Abstract: This research aims to identify the "effectiveness of the concept circles strategy to acquire historical concepts for Mediterranean second class" For the purpose of verification of the goal The researcher have found the formulated following hypothesis : - •There is no difference statistically significant at the level of significance (0. 05) between the average grades acquire the historical concepts for the students of the experimental group who were studying strategy concept circles and the control group students who are studying in the usual way.To validate this hypothesis the researcher have conducted experiment lasted full classroom, as was the adoption of the following actions : Been followed the experimental method (a partial seizure) for two equivalent experimental one of them is experimental and the other is control, with a posttest test to acquire historical concepts, and this research has limited to second class students at the Mediterranean and secoudary schools belong to Directorate of Education of Babylon, as it was selected randomly sample (medium Mahaweel Girls) distributed between two divisions seminars, chosen by drawing random Division (a) to represent the experimental group taught strategy concept circles and Division (b) to represent the control group taught the usual way.Has rewarded the two groups of research in some of the variables that might have an impact on the dependent variable : The age calculated in months, the collection of the students in history the first half, test the above information in history and the IQ test, and educational attainment of the parents, as well as adjust the other variables for the safety of search Note that the researcher has taught two groups of research and identified scientific article the last chapters (IV and V) from the book of the ArabicCand Islamic history scheduled second class average in 2014 - 2015 also identified behavioral objectives in the cognitive domain and numbered (120) purpose behaviorally for the purpose of preparing lesson plans for the two groups of search (experimental and control), As for the search tool researcher has prepared a test of the acquisition of the concepts are (60) items of multiple choice.Experience has been applied in the second semester of the academic year (2014 - 2015), as she was in the beginning of the experiment on Sunday (02/15/2014), and ended on Tuesday (05/05/2014) For the results were data processing statistically using samples test for independent binocular and the results showed the following : •outperformed students in the experimental group who studied strategy concept circles on the control group students who studied in the usual way to test the acquisition of historical concepts.In light of the search result researcher reached a number of conclusions are : 1. The concept circles strategy proved its effectiveness and superiority in the usual way on the acquisition of second class students at the average historical concepts.2. acquire historical concepts, as it was a great role in making students more aware of the concepts with individual differences observed during the presentation of the material and progress them.In light of this, the researcher developed a number of recommendations on the results of the research, including : D1 .Paying attention to teachers to use modern teaching strategies in particular the concept of circles in the teaching of historical concepts strategy, because of its effect in increasing the acquisition of her students.2 .Include the history books in the middle stage illustrative photographs reflect the concepts contained so as to help in facilitating learning by the learner, such as the concept of the battle.Complementing the research aspects of the researcher proposed the following : 1. conduct a similar study for its researcher at other stages of study and other study materials and to both sexes.2. further studies related to the use concept in teaching circles in other variables such as scientific tendencies, trends and thinking about the historical and other.
