Abstract:
The thesis addresses the rhythmic texture in the sermons of Nahj Alblaghah “The Peak of Eloquence”. The study adheres to stylistic Methodology when it came to analysis the issues which were dealt with. Speaking generally, the study sought to observe the distinguished rhythmic characteristics which have unique stylistic features that draws the dimensions of author personalityThe study consists of opening was entitled “rhythm and stylistic procedure”. The opening was twofold, the first part consists of the conception of rhythm, its two types (the internal and the external), and its relationship with indications and styles. The second was confined to stylistic procedure. It shows the most significant schools that affected the modern stylistic method.The first chapter was entitled “The Reiteration phenomenon in sermons of Nahj Alblaghah”. The chapter starts with an introductory section which outlines the topics of the chapter. After elaborating the background of the phenomenon. Subsequently, the chapter was divided into three sections : vocal reiteration, vocabulary reiteration, and textual reiteration.The second chapter was devoted to the study of the rhythmic phenomena in the ends of sentences. The chapter was divided into four section; the first addressed the paralleled, the second was about balanced, the third was devoted to the edged, the forth one was confined to the new phenomenon merits to be an issue of research, it is the stylistic phenomenon resulted from the movement from one end rhyme to another.The third and last chapter was entitled “the rhythm of sections and scenes”. The initial objective of the chapter is to observe more apparently rhythmic features. The final objective to set a new stylistic phenomenon. At the end the thesis came to its conclusion therein the main results of the thesis have been included.
