Ali Abdul Amir AL - Hayderi is contemporary Iraqi poet. He was born in the south of Iraq especially in the AL - Rifa'i town of Thi - Qar Governorate in 1936. He came from a religions family. When he finished his primary study, he moved with his family to Baghdad. His new life in Baghdad gave him the opportunity to learn and look forward to knowledge and culture.That helped him to attend the writers councils and participate in such councils, then he founded literary and cultural fair. This helped him to study deeply the Arabic poetry in all its eras and periods. All these factors helped him to become a famous poet and has especial position among his colleagues. He studied the per poses of poetry and was far away from satire and bad speech, his pronunciation was easy, interesting and layric with excellent music and tones, honest style.He isolated some large areas in poetic books for social and religious occasions, them he praise the prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him and his family). He organized poetic poems about their happiness and sadness. He was a great poet focusing in his poetry on the prophet's family, he described AL - Hamaza in different positions.He didn’t forget the scientists of art and thinking, them he praised them in their life and after their death. He was grateful and loyal to his state, earth, sky, water, rivers, mountains, and valleys remembering his state struggle against the foreign enemy.Sprinting he has many printed books about art and history.The present study consists of introduction, prileminary, three chapters, endings, sources, contents table and abstract in English.The prelude sheds the light on the used poetic perpases in the modern age that are obliged by the political and social conditions of Arab community. This helps to appear many Kinds of poetry that tackled the suffers and needs of the society such as : 1) The dramatic poetry : such as tragedy and comedy. 2) The national and political poetry which calls for liberation and independence.3) Social poetry; dealt with social diseases such as; poverty, illness, woman, liberation and society reformation.4) Colony poetry : dealt with emigrant poets and the strange state and also their homesick and some sample of their poetry.Includes two sections. The first one is about his life, name, surname, birth, childhood, biography, instructors, books, literary position, the opinions of famous writers in his poetry and his cultural sources which include : 1) Religious source and religious occasions.2) Literary heritage.3) Literary councils.Second sections deals with the traditional purposes that used by the poet, which are 1. Love affairs.2. AL - Hamza description 3. EnthusiasmChapter two entitled "The poetic Topics" which is divided into four section which are the first on is about praising which talks about prelisting the prophet Mohammed and his family and scientists. The second section deals with laming which includes laming the religious characters, the scientist and the private laming.The third section deals with "Al - Akhwaniyat" which includes : 1) Congratulation2) Greetings 3) Generosity 4) Other topics which includes : discussion, psalm, and the poetic letters and joy poetryThe fourth section is about the poetic history which talks the conditions of accounting the poetic. History and also view his books ( Riyad AL - Qawafi)The third chapter talks about the technical study which is the poetic language, the poem of the technical body, the structure, speech, etc…the researcher finished his study to some suggestion, recommendations and conclusion.
