Abstract: هناك ثلاثة مسارات زالزالية انكسارية للموجات الزالزلية الطولية والقصية على حداً سواء مسحت في موقع مكب نفايات ضمن منطقة قضاء الكفل-محافظة بابل, وسط العراق, بواسطة استخدام ثلاث ترتيبات من النشر هي(الاعتيادي, المركزي, المعكوس). بالاضافة الى ذلك. استخدم المسح الزلزالي عبر الابار مثل (Cross-hole, Down-hole and Up-hole) التي نفذت في موقع التحري. هاتين طريقتين من المسح نفذت لغرض الحصول على اعماق وسمك طبقات التربة لمنطقة الدراسة, ايضاً معاملات المرونة ومستوى المياه الجوفية تم حسابها لغرض معرفة طبيعة التربة لبناء المنشا الهندسي والتي قد تستخدم مستقبلاً لغرض مشروع مكب النفايات.
حسابات السرع الموجية الطولية والقصية برهنت على وجود طبقتين تحت سطحية ضحلة لمنطقة الدراسة. معدل السرع والسماكات للطبقة الاولى هي 267.22, 155.55 م/ثانية و 6.58 م والتي تتكون من تربة طين رملي غريني رمادي وتربة رمل غريني اخضر, اما الطبقة الثانية تتكون من تربة طين غريني اخضر-بني مع الرمل, كانت السرع الموجية الزالزالية والسماكات فيها تساوي .11521, 288.16 م/ثانية للموجات الطولية والموجات القصية على التوالي. من ناحية اخرى, مستوى عمق المياه الجوفية في منطقة الدراسة كانت 1.2 متر خلال Sep.2016. علاوة على ذلك, متوسط معاملات المرونة كانت تتراوح مابين {κ = 69.51-605.16 MPa, μ = 24.64-212.37 MPa, E = 60.40-510.93 MPa, λ = 41.85-392.22 MPa, and, v = 0.18-0.37}.
المعلومات الهندسية تتضمن الخصائص الجيوتكنيكية التي تم قياسها وتحليلها للحصول على الاهداف الرئيسية للدراسة. فحص الاختراق القياسي وقيم سعة التحميل للتربة تم حسابها لغرض دراسة التربة. معدل قيم N في الموقع كانت تساوي 11 ضربة 30 سم وسعة التحميل 6.10 طن\م2 في العمق 1.5 م. لوحظ ان قيمة N تزداد تدريجيا مع العمق بسبب زيادة الكثافة مع العمق. في الاعماق التي تتراوح مابين 13-15 م, قيمة N كانت تصل الى 43 ضربة 30 سم واكثر, هذا يشير الى ان التربة تكون اصلب وتحتوي على كمية عالية من الرمل مع قليل من الاطيان, لذلك جميع الاعماق او الطبقات في الابار المحفورة يزداد الحمل فيها مع العمق وتحتوي على سعة تحميل تصل الى (16) طن\م2. هذا يعني ان تلك الطبقات تعتبر لهذه الاعماق وتمتاز بصلابة عالية او Hardness.
