المستخلص: هذه الرسالة هي تعتبر عمل وثائقي يستعرض احد اهم الاحداث التي حصلت في العراق بعد الاحتال الامريكي في خريف عام 2003 ومابعدها. حيث تصور الديمقراطية المزيفة التي جاء بها الامريكان والتي تحولت الى مجموعة من الانتهاكات الصارخة والمنافية لحقوق الانسان ولما اقرته اتفاقيات جنيف فيما يخص التعامل مع اسرى الحرب ضد الاف السجناء العراقيين المتواجدين في سجن ابو غريب (كالتعذيب الجسدي والنفسي و الاذلال الجنسي والساديه وغيرها من اساليب التعذيب والقمع والوحشية).

المستخلص: This study investigates the thematic structure analysis of American and British newspaper articles on political assassinations. Throughout history, there have been several assassinations of well-known political figures. Many notable figures, including Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, and Yitzhak Rabin lost their lives, many more narrowly escaped. Understanding whether or not assassinations truly affect the development of events is crucial to comprehending assassination as a historical effect, a policy, or even a social issue. Thematic structure analysis has been studied by many researchers and looked for in different types of data, but there has been no investigation into how such themes and patterns are recognized and how they are analyzed to the best of the researcher's knowledge. The current study uses a qualitative research method supported by statistical analysis in order to analyze data collection in an attempt to fill the gaps left by previous studies. The study aims to examine theme and rheme organizations and to identify the patterns of thematic progression in the American and British newspaper articles. It also aims to identify differences and present reasons why all the articles differ along various views. The researcher has adopted an eclectic model for analyzing the research data based on Halliday's 2004 functional approach and Danes' 1974 thematic progression patterns. Twelve articles have been chosen to show different viewpoints of theme and rheme organizations. The thematic structure analysis of the study reveals that sentence elements that convey given information are consistently referred to as themes, while elements that convey new information are referred to as rhemes.
