Abstract:
The aim of this thesis study the degree of the approximations of unbounded functions in weighted spaces. Also the degree of best approximation of unbounded functions in weighted space was computed to sustain an accurate approximation by k - monotone functions.We found the degree of best approximation of unbounded function was established by Whitney’s Theorem in weighted spaces using models of continuity.We found the degree of best approximation of unbounded functions by using bivariate Bernstein polynomial in weighted space. Finally , the degree of best approximation of unbounded functions considered using spline polynomials in weighted spaces , the weighted moduli of continuity and weighted - Modulus of smoothness
