Residential Function is also concerned with one of the most important and essential human requirements that’s satisfy individual and family instincts, desires and privacies. Even if the city is devoid of some functions, we cannot imagine how a city without residence. Due to the increase of civilization around the world, the importance of residence was increases; Therefore the Residential Function occupies the widest area in all the cities of the world in comparison to what other functions occupy. The importance of the residential function appears from the ratio that occupies compared to the built area and the total space of the cite , But it may increase in the Developing Countries more than the Developed Ones, Because of lot of Specialists were interested in fields and cities’ variant scopes and the problems they suffer from ,They have been interested in the studies concerned with those problems and the attempt to find the properiate solutions. The Urban Studies is considered as one of the most geographical studies that dealt with Residential , due to its relationship with the population and the importance it has on the overall Functional activities in a cities as the industrial, commercial and service - ones. The thesis aims to study the residential function of the urban centers in Al - Mdeyna District by following up the morphological stages those centers passed through, specifying the residential problem and the required methods to handle it. The study aims as well to reveal the residential structure of the urban centers in Al - Mdeyna and the contributed factors in forming the dwelling Fact whence the number of houses, their occupation degree and the constructional status of those houses, as well as to identify the reasons that make such cities unstable residentially, social and construction ally so as to state dwelling regions in it. Since there is no specialized urban studies handled the residential function in the urban centers of Al - Mdeyna district, this study adopt the obtained information from the field study represented by questionnaire, personal interviews and the visits to the related State offices.The nature of this study have required it to contain five chapters : Chapter One, deals with the morphology of the urban centers in Al - Mdeyna and give a historical background about the three centers , Chapter two handles the prototyped design that was drawn for the three cities and evaluating it. Chapter Three deals with the dwelling and city structures adopting a group of variables and criteria to highlight the dwelling districts reality and its locative contrast among the city parts; which, by the residential regions were revealed in the urban centers as studied in Chapter Four. Chapter Five concluded the study by addressing the residence problem in the city and the environmental issues the residential area suffer from, Reveal the reasons of the problem aggravation and the proposed solutions to handle that problem. Several conclusions and Recommendations concluded The Study.

Abstract: Maritime transportation is considered as one of the most important pillars of economy to any state in the world. It is an everlasting resource to that economy that support the treasury of the state. In addition, it is important to both international and internal trade. Ports are the contact points with other foreign states. They are transporters to different kinds of goods and products around the world. Besides, they help in mixing social and cultural relations among costal states and cities.Maritime transportation has pushed all states especially the developed ones to forward different types of investments in this sector due to the huge revenue. It is a useful resource if there is an appropriate economic, social and political climate. Some states rely about 70% on this sector as contribution to their income budgets.Maritime transportation in Iraq is not an exception, on the contrary, it contributes a great deal to the national budget. It contributes to the economic wheel of progress in the country. It is the vital vein to the different stuff of the whole trade. After 2003, there was a recognizable exposure to the world which resulted in overflow of various goods making use of the political change. About 85% of the different goods are imported through maritime transportation. it represent a lung to the country without which there would be a great deficiency.The study falls into five chapters, introduction, abstract, conclusion, and recommendations. Chapter One has two sections. Section one surveys the history of maritime transportation in Iraq. In section two we study the elements of the transportation(ship, road, port). Chapter Two deals with the natural and human resources that may affect the transportation. Chapter Three is devoted to the criteria of performance evaluation of maritime transportation in Iraq by applying these criteria on the elements of transportation. Chapter Four deals with the effect of transportation on the economic development. Chapter Five shows the present situation as well as the future expectation of maritime transportation in Iraq by forwarding future expectation from 5 to 10 years to arrive at changes and development that the transportation could witness

Abstract: تبين من خلال الدراسة ان صناعة مياه الشرب احد اهم الصناعات التحويلية وذلك لكونها تخضع لكل متطلبات الصناعة التحويلية حيث تبرز فيها كافة مقومات الانتاج الصناعي من اختيار الموقع الى احتساب الكلفة وتوافر المواد الاولية والايدي العاملة والعمليات الصناعية في مصا | The study shows that water drink production is one of the most important transformational industries since it yields all the requirements of the transformational industry that all constituents of the industrial production emerge beginning from the choosing of the site , the calculation of the cost , the availability of the raw material and workmen and industrial process that take place in the independent factories up to the emergence of the extrinsic or incidental productions and so on. Therefore this study which consiss of five chapters concerns this kind of industry. Chapter One tackles the following : on the introduction to the definition of water and water cycle in nature , the sources of water and water drink qualities and characteristics , the importance of water for humans , the pollution of water drink , and the seasonal and locational discrepancy of the pollution on water drink in the Governorat of Basrah and the impact of this pollution of the public health. Chapter Two is divided into two sections : section one deas with the historical development of the technicality water drink in the Governorat of Basrah while section two deals with the historical development of water drink desalination in the Governorat Chapter Three : Discusses that factors that establish the water drink industry in the Governorat and the imporatance of each factor and its impact. Chapter Four : Demonstrates the geographical distribution of the water drink industry in the Governorat of Basrah. It includes two sections , the first one deals with the geographical distribution of water drink in a province while the second section tackles the geographical distribution of water drink in asector. Chapter Five consist of two sections : The first one surveys the problems concerning the water drink industry in the Governorat while the secand tackles the future prospective of the water drink industry in the Governorat of Basrah. The study has arrived at the following results. The production of water in the Governorat of Basrah in simple traditional ways or methods are the accumulation and precipitation , filteration , sterilization by liquid and powder and chlorine while the desalination stations produce water through reverse ozoination. Water is being refined by ozonization and ultraviolet rays. The natural colonization factors especially that of weather , earth and geological structure , the increase and economic factors especially labourers , raw material , marketing , transportation , government policy and personal or individual desire have affected on limiting , the industrial site. Thus , there is a discrepancy between the geographical distribution of water refinery projects and desalination stations in the Governorat of Basrah. So , there are (132 ) projects for refinement , (12 ) of them are in Basrah district , i.e ; (9.09 % ) , (11) projects are in Abu - Al - Khaseeb district , i.e ; (8.33 % ) , (3) projects in Al - Fao district , i.e ; (2.27 % ) , (4 ) projects are in Al - Zubair district , i.e ; (3.03 %) , (39 ) projects are in Shatt - Al - Arab , i.e ; (12.12 %) projects some of them are in Al - Medyna district , i.e ; (29.54 %) , and ( 47 ) projects are in Al - Qurna district I.e ; (35.62 % ). As regards the private ( domestic ) desalination station their their number in the Governorat is (88) some of them are in Al - Basrah district , i.e ; about (20.45 %) , (8) are in Abi - Al - Khaseeb district , i.e ; about (9.09%) , (1) station is in Al - Fao district , i.e ; about (1.15 %) , (41) stations are in Al - Zubair district , I.e ; (46.59 %) , (2) statios are in Shatt - Al - Arab , i.e; about (2.27%) , (8) stations , same of them are in Al - Mudianya district , about (9.09%) , and (10) stations are in Al - Qurna district , i.e ; about (11.30). Regarding those of the government , their number in the government is (50) desalination stations , (7) of them are in Al - Basrah district , i.e ; about (14%) (2) stations are in Abi - Al - Khaseeb district i.e; about (4%) , (9) stations are in Al - Fao district , i.e ; about (18%) , (6) stations in Al - Zubair district i.e; about (12%) , (8) stations are in Shatt Al - Arab district , i.e; about (16%) , (11) stations are in Al - Mudianyia district , i.e ; about (22%) , and (7) stations are in Al - Qurna district , i.e; about (14%). The number of employees in the refinement projects is ( 1263 ) and the number of those in the desalination stations is ( 406 ). The area of the projects of the water drink refinement is ( 242466) millions square meter in the Governorat of Basrah while the area of desalination stations in the Governorat is (65353) thousands square meters. The production of water refinement projects is ( 735619.625 ) cubic meter /hour. The Basrah district takes over the first rank for the production whil is ( 313433.75 ) cubic meter/ hour ,i.e; (42.65%) of the sum total production in the Governorat of Basrah. Al - Qurna district takes over the second rank for the production whial is (118780.25 ) cubic meter/hour , i.e ; about (16.14%) of the sum total production of the Basrah Governorat while Al - Mudianya district takes over the third rank for the production whial is (96674.375 ) cubic meter , i.e ; (13.14 %) of the sum total production of the Basrah Governorat. Abu - Al - Khaseeb district takes over the fourth rank for the production whial is ( 64875) cube meter/hour , i.e ; ( 8.83%) of the sum total of the production in the Governorat of Basrah while Al - Zubair district takes over the fifth rank for the production whial is (61437.5 ) cube meter / hour , i.e ; (8.35 %) of the sum total production of the Basrah Governorat. Shatt Al - Arab district takes over the sixth rank for the production whial is ( 54768.75 ) cube meter / hour. i.e; ( 7.44%) of the sum total production of the Basrah Governorat. While Al - Fao district takes over the seventh rank for the production whial is (25650) cube meter , i.e; ( 3.49 %) of the sum total The production of the desalination stations is ( 27585) tons/day. Al - Mudianya district takes over the first rank for the production is (8900) tons / day , i.e ; ( 32.25 %) of the sum total production of the Basrah Governorat. Al - Zubair district takes over the second rank for the production whial is (7349) tons / day , i.e ;(26.64 %) of the sum total of the production while Al - Basrah district takes over the third rank for the production whial is ( 4492 ) tons / day , i.e ; ( 16.28 %)of the sum total of the production. Al - Qurna district takes over the fourth rank for the production (4440 ) tons / day , i.e ; (16.09 %) of the sum total of the production while Abi - Al - Khaseeb district takes over the fifth rank for the production whial is ( 1684) tons / day , i.e ; (6.14 %) of the sum total of the production. Al - Fao district takes over the sixth rank for the production whial is (420 ) tons / day , i.e ; ( 1.52 %) of the sum total of the production while Al - Fao district takes over the seventh rank for the production whial is (300) tons/day , i.e ; ( 1.08 %) of the sum total of the production in the Governorat of Basrah. It appears that there have been a number of problems some of which concern the transportation degree (network ) and others concern the quality of water , the invested money , and the employees ( labourers ) , and some others concern the nature of production , the decrease of water levels , the increase of salt.The most important of these problems is the increase of salts for in (2012 ) it reaches the highest in Tigris , i.e ; (1239) milimose /cm on August. And it reaches in the Euphrates (2426 ) milimose / cm during March while salt reaches in Shatt Al - Arab ( the center ) to ( 3561 ) Milimose / cm on October ; it reaches in Shatt Al - Arab ( sehaan ) to (7246 ) milisome / cm during August while it reaches in Shatt Al - Arab ( Al - Lebani ) to ( 4253 ) mi;isome / cm during August. The problem of the decrease of the water level is an effective factor on the process of water drink production that the river water decrease inside the Governorat due to multiplicity of banks and tanks established by the neighbouring countries. This leads to the decrease of water in the Iraqi rivers in a general and in the Governorat in particular. This causes the water to be salty and impure. This decrease also affects on the level of plunger or diver for many water pulling pipes of many refinement projects and consequently the refinement and pumping processes stop at these projects. Moreover , it appears that the problems of networks are considered as a main problem in the pollution of water drink in the Governorat of Basrah being old in age and undergoes constant breakdowns whial lead water greatly to be impure and polluted. Due to these results the individuals share of water in the Governorat of Basrah reaches (275 ) litre / day. These differed among districts that in Basrah district it reaches (239) litre / day , in Abi - Al - Khaseeb it reaches (317 ) litre/ day , in Al - Fao district it reaches (662) litre / day in Al - Zubair district it reaches (130 ) litre / day , in Shatt Al - Arab reaches (341) litre / day , in Al - Qurna district it reaches ( 445 ) litre / day , and in Al - Mudianya district it reaches ( 438 ) litre / day of the collected produced water in the Governorat

Abstract: The present study aim to explain the role of water resources on the production of agricultural soils. This was done through examining the effect of groundwater on the chemiccal properties of agricultural the soils and the role of rainfall the chemeical properties of soils in the center of Salman district, during the period of year 2013 to 2014.. Salman district is loacated in Muthanna province, west of Iraq. It forms about 43.2% of the total area of the province. The geological formations in the study area are different from the third and fourth gelogical ages, with a dmoninating rocks of dolomite, lime, marl and sand rocks. There are many differences in the surface of the study area, where the topographic elevation ranges between 400 m above sea level in the south to 50 m in the north and east north. There are four soil groups recognized in the study area : desert soil, lime rocks, dune and Alluvial soils.These soils are very poor from organic materials and new formed.. The groundwater of the study area is contained from several aquifers especially Dammam and Um - Radhuma formations. Its storage is about 5.341 - 23.918 billion m3, and depended on the infiltration from rainfall on the area and its sourounding lands. The quality of groundwater included testing parameters of total dissolved solid (TDS), electric conductivity (EC) and major dominates the cations and Sulphat (SO4 - ) domnates the anions. The cultivated area of the Salman district about 21103 heactares during the years 2013 to 2014, with domining cereal crops, of 91.92% from the total cultivated area. The groundwater is the main source of irregation, and the amount of water demand for the total area is about 247.093 billion m3 per year. The groundwater contribute for increasing the (TDS) in the soils from 1140 mg/l in the plants soil, while the surface water of rainfall reduces the (TDS) in the soils to 1658 mg/l.

This study depends upon the historical curricula in appointing the stages of Urban development of the city and the trends of Urban sprawler on the comparative analytical curricula in studying natural specifications and human variables also it accredited the functional curricular in analyzing land usage in regards to its Urban aspects and its functional proficiency by accrediting some plan standards. This study is divided into four chapters proceeded by introduction and followed by conclusion and abstract in English language including tables , maps , figures , whereas the structure and its implication is as follows. First chapter argue the application in studying Urban development of 9 the city , while the second chapter argue the natural features and human variables : Geographical location , its topography soil , water resources and climate. In addition ,the population growth and the geographical distribution. In the third chapter it is argued the land usage in the Shatt Al Arab district included : Residential commercial ,industrial and service usages with the possibility with comparing it with the local standards to identify its functional performance. Fourth chapter discussed the factor of Urban sprawler and then its limitation given entire overview the blank fact of the district represented by basic plans from 1962 till 2004 showing the effect of reduction the agricultural lands as a result of Urban sprawler with identifying the future trends of Urban expansion of the districts. This study concluded group of findings the most important one of which are as follows : 1. The district is expanded during the Urban development stage as it is registered are totaled 14.5 ha since the first construction of the city from 1600 to 1913 , as the district are was increased for the second stage of its Urban expansion to be 45.1 ha ( 1914 to 1957) while third stage had the great rule in expansion the area of the district to be 193.7 ha ( from 1958 - 2002 ) while the last stage upon the economical and social improvement beyond 2003 it is expanded to be 761,3 ha ( from 2003 to 2013)2. As a result of intensive Urban sprawler the area of agricultural farms is decreased as a result of growing population increment from 6285 in 1947 to be 50750 in 2009 agricultural lands is reduced during the term ( 1962 to 1979 ) 556.2 ha to be 346.2 ha during the planning period ( 1980 to 1993) and to be 55.8 for the planning period ( from 1994 to 2004 ) until the during of study.3. The study discovered that 1960 's and 1990 's and 2013 are of the most important points of Urban sprawler on the agricultural lands in Shatt Al Arab district. That’s represented by agricultural lands are done including the location of Basra University , resolution number 18 of 1970 , resolution number 117 of 2000 providing the relevant base of overlapping on agricultural lands in the district and upon the sabotage beyond 2003 it I contributed in merging random construction on the agricultural lands illegally reducing the greenish yard of the district.4. The study shows that there are basis plans of the district proceeded by an attempt to describe the real situation of the district by drawing cad straw maps but all design were prepared for the district are overlapped on by people or the concerned destination to comprehend the population increasing growth or migration movement to the district which is interpreted the failure of the basic plans upon a time of its execution

Abstract: Muthana Governorate has got so many agricultural potentials that it can be an area of crops that match with the geographical features on the one hand and respond to an integral part of the local market needs with reference to foods and ingredients on the other. This study aims at shedding some light on the geographical potentials the governorate, in question, has with reference to crops; identifying the features of each crop, and showing the value of the crops as far as Iraq is concerned. This study is also heading to trace the changes the crops undergo across the special shifts or trends.To fulfill the aims mentioned above, the research worker divides her study into four chapters as well as an introduction and a conclusion. Chapter One is on the characteristics of the crops grown in the Governorate of Muthana. Chapter Two deals with the natural and human resources of the crops. Chapter Three focuses on the geographical crops and Chapter Four sheds the light on productive potentials of each crop.The production of the crops of the years 2003 - 4 through 2010 - 11 was of relative stability. For example, the groups of crops were 5 - 6 in number. These groups included (29) grains that covered the greatest part of the cultivated fields ( 86.89 %) whereas fruits and dates ranked the second ( 6.62 %). The rest of rates were represented by three groups ( 3.69% , 2.5 , and 0.31 ). The winter crops were almost dominating ( 90/31 % - 82.7 % ) with reference to the cultivated areas. The crops that people fed on directly were given a high percentage ( 58.6 %). The forage is given the complementing percentage (51.62 %). The season in question was lacking the crops that could be used as raw material in certain national industries.The crops have witnessed several changes or shifts during the last decades due to the changing circumstances the governorate went through. The shifts in production were of various spatial indexes. These crops could fall into two varieties the first of which included ( 9 )crops that proved to be of a positive index of values between ( 19.970 - 399.266% ) whereas he second variety included ( 3 )crops but of a negative index of values between ( - 1302.297 - 33.257 ).

The study contains four chapter the first chapter the relationship of heats island with climates elements that affects on the elements.The second chapter included affected factors on the city temperatures It resulted from factors converging natural and human factors the most important factors are the natural bodies of water that divides the city into two parts, in addition to the impact of climate characteristics in the city, but the most important human population density and height of buildings and paved streets and green spaces in the city and traffic density, all these factors have significant impact degrees the temperature and relative humidity and wind speed. The third chapter included the thermal characteristics of the is ands This has resulted through afield study in addition to thermal Island Islands secondary Islands it was the highest thermal difference between the city center and the adjacent countryside through observations as it amounted to (5,9) in the (Al - Taha) the direction of the axis of orchards Eastern neighborhood, The highest difference between the center and the weather station in the city as it was (3,3m), The fourth chapter comfort Albaeumanak hih and guarantees the heat island in the city of Samwah And through the use of the presumption of cooling wind and figure to (Oligay), The study rest and in the autumn season (October).and In the spring season (April) while in summer (July) it not record the comfort area in Samawa city as a result of high temperature. There isnt any record in winter season (January) so the comfort area never record because of low temperature. Both need two months to some of the requirements of stirring antenna or moisturizing antenna or solar radiation.

Abstract: تعد الوفيات الضلع الثاني المكمل لمثلث التغير السكاني كما تعد من اهم المؤشرات التي تعكس الاوضاع الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في اي مجتمع كان ومدى صحة ووعي سكانه ورفاهيتهم وهو ما يكسب الدراسة اهميتها. ان الهدف من الدراسة هو بحث ظاهرة الوفيات في محافظة البصرة للم | Mortality is just one side of the triangle of demographic variation. Moreover it is considered as one of the main effects that reflect the social and economic situations in any society in addition to the hygiene awareness and prosperity of the population. This is actually a good reason why this study is significant. The study aims at investigating the phenomenon of mortalities in the Province of Basrah from 1997 to 2009. Spatial - temporal variation is also covered in relation to districts and remote areas. The study relies on some measures of mortality to reveal this variation in relation to quality and age of the deceased people and the reasons behind death in relation to environment. The researcher made use of the bio - statistics records obtained from mortality registration department - Basrah health directorate. In addition, the researcher conducted field work to cover any shortage in the data. The study arrives at the conclusion that the number mortality cases is 104312 during the period of the study with a crude mortality average of 3.9 per 1000 with no regular temporal direction. The number of mortalities varies according to months of the year and seasons. The highest rate is in August and December whereas summer witnessed the highest rate of mortality. The mortality of males overwhelmed those of females with a rate of 57.7% for males and 42.3% for females. Age category of 65 and more registered the highest level of mortality with 33.3% followed by infants with 20% of the total mortality rate. There are 90138 mortality cases due to illness which represents 86.4% of the total number of mortalities. Circularity system diseases and blood diseases in addition to other diseases represent reason number one behind mortality with 31.1% followed by perinatal diseases that represent 18.1% of the total number. Accidents represent 13.6% whereas gun shots accidents represent 58.8% of the total number of accidents. The geographic distribution shows that Az - Zubair, Abu Al - Khaseeb and Shatt Al - Arab registered the highest rate of mortality. Climate - as represented by temperature degrees - is found to be as a main factor of mortality in the area of the study in comparison with other natural factors. Still, there are other factors that play a vital role in mortality like the level of education, vocation, income, marital status, residence, accommodation and health services presented.

Abstract: Marine transportation is considered as a crucial economic front and it has a vital role in the economic development. It contributes to the transportation of goods and merchandise due to its unique properties that distinguishes from other means of transportation. Two thirds of the external trade is done through marine transportation. Iraq has a 65 klm coast that overlooks the Arabian gulf. This coast is the only port through which Iraq is connected to the world and through which, external trade is conducted. It has a pioneer role in external trade with the markets of the world. Consequently, some ports have been constructed along this coast. They are part of the transportation system. These ports include north Um Qasr , south Um qasr, Khor Al - Zubair, Abu Floos and Al - Ma’aqal. The present thesis aims at investigating the strategic importance of Iraqi trade ports anf the role they play in the external trade. This represents one of the pillars of Iraq economy and the development of these ports represents the development of the country. The study is comprised of five chapters. Chapter One deals with the historic development of Iraqi marine transportation. It consists of three sections. Section one deals with the development of parts. Section two tackles the classification of ports while section three shows the development of Iraqi transportation fleet. Chapter Two covers the human and natural barriers of marine transportation. Chapter Three outlines the orientation of marine transportation from 1997 to 2010. Chapter Four deals with the waiting columns (convoys) theory and its application in the ports of Iraq. Chapter Five shows the problems and barriers that Iraqi ports suffer from and the future expectations to Iraqi ports. The study ends with some conclusions and recommendations

Abstract: The manufacturing of the most important economic activities that lead to building an economic base sophisticated and technically advanced, scientifically and technology, and then Thaoh greater opportunities for economic progress of any country. This study examined the reality of the manufacturing industries in Muthanna province, which is located in the southwestern part of Iraq and for the period from 1980 to 2009. Gained this study significance through several things most important is the lack of a similar study at the county level, and also in order to draw a clear vision for the future of these industries, and through working knowledge of relative importance, and to study its components geographical, and stand on their geographical distribution by identifying the structure, and relational knowledge of the relationship between them and the basic Mrtkzadtha, and then detect the size of the ingredients of the investor in order to detect the surplus, in order to develop plans and investment policies studied. This study relied on government data, in addition to relying on information from some books and university studies, as well as the data and information collected by the field study. The study found several results, including the province of Muthanna located at the site of a good geographical mediates between the southern provinces and the central provinces, and also contain elements of natural geographic and human and that played a big role in the endemicity of these industries, and through its geological and diverse water resources permanent normal runoff and extensive ground spaces, also contain population numbers is one of the important sources of manpower, and the province has a network composed of transfer of the railway network and major and minor ways. And diversified industrial structure of manufacturing through the diversity of sizes institutions between large, medium and small, and return most of the ownership of these institutions to the private sector, except for some institutions that belong to the public sector, either the geographical distribution of these industries has shown us that most manufacturing industries are concentrated in the centers of the province and especially center Elimination of Samawah, which contained the highest ratios. Turning to the issue of problems faced by these industries has show us that it suffers from several problems affected directly and indirectly in their work, which led to the impact on their production due to the loss of most of its energies design, and the most serious problems generated by these industries is the problem of environmental pollution and Assorted three air, water and ground. Abstract: يهدف هذا البحث التعرف على ( فاعلية استراتيجيتي التساؤل الذاتي والتفكير المزدوج في تحصيل مادة التاريخ الاوربي والقدرة على حل المشكلات لدى طلبة قسم التاريخ في كلية التربية) وللتحقق من هدف البحث وضع الباحث الفرضتين الصفريتين الاتيتين : 1 - لا توجد فروق ذات دل | The present study aims at finding out (the effectiveness of self questioning and think pair - share strategies on history students' achievement of European History subject and the problem solving ability in College of Education ).To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher has posed the following null hypotheses : 1. There are no statistically significant difference at level ( 0.05) between the mean scores of the first experimental group, which is taught according to the self questioning; the second experimental group, which is taught according to think pair - share strategy and those of the control group, which is taught conventionally in European History subject achievement.2. There are no statistically significant difference at level ( 0.05) between the mean scores of the first experimental group, which is taught according to the self questioning; the second experimental group, which is taught according to think pair - share strategy and those of the control group, which is taught conventionally in testing problem solving ability. The two Experimental Groups and Control Group Posttest Partial Design has been used. The sample of the study has been intentionally chosen and it consists of 122 male and female third year students at the Department of History/College of Education./University of Al - Qadisiya. Participants have been distributed into three groups. The first experimental group includes 41male and female students, which is taught according to the self questioning. the second experimental group include 40 male and female students, which is taught according to think pair - share strategy, whereas the control group consist of 40 male and female students, which is taught according to the conventional method. Equalization has been made by the researcher himself among the three groups with respect to the variables (age, intelligence, previous achievement, problem solving test).After that, the researcher determined the instruments of the study which are : the scientific material, forming the behavioural aims in the light of Bloom’s six levels. Preparing daily lesson plans,20 plans for each group. Furthermore, two instruments have been constructed : the first is an achievement test includes a multiple - choice test which consists of 40 items, and a subjective test which consists of 10 items. Such test has been ensured with regard to its (face and content validity), item discrimination, item difficulty and its reliability. The second instrument is the problem solving test which consists of 30 items distributed according to six abilities (sensation of problem, determination of problem, getting data from its better sources, proposing hypotheses, hypotheses validity test ,decision - making).The test has also been ensured concerning its (face and construct validity), item discrimination and reliability. The researcher himself taught the three groups. The experiment started at the beginning of the first term of 2015 - 2016 and lasted for 14 weeks, two lectures a week for each group. At the end of the experiment, the three groups were submitted to achievement test that has been applied on Wednesday, 13th of Jan.2016 Then, the problem solving test has been applied on Thursday, 14th of Jan. 2016.Data have been analyzed by using SPSS. The results show the following : 1. The performance of the first experimental group is better than that of the control group in the achievement test of the European History subject.2. The performance of second experimental group is better than that of the control group in the achievement test of the European History subject.3. The performance of second experimental group is better than that of the first experimental group in the achievement test of the European History subject.4. The performance of first experimental group is better than that of the control group in the problem solving test. 5. The performance of second experimental group is better than that of the control group in the problem solving test.6. The performance of second experimental group is better than that of the first experimental group in the problem solving test. In the light of the results obtained, the researcher has come up with the following conclusions : the self questioning and think pair - share strategies on third - year history students' Achievement of European History in College of Education is effective, the self questioning and think pair - share strategies on the problem solving ability is effective as well. In the light of the findings of the present study, are made to enrich the process of teaching writing : it is necessary to encourage instructors to adopt the self questioning and think pair - share strategies in teaching Modern European History subject, it is necessary to train university instructors on using modern methods in teaching, especially those methods that have been proved to be effective in instructional process; syllabus designers are recommended to be acquainted with theses and dissertations and apply their contents on curriculum for the sake of getting generations that are able to create ,invent and discover, and solve problems that society encounters and find suitable solutions for them. Building on the present study, further studies are suggested to be conducted : a similar study can be conducted on other stages (primary, intermediate, preparatory), a study can be carried out to investigate the impact self - questioning and think pair - share strategies on other variables such as (motivation, tendency, attitude, critical thinking, historical thinking, and creative thinking).

The researcher depended on the descriptive approach in terms of actions for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the study. Society may be the current study of The academic teachers of colleges of education for the Humanities and Pure sciences at Basra University, and The academic teachers of Humanities and Sciences Pure at the University of Dhi Qar, and the College of Education at the University of Misan, totaling (700) teachers, and the research sample core composed of (442) teachers distribued among colleges of education at the University of Basra and Dhi Qar.And formed search tool built by the same researcher (139) indicator - a paragraph - distributed among the six elements (fields) Approach : (objectives, educational content, methods and manners of teaching, teaching aids, educational activities, educational calendar).The study tool was applied after extracted from it all virtual honesty and sincerity of construction, stability in a way re - testing, which amounted to (0.86) and the method of variation analysis Cronbach Alpha, which amounted to (0.88).Hare used the following to extract Results : packets Statistical for Social Sciences (SPSS), circles calculations, standard deviations, percentages, the weighted average, the Pearson correlation coefficient , chi square , the equation of one - way analysis of variance, and the equation of Alpha Cronbach and test Altaia for one sample and two equal independent samples and tow equal independent samples.The study concluded in the light of its goals the following results : 1. The general rule for members of a sample study on the availability of comprehensive quality standards in the curriculum of the colleges of education and all its components were negative judgment.2. The general provision for members of the study sample was positive about the availability of comprehensive quality standards on a racist (teaching - methods and teaching aids) as independent elements, though coexist in a limited way, and negatively towards elements (educational goals - educatioal Content Altahlmy - educational activities - educational calendar).3. There are no differences of statistical significance at the level (0.05) between the average score of curiosity of students who study according to the (negotiation strategy) and the average score of curiosity of students who study according to (cognitive apprenticeship strategy) in the scale prepared for this purpose. The researcher followed the experimental approach and selected an experimental design with a partial control (two experimental groups and on control group), with the posttest and the curiosity scale. The researcher also chose the research sample randomly from (Al - Rafidain school), which is one of the official day schools in Babil province, to become the field to execute the current research experiment. The final research sample involved (94) students after eliminating the failed students for the academic year 2015 - 2016, at (32) for the first experimental group which studied according to the cognitive apprenticeship strategy and the second experimental group which studied according to the negotiation strategy, while the third control group which studied according to the regular method involved (30) students. The researcher equalized among his three groups with the variables (the previous outcome, IQ test, the previous knowledge, age calculated by months, parents qualifications, curiosity) and there were no differences of statistical significance among the groups after identifying the scientific subject of included in the experiment period and represented in the (content of the subject of Islamic Arabic history for the second intermediate grade for the academic year 2015 - 2016). Afterwards, the behavioral purposes were identified and formulated in accordance with the three levels of Bloom classification in the cognitive aspect (Knowledge - Understanding - Application) and were presented later to the experts and referees; the final number was (223) behavioral purposes. The researcher also prepared teaching plans for the topics included in the experiment, submitted some of them to the experts and referees and edited them according to their remarks.The researcher studied the three research groups and at the end of experiment which lasted one academic year, he prepared an achievement test containing (40) items and presented it to the experts to give their opinions and show its alleged validity. This test was applied over an exploratory sample composed of (150) from Al - Nujoom high school and applied over the basic sample after dealing with its data statistically, extracting the coefficient of items difficulty, its ability to differentiate and the affectivity of its alternatives and extracting its reliability coefficient. The researcher also prepared a curiosity scale depending on literature and consisted of (30) items divided over (6) domains. This scale was submitted to a group of experts, applied over an exploratory sample of (150) students and eventually applied over the basic research sample after dealing with its data statistically, and verifying its construction reliability, items connection and their relation with each domain, the overall score of the scale, scale reliability and the strength of differentiating the items. After processing the data statistically by using the proper statistical means such as (one - way analysis of variance, Scheffe'e test to know the direction of differences among the research groups), the results showed that students of both of the groups which studied according to the (negotiation strategy) and (cognitive apprenticeship strategy) have surpassed the students group which studied according to the regular method in terms of the variables of curiosity and the outcome of Islamic Arabic history subject for the second intermediate stage.In the light of the results reached by the researcher, it appeared that using negotiation and cognitive apprenticeship strategies in teaching history subject to the second intermediate students have contributed in increasing their outcome and their curiosity.The researcher have recommended several recommendation (the necessity of training the teachers of social studies on using the negotiation and cognitive apprenticeship strategies, encourage them to use constructive theory strategy and pay attention to the inner motives of the students such as curiosity). The researcher also recommended conducting other researches similar to the current one on different academic stages and other subjects to verify the validity of the negotiation and cognitive apprenticeship strategies and other variables besides the outcome and curiosity.

Abstract: هدفت الدراسة الى معرفة فاعلية استراتيجية التعلم المزيج في تدريس مادة المناهج وطرائق التدريس على التحصيل الدراسي وتنمية مهارات مواراء المعرفة لدى طلبة المرحلة الثالثة في كلية التربية) وللتحقق من هدف البحث وضع الباحث الفرضتين الصفريتين الاتيتين : الفرضية الاولى : - لايوجد فرق دال احصائيا عند مستوى (0,05) بين متوسط درجات طلبة المجموعة التجريبية الذين يدرسون على وفق استراتيجية التعلم المزيج ومتوسط درجات طلبة المجموعة الضابطة الذين يدرسون على وفق الطريقة الاعتيادية ( التقليدية) في اختبار التحصيل الدراسي.الفرضية الثانية : - لايوجد فرق دال احصائيا عند مستوى (0,05) بين متوسط درجات طلبة المجموعة التجريبية الذين يدرسون على وفق استراتيجية التعلم المزيج , ومتوسط درجات طلبة المجموعة الضابطة الذين يدرسون على وفق الطريقة الاعتيادية ( التقليدية) في مقياس مهارات مواراء المعرفة.الفرضية الثالثة : - لايوجد فرق دال احصائيا عند مستوى (0,05) بين متوسطي درجات طلبة المجموعة التجريبية الذين يدرسون في استراتيجية التعلم المزيج في التطبيق القبلي والبعدي لمقياس مهارات مواراء المعرفة.اختير التصميم التجريبي ذا الضبط الجزئي لمجموعتين احدهما تجريبية والاخرى ضابطة ذات الاختبار البعدي للتحصيل ، ومقياس مهارات مواراء المعرفة, وكان مجتمع البحث هو طلبة الصف الثالث في قسم علوم القران / كلية التربية المختلطة ، جامعة الكوفة وكلية التربية جامعة القادسية البالغ عددهم عددهم ( 400 ) طالبا وطالبة ، فاختار الباحث بالطريقة القصدية طلبة الصف الثالث /علوم القران /في كلية التربية المختلطة /جامعة الكوفة عينة لمجتمعه وقد اختيرت بصورة عشوائية الشعبتين ( ا - ب ) ، وتكونت العينة من (82) طالبا وطالبة , بلغ عدد طلبة المجموعة التجريبية (42) طالبواطالبة درست على وفق استراتيجية التعلم المزيج والمجموعة الضابطة بلغ عددهم (40) طالبواطالبة درست بالطريقة الاعتيادية.كافا الباحث بين طلبة مجموعتي البحث في بعض المتغيرات التي قد تؤثر في نتائج البحث ، وهذه المتغيرات هي (العمر الزمني للطلبة محسوبا بالشهور ، الذكاء , درجات التحصيل الدراسي السابق للمواد التربوية , ودرجات مقياس مهارات مواراء المعرفة للضبط القبلي ) , وبعد ان حدد الباحث مستلزمات البحث وهي : تحديد المادة العلمية ، صياغة الاهداف السلوكية على ضوء مستويات الست لتصنيف بلوم المعرفية حيث بلغ عددها (278) هدفا ، واعداد الخطط الدراسية .اما ما يتعلق بادوات البحث الحالي : فقد استخدم الباحث اختبارا تحصيليا اذ بناه الباحث بنفسه تالف من (40) فقرة من الاسئلة الموضوعية من نوع الاختبار من متعدد و(10) فقرات من الاسئلة المقالية , وتم التحقق من صدقه (الظاهري والمحتوى), وقوته التميزية, ومعامل صعوبته, وفعالية البدائل الخاطئة وثباته , اما الاداة الثانية كانت مقياس مهارات مواراء المعرفة اذ اعده الباحث ايضا , والذي تالف من (45) فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة مجالات ( التخطيط ، المراقبة والتحكم ، والتقييم ) وتم التحقق من صدقه (الظاهري, والبنائي) وقوته التميزية وثباته.درس الباحث مجموعتي البحث بنفسه , واستمرت التجربة طوال العام الدراسي 2015/2016م بواقع محاضرتين اسبوعيا لكل مجموعة ،طبق الباحث مقياس مهارات مواراء المعرفة البعدي على عينة التطبيق النهائي للمجموعتين يوم الاربعاء الموافق 4 /5/2016م , وطبق الاختبار التحصيلي على عينة التطبيق النهائي للمجموعتين يوم الاربعاء الموافق 11/5/2016 م وبعدها تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام الوسائل الاحصائية المناسبة وبالاستعانة بالحقيبة الاحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS 10 ) , اوضحت النتائج ما يلي : 1 - تفوق طلبة المجموعة التجريبية التي درست باستراتيجية التعلم المزيج على طلبة المجموعة الضابطة في الاختبار التحصيلي لمادة المناهج وطرائق التدريس .2 - تفوق طلبة المجموعة التجريبية التي درست باستراتيجية التعلم المزيج على طلبة المجموعة الضابطة في مقياس مهارات مواراء المعرفة . وفي ضوء ذلك خرج الباحث بمجموعة من الاستنتاجات ابرزها : 1 - ان التعلم المزيج يغلق الفجوة بين البيداغوجيواالتكنلوجيا فهو رافد للتعليم التقليدي الذي يعتمد على الطرائق التقليدية .2 - ان التعلم المزيج يعمل على تعديل سلوك الطلبة واتجاهات تفكيرهم وابنيتهم المعرفية . كما قدم الباحث عدد من التوصيات ابرزها : 1 - استخدام استراتيجية التعلم المزيج في تدريس مادة المناهج وطرائق التدريس من قبل التدريسين في الجامعات.2 - اقامة دورات تدريبية للتدريسين في الجامعات والمدرسين في وزارة التربية تركز على استخدام اتجاهات حديثة في التدريس ومن ضمنها استراتيجية التعلم المزيج والاستفادة من التكنولوجيا الحديثة في التدريس .قدم الباحث عدد من المقترحات ابرزها : 1 - اجراء مزيد من الدراسات المماثلة للبحث الحالي على مراحل دراسية اخرى( مثل الثانية او الرابعة) وعلى تخصصات اخرى( اللغة العربية , الاجتماعيات , الحاسوب ...)2 - اجراء دراسات تكشف فاعلية استراتيجية التعلم المزيج في متغيرات اخرى مثل ( الدافعية ، والميل ، والاتجاه , التفكير الناقد ، والتفكير الابداعي ). | The present study aims at finding out the impact of using blended learning in teaching the course of Curricula and Teaching Methods on third year / College of Education students' academic achievement and developing their metacognitive skills. To achieve this aim, the following two null hypotheses have been set. The First Hypothesis : - There is no significant difference in the performance of the experimental group and the control group in the achievement test at the level of ( 0.05 ). The Second Hypothesis : - There is no significant difference between the metacognitive skills of the experimental group and those of the control group at the level of ( 0.05 ).( 82 ) students ,who were randomly chosen of ( 163 ) third stage students / Dept. of Quran Sciences / College of Education / University of Kufa, participated in the study. The sample was divided into two groups : 42 students represented the experimental group who taught according to the blended learning strategy , and ( 40 ) students represented the control group who were taught according to the traditional methods. A number of variables, which may affect the study results, have been taken into consideration. These variables include : the students' age, intelligence, their academic achievement in certain educational courses, and the scores they get in the metacognitive skills scale in its pilot form. Moreover, a number of the study requirements have been delimited, namely, the subjects to be taught, identifying the behavioural goals, which were ( 278 ) goals according to Bloom's six levels, and preparing lesson plans. Two research methods have been constructed to be adopted in the present study. There is first the achievement test that contains 40 objective items, viz. multiple - choice items, and 10 writing essay items. The test face and content validity, recognition power, difficulty and error factors have all been checked. The second tool is concerned with identifying the participants' metacognitive skills. The scale consists of 45 items, distributed to three fields : planning, surveying and controlling, and assessment. The scale face and content validity were also checked. The researcher has taught the two study groups himself, and the experiment lasted an academic year 2015 - 2016, two classes a week for each group. At the end of the experiment, the achievement test has been made to the final subjects of the study for the two groups on Tuesday 3rd of May 2016. Measuring the metacognitive skills was conducted on Wednesday 4th of May 2016. Afterwards, the data have been analyzed according to certain statistical means which are suitable for the study, by using the statistical case for social sciences (SPSS 10).The results come to show the following : 1. The experimental group performed better in the academic achievement test of the Curricula and teaching methods course than the control group. 2. The experimental group show better metacognitive skills than the control group. Consequently, the study has come up with the following conclusions : 1. Blended learning strategy bridges the gap between pedagogy and technology.2. Blended learning strategy works on amending the students’ behavior and thinking and reinforcing their knowledge.The study presents a number of recommendations, the most important of which are the following : 1. Using the blended learning strategy in teaching the course of Curricula and Teaching Methods at the university level.2. Training university and school teachers on how to adopt modern methods and techniques in teaching including the blended method strategy to get benefit from the modern technologies in teaching.Finally, some suggestions have been made, the most important of which are : 1 - Conducting further comparable studies, as the present one, to other university stages and specializations. 2 - Studying the impact of the blended learning strategy on other variables, such as motivation, tendency, orientation, critical thinking and creative thinking.

The researcher made a match of the two in matters of (degrees of mid - term exams, age calculated in months, intelligence test, the parent education , Exam verbal vocabulary ). The researcher adopted an acquisition test as an instrument applied at the end of the experiment, and came up to the following : There are no statistical evidences (0.05) the two experimental groups who studied Literature and Texts using Reciprocal KEEPING LITERARY TEXTS And developing verbal vocabulary group in conventional methods.The most important findings of this research are : 1. Abstract: The present research aims at identifying the impact of Appleton Model and Systemic Approach on acquiring grammatical concepts and developing systemic thinking among fourth preparatory scientific class students. In order to verify this aim, the researcher has formulated the following two main null hypotheses : 1. First null hypothesis : There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05), among the average scores of the first experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of the second experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Systemic Approach and the average scores of the control group who are studying grammar by the classical method, in the post - teaching test of acquiring grammatical concepts. 2. Second null hypothesis : There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05), among the average scores of the first experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of the second experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Systemic Approach and the average scores of the control group who are studying grammar by the classical method, in the post - teaching test of systemic thinking. To achieve the aim of the research, the researcher adopted the experimental design of partial - control, (two experimental groups and one control group). The researcher randomly selected three sections of the fourth preparatory class in Alfayhaa Preparatory School in the Directorate of Education of Babil. The sample was composed of (101) students, (34) students represented the first experimental group, (33) students represented the second experimental group and (34) students represented the control group. The researcher has extracted the correlation coefficient among the three groups according to the following variables : (students' age by months, students' mid - year grades in Arabic language, Raven's intelligence test, parents' education, and students' scores in the pre - teaching test of systemic thinking). The researcher taught the three research samples seven topics of the Arabic grammar textbook of the fourth preparatory class in the second semester. These topics are : (imperative verb, attribution of the incomplete verb to the pronouns, di - transitive verbs, functions of the infinitive, Inchoative and predicate, Kana Wa Akhawatuha and Inna Wa Akhawatuha). The experiment lasted for the whole period of the second semester 2015 - 2016. The research prepared two tools; the first of which is (Acquiring grammatical concepts test), it is composed of 21 items. The other tool is (Systemic Thinking test), it is composed of 28 items. The items of two tests were objective ones of the multiple choice of four alternatives. Both face and content validity of the tests were verified. Items difficulty coefficient, Item discrimination, and the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives have been extracted. The stability of the two tests items was obtained by the split - half procedure and the extracted correction of the stability coefficient was obtained by Spearman - Brown formula. The value extracted stability coefficient of the first test was (0.767) and (0.82) for the second test. The researcher used the following statistical tools (Single discrimination coefficient, chi square, Pearson correlation coefficient, items difficulty, ease and discrimination coefficients, Scheffé's method, T - Test for dependent samples. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 16 was used. After processing the data statistically, the researcher concluded the following result : 1. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the first experimental group who studied grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of students of the second experimental group who studied grammar according to systemic approach, and the average scores of students of the control group who studied grammar according to the classical method, in the post - teaching test of acquiring grammatical concepts.2. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the first experimental group who studied grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of students of the control group who studied grammar according to the classical method, in the post - teaching test of acquiring grammatical concepts, for the first experimental group in favor of the control group. 3. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the second experimental group who studied grammar according to Systemic Approach and the average scores of students of the control group who studied grammar according to the classical method, in the post - teaching test of acquiring grammatical concepts, for the second experimental group in favor of the control group. 4. There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05), among the average scores of the first experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of the second experimental group students who are studying grammar according to Systemic Approach in the post - teaching test of acquiring grammatical concepts.5. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the first experimental group who studied grammar according to Appleton Model and the average scores of students of the second experimental group who studied grammar according to systemic approach, and the average scores of students of the control group who studied grammar according to the classical method, in the post - teaching test of systemic thinking for the second experimental group in favor of the other two groups.6. There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05), among the average scores of the control group who studied grammar according to the classical method in both pre - teaching and post - teaching tests of systemic thinking. 7. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the first experimental group who studied grammar according to Appleton Model in both pre - teaching and post - teaching tests of systemic thinking for the post - teaching test. 8. There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of students of the second experimental group who studied grammar according to systemic approach in both pre - teaching and post - teaching tests of systemic thinking for the post - teaching test. In the light of these results, the researcher has come up with a number of conclusions : 1. Adopting Appleton Model and Systemic Approach in teaching has contributed in increasing the students' interaction with the scientific material which resulted in increasing their acquisition of the grammatical concepts in comparison with the classical method. 2. Teaching according to Appleton Model and Systemic Approach positively impacted the students taking over the responsibility of their learning which resulted in increasing their acquisition of the grammatical concepts and systemic thinking. 3. The procedures of teaching according to Appleton Model and Systemic Approach are in full agreement with what is emphasized in modern education by making the student the axel of the learning - teaching process.4. Appleton Model and Systemic Approach are applicable in teaching Arabic language grammar in secondary and preparatory for they are convenient to the students' level and available school facilities. The researcher recommended the following : 1. Adopting Appleton Model and Systemic Approach in teaching Arabic language grammar in the fourth preparatory scientific class.2. Organizing workshops and symposiums for Arabic language teachers to increase their awareness of the new theories of teaching to enable them employ some of the strategies and teaching techniques of these theories to achieve the educational objectives of teaching Arabic language.3. The researcher followed the descriptive approach in the current study, and then chose the method of content analysis, because it is appropriate to achieve the objective of the study. The study population consisted of the history book for the sixth preparatory class/literary branch in Iraq and its counterparts in some Arab countries, and the students of the sixth preparatory class/literary branch in Iraq. The study sample included the whole content of the four history books which has (745) pages and ( 542) students.The researcher prepared a list of the concepts of democracy and human rights and presented it to the experts to evaluate its validity. As for the stability of the tool of analysis, it was extracted in two ways; the first was the re - analysis by the researcher himself over a period of time, and the second way was by two external analysts hired by the researcher. Co - efficiency was very high which met the purpose of the study. The statistical tools used in the study included repetitions, percentages, and Holsti Formula. The researcher also built a test to see how much the Iraqi students acquire the common concepts in the four books. The reliability of this test was measured by the Split - Half Method which was (0.872) after being corrected by Gittman formula. In its final form, the test consisted of(48) MCQ items whose face and content validity and internal consistency and discriminatory power and the efficiency of the wrong alternatives were measured by the Split - Half Method which was (0.922) after being corrected by Gittman formula by using the SPSS software. The number of the concepts of democracy and human rights being analyzed in the four books is (3001) concepts (785) of which were concepts of democracy and (2216) were concepts of human rights. The Egyptian book has the greatest number of these concepts; it included (1077) concepts which make (35.888%). The Emirati book came in the second place, it included (830) concepts which make (27.6575%). The Iraqi book came in the third place, it included (769) concepts which make (25.624%). The Jordanian book came in the last place, it included (325) concepts which make (10.829%). The number of the mutual concepts of democracy and human rights in the four history books is (16), (6) of which were concepts of democracy and (10) were concepts of human rights. Analysis of the results have shown that the number of ideas and their distribution is (2862) in the four books. The history book for the third secondary class/literary branch in Egypt came in the first place; it included (1032) ideas which make (36.058%). The history book for the twelfth class in the UAE came in the second place, it included (818) ideas which make (28.581%). While the history book for the sixth preparatory class literary branch in Iraq came in the third place; it included (718) ideas which make (25.087 %). The history book at the secondary stage literary section of the two levels III and IV in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan came in the last place; it included (294) ideas which make ( 10.272 % ).After the researcher has applied the test of the acquisition of the mutual concepts of democracy and human rights on the (542) students. He corrected their responses to the items of the test. He, then, processed the results statistically. Results have shown that the calculated T - Value is (3.042) which is higher than the tabulated T - Value which is (1.960) at (541) degree of freedom and (0.05) level of significance, which indicates the existence of statistically significant differences between the SMA and medium - premise and in favor of the largest value (premise average) which means members of the sample acquisition of the concepts of democracy and human rights is weak.In the light of the results, the researcher recommends a number of recommendations : 1. Instructing designers and authors of the four history books to work on promoting the strengths of dealing with and displaying the quality and quantity of the concepts of democracy and human rights and finding solutions for the weaknesses of dealing with the concepts that were not found in the books.2. Diversifying the sources of the concepts of democracy and human rights for the students besides the textbook. The teacher is a role model and school libraries, and means of audio - visual media, the global network of information internet provide effective support to these gains.3. The authors of history books should add a question or more to the questions that follow the chapters or topics that address one of the concepts of democracy and human rights which urges the student to think, wonder, inquire and investigate.As a completion for this study the researcher suggests to conduct researches and studies including : - 1. A comparative study of the history book for sixth - grade literary equivalents in other Arab countries (Gulf or Maghreb or African) in the concepts of democracy and human rights contained therein.2. A balanced study between the history books for the preparatory stage in Iraq and the history books in the counterpart stage in the Islamic countries.3. Conduct a study to measure the awareness of teachers of history in the preparatory stage of the concepts of democracy and human rights are included in the history books.4. Conduct a study on the effectiveness of a suggested educational program for the acquisition of the concepts of democracy and human rights which are included in a history book for sixth - grade literary in Iraq.

There are obvious weakness in the representativeness paragraphs Altmarenah of particles content of scientific material, all of the behavioral objectives and this has been shown after calculating the difference and% between the rates of paragraphs and Nspthma percentage (within the subject and inside the book) and after the distribution paragraphs Altmarenah on each of the behavioral objectives, number and rate of release percentage of the total paragraphs Altmarenah within the same subject. In light of the results of this research researcher recommended a number of recommendations, including the following : 1. In order to verify this, the researcher has formulated eight null hypotheses, two of which are major and the others are minor. The major null hypotheses are : 1. There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of the first experimental group students who are studying chemistry by (SWOM) strategy in chemistry achievement test and the average scores of the second experimental group students who are studying chemistry by (PDEODE) strategy in chemistry achievement test and the average scores of the control group who are studying chemistry by the classical method in chemistry achievement test. 2. There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the average scores of the first experimental group students who are studying chemistry by (SWOM) strategy and the average scores of the second experimental group students who are studying chemistry by (PDEODE) strategy and the average scores of the control group who are studying chemistry by the classical method in the attitude scale towards chemistry. To achieve the aim of the research, the researcher adopted an experimental design that falls in the field of partial - control experimental designs. It also involves a post test for the three groups; the two experimental groups and the control group. The researcher randomly selected Al - Markaziyyah Intermediate School in the Directorate of Education of Babil. The sample was composed of (110) students, (38) students represented the first experimental group which was taught chemistry by (SWOM) strategy, (36) students represented the second experimental group which was taught chemistry by (PDEODE) strategy and (36) students represented the control group which was taught by the commonly used way. The sections were randomly chosen as well. The researcher has extracted the correlation coefficient among the three groups according to the following variables : (previous knowledge test scores, pre - test scores of attitude, the final scores of the 2015 - 2016 chemistry test of the three groups, intelligence, age by months, and parents' education). The researcher has formulated 188 behavioral goals for the topics which were taught during the period of the experiment. He has also prepared daily lesson plans for the three research groups. The research depended on two tools; the first of which is an achievement test prepared by the researcher himself, it is composed of 40 multiple choice items. The other tool is an attitude scale prepared by the researcher to measure post - teaching attitudes of the three groups. These two tools were being shown to a number of experts to verify their validity. The researchers himself taught the three groups at the same place and for the same time span which lasted for 12 weeks. At the end of the experiment, the researcher applied the two research tools on the research groups. The researcher used the following statistical tools (Single discrimination coefficient, chi square, Pearson correlation coefficient, Spearman - Brown formula, items difficulty coefficient, Difficulty index formula, Item discrimination formula, the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives formula, Scheffé's method, T - Test for two independent samples and Cooper equation. After processing the data statistically, the researcher concluded the following result : Students of the two experimental groups who were taught chemistry by the two Strategies of (SWOM) and (PDEODE) have done better in the achievement and post - teaching attitude tests than the control group students. In the light of the result, the researcher recommended that chemistry teachers should be directed towards using the two Strategies of (SWOM) and (PDEODE) in teaching chemistry

Progressing the students of experimental group that are studying history according to mental activators on the students of control group that are studying history with traditional method at the collective test.2. a statistical evident difference of experimental group was appear for the after evidential thinking than the before evidential thinking.Through the results of research, the researcher recommended the following : 1. Organizing training courses to the teachers of history to acknowledge them with mental activators that may have made by general directorate of curricula in the ministry of education.2. Taking care of preparing "secondary" stage, especially the literal fourth, bcause it represents the basic base in teaching students and focusing on teach them the historical concepts.3. Encouraging the independency of students and depending on themselves in achieving their jobs with discussing their results and what they had achieved with the supervision of teachers.colleges.In addition, researcher suggested : 1.
