil from the Arabian Gulf through Bab al - Mandab's Strait. as well as to observe the role that done by the United States, through the provision of military aid to Ethiopia, which has been able to maintain the Ogaden region at the time. As addition the study dealt with evaluating of the US policy, the conflict between the regional countries, the impact of success and failure over this policy with the impact of the intervention of the other regional and international powers. 1. In light of what presented above the submitted thesis has divided into four chapters, documents, supplements and conclusion, the first chapter consists a study of three sections, the first includes the definition of the strategic importance of the Horn of Africa and the beginning of the European competition, while the second section shows the roots of the t Somalian - Ethiopian conflict till 1960, and the third dealt with the beginnings of the US presence in the Horn of Africa until 1960.2. The second chapter comes to discuss the role of the United States in the political developments in Ethiopia and Somalia 1960 - 1964, and it includes three sections, the first section addresses the political situation in Somalia after independence until 1964, while the second section shows how the problem has been put in conferences and African organizations and the impact of African countries in reducing this conflict, whilst the third section dealt with the Somalian - Ethiopian war - in 1964 and the role of the United States in it.3. The third chapter comes under the title Ethiopian - Somalian relations and its impact on international competition in the region until 1973, consisted of three sections, the first section has devoted to clarify the normalization of Somalian - Ethiopian relations policy from 1965 to 1969, the second section touched Somalia under the military rule 1969 - 1973, while the third section shows the military government relations between Ethiopia and the great nations1969 - 1973.4. The fourth chapter hold the title the impact of Somalian - Ethiopian conflict upon the international competition in the region until 1978, this chapter has been divided into two sections, the first section has allocated to the Ethiopian politics in the era of Mengistu Haile Mariam from 1974 to 1977, the second section touched the Somalian - Ethiopian war 1977 - 1978 and the role of international forces in it. in the conclusion we find the summary of what the study has reached, of results and general conclusions in this regard.5. The Ethiopian - Somalian conflict regarded as the most intractable conflicts in the African continent and the longest - lived, it's rooted belong to the Middle Ages, it began after the arrival of Islam to this region and embraced by the Somalian. Since then, the conflict started and take multiple forms, and the wars that have existed between Ethiopia and Somalia were undecided. 6. As a result of the Somali division, Ethiopia has turned into a multi - ethnic and norms empire, and to control the Horn of Africa and take a part of drawing the political boundaries there. Where there no considerations to the principle of nationalities or the right to self - determination in drawing those boundaries, so Ethiopia borders have not been fully recognized by their mutual and among its neighbors, except its border with Kenya, and Djibouti. Somalia lost the western Somali region (Ogaden) as a result of British colonialism conceded through treaties and agreements about this region, so that this region has become a zone of conflict between the two countries for a long time continued to the present day.7. Africa in general and the Horn of Africa in special did not get the United States attention for many years, because it did not find any threats from the European powers which represented by Britain, France and Italy to its interests in the continent. So that, the US attention in the Horn of Africa has started after the II World War, after it came out of the war loaded with big capitals, the United States invested it in the African continent which took the form of economic and military aid to gain access to cheaper and abandoned industrials martials from the continent. The US interest in the Horn of Africa has grown as it occupying geostrategic location next to the oil resources in the Middle East, the necessary object that needed by the United States, as well as its location in the South desert of Africa, and the huge size of the military facilities on the Red Sea shores, and the need of such military facilities for the United States , as well as geographical proximity of the Horn from the Arabian Gulf, which is the gateway of oil to the United States, as addition this region is considered to be economically good stockpile of mineral resources, and other sources of energy, especially since the region occupies a central position in the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean, which made it a region of vital importance to the interests of the United States of America, particularly the strategic priority of the United States was lie in searching cheaper and enriched oil stocks in the world.8. It has been proved scientifically and historically that the revolution is moving by infected and push the winds of change from one place to another, especially if the environment is paved ,ready and mature, Ethiopia were those mature environment to welcome the change, so that the military coup in Ethiopia in 1974 occurred and overthrow the Imperial rule, and with the rise of the military Ethiopia to power in September 1974,and after five years after the rise of Somalia's military regime to power in the October 21, 1969, the political stage in Horn of Africa has become on the edge of a new challenge and change, Racing challenge and confronta - tion between the military of the two neighboring countries , has become the most important race not in the Horn of Africa alone, but in all of Africa, which has seen many other similar positions, and changes over successive military coups, changed the balance of power, changed alliances and ignited old and new conflicts and animosities altogether. 9. Loss the Ogaden war 1977 - 1978 backed to the recklessness of Siad Barre, who announced severance the relations with the Soviet Union, which led to depriving Somalia of military aid from them, although the Soviet Union tried to find a balance between Ethiopia and Somalia, and not to lose one of the parties in order to keep benefit from the basis taken by the Soviet Union in the region, so the Soviet Union became the master in the region. The hesitation of the United States of not providing assistance due to personal inexperienced and the naive of the US President Carter and decision - makers there who feared to repeat the Vietnam war in Ogaden, which left t negative effects, so the US preferred to be observer to the events that happen in the Ogaden, in particular the Horn of Africa in general. The conflict between Ethiopia and Somalia has regarded as one of the conflicts that have evolved into full - scale war, in traditional sense. After that hundreds of thousands of both sides went victims to armed operations, the case is still under investigation and subject to further research, tight and attract, though the war has ended, Skirmishes, clashes border and political maneuvering diplomacy, or (what might be called an indirect conflict) is still Ongoing and continuous.

المستخلص: The current study aims to know the average of unemployment in Iraq for the years ( 1987, 1997,2012), except the northern governorates (Dohok, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah ). This could be done and carried out through explaining the differences in averages of unemployment in the rural and urban of governorates and also in respect to genders distribution ( Males and Females. Studying temporal and spatial difference among them to know the reasons lying behind that. The researcher has used quantitative and descriptive method and then studying the indicators and variables having relation to the ratio of the unemployed by using simple and multi - correlation coefficient as to show the effect of the independent effect on the followed variable. The study includes three chapters , introduction and conclusion. The current study reaches to the following : 1. Average of unemployment has reached to " 13,5" in 1997 after it has been 3,5 in 1987 and reached to 12,9 in 2012.2. averages of unemployment in Iraq in respect to administrative units , got different in the years ( 1987, 1997, 2012). Maysan , Thi Qar , Baghdad , and Al - Muthana governorates have recorded high rates of unemployment; Maysan and Thi Qar have occupied first rank with rates ( 23,8) ,( 21,3) in the population counting in 1987, then followed by Basra and Baghdad. The reasons lying behind raising the unemployment in Thi Qar and Maysan are because of seasonal unemployment in the agricultural activity.3. Salah Al - Din and Karbala have recorded less unemployment since they are considered as agrarian landsowing to the nature of agricultural sector based on the implantation of permanent corps.4. Differences in rates of unemployment between the urban and rural in the years based on in the research , where Maysan has recorded high ratio of unemployment and salah Al - Din recorded lower rates of unemployment.5. The southern governorates have recorded high rates of unemployment , in addition to Baghdad.6. We notice that the ratio of unemployed males get higher than the females throughout the governorates, where their ratio gets extreme degree in the population counting in 1987.7. The high rates of unemployment were within the two categories ( 15 - 19), ( 20 - 24) , then followed by the category 64.8. It has been explained that the unemployment is connected with the independent variables , along with its relation with the variables ( poverty, individual expenditure) , while the other variables have been described by its verse connection with the followed - up variable ( unemployment)

المستخلص: This study (The General Attitude of the Cloud Cover and Its Impact on precipitation in Iraq ) aims to determine the general direction of low and medium clouds in Iraq during the period of the study between (1988 - 2013) , determine the general direction of the total cloud (N) and low and medium clouds cover (Nh) in order to determine what if the clouds in Iraq have increased in repetition number or decreased during the study period, and then determine the relationship between clouds and rain in Iraq by the statistical relationship.Clouds have a great importance in nature where they are considered as the main distributor of precipitation types on earth and the air in contact with them. They reflect a ratio of about 80% of solar radiation. They also keep the long wave ground thermal radiation from escaping to the external space. The main reason for the formation of these clouds are the depressions that affect them in terms of the number of their frequencies and consequently the frequencies and the types of clouds differ from one season to another and from one area to another. Thus, in this study, the light was shed on the general attitude of the cloud cover to define to what the registration of the frequencies of cloud cover with its amounts and types during the study duration (1988 - 2013), especially that the climatic changes occurring in the world highly influenced the registrations of various climate elements including registrations provide depressions and are highly responsible of forming clouds with their types. As we mentioned before, the clouds and their direction were studied by dividing the study duration into two climatic periods (1988 - 2001) and (2002 - 2013) to show the averages of both periods and the differencebetween them and to identify which clouds registered a more decrease ratio during both periods. The cloud cover is regarded as one of the main indicators to express the amounts of the rains falling over the earth surface, hence the types most affecting the precipitation (rains) were studied, i.e. the low and middle height clouds. Despite that, it was shown that not all types of low and middle height clouds were productive clouds for some types were largely responsible of forming precipitation compared to other types which had no role but very little. It also was shown that there were certain types responsible of rains at the study area, so to achieve this goal of the study, the researcher collected all the hourly data about the types of clouds with respect to the low and middle height clouds, as well as the hourly data related to the cloud cover. They were examined in the form of rainy seasons starting from (September, October, November, December) and ending in (January, February, March, April, May). The study also included the deduction of the relation among the types of clouds, the cloud cover and the collections of rains through the statistical relationship (the correlation coefficient) to show the extend of relationship among them. The analysis during the study showed that there was a decrease in the frequency average of the low and middle height types of clouds with different ratios from one type to another. Also, there was a decrease in the coverage of clouds, especially the types most affecting the amount of rains. Moreover, there was a strong positive relationship with some types of clouds, the cloud coverage and rains, while this relationship was weak and negative with other types of clouds and the cloud coverage. For the study to include the general attitude of the types of clouds, the coverage of clouds and its relation with rains, it was studied in five chapters :

It has been use BANMAN - MONTETH depended by ( W.F.A.O) which depended on active rain and Evaporation, a clear change has occurred and all the station suffer from permanent deficit and time and special variation in the study area , and in spite of the permanent deficit , but, there was time and space variation , in Nasriya station trends towards decreased in Evaporation , while Basrah station towards increasing , coincidence with temperature increase and wind speed , as for Omara, which differed from the two station and there existed time variance at months levels and all the stations suffer from permanent deficit in climate water balance. The study shows the presence of development in Marshes refreshment process and the water in come from Tigris and The Euphrates has its effect on the inundated area and 1973 was depended as basic year for the required area which 8350 Km2, dried to reach less than 1000 Km 2, between(1990 - 2002) and re - back inundation an area of 3536 Km2 at the end 2013, of inundation (64%) of the qualified inundation area amounted 5560Km2 , and excluded an area 2790Km2, for the difficulty of restoring it to utilize it for agriculture and oil wells or disagreement of the its population to inundate them, we could say that , the climate change indicators in climate elements, reflected negatively on processes of refreshment marshes, where the effect appeared clearly on the study area.

For the expansion of their market and as they are consumed by the whole class of society of various age portions, they got the great attention for the increase of the production and quality improvement. They got the attention of the governments, companies and scientific centers of research, and penetrate the world trade markets in spite of the features the limit their validity like the size and the economic feasibility for long distance transportation. The study reveals the problem which is posed as following : has the industry of carbonized drink in Baghdad achieved success since its establishment until the present time in the industrial and economic fields? What are the geographic factors (natural or human) affecting the points of the settlement of the spatial destruction? The hypothesis of the study which is based on the carbonized drink industry is one of the industries that achieve clear success in quantity of production. In addition to the effect of the natural factors represented in the availability of water resources, which is the basic raw material of the production of carbonized drink, as well as the availability of human sources which is responsible for achieving the internal and external surplus. The study is concerned with the carbonized drink industry in the Baghdad for the year 2013 which is he base year on which the data collecting and field study depended. Therefore, it was clear that the number of carbonized drink plant is 8 in the area of study employing 1536 workers. The study came to a number of findings the most important of which is that it began in the year 1950. Also, the study concludes that the governorate possesses the natural elements (lad, climate, water sources) and human and economic elements (capital, raw materials, working hands, fuel and energy, transportation and market). These spatial factors varied in their efficiency in effecting the settlement and distribution of carbonized drink temporally and spatially. The factor of demand has the clearest influence in the production of carbonized drink and the fluctuating nature of producing in summer and winter season as it increase in the former season and decrease in the latter. There are plants whose production lines are worn - out and poorly maintained. The production cost is considered as high in Iraq in general and the governorate in particular causing poor competitiveness with the imported production and the limitation of the profit margin that prevents the owners of the carbonized drink plants from developing and updating the production lines and keeping up with the advanced technology. It has become clear through the quantitative analysis that the area of study possesses big amounts of capitals that are capable of funding the carbonized drink industry in addition to the availability of raw materials in a big extent. That encouraged these industries in the area of study that it affected the emergence of numerous problems like the raw materials, fuel, working hands and market. In addition to the environmental and health effects which led to the contamination of the regions near the carbonized drink plants in air, water and soil.

المستخلص: This thesis aims to study the reality of the industrial plants for grinding grain in the governorate of Baghdad in 3102, as well as aiming to focus on the spatial analysis of those facilities through analytical tools according to geography of industry methodology and building integrated data to support researchers in this field. The grain milling industry is not free of problems as it is like any other many industries, researchers did the best in order to analyze, identify , and accurately diagnose according to the analytical descriptive approach, and the analysis is concentrated into two mainLevel I : the study of patterns of spatial distribution of facilities, grain milling industry and the use of GIS technology and take advantage of the method of statistical analysis of several indicators, including the use of (HOT SPOT ANALYSIS) in ((Arc GIS program 01.33)) and average or center of gravity of the spatial Mean Center)), the central element or average (Central Feature) mediator and the center (Median Center) and tool standard distance (Standard Distance), and study the direction of the distribution of the phenomenon (ellipse standard (DIRECTION SITRIBUTION STANDARD DEVIATIONAL ELLIPSE) and link neighboring coefficient (Nearest Neighbor Analysis), then the application of these statistical operations and displaying the results in the form of digital maps, Interpreted the nature of the spatial model for facilities mills grain where emerged during the analysis (Hot Spot Analysis) that the hot spots indicate to spatial in (Alkarkh - District in Baghdad), while the indicators Statistical the above - mentioned were in (Rusafa District - in Baghdad), and this consolation and reasons why the research is owned by (the judiciary) of the attracting factors represented by the broad market, the availability of labor, capital, infrastructure services average and the location of the judiciary, as well as Historically, the region and gave fame for this industryLevel II : The study of the reality of the industry and an analysis of the problems in accordance to strategic analysis (SWOT) and demand forecasting the quantities of flour up to 3132, and is the mills are able to meet the needs and the demand of flour despite growing population numbers in the Governorate of Baghdad? We concluded there is not any deficit in the amount of flour despite the fact that all Baghdad mills do not work at full production capacity manner because the General Company for manufacturing of grain and provide them with specific amounts depending on the need of flour produced only so as to meet the needs of the State of the Ration Card. For the analysis of (SWOT)) , Studying the internal environment of the industry and the strengths as well as weaknesses has been done and performed , and the external environment study and of analysis of reservoirs opportunities and threats and risks facing the grinding in Baghdad and follow the dual analysis (Performance Gap Analysis) industry which measures the distance between reality and ambition under the Matrix of Strategic Analysis according to a study analyzing the success factors of the industry and linked to the most significant operations. It was the most important success factors and by priority lies in the ((Efficiency and user satisfaction and coverage of population need of flour, and export the surplus labor and development.)).Thus Performance Analysis Gap was measured between the real situation and the best case of analysis, which amounted to (3,2) it was found that a large gap is formed in accordance with the measurement of five degrees. The most important, results that we did reach to from the Performance Analysis Gap is concentrated in encouraging farmers to use and means and ways that will increase the efficiency , the quality and quantity of raw material used in industry in order to rely on the local product and also reduce import as much as possible

المستخلص: Remote sensing techniques and Geographic information system (GIS) proved the installation of the bands (3,4,7) is the best in the discrimination of Sebkha and their moisture content, which gives the Sebkha dark gray inclined to brown, and gray indicating least moisture; salts take blue color and installation of (3,4,5) is associated with distinguishing the crescent lakes, with installation of (2,3,4) is associated with river islands. The merging between these channels has an advantage in differentiating these phenomena and their geo - morphological relationship with Sebkha.A relationship between the Sebkha areas and the rainy seasons prior to the summer is established which works on assembling salts from the high surrounding areas and its concentration in low basin areas within these plain Lands. This explains the increased marsh spaces in 2013 in each of the Baghdad, Babil, and Wasit governorates with increasing amount of rain during the rainy season 2012 - 2013. The increase of Sabcka areas in Diwanya, Theeqar and Basrah governorates with the increase in rain quantity during the rainy season (2012 - 2013). In addition, corresponding spatial visualization space is performed to indicate the effect on the tectonic shift mechanism on rivers change together with identifying geomorphological processes affecting the increase of Sebkha and crescent lakes and river islands. The results of change detection and calculation of changing spaces in these phenomena declared that the alluvial plain is characterized by the positive change in 2013 by the increase in vegetation cover, water area and positive decrease for each of the Sebkha saline crust area and soil Sebkha, also all the provinces within the alluvial plain have been distinguished to undergo positive change in significant increase of vegetation and water plains in 2013 except the province of Karbala where water area decreased, and as for the Sebkha of salt crust, it underwent a marked negative increase for each of the province of Baghdad in which the changing area, Maysan, and Wasit an area. The large increase in the salt crust Sebkha included Wasit province, followed by Maysan, and then Baghdad. As to the other provinces, the results indicated positive change revealing less spaces of salt crust Sebkha in the summer of 2013. In regard to the Sabcka soil, the change was negative as noticed by the increase in the province of Baghdad, Basra, Karbala, Maysan, and Wasit. As to the other provinces, the Sabcka soil has decreased in varying sizes compared with 2002.The field study proved the accuracy of the results, that have been obtained via geographical techniques, in determining the spatial distribution of the Sebkha sites, which gathered by deled observations with interpretation and statistical digital classification), their locations were identified through a Global Positioning system GPS, in addition to description of geo - morphological phenomena and their interpretation, besides determining the field variables toincrease reliability. Samples of soil, surface and ground water carefully selected were obtained in a fashion to be distributed over a wide geographical area. The field study has shown forms of Sabcka, which has taken local distribution dispersed in the alluvial plain in the low basin areas of the plain, whose level is close from ground water and on both sides of the river, around the temporary and permanent plains, and dried areas. It started to extend near populated areas and planted depressions. The Sabkha dimensions varied from governorate to another, which varied almost from 1 - 15km, and in most cases extends in an intermittent and continuous form in between populated and all agricultural areas along the roads between governorates. The exact geo - morphological forms associated of Sebkha formats have been all determined, such as : Alnbaka, lakes, salt flats, and others of small forms : bridges with brine, mud cracks, salt ponds etc…together with determining vegetation cover associated with Sebkha of Holophyte with their classification and importance, in detail and accurately documented with terrestrial field Photographs. These are to be compared with the levels and standards of the varieties that have been carefully selected to be acquainted with their characteristics and to determine their locations using the Global Positioning System(GPS). Furthermore, geomorphological map related to sabkha is to be prepared.Following the recognition of the properties of the sedimentary and geochemical properties of recent sediments in the sedimentary basin through, analysis of the positive and negative of basic elements and heavy elements of surface and ground water was performed, besides the soil with regard to its distribution and its classification according to maps. These maps indicated that the pollution of the area under study by negative and positive ions of Sodium, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulfates, and Chlorine, rare and heavy ions represented by Nickel, Cobalt, Cadmium, Copper, Lead and Zinc. The chemical analyses indicated that the soil increase in their concentration by amount exceeds Iraqi and international limits. Best method to simulate soil elements concentration was found in the Arc GIS V.10, which is the IDW (Inverse Distance Weighted Spatial analyst interpolate). Laboratory analyses have shown that the water quality is poor due to increased salinity, dispersed small quantities of polluting elements, besides determination of most important environmental traces that cause increase in Sabkha by loss of agricultural land, in addition to loss of pasture areas and animals. Further degradation is in water quality and increased desertification phenomenon and its impact on urban sprawl and deterioration of construction quality, loss of biological varieties and crop structure due to high salinity
