Abstract: 1- التعرف على القمع الفكري لدى طلبة الجامعة ذي قار. 2- دلالة الفروق في القمع الفكري تبعا لمتغير الجنس ( ذكور ، اناث ) ومتغير التخصص( علمي – انساني) لدى طلبة جامعة ذ قار . 3- التعرف على الجهل الجمعي لدى طلبة جامعة ذي قار . 4- دلالة الفروق في الجهل الجمعي تبعا لمتغير الجنس ( ذكور – اناث ) ومتغير التخصص( علمي – انساني) لدى طلبة جامعة ذ قار. 5- العلاقة الارتباطية بين القمع الفكري والجهل الجمعي لدى طلبة جامعة ذ قار. واستعرض الباحث اطارا نظريا والنظريات التي فسرت المتغيرين, حيث اعتمد الباحث على نظرية 1994,wegner)), في تفسير القمع الفكري الذي عر فه ( بالازاحة الشعورية للافكار) وكذلك انموذج Darley) & ,Latane 1968) في تفسير الجهل الجمعي الذي عرفتاه (بفقدان القرارات العقلانية والانفعالية بوجود الاخرين ), وكذلك استعرض عدد من الدراسات السابقة التي تناولت المتغيرين مع متغيرات اخرى. وقد اجري البحث على عينة عددها (400) طالبا وطالبة وبواقع (171) ذكورا, و(229) اناثا من طلبة جامعة ذي قار موزعة بين التخصص العلمي والتخصص الانساني . وتحقيقا لاغراض البحث الحالي قام الباحث باعداد مقياس الجهل الجمعي حسب انموذج Darley) ,Latane& 1968) , والذي يتكون من (40) فقرة, ولكل فقرة بديلين ( ا – ب ), وتبني الباحث مقياس القمع الفكري ل ( محمود , 2016) ويتكون من (36) فقرة , وله اربعة بدائل, ولكون كلا المقياسين قد حافظا على هيكليتهما فان ذلك يبرر للباحث امكانية استخدام عينة التحليل الاحصائي بوصفها عينة التطبيق نهائي, اذ تم اختيارهم بالاسلوب العشوائي الطبقي ذات التوزيع المتناسب من طلبة جامعة ذي قار , وبعد عرض المقياسين معا على مجموعة من السادة المحكمين بلغت نسبة الموافقة اكثر من ( 80% ), ثم حللت الفقرات المقياسين لحساب قدرتهما التمييزية ومعاملات صدقهما وتحقق الباحث من الصدق الظاهري ومؤشرات صدق البناء لمقياسي البحث حيث ظهرت جميع الفقرات مميزة, وحساب ثبات المقياسيين بطريقتين, طريقة اعادة الاختبار اذ بلغت درجة الثبات (0.93) وطريقة الفا كرونباخ اذ بلغت (0,70) لمقياس القمع الفكري, اما مقياس الجهل الجمعي تم احتساب الثبات بطريقة (كودر - ريتشاردسون (20) وبلغت قيمة الثبات (0,72)وطريقة اعادة الاختبار حيث بلغت (0.85), ولغرض التوصل الى النتائج استعمل الباحث الوسائل الاحصائية الاتية : ( الاختبار التائي لعينة واحدة ,الاختبار التائي لعينتين مستقلتين , معامل ارتباط بيرسون , , تحليل التباين الثنائي, الفا كرونباخ, معادلة كيورد- ريتشاورد(20)) في الحزمة الاحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية
