Abstract:
The application of the idea of integration in the sustainability of things or due traits in different scales, particularly in the integration of environmental and urban considerations residential complexes scale, has emerged as a solution to the many problems that have occurred in cities and neighborhoods as a result of their growth and development and increasing population numbers. Came the concept of integration to restore balance and conditioning required when creating and bonding or re - development of residential complexes of environmental and urban areas and bring them closer to the case of sustainability, it requires a kind of bonding represented the integration of environmental followed by the integration of urban. To achieve this, we shall recognize the concept of integration is a detailed derivation of the most important indicators that help in the evaluation of environmental and urban sustainability process , the integration of sustainability and find out how much the approach of the study area by monitoring the strengths and weaknesses in the performance of this center in terms of integration. So research on the problem that the scientific need to clarify the concept of environmental integration - urban residential complexes sustainable "based as to the lack of integration between the urban and environmental planning generates urban and environmental problems resulting from the omission of the most important aspects of sustainability when creating residential complexes in Iraq.To prove the hypothesis to the effect that the integration of environmental and urban planning to achieve sustainability of residential complexes so that they are self - environmentally - sufficient, where they were in this research study of the concept of environmental and urban sustainability and knowledgeof relational relationship that achieve sustainability and inferred across derived indicators of the first chapter where he has been identified mechanisms and models of urban sustainability and that was the entrance to extract and access to their integration together indicators are indicators of interdependence, diversity and harmony (partnership) ,balance and working proactively and as an integrated system to achieve environmental sustainability of urban residential complexes and access to research aims to raise the efficiency of residential complexes and the extent and relevance with the environment characteristics in order to achieve sustainable residential architecture the most suitable natural habitat untapped modern technology. And they used those four indicators to measure evaluating the efficiency of integration in the part of the holy city of Najaf to improve their conditions in order to achieving environmental sustainability and urban where.The last recommended by the search represented by two important first need to go to the integration concept for a new form of urban development in residential areas within a positive effect on the physical and social environment in residential areas of environmental considerations. The second is to increase awareness of the concept of changing the word from the apartment complex so the abstract sense (vertical housing) to the most comprehensive sense, containing the compound as a city full of itself and sustaining aspects of urban and environmental, social and economic of the inhabitants and the surrounding areas
