Abstract: جاءت هذه الدراسة لتسلط الضوء على واقع هيكل النشاط الصناعي في ناحية الكرادة الشرقية لعام (2019) والكشف عن التوزيع المكاني للمنشات الصناعية التحويلية الكبيرة والمتوسطة وتسليط الضوء على دور الامكانات الجغرافية المتاحة التي كانت سبباً في توطن النشاط الصناعي، فضلاً عن الكشف عن اهم المشكلات والمعوقات التي تواجهها وسبل معالجتها. وقد اعتمدت هذه الدراسة على عدة مناهج تمثلت بالمنهج الاقليمي في اختيار منطقة الدراسة والمنهج التحليلي والوصفي في تحليل المعطيات بالاعتماد على مؤشرات الدراسة (عدد المنشات، عدد العاملين، قيمة اجور العاملين السنوية) وعلى مستوى الفروع الصناعية والوحدات الادارية للناحية، فضلاً عن الاعتماد على المنهج التاريخي في كشف نشاة النشاط الصناعي في ناحية الكرادة الشرقية.
اظهرت الدراسة ان توطن النشاط الصناعي في ناحية الكرادة الشرقية توطن تاريخي يعود الى بدايات القرن العشرين عندما كانت الصناعات الحرفية اليدوية البسيطة هي السائدة فيها قبل دخول القوات البريطانية عام (1917)، وكشفت الدراسة ان عدد المنشات الصناعية التحويلية الكبيرة والمتوسطة لعام (2019) قد بلغ (125) منشاة صناعية من ضمنها (58) كبيرة الحجم و(67) منشاة صناعية متوسطة الحجم جاء توقيعها المكاني الحالي لتوفر مجموعة من المقومات التي ساهمت في جذب الصناعات نحوها. اما التوزيع المكاني للمنشات الصناعية التي اظهرت الدراسة ان (38.4%) من الصناعات الكبيرة والمتوسطة تركزت ضمن المنطقة الصناعية في حي الزعفرانية التي بلغ عدد منشاتها الصناعية (48) منشاة صناعية مختلفة استحوذت على نسبة (%33.1) من القوى العاملة وبمجموع عاملين بلغ (3987) عاملا في عموم النشاط الصناعي ضمن الناحية، كما وبلغت قيمة اجور العاملين السنوية (37665) مليون دينار وهي بذلك تشكل نسبة (33.6%) من مجموع قيمة اجور العاملين السنوية في عموم الناحية.
وبعد تحليل البنية الصناعية في ناحية الكرادة الشرقية التي كشفت عن توطن (6) فروع صناعية ما يشير الى تنوع النشاط الصناعي فيها وهذا ما توصلت اليه الدراسة بعد تطبيق الاساليب الاحصائية كمعامل التخصص الصناعي ودليل جبس- مارتن، كما وكشفت الدراسة عن وجود تركز عالي للنشاط الصناعي الذي تم التوصل اليه باستخدام دليل (جبس-مارتن) لمؤشر عدد العاملين والذي بلغت قيمته (0.07). وقد واجه النشاط الصناعي عدة مشكلات متباينة كان من اكثرها تاثيرا ضعف الدعم الحكومي ومشكلات الطاقة والوقود فضلا عن صعوبة التسويق والمنافسة الخارجية، واختتمت الدراسة بتقديم عدد من المقترحات التي من شانها معالجة المشكلات، كان من اهمها ضرورة توفر دعم حكومي حقيقي للصناعات المحلية وحماية المنتج الوطني وتذليل كافة الصعوبات التي تواجهها من اجل تطويرها والارتقاء بها نحو التنافسية العالمية.
