Study each expression in the Quran reach us to the right picture which is Quran god put it, so we can know some of that secrts which are surprise the nitive speaker in that time (Arbian).7. Dr. Fadel Al - Sammurai interests with high objectivity and right believe in his translate and transferee. 8. Dr. Fadel Al - Sammurai has great draw in his brain, he make the (Clearness) one of the styles which used in Quran when he talk about medicine, sky and all the humanity science.9. Dr. Fadel Al - Sammurai clears that each word in Quran putting with fine picture and there is no way to sustitnte this word with another.10. Muhammed Mehdi Al - Jawahiry, agreat Iraqi poet, was born in Najaf in 1899. He studied rhetoric while he was very young and begun composing poetry at the age of sixteen. His first poetic anthology with the title of Halabat Al - Adab (The Circle of Literature) was published before 1927. He edited a number of newspapers and worked as an official in the palace of King Faisel I in 1927. In 1947, he was a member of the parliament for kerbala.In 1948, he taravelled to paris, and then to poland. In 1950, he travelled to Egypt and stayed as a guest of the Egyptian Government. In 1956 he travelled to Syria and returned to Baghdad in 1957. He went to kuwait as a member of the Iraqi Cultural Delegate. Al - Jawahiry migrated to prague in 1961 until 1980. Then he remained in Syria until he died in 1997 and was buried in Damascus. This Al - Jawahiry becamse of a number of factors environmental, psychological, idiological, social and economical. All these factors participated in constructing the personality of Al - Jawahiry. He was very courageous in declaring his points of view in which challenged the dectators using his poetic talent ln his poetry, he defended his people who were suffering from hunger and death because of their bad rulers. This thesis also shows the poet's rebellion against the backward social treatment of women. He called for the freedom of women and their equality with men. The thesis studies Al - Jawahiry's artistic rebellion in which he called for poetic modernism both in form and content. Al - Jawhiry left the unity of the line of verse to the poetic sentence

The concept of Sadness in Arabic Poetry the Islamic Age”This thesis attempts to study the concept of sadness through its causes that excited the Islamic Poet to express this feeling by all its aspects which appeared in his poetry. The Introduction discusses the lexical definition of the term, Sadness, Sadness in the Per - Islamic Age, its causes and its appearances. Chapter one treats the causes of Sadness and it cantions four sections one, “Death” ; section two “Home - Sickness” ; Section three, “Deprivation”, and Section for, “Old Age”. In all these sections the concept of Sadness is treated from its humanistic aspects. Chapter two dectares the appearances of sadness in the poetry of the Islamic age. Sadness was represented by weeping, moaning, watering graves, waking throughout the night and the night appears to be longer. These are the most widely used appearances of sadness through which the poets expressed their feeling of sorrow. And chapter three shows the most important technical abevices which appear in the poetry of sadness. The chapter consist of three sections. The first, “Language”, deals with the poetic lexicon. The words and abstractions from the Holy Quran ; the second, “Style”, contains : Intoragation, Addressing, Oath, repetition. Those devices were employed by the poets to express the images and meanings of sadness; And the third section which deals with the imagery through simile and metaphor which were the most important rhytorical devices that expressed the meaning and appearance of sadness in the Islamic poetry.

تضمنت الدراسة مقدمة وتمهيد، وفصول اربعة. فالمقدمة بينت خطة البحث ومنهجه وما اشتمل عليه من محتويات، اما التمهيد فكان عن اهمية المنهج وتطوره في الفكر العربي والعراقي الحديث. حيث وضح اهمية المنهج وحتميته وقدمه، وحضوره في الفكر العربي الاسلامي، ورسوخ المنهجية | Methods of the Stndy of Abbasidian poetry (132 - 354 A.H.) by the Twentieth Century lraqi Researchers. Submitted by Nerdeen Ridha Kareem, to the Council of College of Education Vniversity of Dyala - 2004. The present stndy consists of an introduction, preface, and four chapters. The introduction is devoted to discuss the outline of the research and its method. While the preface aims at showing the importance of the method and its development in the Arabic thought. It also embodies Sections about the importance of method and its necessity (inevitability) , its attendance in the Arabic Islamic thought, the stability of methodology in Arabic studies, the methods of Arabic ancient studies, the reasons of methodology the Arab researchers poverty at the beginning of the twentieth century; the care for method and methodology in the Arabic studies during the twentieth century, as well as the method of the literary research in Iraq during the Modern Age and the reasons which lead to its development. Chapter One is devoted to discuss the historical backgroud of method; it includes : an explanation of its merits and perits, the care for the Western researchers’ use of it (method) in their studies; as well as this chapter shows an illustration of the priorities of this research in the ancient Arabic composition and its popularity (prevail) in the Arabic and Irqi composition at the beginning of the twentieth century. The chapter is divided into two Sections : the first section presents the regional studies, and includes an entry for these studies, and illustration of their merits and perits (dismerts). Then it shows the existence of the regional in the ancient Arabic composition and the care for it in the modern Arabic studies, as well as the variety of the regional academic studies of the Arab Neo researchers. After that it exposes the regional Studies of the Iraqi.Neo - researchers according to the geographic regions firstly, and the towns secondly. While the second section is devoted to discuss the studies of the literary biography, and also contains an entry to this study and an illustration of the merits and dismerits of its method. Then it shows the variety of the studies of the literary biography of the lraqi Neo - researchers, and its exposure is according to the time - span. Chapter Two is devoted to study the technician (artistic) method and includes an entry to this method, and illustration of its components, merits, dismerits, and the variety the technical university studies of the Arab. researchers in the Modern Age. Neo - researchers. After that these studies of poetic arts of lraqi Neo - researchers are exposed in the following phase : 1. studies of poetic language.2. studies of the artistic construction of poetry. 3. studies of varies artistic phenomenon in poetry.4. studies of the critic tendencies after modernism. Chapter Three is devoted to discuss the method of the studies of arts and poetic subjects. The study of arts consists of an entry to these studies and an illustration of the components merits, and dismerits of their method. Thenit shows the variety of studies of the poetic arts of the Arab researchers in the Modern Age - After that, these studies of poetic arts of lraqi Neo - researchers are exposed in the following phase : 1. studies of the art of Lament (bemoaning).2. studies of satire (Lampoonery).3. studies of the art of ascentism and mysticism.4. studies of the art of admonition and apology.5. studies of the art of hum or and jesting. 6. Another studies of (wine (alcohol), hunt, praise, boast). Chapter four is devoted to study the mixed methods, and includes an enture an entry to this method, showing the nature of the mixing of the various methods in literary studies, popularity of this mixing in the Arabic studies, Then it illustrates and exposes the studies of the lraqi Modern research s in the mixed methods, and They are arranged in the following phrases : 1. studies of the historic technical method.2. studies of the objective technical method.3. studies of the social technical method. 4. studies of the psychogical method, and.5. studies of the cultural technical method. The conclusion sums up the findings of the study. At the end of the study there is a list of sources and references (bibliography) and table of contents, and the summary of the study.

In the name of God the com passionate the merciful.Dr. Ali gawad Al - Tahir is a bright name in the sky of Arabic contemporary literature in Iraq. He sory of identification collected between discussion criticism and references identification and teaching.He clearly contributed in writing of litrary essay and he loved Arabic language as scholar and teacher. Until he passed away on 26 Jam adi First, 1417 A - H of 9/19/1996 A.C.Ali Al - Tahir is known that he loved story reading and criticism. He wrote terso f essays and their studies, theyate formed a contem porary criticism heritage must be studied and fully insigt in its arts to present in its theoritical and practical fram wort, thus I pains take in my the ses which is entitled by my some difficulties face this tueses. Most of which are Ali Al - Tahir essays and hisstories study were shattered in vavious media and magazins but the little copied and books. After the events of nine April/2003. The works in these articals was stopped for the stopping of the public.Of the public libraries also. So I sought special libraries as I intended Ali - Al - Tahir's house to make use of his writing, it was clear that what he puplished in papers and magazines collected and arranged in the hope of issuing by public hous in Lebanon but yet have not been issued.This theses is depended his criticism of stories as well as his most important book is [G.S] consisting of the majority of literature meetings and the magazine which held a meeting with him, in which he expressed his intellectual and criticism stances - His book “introduction in lite rary criticism” This theses includes introduction, four chapters, conclusion and references. The introduction involves study the interesting of the critic in story reading first stage is before the departure to Paris and the second stage after he returned to the country. The introduction also convers conditions put by Al - Tahir for the narrator and critic, and then it convers scheme of critic by which he tries to manifest critics thoughts. Chapter one is an attempt to study the structure of the story in Al - Tahir concept during analysis of his criticism views, This chapter is devided into six researches. During which and attempt to search the mechanism building narration of Al - Tahir, The first research convers the title and initiate, and their infulence within the narration building, while the second research convers thoughts and stances of the critic and conditions of its formation with in the narration building as wellas the situation of the personality and its effect within the article structure for the novel.The fourth research involves the form and content’ of Al - Tahir studies by which the formation of every one serves the narrative text. While the fifth effect in delimitation the narrative work However the final research discusses the conclusion of the narrative work and some views of Al - Tajhir about their successes and foulings - chapter two devotes the study of the structure of the narrative language trying to manifest its influence within the story and the way of formation this language. This chapter divides into five researches, the first one devotes the woven of language to show the stance of critic towards the language and its influence in his criticism. The second research devotes the language correction within the narrative criticism.It was a conspicous stigmatize in Al - Tahir criticism for the research stop here to show the concerning of Al - Tahir.The third research convers the poetic and its role within the narrative text in view of Al - Tahir criticism. The fourth research covers the stance of critic in the discussing and monologue within the narration of the language and the way of formation everyone. While the fifth research anf the final devotes Al - Tahir view about 6 place and rtime 9 within the language building. The third chapter studies building. The third chapter studies the creation of the story as the critic sees. The chapter is divided into sit researches.The first one is devoted the imagination and its effect in the creation of the story in the view of Al - Tahir while the second research is devoted for the importance of humanitarian problem within the story.The third research is a statement for the critic stance over the authority of narrator with in the story. While the fourth research comes under the title of “fermentation” is devoted to wards the maturation of work before it would be published.While the fifth research is the effect of depiation in the creation of the novel and the final research is the influence of the “arts faith” in creation of a successful narrative action.Chapter four includes specific criticism by which Al - Tahir identifies. The research could stand and insight its effect and influence.This chapter is divided into nine researches.The first research is devoted the “terminology identification” Al - Tahir devotes deeply importance to manifestes his view while the second research is devoted another important sign is the 6 criticism of the criticism” the critic assured the practical importance during certain conditions manifests by the research. While the third research covers the “intend” and the role that is played within the criticism operation in aview of Al - Tahir in the fourth research under what is titled the 6 researching for the typical story” it is an important in the criticism of Al - Tahir, while the fifth research covers an eminent stigmatize for critic is the presentation of an abstract of a novel that criticizes. The sixth research covers an important point is the 6 reminisce of critic in narration and its connection between what is read yesterday and today’ while the seventh research under the title the 6 intere sting of the critic in time sequemces” while the eight research is devoted to the priority of advantages oveer the disadvantages”And finally the ninth research is a statement of “the view of the critic in the narrative influence the conclusion of this study includes the following results.I owe a deep dept of gratitude to my supervisor Dr. Fahdil Aboud Al - Timimi in Diala university. The study deals with Rhetorical Formation as a critical idiom which works in effective poetry field and it is very clear in procedural use. The picture in the poem or the portrait needs the senses and feelings of the receiver and it colours his experience. Thus the drawer and the post use certain means to fulfil his works.As it is known poetry is based on rhetorical arts and means from linguistic and rhetorical view point to create motivation and astonishment. The thesis aims at revealing the art movement of rhetoric and describing it inside the poem structure and outside it. The poem includes in its multi - understanding. The poem is considered as abase the field for poetic rhetoric. AL - Saaleeq and Al - fattacks poetry was chosen to be the subject of the present study because it has literary importance. it gathers two literary eras.Which are considered the most prominent literary eras for poetry production. They include poetic interest and researchers tackled this rich literature. Since the researcher is interested in old literature and has a great wish to study and read it he chose this topic. The study falls in to the following parts : Preliminary (Rhetorical formation in Language) was studied from two sides , the first studies the formation and its relation with poetry. The second deals with the rhetoric term and its development. The study falls into three chapters. The first chapter deals with assimilation formation and its activity.The decoding assimilation structure was studied in the first part and the rhetoric assimilation structure is studied in the second part.The second chapter studies metaphorical formation. The chapter is divided in to three sections.The first deals with metaphorical structure the second part deals with the body metaphorical structure and the third deals with recognize able decoding structure. The third chapter deals with the exceeding rhetorical formation. The study arrives at the following conclusions and suggestions : - The study identifies formation concept.It investigates its concept deeply. - AL - Saaleeq and AL - Fattacks poetry have a great ability in poetry. - They were able to re form environment from poetic viewpoint. - They deal with poetic language as scientists who know every thing concerning its content. - In the assimilation structure art is mixed with psychology. - Most of Al - saaleeq and Al - Fattacks poctic assimilation pictures are very clear. - Al - saaleeq and Al - Fattacks poctic were able to change the task of the main assimilation structure from being printed on the poets conscience to being printed on the receivers conscience. May - The other studies in future study Al - saaleeq and Al - Fattacks poetry from a semantic point of view. - A study can deal with semiotic formation phenol menon in Al - saaleeq and Al - Fattacks poetry. - Al - saaleeq and Al - Fattacks poetry am be studied from a stylistic viewpoint.

The thesis is specialized with the study of ( Harith Bin Badr Al - gdani poetry - artistic and objective study ) The poet died in 64 Hijri. The selection of this poet wasn't futilely because he wasn't from those well - known poets and literature books didn't contain him so we studied him to show his poetic subjects.The importance of the thesis is latent that he was a poet trying to treat troubles protesting in his life. The thesis is consist of introduction , prelude , tow chapters and epilogue ( conclusion ) shows the most important results.In the Drelude , the researcher dealt with the poet's life.Parentage , his era and the life effect in developing of the poetry in Al Amawy era , his fluency , eloquence , his place among other notable at that time his death.The first chapter is specified to objective study which contained two topics , the first topic contained main subjects in his poetry (wine - contrast - praise) while the second topic involved in the secondary subjects in his poetry like ( satire - elegy - blame - wisdom - pride - preaching - apology - complain and dispraise). The second chapter dealt with artistic study of his poetry , it included three topic , the first topic studied the structure of the poem and poetic figure ( imagery ). The second topic involved with the music of the poetry ( inner and outer ) , the last topic specialized with pronunciation and structures. The thesis ended with epilogue in which the researcher concluded that ( Haritha Bin Badr ) presented various figures in praise , satire and elegy - He didn't care to the introductions of his poems - His language was distinguished with mildness of express , easy ejections , clarity meaning with stuff of fluency and eloquence.

This dissertation is an attempt to study aspects of stylistic deviation in the poetic genre, in an introduction and three chapters. The introduction is dedicated to deal with the different terms and Arabic translations of stylistic deviation.The first chapter tackles "Substitutional Deviation", in three sections : Section one : Deviation of characterization structure.Section two : Deviation of simile structure.Section three : Deviation of impersonation and personificationstructure.The second chapter is devoted to study syntactical deviation, in three sections : Section one : Metonymic deviation.Section two : Deviation of hyperbaton, omission and intertextuality.Section three : More syntactical deviation aspects, such as : annexment and shift, apostrophe, interrogation,order, prohibition, swearing and exclamation. The third chapter is dedicated to the musical host of the poetical form, with a theoretical introduction and three sections : Section one : outer music : metres and rhymes.Section two : inner music in forms of : consonance, repetition, fronting, isocolon and lionine rhyme.Section three : Terza rima (Al - Muwashah). The dissertation has come up to a conclusion summarizing the final academic results.

I handle in my thesis : preface of culture of Arab Islamic Society and how this culture influenced on art level for poetry specially correspondence of poets because it is a source from culture sources, paradox started from this society and was a mean from means that used to make people laugh through humor which its essence was political most of time and declared among people as daily journals to get the component and call him names on sight and hear of ruling authority or by order from it, paradox reach its op and developed in Amawi age on hand of three poets (jarir, Al - Farazdiq, Al - Akhtal) and how Islam influenced in poetry of those poets and Islam influenced in poetry of those poets and how they influenced by it. In the first chapter ,handled influenced of Islam in meanings and how these meanings influenced in poetry of three Amawi poets, we study that they have colors of immaterial influenced which depend on adding properties of faith and good and Justice and mercy and wellness and belief and erasing the Injustice from complement persons of paradox poetry and most of its Islamic meanings were derived from holy Koran.In the second chapter I handled influence of Islam in terms and styles ,or terms and styles of three poets influenced by Islam, where they invested most of their terns from holy Koran ,also their ways influenced in way or another by Islam from style which reflect personality of poet where (style is a man).While third chapter handled poetical image for those three poets from their influence in poetical image by Islam and being derived from holy Koran and how reflect this image the experiences of poet where image connected with experience of poet and some specific emotional thought and related with feelings and control on poem and become apart from it and cooperate with rest parts by this complete experiences transfer and it is exactly structure of Arab poetry and from the most distinguish means which Koran depend upon it imaging meanings to apply feelings of material issues this wade it look like it is live image in movement ,poets used Koran image and refer to tern and Koran idiom and it is aesthetic mean in directing art consequence.

The present study, “The Function of Poetry in the Arab Rhetorical Heritage of Criticism from Al - Jahiz (d.255H.) to Hazim Al - Qirtajni (d.684H.)” Falls into an introduction four chapters and a conclusion A list of references and an abstract in English are also provided. The Introduction pinpoints the concept of function as well as showing the importance of poetry in the Arab rhetorical heritage of criticim and the role of the Arab poet. Chapter One presents a study of aesthtics as a coneept and science related to poetry within the sensational and descriptive frame, as well as the cognitive and semantic frame. Chapter Two shows the poetic benefit (al - nafii al - shiiri)as a term which is not found in the Arab heritage. So, it was the task of the researcher to look for the origins of this term by studying it in formationully and historically Chapter Three studies the concept of ethics linguistically and terminologically. It also includes a study of the poetic ethics beginning with pre - Islamic era. Chapter Four investigates the educational function of poetry which can be classified into general and specific functions. The study ends with the conclusion that shows the results concluded
