Abstract:
احتوى هذا الباب على المقدمة واهمية البحث عن طريق وضع تمارين بدنية متنوعة والتعرف على دورها البارز في تخفيض الحالات النفسية التي يتعرض لهراجال قوى الامن الداخلي بسبب الظروف والاوضاع الصعبة التي تواجههم. اما مشكلة البحث فتتلخص بما شهدته الساحة العراقية، | This part contains the introduction and the research significance through the development of various physical exercises and identifying their prominent role in decreasing the psychological conditions faced by the men of the Internal Security Forces due to the circumstances and the difficult situation they face.The research problem can be summarized by what the Iraqi arena has witnessed, a series of events, crises, wars, destruction, missiles, explosions and scenes of the dead, those tragic and gruesome scenes that led to the suffering of various sections, so they resulted in large deposits of horror, fear, grief, blood and bodies, forming a strong motivation for the exposure of psychological disorders represented by depression and death anxiety. The researcher sees the necessity to use various physical exercises that may have a positive impact on the individual's health, help him to get rid of daily stresses, tension, anxiety and depression and increase the confidence of Internal Security Forces men on whom lies the responsibility of achieving security and stability. The current research aims at : 1 - Identifying the extent of depression among the research sample.2 - Identifying the extent of death anxiety among the research sample.3 - Identifying the impact of special physical exercises to decrease depression and death anxiety among the research sample.4 - The preparation of various special physical exercises.As to the research hypotheses, they are as the following : 1 - There are no differences in the extent of depression and death anxiety for the research sample.2 - There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of depression between both the experimental and control groups pre and post the program application.3 - There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of death anxiety between both the experimental and control groups pre and post the program application.4 - There is no statistically significant correlation between the measurement results of depression and death anxiety for the experimental group.As to the areas of research, they are as follows : 1 - The human area : A sample of the military members of the Interior Ministry/Diala numbered (80) members.2 - The temporal area : from 8/4/2014 till 5/6/2014. 3 - The spatial area : The Police Training Center of Diala governorate.Part II : Theoretical Studies and Similar StudiesThis part addresses the main themes relevant to the topic of the search where it comprises of the concept of depression and its own axes, the concept of death anxiety and the concept of special exercises and their positive role in the individual's health as well as similar studies.Part III : The Research Methodology and Its Field ProceduresThis part includes the research method as the researcher uses the experimental method of control and experimental groups with the pre and post tests, where a sample of (80) members of the Ministry of Interior out of the original population representing two groups, the first group represents the main experiment which is divided into two group : the control and the experimental groups, for each group (20) members, the second group represents the pilot experiment sample of (40) members. The researcher uses Big scale for depression translated by Khaleel Ibrahim consisting of (18) aspects and the scale of death anxiety prepared by Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Khaleq in the Republic of Egypt and modified by Baidaa Hadi consisting of (39) items. The sample is homogenized and equalized. After defining the scales and exercises, the researcher made her pilot experiment to extract the scientific bases from it and know the suitability extent of exercises to the sample, then she made the pretests and executed the exercises within the training units of the experimental group at 8 weeks duration in (24) units at an average of (3) units a week. The training unit time ranged between (45 - 55) and after finishing the units execution, the posttests were made and then the results were treated statistically. Part IV : The display and Analysis of Results and Their DiscussionThis research contains the display of results, their analysis and their discussion of the results of statistical treatments obtained from the data related to the application of the scales by which the achievement of the research goals and its hypotheses is arrived at.Part V : Conclusions and RecommendationsThe researcher concludes the following : 1 - The special physical exercises have a great effect to decrease the depression for the research sample. 2 - The suitability of the exercises used for the sample helps in applying them correctly and appropriately, resulting in the balance and stability of the psychological state and the feeling of pleasure and fun.3 - Using physical exercises of light intensity and continuing the training with this intensity are reflected positively on the individual's psychology by creating the safe atmospheres free of crises, conflicts, pressures and tensions.4 - There is a positive correlation between depression and death anxiety.The researcher recommends the following : 1 - The special institutions of the Ministry of Interior should apply various physical exercises to decrease stress, despair and frustration which has a role in the emergence of depression and death anxiety.2 - - Taking into account that the exercises used are appropriate and suitable for each age phase so as to be able to do the performance correctly which helps to decrease the psychological cases.3 - Making the institutions of the Ministry of Interior aware of the importance of physical training to reduce despair and frustration which affect the individuals' behavior.4 - Emphasizing the continuity of physical training for the significant impact it has on changing the attitudes and behavior of the Internal Security men periodically.5 - - Emphasizing the use of walking sport for the positive effect it has on alleviating depression states.6 - Introducing the training curriculum within the training curricula for the members of the Internal Security Forces for it proved its effect highly in alleviating the psychological states and elevating the morale and combat spirit in them.7 - The necessity to provide psychological counseling units presenting collective and individual counseling services for the members. 8 - The necessity to develop counseling programs to decrease the depression and death anxiety for the sample individuals.
