المستخلص: This study deals with the use of metaphor in different critical studies and how such studies tackle with the contemporary criticism .No doubt that the contemporary rhetorical need more investigation and search in order to see the relation between such studies and the rhetorical heritage, as well as benefit the got from the technical and critical variables which attached the creative process in different periods.Metaphor considered as one of the active and wealthy systems which have aesthetic and semantic value at the same time .Metaphor excludes the apparent meanings and transforms them into deep positive meanings ,such a thing makes the recipient feel the enjoyment the meanings conveyed by metaphor. So, many studies shed more light on metaphor and they engaged in such rhetorical art such as Dr.Mahdi Al - samaraai s study entitled (metaphor in Arabic Rhetoric),such study has great effect in the settlement of the most significant critical principles for metaphor in spite of its different method in accordance with m study.This study finds that there is an influential significance in restricting the introduction to deal with the clarification of the two terms (vision and visions )which show the gap and he overlap between the two terms.The first chapter in this study deals with the traditional trend of metaphor in the modern critical visions , then the chapter is divided into three sections preceded by a prologue that identifies the origin of the traditional rhetoric and its trends . The first section deals with the contemporary critical views who denied the existence of metaphor in Holy Quran and the prophetic traditions, as well as the views which assure the existence of metaphor in Holy Quran and prophetic traditions. While the second section dealt with the fractional and logical views which prevail the Arabic culture - specially metaphor - by Al - Sakaki and others who follow him though many critics refused such vision which takes metaphor away from art, beauty and aesthetic .Finally, the third section sheds light on the previous standard norms about metaphor through the creative achievement .Accordingly, it has been found that many critics had adopted this vision though its danger since it limited the creativity of the creator on one side and dominated the recipient’s taste on the other side .cThe second chapter dealt with the stages of development of metaphor ,practically it has been divided into three sections. The first one studies the metaphorical image and the relation of this image with metaphor in the light of the contemporary critics’ views ,also ,it concerned with the problem of originating the metaphorical image .The second section sheds light on metaphor as one of the poetic tropes with reference to the various visions that of the critics ,also this section includes the poetic study of the prose not to be limited to poetry since the language of prose nowadays dissipated from the daily life language so it has the feature of being literary .Thirdly, we find that the section dealt with the sign and the connection of sign with metaphor to generate the inspiration energy and to acquire sensitive and expressive meanings.The third chapter includes two sections ;the first one dealt with the cultural criticism and the mechanism of the entire metaphor and its impact on the implicit cultural formats through the various environments ,accordingly metaphor might not be considered as a rhetorical trop only but it might include all the format dimensions in the speech and in the receptive verbs .Moreover , it has been revealed that this study has expanded to include more about the cultural criticism and the reason behind this since it is a new term unclear to many new Arabic and western critics. The second section dealt with metaphor through the modern theories which elucidate the philosophy of using metaphor and actually the most well - known theories which tackled the contemporary critics’ views as the replacement theory, and the interactive theory which have a great position in the ancient Arabic rhetorical criticism till the modern age as well as the relation theory , the contextual theory and the pragmatic theory..Finally, the aim of this study with all its rights and faults - is to be the first step in the knowledge way.

المستخلص: In the name of God the com passionate the merciful.Dr. Ali gawad Al - Tahir is a bright name in the sky of Arabic contemporary literature in Iraq. He sory of identification collected between discussion criticism and references identification and teaching.He clearly contributed in writing of litrary essay and he loved Arabic language as scholar and teacher. Until he passed away on 26 Jam adi First, 1417 A - H of 9/19/1996 A.C.Ali Al - Tahir is known that he loved story reading and criticism. He wrote terso f essays and their studies, theyate formed a contem porary criticism heritage must be studied and fully insigt in its arts to present in its theoritical and practical fram wort, thus I pains take in my the ses which is entitled by my some difficulties face this tueses. Most of which are Ali Al - Tahir essays and hisstories study were shattered in vavious media and magazins but the little copied and books. After the events of nine April/2003. The works in these articals was stopped for the stopping of the public.Of the public libraries also. So I sought special libraries as I intended Ali - Al - Tahir's house to make use of his writing, it was clear that what he puplished in papers and magazines collected and arranged in the hope of issuing by public hous in Lebanon but yet have not been issued.This theses is depended his criticism of stories as well as his most important book is [G.S] consisting of the majority of literature meetings and the magazine which held a meeting with him, in which he expressed his intellectual and criticism stances - His book “introduction in lite rary criticism” This theses includes introduction, four chapters, conclusion and references. The introduction involves study the interesting of the critic in story reading first stage is before the departure to Paris and the second stage after he returned to the country. The introduction also convers conditions put by Al - Tahir for the narrator and critic, and then it convers scheme of critic by which he tries to manifest critics thoughts. Chapter one is an attempt to study the structure of the story in Al - Tahir concept during analysis of his criticism views, This chapter is devided into six researches. During which and attempt to search the mechanism building narration of Al - Tahir, The first research convers the title and initiate, and their infulence within the narration building, while the second research convers thoughts and stances of the critic and conditions of its formation with in the narration building as wellas the situation of the personality and its effect within the article structure for the novel.The fourth research involves the form and content’ of Al - Tahir studies by which the formation of every one serves the narrative text. While the fifth effect in delimitation the narrative work However the final research discusses the conclusion of the narrative work and some views of Al - Tajhir about their successes and foulings - chapter two devotes the study of the structure of the narrative language trying to manifest its influence within the story and the way of formation this language. This chapter divides into five researches, the first one devotes the woven of language to show the stance of critic towards the language and its influence in his criticism. The second research devotes the language correction within the narrative criticism.It was a conspicous stigmatize in Al - Tahir criticism for the research stop here to show the concerning of Al - Tahir.The third research convers the poetic and its role within the narrative text in view of Al - Tahir criticism. The fourth research covers the stance of critic in the discussing and monologue within the narration of the language and the way of formation everyone. While the fifth research anf the final devotes Al - Tahir view about 6 place and rtime 9 within the language building. The third chapter studies building. The third chapter studies the creation of the story as the critic sees. The chapter is divided into sit researches.The first one is devoted the imagination and its effect in the creation of the story in the view of Al - Tahir while the second research is devoted for the importance of humanitarian problem within the story.The third research is a statement for the critic stance over the authority of narrator with in the story. While the fourth research comes under the title of “fermentation” is devoted to wards the maturation of work before it would be published.While the fifth research is the effect of depiation in the creation of the novel and the final research is the influence of the “arts faith” in creation of a successful narrative action.Chapter four includes specific criticism by which Al - Tahir identifies. The research could stand and insight its effect and influence.This chapter is divided into nine researches.The first research is devoted the “terminology identification” Al - Tahir devotes deeply importance to manifestes his view while the second research is devoted another important sign is the 6 criticism of the criticism” the critic assured the practical importance during certain conditions manifests by the research. While the third research covers the “intend” and the role that is played within the criticism operation in aview of Al - Tahir in the fourth research under what is titled the 6 researching for the typical story” it is an important in the criticism of Al - Tahir, while the fifth research covers an eminent stigmatize for critic is the presentation of an abstract of a novel that criticizes. The sixth research covers an important point is the 6 reminisce of critic in narration and its connection between what is read yesterday and today’ while the seventh research under the title the 6 intere sting of the critic in time sequemces” while the eight research is devoted to the priority of advantages oveer the disadvantages”And finally the ninth research is a statement of “the view of the critic in the narrative influence the conclusion of this study includes the following results.I owe a deep dept of gratitude to my supervisor Dr. Fahdil Aboud Al - Timimi in Diala university. المستخلص: The study deals with Rhetorical Formation as a critical idiom which works in effective poetry field and it is very clear in procedural use. The picture in the poem or the portrait needs the senses and feelings of the receiver and it colours his experience. Thus the drawer and the post use certain means to fulfil his works.As it is known poetry is based on rhetorical arts and means from linguistic and rhetorical view point to create motivation and astonishment. The thesis aims at revealing the art movement of rhetoric and describing it inside the poem structure and outside it. The poem includes in its multi - understanding. The poem is considered as abase the field for poetic rhetoric. AL - Saaleeq and Al - fattacks poetry was chosen to be the subject of the present study because it has literary importance. it gathers two literary eras.Which are considered the most prominent literary eras for poetry production. They include poetic interest and researchers tackled this rich literature. Since the researcher is interested in old literature and has a great wish to study and read it he chose this topic. The study falls in to the following parts : Preliminary (Rhetorical formation in Language) was studied from two sides , the first studies the formation and its relation with poetry. The second deals with the rhetoric term and its development. The study falls into three chapters. The first chapter deals with assimilation formation and its activity.The decoding assimilation structure was studied in the first part and the rhetoric assimilation structure is studied in the second part.The second chapter studies metaphorical formation. The chapter is divided in to three sections.The first deals with metaphorical structure the second part deals with the body metaphorical structure and the third deals with recognize able decoding structure. The third chapter deals with the exceeding rhetorical formation. The study arrives at the following conclusions and suggestions : - The study identifies formation concept.It investigates its concept deeply. - AL - Saaleeq and AL - Fattacks poetry have a great ability in poetry. - They were able to re form environment from poetic viewpoint. - They deal with poetic language as scientists who know every thing concerning its content. - In the assimilation structure art is mixed with psychology. - Most of Al - saaleeq and Al - Fattacks poctic assimilation pictures are very clear. - Al - saaleeq and Al - Fattacks poctic were able to change the task of the main assimilation structure from being printed on the poets conscience to being printed on the receivers conscience. May - The other studies in future study Al - saaleeq and Al - Fattacks poetry from a semantic point of view. - A study can deal with semiotic formation phenol menon in Al - saaleeq and Al - Fattacks poetry. - Al - saaleeq and Al - Fattacks poetry am be studied from a stylistic viewpoint.
