Abstract: يهدف البحث الحالي سلوك الاستقواء وعلاقته بتقدير الذات, والتعرف على الفروق الاحصائية في السلوك الاستقوائي على وفق متغير الجنس ( ذكور - اناث ) , والتعرف على مستوى تقدير الذات لدى طلبة المرحلة المتوسطة , والتعرف على الفروق الاحصائية في تقدير الذات على وفق مت | The current work aims at investigating the bully behaviour scale and its relation with the self - evaluation, as well as recognizing the statistical differences concerning this type of behaviour according to gender differences (males and females). The study also focuses on identifying the level of self - evaluation among secondary school students and showing the statistical differences according to gender (males and females). The sample included in this study comprises 400 students (males and females) in the secondary schools. Those are chosen according to the level of their study and randomly in Karbala (2015 - 2016). To accomplish the aims of this work, the researcher has done the following : 1. Making a measurement for studying bullying scale including seven branches. The researcher has checked its differentiation strength for its points and its psycho - metric measurement, working out its face validity and construction validity. Also, reliability is worked out via testing and retesting using Pearson correlation coefficient and Alpha Cronbach's equation. The scale in its final state is composed of 34 points distributed to several domains ( the domain of body, the verbal , social , sexual, racial, electronic domains and possessions). 2. Adopting the bullying self - evaluation (2011). The researcher has enquired about its discriminatory strength concerning its points and its psychometric properties. The validity is inspected via two ways : face validity and construction validity. The reliability is gotten via testing and retesting as well as using Alpha Cronbach's equation. The scale in its final state comprises 18 points suitable to measure the students' self - evaluation in the secondary schools. The researcher has applied the two scales to the sample of the study. After analyzing and treating the data statistically using the following statistical methods : T - test for one sample, T - test for two independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient, Chi - Square, T - test to test the correlation. The researcher has concluded the following : 1. There is an inconsiderable bullying behaviour among the secondary school students. 2. There are statistical differences in practicing bullying behaviour in relation to gender and on behalf of the males. 3. The secondary school students have a high self - evaluation.4. There are statistical differences among the secondary school students in relation to self - evaluation attributed to gender and on behalf of the males. 5. There is a weak relation with no statistical evidence between bullying and self - evaluation. The researcher has suggested and recommended a number of future studies concerning the bullying behaviour and its relation to self - evaluation.

The problem of the study can be summarized in the following question : "Is there sympathy in private and public school teachers towards their pupils?The aims of this study are limited to the following points : 1. Constructing a sympathy measurement for teachers in public and private schools towards their pupils. 2. Measuring the level of sympathy among the public and private school teachers. 3. Recognizing the differences of sympathy levels in those teachers according to the variant of class and type of education (public or private). 4. Identifying the differences in sympathy levels among those teachers according to the variant of gender (males or females). 5. Knowing the relationship between the sympathy level among the those teachers and the variant of educational background. 6. Recognizing the relationship between the sympathy level among those teachers according to the variant of age.7. Knowing the relationship between the sympathy level among those teachers according to the period of service in education. 8. Recognizing the relationship of sympathy level among them according to their marital status. 9. Identifying the differences in the sympathy levels in those teachers according to the variant of social condition (married, single, widower, divorced). 10. Identifying the differences in the sympathy levels among those teachers according to the variant of gender (males or females) and the type of classes (private or public). The sample of this study consists of 502 teachers selected randomly from 369 schools (private and public) in Basra. Concerning the theoretical framework of this research, the researcher exhibited a number of theories that explain sympathy, then the researcher exposed some studies written on this topic. The model adopted is made by Hoffman (1982) which sees sympathy as something related to the awareness of others' feelings, thoughts, his intentions, aims and self - evaluation. To accomplish the goals of this study, it is necessary to use a means of measuring sympathy. The researcher has constructed this measurement tool according to the scientific ways of making measurements. She gathered the points of measurements and showed them to a number of experts working in the field of psychological counseling and psychology. After getting acceptance for 45 items in, the researcher made this scale. After that, she get the discriminant validity for these items by getting the T - test. All these tests were perfect except for 10 items, and by getting SPSS through using two extreme groups, it is shown that all the items are consistent except 13 items. Thus, 31 items were obtained and thus the criterion was formed in its final state. In order to be sure about the reliability, it is measured by a number of ways such as half - split by suing the correlation factor between half - split reliability reaching (0.86) and correction by using Brown - Spearman's equation and measured via Cronbach's equation and the value of stability was (0.92). By using SPSS, the researcher has reached at the following results : 1. There are differences with statistical evidence between the sympathetic staff of teachers in both types of schools. 2. There are no statistical differences between the teachers towards their pupils in both types of schools. 3. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and gender. 4. There is a statistical relationship between sympathy and age of those teachers.5. There a statistical relation between sympathy and the period of service in teaching. 6. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and marital status. 7. There is a statistical relation between sympathy and the academic status towards the negativity. 8. There are no statistical differences between sympathy and the variant of social condition (married, single, widower, divorced).9. There are no evidential differences between sympathy and the social variant (private or public school). The researcher recommends the following : 1. Employing sympathy among male and female pupils via holding discussing sessions explaining the scope of their influence and their role in treating with the pupils and growing their sympathy. 2. Building schools for those who need special needs to make their teachers able to be sympathetic with them in correspondence with their individual needs. 3. Building new schools and visiting a number of classes within a single school to limit the number of pupils within the class to enable suitable sympathy.

The current research has been confined to secondary school students scientific and humanitarian fifth grade and stage of the second stage, Consisting of (400) students were selected With random way that disproporionate distribution of schools of the province of Babylon, amounting to ten secondary schools five males and five females.To achieve the objectives of research, the researcher make a measure of symbolic violence, which consists of three areas identified by the definition : a set of symbols and references and connotations, and the looting of freedoms and arbitrariness and tyranny hidden and disguised. The discriminatory power of the symbolic to measure of violence, which amounted to (55) have been chosen, the characteristics Alsekoumtrah that presented validity and reliability.For scale of the existential frustration the researcher depending the scale (Saadi 2009) for the non - existential furcation which consists of (45) points in its final image disruptive among five filed, the researcher extract validity and reliability.The two scale have been applied, after analysis and processing the date statically by using the Al Taiee test to one sample than to tow other difference the results were as the follow.1 - Members of the current research sample no suffering to symbolic violence.2 - The high school students differ in the moral significance of symbolic violence by type (males - females) and in side of females and specialization (humanitarian - second stage).3 - Suffering members of the current research sample from the existential frustration to the gender (males - females).4 - There is differences in the moral significance of the existential frustration according to the gender (males - females) to the side of females. 5 - There is no correlation between the symbolic violence and existential frustration.After extracting all the results the researcher produce sone of the conclusions, recommendations and uggestions

Abstract: تعد مرحلة المراهقة في جميع المجتمعات من اكثر المراحل تاثرا بالازمات والضغوط النفسية, كونها مرحلة الوعي والنضج ومرحلة التفاعل مع متطلبات العصر ومستجدات الحياة, ومن ضمن هذه المرحلة فئة طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية والتي تقع على عاتقهم مستقبلا قيادة معظم مفاصل ال | In all societies, adolescence is considered as a life stage mostly affected by troubles and psychological pressures since it is conceived as the stage of self - awareness and maturity as well as a stage of cooperation and concordance with the requirements and prerequisites of life. Students of preparatory schools are included in this stage for they are required to have the lead of the society and its different domains. Those students may face a lot of psychological troubles that will affect their lifestyle negatively especially at the level of communication and interaction. There are two realizations of egocentrism. First, some of them believe that they are the center of others' attentions. Second, others make stories about themselves reflecting their belief in unrealistic thoughts without discussing their truth values, these, in turn, affect their personalities causing some troubles. During adolescence, there appears a positive side which is the shaping of self identity, and negatively how personal roles become unstable or scattered. During this stage of life, some ask about their being and what s/he will be. Accordingly, the individual will face an inner conflict of identifying the self. Those who have this symptom are suffering from self - unawareness in that the individual feels lost, dependent, ignorant. Thus, psychologists find it necessary to investigate about this matter. Thus, the main objective of this study is to investigate the egocentrism and the trouble of students' identity of preparatory school. It also tries to recognize the relative differences between males and females as far as this matter is concerned. It also focuses on the educational field differences, whether pure sciences or human sciences. Further, the study aims at identifying the correlative relation between egocentrism and student' personality crisis.To attain the objectives of the study, an equal and random number of students in preparatory schools is selected from the center of Basra (400 male and female students) of both fields of study. AThe researcher chose two instruments of analysis. The first one is to measure egocentrism and its psycho - metric features are attested (explicit honesty and structural one), and stability of the test is done via testing and retesting. Thus, the correlative factor reaches (0.82) following Cronbach's Alpha. The stability value gets (0.78). The second tool of analysis is the measurement of personality or identity crisis, its psycho - metric features are attested and its measurement stability is done via testing and retesting. The correlative factor gets (0.81) following Cronbach's Alpha, and the stability value gets (0.80) using the appropriate statistical means to achieve the purpose of this study. The main results of this study are : 1) The specimen did show the phenomenon of egocentrism and this can be attributed to this phenomenon is temporary occurring at a particular stage of life such as during adolescence, and during the passage of time, egocentrism abates via the teenagers' cooperation and interactions.2) There is an extreme positive and correlative relation between egocentrism and identity crisis. The researcher has recommended that cooperation and interaction should be encouraged especially between the teenagers and their parents and also their teachers. The researcher has also suggested that students at the intermediate level, who are suffering from egocentrism and how their parents treat them, should be investigated.

Undoubtedly, internet network is the newest and most widely spread among all. In spite of its being most important and offering great services in the different fields of life, internet entices users to spend long hours surfing the websites in an abusive way which negatively impacts them. One of the problems that man suffers from nowadays is the existential frustration which is resulted from feelings of emptiness, boredom and uselessness that hit the man in the different aspects of life. The muchness of psychological pressures, crises that struck the man and the dullness of the environment that surrounds him have the greatest impact on man to live a life that is free of meaning and values. The problem of the study is summarized in the answer to the following question : Is there any relationship between internet addiction and existential frustration in adults? The study gains its importance from the variables of internet addiction and existential frustration, the target sample of adults which makes a large population of the society. The importance also comes from finding the relationship between the two variables; where internet addiction might not be a separate disorder but a result of the individual's suffering of frustration. The study aims at knowing the following : 1. The level of internet addiction in a sample of adults. 2. The level of existential frustration in a sample of adults.3. The differences in the level of internet addiction in adults according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age)4. The differences in the level of existential frustration in adults according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age)5. The relationship between internet addiction and existential frustration in a sample of adults.The sample of the study included adults who are officially employed in the governmental institutes of education, higher education, health as well as those who are unemployed but officially registered in the social welfare institutes in Almuthana governorate in the year (2016). The number of the research sample is (400) adults who were chosen in a stratified random way. In order to achieve the goals of the research, the researcher built two scales to measure internet addiction and existential frustration whose items were chosen by reviewing literature and previous studies. The procedure of building the items was done practically, starting with assigning the fields, conducting reliability and validity and analysis of the items. After collecting the data and having it statistically analyzed by means of using SPSS Data Analysis Software, the researcher reached at the following results : 1. The research sample does not suffer from internet addiction.2. The research sample suffers from existential frustration.3. The unemployed use the internet more than the employed.4. Adults between 21 - 39 use the internet more than others.5. The unemployed between 21 - 39 use the internet more than others.6. There are no statistically significant differences between males and females in using the internet.7. There are no statistically significant differences in existential frustration according to the variables of (social type, professional status and age).8. There exists a weak correlation between internet addiction and existential frustration. In the light of these results, the researcher has come up with the following recommendations : 1. The ministries of the government should hold seminars and workshops for their employees to warn them of the dangers of internet addiction. There should be coordination with the ministry of higher education to provide specialized lecturers in psychological health and psychological therapy. 2. Eradicating unemployment by finding suitable job opportunities for youths to secure them from its dangers, such as frustration. The researcher suggested the following two future studies and researches : 1. Conducting a study about the pressures of life and its relation with internet addiction.2. Conducting a study about future thoughts and its relation with existential frustration.

Abstract: Adolescence is a period of development that extends from approxi1nately thirteen to eighteen years of age, so students in the intennediate schools are in their adolescence period. During this period the adolescent is confronted with rapid bodily changes,sexual n1aturation, and different de1nands and expectations fron1 family, friends, and con11nunity. This r : riod ofturn1oil makes them prone to psychological disturbances, for which the help of the consclers is needed.Many s.tudents during this period can develop compulsive behavior which necessitate early detection and management to prevent its consequences. Detection needs a suitable diagnostic instrument for Iraqi students, which the researcher found ' unavailable.That was the reason for conducting this research which has more than one purpose.The purposes of this study is : 1) Constructing an instrument to diagnose compulsive behavior in students of intermediate schools.2) Investigating the diflerences in compulsive behavior according to the following variables : a - Sex b - Grades in school c - Economical status. d - Birth order.This is to demonstrate if compulsive behavior is influenced by such variables and to answer the following questions : a - Are there any significant differences 111 compulsive behavior to sex di ffcrence?b - Are there any significant dif'ferences in compulsive behavior according to the students achievement in school? c - Are there any significant differences in co1npulsi behavior according to the students economical status?d - Are there any significant differences in co1npulsi behavior according to their birth order?Procedures : In order to construct the instrument, the compulsive behavi r was defined according to the classification of the Americ Psychiatric Association (DSM - IV), and the World Hea h Organization (ICD - 10), which are used by the colleges of medici ein the Arab countries. The instrument included six fields : 1. Cleanliness.2. Overemphasizing3. Order and tidiness.4. Counting and repetition.5. Superstition.6. Compulsory Sequence.Those fields produced (100) items.The items were logically analyzed by group of experts a ~specialists in psychiatry, psychology, and educational counselling..The items are then statistically analyzed so as to investiga ~ their validity, reliability and ability to differentiate between t opposite groups. As a result of the analysis, some invalid items we e put a way. So the number of ite1ns were reduced to (60). Fi erepeated items are then added to reveal the accuracy and seriousne $ of the respondents. This made the final version of the suggeste instrument to be composed of (65) items. Three alternatives wer 1 used to measure responses it each item (it happens to me : often iseldom, never).To check the validity of the instrument, the researcbe 1 depended on : 1. Face validity : by introducing the items for evaluation by experts in psychiatry and psychology.2. Validity of construct : through some indicators in the measure like differential ability (the ability of the item t distinguish between two opposite groups), and the intema ·structure ( by finding the relation of the item score to the tota : I score of the measure and the relation of the item score to th : axis score).3. Factor validity.4. Corresponding validity : by calculating the correlation coefficient of the present instrument and the measure o , Psychothenia and the measure of Obsession Compulsion which were 0.85, and 0.89 respectively.Consistency (reliability) of the instrument was calculate as follows : 1. Method of split in half by using Pearson Correlation : coefficient corrected by Spearman Brown. It was 0.93.2. Method of Test - Retest ,it was 0.85. Now, the instrument became ready for application and valid t measure compulsive behavior among adolescents. So it was applie on sample of 300 male and female students. And by statistically· analyzing the responses, the researcher arrived at the followin results : 1. Mean of scores of the sample (61.86) was higher than the hypothetical n1ean of the measure (60). But this difference was not significant on the level of significance of (0.05) and the degree of freedom of 299.2. Results of the differential analysis of the sex variable revealed significant differences between males and females and positively on the side of fe111ales on the total measure and on the five axes.3. There are significant differences in con1pulsion in the variable of econ0111ic level (high, n1iddle, and low) and positively on the side of the low level 4. There are significant differences concerning co111pulsion in the variable of the student's order among his brothers and sisters (only, first, iniddle, last) and positively on side of only and first.Among the recommendations of the study are thefQJlowi : 1g1. Employing the suggested instrument for the initial identification of con1pulsivc behavior in schools, psychological counselling centers, and psychiatry clinics.2. Employing the suggested instrument in career counselling because individuals with compulsive personality are fit for certain occupations.The researcher suggested further research to 1. Investigate the relation of con1pulsive behavior to other variables like place of residency (rural or urban), age, and the way of upbringing by parents. 2. Constructing similar instruments for other psychologicaldisorders to construct an inventory with different scales similar t Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory.

Abstract: استهدف البحث الحالي التعرف على : اثر اسلوب القصد المعاكس في خفض القلق الوجودي لدى عينة البحث من خلال اختبار الفرضيات الاتية : ا - توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين رتب درجات المجموعة التجريبية على الاختبار القبلي والبعدي.ب‌ - توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بي | The current research addresses the identification of the impact of the opposite - intent approach at decreasing the existential anxiety of the research's sample by assessing the following hypothesis : A - There are differences of statistical indication among the ranks of the experimental group's marks concerning the pre and post test. B - There are differences of statistical indication among the ranks of the control group's marks concerning the pre and post exam.C - There are differences of statistical indication among the ranks of the experimental and control groups' marks concerning the pre and post test.In order to examine the research hypothesis, the researcher uses the experimental two - group design ( experimental group and control group for the pre and post test) to apply for the male old - age research community resident in Governmental Homes at Basra and Baghdad Provinces which number is (131) as per 15/02/2014. The research sample chosen consists of (100 old - age individuals) while the experiment sample consisting of (20 old - age individuals) who ranked marks higher than the hypothetical medium of the scale. Those last are distributed fairly into two groups (experimental group & control group). Equivalence between the two groups is made at some of variables such as (respondent grades on the existential anxiety scale, chronological age, length of residence period). The experimental group exposes to a counseling program in accordance with the opposite intent approach, while the control group does not receive any counseling program.For achieving the aim of the current research and testing its hypotheses, the following steps are made by the researcher : 1 - The construction of the existential anxiety scale of 42 items at five areas (Existential vacuum, the meaning of life, the meaning of death, the meaning of suffering, loss of social attribution). To verify the psychometric standards of the scale, it is important to verify the reliability of scale in terms of virtual reliability and the reliability of construction. As for stability measures, the researcher relies upon the re - test method as the reliability coefficient appears to be (0,83).2 - The construction of a counseling program on accordance with the opposite - intent approach, as the total program sessions are (14) counseling session presented as three sessions per week.In terms of the statistical procedures, a number of measures are employed including : ((Pearson correlation coefficient, two - independent - sample t - test, one - sample t - test, Mann Whitney test, and Wilcoxon test).Results of the current research show the following : 1 - There are differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to the experimental group in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale.2 - There are no differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to the control group in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale. 3 - There are differences of statistical indication between the average marks of individuals belonging to both experimental and control groups in the pre and post tests at the existential anxiety scale.In light of research results, a number of recommendations and suggestions emerges.Recommendations : 1 - Benefit of social researchers working in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs from the program developed to reduce existential anxiety in this age group.2 - Benefit of the existential anxiety measurement means prepared by the researcher during the current research in order for using it for detecting existential anxiety at other age groups by educational counselors.3 - The continuous concern of old - age individuals by family and society for the huge experiences of this age group at various fields, which can be benefited of to the social service.Suggestions : 1 - Conducting a survey study to identify the level of existential anxiety of old - age individuals at the Governmental Old - age Homes of Iraq.2 - Conducting a survey study to identify the impact of opposite - intent approach on other variables like psychological alienation, affinity, and compassion. 3 - Conducting a study to reduce existential anxiety of old - age individuals resident at Governmental Homes by means of another approaches like self - sublimation or thinking - shift, and comparing their results with the results of current research

B To achieve these aims a scale of self - insight was developed.after reviewing theoretical frames literature studies and adopting bekker theory 2006 the items analysed by the discriminate power for the items through contrasted graup method and the relationship between the score of one item with the aggregate score of items. the unfit items were excluded and then a factorial analysis was used the scale of self - insight appeared to have three dimensions 1 - The objective look to the self including 28 items.2 - Social sensibility consisting of 7 items.3 - The ability to manage the new positions including 4 items.A scale for self - insight in its final version was prepared containing indicators of face validity and factorial validity while the reliability was obtained by two methods spilt half method and cronbuchs alpha.the reliability coefficient of the first factor was0.83 the second factor0.74and the third factor 0.70 by cronbachs alpha method while in spilt half method the same factors were 0.79 - 0.70 and 0.69 respectively. According to the second variable the creative personality the researcher adopted kaufmans scale after conducting the translation validity and pursuing the required procedures the reliability coefficient was obtained by two methods test - retest 0.80cronbachs alpha 0.88.The following findings attained after analyses of data 1 - The college students have self - insight in its multiple dimensions2 - There were not differences in the objective look to the self between males and females. 3 - The humanistic students are superior to the scientific students in the objective look to the self. 4 - The females were superior to the males in social sensibility t - value amounted 4.005 - There were not differences between humanistic students and scientific students in social sensibility t - value amounted 1.02 6 - The males were superior to the females in the ability to manage the new position t - value amounted 4.15 - The college students characterized with creative personality t—value amounted 17.71 - There were not differences between males and females in creative personality t - value amounted 1.424 C - there were not differences between males and females in creative personality t - value amounted 0.356 - There were not differences between humanistic and scientific students in creative personality t - value amounted 0.47 - 0.32 - 0.22. There was a positive correlation between self - insight in its multiple dimensions and creative personality the value of correlation coefficient amounted ( 0.47 ), (0.32) , ( 0.22 ) respectively. In the light of the above - mentioned findings the researcher concluded several recommendations and suggestions related to the findingsrecommendations1 - through mass media affective programs and sessions parents may be aware of right methods for bringing up their children such methods may affect building a realistic look for them and to make them far away from falsifying the self and to know their real level for example their scientific levels and the nature of their behavior whether it is negative or positive 2 - Connecting the text book materials with a practical function to transform it to an applied experience in which the student participates through networks projects seminars shows conferences and exploratory excursions to cultivate creative thinking for students. suggestions further studies have to be conducted about self - insight in other social sections like judges leaders and athletes

The current research targets the following : 1 - Measuring the assistance behavior with its three dimensions (Favor, donation, Interference at urgency) at university students.2 - Measuring the assistance behavior with its three dimensions (Favor, donation, Interference at urgency) depending on the variable of gender (males, females) at university students.3 - Measuring the assistance behavior with its three dimensions (Favor, donation, Interference at urgency) depending on the variable of the specialty of study at university students.4 - Identifying the impact of the counseling program in accordance with the Interactive Confrontational Approach on the development of the assisting behavior with its three dimensions (Favor, donation, Interference at urgency) at university students.Concerning the limitation of the study (scope), the study was limited to university students in each of ((The College of Education for Pure Science, College of Arts, The College of Law, and the College of Engineering)).Also, in order to set the theoretical frame of the research, the researcher discusses the most important theories addressing the premises and basic concepts of personality and its different aspects, including Bern's Interactive Analysis Theory in reference to its most important premises. This theory is taken as the theoretical framework of the research, which has benefited from the guidance and therapeutic applications provided by it. Moreover, discussed are number of researches and studies that addressed important aspects of personality.In order to reach the goals and results of the research, the following actions are taken : 1 - The amendment of the scale of the Assistance Behavior of (Jaff 1992). The final form of the scale includes 41 points after having been statistically treated in order to extract the factors of honesty, discriminatory strength, and consistency, so the scale becomes ready for application. 2 - The scale is applied on a sample consisting of 400 male and female students from the colleges of Law, Engineering, Arts, and Pure Sciences Education who are selected arbitrarily. After analyzing their answers, 15 students are chosen at the same arbitrary way to form the group appeared to have a decline in assistance behavior, which is set as the experimental sample of the study on which the counseling program to be applied. In the same random way, a sample of 15 male and female students are chosen to form the control sample that is to prove the effectiveness of the counseling program.3 - Preparing and construction of the counseling program : The researcher draws the map of the counseling program to develop the assisting behavior at university students, benefiting from the outcome of Bern's Interactive Analysis Theory in terms of diagnostic and therapeutic steps in this field. The program includes (the identification of needs, the choice of priorities, determining the general and procedural goals, determining the number of sessions, choosing the topics of sessions, and the presentation of topics in each session). Then the researcher has submitted the program to a group of professors, specialists, and experts who pointed some notes that were taken by.4 - The program is applied by the researcher along (20) sessions through which the researcher applied the Assisting Behavior Scale on the experimental sample as well as conducting the statistical processes.The results are shown as follows : 1 - The research findings show the impact of the counseling program used as there are clear differences of statistical significance between the average degrees of each of the experimental and control groups after the application of the program; which is the evidence that the counseling program does have a role in developing the assisting behavior in university students.2 - The research findings show the existence of differences with statistical significance between the average degrees of the male and female samples, as it is clear that the male sample are more assisting than females.In light of the results of the research and to achieve benefit out of them, a group of recommendations and suggestions are formulated as shown in Chapter 4

Also, this category represents the youth stage which is one of the most accurate stages in life, the longest stage, and the most influential one. That's why it is necessary to focus great attention and a special care for the university youth as they are the crucial factor in the university in particular, and in the society in general.2 - Highlighting the importance of freedom and intellectual creativity as the nation feels the need to revival and flexibility far from stability, cognitive isolation, and intellectual stagnation. Intellectual freedom and getting away from rigid thinking helps to create a conscious generation of university youth.3 - The study of personality is the primary source of knowledge of human behavior because the subject matter of personality is not limited to examining what we are but what we ought to be.4 - Enriching the personality theory and the patterns theory in particular with cognitive relationships.5 - Also, the importance of this study comes from the linking between two variables (the intellectual stagnation and the five personality patterns, which are Neuroticism, extraversion, openness, vitality of conscience, and acceptability).To the knowledge of the researcher that no Iraqi or Arabic study has focused the linking of these two variables.Limitation of the Research : The current research is limited to students in the University of Basra / College of Education for Humanitarian Sciences and The College of Education for Pure Science, both sexes (male and female) for the academic year (2013 - 2014).To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted the analytical descriptive approach and applied the following tools in the study : 1) The scale the intellectual stagnation from the preparation of the researcher.2) The scale of the five patterns of personality prepared by the researcher, Abdul Karim Ghali in 2012.The researcher also used the statistical packages (SPSS) to manage and process data.Among the most significant outcomes of the study are the following : 1) High intellectual stagnation is evident among university students.2) Males and females are characterized with a level of intellectual stagnation.3) The students of scientific disciplines have a larger tendency to the feelings of intellectual stagnation compared with those in humanitarian disciplines.4) The highest average is for the acceptability factor, and the least is neuroticism. In the second place comes the openness factor, followed by the vitality of conscience, and ranked fourth is the extraversion factor.5) There is no evident correlation between intellectual stagnation and the five patterns of personality.Recommendations : In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the following : 1) To promote self - confidence and create a state of free talks within the educational situation in the university in line with the spirit of the era and the concepts of democracy.2) The establishment of symposia at the university and to provide free scientific and cultural atmosphere represented in open scientific discussions and consolidate the culture of talks, tolerance, and acceptance of other opinion, not to discarded or contempt it because of differences.3) To encourage the various media for the communication among the various community groups and the containment of their contradictions toward citizenship and the spread the spirit of open - mindedness and knowledge.4) The university should pay attention to students through seminars and wall bulletins to overthrow the pent - ups among the university students and to get rid of frustrations caused by academic failure to reach a state of balanced and psychologically stable personality.Proposals : 1) To conduct experimental study addressing the effectiveness of guidance programs in modifying and developing positive thinking, which is reflected on the intellectual stagnation.2) To conduct a miscellaneous study indicating the relationship between intellectual stagnation and other variables, such as methods of socialization, parental social treatment, and social personal responsibility

Thus, it can be determined the problem of the present study upon replying the following questions : 1) what is the level of anxiety examination of female students?2) does the style of dealing with self - have effect in acquiring skills of managing anxiety examination of female students?3) does the style of knowledge rehabilitation have effect on acquiring anxiety management during examination of female students?This study excites the student at preparatory stage by group skills assist them to overcome the anxiety during examination as the development of skills and acquiring it but the student effects in promoting his ability to manage his emotions and to control his self in all aspects of the life in addition to that the student will be responsible for himself at all times.The objectives of the study : - First : measuring skills of managing anxiety examination of female students/Second : identifying the effect of counselling program according to the style of dealing with self to develop skills of managing and controlling anxiety examination of female students of preparatory stage though electing the following hypothesis.1) No important statistical differences in the skills of managing and controlling examination among ranks of degrees of first experimental and control group in the posterior test at mark level of 0.05.Third : identifying the effects of consulting program according to the style of knowledge rehabilitation to develop skills of managing anxiety examination of the female students of preparatory school through testing the following tests. 1) No important statistical differences in skills of managing and controlling anxiety examination between ranks of degrees of second experimental and control groups in posterior test at mark level of 0.052) No important statistical differences in skills of managing and controlling anxiety examination between ranks of degrees of first and second empiric group in the posterior test at mark level of 0.05 3) No important statistical differences in skills of managing and controlling anxiety examination between ranks of degrees of first control and second empiric group in the posterior test at mark level of 0.05.Theoretical part of the present study includes theories and technical applied modes so that the researcher adopts theories of real consulting (Glacier) through applying stylist of dealing with self and knowledge consulting theory through applying knowledge reconstruction. The scope of the present study : - Community of the present study is consisted of : 1)measurement sample : it is totaled (?) female students at preparatory schools of Basrah Governorate Directorate of Education. 2) Experimental Sample : it is consisted of (45) female students were distributed on three groups each group of 15 female students for first empiric group and 15 female students for second empiric group and 15 female students for control empiric group. Tools of study : The literatures of firmer studies, the searcher adopts measurements of skills developing of managing the anxiety examination (Atallah, 2010) as this measurement consisted of 40 items in the primary form distributed by four fields : Muscle relaxation and controlling with physical symptoms - controlling negative thoughts or ideas - replacing it with positive thoughts or ideas - managing time. It is concluded group of psychometric characteristics for the items of measurements through producing it to group of experts and arbitrators in the education and psychology and after getting approval of 80% of the experts, the measurement became able to be applied so that the final form becomes consisting of forty items and that some items were applicable and later extracting the truth of measurement through using extinguishing force and correlation coefficient of items with total degree of the measurement and coefficient of items correlation with the field. The researches verify the truth of stability parameters y two ways (Re - test and Cronbach coefficient).Two consulting programs were built according to the style the dealing with self and knowledge rehabilitation as it is applied at Adul Majeed Al Majidi preparatory school for girls for the period from FEBV.16,2014 to April 24,2014 using chisquare - T test for two independent patterns - person correlation Coefficient) - Mann - Whitney - U test - Kruskal - Wallis - Ttest for a pattern) as a statical means to be applied in the present research. It differs according to the variation of societies, cultures and historical stages. It seems that human violence has increased by time, a matter which has given rise to a new science which is called (the science of Violence). A great amount of human history is a record of enmity and conflict among groups because for them it is the easiest method to reach their goals and advantages. Most thinkers and historians agree that human history is a history of violence and its methods were used all over the world along ages. A actually , the fact that violence is timeless, that is inherited by generations along centuries is confirmed. Collective violence represents an important aspect of violence in its social meaning , and arousing such a subject (Collective Violence) is no more than explaining the kind of the relationship between a man a group. The author notices that collective violence appeared due to the assembling of individuals in a society and the means of production.In the Iraqi society , however , collective violence, especially in the universities is a complicated phenomenon which is the result of the reaction and interrelations among a number of factors and variables which show the social crisis in Iraq. In fact it is the result of the abnormal circumstances of the country. Henceforth we can say that what the enemies of Iraq planned was creating a kind of chaos. It is shown that the groups act more violently in comparison with the individuals and perhaps this could be caused by the fact that the members group enhance one another because they behave covalently. One of the factors which arouses collective violence is Prejudice among the individuals, In this way violence becomes an essential factor and not absolute in making such prejudicious situations and if there had been no ability for violence, people's situations. Would have been less strict and more tender, and probably without prejudice. Besides, prejudice instigates man to act violently. So, prejudice is sometimes the result of violence and other times the cause of it. As violence coincided humanity from its beginning humanity knew negative trends and prejudice among individuals , groups and nations, a matter which formed uninterrupted series of clash, misery and misunderstanding among human beings, especially when prejudice becomes a trend in society with its own being , culture and symbol ,a matter vows enormous dangers in the all aspects of life. Other effective factors in the collective violence besides prejudice are situation pressures which lead to behaving against the standers the individuals have that is not to hurt others. These pressures are social facilitation. Because the Iraqi current environment witnesses a racial and religious attraction and noticeable violence with the existence of facilities from various social categories , it is worth studying as the author sees from his personal witnesses and relations with others and what her hears from them. Thus, we can say that this research gains its importance from the three variables it previously dealt with and how they react with each other (collective violence , prejudice and social facilitation) and play an important role in the individual's personality and in the most effective category in the track of events and their development. This category is the university students who are the pillar of future in a critical and historical stage which our society passes by : wars, political , social and economical crisis. The research aims at studying : - 1 - The relationship between collective violence , prejudice and social facilitation. 2 - The contribution of the independent variables (prejudice and social facilitation) to the total contrast of the following variable (collective violence). The research was restricted to the students of Baghdad and AL - Mustansaria universities for all sexes in the four stages of the morning class. To achieve the aims of his study , the researcher built up three measurements to measure up the collective violence , prejudice , and social facilitation - the sample of the construction consisted of 400 students - and after taking out discriminative of its items, Validity (Face Validity) and Reliability (by Retesting and Alpha Cronbach formula), the researcher applied it on a sample of (300) university students choose randomly from eight colleges in Baghdad and AL - Mustansaria universities. Having collected the data and treated them statistically by using t - test for one sample and t - test for tow Independent Sample and pearson correlation coefficient , Alpha Cronbach formula, Multiple Correlation, std - Error, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The research came up with : 1 - there is a positive relationship among the three variables of the research. 2 - the independent variable (prejudice) contributes to the following variable (collective violence) , while the other independent variable (social facilitation) does not contribute to the following variable (collective violence). The author came up with minor results : - the university students have collective violence. - the university students have prejudice. - the university students have social facilitation - there is a difference between male and female in the collective violence for the male. - there is a difference between male and female in prejudice for the male. - there is a difference between male and female in the social facilitation for the female. - there is a positive relationship between collective violence and prejudice. - there is a weak relationship between collective violence and social facilitation. - there is a weak relationship between prejudice and social facilitation.According to these results the author made many suggestions and instructions

After proving their validity and reliability the research has applied it on a sample of (45) children of both sexes. After collecting data and processing same statistically by the use of chi - square for sample , the research arrived to the following results : 1 - Preschoolers are characterized by the capacity in executive attention.2 - Bilinguals has excelled than Monolingual in executive attention. 3 - No different find out between children according to sex available.
