ما زالت النظرة التقليدية لوضع المراة في المجتمع بسبب هيمنة السلطة الذكورية والمعايير الاجتماعية كالقيم والتقاليد الاجتماعية والاعراف وبما ان المراة لا تمثل نصف المجتمع فقط، بل انها تمثل نصف الطاقة البشرية القادرة على العمل، وان اتاحة الفرصة لها واختيار ال | The conventional view to women is still in society due to the male domination on society and the social values. Since women and the costumes and women. Since women is not half the society, but half of its potential energy that is capable of working. Giving her the chance to work according to her efficiency and ability and academic achievement is a justice in the distribution of professions between the sexes without discrimination. Women bear the responsibility of correcting the view created by men. The importance of this study comes from knowing the most important social limitations of women work in society which effect on many aspects in her life like choosing a career suiting hers and the range of women working in the university of Baghdad - Jadriya complex towards working women for the increase of the number of working women to contribute to the economic activity starting from the principles of the heavenly religions, specially Islam. The study aims at : 1. Knowing the social limitations that should determine the profession of women in society.2. Knowing the professions which women practiced in history. 3. Comparing the previous studies with this one. 4. Shedding light on the importance of the activities of women in working.Also, the field study of the sample shed light on teachers and female teachers of Jadriay Complex. The sample included (200) subject like (100) of the female teachers. Percentile rate and arithmetic means and Chi - square and Spearman coefficient. Also, the study showed : 1 - The sample of study preferred the teacher from the other professions. 2 - Most of the opinions of the studied sample affirmed that the basic defense for women going to work is economical. 3 - Most of the opinions of the studied sample affirmed that costumes and values are the most important determinants of the women participation in society. The most important recommendations and suggestions, affirm that : 1 - The necessity that family depended on the dealing with children and indiscrimination. 2 - The necessity to change that conventional view towards in Iraqi society through media. 3 - Encouraging families to orientate girls to go out working.4 - The necessity that Ministry of women care for women. The most important suggestions are : 1 - Making more studies about the concept of social limitations of women.2 - Making symposiums and conferences and seminars on the level of Baghdad and the governorates of Iraq.3 - Opening the research centers specialized in women's affairs and the challenges facing them, and surmounting them
