Abstract: This study seeks to monitor a distinguished aspect of Ibn Abi Al - Khissal's literature represented by his prose letters, which have reflected his value and position among other writers at that era. It was taken into consideration letters of Ibn Abi Kissal collected and checked by Dr. Muhammad Ridhwan Al - Dayya, as well as some letters that were attributed to the writer, and found in the body of references and bibliographies. The importance of the topic comes from the fact that Andalusian literature was and still is a rich field of review and study. It was found in the letters of Ibn Abi Kissal what made the Andalusian prose be enlightened, and disclosed the rank of Andalusian prose in the fifth Hijri century, and how it participated in shaping life images in this area, as well as knowing writing styles used and were prominent there.Methodology used in this study was analytical, descriptive and aesthetic. This study of three chapters preceded by a preamble about the writer, his childhood, his educational background, and how his education has influenced his character, and preamble closed up with a brief about the style of the writer and his school in writing. The first chapter is devoted to the study of formal composition in letters of the writer, which was classified into three sections : in the first section, introductions of his letters were dealt with, in the second, its abstracts were discussed and in the third, conclusions were handled. Second chapter is included to study linguistic composition of these letters, which includes two sections; the first deals with lexicon of the writer, its terms' nature and their compatibility to the topic, the second is for styles adopted by the writer represented by the report, composition, objection, anastrophe, synonym, adaptation and implication. As to the third chapter, it is for studying descriptive and audio composition in his letters, which includes two sections, where we discussed an artistic rhetoric used by the writer to shape his images such as similes and metaphors. In the second, literary techniques were discussed which were used by the writer to get the letter's content coated with a beautiful rhythm, enriching semantic issues and consolidating meaning in the hearer's memory.
