المستخلص: The preset work has focused on the study of gondatrophin ( LH & FSH) in the sera of (109) patients with thyroid disorders aged (12 - 50) years also(114) healthy individuals of matched age and sex were utilized as control group throughout this study .This work include two parts : - I) The first part of this study is devoted to the measurement the levels of thyroid hormones TSH,T3,T4 and gonadal hormones FSH and LH in the sera of patients and control group by using enzyme linked fluorescent assay ELFA technique on the Minividas instrument. The results showed that there were thyroid disorder which were classified into two classes ; 1 - Significant increase (p<0.01) in sera TSH and significant decrease (p<0.01) in sera T3& T4 for patients with hypothyroidism in contrast to patients with hyperthyroidism who had significant decrease (p<0.01) in TSH and significant increase (p<0.01) in their sera T3 and T4 .2 - significant increase (p<0.01) in LH & FSH levels in sera of patients with hyperthyroidism and significant decrease (p<0.01) in LH&FSH levels in sera of hypothyroidism patients, so the distribution of each hormone was divided into two levels (high and low).3 - Body mass index measured for both groups (patients &control group) , it is observed that ( 44.5% ) of patients with hypothyroidism were overweight while (60%) of patients with hyperthyroidism were underweight .II) 1 - In the second part of this study the sera of patients were divided into two groups (high LH levels 33.1 IU/L, high FSH levels 12.6 IU/L ) (low LH levels 1.8 IU/L , low FSH levels 3.2 IU/L ) in females , while in males (low LH levels 0.1 IU/L , low FSH levels 0.2 IU/L ) by using immune radio metric assay (IRMA) respectively.2 - The characteristic binding of 125I - anti LH antibody with LH and 125I - anti FSH antibody with FSH in sera of hypothyroidism (low LH&FSH)and control group were investigated . Different factors which affected this binding were extensively studied such as : concentration of antigen , concentration of antibody , pH, temperature and time of incubation .3 - Kinetic parameters Ka, Kd , k+1 and k - 1 of the binding of 125I - anti LH antibody with LH and 125I - anti FSH antibody with FSH in low and normal of LH & FSH level group were determined in the optimum conditions , the reaction followed pseudo first order kinetic .4 - The thermodynamic of125I - anti LH antibody 125I - anti FSH antibody with their LH&FSH respectively were studied by using Vant hoff equation to determine thermodynamic parameters of standard state " ΔH° ,ΔS° and ΔG° " , and Arrhenius equation to determine the thermodynamic parameter of the transition state "Ea, ΔH*, ΔS*and ΔG*".

المستخلص: The current study involves preparation number of cysteine derivatives by the reaction of cysteine with different aromatic aldehydes forming the following Schiff bases : "2 - (4 - bromobenzylideneamino) - 3 - mercaptopropanoic acid, 2 - (4 - hydroxybenzylideneamino) - 3 - mercaptopropanoic acid, 2 - (4 - (dimethylamino)benzylideneamino) - 3 - mercaptopropanoic acid and 2 - (4 - chlorobenzylideneamino) - 3 - mercaptopropanoic acid".The new prepared derivatives were identified by using spectroscopy (FTIR) and measuring their melting points.The biological activities against Proteus mirabilis were estimated using well - diffusion method around the plate then the antibacterial activities were estimated.The effects of the prepared compounds on urease activity were studied. The results showed good effect in urease inhibition. All the prepared compounds showed competitive inhibition since the value Vmax was the same and Km increased.Finaly, Vmax, Ki, Km and i % values of the enzyme was calculated using line weaver Bruk equation.It is noticed from enzymatic and biological studies that Schiff bases compounds are strong inhibitors of the urease enzyme where the(2 - (4 - (dimethylamino)benzylideneamino) - - 3mercaptopropanoic acid ) inhibition force was (Ki=0.0043 M) which is the highest inhibition force comparing with the other prepared compounds.The percentage of inhibition (%i) was equal to (96.77%).

المستخلص: The study to prepare five new azodyes, were derived from paracetamol and elemental mercury as a main part with each of thecompounds : 1) 2 - Amino - 5 - Sulfonic acid phenyl mercury (II) chloride.2) 2 - Amino - 5 - Acetyl phenyl mercury (II) chloride.3) 2 - Amino - 5 - Carboxy phenyl mercury (II) chloride.4) 2 - Amino 5 - Nitro Phenyl mercury (II) chloride.5) 2 - Amino - 5 - Sulfamide phenyl mercury (II) chloride.The study is divided into three parts, the first part includes the preparation of dyes (L1, L2, L3, L4, L5) of colors (pastel orange, red bloody, red bloody, deep orange, red bloody), respectively, and have the general chemical formula : X : SO3H (L1), COCH3 (L2), COOH (L3), NO2 (L4), SO2NH2 (L5) The spectral study was to identify the max. Wavelengths of the dyes is (500,330,300,380,500 nm), respectively. The effect of pH on absorption spectra electronic of dyes has been prepared and studied at the extent of the visible region of wavelengths (200 - 600 nm) using buffer solutions of different pH (0.7 - 12). The pH effect, time effect, size buffer, type buffer and the effect of sequence of addition, were studied stiochiometrey of formed complexes were carried out using molar ratios and continuous variation methods.The results showed that the complexes are composed by (1 : 2) (metal : Ligand).As well as, the study examined the applicability of the Beer’s law of the Beer and sensitive way spectral azodyes (L1, L5) with copper(II) and identified the maximum values of the concentrations of copper(15.25, 11.43 ppm) and the values of molar absorptivity ( e ) (7302.3, 6079.3) L.mol - 1.cm - 1, specific specific absorptivity (a) (0.1149, 0.0956 ml.g - 1.cm - 1), Sandell sensitivity(S) (0.0087, 0.0104) mg cm - 2, standard Deviation (S.D) (0.0215, 0.026), Detection Limit (DL) (0.76, 0.596 mg ml - 1) respectively. The study showed the interference of some important ions which may interfere and affect the values of absorption complexes under study in addition calculate of stability constants of these complexes using the method of corresponding solutions containing a half values method.Infrared spectroscopy were taken for both azo dyes and complexes (L1, L5) with copper (II), it is clearly that the spectrum from the observation sites and the intensity of the absorption of effective groups have differed PDF created with pdfFactory Pro trial version www.pdffactory.com between dyes and their complexes. In addition these dyes were identified by H1 NMR. The final part of the study included the applications ligands prepared and it is possible to use the dye solution (L1) as indicator in strong (acid - base) titration between hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide in addition to use ligands (L1, L5) as inhibitors for corrosion of carbon steel (N - 80) in hydrochloric acid. The rate of corrosion was measured by weight loss method.
