Abstract: The aim of this thesis study the degree of the approximations of unbounded functions in weighted spaces. Also the degree of best approximation of unbounded functions in weighted space was computed to sustain an accurate approximation by k - monotone functions.We found the degree of best approximation of unbounded function was established by Whitney’s Theorem in weighted spaces using models of continuity.We found the degree of best approximation of unbounded functions by using bivariate Bernstein polynomial in weighted space. Finally , the degree of best approximation of unbounded functions considered using spline polynomials in weighted spaces , the weighted moduli of continuity and weighted - Modulus of smoothness

Abstract: درسنا في هذه الاطروحة درجة التقريب الموجب والحافظ للاشارة للدوال في الفضاءات عندما بعد ذلك وضعنا هذه الدراسة في علاقة مع درجة التقريب غير المقيد. في البداية قدمنا المعيار الكاذب ثم استخدمناه لتعريف الفضاءات عندما وباستخدام المعيار الكاذب اعلاه قمنا بتعريف مقياس النعومة والدالي , K - كذلك قمنا بتعريف نوع جديد من تجزئة شبيشيف للفترة عندما عدد طبيعي . كذلك قدمنا نوع مطور لنظرية وتني للتقريب الحافظ للاشارة للدالة في الفضاءات عندما بدلاله مقياس متوسط النعومة وكذلك مقياس النعومة علما ان هذا التقريب كان باستخدام متعددات الحدود الجبرية. من المعروف ان درجة التقريب الحافظ للاشارة تكون دائما اكبر من درجة التقريب غير المقيد لذا قمنا في عملنا بتقوية هذه الحقيقة للدوال في الفضاءات عندما اي اننا برهنا نحن نعلم ان قيد الاشارة سيقيد من درجة التقريب الافضل للدوال في الفضاءات عندما ويجعلها بدلاله وليس في عملنا هذا برهنا انه عندما نجعل متعددة الحدود لا تتبع اشارة الدالة على فترات ذات اطوال تقترب الى الصفر لذا بامكاننا الحصول على مبرهنة مباشرة بدلاله وهذا ما سميناه التقريب الحافظ للاشارة دائما تقريبا وهذا سيجعلنا نحصل على درجة تقريب بدلاله . وفي نهاية عملنا قدمنا علاقة تربط درجة التقريب الحافظ للاشارة للدالة في الفضاءات عندما ودرجة التقريب الحافظ لاشارة المشتقة للدالة في الفضاءات عندما . | In this thesis we study the degree of positive and copositive approximation for functions in spaces for , and then relate it to the degree of unconstrained approximation. First we introduce the quasi norm , and then we use it to define the spaces for . Using the above quasi norm we define the , modulus of smoothness and the functional . We create a new version of Chebyshev partion for the interval , . We introduce an improved version of Whitney theorem for copositive approximation of functions in spaces for , in terms of modulus of smoothness and modulus of smoothness, using algebraic polynomials. It is well known that the degree of the copositive approximation is greater then the degree of the unconstrained approximation. In our thesis we strength this result for the functions in spaces for , it mean we prove . We know that the copositivity property restrict very much the degree of copositive approximation of the functions in spaces for in terms of only and not . In our thesis we show that if we make the polynomial not copositive with the function of intervals of length approach to zero we can get direct theorems in terms of and strength this result by a negative theorem that we can not prove a direct theorem for almost copositive approximation in terms of . At last we introduce a relationship between the degree of copositive approximation of functions and its copositive degree interims of its derivatives.

Abstract: ان توزيع باريتو هو واحدا من اهم التوزيعات التي يتم استخدامها على نطاق واسع في وصف الظواهر الاجتماعية، والعلمية، والطبيعية، فضلا عن العديد من انواع الظواهر الاخرى، التي تلعب دورا هاما في نمذجة المعولية ونماذج الطابور في بحوث العمليات. يتمثل الهدف الرئيس من هذه الدراسة في ايجاد ومقارنة اداء المقدرات التقليدية المتمثلة بـ "مقدر الامكان الاعظم (MLE) والمقدر غير المتحيزذي اقل تباين منتظم (UMVUE) ومقدراقل متوسط لمربعات الخطا (MinMSE)" ومقدرات بيز القياسية لمعلمة الشكل، θ ، ودالة المعولية R(t) بافتراض ان معلمة القياس، α، معلومة. وللحصول على افضل فهم للتحليل البيزي افترضنا توزيع لا معلوماتي "جفري" وتوزيع معلوماتي اولي "الاسي" (Exponential) تحت دوال خسارة. تم في الجانب النظري اشتقاق جميع المقدرات اما الجانب الاساسي من هذه الرسالة فكان الجانب التجريبي الذي تضمن توظيف اسلوب المحاكاة بطريقة مونت كارلو (Monte Carlo) لمقارنة اداء مقدرات معلمة الشكل من خلال توظيف متوسط مربعات الخطا (MSE) ومقارنة اداء مقدرات دالة المعولية من خلال توظيف متوسط مربعات الخطا (MSE) ومتوسط مربع الخطا التكاملي (IMSE). من بين الاستنتاجات التي تم التوصل اليها، المقدرات الكلاسيكيه لمعلمة الشكل كان الافضل اداء MinMSE ، بينما MLE كان الاسوا من بين المقدرات الثلاثة لجميع حجوم العينات ولجميع قيم ، θ ، اما مقدرات بيز القياسية فقد كانت على العموم باعتماد التوزيع المعلوماتي الاولي (exponential) هو الاسلوب الافضل لتقدير معلمة الشكل ودالة المعولية مقارنة باسلوب بيز القياسي باعتماد توزيع لا معلوماتي " جفري " ولمختلف دوال الخسارة ولجميع حجوم العينات ولمختلف قيم θ. | The Pareto distribution is a power law probability distribution that is used in description of social, scientific, geophysical, actuarial, and many other types of observable phenomena, which plays an important role in reliability modeling and a queuing model in operation research. The main objective of this thesis is to obtain and compare the performance of some classical estimators "Maximum likelihood estimator (MLE), Uniformly minimum variance unbiased estimator (UMVUE), and Minimum mean squared error estimator (MinMSE)" and the standard Bayesian estimators of the shape parameter, θ, and reliability function R(t) of the Pareto type I distribution with assuming that, the scale parameter, α, is known. In order to get better understanding in our Bayesian analysis we consider non - informative prior using Jeffrey’s prior Information as well as informative prior represented by exponential conjugate prior under different loss functions. Classical estimators for the shape parameter, have been compared theoretically, based on their mean squared errors (MSE's). We obtain that, MinMSE is the best estimator, while MLE is the worse among these three classical estimators. In the theoretical part we derive all the estimators. All estimators for θ, are compared empirically using Monte Carlo simulation by applying the mean squares error while, the estimates of R(t) were compared by using two statistical measures represented by the mean squares error (MSE) and integral mean squares error (IMSE). Among the conclusions that have been reached, in general, the performance of Bayes estimator for θ and R(t), under different loss functions with exponential prior is better comparing to the corresponding Jeffrey's prior for all cases.

Abstract: الاهداف الرئيسية لهذه الاطروحة هي في اربعة اتجاهات.الهدف الاول هو استحدث طرائق تقريبية لحل بعض المسائل التغايرية وذلك عن طريق اشتقاق (تشبيشف المويجية المزاحة من النوع الرابع)(Shifted fourth kind Chebyshev wavelete).الهدف الثاني اشتقاق صيغ جديدة لمصفوفة عمليات لمشتقات وتكاملات لمتعدات حدود تشبيشف من النوع الرابع (fourth kind polynomials) والتي استخدمت لايجاد صيغ جديدة لمصفوفة العمليات هذه.الهدف الثالث هي لصياغة وبرهان مبرهنة التقارب المنتظم لمويجيات تشبيشف من النوع الرابع وايضا صياغة وبرهان مبرهنة تخمين دقة التقريب لمتعددات حدود تشبيشف من النوع الرابع.ان مصفوفة العمليات لمشتقات وتكاملات مويجات متعددات حدود تشبيشف المزاحة من النوع الرابع بالاعتماد على طريقة(الرص) ((collocation method, استخدمت لتحويل مسالة التغاير الى منظومة معادلات جبرية.اخيرا , الامثلة العددية برهنت دقة وكفاءة الخوارزميات المقترحة | The main objectives of this thesis may be oriented toward four directions. The first objective is to introduce an approximate methods for solving some variational problems by deriving the shifted fourth kind Chebyshev wavelets. The second objective is to derive new form for the operational matrices of differentiation and integration of the shifted fourth kind Chebysheve wavelet , which are used to formulate new form of the operation matrices. The third objective is to state and prove the uniform convergence theorem for the fourth kind Chebyshev wavelets and also state and prove the accuracy estimation for the fourth kind Chebyshev polynomials theorem. The operation matrices for differentiation and integration of the shifted fourth kind Chebyshev wavelets together with the collocation method are utilized to transform the variational problem into a system of algebraic equations. Finally, some numerical examples are included in order to verify the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed algorithms.
