The Balance in self - awareness according to the following changes : a - type (male or female).b - specialty (science or human science ).3 - defines uncompleted personality in students of Baghdad university The Balance in incomplete personality according to the following changes : - type (male or female).b - specialty (science or human science ).c - recognize the contributory percentage of incomplete personality (independent variable) in self - awareness (dependent variable ).to achieve this goals the researcher has applied measurements in both self - awareness and incomplete personality measurement in sample reached (500) university students , had chosen randomly from six colleges in Baghdad university after ensuring of measurement and their stability.after data treatment statically using T - test for one sample and two future samples , Correlation coefficient , Cronbach alpha equation , ‎Kurtosis , ‎Graphic analysis Two - way analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis.in light of what had reached from results it could conclude the following : that students of Baghdad university have self - awareness.There is no different between male and female in self - awareness , also no differences between science and human sciences in self - recognition.University of Baghdad students have incomplete personality.No differences between males and females in incomplete personality.Furthermore no differences between science and human sciences of incomplete personality.The incomplete personality as independent variable contributing to dependent variable of self - awareness and have inverse relationship means as incomplete personality increased there was decrease in self - awareness and vice versa.Recommendations. In the view of findings that research reached ,we recomlkmend the researcher by fellow : ? Working on apply a guidance scientific programs to work on scientific researches to decrease processing of unacceptable self - awareness and contacting incomplete personality. ? Current research shows that incomplete personality in contributing of self - awareness so we recommend the researcher to build personal researcher units and in guider centers that exist in private universities.? Make committee and workshops between instructors and university students about self - awareness and incomplete personality subjects. However, the sample stability was (50) teachers, a researcher apply the measure on a sample of (100) teachers in which (20) teacher had chosen for whom got less marks in the scale of self - control and distributed randomly in to two groups equally each one of them got (10) teachers.The researcher adopted the scale of self - controlling by (AL - Huchaimi, 2010), and the scale was showing at the group of experts in the measurement, evaluation and psychological counseling. And the measurement his honesty and high stability. The researcher used the style of counseling for reality to the scientist (William Clasr) with the experimental group, so the number of counseling sessions became (12) ones, and the time of each session got (45 minutes) in three times per week, while the controlling group was not exposed to any indicative style.The researcher had checked the veracity of the counseling program by submitting it to a group of specialists in the fields of psychological counseling and guidance programs.He used appropriate statistical methods in the current research, including : AL - Taia test for two independent samples - Pearson correlation plant - Alpha Chrome Bach - Mann - Whitney medium - sized samples - Chi square.The results of current research has proved that there are significant differences among the ranks of the experimental group and controling group in far - test, and in favor of the counseling program the researcher has got a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.

Only appear in the adolescence stage of life as this stage is considered to be the stage of interest in reading and the stage that determines the individual's reading orientations, rather , it forms in most cases his personality. Individuals very in the independence traits they have. The dependent behavior is remarkable in our society in young people. We can see it in family, at work or in learning. This dependence deprives the adolescent of the freedom of acquaintance even at a simple level. The problem becomes worse when individuals continue depending on those who are elder them. For the mentioned reasons, this study conducted a comparison in reading propensities between psychologically parents - independent individuals and psychologically parents - dependent individuals in students of preparatory school. The significance of this study can be summarized in the following points : 1 - In the scientific aspects The dealing with the two variable of the study (reading interests and psychological independence from parents) has it's scientific and theoretical importance for it explain the nature of comparing reading Interests between psychologically independents and Psychologically dependents from parents. And because this study is the first of it's type. As for as the researcher know and the scientific explanation of this study would reduce the dependence on researches conducted on other societies which differ from Iraqi society in their social phenomena comparison. 2 - In practical aspect : The results of this research will practical and applied type. It's findings will induce the educational institutions to do more in order to discover the causes of being in reading Interests and refraining from. 3 - The significance at the level of strategy and planning : the strategic importance of this research and it's significance at the level of planning are represented by what findings it reaches and by what it recommends and suggests. The findings of this research would help in lay out strategies of educational institutions. The research aimed at the following objects : 1 - Reading interests in students of preparatory school. 2 - Psychological independence from parents in students of preparatory school. 3 - The difference in Psychological independence from parents in students of preparatory school according to the variable of gender (male - females). 4 - The difference in reading interests between psychological dependent and independent students from parents of students preparatory school. 5 - The difference in reading interests between psychological dependent and independent students from parents of male students of preparatory school. 6 - The difference in reading interests between psychological dependent and independent students from parents of students female preparatory school. The researcher sample included (400) students (200) male (200) female they were chosen randomly from eight schools of Baghdad directorate of education / Rasafa 3 for the year (2013 - 2014). In order to achieve the aims of the present research, the researcher adopted reading interests scale (Addai and atia , 2008) and after analyzing the items by the relation of the item degree to the total degree of the measure. The final from of the measure involved (25) items.two kinds of validities were used : the apparent validity and validity of construction. The coefficient of reliability of reading interests was (0.73). This was conducted by Cronbach's Alpha. As for the re - test, the coefficient of reliability was (0.78). As for the second variable of the present research (the psychological independence from parents), the researcher construct a measure for the psychological independence from parents making used Hoffman's measure (1984). After conducting a statistical analysis on the measure items, the items which are not distinctive were dropped out. So the final form of the measure was consisted of (36) items. The researcher elicited the coefficient of reliability by Cronbach's Alpha (0.86) and re - test method (0.89). Two groups were taken (psychological dependent and independent from parents) for comparison in reading interest by using extreme comparison. The sample was divided into two groups, and then the two groups were compared with each other. The findings of the study : 1 - Students of preparatory school have reading interest. 2 - Students of preparatory school either were weakening, or, lack psychological independence from their parents. 3 - There is a statistically significant difference in independence from parents according to gender (male - female) favor of males.4 - There is a statistically significant in reading interests between psychological dependent and independent from parents of students preparatory school favor of the psychological independents from parents. 5 - There is a statistically significant in reading interests between psychological dependent and independents from parents of male students preparatory school favor of the psychological independents from parents. 6 - There is a statistically significant in reading interests between psychological dependent and independents from parents of female students preparatory school favor of the psychological independents from parents. At the end of the study, the researcher put for word recommendations and suggestion on the basis of the findings of his research.

Abstract: يستهدف هذا البحث تعرف الشخصية اليقظة والاستقرار النفسي لدى المرشدين التربويين ,ومعرفة العلاقة بينهما على وفق متغيري النوع الاجتماعي ومدة الخدمة. وتحقيقا لذلك قامت الباحثة ببناء مقياس للشخصية اليقظة اعتمادا على نظرية (Cattell,1990) فحددت بثلاثة مجالات ه | The present research aims at measuring vigilant personality and psychological stability of educational counselors and knowing the relation between them according to the variables of the social gender and years of service. In order to achieve that, the researcher has built a scale for vigilant personality depending on Cattell theory which is determined by three fields, namely : awareness and attention, consciousness and cautious. (31) items have been formulated by using reported statements where there are five ranked alternatives for answering in front of each item (always, often, sometimes, rarely, never). When correcting, they are given (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) respectively for items formulated towards measuring time organizing, however, this correcting is reversed for items formulated in reverse to time organization. The researcher has ascertained from the discriminatory power of the items and their validity coefficients by applying the scale on (300) male and female counselors chosen by using simple random style. The researcher has ascertained the validity of her scale by using two indicators, namely, face validity through exposing the scale items in a form of questionnaire on (12) experts in psychological counseling and psychometrics. As a result, three items have been excluded and the final form of the scale consists of (28) for measuring vigilant personality. And also by using constructing validity through the relation of the item grade to the total grade and the relation of the grade item with the behavioral component. The researcher has also ascertained from the reliability of the scale by using two methods : re - test where the reliability coefficient is (0.70) and by using Alpha - Cronbach formula, it is (0.76) when applying the scale items on (50) male and female counselors. As for the concept of psychological stability, the researcher has prepared a scale depending on Eysenck theory which is determined by six fields : (emotional stability, psychological agreement, social agreement, psychological security, optimistic and rationale). The items have been formulated by using reported statements where there are five ranked alternatives for answering in front of each item (always, often, sometimes, rarely, never). When correcting, they are given (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) respectively for items formulated towards measuring job satisfaction, however, this correcting is reversed for items formulated in reverse to job satisfaction. The researcher has ascertained from the discriminatory power of the items and their validity coefficients by applying the scale on (300) male and female counselors chosen randomly categorically. The researcher has ascertained form the validity of her scale by using two indicators, namely, face validity through exposing the scale items in a form of questionnaire on (12) experts in psychological counseling and psychometrics. As a result, the scale consists of (46) for measuring psychological stability after excluding (7) items depending on the experts opinions. And by using constructing validity through the relation of the item grade to the total grade and the relation of the grade item with the behavioral component. The researcher has also ascertained from the reliability of the scale by using two methods : re - test where the reliability coefficient is (0.77) and by using Alpha - Cronbach formula, it is (0.81) when applying the scale items on (50) male and female counselors. After ascertaining the psychiatric properties of the research scales and their items and determining the variable of the job year service by five years according to the points of view of the experts. The two scales are applied on the basic sample of the research (300) counselors chosen randomly categorically. The data have been treated statically by using the statistical package (SPSS), the results show the following : 1 - The male and female counselors are characterized by having vigilant personality.2 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the social gender in vigilant personality.3 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the years of service in vigilant personality.4 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the social gender and the years of service in vigilant personality.5 - The male and female counselors are characterized by having psychological stability. 6 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the social gender in psychological stability.7 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the years of service in psychological stability.8 - There are no statistically significant differences according to the social gender and the years of service in psychological stability.9 - There is a correlational positive relationship between vigilant personality and psychological stability. The above results imply that there is a correlational positive relationship between vigilant personality and psychological stability. In the light of the results, the researcher has put forward a number of recommendations and suggestions

Based on the foregoing objectives of the present research identified the following : 1. You know when you think Aldokmati university students. 2. You know statistically significant differences in thinking Aldokmati when university students according to gender and specialty.3. You know the level of convergence when university students.4. In light of these objectives researcher identified a set of hypotheses seeks to statistically tested. To achieve the objectives of this study were prepared researcher gauges thinking Aldokmati introverted and self - esteem, as they meet the psychometric properties of reliability and validity, the research sample was selected from colleges, scientific and humanitarian affiliated to the University of Baghdad, and the way stratified random regular, reaching a sample based metrics (400) student and student, and applied them in successive measurements, the sample application has reached the final (300) students by (150) males and specialization (scientific - inhumane), and (150) females and specialization (scientific - inhumane). To investigate the objectives of the study addressed the researcher data statistically and found the following : For the first goal : they used the test t - sample one to know thinking Aldokmati when university students, reaching the value of T calculated (29.134), and this means that the degree of students above grade average theoretical , which confirms that they have to think Aldokmati. The second goal has been achieved through the use of analysis of variance showed the result of bilateral and there were no statistically significant differences in key variables (sex - specialization). The third objective : Use the t - test for one sample to know when introverted university students who have Dokmati thinking, since the calculated value of T (25,939), and this means that the degree of students score higher than the theoretical average, which confirms that they have introverted behavior. The fourth goal : Use the test t - sample one to know self - esteem when university students who own thinking Dokmati, reaching the value of T calculated (16,166), and this means that the degree of students' higher degree average theoretical, which confirms that they have appreciated the same. The fifth goal : achieved through : 1 - Pearson correlation coefficient to find a relationship between the scores of students in thinking Aldokmati and grades in convergence, the results showed that the value of the correlation coefficient is (0184), which is greater than the value of the correlation coefficient table - driven, and this confirms the existence of a correlation positive function, ie, the greater the thinking Aldokmati increased convergence when university students. 2 - Pearson correlation coefficient to find a relationship between the scores of students in thinking Aldokmati and grades in self - esteem, the results showed that the value of the correlation coefficient is (0153), which is greater than the value of the correlation coefficient table - driven, and this confirms the existence of a correlation positive function, ie, the greater the thinking Aldokmati increased self - esteem when university students. As well as , the effective dialogue is a means to raise the development of ideas and the experiences to be prepared for submitting.This Thesis aims to the following below : - 1. To identify the effective dialogue among the students of the University of Baghdad. 2. To identify some personal impressions like (harmony , the emotional stability, the control , the openness to the process of change , the mental satisfactory , then the consciousness). For the students of the University of Baghdad. 3. To identify the relationship between the effective dialogue and some of the personal impressions among the students of the University of Baghdad. 4. To Identify the rate of contribution for each personality traits " harmony , emotional stability, control , openness to change , mental competence and the conscience" " independent variables" in the effective dialogue (the dependent variable) among the students of the University of Baghdad.For the purpose of achieving the objectives of the Thesis , the researcher establishes two measurements to measure (the effective dialogue) and to measure , as well , the scale for (some personal impressions) , and after proving and making sure of the sincerity , the firmness and the powering discriminatory paragraphs which is applied and executed on the sample of (500) students , as university students were chosen a random way , with an equal distribution and by (8) colleges divided by four faculties scientific and four Humanitarian faculties from University of Baghdad. After the processing of the data statistically by depending and using samples T - Test for one sample , and the samples T - Test for two independent samples, as well as by relying on Pearson correlation coefficient, and the coefficient of Alvakronbach correlation coefficient ,in addition to the multiple regression analysis , the sprains, as well as the kurtosis, and the process of analysis for trio variance.This Thesis has reached to the following below results : First : In connected with the first aim : It's appeared that the sample of the research from university students have effective dialogue. Second : Regarding to the second aim : The results have showed that the sample of the research from the university students have features that Find all. Thirdly : Regarding to the third aim : - Results have showed the presence of statistically significant positive relationship between the effective dialogue and some of the personal impressions for the sample in a complete manner. Fourth : In connected with the fourth goal : - The results have showed that all the features and the charactestics that Thesis has dealt with have contributed and participated to the prediction of the effective dialogue for members of the research sample.In the light of the findings and the results of this Thesis , the researcher has offered number recommendations and suggestions : They are as below : The Recommendations : 1. Recognize the contributory percentage (independent variable) in Mental fatigue (dependent variable).To achieve these goals, two measurements has been built to measure Mental fatigue and psychological stress. after that validity, reliability and discrimination strength were checked, A strati?ed random sample with equal distribution consisted of (300) male and female teachers of (6) colleges have chosen, distribute as three science colleges and three human science colleges form university of Baghdad, after data treatment using T - test for one sample and for two independent samples , Correlation coefficient , Cronbach alpha equation , ‎Graphic analysis three - way analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis the results showed the following : • First : according to the first aim : research sample showed that university teachers have Mental fatigue.• Second : according to the second aim : the finding have been showed that there was were no statically signi?cant differences in type variable and specialty variable (science or human science) revealed that there were no statically signi?cant differences, while variable scientific title showed statically signi?cant differences, furthermore professor title has more Mental fatigue than professor assistant , professor assistant title has more Mental fatigue than teacher title • Third : according to third aim : - findings showed the research sample of university teachers have psychological stress.• Forth : according to forth aim : - findings showed that there were statically signi?cant differences in type variable (male , female ) for female side , while specialty variable (science or human science) revealed that there were no statically signi?cant differences , and variable scientific title showed statically signi?cant differences and for professor title side , where the professor title has more stress than professor assistance title, professor assistance title has more stress than teacher title.• Fifth : according to fifth aim : - finding showed that psychological stress as a variable participating in Mental fatigue provision as a dependent variable for university teachersIn the view of results which research has reached , many of recommendations and suggestions was presented : Recommendations : Sit many training cycles and workshops for teaching council members at Baghdad University in the purpose of recognizing how much Mental fatigue and psychological stress they have.Suggestions : 1. Make study that links Mental fatigue with each of following variables : Study grade, period of service, age. 2. Expand the current study to include another classes and samples.

This is achieved by testing the null hypothesis against the following alternative hypotheses as follows : The first hypothesis - There is no Differences in Statistic at Level (0.05) among Order Grades for the individuals of the three Groups (First experimental Group And second Experimental Group and stander group) on the Scale of successful Identity at the retest - test application.The second hypothesis : - There is no Differences in Statistical at Level (0.05) among Order Gradesof First Experimental Group In tow Tests (retest - test and delayed - test) On Scale of Successful Identity.The third hypothesis : - there is no Differences in Statistical Related at Level (0.05) between Order Grades of second Experimental Group In tow Tests (retest - test and delayed - test) On Scale of Successful Identity.Also, For testing research thoughts the researcher use experimental design for equal groups with the two experimental groups and one stander group with the controlling , and used two tests (test and retest) sample of research consisted (30 students) of the second - stage from middle school randomly distributed among the three groups (the first experimental group and the second experimental group and the stander group) After Valence Procedures for the Groups Variables (degrees Students on Scale Successful Identity, Age Schedule, Numberof Years Repetition),The Researcher Applied involvement technique on the Students of the first Experimental Group and Applied Needs fulfillment technique With the Students In second Experimental Group and there is no Technical Applied With stander Group.The researcher constructed the following : - a - Scale of Successful identity : - After reviewing the literature research and previous studies in this research and based on the theoretical concepts of realty therapy and choice theory, the researcher has create this scale, and after verification of the truthfulness and steadfastness of this scale, the number of paragraphs is (32 paragraph) spread over three sections (skillful, competent, a sense of significance).b - Two extension they are, (the Counseling program according to the involvement technique) and (the Counseling program according to needs fulfillment technical) and on according principles of reality therapy as steps for the development of the Successful identity brought by William Glasser the theorist, each program have (14 Counseling sessions).The researcher used statistical methods to calculate the data of this research, (T - Test) for the two samples Independent, And the Pearson Coefficient, Alpha Cronbach equation, And Analysis Copykat of First Class for (Kruskal - Wallis), the test Mann - Whitney For two Independent samples, and the Wilcoxon test for Symmetric Samples.From the results of this research there are differences statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05) between the groups in the retest - test to measure successful identity, and when comparisons between these groups showed that there were statistically significant differences between arranged degrees of first Experimental Group and the stander group on the successful identity scale in retest - test to the first experimental group, and when comparing arranged degrees of second experimental group and the stander group showed that there were statistically significant differences between the second experimental group and the stander group on the successful identity scale retest - test to the second group, and when comparing arranged degrees first Experimental Group and second Experimental group showing no statistically significant differences between the first experimental group that used the technical (involvement) and between second group Which Used technical (Needs fulfillment).research results also found that there were no statistically significant differences between the retest - test and delayed test degrees arranged between the first Experimental Group, which used technical (involvement), and also there are no statistically significant differences between the retest - test and delayed test degrees between second Experimental group Technical used (Needs fulfillment).From this the Researcher concluded the below : - 1. The techniques (involvement and Needs fulfillment) is Effective on students at the middle stage.2. The interaction of the students in the two experimental groups with in the program steps were helped in the development of Successful identity.Another important recommendation that the researcher recommends the below : - 1. The problem of the study is centered around cognitive conception anxiety of the university students. Thus, the study question as follows : Is there correlation relationship between the cognitive conception anxiety and lifestyles.The university students have their special importance in society and nation development, therefore many studies search in their personality and the effect of anxiety on them to find out the threats and challenges that face them and how guide them to overcome these challenges.Accordingly, the study aims at finding out : 1. cognitive conception anxiety of university student2. the statistically significant differences in cognitive conception anxiety of university students according to gender and specialty.3. The styles of life ( ruling type, getting type, avoiding type and social type) of university students.4. the statistically significant differences in styles of life of university students according to gender and specialty.5. The relationship between the cognitive conception anxietyand the styles of life. 6. The contribution of styles of life in cognitive conception anxiety prediction.The study sample of (450) students is selected randomly as (225) male for scientific and humanistic studies and (225) female for scientific and humanistic studies.The study tools have been constructed by the researcher, the first is the cognitive conception anxiety scale of (30) items and the second is the styles of life scale of (41) items. The validity and reliability of two scales have been verified.The results of the study show that : 1. The university students have cognitive conception anxiety.2. There are statistically significant differences in cognitive conception anxiety according to gender factor in favor of female and there are statistically significant differences in cognitive conception anxiety according to specialty factor in favor of scientific studies and there are interaction between the variables.3. The styles of life : a) The students have rule type style.b) They have getting type style.c) They have avoiding type style d) They have not social type style.4. There are statistically significant differences in styles of life according to gender factor in favor of female, and there are not statistically significant differences according 5. there are not statistically significant differences according to specialty and there are not interaction among the variables.6. Determining the ability to solve the problems that are related to the high orders of the research sample. 2. And this has been confirmed by several studies, such as Swanson (Swanson,1990) (Swanson 1992) studies as confirmed that the levels of knowledge of knowledge of high relate to the best performance in problems solving and Armbruster 1989)) has found that the knowledge of Mtacognitionplays several cognitive roles in creative problem - solving.And according to this data, many different methods to develop useful skills in problem solving and training, mainly based to metacognitive knowledge (Antoetti Ignazi & Perejo 2000). The acquisition metacognition has an active and important role in the educational process, it can reduce the difficulties faced by learners during their understanding of the subjects. And there are several results drawn from the acquisition of these skills, which help learners to regulate behavior and self - awareness through self - monitored for themselves during the learning processes, and create the opportunity to choose between learning strategies that ensure access to the full understanding and reused in other tasks (Al - hilawani, 2000 : 41). There are a many students today are not able to use the skills learned metacognition as they may not know any of the skills that will help them to learn and retrieval of long - term memory and affect the intellectual attainment and perhaps they don't aware to use (Schunk, 2000 : 53). As if these students do not spend enough time to study outside the classroom, and when trying to study, they are studying roughly and ineffectively, and this clearly means that they lack metacognition (Kovach, 2000 : 13). The style (reflection - impulse)is one of styles that took a share of the studies and scientific researches, as most of them confirmed the effectiveness of this method in interaction and information handling process, the credit for the confirmation of this method and framed theoretical and practical due to the psychologist Kagan, as he indicated that it is the basis for discrimination between individuals in the speed of their response to life situations. The reflective individuals tend to take the time to submit their responses, and they take a longer time to examine the alternatives available ,while the impulsive individuals tend to issuance of the first response intervenes on their minds, and this response is often incorrect and frequently admit their mistakes (Kagan, 1971 : 24 - 28). Cognitive styles in their concept are not limited to the cognitive aspect of personal information only, but so far as it is an important indicator to look at personal look Faculty included in all its dimensions. The cognitive styles are important criterion in the classification of individuals , but not rated bilaterally extreme, it is a rating connected, begins dimension (reflection, for example) and ends with another dimension (impulse) (Ibrahim, 2010 : 621). The basic goal of any knowledge is to help human in overcoming the problems that may be encountered while waging the midst of this life, and then the function of the various sciences is helping him to discover these problems, and provide ways to overcome them all kinds (Al - 'Aser 2000 : 78). After informed researcher on the concept of distinct students, he concluded that the distinct student is who passes the ministerial exams at the primary level at a rate of more than (90%), and is subject to the tests carried out by the ministry (the Authority supervising the schools of distincts affiliated to the General Directorate for Public Education, and include : intelligence tests (IQ), and a test of the material (Arabic,and Enlish Language, Mathematics andSciences).As required from distinct student to study the French language added to the overall average of 16% of marks.And in light of these facts , the objectives of the research were formulated as follow : - Identifying1 - The problem solving for the distinct students of secondary schools.2 - The metacognition for the distinct students of secondary schools.3 - The cognitive style (impulsivity - reflection) for the distinct students of secondary schools.4 - Difference in problem solving according to the variable of gender (male - female).5 - Difference in metacognition according to the variable of gender (male - female).6 - Difference in cognitive style (impulsivity - reflection) according to the variable of gender (male - female).7 - The relation between the (problem solving and metacognition), [problem solving and cognitive style (impulsivity - reflection) ], [metacognition and cognitive style (impulsivity - reflection)].8 - Identifying the extent to which the independent variables contribution(metacognition and cognitive style (impulsivity - reflection)] in the affiliated variable (problem solving).And to achieve the research goals , there must be three scales : the first is problem solving test which was prepared by (Al - Kubaisy,1989) according to Gilford theory, and modified by (Khaleel, 2009), then the researcher adopted it. The second is metacognition scale which was prepared by (Schraw & Dennison, 1994), so the researcher translated with assistance of experts in English language to make it suitable with the Iraqi environment and especially the research sample , the third is scale of cognitive style(impulsivity - reflection]which the researcher prepared according to Kagan theory. And the researcher extracted the face validity by displaying to a number of experts and arbitrators in educational and psychological sciences, and construction validity via extracting the distinguished power of its items and extracting relation of item degree with total degree of the criterion and relation of item degree with level degree affiliated to it and extracting matrix of correlations among each level of it and the total score of the criterion mainly overall scale , as has been extracted stability of each tool through re - testing, and alpha Cronbach. After collecting the data were processed using statistical appropriate methods, including : samples t - test (t - test) for one sample and two independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient (Coefficien (Pearson, and multiple regression analysis (Multiple Regression Analysis)., And after applying the criterion and the test on individuals of the sample and analyzing data statically, the researcher has reached to the following results according to the research objectives : • All the current members of the research sample have the ability of solve problem solving. • All the members of the current research sample have metacognition. • All the members of the current research sample have the reflective cognitive style. • The difference between the average male and female statistically significant, in favor of the average scores of females, which means that female high school students for distincts have the problem solving more than males. • There is no statistically significant difference between the average of male and female in metacognition. • There is no statistically significant difference between the average of male and female in the cognitive style (Impulsivity - Reflection). • All the links are significant positive , meaning that there is a direct correlation between the three variables of the current search. • That the value of the relative contribution of the independent variable metacognition in the dependent variable (problem solving) amounted to (.07960), a value statistically significant, while the value of the relative contribution of the variable cognitive style (Impulsivity - Reflection) in the dependent variable (problem solving) the amount (0.172 ), a statistically significant value as well. At the same time, this result indicates that there are other variables related to the dependent variable (solve problems) not covered by the current research, may be these variables, such as : the psychological situation and mood of the student, and his talent and inclinations and academic ambition and motivation, and economic status. These results have been interpreted according to the theory adopted for each tool of research tools. The researcher reached a number of recommendations and proposals

The basic sample of the study is ( 2 8 ) students whom they got the minimum level of scores within the scale of percentiles, they were distributed randomly into two groups (experimental group and control one), (14 ) students for each group. The researcher has done the equivalence of variables between these two groups in relating to the dependent variable. The researcher has constructed two statistical tools for the recent study, they are : 1.Constructing a scale of TheExistentail Attenndance The scale has been constructed in accordance with the theory of (frankle ) consisted of ( 23) items, sample of this scale consisted of ( 300) students of college. Validity of items has been tested by submitting the scale for a jury members group of specialists in sciences of education and psychology, after that making a statistical analysis for these items in two ways; ( the two extremist groups, relation between each item and the total score of scale, item with the scope, and one scope with other scopes), validity of the scale has been achieved through face and content validity. 2.Constructing a counseling program to develop theexistentail attendance for (francal) and (Planning, programming and budgeting ) model, sessions of the program reached to (12) counseling sessions of (45) minutes, two sessions per - week. The (SPSS) statistical briefcase has been used by the researcher for the treatment and analysis of data statistically.The results pointed to the following findings : 1.There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the experimental group and the control group in the post - test. 2.There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance among the mean scores of experimental group samples in both the pre and posttests3.There are no statistical significant differences on(0.05)level of significance between the mean scores of mals experimental group samples and females of the same geoup in the pre - test. The researcher presented a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions in the light of the findings of recent study.

And the procedures of cognitive controlling assist the person to control the important cognitive processes such as attention, perception, memory and using information through the awareness of these processes that require ability or dependent behavior and cognitive flexibility.Recent study aims at knowing the effectiveness of a counseling program depends on cognitive controlling in reducing cognitive failure for the students of College of Basic Education, and this can be through deriving the following hypotheses : 1. There are no statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of experimental group samples and the mean of those of the control group in the pre - test to measure cognitive failures.2. There are no statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance among the mean scores of experimental group samples in both the pre and posttest to measure cognitive failures.3. There are no statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of male experimental group samples and females of the same group in the pre - test to measure cognitive failures.For the purpose of measuring the following variable represented by cognitive failure, the researcher himself prepared a scale constructed according to the definition of Broadbent for the cognitive failures who defines it as “Individual failure in dealing with information he had or face, whether remembering or recognizing experience related to this information or the process of using it in accomplishing a task.” The scale consisted of (43) items formulated literally, the researcher checked out the psychometric features of the scale through procedures of validity and reliability.To achieve the aim of the study and its hypotheses, the researcher followed the experimental design that comes with the nature and variables of the study. The sample of the study is (24) male and female students from both the department of Sciences and Psychological Counseling in College of Basic Education whom their scores were too high in cognitive failures, they distributed randomly into two groups (experimental group and control one), (12)male and female students for each group. The researcher depending upon using the two groups design of pre and post tests, equivalence of variables has been done through(students’ scores in cognitive failures, father and mother education, arrangement of the birth in the family, age for each student).The counseling program depending upon cognitive control has been used with the experimental group only, there were two sessions per a week of (45) minutes, the total number of sessions was (12) counseling sessions and this requires using (SPSS) as an analytic statistical program for social sciences. The researcher use the following statistical tools in treating data : (percentage, t - test of two independent samples, Pearson Coefficient, mean, standard division, Chi - square (x) Good fitness test, Kolmogorov - Smirnov test, Mann - Whitney test, wilcoxon test, and the equation of the size of the impact of the nonparametric tests).The results pointed to the following findings : 1.There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance between the mean scores of experimental group samples and the mean of those of the control group in a pre - test to measure cognitive failures, for the benefit of experimental group.2. There are statistical significant differences on (0,05) level of significance among the mean scores of experimental group samples in both the pre and posttest to measure cognitive failures, for the benefite of posttest.3. This scale has been exposed to ajury members of experts in psychology and Psychological counseling for ensuring the face validity. The reliability of the scale has been calculated by using test - retest. Cognitive counseling program has been constructed according to ( ELLIS ) theory. The number of counseling sessions were ( 16 ) and the face validity has computed by exposing the Program to ajury members of experts in the psychological counseling. Then it Was applied on a sample of (400) students (males and females) to obtain The Scale's psychometric Characteristics. Items discriminations face validity , translation validity , factorial validity Construct validity and reliability are computed. Reliability by Cronbach's Alpha method Was ( distraction 0.38 / social control 0.43/ anxiety o.71/ punishment 0.55/ re - appraisal 0.46). so the scale is ready to be applied, with (30) items and a hypothetical mean of (75) the reaches also adopted mindfulness Scale langer's 1992, with (20) items and a hypothetical mean of (40) witch Was submitted to a group of and experts for validity confirmation. Then the scale Was applied on the some sample to obtain its psychometric Characteristics. Items discrimination Difference significance , face validity , translation validity , construct validity and (reliability) are computed. By the use of split - half method reliability was (0.38) before correcting , (0.55) after correcting with Spearman Brown equation and (0.56) by the using of Cronboach's - Alpha method. thus , the scale was ready to be applied.The results of the current study show that the sample students have both thought - control strategies and mindfulness and that the mostly used strategies are (re - appraisal social control and distraction) respectively. It is also shown that there is significant differences in the use of some thought - control strategies according to gender in favor of. Females in (worry / social control and re - appraisal) strategies , But no significant difference is shown for (distraction and punishment) strategies , Finally it has been shown that there is a strong relation (0.99) Between the two variables (thought - control strategies and mindfulness) and that mindfulness can predict thought control strategies used by student which proves the above - mentioned hypothesis to be true. Based on these result the researcher presented a set of recommendations and suggestions for future research's.

The current research has strived to realizing the liaison correlations among skills of self - affirmation, the emotional Stability and the moral principles for the educational advisers in Baghdad governorate at the general directorate of educational in KARKH and RUSAFA, and of both general( male - female) and the research sample consisted of (300 ) of educational he/ she advisers chosen from the six general directorate of Education, and the results have revealed that the educational advisers of the current research sample enjoyed skills of self - affirmation, emotional equilibrium and in the moral values, the results have displayed also, that the period of service have been contrasted in the three variables, one for the short period and second for short period service, and third for the long period of service for each service separately. The results have proved that there is positive liaison correlation among the three variables of the research, skills of, self - affirmation, emotional equilibrium and the moral principles, and the current research has come up with anumber of recommendations and suggestions.

Abstract: حظي تاجيل الاشباع (Delay of Gratification) على انتباه قليل في مجال التعلم الاكاديمي، على الرغم من ارتباطه بمجموعة من المحددات الدافعية التي تشير الى الميول الدافعية لدى المتعلمين في المواقف الاكاديمية التي تمكنهم من تبني استجابات محددة تجاه بدائل الاشباع | Delay of gratification acquired little attention in academic learning field although it is related with several of motivate limits that indicates to motivate trends of the learners in academic attitudes which make them able to adopt certain towards immediate gratification substitution and delay substitution. This concept is considered one of the psychological and knowledge necessities that help the students to achieve and promote and achieve academic objectives. It is related to other variables such as personality traits and tendencies of achievement objectives.The present study aims at knowing the postponing of academic gratification and personality traits and the tendencies of the achievement objectives for the students of Baghdad University as well as knowing the range of contribution of each of personality traits tendencies of achievement objectives in delay of gratification of the students of Baghdad University. The researcher adopted the scale of postponing of academic gratification which is prepared by (Bembenutty and Karabenick 1998a) which she translated from English to Arabic.It includes (10) items distributed equally on two components (social academic gratification and nonsocial academic gratification) with four substitutions for the answers in addition using Cattell’s test for the sixteen factors (p.16) to measure personality traits. Four of the personality traits were used based on a summary picture adopted by the researcher (Al - Rubaye) which were distributed as the following enthusiasm against tranquility (13) items, boldness and dare against fear (12) items, self - trust against hope losing (13) items and experimentation against reserving (10) items. In addition building of a scale of the tendencies of the achievement objectives according to the quadruple model by (Pintrich & Schunk 1996) to measure the tendencies of the achievement objectives of the targeted group. The scale contains (50) in five scales distributed on four fields. The researcher made sure of the standard characteristics of the research tools by apply the scale on sample of (320) male and female students chosen by random class. Final application sample amounted to (500) students as (226) male students and (274) female students from Baghdad University who were chosen randomly. After applying the research tools and analyzing data the researcher concluded the following results : 1 - University students are characterized by instant gratification in performing their studying tasks. 2 - University students are characterized by traits of (boldness, self - confidence, experimentation and tranquility).3 - University students enjoy high capability of performing tasks by all the objective tendencies. 4 - There is a relation between postponing of academic gratification and personality traits for University students.5 - There is a relation between postponing of academic gratification and the tendencies of the achievement objectives for University students.6 - There is a relation between personality traits and the tendencies of the achievement objectives for University students.7 - The relation between the variables of this research are interactive among themselves and their influence is variable and exchangeable According to these results the researcher introduced the following conclusions : 1 - University students are characterized by instant gratification in performing their studying tasks.2 - University students are characterized by traits of (boldness, self - confidence, experimentation and tranquility).3 - University students enjoy high capability of performing tasks by all the objective tendencies. Also the researcher introduces several recommendations, the most important are : 1 - Encourage teaching staff in the university to make programs of training and educational instructions in studying rooms to invoke and train the students on delay of gratification and practice self - control.Also the importance of teaching the students how to develop their awareness of the future objectives to test positive and negative results that are related to their objectives.2 - Teaching staff members have to enroll the students in learning activities that increase their desire in academic delay of gratification and train the students how to overcome the distractions during studying their lessons, as well as how to face attractive instant substitutions to support their academic delay of gratification which lead to raise their studying performance.Also the researcher introduces some suggestions, the most important are : 1 - Studying the relation between academic delay of gratification and its motive elements and expose the best motive elements in predicting of academic delay of gratification.2 - Experimental study to research the relation between student preference to academic delay of gratification and their real behavior.

Abstract: The present study aims at identifying : 1. The thinking types dominating among university students. 2. The emotional memory of university students.3. The extent to which the thinking types and emotional memory contributes in the personality traits of university students. The sample includes (400) male and female students who have been rand only selected by the stratified sampling method of a proportioned distribution. The sample is selected from (8) humanity and scientific colleges , distributed as (216) male and female students at the humanity colleges in the amount of (92) male and (124) female , and (184) male and female students at the scientific colleges in the amount of (52) male and (132) female. The total student male were (144) , and total student from female were (256) Three instrument have been employed : 1. Thinking styles Positive and Negative scale consisting of (36) items , by (18) items for type constructed by the researcher herself.2. Emotional memory scale consisting of (45) items constructed by the researcher herself.3. Freibarger personality traits scale (1970) which has been translated into Arabic language by Alawi on the Egyptian environment. The Arabic version of this scale consists of (56) items distributed on (8) triats. The psychometric features of the three instruments have been achieved including face validity , construct validity , discriminating power , as well as reliability coefficient has been computed by using test - retest and Alpha - cronbach methods. The following statistical methods have been used : ( Chi Square , one sample t - test, two independent samples t - test , two interrelated samples t - test , Pearson correlation coefficient, Alpha cronbach , Two way Analysis of variance with interaction , Multi - regression analysis , point - biserial correlation , and Fai correlation).After analysing data statistically , results show the following : 1. University students have a positive thinking type. 2. University students have a good emotional memory. 3. Depression trait is dominating in university students , and have a low level of personality traits (neurosis , aggressive , irritable , social , calm , controlled and regulated). 4. No statistically significant differences between males and females in thinking type positive and negative , Humanity specialization students are superior to scientific ones in positive thinking type , No interaction has been found between gender and specialization in thinking type positive and negative. 5. No statistically significant differences between males and females in the emotional memory , Humanity specialization students are superior to scientific ones in emotional memory , No interaction has been found between gender and specialization in emotional memory. 6. No statistically significant differences have been found in personality traits (neurosis , aggressive , social , controlled) , There are statistically significant differences in the following personality traits (depressed , irritable , calm , regulated) in favor of females , No effect for academic specialization on the personality traits (neurosis , aggressive , depressed , irritable , social , controlled , regulated) , There is a statistically significant difference in the academic specialization in calmness trait in favor of the scientific specialization. There is no interaction between gender and Specialization variables in personality traits. 7. The contribution of negative correlation statistical significant between positive thinking types and personality traits (aggressive , depressed , irritable) , There is a positive correlation of statistical significant between positive thinking type and personality traits (social , calm , controlled , regulated). - The contribution of positive correlation statistical significant between negative thinking type and personality traits (aggressive , depressed , irritable) , and the contribution of negative correlation statistical significant between negative thinking type and personality traits (social , calm , controlled , regulated). - The contribution of negative correlation statistical significant between the emotional memory and personality traits (neurosis , depressed) , There is a statistically significant positive correlation between emotional memory and calmness. - There is a contribution of the positive thinking type in the following personality traits (depressed , social , calm , controlled , regulated) , and there is no a contribution of the positive thinking type in the personality traits (neurosis , aggressive , irritable). - There is a contribution of the negative thinking type in the personality traits (aggressive , depressed , irritable , social , calm , controlled , regulated) , and there is no a contribution of the positive thinking type in personality traits (neurosis). - There is a contribution of the emotional memory in the traits of (neurosis) , and no a contribution in the other personality traits.
