Abstract: The paper aims to identify the efficiency of brain - based teaching in : 1 - 4th year scientific branch female students achievement in Chemistry.2 - 4th year scientific branch female students multiple intelligences in Chemistry.To verify the goals of the paper, the researcher originated the following There are no differences of statistical significance at (0,05) among the average of the experimental group marks who studied Chemistry through brain - based learning, and the average of the control group who studied the same subject but through normal method. 1 - There are no differences of statistical significance at (0,05) among the average of the experimental group marks who studied Chemistry through brain - based learning, and the average of the control group who studied the same subject but through normal method in the multiple intelligences. The researcher used the experimental research of (partial control) for two independent equivalent groups (experimental and control). According to this design, a sample has been chosen randomly of the study population in the secondary and preparatory schools for girls (morning study) of Al - Qadisiyah directorate of education - Al - Diwaniyah. Al - Uroba preparatory school for girls has been chosen in which (74) students have been chosen randomly. Section (A) represents the experimental group, which includes (38) studied through brain - based method. The control group is section (B), which includes (36) students studied according to the normal method. The two groups are compared in some variables (age including months, parents education and their achievement in chemistry for 4th scientific branch, first semester (mid - year) for the academic year 2016 - 2017 and multiple intelligences test. The teaching material is taken from chemistry textbook of the 4th year scientific branch, which includes chapters no. 3,4 and 6. According to the courses - based curriculum of the ministry of education in Iraq, the behavioural goals of these three chapter have been established as in appendix no. (17). The total number of goals is (155) one according to Bloom's cognitive levels (knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation) . Moreover, the researcher prepared (48) teaching plans for the two groups. As far as the tools of the study, the researcher used two tools, the first was achievement test in Chemistry includes (50) items, where (40) itme are objective one of multiple choice (four alternatives), and (10) items are essay type in which Face and content validity, coefficient of difficulty, discrimination coefficient and distractors, summative assessment, split - half method have been ensured. Based on this method, reliability coefficient before correction using Spearman - Brown equation (0,87), and (0,93) after correction using the same equation. Also, it has been proven by using (Kuder - RICHARDSON)/20 in which it reaches (0, 80). The second tool adopted by the researcher was the scale of multiple intelligences (Ibrahim,2008). There were (10) items for each type of intelligence in the scale of multiple intelligences. There were (80) items in this scale in which construct validity, discrimination coefficient and Cronbach's Alpha reached (0,96), The experiment was repeated in the second semester of the academic year 2016 - 2017 for 8 weeks. The actual beginning of teaching was on Sunday 26th, 2017 and finished on Thursday 27th, 2017 , After applying the two tools of the research and analyzing the results statistically using (SPSS) and Microsoft Excel - 2010. The reults showed that the students of the experimental group studied according to brain - based method outmatched the students of the control group who studied according to the normal method in the achievement test and multiple intelligences test.
