Abstract: تعد مشاريع الري من اهم المواضيع التي تم دراستها منذ عهود طويلة وحتى وقتنا الحاضر لاهميتها في سد حاجة متطلبات الاراضي الزراعية من المياه اللازمة لاروائها، وتم اختيار مشاريع الري في العصر العباسي (عصر ازدهار الزراعة في العراق) لدراستها والتعرف على اسباب اندثارها، وهل لتلك اثر على مشاريع الري الحديثة في منطقة الدراسة (محافظة بغداد). وقد تناول البحث دراسة مشاريع الري في محافظة بغداد اخذا بنظر الاعتبار اهمية الجانب الجغرافي في قيام مثل هذه المشاريع وعلاقة هذا الجانب بديمومة تلك المشاريع واعطاء الاهداف المرجوة منها، ومعرفة مدى تاثير العوامل الطبيعية والبشرية في قيام وتوزيع تلك المشاريع قديما وحديثا، والتعرف على اهميتها والمشاكل التي كانت تعاني منها، وتاثيراتها السلبية على فاعلية وكفاءة عملها، والعمل على ايجاد السبل الكفيلة لغرض صيانتها والمحافظة عليها. تضمنت الرسالة مقدمة وخمسة فصول، تناول الفصل الاول : تحديد الموقع الجغرافي لمنطقة الدراسة وتحديد مشكلة وفرضية الدراسة، فضلا عن التعرف الى طريقة البحث وهيكليته. كما تم التطرق الى العديد من الدراسات السابقة التي تناولت الحديث عن مشاريع الري في العراق بشكل عام ومنطقة الدراسة بشكل خاص مع ورود بعض المصطلحات الخاصة بذلك. في حين تناول الفصل الثاني : نبذة تاريخية عن مشاريع الري قديما في المحافظة ومدى اثرها في قيام مشاريع ري حديثة في المنطقة، ولما لهذه المشاريع من اهمية في قيام العديد من المستوطنات البشرية والتي لولا هذه المشاريع لما كان هناك اي نوع من الاستيطان السكاني، اما الفصل الثالث فتناول اهم العوامل الطبيعية والبشرية لمحافظة بغداد ومدى الدور الفعال الذي لعبته في التاثير بشكل مباشر او غير مباشر على قيام تلك المشاريع واستمرار نجاحها او فشلها. ومن اهم هذه العوامل عامل السطح، والبنية الجيولوجية للمنطقة، ونوعية مياه الري، سواء السطحية منها او الجوفية، كما تناولت الدراسة اهمية التربة وملوحتها وخواصها الكيمياوية والفيزياوية في قيام مشاريع الري في المنطقة. فضلا عن تناول الجانب الزراعي واهميته وازدهاره عن طريق الانهار الموجودة في المنطقة قديما وحول المدينة (في العصر العباسي) بالرغم من اندثارها لاسباب (تم ذكرها سابقا) في البحث واستمرار قيام مشاريع اروائية حديثة في المنطقة بالرغم من تحول معظم مناطق المحافظة الى مشاريع سكنية وصناعية، الا ان مشاريع الري اخذت النصيب الاوفر من اقامة تلك المشاريع. اما الفصل الرابع فتناول التوزيع الجغرافي لمشاريع الري في المحافظة قديما (في العصر العباسي) ولما لهذه المشاريع من اهمية في اعمار المدينة وتغطية حاجة المحاصيل الزراعية من المياه وتوزيعها حديثا بهدف توسيع الرقعة الزراعية، ويظهر هذا التوزيع اثر كل من العوامل الجغرافية (الطبيعية والبشرية) في تغير معظم مجاري الانهار والتي بدورها كانت السبب في اقامة بعض المشاريع من عدمها، فضلا عن ذلك فان بعض مشاريع الري اقيمت في مناطق يتعذر فيها وجود المياه الكافية لهذه المشاريع مما سهل عملية فشلها. في حين تناول الفصل الخامس تقييم مشاريع الري قديما وحديثا في منطقة الدراسة من خلال التعرف على المساحات المزروعة قديما (في العصر العباسي) ومقارنتها بالتوسع الحاصل في زيادة المساحات الزراعية حديثا، واثر هذه المشاريع الاروائية الحديثة في سعة المساحات المزروعة في المحافظة، والتقنيات العلمية الحديثة التي استخدمت في تطور هذه المشاريع ومن ثم زيادة المساحات المزروعة مقارنة بتقنيات الماضي ومحدوديتها. فضلا عن التطرق الى بعض المشاكل التي تعاني منها القنوات الاروائية لمنطقة الدراسة وكيفية ايجاد الحلول العلمية السلمية لمعالجتها والتقليل من اثارها، وانتهت الرسالة بجملة من الاستنتاجات والتوصيات. | Irrigation projects are considered to be the most important topics studied since long eras until not for their importance in meeting the agricultural requirements of waters needed for irrigation. The irrigation projects at the Abbaside age are chosen (the agriculture flourishing age in Iraq) to study and know the reasons behind it annihilation, and if these reasons have an an influence on the modern irrigation projects in the study region (Baghdad governorate). The research deals with studying of irrigation projects in Baghdad governorate taking into consideration the geographical side importance in establishing such projects and this side relationship with the continuance of those projects and their decisive goals, knowing the effect extent of the natural and human factors on establishing and distributing those projects anciently and currently, knowing their importance and problems suffering from, their negative influences on their work activation and efficiency and working to find the suitable means to maintain and retain them. The thesis consists of an introduction and five chapters. The first chapter deals with “defining the geographical situation of the study region, the problem and hypothesis of the study as well as knowing the research method and its frame”. Also, several previous studies are mentioned talking about irrigation projects in Iraq generally and in the study region specifically with some special related terms. Chapter two states a historical brief on irrigation projects in the governorate in the past and their influence extent in establishing modern irrigation projects in the region, their importance in establishing so many human settlements, and if without, there would not be any kind of population settlement. Chapter three is about the most important natural and human factors in Baghdad governorate and their active role they played in direct and indirect influence or erecting those projects and their success or failure continuity. Some of main factors are surface, the region geographical structure, and kind of irrigation waters (surface or ground). The study also deals with the soil importance, its saltiness and its chemical and physical characteristics in erecting irrigation projects in the region beside the agricultural side, its importance and flourishing by the rivers existed in the region anciently and around the city (at the Abbaside age) despite their annihilation for reasons mentioned previously in the research, and the continuity of erecting modern irrigation projects in the region. Despite converting most governorate regions into residential and industrial projects, the irrigation projects take the biggest part of erecting those projects. Chapter four covers the geographical distribution of irrigation projects in the governorate in the past (at the Abbaside age) and their importance in reconstructing the city, meeting the agricultural crops need of waters and distributing them currently for the purpose of expanding the agricultural spot. This distribution shows the influence of the geographical factors (natural and human) in changing most river streams which are the reason behind erecting some projects or not. In addition, some projects are established in regions with insufficient waters which facilitate the failure process. Chapter five is about evaluating irrigation projects anciently and currently in the study region through knowing the planted areas anciently (at the Abbaside age) in comparison with the expansion taken place in the increase of the agricultural areas currently, the effect of these modern irrigation projects on expanding the planted areas in the governorate, the modern scientific techniques used in developing these projects and as a result increasing the planted areas in comparison with the past techniques and their limitations. The thesis also considers some problems the irrigation canals of the study region suffering from and finds the valid scientific solutions for treatment and decreases their effects. The thesis ends with a group of conclusions and recommendations.
