Abstract: The spectral analysis is an important technique in the signal processing; it shows signal characteristics in frequency domain. The aim of the project is to review the state of art of the real-time spectral analyzers and their applications. Throughout this work, a suggested techniques for the implementation of spectral analyzer has been introduced. Also, an experimental system has been designed using the multiple techniques. The spectral analyzer system, which is used in this study, is implemented by three techniques: the first one is Fast Fourier Transform technique (FFT). The second one is Integral Pulse Frequency Modulation (IPFM) and the third is zero-crossing techniques. A sort of comparison has been made, showing that these techniques are considerably efficient techniques for small time scale (Real-Time). The characteristics of signal has been measured for the three techniques and the values of error are discussed. The real time spectral analysis is achieved by using the three methods mentioned before, they are implemented using a high speed hardware also using a computer of a high speed performance. This system has been operated, and experimented in a wide range of applications. In this respect, DSP and Turbo C programming package are the principle of the simulation tool performance.

Abstract: Design an Ultra-Wideband antenna that rejects all frequency bands that cause interference as WLAN) for IEEE 802.11a coverage the (5.15– 5.35) GHz and the (5.725 –5.825) GHz bands, WiMAX coverage in (3.3 –3.6) GHz and C-band operating in (3.7–4.2) GHz. The goal of this research is to reduce the problem of interference in bands in communication systems by using the current distribution techniques, by adding notch such as rectangular slit cutting and side slitting on the patch are used to reduce large bandwidths and rejected unwanted bands. It focuses on the design, simulation, and fabrication analysis for UWB assigned applications with, low cost, large bandwidth, high data rate, and appropriate radiation pattern. These studies were performed using the "Computer Simulation Technology (CST)" software package and yielded the best design dimensions for the proposed antennas. Four antennas are proposed, the first type is circular patch structure with dimensions optimized (36.5×35×1.6) mm3, the notch band consisting of two rectangular slit on the radiate patch to reject frequency range (3.3-3.7) GHz. The second antenna is designed as a tree shape by substrate dimensions (24×24×1.6) mm3, the rejecting band with center (4.7 GHz). The third type is designing an elliptical patch antenna with dimensions 40×40×1.6 mm3 , Rectangular slots are used to achieve a rectangular notch in WMAX (3.1-3.8) GHz and X-band (7.1-7.8) GHz. The fourth design consists of a rectangular patch size is (50 × 48 × 1.6) mm3, two symmetrical slots in the patch that produces a single band frequency (8.3GHz) to prevent interference with all other frequency bands. All designs achieved antenna design requirements, such as the Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) less than two, good gain, small size, and low dispersions. ,
