Abstract: يسعى البحث الحالي الى مقارنة الخصائص القياسية لاختبار فليب كارتر المتقدم للذكاء لدى طلبة الجامعة على على وفق القياس (معياري ومحكي ) المرجع.ولتحقيق هذا الهدف اتبع الباحث خطوات علمية في اجراءات تحليل اختبار فليب كارتر على على وفق القياس معياري المرجع، فق | The present study aims at comparing the psychometric Properities Of IQ Advanced Test by Philip Carter For University’s Students According to (Norm - Criterion) Referenced Measurement. To achieve this aim , firstly Philip Carter Test has been translated into Arabic language , then translated back into English language, and vice versa and showing the tow original copies to an expert in English language , then , the researcher shows the Arabic version to an Expert in Arabic language to check, Then the translated Philip Carter Test, and showing Educational and Psychological Sciences to assume the translation validity of the test item and the an ability of the appropriate character's tics of these items and their options in respect to their form and content, Accordingly, the test items were considered suitable to achieve the aim of the present study. The Test applied on a sample consisted of(50) students selected randomly from Al - Mustansiriya university and university of Technology and it shown that , this practice was clear and understood and the average of answers was only(50)minutes. The test has been applied on (1000) male and female University students who has been selected by the random multi - stage sampling from Iraqi Universities. In terms of the of psychometric Properities of the test, the validity has been achieved , according to Norm - Referenced measurement , by three indices (Translation validity , and face validity , and construct validity) by finding discrimination power and the correlation between the item score and the total score of the scale. Reliability of the scale has been computed by using analysis of variance method (formula) The Test applied on a sample consisted according to Criterion - Referenced measurement based on Rasch's uni - index model which is me, In order to verify Rasch's model assumptions, the following steps are done : 1 - Uni - dimension : To verify this assumption factorial analysis of the test is applied by using the essential components. One meaning full factor of the test is obtained which is interpreted by the lower limits of Guttmann which considers the factor to be statistically significant since its Eigen value equals or up the one, and depending on a ratio of 0.30 - up to the items saturation ratio by the general factor according to Guilford's norm. No item has been deleted from the test by the applied statistical program. In addition to this method, the compellation coefficient method is applied by finding out the relation of the items come to the total score of the test. 2 - Item fitness is another indication that the items do measure the uni - dimention trait. It is found out by computing the Chi - square value on a level of significance of (0.05) as computed by the ICL program, consequently no item is eliminated.3 - Measurement independence which achieves objectivity represented by Rasch's model, for no item is eliminated. After analyzing data in terms of, the(Norm - Criterion) Referenced Measurement below results have been obtained : 1 - Both two Measurements' have construct validity.2 - There are statistically no significant difference is found in favor of reliability coefficients, depending on both methods of two Measurements' (0.05) level of significance.3 - When comparing the criterion error value between the two Measurement, it has been no significant difference is found the criterion error value.4 - The number of the items for both styles has been equal in its final version. Then the researcher to conclusions and to develop a set of recommendations and proposals.
